Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 22, 2023

The show starts with Brandon Cutler getting in the back of an ambulance as "Hangman" Adam Page makes a phone call. It is announced that Matt and Nick Jackson have been attacked as Nick is put in an ambulance, and Page joins Nick on the way to the hospital. Meanwhile, Don Callis has to reason with Kenny Omega.

Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and Sting beat Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade in a trios match.

We see a video package for Darby Allin vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry vs. Sammy Guevara vs. MJF for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing.

We see a video package for Kenny Omega vs. El Hijo del Vikingo later tonight.

The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) after The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) attack Darius Martin. After the match, Top Flight attack The Kingdom and chase them through the crowd. After that, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) shows up, and Colten Gunn tells FTR that nobody wants to hear their music or see them before, then refuses to let them talk as he mentions that The Gunns do not like them before calling them losers for losing to them and losing three tag team titles. Colten says there is nothing FTR can offer them to get another tag team title shot, but Dax Harwood tells them that if The Gunns beat them for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, FTR will leave AEW. Austin Gunn accepts. Both teams go for the handshake, then The Gunns spit in FTR's faces.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Jade Cargill, Leila Grey and "Smart" Mark Sterling. Jade takes offense to Taya Valkyrie showing up after the open challenge to Canada was over, and Sterling produces a cease and desist order keeping Taya from using the Road to Valhalla, which is the same as Jaded, which Jade claims ownership of. Leila Grey then says that she will deliver the cease and desist order to Taya personally, as she has a few words for her.

Before the next match, Stokely Hathaway announces that he is not medically cleared to compete and that he is also retiring today, then thanks his fans before giving ring announcer Justin Roberts a doctor's note, which is really a WingStop receipt with the words "HE IS SICK!" scribbled on it. Referee Bryce Remsburg rips up the receipt, then Stokley tries to run away from Hook only for Hook to chase after him in the crowd. Hook gets his hands on him and gets back to the ring, and it is not long before Hook goes to work.

Hook beats Stokely Hathaway with Redrum in a no-disqualification match.

Hip-hop artist Tech N9ne is seen in the crowd.

Adam Cole heads to the ring. After announcing that his in-ring return is seven days away, Adam Cole admits that he feels "freaking great" and that he has never been more ready to get in the ring doing what he loves for AEW. He then brings up who his opponent could be next week, then Daniel Garcia suddenly shows up and proclaims he has become a real AEW veteran and has become so respected that he is now a locker room leader. He says that as locker room leader, he is here to welcome Cole back and put him in his place, then brags about the opponents he has beaten in the last nine months and the main events he has been in, then accidentally calls himself a wrestler before correcting himself and asking what makes Cole special. Cole says his wrestling makes him special, and while Garcia will one day lead the charge in AEW, The Jericho Appreciation Society has put Garcia in a false sense of security. Cole mentions being a multiple-time world champion and beating the best around the world, and that he has been wondering if he would ever get a second chance before proclaiming he has found it and challenging Garcia to a match next week. He says next week's match is not just a return, but a statement to the locker room that he is back. Adam Cole then states that next week will be a great night for everyone but Garcia.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Kenny Omega and Don Callis. Callis tells Omega that The Young Bucks going to hospital may be the best thing to happen to them, as Omega has focus, then Callis tells the fans that "The God of Wrestling" is back.

Jon Moxley beats Stu Grayson.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks, who is sick and tired of the back-and-forth talk between himself and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson and wanting to face him on Rampage.

It's time for QTV. The QTV staff talk about Rey Fenix and his match with Powerhouse Hobbs from last week, then mock him and Alex Abrahantes. They also laugh about Aaron Solo stealing Wardlow's identity, then mentions Powerhouse Hobbs' open challenge for the TNT Championship on Rampage, which has been answered by Penta el Zero Miedo.

Toni Storm beats Skye Blue. After the match, The Outcasts are about to spray paint Skye Blue when Willow Nightingale and Riho show up, with the latter carrying a pipe.

Backstage, The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) attacks Stu Grayson as he is receiving medical attention.

Kenny Omega beats El Hijo del Vikingo. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Omega, but he is attacked from behind by The Blackpool Combat Club. As Omega is ganged up on, an ambulance arrives at the arena, and Adam Page gets out of the driver's seat with a 2x4. The Blackpool Combat Club flee the ring as Adam Page gets in. Don Callis grabs at Page, and Callis falls down when Page shoves him away. Omega gets cross as he leaves with Don Callis.
