Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 30, 2022

Jon Moxley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Moxley talks about how he grew up 90 miles from Indianapolis, Indiana and had his first matches in the city of Indianapolis, then says there are three certainties in this world: death, taxes and Jon Moxley. He says there is nobody who can outwork or outwrestle him and that he is at the top of the food chain, and that the AEW ring belongs to him. Moxley says there is not a man who is willing to look him in the eyes and tell him differently, then "Hangman" Adam Page suddenly shows up. Adam Page has a staredown with Moxley in the middle of the ring, and Moxley asks Page if he is sure he wants to do this after what happened last time. When Moxley asks if he even remembers last time, Page punches him out of the ring and all over ringside. Officials and security quickly move into place to stop the brawl, but Adam Page is briefly able to throw a few punches at Moxley again before he is pushed to the back. Moxley then breaks free, but he trips off the side of the ramp before going at Page. Both men are eventually moved to the back.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Dax Harwood with the Lebell Lock following a series of back-and-forth inside cradle pinfall attempts.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks. Starks announces that he will be in next week's battle royal and makes a judgment call that he will win it because he is coming for everything that MJF has, then says he will prove that he is "Absolute."

Backstage, Jon Moxley and "Hangman" Adam Page brawl again outside of the arena, and officials and security soon have to break up the brawl.

At the AEW soundstage in Nashville, Tennessee, Renee Paquette interviews The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, Daniel Gacia, Jake Hager), Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. After Matt Menard makes a yodeling reference, Claudio Castagnoli says it will mean a lot when he wins the Ring Of Honor World Championship when Jake Hager interrupts him. Claudio then says he is sick and tired of sit-down interviews and that he will beat Chris Jericho and leave. Claudio then says he is sick and tired of sit-down interviews and that he will beat Chris Jericho and leave. Wheeler Yuta then argues with The Jericho Appreication Society, says he and Claudio will have their tag team match with them, then he will beat Daniel Garcia for the ROH Pure title.

Samoa Joe retains the TNT Championship against AR Fox. After the match, Samoa Joe welcomes the fans to a new and glorious era, for he is the one true king of television. Suddenly, Wardlow shows up on the video screen and tells him to enjoy being king, for he is coming for what is his. He then tells Joe that this is his world, not Joe's.

We see another vignette for Powerhouse Hobbs in Oakland, California. Hobbs talks about how all of the experiences he had growing up made him tougher and how he will take back what is his as he intimidates some men playing a dice game and heads to the barber shop.

William Regal heads to the ring as it is announced that Jon Moxley has been removed from arena premises. In the ring, there is a sort of display case with a covering over it. Regal then introduces MJF to the ring, then tells the fans to shut up how his union with Regal came to be. He talks about how Regal sent him an e-mail after The Firm attacked him, and how Regal says he has grown weak when he could be a great villain. Regal said that MJF has potential, but if he wanted to realize it, he would have to grab the brass ring and not the Dynamite Diamond Ring. He then says they have met behind closed doors, and admits that Regal is a genius. MJF also says that using the brass knuckles was Regal's idea, as he wanted to leave an emotional scar when Jon Moxley remembered the day he was outsmarted by MJF. On the subject of The Firm, he admits that he respects them for attacking as soon as they saw a weakness, then says chasing people takes effort that is "for the poors." MJF then address the World title belt, mentioning his promises to replace the old with the new and says the belt makes him gag and needs an upgrade, as it is tacky and lacks class and reminds him of all the previous champions. He admits that they were all talented in their own right, but none of them are on his level. MJF then says the current World title belt design is garbage like the fans as he throws it down, and Regal reveals a brand new belt with a Burberry pattern on the strap. He calls it "The Triple B" - the Big Burberry Belt - and calls it the greatest world championship in all of professional wrestling because he is the man holding it, and says nobody deserves to be recognized as world champion except for him. MJF says that nobody that the fans push for, fake tough guys like Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks and fake wrestlers like "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson will never be champion, especially when Danielson could not wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag. MJF tells Regal that some people cannot be helped, and says that as long as he is in the company, nobody else will know what it is like to be on top, as he will be champion for a long time and at least until "The Bidding War of 2024." He says that he will then use the belt as a bargaining chip to make the most money and make more money than the fans will make in a lifetime, then says no one might win the bidding war as he is tired of looking at the fans and that Hollywood might win. MJF then admits that some people were over the moon when he won the World Championship, then he says their happiness will turn to resentment because they are fickle and will soon get tired of him due to all he does. He says that is great, because the fans will keep tuning in just to see who will take "Triple B" from him as he will wrestle and defend rarely, as he is a special attraction, and that people will have to pay for a pay-per-view to see him win. He says that is great, because the fans will keep tuning in just to see who will take "Triple B" from him as he will wrestle and defend rarely, as he is a special attraction, and that people will have to pay for a pay-per-view to see him win. He then says that he will have a title reign that will make those of the legends seem like nothing, and declares that this is "The Era of MJF" and that his reign of terror has just begun. MJF then thanks Regal for making all of this happen, as Regal has given his blood, sweat and tears to the business before punching him in the back of the head with brass knuckles. MJF reminds Regal that he made a deal with the devil, then tells him that the game has changed and leaves him with the same message to "show me your stuff" from years ago before leaving through the crowd. Doc Samson, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, officials and members of the medical team check on William Regal, who lies motionless in the middle of the ring, and Regal is placed on a board. Regal is then fitted with a neck brace, then taken out on a stretcher.

