Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 8, 2023

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews MJF. MJF says it only takes three seconds to end a world title reign, then tells "Switchblade" Jay White to enjoy his three seconds for it will not happen again before getting a video call from Adam Cole. Adam Cole tells MJF that if he wants to beat The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) and retain the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships, he will need to take Samoa Joe up on his offer. MJF says that he does not want to do that and that will handle The Gunns just like he will handle Daniel Garcia tonight. Garcia shows up with "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, and MJF says that he believes in him and wants to know if he is getting a sports entertainer or a wrestler. Garcia tells MJF that tonight, he gets a professional wrestler. Garcia, Parker and Menard leave, then Roderick Strong and The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) show up. As Roderick says he is a wrestling legend, MJF tells him he is a joke, then leaves. Adam Cole then hangs up on MJF and Roderick, then Roderick says it is time to remind everyone who he is.

MJF retains the AEW World Championship against Daniel Garcia with Salt of the Earth. After the match, MJF extends his hand to Garcia, but Angelo Parker and Matt Menard refuse to let Garcia shake hands.

We hear from Mark Briscoe, who says it has been a while since he and Jay White have locked horns and that this will be their first one-on-one meeting. He remembers when Jay White got started, then says Jay White is not a man because he has henchmen and that he will beat him and punch his ticket to championship gold.

Darby Allin and Sting beat The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) with the Scorpion Deathlock from Sting to Truth Magnum. The match is only Sting's second match in the state of Oregon since 1989, when Sting challenged "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in Portland.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews "Timeless" Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida. Hikaru Shida wants to know what happened to Toni Storm, to which Storm says Shida happened. She says that she happens now, not Shida, and she became history. Toni then says Shida may have the title, but she has the spotlight, for it belongs to her. Toni then signs the contract for their match, and Shida does likewise before telling Toni she will beat her at Full Gear.

Swerve Strickland beats Penta el Zero Miedo with the Swerve Stomp after snapping Penta's arm in retaliation. After the match, "Hangman" Adam Page shows up with a chair and swings it at Swerve, forcing Swerve and Prince Nana to retreat as Swerve tries to unmask Penta. Adam Page soon catches up and smacks Swerve with the chair, and when security shows up, they also get nailed. When referees show up, Adam Page puts Swerve through a table off the ramp with Deadeye before being restrained.

("Switchblade' Jay White, "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) Jay White says he has been keeping an eye out on AEW, and says MJF only dreams about himself while he is always better than MJF and that he will prove that he is truly elite against Mark Briscoe tonight.

As Jericho talks about his and Omega's upcoming match against The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, Sammy Guevara), The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) show up and mock Omega's alliance with Jericho, saying that Jericho's back is too big for their dressing room. Jericho says it was the four of them who got All Elite Wrestling off the ground, but Matt Jackson tells Jericho he just waltzed in for a check. This leads to Jericho giving The Young Bucks credit for being one of the best tag teams ever before challenging The Young Bucks to a match, and Matt Jackson says that if The Young Bucks win, Jericho and Omega will split up and The Elite will be a thing again. Omega says he does not want to wrestle The Young Bucks and that they have been down this road before, but if they really want to face him and Jericho, they can do it, and hopefully The Young Bucks will act like adults and not like "whiny, bitchy children." Omega leaves, then Jericho says he is more than happy to take The Young Bucks to the woodshed before telling them he has his own dressing room.

Samoa Joe retains the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Samoa Joe with the rear naked choke. After the match, Samoa Joe says that what stands before the fans is the greatest Ring of Honor World Television Champion of all time, but he did not arrive to solely be a Television Champion, and says that hunger defines the greats. Orange says Jon Moxley has lost his mind and that Moxley is the only person he has thought about after beating him for the International title and leaving him in a pool of his own blood. Orange then says that when he came back, he picked up the pieces of the International Championship that Moxley dropped. He then says holding the belt does not feel the same and that he has to beat Moxley to be the champion that he knows that he is, and at Full Gear, he will beat Moxley.

The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) quickly beat The Bollywood Boyz (Harv and Gurv Sihra). After the match, Colten Gunn says MJF has lied to the fans for years about being a generational challenge and has told sob story after sob story about how he was told he was not ready, then says that he and Austin have run AEW since day one and are true generational talents. Austin says that MJF has defended the Ring of Honor tag titles only once and that his only friends are on the other side of the barricade, and that he and Colten are ready to give anyone the 3:10 to Yuma before bringing the tag titles back to a real tag team. As MJF watches The Gunns from backstage, Samoa Joe approaches MJF, who walks away.

We hear from Wheeler Yuta and Jon Moxley. Moxley says Orange knew what he was doing when he stepped on his territory and that this is about the laws of nature, where he and Yuta are the dominant predators and he must beat "the everloving piss" out of Orange. He says that he must set an example for Yuta much like Orange should set one for Hook and that Orange does not deserve to make it to Full Gear, and that it will be gang warfare when they finally meet. Wheeler Yuta tells Hook that he may be a tough guy, but he messed with the wrong crew.

Jay White flees before MJF can attack him, and MJF says he hopes that Jay White had fun playing dress-up as top guy and that he will have to get into the ring with him at Full Gear, and that Jay White will have to kill him to beat him. MJF says that he promised to be the best champion or die trying and that he is fighting for the fans and for Adam Cole. MJF then asks Jay White if he will be the first one to pull the trigger when he stands in the way of immortality, then the lights go out and it is revealed that masked men clad in black are attacking The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) backstage.
