It is announced that Jon Moxley will be replacing PAC as one of the World Trios Champions due to an injury that PAC has suffered in the last week.

He says that when Copeland was down on the mat, he had to be the one to do it. He says that he is not the helpless kid that Copeland once saw him as and that Copeland disrespected him as a man, and that anyone who disrespects him will have to pay. Cash says FTR are grown men and will be treated as such. Dax says that last week, he saw a sign in the crowd that said "Why FTR Why," then says "Why not?" He says the fans should be thanking them, as they gave Copeland everything he wanted, as he begged for relevancy at FTR's expense and FTR gave it to him. He says that regardless of what the fans thing, what FTR did was right, and while they do not owe anyone an explanation, he will have fun with this. Dax says FTR was irrelevant for four months so that Copeland could win one more world title and prove he is still the man. He says Copeland is "too damn selfish," especially after FTR has won ten tag titles in seven worldwide companies, then says there are fans and people in the locker room are not happy with, and asks Tony Schiavone to come to the ring. Nigel McGuinness tries to talk Tony Schiavone out of this, but Tony heads to the ring anyway. He says they are still front and center and that they will accept The Opps' (Samoa Joe, Hook, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) challenge. Claudio says this will be a lesson for "play wrestlers" who do not want to come to work, and that what matters is in the front line. He says that this will be Hook's biggest match ever, but reminds him that chicks dig scars.

Dax Harwood accepts their challenge for tonight, and that Daniel Garcia will be at ringside.

Anthony Bowens beats Blake Christian after Billy Gunn helps take out "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson on the outside. After the match, Bowens says this has been a long time coming and that it is time to level up, as he is AEW's "five-tool player" and "the pride of professional wrestler." After the match, Daniel Garcia - who confronted FTR for the two spike piledrivers and the attempt at a third one - confronts FTR again. FTR leaves as Garcia checks on Daddy Magic, then return and attack Garcia before hitting him with a spike piledriver. Security and referees show up before FTR can hit a second one, and referee Mikey Posey gets shoved before FTR go for the move again. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) rush in and force FTR to retreat.

Athena beats Harley Cameron to advance in the women's Owen hart Tournament.

We hear from Mercedes Moné, who says that she will be in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, where she made her debut and had the biggest dream of holding all the gold. He tells Copeland to stick his demand for a title shot up his ass, but tells him that if he wants a fight, they can do it anywhere, including next week at Grand Slam Australia. As she calls Harley a loser again, Harley interrupts and starts her second song. Harley tells Mercedes through song to get ready to feel the wrath of Harley Cameron. Mercedes plays along just to get her hand on Harley's guitar to get her to stop before implying she is fake and stating her puppet can wrestle better than her. Mariah calls Toni a joke and a meme that the fans laugh at before forgetting about her, just like she knew they would, and admits she does not and has never cared about Toni, who she calls "the easiest, dumbest pawn" that she used to dominate the game, and if she has to remind her again at Grand Slam Australia, so be it, because as good as she feels right now, she will get off humiliating her in her hometown. When asked what is next for him, he asks what his house is without the keys, especially when he came up short at Revolution, and brings back his vow that he would give his all and become AEW World Champion when he signed his AEW contract. Swerve thinks is karma for some of his earlier actions in AEW and feels that he has some doubt running through his head that he should settle for being "a role player," and the fans chant "You deserve it!" Swerve says that for this, he will not let the fans down. He says nothing changes from this point on, and warns Samoa Joe that he is coming for him. Suddenly, Samoa Joe shows up and Swerve is "talking funny" for somebody who just got beat down and is making promises to the fans he will never keep. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, Wardlow) shows up, and Adam Cole says the only story worth talking about after Revolution is them now that Roderick Strong is International Champion and Taven and Bennett are still ROH World Tag Team Champions. Cole then proposes that Undisputed Kingdom might as well fight Joe and Swerve. Swerve is for it, but Cole says Swerve does not make the rules. He says that if next week is his last match, so be it, then congratulates the next team to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships, as he will never be able to replace Sting. Suddenly, Bullet Club Gold shows up. Jay White says he did not want to interrupt anything, but he says Darby Allin is so weird and elusive that he wanted to congratulate him for winning on Sunday and proving he would sacrifice himself to ensure Sting retired a champion while he still could. He also calls Darby Allin crashing through the glass and leaving Sting to fight by himself "stupid" and that he does not care much about the talk about their match, and that Darby is now "a lost puppy" without Sting. He says this match does not need to happen much like how Darby never had to jump off the ladder into a pane of glass and that nobody would think any less of Darby after all he has been through. Jay White then warns Darby that if he gets in the ring with him, he will encounter more than a few scratches, and instead of a match, they and "Darby Scissorhands" can hang out together backstage. Darby says that Jay White has done so much in Japan only to come to All Elite Wrestling to play with cardboard cutouts, and tells him that if he is so confident in his abilities, he had better come to the ring alone. Callis says he has learned a lot about Japanese culture from Takeshita, and that the top wrestler in the promotion is called "the ace." He calls Takeshita better than all of the aces, and while beating Kenny Omega once makes one an ace, beating Kenny Omega twice in a week makes one "The Alpha." As confetti rains down, Don Callis decrees that Takeshita will be addressed as "The Alpha," then states that he feels nothing about destroying Kenny Omega due to having no empathy, which he considers weakness. He says that everything has taken from Omega and they have taken a little more, and after breaking his body, he will break his heart, and reveals the next target of "The Don Callis Family" by revealing a painting of Kota Ibushi with a sword over him. He then talks about how he has seen Guevara grow over the years, maturing, winning championship gold and starting a family, and says that he is proud of Guevara and everything he has accomplished in the last four years. Guevara says the usual thing to do what to talk trash about his opponent in Jericho, but he is not going to do that because Jericho has always been an inspiration to him. He then thanks Jericho for changing his and others' lives, for without Jericho, there is no AEW. He then says he did not come to AEW just to be Chris Jericho's sidekick, but to become world champion and have people looking at him like they do Jericho, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley, and he cannot do that while in Jericho's shadow. After Guevara says he has to win next week, Jericho says he agrees, and that he brought Guevera here to become a big money draw, which he is getting closer and closer to every week, and he has to be outside of his influence and do it on his won to make that happen. He calls their match next week the biggest match of their careers and that Guevara must win, and that if Guevara is to win, he must be better than he has ever been. After Jericho says he is not ready, Guevara says this is what is has come to and that he will beat Jericho and earn his respect before they both win the tag team titles. Both men shake hands, then have a staredown in the middle of the ring. He then says he will make sure Adam Page will not be comfortable on the way there, then Brian Cage attacks Adam Page from behind while Prince Nana dances again. Suddenly, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) superkick Brian Cage and dance with Prince Nana, who gets superkicked by The Young Bucks as soon as he turns around.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Daniel Garcia, who would rather talk about his recent viral success rather than Chris Jericho or Sammy Guevara.