We see footage of William Regal being placed in an ambulance. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson joins Regal on the ride to the hospital.

Before the next match, Stokely Hathaway, Matt Hardy and "All Ego" Ethan Page show up. Matt Hardy brings attention to himself, then Stokely tells Matt to go to the back before Ethan Page says he will win next week's battle royal after Matt Hardy helps him win the whole thing. He then says that he will be the one to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring and beat "Absolute" Ricky Starks to win it all, assuming Starks makes it to Winter Is Coming. Ariya Daivari hits Ricky Starks with a cheap shot, but Starks hits the Ro-Sham-Bo for the win.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Britt Baker mentions the Pittsburgh Steelers' big win this week, then Jamie Hayter demands she have a sit-down interview after Britt mentions that Saraya has one on Friday.

Willow Nightingale beats Anna Jay A.S. despite the distraction from Tay Melo. After the match, Ruby Soho shows up as Anna Jay A.S. and Tay Melo try to leave. Ruby Soho shows up from behind Tay and beats Tay up, then knocks Anna off the apron. Tay hits Ruby with a forearm, but she takes it like it is nothing and catches up to Tay on the apron to hit her with Destination Unknown on the ramp.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews QT Marshall and Orange Cassidy. Marshall wants a shot at the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, and Orange Cassidy accepts immediately. Marshall then says he wants it in a lumberjack match on Rampage, to which Orange also agrees to before leaving.

The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Leila Grey) show up to the ring for a championship celebration. Jade Cargill says that she made The Baddies and that she decides who stays and who goes, and says that she got rid of the trash in Keira Hogan last week yet wants to know why Red Velvet and Leila Grey were hanging out with her last week. She says standing near her is a blessing and tells her to either get in line or step off, as she is the best wrestler and champion in AEW and she is the star, and that nobody has her star power or her aura. Jade Cargill says that she puts asses in seats and that she wrestles for "bad bitches," and that she is the real deal and she creates careers. As Jade says that Lil' Bow Wow is a joke, Bow Wow shows up on the video screen and says that he is done with touring and has a lot of time on his hands, then says it is on and that he cannot wait.

We hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn. Due to having no match on Friday, The Acclaimed are giving a tag team title shot to the second-best tag team in AEW on Rampage.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) beat Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) to win Match 3 of their best-of-seven series after Matt Jackson gets the knees up on PAC's Black Arrow to stack PAC up for the win. After the match, Dijak says his match was an example of hard justice and undenying annihilation, and that the only thing one will see in his eyes is the infliction of suffering. He says that NXT is a place for refuge, but not from here, and that he is here to "eviscerate a soft society." He says everyone will be brought to his justice.

