Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 13, 2025

The Vision (Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman) head to the ring to start tonight's show. Rollins introduces The Vision as his vision, and he says that while tonight is about, he wants to admire the greatness that is standing in this ring that he has assembled in Paul Heyman, who he took in in during his hour of need, becoming the certified greatest and becoming blessed in his presence; Bron Breakker, who came to him with whispers of potential and have flourished into everything Rollins thought he could be and more to become the undisupted future of the industry; and Bronson Reed, who was on the shelf six months and received all of Rollins' knowledge about Roman Reigns to destroy and embarrass Roman and become the new tribal chief. Rollins then asks who the greatest World Heavyweight Champion is and why is it him, then quotes Heyman by stating that there are levels to this and that there is no one on his level. He states that the difference between him and the greatest of his generation is that he has not needed anyone to get his success, which leads to the crowd chanting "Bullshit!" Rollins says Roman Reigns needed The Shield and The Bloodline while "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes needed him to beat Roman while he never needed anybody, then states that he does not need The Vision and that he beat CM Punk, won the World Heavyweight Championship and trounced Cody with one good arm on his own. He concludes by states that he has chosen the men in the ring with him and that the men in the ring with him have chosen him before pyrotechnics go off at the top of the entrance ramp.

Backstage, Rusev encounters Penta. Rusev says he, not Penta, should be facing "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, then says he will allow it because General Manager Adam Pearce has told him that he will face the winner of tonight's match. He tells Penta he has not forgottten the kick from last week, and tells him to pray. Penta leaves, then "Dirty' Dominik Mysterio shows up, notices Rusev, and wisely turns around.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta. During the match, Rusev shows up, but Penta hits him with a dive over the top rope. Dominik uses his championships to hide the ring bell hammer, and drops one of the championships in the middle of the ring to hit Penta with the hammer on his way back hide the hammer in his boot to use it as part of the 619, and hit a frog splash from the top rope to retain.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews LA Knight. Knight says CM Punk is not his partner tonight and he might get punched in the mouth and pin, and regardless of who he has to pin, tonight is about #1 contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship and going 3-0 against Punk, who suddenly shows up and tells Knight he will never pin him and become World Champion. Knight tells Punk he needs to accept the "is-ness" of him and that he will become champion, then leaves.

Backstage, Asuka chews out Kairi Sane for losing. Kairi apologizes, but says she can fix this by talking to Iyo Sky. Asuka tells Kairi to fix the dishonor she caused her by facing Rhea Ripley and reminding everyone that she is in charge. Kairi then shows the bruise on her forehead and says that it came from helping Asuka, but Asuka slaps her in the face.

UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski and UFC Welterweight Champion Jack Della Maddalena are seen in the crowd.

Rhea Ripley beats Kairi Sane. During the match, Asuka gets on the apron, but Iyo Sky takes her down. Kairi tries to take advantage with a schoolkid pin, but Rhea kicks out and hits the Riptide for the win. After the match, Asuka attacks Iyo from behind on the outside and throws her into the ring post, but Rhea boots her off the apron. Rhea clears off the commentary table to put Asuka through it, but Kairi hits Rhea from behind with a shinai, allowsing Asuka to hit Rhea with a DDT on the commentary table.

We see footage of officials and Iyo Sky helping Rhea Ripley to the back.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso tells "Main Event" Jey Uso he will take down "Big" Bronson Reed, then mentions Roman Reigns. Jey says that Roman has told them that there is only one way to go - his way - then says Roman looked out for himself and that they should do the same. Jey says he appreciates Jimmy Uso going after The Vision (Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman), but he cannot make the same mistake he made in Paris by looking out for Roman. Jimmy tells Jey to handle his business while he himself handles his own.

"Big" Bronson Reed beats Jimmy Uso. After the match, Bron Breakker shows up to celebrate with Bronson, then runs into the ring and hits Jimmy with a Spear. He soon hits another one after Bronson holds Jimmy in place, then Bronson rips the tape off Jimmy's ribs for a third Spear from Breakker. Breakker is halfway around the ring on the outside for the Spear when "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up, superkicks Bronson and fends off Breakker. Bronson hits a corner splash on Jey's shoulder, but Jey sends Bronson out of the ring with another superkick. Afterwards, Jey chastises Jimmy for needing his help.

Backstage, Lyra Valkryia talks with Bayley, wanting to know if she can trust her against The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez), because if she cannot, then this match will be "a one-time thing." Bayley says she is great, but Lyra feels like she is getting the runaround again.

Theo and Nathan Saidden from the upcoming Netflix series "Son of a Donkey" are seen in the crowd.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria beat The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez) after Lyra slaps Bayley in the face to get her to focus.

Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins talks with Paul Heyman, saying that the last six months have been nothing but smiles but are nothing compared to the next six or twelve months will be. He then says he senses something big is on the horizon before "Big" Bronson and Bron Breakker shows up. Rollins congratulates them for dealing with The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) and for creating the greatest weekend in his professional life and for their growth in the last six months, even going so far as to eclipse both his marriage and the birth of his child, and lets them know that this is the mountaintop and the rarified air that they have worked for and that they are close to taking the next step. Rollins says that he is on cloud nine and that there is absolutely no one who can knock him off that mountaintop.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce asks referee Eddie Orengo to find an update on Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky when "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up and says Crown Jewel was amazing. Pearce says that Styles and John Cena created a moment in time when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and asks where his moment is. Pearce is clearly not in the mood as Mysterio says he is the only person defending his championships around here, which gives Styles the idea to tell Pearce that Finn Balor and JD McDonagh should be defeinding the World Tag Team Championships, too. AJ Styles asks Pearce for a match with him and Dragon Lee against Finn and McDonagh for the World Tag Team titles, and Pearce makes it official for next week. All the while, Dominik does not want this match to happen, and he has to let Finn and McDonagh know after Pearce asks him who will be breaking the news to them.

Jackie Redmond interviews Stephanie Vaquer on the stage. Vaquer says she feels blessed to be the first woman to win four titles in a year in WWE, then Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez show up. Raquel tells Vaquer she is getting emotional over a title she should have never won. Vaquer says that Raquel lost tonight and that the bad night she is having is not her problem, but Roxanne says it would have been her problem if she got the match that she deserved, as she is the last woman to beat Iyo Sky and that she should be Women's World Champion and Women's Crown Jewel Champion. Vaquer tells Roxanne she does not care who she has beaten, because she will never beat her. She then tells Roxanne that if she wants to face her, then she should do something about, but Roxanne says she will do that on her time, not Vaquer's. Vaquer tells Roxanne she will be waiting.

A combined 40,503 people have attended tonight's show as well as Crown Jewel and last week's SmackDown.

CM Punk beats "Main Event" Jey Uso and LA Knight in a Triple Threat Match to become #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, The Vision (Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman), and Breakker hits Jey Uso with a Spear before running halfway around the ring to do the same to LA Knight. The Vision soon surround the ring, and Breakker and Bronson soon gang up on CM Punk before Breakker hits Punk with a Spear. Bronson then hits Punk with a Tsunami before Rollins tells Punk that he will never be World Heavyweight Champion. The Vision celebrate in the ring after Punk is tossed out of the ring, but all of a sudden, Breakker hits Rollins with a Spear, much to the shock of both Heyman and Bronson. Breakker and Bronson then look at each other, and Breakker asks Bronson "Do you wanne be...or not? It's your call." Bronson then drags Rollins to the corner for a Tsunami. Breakker then grabs Heyman and asks him the same question, then holds up the World Heavyweight Championship as Heyman raises both Bronson and Breakker's hands. (Shortly after the show ends, it is reported outside of WWE that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins has been seen outside of the arena after the show with his left arm in a sling following a fan picture taken with Rollins makes the rounds on social media. It is soon reported after that Rollins is legitimately injured.)

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for October 13, 2024

Note: This is a replay of the 12th episode of Championship Wrestling ever, from December 3, 2010.

Before the next match, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce shows up, saying he is here to cry "injustice" after the NWA Board of Directors has forced him to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Willie Mack, as he has already beaten Willie Mack fair and square and the fans do not deserve another main event from him. He says that the fans should get on their feet and bow before greatness, as he is "the Scrap Daddy." Suddenly, "Skullkrusher" Rasche Brown shows up, and Adam Pearce suddenly backpedals and backs out of the ring.

