He says that this changes right now, and that Shane Taylor Promotions will become the most violent group that AEW has ever seen. Shane Taylor accepts Jon Moxley's challenge of beating his ass to take it all, and tells him to bring his men so they can see if The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, PAC) can rumble.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for May 6, 2026

Tony Schiavone is in the ring to start tonight's show. He addresses the passing of Ted Turner and his role of professional wrestling on national television and how it found a home on TBS and TNT. He talks about how Turner made National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling destination video and how he was there early on, and how, thanks to Ted Turner, it lives on in Tony Khan, Warner Bros. Discovery and All Elite Wrestling. He says that everyone is here today because of Ted Turner, as does Sting, who was also part of NWA and WCW's rise on TBS and later TNT. Sting is introduced, and he heads to the ring. Schiavone links Ted Turner to him and Sting being friends all these years, and Sting calls Turner "an all-in billionaire who loved pro wrestling" who was completely committed and devoted to NWA and WCW, even when NWA and WCW were in the red, as he had deep pockets. He says that nobody would be here tonight, much less him, Darby Allin and the TBS and TNT Championships without Ted Turner. On the subject of tonight's show, Sting says he and Darby took a blowtorch to this place for three-and-a-half years. He says that it is a great night to see Darby Allin defend the world title, then calls Tony Kahn "another all-in billionaire who is keeping the ball rolling." Schiavone also mentions the Turner Techwood Mansions on the TBS and TNT Championships's side plates. Tonight's three-hour show is then deemed in honor of Ted Turner's memory, and Ted Turner is given a ten-bell salute. In memoriam: Ted Turner, 1938 - 2026.

Jon Moxley beats Juice Robinson in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match by submission with the bulldog choke after Juice Robinson passes out.

In footage from earlier today, Daniel Garcia talks about their recent 15-hour plane trip back from Japan and how it is The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) against the world. Will Ospreay acts as a base for Wheeler Yuta's sit-ups before Jon Moxley mentions the concept of "death ground," a situation from which one cannot escape and it is do or die. He says that if Ospreay cannot get his neck right, his wrestling career is over, and that it is a privilege for Ospreay to come all the way up the mountain to meet the last one percent. PAC then covers the camera up with his hand.

Jericho says he is done with the three-on-one beatdowns and "the bullshit," then demands that Ricochet talk to him face-to-face, one-on-one, man-to-man in the ring right here and now. Ricochet shows up with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, and Ricochet tells Jericho he tried to do him a favor by telling him to leave, but says Jericho decided to be funny. He also says that the three of them can make Jericho's humiliation kink a reality right now, then admits he is getting tired of this and wants to know what he gets out of facing Jericho. Kaun whispers in Ricochet's ear, which gives him an idea. Ricochet challenges Jericho to a match that Jericho himself created, and that he not only wants to beat him with the "Rico-sault," but also beat him in a Stadium Stampede Match. He also says that Jericho will not be able to find four other tag team partners because nobody in AEW likes him, but Jericho accepts the challenge and says he will find four other partners, and if he cannot, he will take Ricochet's team on alone. Jericho then calls Ricochet bald and hits him with the microphone, then fights off both Kaun and Toa Liona before hitting Ricochet with the Judas Effect. He says that he sees the potential in and the tide rising for Ospreay, then asks how much of Ospreay will remain to become champion and says that with The Opps on his side, that could be a very long time. After stating that he has signed Hook up for a movie to give him a better opportunity to succeed, he says that he will do the same for Anthony Bowens and Katsuyori Shibata, then tells Ospreay the choice is his and that his intentions for him are clear. Samoa Joe says he will put his hand out one last time, and if it is not accepted, he will put out his fist.

He calls this the purest form of competition in pro wrestling and the Continental Championship the highest stakes in the game, and that Ospreay would be smart enough not to do this at less than 100%, which Moxley considers "one hell of a bluff." He says that The Death Riders are about keeping the sport pure, and that he will let delusional people be delusional and have them find out whatever they need to find out in due time. Moxley says to expect no mercy, even though he does not have to beat Ospreay because Ospreay will beat himself.

As for Anthony Bowens and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn, he says that he has told them to take the week off and that he knows they have his back this week, and tells Swerve that if he is a real rapper and wrestler like he says he is, he will accept his challenge and take this ass-whipping like a man.

He then talks about selling out Arena Mexico and beating Mark Briscoe as of late and that it is time to introduce a new era of Jericho, saying "The Ocho" is out and "El Nueve" is in before challenging Mark Briscoe for the ROH World title at WrestleDream. The Conglomeration shows up, and Mark Briscoe heads to the ring. Briscoe says this is between him and Jericho, and Jericho calls Big Bill and Bryan Keith off so that Mark and Jericho are the only two men in the ring. Briscoe says that being a man means not making excuses, and while he could make excuses and state that he had Jericho beaten in New York City, they were in a tornado tag team match where anything was legal, and he is calling it like it is. Mark Briscoe then calls Jericho one of the most influential and finest pro wrestlers in the last four decades, as it works out well for him that Jericho pinned him, as Jericho is in line for a title shot that he personally looks forward to. He says that the word of the day is "consequential," as he will consequentially beat Chris Jericho to retain his championship, but Jericho says Mark Briscoe cannot beat him before stating that maybe his brother Jay Briscoe could have. Jericho then says that Mark will never be as good as Jay was, and Mark Briscoe chops him in the jaw, demands that Jericho keep his brother's name out of his mouth, and tells him that if he wants to go that far, then he will get a Briscoe Brothers-style ass whupping. He then calls the knock down "consequential."