At the Diamond Dojo earlier today, JD McDonagh tells Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile that The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) are no match for Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga). When The Creed Brothers show up and McDonagh says that to their face, Julius and Creed say they will not back down and will fight fair. Road Dogg picks Carmelo Hayes, Alundra Blayze brings up Tony D'Angelo, X-Pac brings up JD McDonagh, Molly Holly brings up Joe Gacy, and Road Dogg also brings up Von Wagner while X-Pac brings up Axiom. Shawn Michaels then asks everyone to write down a list of five people who should be in the men's Iron Survivor Challenge, and then he will tabulate who will be in the match from there.

Grayson Waller beats Duke Hudson after Hudson nearly hits a big boot on Thea Hail after Waller ducks out of the way.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell reluctantly interviews Javier Bernal. Bernal asks to put everything between them in the past in the spirit of the holiday, then says that tonight is "Big Body Tuesday" and that he has merchandise to sell. Javier Bernal advertises the "Big Body Baseball Bat" - and accidentally calls Aaron Judge "Adam" Judge - the "Big Body Pillow" with his face on it - which already has a trademark on it from someone else, and a "Big Body Cologne" that smells horrible. McKenzie runs away, saying it smells like rotten eggs, then Axiom shows up saying he is medically cleared and has heard that Javier Bernal wants to fight him. McKenzie returns and says that Javier Bernal finally got his wish to face Axiom in a match.

Kiana James beats Fallon Henley after throwing her business bag at her as a distraction.

Backstage, Odyssey Jones and Edris Enofe talk with Malik Blade. Malik Blade says that the sweater Von Wagner tore was originally his father's and the last thing his father gave to him, and that he is angry. Edris Enofe tells Malik to take his anger and get into the "Malik the Freak" mode to beat Von Wagner. Malik asks them to let him handle this himself, as even though Von Wagner made this personal, he wants to finish this on his own terms.

Back in the trainer's room, Nikkita Lyons finds out she is only bruised and that she is medically cleared.

In footage from earlier today, Apollo Crews writes in his journal at the diner when Bron Breakker joins him. Bron Breakker says that it looked like he could not seen beyond Grayson Waller for a while, but Apollo says it was worth the wait. Bron Breakker tells Apollo that when he said that they would run into each other, he believed Apollo. Both men admit that they have spent more time in the gym for their showdown, and Apollo says he is the only guy who can take the NXT Championship from him. Apollo says he has watched all of Bron Breakker's matches, and that after not having the strength advantage against Von Wagner, he will not have one against at all. Nevertheless, both men are convinced that they will be the winner and champion at Deadline.

During the match, Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga) show up to watch from ringside.

JD McDonagh vs. Julius Creed ends when McDonagh goes for a chair shot to Creed's back when Sanga pushes Julius Creed aside and takes the shot instead. McDonagh flees in horror, then Veer Mahaan says they want Julius, not Brutus Creed.

We hear from Alba Fyre, who says that Isla Dawn's NXT debut cost her and that whatever spirit told her that messing with her was a good idea must have it out for her, as it will lead to her ultimate demise. She says that if Isla Dawn wants to have fun, then whatever she will do to her will be anything but fun.

Outside of the arena, Dijak is met by Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. D'Angelo thanks Dijak for softening Wes Lee up, even though Dijak says he is not here to do any favors. D'Angelo says that he is back in the ring next week, and says that he will see that Wes Lee's days as North American Champion are numbered. When Tony D'Angelo asks if they have an understanding, Dijak says "Something like that."