"Skullkrusher" Rasche Brown beats Rico Dynamite.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto interviews Austin Aries while advertising the next TV taping at the Showcase Theatre at 615 North La Brea Avenue on December 8th. Aries says the fans should be there to get a chance to see "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" and has travelled the world and picked up championships everywhere he has gone. He then says it may be their only chance due to him being the hottest free agent, and says the fan should line up early. He then says he will not be at Pink's Hot Dogs due to being "the spectacular, vascular vegetarian."

We hear from Los Luchas (Zokre and Phoenix Star), who say that they want to beat the other teams in the tag team division to get tag team gold.

We hear from Willie Mack, who talks about he got started training at the age of 14 and waiting until he graduated from high school to take his career further. He talks about how he was in foster care and got emancipated before living with his father and helping him out. He says the toughest thing about his career is his living situation, due to his father's age, and he hopes that he will have other people helping him out. Willie Mack says he will be world champion because he has what it takes to win the title and make it his own. He says Adam Pearce has been a good champion, but he will do him a favor and put his ten pounds of gold in his luggage. He also says that his mother is looking down from him in Heaven and has been watching him every step of the way, and he knows that he is making her proud.

Navajo Warrior beats Nick Madrid. After the match, David Marquez interviews Navajo Warrior, who says that The Tribe (Navajo Warrior and Hawaiian Lion), and says the only time anyone pays attention to them is when they want to levy fines and threaten suspensions against them. He says that as they speak, Olivia is at NWA headquarters fighting this, then says that The Tribe has made a statement before and will make an even bigger statement now.

We hear from "Hollywood Rockstar" Joey Kaos, who talks about how he came up the hard way and had to claw and scratch his way into the business, and now that he is in NWA, he is focused on the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and showing what he can bring to the table. He talks about how he got his break in XPW after treading water for a year-and-a-half and becoming their Television Champion for eighteen months. He says he is looking for competition, which is why he is here, and that he plans to shine. As for why he attacked Joey Ryan, it is of nobody's concerned, and that only Joey Ryan should be the one thinking about why he attacked him and joined Peter Avalon. Kaos says Joey Ryan will have a lot to answer for when they meet in the ring, as he only got a small taste of what he is all about, and that he will find out why he is simply the best.

Colt Cabana is the special guest referee for the next match, saying that he will give Willie Mack the fair shot that he did not get from "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce.

Willie Mack vs. "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship with Colt Cabana as special guest referee ends in a no-contest. "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, it is revealed that Scorpio Sky has been attacked backstage. At one point, Pearce tries to get himself counted out, but Cabana puts a stop to that by threatening to award the championship to Willie Mack if he does not get back in the ring, and Pearce is forced to comply. Shortly after this, Willie Mack inadvertently knocks Pearce into Cabana as Cabana is on the apron trying to get back in the ring. Pearce then tries to use the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, but Cabana stops him. Pearce spits in Cabana's face only for Cabana to punch him out, but Willie Mack only gets a near-fall. Pearce then shoves Willie Mack into Cabana, knocking Cabana down, then tries to use the championship as a weapon again, knocking out Cabana before doing the same to Willie Mack. Pearce then goes for the ground and pound on Cabana, and when two other referees show up, Pearce punches one and scares the other out of the ring. When Colt Cabana gets back up, Pearce hits him with the championship one more time.

They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for October 13, 2023

"Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Brother Zay in a trios match following the distraction by Jake Hager. After the match, it is evident that there are cracks in the friendship between Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard over Garcia's dancing.

In backstage footage from last Tuesday on Dynamite, Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White, "Rock Hard" Juice Roninson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) shows up. "Switchblade" Jay White makes fun of Penta el Zero Mieda and Rey Fenix having no championships, and Penta calls Jay White a thief. This leads to a match between Jay White and Penta next week.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Daniel Garcia, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, Jake Hager and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard. Menard says he cannot stand the dancing, but Angelo Parker says that they got the win they needed tonight and that the dancing got it done. Hager says they won and that they need to squash this, but Menard says everyone else but him needs to squash it.

Jay Lethal beats Trent Beretta.

We hear from Ortiz, who says that he fought so hard for Proud 'n Powerful (Mike Santana and Ortiz) to work because Mike Santana believed in him, but in the end, Santana stood next to him, not with him. As Ortiz says Santana gave him new purpose, Santana shows up and asks Ortiz where he was when he was out in the last fourteen months going through rehab and surgery, then proposes they handle this the best way they know how and tells Ortiz he will end him.

Skye Blue beats Emi Sakura.

The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) beat Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona).

THE NXT LVL - NXT LVL UP recap for October 13, 2023

Ivy Nile beats Kiyah Saint with the Dragon Sleeper.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Kelly Kincaid interviews Axiom. Axiom says he enjoyed the Global Heritage Tournament, and while he would have preferred to win the tournament, it is still worth thinking about. He talks about pushing Butch to a time-limit draw, and that he would love to have another match with him. As for his match tonight against Riley Osborne, he knows Riley has had only a few matches in NXT LVL UP and that he is talented, he will have to wait a little bit longer for another victory.

Axiom beats Riley Osborne. During the pinfall, however, Riley is able to kick out before three, but Axiom gets the win anyway.

John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. As Cena introduces everyone to tonight's show, Roman Reigns shows up with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Roman tells Cena that if he is going to open his show, he had better do it the right way, then demands that the fans acknowledge him. He then says the fans are chanting for a coward and that Cena only arrived and called himself the greatest of all time only because he took his leave, then says he is the greatest. Roman then says they have done this before and handled it, and that they will do this again. He then gives Cena a choice of leaving or being forced to leave. Cena says there is a lot of anticipation for what is about to happen, and says that WWE is unpredictable and SmackDown even less so, and with both of them in the ring, it is impossible to tell what will happen next. He then tells him that he is going to acknowledge him, not fight him, over being champion for 1,138 days. He says that respect and that accomplishment is earned, and he is not here to fight him because he has not earned it. Cena then tells Roman that he knows someone who has: LA Knight, who heads to the ring. Cena tells Knight it is his time and hands him the microphone, then Knight asks Roman "Ya pissin' your pants yet?" before stating that he is standing in his way and introducing himself to Roman, telling him things have changed since he left. Roman says he is proud of Knight getting the fans to chant his name after a few months, then wants to know what makes Knight think he can be in the same ring as him. As Knight tells him that speaking like that gets one spoken about in the past tense, Knight explains himself only to be attacked from behind by Jimmy Uso. Knight takes care of Jimmy Uso, then stands up to Roman, who leaves with the rest of The Bloodline. Roman then sics Solo on LA Knight, who then stands on the apron before leaving, saying it is him and Knight tonight. Knight dares Solo to get in the ring so he can turn him upside down and use him as a mop.

Before the next match, Elton Strong gets out of his wheelchair on the stage.

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) beat The Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland) after Elton Prince fakes a knee injury, allowing Kit Wilson to get the cheap shot on Ridge Holland from the ring apron and Elton Prince to win with a schoolkid pin.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Carlito, who has now returned to WWE and SmackDown. Carlito says there is only word to describe him: cool. Bobby Lashley shows up and welcomes Carlito back, saying his return was nothing short of amazing, then says the last time he saw him was when he was beating him up, which was a long time ago. Carlito then proposes his first match back in WWE being against Lashley, then he is attacked from behind by The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Officials, including Adam Pearce, stop things before they get worse.

Backstage, The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Zelina Vega) and Dragon Lee check on Carlito when Bayley shows up calling what is going on "a pity party." Zelina confronts Bayley, and this leads to an argument and WWE official Adam Pearce putting Bayley and Zelina in a match that will happen next.

Backstage, Roman Reigns talks with Jimmy Uso, who says he is playing Roman's playbook and is calling an audible if something does not look right. Roman tells Jimmy that the longer "Main Event" Jey Uso has the tag team titles with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is a bigger slap in the face to their legacy, and that Jimmy needs to take care of it.

Bayley beats Zelina Vega following the distraction from Iyo Sky. After the match, Iyo Sky and Bayley gang up on Zelina Vega, then Charlotte Flair runs into the ring, forcing Iyo and Bayley to retreat.

LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa is official for later tonight.

Triple H heads to the ring. Triple H says he has Adam Pearce - who has had a successful in-ring career and has done an incredible job as an official on both shows in the last three years - in the ring, and thanks him for the thankless job he has succeeded at so far. He then says that he does not have to do this job alone and that he will no longer be alone, and that WWE official Adam Pearce is the new General Manager of Raw. Before Triple H can announce who the General Manager of SmackDown is, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and says The Judgment Day were screwed out of the tag team titles and is frustrated that "Main Event" Jey Uso and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes are defending "their" titles. Somehow, Triple H is able to hear Dominik Mysterio, then says Dominik is yelling at the wrong people and that he should be talking to SmackDown's new General Manager: "The National Treasure" Nick Aldis, who suddenly shows up on the outside and enters the ring. Nick Aldis shows up and shakes hands with Triple H and Adam Pearce, then says he is happy to have this position and see some friendly competition between Raw and SmackDown, then mentions the deal that Cody Rhodes made to move Jey Uso to Raw. Dominik then says that Cody and Jey are the problem, but Aldis says he will deal with them later. Dominik threatens to slap whoever has been moved to SmackDown and make them respect him, then Kevin Owens shows up and hits Dominik with a Stunner. Backstage, Roman Reigns is furious that Kevin Owens is on his show, Jey Uso is on Raw and Jimmy Uso is on his couch drinking his water when he should be making the play. Jimmy Uso and Solo leave Roman's dressing room.

We see a video package for Dragon Lee.

Backstage, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven proposes to new General Manager Nick Aldis new women's tag team titles with Italian leather to replace the current ones that are supposedly cursed. Aldis dismisses them, then meets with Charlotte Flair and tells her that she will go one-on-one with Iyo Sky following what happened last week with Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) distracting the referee, saying that things are going to change around here. Aldis leaves, then Charlotte runs into Triple H and Jade Cargill. Charlotte says she knows who Jade is. Jade Cargill says "It's my pleasure," to which Charlotte replies "Oh, it will be."

"Main Event" Jey Uso and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retain the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. After the match, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa show up as Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes head to the back, and both teams have a staredown. Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns show up, and Roman stares down Cody. General Manager Nick Aldis shows up with officials before things get worse.

LA Knight beats Solo Sikoa. During the match, Jimmy Uso goes for a Spear on Knight, but John Cena shows up ans tops him with the Attitude Adjustment. Solo hits Cena with the Samoan Spike, but Knight hits Solo with the BFT for the win. After the match, Knight gets hit with a Spear by Roman Reigns.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat Shera and Raj Singh in the BTI Match.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Alexander says that in the weeks leading up to Bound For Glory, Eddie Edwards referred to their match as "a war," and almost a week later, he can agree that their match was indeed a war. He then tells Eddie that war is over and that he is beaten but not broken, and still Impact World Champion. Alexander says he stands as World Champion and as the heart and soul of Impact Wrestling, and as he admits he is not perfect and has made mistakes, he has learned from his mistake of letting his guard down when the next challenger was waiting to call their shot. He says that instead of waiting for that person to call their shot, he calls them out in order to clear the air and asks some questions, and calls out Bully Ray, who shows up. Alexander welcomes Bully Ray back to Impact Wrestling and says that his reputation precedes him before telling Bully that he is a student of the game who has studied wrestling his whole life and that the Bully Ray he knows would capitalize on any opportunity. He says that he kneeled in front of him bloodied and beaten, but Bully Ray did not call his shot, and he wants to know why. Bully Ray says he would have done that, considering everything he has ever done, including in Impact, and that he has been in Impact longer than he has been anywhere else. He says that he stabbed everyone in the back including his own brother, but he did other great things in Impact and that he did it all. He then says he must "do it right" and that he must be honorable. Alexander says that Bully Ray is the last person in the business he can trust, but Bully Ray says he is not stupid and that everyone will tell him that and that everyone has tried to stab him in the back, too. He says that he has to do this the right thing against Alexander, as nobody has a good word to say about him. Bully says that he wants to leave a good taste in people's mouths about what he did for the business, and that he will not screw him like Moose did. Bully Ray tells Josh Alexander that he will see him coming a mile away and that he will look him in the eye and maybe shake his hand, as he is serious about doing this right. Suddenly, Steve Maclin shows up. Maclin says that this is the first time he and Alexander are out here together, and while they do not see eye-to-eye, there is not a thing that Bully Ray can do or say to make him trust him. Maclin then asks Bully Ray how he got into the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match and who he had to politick to get into it, as he is more dangerous behind-the-scenes than in the ring and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Maclin even mentions Bully Ray waiting a year to turn his back on the company and reveal himself to be the leader of Aces and Eights, then says that he himself does not stab in the back and comes straight forward. Maclin talks about how he has beaten two former world champions twice and asks how many more former world champions he has to beat before Moose suddenly arrives. Moose gives credit to Maclin where credit is due, then tells him to sit this one out as he is standing in the presence of world champions, and to watch how world champions conduct business. He then considers Bully Ray's actions and refusal to call his shot "shocking," and that he modeled what he does in Impact on what Bully did. Moose then calls Bully "a scumbag," then says he likes scumbags because he himself is a scumbag. Moose says he always looked at Bully Ray as "savage and despicable" and willing to do anything to win a match, and that Alexander and his family know just how dangerous he can be because he learned from Bully Ray. He then tells Alexander that what he has done in Impact in the last two years have been very impressive, and that only two men have pinned him in that ring and that he is one of them and did it in ten seconds. Suddenly, Bobby Fish shows up and says nobody around the ring is "spilling lies," and says that Moose has turned himself into "a total scumbag" and that Maclin is calling Bully Ray "a locker room politician" before asking where the lie is. He then addresses Bully Ray, saying that he is a scumbag with the resume he rolled out with, yet Josh Alexander "did not scumbag him." Bobby Fish then says he is geared up and wanting to know if Alexander will challenge him tonight in his hometown. Alexander says there is a lot of talk and even more unanswered questions, then accepts Bobby Fish's challenge.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). Sabin admits they are not tag team champions, but that is because Honor No More (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) cheated. Shelley says they cannot turn back time, but they can get another shot at the tag team titles from Scott D'Amore. On the way to Scott D'Amore, Heath and Rhino show up and tell The Motor City Machine Guns that they have gotten a shot at the title next week in order to fulfill a promise to become tag team champions by the end of the year. Heath also tells the Machine Guns that they deserve a title shot, but it will be against them and not Honor No More.

Killer Kelly beats Tasha Steelz in a no-disqualification match with a Killer Clutch with a chain.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice brag about being in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match when Dirty Dango shows up and calls what Swinger and Zicky are wearing a fashion violation. As things get tense between them, two yellow-hoodied men are being held back by security when Sami Callihan beats up the men in the hoddies and tells them he is coming for Eric Young after what happened in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore congratulates Josh Alexander for going to war with Eddie Edwards and coming out as champion, and after telling Alexander that he has Bobby Fish, he tells Alexander to take what Moose and Steve Maclin said into consideration. He tells Alexander that he was the one who injected that poison into the company when he hired Bully Ray and Devon in 2005, and that whatever Bully Ray does will be in his own interest. D'Amore tells Alexander to keep his head on a swivel as there is no telling where Bully Ray will come from, and that this mindset must start tonight.

Trey Miguel beats Alex Zayne, Kenny King, Yuya Uemura, Laredo Kid and Black Taurus in a six-way X Division match.

Backstage, Frankie Kazarian is met by "Speedball" Mike Bailey, who thanks him for the match. He says that he did not expect to lose the X Division title, but Kazarian gave his all and he won, and that they both brought the best out of each other. As Mike Bailey and Frankie Kazarian shake hands, Trey Miguel shows up and mentions his six-way match victory and says his sights are also set. Kazarian says both men's futures are bright, but it is yet to be seen if they can beat him for the title.

