Collision Course - Collision recap for November 30, 2024

Will Ospreay beats "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson in the Gold League of the Continental Classic. Will Ospreay scores three points.

We hear from "The Glamour" Mariah May backstage. Mariah says she is a complicated woman who does a lot of things that people do not understand, and that is okay. She says that when it comes to why she broke up with Mina Shirakawa, she says she never broke up with Mina and that they are closer than ever before, as every time Mina showed up, she loved America and AEW and wanted to be champion, and she could not deny her that chance at everything she has ever wanted. She says that if Mina wants to be on top, then the AEW Women's World Championship is what it takes to be on top. If Mina can beat her, she can have it all. She says that AEW has Mina, then says it time to see how long she lasts. Mariah says Mina can cry, scream and bleed, but she cannot say that she did not love her.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) and Mistico beat MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) and Johnny TV in a trios match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Anna Jay. Anna says her career has been full of up and downs, but it has not stopped her from stepping up to the plate and swinging for the fences. She says she put it all on the line against "The Glamour" Mariah May and lost it all, which means that she has nothing to lose. Anna states that "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo found out the hard way that she is "one fat ass that can't be kicked." While she cannot challenge for the AEW Women's World title, there are other titles, and she does not mind taking the big swing. She admits she usually says "try me," but it is time for her to try someone else.

Don Callis guests on commentary.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats The Beast Mortos in the Blue League of the Continental Classic by pinfall. "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher earns three points.

Backstage, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett talk with Kyle O'Reilly, with Bennett saying that what is going on is bigger than wrestling and Taven stating that they have respected O'Reilly's wishes in the past and just want him to return the favor as they wrestle some demons. O'Reilly says he "respects it plenty," then leaves, much to Bennett and Taven's confusion.

Backstage, we hear from Don Callis and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita. Callis says he had a front row seat when Takeshita destroyed Ricochet at Full Gear and it made him happy, and taht he is happy about the next year for Takeshita, where they head to the Tokyo Dome before making 2025 the year of his family and the year of Takeshita back in AEW. Takeshita says he dominates the ring and dares anyone to come and take the International Championship from him if they can.

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson says there seems to be some confusion about The Iron Savages' (Boulder, Bronson, Jameson) T-shirts, as everyone except them are "meat riders," including The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd), who they will beat down before taking their spots.

The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson). After the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up and shake hands with The Outrunners.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Platinum" Max Caster. Caster says Swerve Strickland has been acting crazy and assaulting him, even going so far as to rip his jacket. He says he could sue Swerve, but he will not do that. He says Swerve does not deserve the opportunities that he has gotten in AEW and challenges him to a match on Dynamite. As for Anthony Bowens and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn, he says that he has told them to take the week off and that he knows they have his back this week, and tells Swerve that if he is a real rapper and wrestler like he says he is, he will accept his challenge and take this ass-whipping like a man.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Wheeler Yuta after the rest of The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir) show up to watch the finish of the match. After the match, Hangman, knowing that The Death Riders are watching in the crowd, attacks Yuta again, then grabs a metal folding chair and wraps it around his head before "Switchblade" Jay White shows up with a metal folding chair of his own. Hangman flees with his chair, then Switchblade hits Yuta with Blade Runner. The Death Riders leave before telling Yuta that "the real king" is coming for "his king" Moxley and the AEW World Championship.

Backstage, Thunder Rosa hypes up tonight's Rampage before mentioning that she has seen Dynamite and that people "The Glamour" Mariah May stabbing friends on the back because they are hungry and want to be on top. She says that also makes her a little hungry, and after she is done with "Harleygram," she will keep a close eye on the AEW Women's World Championship, as she has held the title and has also beaten Mariah May.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Hangman" Adam Page, who refuses an interview before Interim Executive Vice President Christopher Daniels meets up with him, telling him that his quest for vengeance is poisoning him and taking him away from his goals and to let it go to become the man he needs to be and the leader that AEW needs. Hangman tells Daniels not to tell him who he is or who he can be, as he knows who he is, and if what happened him happened to Daniels, Daniels - or any man - would be this way. Hangman says the last thing he needs right now is "advice from an old man like [Daniels]," then leaves.

