Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for October 30, 1993

We see highlights from the "Savage-Crush Summit" on Raw, where Crush and "Macho Man" Randy Savage shake hands only for Crush to turn on Savage.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat The Executioners (Pain and Agony).

Lex Luger says The All-Americans (Luger, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner) have never been more ready than they are right now for Survivor Series. Tatanka, who is not here, has a match later tonight, as do The Steiner Brohthers (Rick and Scott Steiner), who are. Scott tells The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, Jacques, Pierre) to pay attention later on, as they have never been more psyched and focused than they are right now. Rick says it will get wild and crazy in the dog pound. They are gladiators, which makes them survivors, and they will be survivors at Survivor Series. Luger says Ludvig Borga has said that he will start eliminating people this week, and they will be watching each others backs as they will be the ones to survive.

Bam Bam Bigelow is on his way to the ring when Doink is on the video screen with two buckets in his hands. One is for Bam Bam; the other is for Luna Vachon. He says the biggest surprise at all is that at Survivor Series, he will see four buckets. He then disappears.

Bam Bam Bigelow quickly beats Tim McNeany. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws a road map to Survivor Series on the veins on the side of Luna Vachon's face.

Joe Fowler advertises a show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, November 27th with four main events. The Undertaker takes on Yokozuna in a Casket Match, Doink the Clown will face "The King" Jerry Lawler, The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), and Razor Ramon will defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Diesel. Razor and Diesel are interviewed for Face To Face. Razor tells Diesel that he is coming to the Garden and this will be as high as he will go. Last time, Diesel tried to make a name for himself and failed. This time, Razor will bring all his gold, and if Diesel wants it after shining it for Shawn Michaels, he will have to go through him. Diesel tells Razor that when he leaves the ring that night, he will leave four or five pounds lighter as talk is cheap. Razor tells Diesel that if he wants to fight, he will fight, but if he wants to wrestle, he'll do that, too. Either way, the Intercontinental Championship will still be his.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Bert Centeno and Chris Duffy. During the match, Quebecer Jacques tells The Steiners that they will never digest the beating they gave them for the tag titles, and next week, he will give Rick Steiner a personal beating he will never forget.

Razor Ramon is seen advertising Acclaim's Dual Turbo wireless controllers - currently available at K-Mart - for the Sega Genesis will playing Royal Rumble. You can also register for a trip to see Royal Rumble live at K-Mart.

The Heavenly Bodies ("Doctor" Tom Prichard and "Gigolo" Delrey) beat P.J. Walker and Mark Thomas. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson), who say The Heavenly Bodies are the best team Jim Cornette has ever managed. They may be in the WWF in a non-sanctioned match, but they want the Smoky Mountain tag team titles at Survivor Series.

On the Survivor Series Report, the non-sanctioned match for the Smoky Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships between The Heavenly Bodies ("Doctor" Tom Prichard and "Gigolo" Delrey) and defending champions The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) is made official for the event. We then hear from Ray Combs, host of Family Feud, who says that we will not see a feud between The Hart Family (Bret "Hit Man" Hart, "The Rocket" Owen Hart, Bruce Hart, Keith Hart) and The King's Knights ("The King" Jerry Lawler, The Red Knight, The Blue Knight, The Black Knight).

Before the next match, Ludvig Borga, who says that Tatanka represents all Americans, and in a few minutes, he will not only beat Tatanka, he will destroy him.

In a battle of the undefeated, Ludvig Borga beats Tatanka to end his undefeated streak once and for all, but not without controversy. During the match, Mr. Fuji shows up and waves his Japanese flag at ringside. After the commercial break, Ludvig Borga tosses tosses Tatanka over the top rope, and as Mr. Fuji distracts the referee, Ludvig Borga smashes the back of Tatanka's head with a steel chair, knocking him out. Borga then rolls an unconscious Tatanka back into the ring and pins him with one finger. After the match, Yokozuna shows up and joins Ludvig Borga in the ring, then both men bow to each other before Yokozuna hits Tatanka with the Banzai Drop as Ludvig Borga holds Tatanka down.Suddenly, Lex Luger is seen fighting off The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) before running towards the ring. The Quebecers catch up with Luger and pummel him as officials and referees try to restore order. Luger manages to slip ast the officials and goes at it with both Ludvig Borga and Yokozuna, cleaning house before covering Tatanka. Lex Luger screams for medical help as Tatanka is in pain.

