Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 18, 2023

Dustin Starr interviews Brandon Cutler at the announce desk. As soon as everyone chants "Brandon sucks," he soon says the city sucks. He then says everyone in The Elite has had a championship except for him, and in order to change that, he wants to face Memphis Wrestling's biggest, baddest champion. "The GunShow" Brett Michaels shows up and tells Brandon Cutler that this is Memphis Wrestling, not TNT, and that he is "two Bucks shy of being elite." He then tells Cutler that if he wants best Memphis Wrestling has, he's got it.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against Brandon Cutler despite being sprayed in the eyes with cold spray by Cutler before the bell. During the match, Brandon Cutler tries to use the cold spray again, but Brett turns the cold spray against and sprays Cutler in his eyes instead before hitting the spinebuster and the GunShow Lariat to retain.

We hear from K-Toomer, who says there will be no restrictions and just straight savagery between them. He says that they are about to raise hell on the WrestleCenter and it is about to be official, and that Mike Anthony messed up when he did not finish the job and that he has no idea what he is in for. K-Toomer will lock himself in a room for 48 hours with no, lights food or water to show what a real savage is, and when Mike Anthony comes out with everything he has, it will not be enough. He then says that he hopes Mike Anthony is ready, because the next chapter starts with him beating "the dogshit" out of him.

Backstage, "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn tells Phil that it is time to stop messing around and start getting some championship gold with the Trios Tournament, then reveals his partner, who is hiding behind a door and cannot be seen.

We hear from The Roberts Family Legacy and Justin Case. Justin Case says that their opponents today are in trouble and that they will win the tournament and become champions.

"Main Event" Brad Skiamorn and Phil's partner in the Trios Tournament is revealed to be J Webb.

The Roberts Family Legacy (Aaron Roberts, Cordale Roberts, Big Red) quickly beat "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn, Phil and J Webb to advance in the Trios Tournament.

We hear from "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane and "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane. Austin Lane looks forward to the winners-take-all match against Tim Bosby and Mackenzie Morgan. Nikki Lane wonders how bad it is going to be when Bosby costs Mackenzie the women's title, as does Austin.

"The Goddess of the Night" Nyxx guests on commentary for the next match.

Cassandra Golden beats Diana Taylor. During the match, Diana Taylor is injured when she tweaks her ankle after hitting Cassandra Golden with a running back elbow. Diana Taylor kicks out on Cassandra's first pinfall attempt, but stays down for the second.

We hear from Mackenzie Morgan, who announces that the that Diana Taylor has been injured and asks the fans to reach out to her, then chastises Nyxx for laughing at Diana for getting injured and says she will take care of her later. She then addresses Austin Lane and Nikki Lane, saying she has a dog inside of her and that she bites more than she barks while the Lanes are just "yapping little dogs." As Mackenzie looks forward to wiping the smile off the Lanes' faces, she then says that Nikki will find out why she is the leader of the women's division.

We see King Cobra making sure there is ample security in the street fight between Mike Anthony and K-Toomer.

We see Mike Anthony being escorted into the WrestleCenter before the next match.

K-Toomer beats Mike Anthony in a Memphis Street Fight. After the match, Mike Anthony tries to crawl out of the ring, but K-Toomer grabs him and throws him into a pile of metal folding chairs in the center of the ring to end the show.