"The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw and VXT ("The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green) beat The Death Dollz (Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Jessicka) in a six-Knockout tag team match.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray meet up in the locker room. Dreamer says a lot of people are talking about how Bully cannot be trusted and wishes people knew the guy who did some much for him. He says that Bully Ray has a lot of doubters and haters and that he should do the right thing, as they both know that Bully Ray changes when he sees gold and tells him not to make him look like a fool. Bully Ray asks Tommy Dreamer if he has ever made him look like a fool, especially if Dreamer got him his first shot, then says that if he expects anyone to trust him, it is Dreamer, and says he will do it the right way. Dreamer asks Bully Ray if he wants to prove everyone more time, and Bully Ray asks if they want to team up, to which Dreamer replies "Why not?"

Honor No More meets backstage. Maria Kanellis-Bennett says their message was built on adversity, and in the last week, they may have had their fair share of it, but their message remains the same. He says that when one succeeds, they all succeed, and that the tag team titles are a symbol of success. Matt Taven then takes offense to Scott D'Amore not shaking his hand in the last ten months while wondering why Heath and Rhino have a title shot. Mike Bennett asks where Eddie Edwards is, then says Eddie may be gone for the moment and that he will come back when he is ready. He says it is up to them to carry the message and retain the tag team championships.

Matt Cardona beats Bhupinder Gujjar in his first match in months as Brian Myers heads to the ring.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Mickie James, who says Jordynne Grace proved why she is a dominant champion when she defeated Masha Slamovich, and that if she is still champion, she cannot wait to face her. She then says there are still other women on the roster to take on, and as she has respect for Mia Yim taking her to another level, VXT ("The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green) and "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw show up. Purrazzo tells Mickie James that she only respects losers while she is a winner, and Chelsea Green reminds Mickie that she beat her and that she should respect the three of them. Chelsea then says Mickie James had a pity party before coming back to make everything about her with "The Last Rodeo," but Mickie says Mia Yim earned that respect and proposes she and Chelsea have a match if Chelsea thinks she can beat her again. Purrazzo says that they have a tag team title rematch to worry about and decline, and Mickie James tells them to come back and see her after they lose that rematch.

We see footage from earlier tonight of Juice Robinson, Chris Bey and Ace Austin. The three of them agree that a match against Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer would be just "too sweet."

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander retains the Impact Wrestling World Championship against Bobby Fish. After the match, Frankie Kazarian shows up and congratulates Alexander on his victories against Eddie Edwards and Bobby Fish and says Alexander and Eddie both went to war. Kazarian then tells Alexander that he can add one more challenge to the list, as he has decided to exercise Option C.

Backstage, Moose wants help from Scott D'Amore regarding EC3, but D'Amore wants none of it. Afterwards, EC3's image shows up and says that the images Moose owns are owning him, but at the same time, Moose is controlling his narrative. EC3 says that it is only a matter of time before Moose crosses that bridge and gets back what is his, which is the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Moose then tells himself that he knows where to go.

The team of Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie beat the team of Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz and the team of Havok and Nevaeh in a three-way tag team match.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh says he does not have the money as John E. Bravo chews everyone out backstage. As Johnny Swinger mocks Fallah, Crazzy Steve wants to make sure everyone is being honest. Fallah Bahh accuses Crazzy Steve of defending Swinger, and as Steve says he is calling it like it is, Fallah says he will see Steve in the ring. After they, Swinger and John E. Bravo leave, Cousin Jake wants to practice the reception dance, but nobody is in the mood.

Backstage, Havok is met by Rosemary. After being asked to spell it out for her, Rosemary says he needs her help to revive Father James Mitchell, but Havok says she killed him for a reason. Rosemary wants Mitchell revived for the wedding, but Havok, knowing she does not want to let this go, proposes a match for next week. If Rosemary wins, she will help her; if Havok wins, Mitchell stays dead. Rosemary accepts and teleports away.

Crazzy Steve beats Fallah Bahh via a schoolkid pin after tearing Fallah Bahh's shirt, revealing the money he is hiding underneath.

Backstage, Rhino runs into Heath and says he took what Heath said last week to heart, and tells him he is the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory. If either of them wins, Heath gets the contract he proposed. However, if neither of them win, Heath gets no more chances at joining the Impact roster. He then tells Heath that they have a match next with Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match implications, and tells him to get ready. When Heath leaves, D'Amore shows up and thanks Rhino, but asks him if he will tell him "the other part." Rhino is unsure if he will, but D'Amore mentions "the other part:" if neither of them win the gauntlet, Rhino is also gone from Impact.

Hernandez, Cousin Jake, Alisha, Rhino and Heath beat Tenille Dashwood, Tommy Dreamer, Brian Myers, Cody Deaner and Johnny Swinger in a ten-person tag match to advance to a five-way match next week, where the winner enters the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory at #20 and whoever gets pinned enters at #1.

Backstage, Sami Callihan stirs up trouble with Eddie Edwards, then sics Ken Shamrock on Eddie to put him in the ankle lock.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs talks with Eric Young regarding his Bound For Glory match for the Impact World Championship. Eric says he is wondering if Rich Swann will show up, then asks Jimmy what he thinks will happen. When Jimmy says that Rich Swann is resilient, Eric says that nobody has dealt with someone like him before, then says he will go to the ring and get some real answers, as he feels Rich has learned not to mess with him.

Kylie Rae beats Kimber Lee with Smile To The Finish. After the match, Deonna attacks Kylie when she refuses to let go, but Kylie fights back and forces Deonna to retreat.

In two weeks: the wedding of John E. Bravo and Rosemary!

Before the next match, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson says that they realized that they like Impact Wrestling and that they were the best tag team there, but to be the best, they must have the tag team championships. Doc Gallows says they will punch through the targets on The Motor City Machine Guns' (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley)chests and will walk out of Bound For Glory as tag team champions.

Madman Fulton vs. "The Big LG" Doc Gallows ends in a double count-out. During the commercial break, however, the match is not only restarted, but also made no count-out and no-disqualification.

"The Big LG" Doc Gallows beats Madman Fulton in a no count-out, no disqualification match following a two-handed choke slam into two steel chairs.

After receiving some news, he tells the person on the other end that there is someplace he must be. After the commercial break, Scott D'Amore shows up. Eric Young expects good news, and tells D'Amore to tell the world what he already knows after he had to show Rich Swann what he is capable of. After expecting D'Amore to call Rich Swann "a crippled, no-good quitter," D'Amore mentions that Young did additional and substantial damage to Rich Swann's ankle. Young gloats about how Rich Swann gave him no choice but to show him the way out of kindness, because if he showed up at Bound For Glory, he would teach him a lesson. Eric Young then says that Swann is unfit for Bound For Glory. D'Amore says that he saw potential in Eric Young, then Young lost sight of who he was and who he had the potential to be. He then tells Eric Young that Rich Swann will be at Bound For Glory and that Eric will defend the World title. After D'Amore says that he hopes Swann will smack some sense into him, Eric Young attacks D'Amore. Young then tries to break D'Amore's ankle, but Swan gets in the ring and attacks Eric Young, forcing him to retreat.

Moose meats Ethan Carter III at a bridge in an undisclosed location. EC3 asks Moose if he seeks a false title for a false idol. Moose says he is a wrestling god, but EC3 tells him there is nothing original, clever or real about him, and that he is just the combined personality of every wrestler he has ever liked. Moose says EC3 is jealous and wants his career, but EC3 says he would throw himself off a bridge with Moose's career. EC3 then dares Moose to cross the line and fight him, and both men brawl on the bridge. EC3 gets the upper hand, then asks Moose who he is after being disappointed with the fight Moose gave him, saying it wouldn't be so funny if it wasn't so sad. As he walks away, Moose gets back up and hits him. After numerous punches, Moose bloodies EC3, who is laughing as he lies on the floor of the bridge, and Moose walks away with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

After Dark - AEW Dark recap for October 13, 2020

Jungle Boy beats Evil Uno, The Blade and Frankie Kazarian in a four-way match with a jackknife pin to Evil Uno. After the match, The Dark Order show up and attack Jungle Boy. As Kazarian fights The Dark Order, The Butcher shows up and leaves with The Blade as "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Marko Stunt fight The Dark Order off. Alan "5" Angels stops Marko Stunt from attacking with a Kendo stick, but Luchasaurus shows up and overpowers Angels.