Joe Fowler re-advertises the show at Madison Square Garden. He then interviews The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) and Johnny Polo for Face To Face. Johnny Polo says he is so nauseous from the fans saying they didn't beat The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and that they are trying to duck The Steiners. On November 27th, The Steiners will get their shot, and if The Steiners beat The Quebecers, they will become the WWF Tag Team Champions. Johnny Polo says that will not happen however, as The Quebecers are the number one team in the sport today. Jacques congratulates Joe Fowler on his Halloween mask, then says The Quebecers are so hot Pat Riley is combing his hair like them. He says they have taken The Steiner Brothers seriously since they first met, and they will take them more seriously when they leave Madison Square Garden with the tag team titles.

We see footage of officials, referees and Lex Luger taking Tatanka out on a stretcher. It is reported that The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) were unable to help as they were padlocked in their dressing room and were just released.

Johnny Polo makes fun of the match between The 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty happening next, saying he could beat both of them with both arms tied behind his back despite being a manager.

The 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Janetty fight to a double-count out after the ref is unintentionally knocked out and The Kid misses a dive over the top rope. During the match, Johnny Polo shows up and trips both of them on separate occasions, and after the match, Jannetty gets his revenge by tossing Polo into the ring so he and The Kid can beat him up.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for October 23, 1993

Doink shows up on a scooter before the next match.

Doink beats Barry Horowitz, then heads back to the back on his scooter.

Jim Cornette is seen with The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, Jacques, Pierre, Johnny Polo, Mr. Fuji), putting the team on a pedestal before saying that The All-Americans (Lex Luger, Tatanka, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner) won't be able to stand up to them as they have an international flavor that is coming at them. Ludvig Borga says his beef is with Luger, and tells him to cash his last check as this will be his last match in the WWF after he breaks his back and ends his career. Yokozuna says something in Japanese.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart tells "The King" Jerry Lawler that he will bring knights into the ring and step up against his family in a family feud. He and his brothers all hate Lawler's guts, and Lawler will pay severely for everything he has said about his family when he and his brothers give a new meaning to the term "Hart attack."

Bastion Booger beats Ray Roy.

Joe Fowler advertises a show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for next Friday night with a quadruple main event. Fowler then interviews the team of Irwin R. Schyster and Diesel and the team of Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect for Face To Face. I.R.S. tells Razor and Perfect that he is not a fool, because Diesel gave Razor 18 stitches the last time they were in the Nassau Coliseum. He then says it is his turn, because nobody makes a fool out of him on national television. Razor tells I.R.S. he got eaten at Raw, and he had hiss hot in the Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal, and Mr. Perfect interjects that he tossed Diesel out of the ring during that battle royal. Razor says all the talk ends on Frinday night when they settle the score. Diesel says last time, he left them laying like a couple of punks, and this time they will do audit and Razor and Mr. Perfect will be paying the penalty. Perfect tells Diesel that he is going down, and tells I.R.S. not to hang out with trash as he will be thrown out with it.

Ludvig Borga vs. Tatanka: next week on Superstars!

Before the next match, Irwin R. Schsyter calls the ring announcer a run-of-the-mill tax cheat for deducting $800 off his tuxedo and making a $3,000 write-off for his toupee. He calls the crowd tax cheats who use the system and cheat on their taxes because that is all they know.

Irwin R. Schyster beats Ken Garrison.

The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) beat Flex Armstrong and Richie Rich. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Jim Cornette, who says that for the last ten years, The Rock 'n Roll Express have defeated every tag team he has managed. They may be the Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Champions, but The Heavenly Bodies ("Doctor" Tom Prichard and "Gigolo" Jimmy Delrey rule Smoky Mountain Wrestling and will soon rule the World Wrestling Federation. He says that while the Express may feel jealously, all he and the Heavenly Bodies feel is hatred.

