Collision Course - Collision recap for November 25, 2023

Claudio Castagnoli beats Daniel Garcia in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and earns three points. Wheeler Yuta comes out and celebrates with Claudio after the match.

We hear from Eddie Kingston, who says that all he ever wanted to do is wrestled in Japan, and now that he has done that and won a championship, he has put that championship along with the Ring of Honor World Championship to ensure the Continental Classic is the most prestigious tournament in America. He says that Brody King is not a small man, and that he must get ready to fight him.

Luchasaurus - now officially known as Killswitch - beats The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) in a two-on-one handicap match. After the match, Killswitch pulls two chairs out from underneath the ring, unfolds one and chokeslams one of The Boys onto it before grabbing the other Boy. Suddenly, Adam Copeland shows up from behind Killswitch and hits him repeatedly with a chair, then pulls the bottom bar from the chair and puts him in a crossface with it. Copeland then goes for and hits the Con-Chair-To on Killswitch. Somehow, Killswitch tries to pull himself up afterwards, and Copeland responds with a curb stomp onto a chair before hitting another Con-Chair-To.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Adam Copeland. Copeland shows up and tells Lexy Nair to leave, then looks straight at the camera and addresses Christian Cage, saying that everything that has happened to Killswitch and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne is all on Christian and his insecurities, as Christian thought that everyone would compare him to Copeland as soon as Copeland arrived and would become second fiddle again. Copeland says he could care less about that and that their friendship is more important than anything else, and yet Christian could not get past his own ego. He says that Christian was about to Con-Chair-To Sting the night he showed up, and last Wednesday, Christian almost hit a Con-Chair-To on Shayna Wayne. He also mentions Christian mentioning Beth Phoenix as well as his two children and reminds Christian that he has a short fuse, and that he would not let Christian light it until Christian made it clear that he would break his neck. Copeland then says that Christian is not only threatening him and his furutre, but also his children's futures, and now he is hunting Christian. Copeland says he already has two heads on his wall, and he tells Christian to ask Nick Wayne and Killswitch what happens when he snaps, for he will change his soul and kick his face in, and when Christian closes his eyes, he will picture him and the pain he will bring into his world. He then says he will take the TNT Championship, which is secondary to him, because it is the most important thing in his world, and on Dynamite on December 6th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he will go places that Christian will never go because he does not have the dog in him while he takes Christian's title.

The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) beat Komander and Gravity after Buddy Matthews curb stomps Komander as Komander is being taunted by Malakai Black.

Backstage, we hear from Action Andretti and Darius Martin. Andretti says he and Darius have teamed up for eight months and that they have created a bond together, and next week, Dynamite will be in Darius' hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Darius admits they have been creating some chemistry, but something seems off, and he knos what that might be. Dante Martin shows up and fist bumps both Andretti and Darius, then says it is time to take flight, because he is back.

Julia Hart retains the AEW TBS Championship against Lady Frost. Under House Rules, there are no countouts in this match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Don Callis and Powerhouse Hobbs. Callis says he cannot understand how Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have a shot at the tag team titles when he broke both of them and sent them to the hospital. He says that he does not need two men to beat them and that Hobbs alone can do it. Hobbs says he is big, Black and jacked, and anyone can get it.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). After the match, The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) show up and tells FTR that nobody is coming to save them - not even CM Punk - and that AEW is not the brotherhood that FTR thinks it is. The lights then go out, and when they come back on, The House of Black are nowhere to be seen.

Action Andretti and Dante Martin's promo announcing Darius Martin's return from Rampage is replayed due to TNT going to commercial earlier than expected.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Big Bill in the ring. Starks says he expected more of a fight from Chris Jericho, and he knows that the "clout vampire" that is Chris Jericho will try to come back around and bite his neck, but it will not happen. Big Bill says "The Golden Jets" are more like "The Golden Girls" when it comes to Jericho and Kenny Omega, and Starks says that while he and Big Bill barely know each other, he knows that Jericho and Omega are not built like Big Bill. Big Bill goes on to say that four years ago, while he was going in and out of emergency rooms due to seizures from alcohol withdrawal, when he could not get out of bed while in the lowest point of his life, and when everyone counted him out and stopped believing in him, he always knew he would make it back to the top, and standing with Starks with the AEW World Tag Team Championship, he made it back to the top. He says that he and Starks know all about Jericho and Omega and know that they are two of the best to ever do this, but he does not think they realize who they are dealing with, as he and Starks are angry, motivated and ready to embarrass them. After comparing himself and Starks to legendary NBA basketball duos, he does not see any of the legendary Chicago Bulls players in Jericho or Omega; instead, he just sees "the dudes that hand Michael Jordan his Bazooka Joe bubble gum before starting line-ups are introduced." Starks says one tells everyone they are the best while the other is, and when all is said and done, he likes his gum minty fresh while Big Bill loves Big Red.

We see a video package for the participants in the Gold League of the Continental Classic, who are all in action next week on Dynamite.

Keith Lee beats "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Keith Lee. Lee says he planned to talk about how good and talented Lee Moriarty is, and while he is good, he is no Keith Lee. He then says he is tired of the misrepresentation, mistreatment and lack of opportunity given to him, and that he will take it, and by "it," he means "him." He says that he knows who it is and that he knows what he wants.