The Lucha Bros. (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix) beat Lee Johnson and Cezar Bononi.

Before the next match, "The Librarian" Peter Avalon attacks Brandon Cutler on the stage before the match begins. He then demands that referee Rick Knox declare him winner via forfeit, but Cutler wants the match to continue.

Brandon Cutler vs. Peter Avalon ends in a double-disqualification after Cutler hits Avalon with a book that he rips up and Avalon hits Cutler with Cutler's polyhedral die. After the match, "The Librarian" Leva Bates walks away from both men in disappointment.

Scorpio tells Spears that if they have a problem, they can solve it. Shawn says he has no problem with Scorpio, but that he has a problem with Daniels regarding how he talks to Tully. Daniels tells Spears to name the date, and Tully proposes they have a match next week. Scorpio tells Daniels he's got this, and to save a little bit for him.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks guests on commentary for the next two matches.

The Gunn Club (Billy and Austin Gunn) beat Ryzin and Maxx Stardom.

Darby Allin beats Nick Comoroto. After the match, Allin runs at "Absolute" Ricky Starks and attacks him.

We hear from KiLynn King, who says that the first time she squared off with "the Native Beast" Nyla Rose, she showed that she would not be tossed around as easily as Nyla's past opponents, only for Vickie Guerrero to attack her from behind. Last week, Nyla Rose attacked her from behind. She says that these tactics make Nyla Rose a coward and not as big and bad as she thinks they make her, and proceeds to call Nyla a "native bitch."

Colt Cabana beats Griff Garrison with the Billy Goat's Curse.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats KiLynn King. After the match, Vickie Guerrero says that every day, she plans, schemes and strategizes how to get worldwide championships for Nyla, but for the past few months, the powers that be thrown them "broken Barbies" with no worldy name or legacy to wrestle. Vickie says she and Nyla will not be put to the side, and that they will not step into the ring until Hikaru Shida publicly accepts her challenge to face Nyla Rose for the AEW Women's World Championship, and if anyone thinks they are pissed off now, they can keep putting them to the side, for nobody has seen anything yet.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for October 13, 2018

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marseglia) show up to start tonight's show. TK O'Ryan tells the fans that what is about to happen in the ring should have happened a long time ago. As he speaks, he demands that referee Todd Sinclair to stand in the corner and not move, and that ring announcer Bobby Cruiser look at him while he is talking. He says that The Kingdom has been silenced for far too long, and now they will finally be heard out. Sinclair is forced to hold Matt Taven's purple facsimile of the Ring of Honor World Championship as Vinny Marseglia announces that the conspiracy is dead, then TK O'Ryan forced Bobby Cruise to read from a list. Bobby Cruise runs down all of Taven's accomplishments in Ring of Honor as well as his career (as well as Taven's claim that he is responsible for Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling selling out Madison Square Garden), then Matt Taven - who has been standing in the center of the ring - is coronated with the "Ring of Honor World Championship" as Bobby Cruise is forced by TK O'Ryan to name him the world champion. Sinclair is then forced by Marseglia to raise Taven's hand.

Kenny King beats Chase Owens with a roll-up after feigning a knee injury.

We hear from Coast To Coast (Shaheem Ali and LSG), who talk about their undefeated streak in 2018 as well as their recent victory against The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia and TK O'Ryan). Next week, they face The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

Before the next match, Flip Gordon says he has no problem fighting Shane Taylor, then calls out Bully Ray for putting his partner through a table at Death Before Dishonor to ensure the odds were against him in a match that Bully Ray not only chose, but made famous. He managed to put both Bully Ray and his partner "The Last Real Man" Silas Young through a table only for Bully Ray to screw him over. He wants to know what kind of match Bully Ray wants before Bully Ray suddenly shows up. He says that Flip Gordon should be more concerned with Shane Taylor than with hi, then asks if he is under his skin for kicking him in the balls and keeping him down. As Bully Ray continues to speak, Shane Taylor brings a steel chair to the ring, and as Flip Gordon turns around towards Shane Taylor, Silas Young shows up out of the crowd and hits Flip Gordon with a low blow before Shane Taylor hits Flip with the steel chair at Bully Ray's command. Bully Ray mockingly calls for help from the back as Shane Taylor and Silas Young have their way with Flip Gordon before Bully Ray asks Flip Gordon if he knows who he is.

We hear from The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe), who say that Coast To Coast (Shaheem Ali) have no chance in Hell of beating them for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

We hear from Jay Lethal, who talk about the G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Hiromu Takahashi beats Mark Briscoe by referee stoppage when Mark Briscoe injures his elbow rolling out of the corner very early in the match.

Before the next match, The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) show up not dressed to wrestle. Kazarian wishes everyone a happy Friday the 13th, and says there are "some very scary looking ladies in the building." They also announced that they are not dressed to wrestle as they are not going to wrestle. Kazarian then recalls the crowd cheering him when he pretended to join Bullet Club, and says the fans are only here to drink, throw streamers and get themselves over. As a result, they are not wrestling tonight because the fans do not deserve to see them wrestle tonight. As they leave, Daniels says they are not dressed to wrestle, but that they do not need to be to beat Best Friends (Trent Barretta and Chuckie T). After asking the crowd if they want to see that, he tells them to "eat a dizz" as they are not wrestling tonight and the fans can all go to Hell. Shortly after The Addiction leaves, The Dawgs (Rhett Titus and Will Ferrara) show up, and talk about how every time the Cleveland Browns come to town, they kick the Pittsburgh Steelers' asses and how the fans will have something in common with the Steelers as none of them want anything from The Dawgs. Titus then says this is why they will beat Best Friends tonight, and that nobody wants anything from them.

Best Friends (Trent Barretta and Chuckie T) beat The Dawgs (Rhett Titus and Will Ferrara). During the match, Will Ferrara pulls out a chain, but Cheeseburger runs in, takes it away from Ferrara and proceeds to jump on the apron and distract Rhett Titus. This allows Best Friends to hit the Dudebuster for the win. After the match, Best Friends almost leave the ring irritated with Cheeseburger, but they end up hugging in the end.

Jay Lethal beats Jay White.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia and TK O'Ryan). After the match, The Motor City mahine Guns are attacked by The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) until Best Friends (Trent Barretta and Chuckie T) run into make the save. Kazarian is clotheslined out of the ring, while Daniels is at the mercy of both teams in the ring and falls victim to a double choke slam from Best Friends. Afterwards, Best Friends hands the ROH World Tag Team Championships back to The Motor City Machine Guns.

Bully Ray shows up. He talks about how he concussed at Death Before Dishonor, and says he does not know what his future is and that he does not know if he will ever wrestle again. Last week, he got a call from the Ring of Honor executives telling him not to show up and take care of himself, and he considered it for a little while until he found out what towns the Global Wars tour would be in and realized that there was no way he was not going to show up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The fans chant "E-C-DUB," and he finds it interesting that the fans would chant that, as the Golden Dome is nearby and that passionate wrestling cities like Pittsburgh will always mean something to him. In 1996, he wrestled for the very first time in Pittsburgh, and remember when Troy Palomalo jumped over the guardrail and Speared him. He feels that it was necessary to show up and make eye contact with the fans, and says that you will not meet a lot of wrestlers who appreciates the fans like he does. He says that Pittsburgh has always been a great town for him regardless of where he was working at the time, and that this is his first time in Pittsburgh with ROH and it tops all the other times he has been here. He hopes that he gets to see the fans again one day, but he does not think it will happen. In case this is the last time, he thanks the fans and says "it's been a hell of a run."

"The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon, Deonna Purrazzo and Jenny Rose beat Sumie Sakai, Faye Jackson and Britt Baker after Faye Jackson taps to a Fujiwara arm bar from Purrazzo.

He was excited and fortunate to be in the tournament for the GFW Global Championship, but during his match with JR Kratos, he suffered a concussion and has been forced to back out of the GFW Global Championship Tournament at the behest of New Japan Pro Wrestling and GFW. However, he will be back, and he will be out for the Global Championship regardless of who is carrying it.

