Collision Course - Collision recap for November 11, 2023

We hear from Sting, Darby Allin, Adam Copeland, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch), Lance Archer, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, "La Perro Peligroso" Preston Vance, Jose the Assitant), Don Callis, Powerhouse Hobbs, Daniel Garcia, and Andrade el Idolo before tonight show.

Andrade el Idolo - now managed by CJ Perry - beats Daniel Garcia with the Figure Eight. It is announced that Collision will be live next Friday following Rampage (due to Full Gear being on Saturday). Miro is seen watching from backstage before and after the match.

Nick Wayne beats Dalton Castle following the distraction by Christian Cage.

Backstage, we hear from "Hangman" Adam Page. He says Swerve Strickland could have done great things, but instead, he broke into his home and stepped into the gates of hell, and at Full Gear, he will face him in a Texas Death Match. He tells Swerve to enjoy the next week before he takes him to the abyss and leaves him in fire for eternity.

La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and Dralistico) beat The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry). After the match, we hear from The House of Black. Malakai Black and Brody King make it clear that they are coming for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, then Julia Hart states that Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale keep rejecting her gifts. Julia then proposes that if she beats Willow Nightingale tonight, Kris Statlander must give her a TBS Championship rematch.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale. Statlander says she does not trust Julia Hart or her antics and that Willow Nightingale is most deserving of a title shot as she wishes Willow luck. As for the other qualifying match between Skye Blue and Red Velvet, she has no comment.

Roderick Strong beats Darius Martin. After the match, Mike Bennett punches Darius Martin in the weiner before he and Matt Taven give Marius a double-team spike piledriver. Bennett and Taven both leave with Roddy after Action Andretti runs into the ring.

Backstage, we hear from Tony Khan and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. It is announced that Danielson will be at All In 2024 after being out with an injury for this year's event, and Danielson says he could feel the energy from All In 2023 and that he cannot wait for All In 2024. Also announced is the round-robin 12-participant Continental Classic Tournament which starts the day before Thanksgiving and ends at Worlds End, with the first announced participant being Danielson. Danielson says he has wanted to do a tournament like this his entire career, and that nothing will stop him from coming back and taking part in the best wrestling tournament ever.

Julia Hart beats Willow Nightingale after somehow escaping being powerbombed. With this victory, Julia Hart qualifies for the AEW World Women's Championship match at Full Gear.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Big Bill. Starks and Big Bill want nothing to do with the other tag teams, even in the ring, then find out that they will be defending the AEW World Tag Team titles in a four-way match at Full Gear against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), The House of Black (Malakai Black and Brody King) and La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and Dralistico). Starks says that they will beat all three teams on the road to become the longest-reigning tag champs ever.

Powerhouse Hobbs quickly beats an unnamed opponent. (The unnamed opponent is independent wrestler Titus Alexander.) After the match, Don Callis says that his family is the greatest family in the history of professional wrestling, and in just a few short days, they will be involved in the Like A Dragon Street Fight. Callis boasts about how Hobbs destroyed Chris Jericho and caused Jericho to ally himself with Paul Wight, and while Wight might have won the genetic jackpot in terms of physical size, he may have been shortchanged in the brains department. He says that it is not too late for Paul Wight to change his mind, as Jericho will try to use Wight as he tried to use Callis. When Wight refuses to respond, Callis says he has seen "a scared giant," then says he has buried two giant and is willing to bury a third. Callis sics Hobbs on Wight, and when Hobbs tries to provoke him, Wight immediately stands up, and Callis and Kyle Fletcher have to hold Hobbs back.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Wheeler mentions their history with the other tag teams in the tag team match at Full Gera, and Harwood says that their one focus is to be tag team champions, and their road to it starts now regardless of who they have to beat to regain them.

Sting, Darby Allin and Adam Copeland beat Lance Archer and The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). After the match, Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne show up and staredown Copeland, Sting and Darby from the stage.
