St. Patrick's Day Slam - Rampage recap for March 17, 2023

Powerhouse Hobbs retains the TNT Championship against Rey Fenix. During the match, it is announced that next week's Rampage will air on Saturday night at 10 PM Eastern/9 PM Central. After the match, Hobbs grabs Alex Abrahantes as he pulls down the straps on his singlet, then Hobbs lets go of Abrahantes before QT Marshall hits Abrahantes with the Diamond Cutter.

We hear from Adam Cole, who says that March 29th will go down as the most important day of his entire life when he returns to in-ring competition after nine months. He says he is looking for someone who will push him and remind him of who he is as he shows how good he is.

We hear from Stu Grayson, who says that he is back after what The Blackpool Combat Club did to Evil Uno, and he wants Jon Moxley in a one-on-one match so he can break him.

Taya Valkyrie beats Ava Lawless in her AEW debut. After the match, Jade Cargill, Leila Grey and "Smart" Mark Sterling are seen watching from the ramp and taking notes.

We see footage of Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy and Ethan Page getting Stokely Hathaway ready for his match with Hook.

The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Magic Daddy" Magic Menard) beat The Bollywood Boyz (Harv and Gurv Sihra), then mock The Acclaimed's ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) scissoring after the match.

In footage from earlier this week, Don Callis is seen welcoming Konosuke Takeshita at the airport as he tries to recruit him.

In footage from last Wednesday, The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) brag about being the tag team champions and tell Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) to carry their bags. The two teams then argue over who is the best brother tag team, and Dante Martin says The Gunns didn't try to valet their tag team titles because they know Top Flight can beat The Gunns. This soon becomes a challenge, and after The Gunns leave, Dante notices that The Gunns left their bags and walk off with them.

Daniel Garcia beats Brody King by submission after Chris Jericho hits Brody King with the baseball bat on the outside.