We hear from Nick Aldis, who says he wants to become world champion again and have a more fulfilling world championship reign than he did in Impact Wrestling. We then hear from Jeff Jarrett, who says that there are guys who want the GFW Global Championship, and guys like Nick Aldis who almost need the title. Nick Aldis calls Chris Mordetzky a man with obvious attributes who is smarter than he come across, and that there is part of him who wants to be taken seriously and a part of him who is afraid to fail.

Virgil Flynn meets PJ Black backstage, who offers him a cup of water only to knock it out of his hand. Virgil Flynn tells PJ Black he has him in the finals.

Karen Jarrett shows up. Karen talks about the match between Mickie James, Christina Von Eerie and Lei'D Tapa, and says that she cannot wait to see who Von Eerie's opponent is. She says that just like in other sports, women are making their mark and are proving that it is not just the men who can hold the spotlight. She then introduces Amber Gallows, who shows up. Amber says hello to everyone, and thanks GFW for having her here and allowing her to compete in the GFW Women's Championship Tournament. She could not be more honored, and tonight, she looks forward to competing against Katarina Leigh (best known as Katie Lee Burchill in WWE and Winter in TNA/Impact Wrestling) and Laura James. Suddenly, Teaze 'n Sleaze (Juicy Joey and Kenny Klimx) show up, and Kenny wants her and Karen to shut up. He then says that Karen and Amber killed the entire viewership in three minutes, and says it is time to give the ladies something to look at, as nobody cares about the ladies of GFW and all the ladies came to see them. The whole time this is going on, Karen cannot stop laughing as they rip their tanktops off and dance, not believing what she is seeing and asking Teaze 'n Sleaze if they knew where their husbands are as well as how ridiculous they look right now. Juicy Joey shushes Karen Jarrett, but Karen stops laughing and says Joey has forgotten who he is talking to and that she is here to talk about the women main eventing tonight, and says Joey, Kenny and half the men in the back cannot even hold a candle to them. He tells them to take their shirts and head to the back, because there is only one "Double J" and it is not Juicy Joey. Joey says something to Karen, but Karen slaps him and Kenny. Amber Gallows then kicks Joey in the face before grabbing the top rope and dropping down when Kenny charges at her.

We hear from Katarina Leigh, Laura James and Amber Gallows, who are very proud to be in GFW after having wrestled all over the world and all hope to become GFW's first Women's Champion.

We hear from Christina Von Eerie, who is glad to be in the finals and plans to show the world what she is all about when she becomes GFW Women's Champion.

Amber Gallows beats Katarina Leigh and Laura James to advance in the GFW Women's Championship Tournament. She celebrates wth Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson afterwards.

EPISODE TEN

Backstage, Teaze 'n Sleaze (Juicy Joey and Kenny Klimx) feel embarassed after last week, and Joey is going to the ring in an attempt to get back on top and make sure they are taken seriously.

We see footage of Kevin Kross training in the desert as he says that his loss to Bobby Roode was an embarassment. He says he wants the hard matches and the championships, as he wants to be the face of the company. He wants to train harder than his opponent and keep a mindset that will allow him to get better and make a name for himself.

Kevin Kross beats Juicy Joey.

Nick Aldis is seen entering the building.

We hear from Amber Gallows in footage from earlier in the week. She says the post-match celebration from last week is something she will remember forever, but that is only half the battle, and she will take the GFW Women's Championship home.

Jeff Jarrett says the final four in the Global Championship tournament will be set tonight, even though they have no replacement yet for Shelton Benjamin. Nick Aldis is irritated with the fact that Chris Mordetzky brought his personal life into everything, and says that he will use it against him again. Chris Mordetzky, on the other hand, sees nothing wrong with this and he and Mickie James go way back. Jarrett says Mordetzky is a main-event man who can go bell to bell and is also an arrogant prick. Nick Aldis says that Mordetzky did not have to bring Mickie James into this, but he did. Mordetzky calls Nick Aldis a great British wrestler with a great body and great ring skills, but calls him "a poor man's Chris Adonis." Jarrett and Nick Aldis also bring up Chael Sonnen lighting the fire between Adlis and Mordetzky, and even Jarrett says that Aldis is furious about this. Aldis says Mordetzky is trying to get into his head, and says that because of this, he is in Mordetzky's head. Mordetzky says that if Nick Aldis is furious about him about his mentioning Mickie James, then he can only imagine how furious Aldis will be when he loses.

We see the roads of PJ Black, Virgil Flynn, TJ Perkins and Jigsaw to the finals of the GFW NEX*GEN Championship Tournament.

Juicy Joey is not happy about tonight's loss, but Kenny Klimx says they are Teaze 'n Sleaze and that is all that matter. They have a tag team match with Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) to look forward to next week.

Nick Aldis beats Chris Mordetzky to advance to the finals and face Bobby Roode in the GFW Global Championship Tournament.

EPISODE ELEVEN

Jeff Jarrett shows up. He hypes up tonight's main event for the GFW NEX*GEN Championship Tournament, then focuses on the GFW Global Championship. Before he can mention what is going on with Shelton Benjamin, soe guy with sunglasses shows up with Chris Mordetzky and gets in the ring. He introduces himself as Stu Stone, and shakes hands with Jarrett before annoucning he is the official curator and business partner of Mordetzky. Stone apologizes on Mordetzky's behalf for bringing up Mickie James, and have brought flowers for Nick Aldis so they can put all this aside. Stone then mentions Shelton Benjamin being out of the Global title tournament, and proposes replacing Shetlon Benjamin in the match against Bobby Roode with Chris Mordetzky. Jarrett refuses, but Mordetzky overlooks the fact that Jarrett called him a clown and admits he was beaten, and wishes Nick Aldis the best of luck in the tournament. Stone and Mordetzky almost leave, but Stone gets back in the ring, and says that he would have to stick his head up his ass to undestand what Jarrett is thinking not putting Mordetzky back in the tournament. Jarrett tells Stone to repeat himself, and when he does, Jarrett grabs him by the shirt collar and threatens to punch him. Mordetzky pulls Stone out of the ring and has to hold him back.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett wants to know from Karen Jarrett who Stu Stone is, and says tonight is about the GFW NEX*GEN Championship. Karen tells Jeff not to worry about him.

We see footage of Virgil Flynn, TJ Perkins, PJ Black and Jigsaw entering the building before hearing from them prior to their match.

PJ Black beats TJ Perkins, Virgil Flynn and Jigsaw to become the very first GFW NEW*GEN Champion!

EPISODE TWELVE

Chael Sonnen shows up. Sonnen says he feels obligated to give the crowd an apology. Last time he was in the ring, he told the people to sit down and shut up, and says he was wrong to do that, as their behavior is just how they respond the first time they see a mega-star. He says there are celebrities, stars and Chael Sonnen, and he decided to do a little expeiment. He asks the crowd to stand up, chant his name and take his photograph, then tells them to turn tot he person to their right and say hello to them before doing the same to the left, and says those people are Chael Sonnen fans just like them, and tell them to get get together after the show and share their favorite Chael Sonnen moment. He then introduces his first guest, whom he says has a big announcement: himself. He then says he wants Jeff Jarrett to give him a match, and it does not care who it is against as he can easily beat them. After listing off a name of wrestling legends that he says he can beat, he says the clock is ticking and that it will be one more in the win column for him. He then leaves.

Juicy Joey is backstage with a new version of Tease 'n Sleaze. He says Kenny Climz got him this far, but he likes multiple partners and he likes to apartment, and that one could say he is a swinger. Next to him is his persona, Oozin' Austin, and together, they will get closer to the tag team titles and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) beat Teaze 'n Sleaze (Juicy Joey and Oozin' Austin) to advance to the finals of the GFW Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Henry Maxwell tells Kongo Kong that he will not beat one man, but two men to become #1 contender for the GFW Global Championship, then he will be known as the friend of the Global Champion. Kongo Kong gets angry when Maxwell accidentally cuts him with a razor as he shaves his legs.

Bret Granstaff, star of The Masked Saint is interviewed in the ring by Cyrus Fees. He syas the greatest part of working on the movie was working with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper but also learning how to do his own wrestling. Suddenly, Teaze 'n Sleaze (Juicy Joey and Oozin' Austin) show up, with Joey complaining about Granstaff getting television time. He says Granstaff fancies himself a wrestler after working with Piper, and says nobody takes professional wrestling more seriously than he does. He then lets Oozin' Austin redeem himself by giving him the wrestling lesson of his life. Joey then hits Brett with a cheap shot.