We se Jeff Jarrett in Nashville, Tennessee. He is here today at Buddy Lee Attractions, the premiere talent agency in the city, as they will not give him a break as he is not from outside of Nashville. He says that Willie Nelson cannot "carry a tune in a bucket" who is "a stranger to music." He then says he has the greatest voice and claims he is the world's greatest singer and wrestler, and says he will prove it to the stars of the WWF. After he is finished using the WWF, he will come back to Buddy Lee Attractions, and Buddy Lee will crawl on his knees and plead and beg for him to sign the dotted line so he can say he signed him.

Diesel beats Ralph Mosca.

Two new matches are made for Survivor Series: The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu), Bastion Booger and Bam Bam Bigelow square off against four Doinks in a Traditional Survivor Series 4-on-4 Match. Bam Bam Bigelow says it started with one Doink, then there were two, then there were three, and now there are four. At Survivor Series, there will be no clowning around, and they are going down. Also, Mr. Perfect, The 1-2-3 Kid, Razor Ramon and Mart Jannetty will take on Irwin R. Schyster, Adam Bomb, "The Model" Rick Martel and Diesel in a Traditional Survivor Series 4-on-4 Match.

Razor Ramon beats Tony DeVito. After the match, Irwin R. Schyster, Adam Bomb, "The Model" Rick Martel and Diesel show up, but Marty Jannetty, The 1-2-3 Kid and Mr. Perfect get in the ring to back Razor up.

Joe Fowler re-advertises the show at Nassau Coliseum. He then interviews Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga for Face To Face. Luger says it has been a long wait, but he finally gets Ludvig Borga in the ring after all the disparaging remarks about him and America, and now he can see if he can back it up in the ring when he cleans the garbage up in Nassau Coliseum. Ludvig Borga says that Luger is right about taking out the garbage, as he is the "garbage driver" of America. This Friday night, he will show all the Americans what their hero is all about. When he is through with him, his hero role will be played out and he will end his career. Luger says Ludvig will see what Ameria and the top competition in the WWF is all about on Friday night.

Next week: The Smoking Gunns (! Bam Bam Bigelow! The Steiner Brothers! Ludvig Borga vs. Tatanka!

Ludvig Borga tells Tatanka that next week, they will meet in the ring. He says that being undefeated and being a Native American means that Tatanka represents all Americans, and that is why he will not just beat him, but end his career.

Also next week: footage from the incident between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Crush from Raw!

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 18, 1993

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat P.J. Walker and Tony DeVito. During the match, Vince McMahon keeps calling P.J. Walker "Cory Student."

The fans get a chance to vote by phone on whether WWF President Jack Tunney should lift Shawn Michaels' suspension. Doink and Mr. Perfect argue over whether Michaels should be brought back, with Doink telling people to vote "Yes" and Mr. Perfect telling people to vote "No."

Irwin R. Schyster beats Scott Taylor.

Tatanka beats "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

Survivor Series has sold out in one hour this year despite no matches being announced. That's changed with the All-Americans (Tatanka, Rick and Scott Steiner and team captain Lex Luger) vs. The Foreign Fanatics (Ludvi Borga, Jacques and Pierre of the Quebecers and team captain Yokozuna) being announced as the traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series main event for this year. Bret Hart (Bret Owen, Bruce and Keith Hart) will take "The King" Jerry Lawler and "his knights," whose identities have yet to be announced. Family Feud host Ray Combs will also be on hand at the show.

Crush has arrived in the arena, and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan escorts him in. It is noted that Crush now has a mustache and goatee.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Dennis Diamond.

Diesel makes another plea to get Shawn Michaels' suspension lifted by tricking people into voting "yes."

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan hosts the "Crush-Savage Summit." Crush shows up first, and he shows up with Mr. Fuji. Crush says that Savage couldn't handle Crush being higher on the food chain than him, and that Savage didn't have his back when he faced Yokozuna only to be hit by four Banzai Drops, and that Savage wanted him out of the WWF. After saying that Mr. Fuji's word is gold to him and not Savage's, he tells Savage to stay out of his life. Savage gets in the ring and tells Crush to give him a chance to talk it out with him, but Crush says it's too late as Savage tells him to shake his hand so they can work it out. Heenan tells him not to shake hands, but Crush pushes him aside and tells him to shut up. After much hesitation, Crush and Savage shake hands. As they leave the ring, however, Crush double-crosses Savage and viciously attacks him, and Crush's heel turn is complete. Yokozuna and Jim Cornette show up as officials check on Savage. Yokozuna and Crush bow to one another, then they both bow to Fuji. The officials have to keep Crush and Savage separated as Crush tries to attack Savage again, this time with the Cranium Crusher. He then tosses Savage into the ring, and Crush finishes Savage off with a super-kick before leaving him to the mercy of a Banzai Drop from Yokozuna. Savage is pulled out of the ring by officials before Yokozuna can go for a second one.

