In footage from after last week's Dynamite, Jon Moxley says last week's match tasted like victory as well as life, as his life is about living to the fullest, for he is a sick man and he likes this. He says this is nothing to be proud of or aspire to, and that he lives for this. He says he is not the kind of guy to go in a dark alley with, as only one guy is coming out and it is him. He says he tried to leave it alone after they both beat each other, but Adam Page was praised while he got nothing. As he continues to bleed on the stairwell, Moxley says he will leave no doubt, and while Page is a great wrestler and a great man, he is not the same animal as him. He says there is only room for one animal like him in AEW, and he will die to protect what is his.
The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) head to the ring, but the lights soon go out, and The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) are seen behind them when they come back on. The lights go out a second time, and The House of Black attack The Elite. They then hold the trios titles when the lights come on again as The Elite are left laying on the floor.
Samoa Joe guests on commentary for the next match.
Powerhouse Hobbs beats AR Fox, Action Andretti, Sammy Guevara, Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, Komander and Konosuke Takeshita in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. After the match, Hobbs and Samoa Joe have a confrontation, and when Wardlow shows up, security stands between him and Joe only to get levelled. Meanwhile, Hobbs sits on a chair and watches.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Orange Cassidy, Danhausen). Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta are out of the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal, but Danhausen says he and Orange Cassidy are in. When asked if he is up to it, Orange says "I don't care."
Chris Jericho beats "Pretty" Peter Avalon. After the match, Chris Jericho grabs his baseball bat and nails Peter Avalon in the forehead with it before hammering him with it. Suddenly, "Absolute" Ricky Starks runs in and watches his back on the way before running Jericho out of the ring. Jericho says that on Sunday, he will beat the hell out of him one-on-one, and that just because The Jericho Appreciation Society are barred from ringside that night does not mean they are here tonight. Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia gang up on Starks and tear his clothes as they attack him, then Jericho hits Starks with the Judas Effect.
We hear from "Hangman" Adam Page. He says that his Texas Death Match with Jon Moxley is all he has left to lose, as Moxley cannot take his friends, his memory, the feeling in the tips of his fingers or his heart. Instead, he will take everything from Moxley. He says he will take Moxley's spot at the table and his bloodlust, and while he is not the same animal as Moxley as he hates violence to his score, he will be the most violent person Moxley has ever seen as it is what he must due to beat him. Page says that after Sunday, Moxley will never be the same.
Renee Paquette interviews Christian Cage in the ring. Christian says that for the better part of the last six month, he has embarrassed "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and that he was done with him until Jungle Boy stated that he would win a singles championship in 2023. He says that this will happen "over [his] dead body," as he will win a singles title in 2023 this year and that is a fact. He then wants to know if Jungle Boy wants to win a title or beat somebody for their title, as he hesitated during the Con-Chair-To attempt last week. After Christian brags that he responded by taking advantage of that hesitation by leaving Jungle Boy lying "in [his] own blood and piss," he says that his problem with Jungle Boy and his whole generation is that they treat his business like a video game. He says that Jungle Boy is "one-in-a-million" while he is "one of one," and while Jungle Boy treats his business like a video game, he treats it like an ATM and he wants to bleed it dry. Christian then challenges Jungle Boy not to a wrestling match, but a fight, at Revolution, and if Jungle Boy shows up, he is just his father's son, as like his father, he is a no-talent hack whose looks will get him through life. He says that Jungle Boy does not have an ounce of what it takes like he does, then the lights go out. The video screen then shows Jungle Boy digging a grave intercut with what has happened between him and Christian as Jungle Boy sheds a tear. We then see a tombstone with the words "Christian Cage" on it. Christian has no words.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Jamie Hayter. Hayter says she cannot tell if it is sweeter to beat "one bitch or two," and Britt says Saraya can watch two former champions duke it out as she will never be women's champion. Hayter then says that Britt will be at tonight's match and that they will be keeping a watch for Saraya.
We hear from The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart). Malakai says the greatest enemy is not composed of flesh, but of fear that eats away. He says that on Sunday, The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) have already lost. The House of Black then lays down the trios titles on the ground, then Julia Hart says "See you at Revolution."
Riho beats Toni Storm. After the match, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter brawl with Toni Storm and Saraya, then Ruby Soho shows up, grabs Saraya and punches her before brawling with Jamie Hayter. Security have to break up the three-way brawl.
Backstage, we hear from Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes. Keith Lee says this is more than what The Mogul Affiliates have done to them, but to others. Dustin says that darkness has fallen and that this Friday, The Mogul Affiliates will learn that they do not like to play games, for they are "Naturally Limitless."
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Danhausen) last eliminate The Butcher and The Blade to win the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal and go on to the four-way tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution. After the match, Danhausen and Orange are attacked from behind by Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal as The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) approach the ring, then The Acclaimed rush in and take out Lethal and Jarrett.
We see a video package for "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. MJF for the AEW World Championship in a 60-minute Iron Man Match at Revolution.
Renee Paquette interviews "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in the ring. Renee brings up a social media post MJF made back in 2014 when MJF dropped out of college to become a professional wrestler. Danielson talks about how he was forced to retire, and how he said that if you fight for your dreams, your dreams will fight for you. MJF arrives, and Danielson tells MJF to shut up for once in his life and says MJF hates him because he has everything he has yet has done nothing to earn them, much less fight for them, and has taken every shortcut for a world title he has not fought for. Danielson then says that the only thing MJF deserves is his fiancée leaving him, then says MJF has been born with a silver spoon in his mouth while he has fought for everything. He says that before he came here, he had a job that would have paid him for the rest of his life, but he came to AEW because he wanted to fight, and that new dream is to become AEW World Champion, which he is willing to fight for. Danielson tells MJF to come to Revolution to fight with everything he has for 60 full minutes, because if he does not, he is going to get "[his] fucking head kicked in." A stunned MJF silently leaves as the show comes to an end.