Mina Shirakawa beats Leila Grey.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Willow Nightingale. Willow says it is always great to come back and help a friend in Orange Cassidy, but after hearing about the International Women's Cup, it only feels right to represent AEW after being an international superstar and ambassador by defending championships overseas. She says that after Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii could not win the AEW and Ring of Honor World Championships, respectively, she must put her head down, get back to work and make it happen after more than a month away.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada vs. Daniel Garcia in the Blue League of the Continental Classic ends in a twenty-minute time limit draw as Garcia has Okada in the Sharpshooter. Both Okada and Garcia earn one point each. After the match, Okada offers to shake Garcia's hand, but Okada flips him off and leaves.

The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson) in a trios match. After the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) heads to the ring. Cash Wheeler says they are here on business, and Dax Harwood says he has it made it his life's goal to be AEW World Tag Team Champions and have put the titles above everything else. Dax says nothing changes except the obstacle, and that House of Black is the obstacle and that they have built Collision off the back of the tag team division. He then challenges House of Black to a tag team match on Dynamite. Malakai and Brody step up when Dax asks who they will face, then Malakai says "Good luck," before FTR head back to the back.

Backstage, we hear from Lio Rush, who says that there is a shift happening and that everyone in AEW is a part of it. He says that his past is creeping up on him and forcing him to make a decision, which is why he has held on to MVP's business card. He says The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) conducts business in a way he used to agree with, then talks about his recent wins before saying he is here and about to be on fire. Lio says he feels great, but he wants to feel greater and even alive again, which is why he is calling out Swerve Strickland on Dynamite.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) watch the next match from the stage.

The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) beat Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) in a 4-Way Contender Series Match to move on to the Fatal 4-Way Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear. During the match, both Turbo Floyd and Darius Martin nearly collide with Leila Grey, which irritates Dante and takes Top Flight off the same page. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) are seen watching the match from backstage.

Backstage, we hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens), who address La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, The Beast Mortos). Bowens says they will go through them to become tag team champions again, and Max Caster asks LFI where their balls are at when The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) shows up. MVP wants to know if The Acclaimed want to be serious and become tag team champs again, and brings up Caster's father playing in the NFL. Bowens tells them to watch what they say, and state that they are not interested. MVP tells Max Caster that he knows he still has the business card, and Caster shrugs it off.

Roderick Strong beats The Beast Mortos. After the match, Lance Archer runs into the ring and hits Roderick Strong with the Blackout while "The Machine" Brian Cage shows up to watch.

We hear from Mariah May, who says that she hates women's wrestling after not feeling that way before until she won the AEW Women's World Championship and realized she was surrounded by the worst and weakest women's division she has ever seen. She says she is the women's division and that everyone should be thanking her for standing on their necks, then says her talent is being wasted because nobody can touch her. She then says that she is the one who killed women's wrestling. Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Anna Jay, who says that she has done more than touch Mariah May and that she will choke her out until she pisses herself. She then challenges her to a no-disqualification match, and if she does not win, she will not challenge her for the title again. Anna says everyone wants Mariah's title and head, and that she plans to bring back both.

Kris Statlander beats Ashley Vox. After the match, Statlander is attacked from behind by Mercedes Moné, and referees rush into the ring to restore order.

Backstage, Rush, Dralistico and Jake "The Snake" Roberts confront The Beast Mortos for losing tonight, with Rush saying that they have an opportunity next week and that Mortos needs to show the beast that he is. Roberts says The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) are a bunch of squirrels playing around in a tree trying to find a nut, and that they will get no nut and more than they can handle.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry retains the TNT Championship against Action Andretti in an open challenge. After the match, Daniel Garcia heads to the ring and confronts Jack Perry, saying he disagrees with him on a lot of things, especially the belief that they are alike, and calls him a multi-millionaire nepo baby who has had everything handed to him his entire life. Garcia says he fights for his friends and the fans while Perry does not care about anyone at all, and that he will never be anything like him before proclaiming he will be TNT Champion at Full Gear. Perry says Garcia can have the match at Full Gear, but he is not ready.