Randy Savage has suffered a lacerated tongue at the hands of Crush.

64% of callers have voted that Shawn Michaels' suspension should not be lifted by WWF President Jack Tunney.

Next week: Diesel! The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Marty Jannetty! Ludvig Borga! Crush!

We see footage from during the break where Tatanka and Ludvig Borga have a brief confrontation backstage.

Ludvig Borga beats Tony Roy with the Torture Rack.

Joe Fowler advertises a show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for Friday night, October 29th with a quadruple main event. Schyster and Diesel, Marty Jannetty will be taking on "The Model" Rick Martel, and The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn). Razor Ramon says you can see the scar that Diesel left on him last time they were in Nassau Coliseum, and talks about how Mr. Perfect came out only to be hit with a cheap shot. He says that this time, things will be different. Diesel says his right hand will do the talking, and Mr. Perfect says he has seen guys like Diesel come and go in the WWF, and now he is standing next to Razor Ramon. Diesel will be looking at both him and Razor, and Mr. Perfect makes it clear that Diesel is the man that he wants after what he did to The 1-2-3 Kid. Irwin R. Schyster says Mr. Perfect has the wrong person on his back, and he will pay for it in Nassau Coliseum.

Pat Tanaka pays homage to Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji in footage from earlier today.

The 1-2-3 Kid beats Pat Tanaka.

"The Rocket" Owen hart beats Scott Taylor. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws a toiler on a still of

We get a look at "Double J" Jeff Jarrett, who is in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. He was born into a wrestling family, and he was predestined to become the greatest wrestler of all-time, but he is coming to WWF to not only prove that, but to prove he is the greatest country singer of all time, as he has more talent, stage presence and charisma than anyone else. However, he has yet to get noticed in the country music business due to the fact that he is from Nashville and due to the corrupt politics in the business. He plans to use the WWF to get noticed, and the country music business will come crawling to him, begging him to sign a contract. When that happens, the sign for the Country Music Hall of Fame will be replaced with a statue of himself and the Hall of Fame itself will be a shrine dedicated to him.

In a rare twist, Jerry Seavey and Mike Davis beat The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) by disqualification after Pierre pulls Mike Davis out of a pinfall, even though Davis was never officially part of the match. After the match, The Quebecers viciously attack Seavey and Davis, much to the delight of Johnny Polo.

Lex Luger is on the cover of the newest issue of WWF Magazine available now, and his match against Yokozuna at SummerSlam is covered inside.

Joe Fowler re-advertises the show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for Friday night, October 29th. Fowler then interviews Bret "Hit Man" Hart and "The King" Jerry Lawler for Face To Face. Bret calls Lawler "scum," and says Lawler never beat anybody to become king. As far as SummerSlam, he did not lose anything and Lawler got stretchered out. At Nassau Coliseum, he will make Lawler pay for what he did to him and his family, and he will prove that Lawler is no king. Lawler says Bret's mouth is making promises his body cannot keep, and he finds it fitting that their grudge match is happening at Nassaum Coliseum "where all the losers congregate." He says this match will take place close to Halloween, when his mother "can come out of the house and look normal," and he wants him to bring his mother to the match to see him lose.

Next week: Highlight from "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Crush on next week's R! Doink! Irwin R. Schsyter! The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson)! Diesel! Razor Ramon!

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for October 9, 1993

Men on a Mission (Mabel and Mo) beat Damien Demento and Rock Werner.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart says hearing that "The King" Jerry Lawler is the undisputed king of the WWF makes him sick, especially when he had him in the Sharpshooter for two-and-a-half minutes and came just short of ending his career. He can make one promise right now: if he can make a promise right now, it will be that if he gets in the ring with Lawler again, it will be the end of him.

Adam Bomb beats Mitch Bishop.