Brody King beats Eddie Kingston in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and scores three points.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews MJF. MJF says it only takes three seconds to end a world title reign, then tells "Switchblade" Jay White to enjoy his three seconds for it will not happen again before getting a video call from Adam Cole. Adam Cole tells MJF that if he wants to beat The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) and retain the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships, he will need to take Samoa Joe up on his offer. MJF says that he does not want to do that and that will handle The Gunns just like he will handle Daniel Garcia tonight. Garcia shows up with "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, and MJF says that he believes in him and wants to know if he is getting a sports entertainer or a wrestler. Garcia tells MJF that tonight, he gets a professional wrestler. Garcia, Parker and Menard leave, then Roderick Strong and The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) show up. As Roderick says he is a wrestling legend, MJF tells him he is a joke, then leaves. Adam Cole then hangs up on MJF and Roderick, then Roderick says it is time to remind everyone who he is.

("Switchblade' Jay White, "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) Jay White says he has been keeping an eye out on AEW, and says MJF only dreams about himself while he is always better than MJF and that he will prove that he is truly elite against Mark Briscoe tonight.

Jericho says it was the four of them who got All Elite Wrestling off the ground, but Matt Jackson tells Jericho he just waltzed in for a check. This leads to Jericho giving The Young Bucks credit for being one of the best tag teams ever before challenging The Young Bucks to a match, and Matt Jackson says that if The Young Bucks win, Jericho and Omega will split up and The Elite will be a thing again. Omega says he does not want to wrestle The Young Bucks and that they have been down this road before, but if they really want to face him and Jericho, they can do it, and hopefully The Young Bucks will act like adults and not like "whiny, bitchy children." Omega leaves, then Jericho says he is more than happy to take The Young Bucks to the woodshed before telling them he has his own dressing room.

Orange then says that when he came back, he picked up the pieces of the International Championship that Moxley dropped. He then says holding the belt does not feel the same and that he has to beat Moxley to be the champion that he knows that he is, and at Full Gear, he will beat Moxley.

The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) quickly beat The Bollywood Boyz (Harv and Gurv Sihra). After the match, Colten Gunn says MJF has lied to the fans for years about being a generational challenge and has told sob story after sob story about how he was told he was not ready, then says that he and Austin have run AEW since day one and are true generational talents. Austin says that MJF has defended the Ring of Honor tag titles only once and that his only friends are on the other side of the barricade, and that he and Colten are ready to give anyone the 3:10 to Yuma before bringing the tag titles back to a real tag team. As MJF watches The Gunns from backstage, Samoa Joe approaches MJF, who walks away.

We hear from Wheeler Yuta and Jon Moxley. Moxley says Orange knew what he was doing when he stepped on his territory and that this is about the laws of nature, where he and Yuta are the dominant predators and he must beat "the everloving piss" out of Orange. He says that he must set an example for Yuta much like Orange should set one for Hook and that Orange does not deserve to make it to Full Gear, and that it will be gang warfare when they finally meet. Wheeler Yuta tells Hook that he may be a tough guy, but he messed with the wrong crew.

MJF says that he promised to be the best champion or die trying and that he is fighting for the fans and for Adam Cole. MJF then asks Jay White if he will be the first one to pull the trigger when he stands in the way of immortality, then the lights go out and it is revealed that masked men clad in black are attacking The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) backstage. Jericho tells Darby to shut his mouth and mind his business, then tells Guevara that he never called him once or asked him for help as he chased the AEW Championship, and that if he did, he would be AEW World Champion. Guevara asks Jericho why he didn't call him, saying that if he did, he would not have lost to Adam Cole twice. Jericho says Guevara is having "delusions of grandeur" for being in the main event spotlight, and demands he apologize right now. Guevara tells Jericho "I'm not apologizing for shit!" Jericho tells Guevara to remember the dynamic and the hierarchy in The Jericho Appreciation Society, and that they will have to tag up next week to show who the boss really is. He says that nothing changed for MJF, and that when he himself chased national television, he had to go to therapy, and he went from worrying about his own mental health to giving back to him family. He tells MJF that this is just "a fifteen-minute ride." Darby says he is not like MJF and that he will not lower his morals to be somebody in this world, then dares MJF to keep talking. MJF calls Darby "an arrogant little boy" for thinking he is special and that he does not have to go through what others have had to go through, and says he is sick and tired of him and others whining about morals, "as morals kill careers in this sport." He says that Darby stands as a daredevil when he is really a gutless coward, as he does not have the guts to sacrifice what must be sacrificed. MJF says he is aware that he may not go to Heaven on his deathbed, and that all that matters is if the "Triple B" goes with him. He also says he is willing to do what it takes to leave a legacy in professional wrestling as the greatest of all time, while Darby's legacy will be as "Sting's bitch." Suddenly, Sting shows up. He heads to the ring and says that the talk of has late somewhat offends him and sees himself more of a cheerleader than a "daddy daycare" guy as he pulls out a pom pom and hits MJF with it, then says he has a fever and that the only cue is more pom poms, which he produces out of his jacket and throws at MJF. He then says that he will stop now with the pom poms if MJF stops with the "daddy daycare crap," then mentions how "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes was a support system for MJF much like he is for Darby and how "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was a support system for him. From there, he evolved, and became part of the nWo Wolfpac - and gives a tribute to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall - and says there is a little bit of The Joker left in him as well as a thirst for the world title. He admits that "showtime is almost over" for him, but it is just beginning for Darby, and promises MJF that Darby will become AEW's world heavyweight champion. Darby says "this plastic world" has not taken him alive, and that he will leave the man who ended MJF's reign of terror to become AEW World Champion. MJF spits in Darby's face and rolls out of the ring.

He says that The Elite will take care of their problems with The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) in the ring, and warns them that attacking Don Callis and splitting his skull open made this personal, as Callis is still family despite being a less than likeable man.