We see a vignette for Julia Hart confronting a veiled version of her House of Black self who shoots her with a bow and arrow. We then find out it is a nightmare.

We see The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) plug their gear at Shop AEW.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Daniel Garcia. "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, who is nearby, tells Garcia that he is ready for Jack Perry, and all he has to do is prove his friends right and take the TNT Championship.

Before the next match, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne mentions that tonight is the anniversary of AR Fox's father passing and that his father would disown him after what he does to him tonight before proclaiming that "The Prodigy never forgets."

"The Prodigy" Nick Wayne beats AR Fox. After the match, Nick Wayne has Kip Sabian hold AR Fox down so that he can staple a photo of AR Fox with his dad onto AR Fox's forehead with a staple gun.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden). Mansoor says they have slid into Johnny TV's DMs regarding taking part in a trios match and are waiting for a response when he responds saying he has a match with Daniel Garcia and that they can join him at ringside. After Johnny TV approves of the picture of Mason Madden's hog - his pet pig - they try to leave Johnny TV style, but the backstage hand pushing the cart they are on accidentally goes the other way at first.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii). During the match, Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir show up, but so does Orange Cassidy and Rocky "Azucar" Romero. As O'Reilly has Wheeler Yuta in an ankle lock near theend of the match, however, Claudio slides a metal folding chair into the ring, allowing Marina Shafir to interfere behind the referee's back, allowing The Death Riders to retain. After the match, Orange Cassidy hits Wheeler Yuta with an Orange Punch before going after Jon Moxley starting a brawl on the outside that Orange Cassidy finishes.

5 Year Anniversary - Dynamite recap for October 2, 2024

We hear from The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli). PAC says that war is upon them and that "The American Dragon) Bryan Danielson is more than he thinks he is. Claudio says he is still the same guy and says Bryan knows where to find him if he wants to talk. Marina Shafir speaks in Romanian, then Jon Moxley says they will have Bryan's world title belt or else there will be consequences as he also tells Bryan that he has a chance to go out on his shield and be buried in his backyard. He then says that on October 12th, he officially relieves him of duty, and that he is sending Daddy home for good.

Before the next match, Don Callis, wanting to talk with Will Ospreay concerning last week, wishes Will Ospreay the best of luck in the ring before he, Kyle Fletcher and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita leave to catch a flight.

Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay ends in a double pinfall and a draw with both men's shoulders on the mat as Ricochet is on top of Ospreay...almost. The match is restarted by Tony Khan, but both men are soon attacked by "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, who hits Ospreay with a knee and Ricochet with Raging Fire. Takeshita then brings the International Championship to the ring and raises it up in the middle of the ring. Will Ospreay retains the AEW International Championship.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mercedes Moné and Kamille. Mercedes says that while she has been but a small part of AEW's history, she has nevertheless put together a video package of her time in the company, which we then see. Mercedes then says that the best moments in AEW are all about her, then MVP soon shows up agreeing with her and hands her his business card.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn), but Austin is attacked from behind with a metal folding chair by "Hangman" Adam Page. Colten Gunn fights Hangman, but fares no better.

"The Redwood" Big Bill is in the ring. He says that is is not about the destination, but who we become as people along the way in celebration of five years of AEW and that everyone has become better thanks to "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho. It's time for "TV Time with 'The Learning Tree' Chris Jericho." Jericho heads to the ring with "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith, then takes the microphone. Jericho congratulates AEW on five years and their brand-new TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, saying they made a bunch of "experts" look like idiots before saying there would be no TV deal if it were not for him. Bryan Keith starts a "Thank You, Chris" chant. Jericho also states that today is the 34th anniversary of his professional wrestling debut and says that it is such an unbelievable feeling not just being an eight-time world champion, but also mentoring future superstars and getting as much TV time as he can. He then talks about selling out Arena Mexico and beating Mark Briscoe as of late and that it is time to introduce a new era of Jericho, saying "The Ocho" is out and "El Nueve" is in before challenging Mark Briscoe for the ROH World title at WrestleDream. The Conglomeration shows up, and Mark Briscoe heads to the ring. Briscoe says this is between him and Jericho, and Jericho calls Big Bill and Bryan Keith off so that Mark and Jericho are the only two men in the ring. Briscoe says that being a man means not making excuses, and while he could make excuses and state that he had Jericho beaten in New York City, they were in a tornado tag team match where anything was legal, and he is calling it like it is. Mark Briscoe then calls Jericho one of the most influential and finest pro wrestlers in the last four decades, as it works out well for him that Jericho pinned him, as Jericho is in line for a title shot that he personally looks forward to. He says that the word of the day is "consequential," as he will consequentially beat Chris Jericho to retain his championship, but Jericho says Mark Briscoe cannot beat him before stating that maybe his brother Jay Briscoe could have. Jericho then says that Mark will never be as good as Jay was, and Mark Briscoe chops him in the jaw, demands that Jericho keep his brother's name out of his mouth, and tells him that if he wants to go that far, then he will get a Briscoe Brothers-style ass whupping. He then calls the knock down "consequential."