Lex Luger is on the cover on the newest issue of WWF Magazine on newsstands this Tuesday, and inside is an article on Adam Bomb.

Fowler then interviews Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga for Face To Face. Despite his anti-American rhetoric, Lex Luger admit that Ludvig Borga has racked up quite the record, but he is now at the top of the World Wrestling Federation, where it doesn't get any keener or stiffer. He is glad to be the first one in line to give him a big U.S.A. welcome to the World Wrestling Federation and show him what competition is all about. Ludvig says he will give him a European farewell for his career, because if this is the top of the ladder, then he is not impressed with the WWF, Luger or America. When he pins him, he will stay down.

We see highlights of last week's Intercontinental Championship battle royal from Raw.

Mr. Perfect beats Red Tyler (whose tights are a tad small and make for a few posterior jokes on commentary).

Boni Blackstone interviews Bam Bam Bigelow and Luna Vachon. Bam Bam says there was nothing funny about last week, and says "The King" Jerry Lawler was right was about Doink. He let the confetti bucket prank slide the first two times, but the third time, he dumped water on Luna's head. He says that hearing Doink's name drives him crazy as Luna is in a frenzy. Bam Bam says he will make him pay for his pranks and humiliating him and Luna, and when he gets done with him, Doink will wish he was back in the circus on top of a tightrope.

He then interviews The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre, with Johnny Polo) and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) for Face To Face. Polo says the Smoking Gunns are rugged, but The Quebecers do not think much of them. Bart Gunn says The Quebecers do a lot of talking, but they do their talking in the ring, and Billy Gunn tells them that that they will become the tag team champs on the first shot just like The Quebecers did. Polo says The Gunns are climbing the ladder, while they are the top of the ladder and they will stay there after October 29th.

Next week: Two of the main events for Survivor Series are revealed! The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre)! The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Pat Tanaka! Ludvig Borga! Highlights from the Intercontinental Championship match on next Monday's Raw!

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Chad Miller and Tom Bennett. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws suspenders on Scott Stiener and a Doink The Clown face on Rick Steiner with the Magistrator.

It is reported that Shawn Michaels has been suspended and stripped of the WWF Intercontinental Championship for failing to appear for a number of Intercontinental Championship defenses and fulfilling contractual obligations as per the office of WWF President Jack Tunney. (In reality, Shawn Michaels has been suspended for allegedly testing positive for steroids.) Schyster and Diesel. Fowler then interviews Bret and Lawler for Face To Face. Bret says he would like to know Lawler has beaten to call himself a king, especially after he was stretchered out of SummerSlam when he nearly snapped him in half. He hates his guts, and looks forward to a rematch and to obliterating Lawler at the Nassau Coliseum. Lawler says he is not scared, and if hate was written on every grain of sand on the Sahara enough, it wouldn't be enough to express the hate he has for Bret and his family. He tells Bret to bring the family down to the Nassau Coliseum so they can see who the one and only undisputed king of the World Wrestling Federation is.

Before the next match, Irwin R. Schyster says it is a well-known fact that the state of Michigan has a big problem with tax evaders, and he says tax evaders. He tells the fans to have a receipt for every deduction they are claiming, or else they will be going to jail, too.

Irwin R. Schyster beats Gary Jackson.

The Undertaker tells you that if you are using drugs, you are digging your own grave. There is no hope with dope.

Bam Bam Bigelow Rod Bell.

Doink shows up with two buckets as Bam Bam Bigelow and Luna Vachon make their way to the back. Doink puts one bucket down and threatens to douse Bam Bam with water, but the bucket is actually full of confetti. Bam Bam Bigelow gets angry and threatens to rip his head off. Doink picks the other one up, but Luna grabs Doink and yells at him. Doink dumps the other bucket, which is full of water, on Luna, then runs into the ring. Bam Bam comes back, and he and Luna run into the ring. Doink slips out and trips Bam Bam as soon as he turns his back. Bam Bam then chases Doink all over the ring. Doink goes underneath the ring as Doink's potential opponent checks on Luna, and Bam Bam Bigelow crawls underneath the ring, then notices what is going on in the ring and beats the man up. Doink is then noticed tying a wire between two guardrails before grabbing a broom out from underneath the ring and hitting him with it. Bam Bam chases after Doink only to trip on the wire.