Becky then admits that things have changed since she has been gone and that some familiar faces have come back, and she cannot wait to slap the head off of every single of them. Bayley then shows up and says that Becky Lynch looked "humbled" being out in the crowd with the peasants before telling her to shut up about putting her body on the line for the people, which she has been doing. Becky gets a "Becky" chant started, which caused Bayley to state that she has gotten no respect for four months while the fans chant for Becky after just one match, and says that the fans do not appreciate her as their role model. Becky tells Bayley not to call the fans "peasants," then says the fans do not appreciate Bayley because she lost and keeps losing. She then says that if Bayley wants to fight right now, then they can fight. As Becky decides to get in the ring, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky show up and fight her before she can get back over the barricade. He brags about being Bobby Lashley and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins at the same time on the same night to hold the title for a second time and proclaims that he has arrived and he is the future of Raw. Theory says that ever since he arrived on Raw, everyone has had a problem with him because they are jealous of him and want to be him, while the fans see the inevitable and the unescapable, then proclaims that "The Austin Theory era" begins now. Suddenly, Rollins shows up, and Theory asks Rollins what happens when so young, talented and far ahead of everyone else makes "the undisputed future" look like the past. Rollins says Theory may have lucked his way into the United States Championship, but it does not change the fact that Monday nights belong to him. He then says "Congratulations...kid," then dares Theory to hit and fight him before telling him they can do it right here and right now. He then says "Gimme your best shot, kid," but Theory tells Rollins he will fight him "on the champ's time." He also tells Rollins "...and I'm not your damn kid" before leaving the ring. Rollins laughs.

Rip Fowler says that Thanksgiving has exploded into a ritual of overabundance and gluttony that cannot be contained. Meanwhile, Ava Raine picks a person out of the crowd. Jagger Reid says consumerism has taken over and that people are more concerned about Black Friday deals when they should be concerned about their belief systems. Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 21, 2022

Kevin Owens heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Owens talks about how he joined the men's WarGames Match as the fifth man against The Bloodline, and he did that not because of Sami Zayn, whom he still considers a brother, but because of Roman Reigns. He says it has been two long years since he has faced Roman and that he is going to remind Roman who he is: the guy who took him to the limit three limits and would have ended his Universal title run had it not been for The Bloodline. Owens says he also plans to take out The Bloodline so he can kick Roman's ass and take his title. He then says he was extended an invitation by Sheamus' team on SmackDown and could not turn it down, then says he has returned the favor and is not here alone before The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch) head to the ring through the crowd. Drew McIntyre is right behind as they do so, and the four of them jump the barricade one by one and enter the ring. Sheamus says there is "a banger cookin' in the stove" as Saturday will be one of the biggest matches in WWE history in the men's WarGames Match. Drew McIntyre says he remembers a time before The Bloodline held the titles hostage, then says that everything will change on Saturday as their team is ready to tear The Bloodline apart. Suddenly, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) show up, and Rhea Ripley says the only thing people will be talking about after Saturday is how many women she destroys, then tells Sheamus' team that they are lost and are on the show that they run. Damian Priest says that tonight is not "play night" and to go back to SmackDown. Dominik Mysterio tells Sheamus' team to also say hello to his "deadbeat dad," then Finn Balor says he is here to collect and that he hopes The Bloodline wins. He also says that The Judgment Day will not be so nice if they show up on Raw again. Sheamus tells Finn Balor he does not respect as he is the sort of "plastic patty" that he has come to despite. Finn Balor says even salt looks like sugar and that he is "one salty Irish bastard." Sheamus says he has no problem facing Finn Balor one-on-one, but proposes The Judgment Day face The Brawling Brutes. The Judgment Day accepts. Both teams brawl in the ring, but The Brawling Brutes quickly come out on top.

Kevin Owens guests on commentary for the next match.

The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch) beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio). During the match The O.C. Before the next match, The Miz says he would love to have a rematch, but he injured his right hand while making a TikTok video by slicing his hand through a cactus. He then says the cactus did not survive, but he will and he will beat Dexter Lumis. He then says that since he could not compete and because Johnny Gargano wants to put on a show, he has found a suitable opponent: Omos.