In footage from earlier this week, we hear from Brian Myers, who says that his career has gone stagnant after becoming a tag team champion. He says thing have changed since he took the independent scene by storm, and says GFW is the perfect place for him.

In footage from earlier this week, we hear from Luke Gallows, who says that Bullet Club cannot be in Las Vegas and cannon continue in the tag team tournament. They will be back, as Global Force Wrestling is Bullet Club and the tag team titles will soon belong to them. The Bollywood Boyz (Harv and Gurv Sihra) will continue to the finals of the GFW Tag Team Championship Tournament, where they will face Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend).

PJ Black brags to Cyrus Fees and Chael Sonnen about becoming GFW NEX*GEN Champion.

We hear from Kevin Kross in footage from earlier today, where he says he has no time to be nervous as he prepares for his match against Brian Myers and Kongo Kong.

Henry Maxwell introduces Kongo Kong before the next match. Kevin Kross gets in a physical altercation with Phil Baroni on the way to the ring, and security have to escort Baroni out of the building.

Kongo Kong beats Kevin Kross and Brian Myers to become #1 contender for the GFW Global Championship.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 13, 2016

Eddie Edwards starts tonight's show. He thanks the fans, his friends and his family from the bottom of his heart, saying he could not have won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship without them. Even though Lashley beat him in the past, he knew Lashley was beatable, and never thought about giving up becoming World champ once. He says he refuses to run and hide and that he will be a fighting champion, and that he will represent Impact Wrestling to the best of his ability. One will have to kill him to take the World title. Lashley shows up and chokes out Eddie Edwards, then hits him with a belly-to-belly suplex and lays him out with a Spear when he fights back. Lashley tells Eddie that if he will not run and hide, then he will punish him. He demands his World title rematch and calls for a referee, and is about to smash a steel chair into Eddie when Ethan Carter III and Moose rush in to make the save. Lashley heads back to the back.

The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax) want to speak to Billy Corgan, but Aiden O'Shea tells them to make an appointment. He tells them that Billy Corgan is not impressed with them, and that they need to do something impressive before they even think about speaking to Billy.

Jeremy Borash interviews Billy Corgan backstage. Billy tells Lashley that his World title rematch is gone due to his recent actions, and that he will be doing it his way. He tells Lashley he will be facing the winner of tonight's main event.

Aron Rex retains the TNA Impact Grand Championship against Jessie Godderz by pinfall in Round 3.

Lashley tells Aiden O'Shea that he and Billy Corgan have come to a compromise, and that he has a surprise for two men tonight.

"Broken" Matt Hardy says that he and Brother Nero have ushered TNA into the "Broken Era."

Maria finds out from Allie that Allie, Laurel Van Ness and are banned from ringside in tonight's Knockouts match.

Lashley runs into Ethan Carter III and Moose backstage. Lashley says that he will beat up two men tonight, then his opponent for next week. The two men for tonight are none other than EC3 and Moose.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero, the latter of whom is dressed normally) show up. Matt says that tonight is a night of celebration. They won the tag team titles, and Brother Nero repaid his debt to him. He now says his broken brilliance and Brother Nero's personalities have established that they are the greatest tag team of all space and time, beyond "The Bucks of Youth" and "The Day of the New." They celebrate the deletion of the tag team title reign of Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss), then Matt has a premontion: the next challengers to their tag titles will be determined tonight. They then celebrate with a "delete, obsolete" chant before The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax) run in through the crowd and attack The Broken Hardys, with Baraka kicking Brother Nero in the nuts.

We hear from both "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Cody Rhodes concerning Bound For Glory.

Moose says he has busted his ass to be a champion. Tonight, he starts his journey to become TNA World Heavyweight Champion by facing Ethan Carter III, and he is more than willing to put friendship aside tonight.

We are introduced to Marshe Rockett. He says The Helms Dynasty (Gregory Shane Helms, Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett) came to him because they know what he can do in the X Division, and that he is what the X Division has been missing.

DJ Z retains the TNA X Division Championship against Marshe Rockett.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett finds out that he is banned from ringside in tonight's Knockouts match, too.

Madison Rayne guests on commentary for the next match.

Gail Kim retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Maria Kanellis-Bennett in a no-disqualification match. As per pre-match stipulation, Maria Kanellis-Bennett is no longer leader of the Knockouts Division.

Ethan Carter III congratulates Eddie Edwards on winning the World title. Suddenly, Eli Drake shows up and butts in, and Ethan Carter III dares him to "press that button" so he can kick his ass.

Cody Rhodes checks on Eddie Edwards, who tells Cody that he is more than ready and willing to defend the TNA World title against him.

Three men in masks hijack the broadcast. The letters "DCC" pop in and out of the screen as they speak.

Moose beats Ethan Carter III. Lashley shows up after the match, and he and Moose stare each other down to end the show.

Dean Ambrose shows up to start the show. He wants to beat Seth Rollins down so bad that Rollins will wish he never met him, but he has to deal with John Cena first. He also thinks Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are protecting their "golden boy," Seth Rollins, as well. Ambrose plans to grab the contract at his match against Cena at Hell in a Cell and beat the crap out of him with it. John Cena shows up, and tells Ambrose to shut up and prepare for his match in two weeks, as his instability will ruin his opportunity. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up, and Stephanie puts Cena and Ambrose in a triple threat tag team match against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust), and Triple H makes a standard bet that Cena and Ambrose can't coexist for this match.

John Cena and Dean Ambrose beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust) in a triple threat tag team match. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon return, and Stephanie wins the standard bet...and one dollar. Triple H then takes the No Holds Barred Contract on a Pole match for Hell in a Cell and pushes it ahead to tonight.

Despite Layla leaving her high and dry, AJ Lee and Layla beat Paige and Alicia Fox. After the match, AJ beats up Layla.

Randy Orton shows up and says that while Seth Rollins calls himself "the future of WWE," the future is a long way off. He then asks Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for a match at Hell in a Cell against the loser of the Contract on a Pole match tonight. They approve.

Randy Orton beats Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Seth Rollins, who watched the second half of the match from ringside, hits Ziggler with a Curb Stomp after the match and shows off, much to Orton's chagrin.

Seth Rollins beats Jack Swagger, then Randy Orton, who also watched from ringside since the middle of the match, hits Swagger with an RKO and argues with Rollins.

Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose. Ambrose says he's not a nice guy, and he plans to put John Cena in his place tonight.

Tom Phillips interviews Big Show. He's proven that Rusev isn't unbeatable, and he plans to finish the job tonight.

Rusev beats Big Show by disqualification after "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry attacks Rusev in retaliation. After the match, Big Show and Mark Henry surround Rusev and set Rusev up for a Knockout Punch.

Todd Phillips interviews Todd Chrisley before the next match.

The Miz beats Justin Gabriel after dodging a springboard moonsault to hit the Skull Crushing Finale (which is called the "Crushing Finale" to avoid giving the episode a TV-PG rating in America).

On The 3rd Degree, the WWE Superstars mention what their favorite Superstar entrance themes are.

We meet Jim Johnston in WWE's recording studio, who briefly describes his job as composer of WWE Superstar entrance themes past and present before playing a few themes on guitar. He gives the advice of not pre-deciding what to do if you go into music, and to get as good as you can so more opportunities can pop up in the future.

Justin Gabriel tells us: Don't try this. He also talks about how he tore every single in his left arm after performing the 450 Splash at WrestleMania.

Sin Cara beats Jinder Mahal. Sin Cara slides under the bottom rope instead of leaping over the top with the aid of an unseen trampoline before the match begins.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 13, 1997

Eric Bischoff, "Macho Man" Randy Savage - in a neck brace - and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up to start the show. It is noted by commentary that Hogan has shown up without the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in his possession. Bischoff announces the premiere of Hogan's new movie Assault on Devil's Island on TNT on October 28, and asks the fans not to sneak signs advertising the premiere to WWF shows as "they would really hate that." Bischoff then Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has a lot of gall to force The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) to defend the tag titles tonight and to allow Diamond Dallas Pag eto injure Savage last week. Hogan calls the injury to Savage inexcusable, and that Piper should be preventing injuries and not causing them, but the nWo will soon take care of this. Hogan then says that Piper now has the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in his possession, and says Piper's use of the word "icon" is one reason for him to destroy him. He knows that Piper will be in the building tonight, and he will take the World title back while the nWo will drop Diamond Dallas Page like a bad habit.

