Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for March 25, 2023

Dustin Starr interviews The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris) at the announce desk. Simon says he hates the fans, but loves being a tag team champion. Mr. Chris says they have heard what Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders had to say and that they will beat them worse than they have ever been beaten before.

The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders in a no-rules match.

Dustin Starr interviews The Circuz (Barnabas the Leader and Maurice the Strong) at the announce desk. Barnabas the Leader says that they have made the main event more fun, as they showcased Maurice the Strong's world-renowned feats of strength, as he is the only one capable of beating "Memphis Wrestling's biggest, baddest hero" K-Toomer. He also says that Maurice the Strong is the strongest man in the land and that K-Toomer was easily eliminted, and that Maurice the Strong demands a match with "The GunShow" Brett Michaels, who soon shows up. Barnabas welcomes Brett Michaels to The Circuz' big top and warns him to be careful what he wishes for, as he just might get it, then announces that Maurice and Brett will square off next week.

Gio Savage and Draco beat Ellsworth Enterprises (Matt Williams and Storybook Prince Gaston).

Dustin Starr interviews Reverend Ash Taylor at the announce desk. He proclaims that what the fans are about to see will inspire, and introduces them to three people who have given the righteous path a chance: Ray Collins, Jennifer Justice and Bulletproof Bruce. He says that Bruce put his faith in the wrong people and was left holding the bag when it came time to pay up. He then mentions that Jennifer Justice tried to make adjustments, but nothing stuck. He also says Taylor states hat Ray Collins thought he found a brotherhood but was left high and dry. Taylor then says they have looked to him for a future, and says that every new member on the righteous path must give. Bruce puts a $100 bill in the plate as Taylor says one must give their selves and their their worldly possessions as part of the righteous path. Justice does the same, but Ray Collins does not, and he drops the collection plate. Jennifer slaps Ray Collins in the face, then Bruce punches Collins and beats him up. Reverend Ash Taylor then kicks Collins in the gut for good measure.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas guests on commentary for the next match.

Tim Bosby retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane. After the match, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas personally hands the Internet Championship to Tim Bosby.