Omos beats Johnny Gargano.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is interviewed. Rollins says he has never felt better despite events from recent weeks, then reminds everyone that he asked for a Triple Threat Match for the United States title because he wanted to kill two birds with one stone. He says that one only survives a wild Bobby Lashley if one is prepared, and that while Austin Theory has lost everything and is more dangerous than ever, he is still the stupidest person on the face of the earth. He then goes on to say that Theory is stupid for jumping him from behind last week and trying to beat him at his own game, which he says does not work well for anyone. He then tells Theory to call Cody Rhodes and ask if picking a fight with him is a good idea, then says that the Triple Threat Match is going to be a war with three men who do not like each other going at it and ready to snap at any second. Rollins says he has dealt with brutes like Lashley and that he knows Theory because he was once like Theory, then asks what Theory and Lashley will do to prepare for him. He then says that regardless, he will walk out as United States Champion. Meanwhile, Theory is watching from backstage. Theory says nobody understands him and that hitting rock bottom is the best thing to happen to him, as he is not the kid he was once and is a new man who will be taken seriously, and after Saturday, the business will know what time it is. He says the disrespect ends here, and anyone who steps up gets sent home. Theory tells Lashley and Rollins to watch what he does to Mustafa Ali tonight, as it is a preview of what will happen at Survivor Series.

Austin Theory beats Mustafa Ali. After the match, Bobby Lashley shows up on the TitanTron and tells Austin Theory to stay in the ring so they can give the fans a preview of Survivor Series. Theory says he would be United States Championship if it were not for Lashley, then says he remembers Brock Lesnar kicking Lashley's ass before Seth Rollins beat Lashley for the title and Lashley lost to Lesnar again. He then says that Lashley is not getting in the ring with the same kid he faced and that he will walk into the ring Saturday and become United States Champion, and that there is nothing Lashley or Rollins can do about it. Lashley then says that there is no way Theory is walking out of the ring tonight before both men brawl. Theory hits Lashley with a chair, but it has no effect, and Theory runs through the crowd to the back while Lashley gives chase. Theory pushes a hurt Ali into Lashley, then Ali hits Lashley thinking Lashley attacked him before Lashley puts him in the Hurt Lock on the stage.

Elias and Matt Riddle beat Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis).

Backstage, JBL and Baron Corbin are playing poker and making fun of Albany, New York when Drew McIntyre shows up. JBL says that Corbin would have beaten McIntyre with him in his corner and that Roman Reigns will get his hands on McIntyre on Saturday. McIntyre then proposes they put that theory to the test and challenges Corbin to a match. Corbin says they can settle things right here, right now, and McIntyre says that he respects his elders, he does not respect Corbin, and hits Corbin with a cheap shot.

Drew McIntyre beats Baron Corbin after Akira Tozawa, now with blonde hair and his previous, non-ninja wrestling gear, shows up, steals JBL's hat and runs through the crowd.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) Styles says that emotions are running high as he and Finn Balor were close, but he has realized that The O.C. is his family and that this must come to an end. He says that he will give Finn Balor the beating he deserves and it will be phenomenal. Finn Balor then shows up and says that he is not the bad guy; he is worse and he is the devil, and when once dances with the devil, one never dances again. The rest of The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) attacks The O.C., starting a backstage brawl. Security shows up as the brawl escalates outside of the arena.

Before the next match, Bianca Belair says that her, Asuka and Alexa Bliss' war with Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky) will come to an end at WarGames, and while she has won the battle, she has not won the war, and she cannot win it alone. She says that her team will win and that Asuka will give them the advantage. Alexa says she is ready for war and ready to throw Bayley in the trash where she belongs. Asuka says they are ready for war, but nobody is ready for them. Bianca says to wait and see who her team's fifth member is, and Asuka says Rhea Ripley is not ready for her. Bianca then says that when she makes her decision this Friday on SmackDown, nobody will be disappointed. Rhea Ripley shows up with Damage CTRL and Nikki Cross, and Bayley says that Bianca's team is either stalling or having a hard time finding somebody else who likes her, as nobody respects Bianca. Bayley brags about what has happened to Mia Yim as well as how Damage CTRL have gotten the upper hand, but Asuka tells her to shut up so that she and Rhea can fight. Rhea Ripley tells Asuka that she will eradicate her.

Rhea Ripley beats Asuka in a WarGames Advantage Match to give her team a one-person advantage in the women's WarGames Match. After the match, both WarGames teams brawl around the ring, then Mia Yim shows up and fights Rhea Ripley. After this, Asuka takes everybody out with a cross body from the top rope. Officials show up to check on everybody, then the show ends with a run-down of the Survivor Series card.
