"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson guests on commentary for the next two matches.

Jon Moxley beats Jay Lethal with the leg trap and the bulldog choke in the Gold League of the Continental Classic and earns three points, despite Lethal working at Moxley's knee throughout the match.

In backstage footage from last week's Collision, Eddie Kingston says he knew that the tournament would be tough, and that he came in too arrogant and too cocky like he deserved to win. He says that he has "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson next and that he must stay humble.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone announces that Sting's final match will take place in Greensboro, North Carolina in the Greensboro Coliseum, where Sting faced "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair for world championship gold in 1988. Schiavone interviews Sting and Flair, and Sting says he never thought that he would have this interview 35 years later following that 45-minute draw, and says it was a make-or-break moment for him before thanking Flair and Schiavone for making it happen. He says that Greensboro is a fitting place to cap off all his career. Flair says that the volume and emphasis of what is about to take place is huge and that Sting made himself, having proven himself against Flair. Flair says he has seen many great moments and that he is honored to be Sting's side, for it will be one for the ages.

Rush beats Mark Briscoe in the Gold League of the Continental Classic and earns three points.

Backstage, RJ City interviews "Timeless" Toni Storm, who says that she is very fatigued and dehydrated after a night of partying. As for her next title defense, Toni says she is not worried and that she will turn out fine.

MJF heads to the ring. MJF says that at Worlds End, he will defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe, and when it comes to Joe as a person, he does not like him, but professionally, he respects him and what he has done and not coming to AEW to line his pockets. He talks about how he got a poster in his mailbox for TNA Wrestling and saw a lot of wrestling that he had never seen before, and most importantly, Samoa Joe. He says that while Joe looked unconventional, he did not care, for he was "the baddest man walking on God's green earth." MJF admits that Joe's talents were not recognized to the point of becoming a world champion in WWE, but Joe proved that one does not have to look like a world-class bodybuilder to be a top man in the sport and that alternatives matter. He says that without Joe, there would be no MJF and no AEW, and he thanks Joe for making both happen. MJF then says that while he is grateful for the road Joe has paved, he is not too shabby himself, for he has helped to build a new alternative in AEW brick by brick by defeating some of the biggest names in the industry. He then says that out of all of the big names he has faced, the luckiest that he has managed to survive against is Samoa Joe. MJF then says Worlds End is not about Joe's legacy, but his own, and he must outlast the final boss of the sport one more time. He then promises to everyone at home and everyone in the arena that regardless of his condition or what Joe does to him, he will show the world that it is about the size of the fight in the dog, and if Joe wants to take what is his, he will have to put him down. After MJF breaks his cane over his knee, the lights go out and spotlights frantically fly around the ring, and men clad in black suddenly gang up on MJF before the lights come back on. Joe shows up and forces the men to flee. We then see a message asking if Joe and MJF will face the unknown in a tag team match and asks MJF is he is a hero. MJF says he is not dealing with the mystery man's crap and that he will take his men out one by one before he unmasks him. As Joe tells MJF to relax, MJF accepts the challenge to a tag team match.

Wardlow beats AR Fox by referee stoppage.

Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Brother Zay in a trios match.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Action Andretti and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) when Penta el Zero Miedo and Alex Abrahantes show up. Dante and Penta fistbump, then Komander and El Hijo del Vikingo show up so that Penta can challenge Andretti and Top Flight to a trios match.

Julia Hart retains the AEW TBS Championship against Emi Sakura after using Sakura's own top rope moonsault against her. Under House Rules, Emi Sakura's chosen stipulation is that the match cannot be won via submission.

Backstage, RJ City interviews Mariah May. Mariah May says she is dying to show AEW what she can do, and thanks RJ City for the connections to Toni Storm. Mariah May then meets with Tony Khan in his office.

Christian Cage heads to the ring. Security is nearby as Christian invites Adam Copeland to the ring, wanting to speak about some of the things he said to him last week. After some waiting, Copeland shows up, and Christian hides behind the security detail. Christian says the security detail was not his idea and that security is not needed, then asks the security detail to vacate the ring, which security does. He then says that the two of them are not going to make it to next week regarding Copeland's challenge for the TNT Championship because he is sorry not for being on an island of his own, especially after what happened to Killswitch. Christian states that after what happened to Killswitch, he went on the road and into a state of reflection as to why he became who he is now and it reminded him of his and Copeland's time treasure trying to make it in professional wrestling. He says that when they did make it, they became the greatest tag team that ever lived and two of the greatest careers in the history of the sport, and that when the wrestling is taken out of the equation, their relationship goes even deeper. Christian then goes into Copeland growing up with a single father and no father figure, which led to them become brothers and Christian's father becoming Copeland's father, to the point that they became family. As Copeland turns his back, Christian tries to hit him with the TNT Championship, but Copeland turns around and kicks Christian in the groin before telling him to shine the title up real nice because it is coming home to him. He also tells Christian "Go fuck yourself."