We hear from Darby Allin, who talks about how he was on a bus when he turned around and saw three men taking turns spitting on the back of his head and actually did something about it, and how he was reminded of those three guys when Jon Moxley told him he was not ready to be World Champion. He says he put everything on the line against Moxley and that it should have been him going on to WrestleDream, and while he says he is ready to be the face of AEW, he and the fans are both losing faith in himself and all he can do is face. Darby says he will be at WrestleDream, and puts out an open challenge to anyone in the locker room who wants to make a name for himself, as he has nothing left to lose.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Juice Robinson after grabbing the referee while Juice has a hold of Hangman from behind, leaving him free to hit a low blow followed by a Buckshot Lariat for the win. During the match, it is announced that Title Tuesday is next Tuesday at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central. After the match, Hangman pulls his leather belt off of his tights and chokes and hangs Juice off the side of the ring again. Suddenly, "Switchblade" Jay White shows up for the first time in months and attacks Hangman from behind. Hangman escapes the ring and tries to flee through the crowd, but Jay White catches up to him, chops him multiple times, thumbs Hangman in both eyes, and Spears Hangman through the table that Hangman set up near the crowd.

Backstage, Renee Paquette waits for and gets an interviw with "Scapegoat" Jack Perry as soon as Perry gets out of his van, but "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata shows up and challenges Perry for the TNT title at WrestleDream. Perry says he will think about it and walks away, then suddenly blindsides Shibata and tells him that he accepts.

We hear from "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, who tells Jon Moxley that their match for the AEW World Championship is bigger than the both of them and that they have broken the system that professional wrestling was built on, which is why he challenged "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. He says that he and Okada both have a win apiece, and while Okada has broken his orbital bone, he has not broken his spirit. He says that his title is on the line for the whole match while Okada's is contested for only twenty minutes, but he would not want it any other way.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. beats "The Professor" Serena Deeb with the Lockjaw. During the match, "The Glamour" Mariah May is seen watching from the crowd. After the match, Serena attacks Britt and puts her in the Serenity Lock, but Queen Aminata runs into the ring and fights Serena, who soon flees the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Hook and mentions the attack on his father Taz from earlier today. An angry Hook says he will find who did this and come after them.

