Christian states that after what happened to Killswitch, he went on the road and into a state of reflection as to why he became who he is now and it reminded him of his and Copeland's time treasure trying to make it in professional wrestling. She then says Liv held herself back like she always does, and says it takes more than that to beat her. She asks if Liv will do the same thing when she is in their match, and after stating she has already signed the contract and has nothing to prove, Sonya announces their match will be next week on Raw. Becky says that the fans are not ready for the big title match, then mocks the New York Islanders before Liv Morgan tells her to shut up for once, signs the contract, then says she channeled her energy into her fists instead of being a big, blubbering mess. She mentions Becky Lynch crying about her Survivor Series Charlotte Flair, and even shows the footage from last week before making fun of her for crying and stating that she is nothing but a bully and everything she once despised. Liv says that her friends are gone because of Becky's big money contract, then says she will not be Becky's "number two" and that she learned from all of her mistakes. She then says that if the first punch didn't teach Becky anything, the next will. As Edge says the future is wide open, The Miz, much like Edge, returns for the first time in a month after being off programming to take part in Dancing With The Stars, and this time, he has Maryse with him. After a Dancing With The Stars video package, Miz says Edge has been waiting for an opportunity while he has been representing WWE during his time off, and yet Edge gets the big return package and he does not. Miz then says that what really ticks him off is that Edge has not mentioned him, but Edge says he thought Miz was busy paiting himself like a genie and dancing. Maryse says Miz has been busy entertaining, but Edge mentions that Miz placed ninth in the competition. Miz chalks it up to his fanbase not voting for him, then says he was dancing with stars while Edge was dancing with injuries. Edge tells Miz he could have went to WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, but he did not, and thinks that Miz's agenda is to antagonize him to get into the main event picture. Edge says he could get take the easy way out and get the crowd to chant "Miz sucks" on the count of three - which he ends up doing anyway - but he won't. Miz says he deserves more respect, saying he held the WWE Championship six months ago and that Edge was in the opening bout while he main evented with John Cena, and while Edge has a big career, he has surpassed it. Miz says Edge should have went home for good, and while Edge admits that he has had to struggle to come back from retirement, is dancing with a body that may not allow him to wrestle for much longer, people still want to face him and he and the competition have mutual respect for each other. He says that this mutual respect is something that Miz will never understand, as he keeps moaning and complaining and that Miz just wants a pat on the back, and gives Miz credit where credit is due, saying he made it higher than anyone else but Miz himself thought he could. He says that Miz willed that into existence, and says that while he fought with every fiber being to get this small window of time where he can still wrestle back, Miz just used the opportunity to get notoriety for his next endeavor while other people talk about him in other companies and Miz leaves his tag team partner high and dry to get fired (a reference to John Morrison's recent WWE release), and says that while Miz demands respect, he has earned it.