Before the opening bout, it is announced before the match that Disco Inferno vs. Jacqueline will not be for the WCW World Television Championship due to a ruling by the Nevada State Athletic Commission stating that a mixed gender match cannot be for a male-dominated title, therefore making the bout a non-title match.

Eddie Guerrero retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Psychosis, who is no longer accompanied by Sonny Onoo.

Mike Tenay makes another report on lucha libra and the masked luchadores, this time on the Mexico City mask-masking workshop of Victor Martinez, the meaning of the mask in lucha libre, and what it means to lose one's mask in lucha de apuestas, or "bet matches."

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Piper says he has two orders of business to take care of right now: telling Eric Bischoff he's the boss and calling what happened to "Macho Man" Randy Savage justice. He then focuses on "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, saying he doesn't deserve the WCW World Heavyweight Championship after what he did to it, and that he has put it in good hands where he won't find it. He also has one more piece of business that is very important: admitting that he was right about The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) and forcing them to put the tag team titles on the line tonight or they will be stripped of the titles and made "more nakeder than the day they were born."

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

Steve "Mongo" McMichael beats Steven Regal. After the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Debra McMichael and addresses rumors that Jeff Jarrett is no longer part of World Championship Wrestling, confirming that Jarrett has left the company and has a new partner. Mongo shows up and says that he warned her about Jarrett and that when two snakes get in to bed together, one bits the other sooner or later. He then tells Debra to go back home and get back in the kitchen where she can really be a star. Okerlund says Mongo has won by default, but Debra says she has a plan and a big surprise for Mongo at Halloween Havoc as she always gets her way, and tells him that a dead snake can still bite.

We see some pre-recorded from Sonny Onoo, where he says he has been unable to teach Ultimo Dragon some respect with the luchadors, and now he has the real deal in the form of Yuji Nagata. Thanks to "a little friend in the WCW office," Nagata and the Dragon will square off at Halloween Havoc, and he will recollect the debt that he can never pay. We the hear from Yuji Nagata briefly.

Yuji Nagata beats Chris Jericho with the Reverse Figure Four Leg Lock, which Nagata calls the Nagata Lock.

We see Raven near a crib, and he makes the following statement: "My earliest memories are not of anything specific. They're more like memories of feelings as opposed to events. Feelings of abandonment, feelings of loneliness, feelings of sadness. They say our destiny is formed in those earliest moment, that our fate is determined at this critical juncture. The chosen begin their paths toward greatness; the ill-fated are doomed from the beginning. The unfortunate devour themselves in search for annihilation. You see, we are all prisoners of our own nature, locked in a certain pattern of behavior. I could no sooner change the path that I've been placed upon than I could stop a swallow from migrating or a salmon from spawning. So it is written. So it shall pass. Quoth the Raven, nevermore."

Bill Goldberg beats Scotty Riggs. (This is the first match in which Goldberg comes out to the entrance that he will best be known for, which was originally used by other former WCW talents, including former Bad Company member Pat Tanaka.) Raven, Perry Saturn, and an unknown man who is just as grungy-looking as the other two are seen in the front row before the match. We learn that Goldberg's finisher, which he has used to finish off his first three opponents, is known as the Jackhammer.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Before the next match, Scott Hall and Syxx show up, the latter wearing Kevin Nash's half of the tag team titles as per "Wolfpack Rules." Scott Hall says WCW is acting real tough with a hand-picked referee in "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko and Lex Luger together, saying they couldn't beat him on their best night. He also says that The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) have challenged them knowing that Kevin Nash is at home from knee surgery, but being the working men they are, they will still defend the tag titles against The Steiners.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat The Wolfpack (Scott Hall and Syxx, with the latter replacing Kevin Nash due to "Wolfpack Rules") for the WCW World Tag Team Championships after Scott Hall drags the referee out of the ring and knocks him out only to be distracted by "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko. Zbyszko counts the pinfall for The Steiner Brothers to take the tag titles away from the nWo.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Before the next match, it is announced that "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko is an assigned official at World Championship Wrestling and The Steiner Brothers' (Rick and Scott Steiner) tag team title win is official, and that if Eric Bischoff - who no longer has the power to instantly reverse such decisions - wants to challenge the results, he will have to go through Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Dean Malenko beats Rey Mysterio Jr. after Eddie Guerrero shows up and rips Rey's mask off his face.

Diamond Dallas Page says he doesn't know what success is as he hasn't reached his goals in or out of the ring. He doesn't measure his goals the way other people due, including "the Hogans and the Savages," like how big his house is or how expensive his car is. He and Kimberly live in the same house, he still hangs out with the same guys and he still works out at the Power Plant to keep his edge. He's the same person, only more focused, as he can't afford not to be more focused. He has respect for what Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has done as Interim WCW Commissioner, noting he has a lot of his plate and that he appreciates what he did for him last week as it could have gotten ugly. He mentions the rules for his match against "Macho Man" Randy Savage at Halloween Havoc, saying "no rules" makes a man think as he knows what a savage Savage is and how much he hates him. More than anything, he knows how much he's going to be hurting after the match. He would be lying if he wasn't the least bit nervous, but it keeps him coming back to the Power Plant as it keeps him focused and reminded of where he comes from. He is not looking past Halloween Havoc as he cannot afford a negative thought in his head, as negative breeds negative and positive breeds positive. Halloween Havoc is the only thing he can afford to think about.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper again. On the subject of the tag team title match from earlier tonight, "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko has been sanctioned as a referee for Halloween Havoc, and the decision for that match stands. He knows that the nWo says tradition bites, and tells them reality bites, too before screaming "Hail the Steiners!" He says that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan are getting ready for the cage match of the century as Eric Bischoff and "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up. Bischoff confronts Piper, calling him an "interim junior wanna-be commissioner" and that he will pay for "the felonious assault that he was an accomplice in" to Savage last week as he tells him he couldn't fill his slippers. He also demands that Hogan be given the World title back and The Wolfpack (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Syxx) be given the tag team titles back. Piper immediately goes into battle mode, wrapping his belt around his fist, but Konnan, Buff Bagwell, Vincent and Scott Norton show up to outnumber him. All of a sudden, a man in a Sting mask and brown wig slowly walks to the ring only to strike Piper with his baseball bat before taking the mask off to reveal it was Hogan in disguise all along. The nWo then gang up on Piper.

We see a video package for "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Curt Hennig for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship at Halloween Havoc.

Scott Norton beats Ray Traylor after Vincent distracts referee Mickey Jay and Buff Bagwell hands Norton a can of spray paint to use as a weapon. During the match, Billy Kidman shows up with a grungier look and joins Raven, Perry Saturn and the as-of-yet unnamed third man in the front row. After the match, Bagwell, Norton and Vincent stomp on Ray Traylor before Norton spray paints "nWo" on Traylor's back.

Disco Inferno reverses a roll-up and grabs the tights to retain the WCW World Television Championship against Alex Wright despite the distraction from Jacqueline.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Diamond Dallas Page beats Curt Hennig for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship...or does he? During the match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair tries to get involved in the match but is stopped by WCW security. He somehow manages to get his hands on Hennig just as referee Randy Anderson counts three and chases him out of the ring.

Interim WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and referee Randy Anderson return with the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, and Diamond Dallas Page is awarded the win. and the nWo rushes in to attack both Page and Piper, with Eric Bischoff joining in on the fun last. "Macho Man' Randy Savage hits Page with a top rope elbow drop, revealing that his neck is not hurt. Sting is also seen in the audience at the end of the show, but it is revealed to be yet another man in a Sting mask, followed by another...and another...and another. Multiple people dressed as Sting approach the ring, and they are all attacked by the nWo, and as they get beat up, more and more men dressed as Sting show up, but one of them is the real one underneath a Sting match, much to the surprise of The New World Order. He hands Piper the WCW WOrld Heavyweight Championship as the nWo runs out of the ring.