We hear from Christian Cage, who says that the fans have not seen anything from him yet after five years, for he is the face of AEW now and forever, the fans' father figure and the next World Champion, and soon enough, he will have it all, hook, line and sinker.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Glamour" Mariah May. Mariah May says Willow Nightingale has been "failing up" her way to the AEW Women's World Championship, then Willow confronts her, telling her to say what she has to say to her face. Mariah slaps Willow, Willow slaps Mariah back, and both women have to be kept apart.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson). During the match, Stokely Hathaway is seen watching the match from backstage. After the match, Kassidy says he and Marq Quen promised they would be tag team champs in 2024 and that they meant every word, and that despite the injuries that they have suffered through the year, they will become tag team champions. He says that they beat The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) once and that they can beat them again, then says that they are feeling froggy and they can do it right now. The Young Bucks appear from behind the video screen, and Nicholas says AEW cannot have an anniversary show without the people who built the company. Matthew mentions that they have an overrun tonight and that he has an idea, then says they can put the tag team titles on the line right now before mentioning that they have limited dates and will not waste one of them on Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As The Young Bucks leave, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry shows up and attacks Marq Quen, then The Young Bucks run into the ring and join Perry. Suddenly, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata runs into the ring to even the numbers, and The Young Bucks and Jack Perry flee. Interim Executive Vice President Christopher Danielson shows up and says Private Party has been a thorn in The Young Bucks' side since the beginning of AEW and that he would love to see them piss The Young Bucks off. He then proposes a six-man match between the team of Private Party and Shibata and The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry) on Rampage.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews MVP, who is about to make an announcement when Prince Nana shows up and says MVP talked spicy about him and Swerve, and says MVP forgot he used to be a wrestler and that he will lace his boots up for him. MVP says that sounds like a complaint and that he does not do complaints, then introduces Shelton Benjamin, whom he calls the head of the complaint department. Shelton drinks from Prince Nana's coffee cup, then walks off with it alongside MVP.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson retains the AEW World Championship against "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada with a backslide pin after Claudio Castagnoli and PAC show up to watch from the front row. During the match, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada's AEW Continental Championship was also being defended, but Danielson failed to win the match within the first twenty minutes; therefore, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Continental Championship. After the match, Okada hits Danielson with another Rainmaker, then blames Claudio and PAC for his loss before storming to the back. Claudio and PAC get in the ring and hold Danielson up for Jon Moxley, who soon shows up and tells Danielson that he is playing for something much bigger for himself and that he is doing what he is doing because he has to. He says that if it were up to him, he would have put Danielson out of his misery a long time ago. All of a sudden, Wheeler Yuta runs into the ring with a hammer and scares The Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Claudio, PAC) out of the ring, then Jon Moxley gets back in the ring and looks at Wheeler. Wheeler dares Moxley to give him a reason to hit him, and Danielson attacks Moxley. Danielson and Wheeler fight off The Blackpool Combat Club, who are sent into a retreat, and Wheeler says he is sick of Claudio and PAC treating him like a child, for he is his own man who can make his own decision and fight his own fights. He then says that if they want to go through Danielson next week, they will have to go through him. Danielson then joins in, making the challenge a tag team match.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 11, 2024

We see the aftermath of The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley), "The Problem" Marina Shafir and PAC betraying "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. Jon Moxley says Bryan Danielson does not have the stomach for this, and says The Blackpool Combat Club pledged to create something that would last for years that they could be proud of. He then says AEW is full of egos that are out of control and that he cannot take it anymore, then says he has been put here to become the one true king of these lands. He says that Danielson's approach of diplomacy has failed and that he chooses war.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Patriachy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wanye, Killswitch, Mama Wayne) in the ring to start tonight's show. Christian Cage says that according to Nick Wayne, he has infinite aura, and since he has carried AEW on his back for the last year-and-a-half, he would say this is true, but with his contract, it is undeniable. He admits the year did not start off the way it wanted, and that they had to rally. He says that when Killswitch was about to choke slam him, Killswitch realized what he is and what he needed to be: a monster and the most complete big man in the business today. Christian says he was about to cash in his contract, but realized that Saturday was not the right time or place. He then says that Bryan Danielson's days are nothing and that being suffocated with a bag will be nothing compared to what he does to him. Christian proclaims that he will beat Danielson so badly that Brie Bella will wish she had CTE so she could not comprehend the beating, then declares that he is absolutely the next AEW World Champion. Kip Sabian is seen in the crowd as The Patriarchy leaves.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis, Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita. Ospreay agrees to take part in the match for Fletcher.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry retains the TNT Championship against Lio Rush.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews "Scapegoat" Jack Perrry. Perry says people like him are crucified in this life so they can be celebrated in the next before getting back in his black Ford E-350.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Hangman says that if he had found one thousand house that Swerve Strickland called home, he would have burned one thousands houses to ashes, and he would have waited an eternity to make Swerve pay for what he did to him and his family. He says that he meant everything he had done to Swerve, and for those who witnessed it, he wants them to make no mistake that he meant it, and if anyone stood in his way of Swerve, then he will find them and hurt them. All of a sudden, Hangman attacks someone, then starts staring down Top Flight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Leila Grey), Action Andretti, The Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, Alex Reynolds) and even Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett says his family has seen people like Hangman take the same path, and while he is going the extra mile, it will end with him full of guilt, shame, remorse and regret. He tells Hangman that he will regret laying his hands on his wife and that he will find out that his most dangerous enemy will be the man in the mirror. Hangman then attacks Jarrett, saying nobody asked him before security shows up to force Hangman out.

