If Briggs and Jensen win tonight, the NXT Tag Team Championship match at Stand & Deliver will be a Fatal 4-Way, much to the chagrin of Fallon Henley.

Tyler Bate beats Von Wagner after wiping out Mr. Stone with a somersault senton over the top rope after Thea Hail attacks Mr. Stone for trying to yank Tyler out of the ring on the outside. After the match, we see a message from The Schism inside Chase University where they state that The Schism will take over after Chase University falls and that a new class will begin.

Roxanne says that wanting to be champion and being champion are two different things, and admits that she suffers from anxiety, and wonders if she has peaked at 21 years old. Shawn says that Roxanne may not be ready physically, but not mentally. Roxanne says her anxiety may be crippling, but she cannot run away from it and must face it head on by climbing the ladder for the title she never lost. On the way there, he takes the contract for his unsanctioned match with Johnny Gargano from Vic Joseph at the announce table and says he will not be responsible for what happens to Gargano. Grayson Waller looks at the contract and says that he is the real main event, and that this match is "a full circle moment" after trying to connect with the fans and make his way to the top, and says his elbow drop from the top of the cage at WarGames was not a viral moment because everyone talked about Gargano, and that it was not until he attacked Gargano and sent him home while he went to the top. Waller says that one must bet on themselves in this business and that nobody has bet on themselves more than himself, and that Gargano is begging him to kick his ass at Stand & Deliver because he is his golden ticket. He says that Gargano may be "Mr. NXT," but just like Shawn Michaels, he will lose at Stand & Deliver after he used Gargano to put himself on the map fifteen months ago.