We hear from Darby Allin, who talks about how he was on a bus when he turned around and saw three men taking turns spitting on the back of his head and actually did something about it, and how he was reminded of those three guys when Jon Moxley told him he was not ready to be World Champion. He says he put everything on the line against Moxley and that it should have been him going on to WrestleDream, and while he says he is ready to be the face of AEW, he and the fans are both losing faith in himself and all he can do is face. Darby says he will be at WrestleDream, and puts out an open challenge to anyone in the locker room who wants to make a name for himself, as he has nothing left to lose.

We hear from "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, who tells Jon Moxley that their match for the AEW World Championship is bigger than the both of them and that they have broken the system that professional wrestling was built on, which is why he challenged "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. He says that he and Okada both have a win apiece, and while Okada has broken his orbital bone, he has not broken his spirit. He says that his title is on the line for the whole match while Okada's is contested for only twenty minutes, but he would not want it any other way.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Glamour" Mariah May. Mariah May says Willow Nightingale has been "failing up" her way to the AEW Women's World Championship, then Willow confronts her, telling her to say what she has to say to her face. Mariah slaps Willow, Willow slaps Mariah back, and both women have to be kept apart.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson). During the match, Stokely Hathaway is seen watching the match from backstage. He says that they beat The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) once and that they can beat them again, then says that they are feeling froggy and they can do it right now. The Young Bucks appear from behind the video screen, and Nicholas says AEW cannot have an anniversary show without the people who built the company. Matthew mentions that they have an overrun tonight and that he has an idea, then says they can put the tag team titles on the line right now before mentioning that they have limited dates and will not waste one of them on Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As The Young Bucks leave, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry shows up and attacks Marq Quen, then The Young Bucks run into the ring and join Perry. Suddenly, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata runs into the ring to even the numbers, and The Young Bucks and Jack Perry flee. Interim Executive Vice President Christopher Danielson shows up and says Private Party has been a thorn in The Young Bucks' side since the beginning of AEW and that he would love to see them piss The Young Bucks off. He then proposes a six-man match between the team of Private Party and Shibata and The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry) on Rampage.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews MVP, who is about to make an announcement when Prince Nana shows up and says MVP talked spicy about him and Swerve, and says MVP forgot he used to be a wrestler and that he will lace his boots up for him. MVP says that sounds like a complaint and that he does not do complaints, then introduces Shelton Benjamin, whom he calls the head of the complaint department. Shelton drinks from Prince Nana's coffee cup, then walks off with it alongside MVP.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson retains the AEW World Championship against "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada with a backslide pin after Claudio Castagnoli and PAC show up to watch from the front row. During the match, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada's AEW Continental Championship was also being defended, but Danielson failed to win the match within the first twenty minutes; therefore, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Continental Championship. After the match, Okada hits Danielson with another Rainmaker, then blames Claudio and PAC for his loss before storming to the back. Claudio and PAC get in the ring and hold Danielson up for Jon Moxley, who soon shows up and tells Danielson that he is playing for something much bigger for himself and that he is doing what he is doing because he has to. He says that if it were up to him, he would have put Danielson out of his misery a long time ago. All of a sudden, Wheeler Yuta runs into the ring with a hammer and scares The Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Claudio, PAC) out of the ring, then Jon Moxley gets back in the ring and looks at Wheeler. Wheeler dares Moxley to give him a reason to hit him, and Danielson attacks Moxley. Danielson and Wheeler fight off The Blackpool Combat Club, who are sent into a retreat, and Wheeler says he is sick of Claudio and PAC treating him like a child, for he is his own man who can make his own decision and fight his own fights. He then says that if they want to go through Danielson next week, they will have to go through him. Danielson then joins in, making the challenge a tag team match.

MJF tells The Gunns to shut up and tells them they have their tag team title shot, then tells Jay White that he will see him at Full Gear but that he will get his hands on him next week next week in the eight-man tag match and he will get back what belongs to him. Roderick Strong then wants to know if MJF will pick him and The Kingdom, but MJF calls Roddy "a bland bitch" and roll himself and The Kingdom off a cliff. "Platinum" Max Caster asks MJF if that means he will pick The Acclaimed, and MJF admits that he has never liked him and that he would never tag with him even if he was on fire. Max Caster takes it at MJF saying there is a chance, then asks him to scissor. MJF rejects it and leaves. As MJF heads to the back, he has a brief staredown with Kenny Omega. Christian Cage says that he has brought a security detail for Copeland's protection, not his, and tells Copeland to leave the ring and head to the back before he is forcefully removed. He also says that he wants a fair one-on-one match with "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson so he can prove that he is the best in the world. Suddenly, Danielson shows up and says that Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne have been banned from ringside for their match. After the match, "Switchblade" Jay White "proposes" to Juice Robinson with an imitation Dynamite Diamond Ring, which Robinson puts on and hits Christopher Daniels in the face with. Robinson then tells MJF that he is not the only one who can knock a man out with a ring on his fist and that he has been knocking people out for years with nothing on his hand, and that he really got the ring from TJ Maxx for $24.99 and is not a real diamond ring.