Before the next match, The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley), "The Problem" Marina Shafir, and PAC attack everyone involved in the next match. PAC says they have been patient, but enough is enough, and that AEW is broken. He says that what happened at All Out was inevitable, and that they are inevitable "as a product of this festering environment." PAC says he was lost for a long time, but now he has a new purpose. He says diplomacy has failed, and the company is theirs.

Backstage, The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) arrive in a blue Bentley convertible. Jericho says today is a gloroius day to be in The Learning Tree with his new car, his best top students in Bryan Keith and Big Bill, and the $7,000 jacket that Orange Cassidy ruined when he poured orange juice all over it four years ago. This is why he has taken Orange's backpack as collateral, and while he did not find his money in the backpack, he did find something interesting, which he will reveal later tonight. Big Bill says that "thou who does not pay his debt will suffer the consequences." Bryan Keith says "Suffer the damn consequences!"

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who says that defending the Continental Championship at All Out was the hardest night of his life, but he did it, and it was easy. Don Callis and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita show up, with Callis saying that Okada only won because he did not pin Takeshita. Okada says that Takeshita will not be Continental Champion, leaves, then returns and calls Callis a bitch before Takeshita confronts him.

Darby Allin heads to the ring. Darby says that somebody has been looking for him and that he is right here. Jon Moxley and "The Problem" Marina Shafir show up and head to the ring. Moxley says he does not know what Darby has seen or heard, then says nothing has changed between them. Darby tells Moxley he has had enough and that there is a lot to talk about. Darby says that they came from nothing and that they are fighting to make sure they never go back, and says that he wrestles the way that he does because he takes nothing for granted and AEW gave him everything. Darby says he tried to look for a hero in his first year in wrestling, and every time he thought he found that hero, they showed their true colors. He says that Moxley was the exception and that he wanted to be like him. He says that Moxley wrestled in a high school gym on the independents, and while he lost their match in the indies, he knew he belonged in the ring with someone like Moxley. Darby says he looked up to Moxley until he turned on Bryan Danielson, and decided not to be like him anymore. He wants to know what Moxley wants from him. Moxley tells him that he will not face Danielson at Grand Slam, as Danielson is "indisposed" and Darby is not ready to be World Champion, and demands Darby hand his shot at the World Championship to him. Darby asks if Moxley has been dropped on his head or started drinking again, and says that Moxley is starting to sound entitled. He then tells Moxley to do something about it if he wants that world title shot so badly, and Moxley says that if he has to earn it, he will earn it at Grand Slam on September 25th. He then says that he will beat Darby and that Darby will never be World Champion, and says that he does not have time to explain everything to him before telling Darby that the world title shot will be his and that he will have to teach him the lesson the hard way. Darby accepts Moxley's challenge, and admits that while he does not know what Moxley is trying to do, he will push Moxley into the fire if he is trying to burn AEW down.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Interim EVP Christopher Daniels. He says Darby Allin is a risk-taker and that what he is doing is unneccesary. Nigel McGuinness shows up and says that he needs to meet with him and Tony Khan, as they will both want to hear what he has to say.

After the match, Mariah says she still has yet to have her championship celebration, as something is missing and someone is missing. She then says that someone is Mira Shirakawa, who she asks to come back.

After the match, Mariah says she still has yet to have her championship celebration, as something is missing and someone is missing. She then says that someone is Mira Shirakawa, who she asks to come back.

Backstage, we hear from The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Matthew says that when they formed AEW, they wanted the greatest tag team division of all time, but now they have realized it is just them, because they are doing all the heavy lifting and nobody can beat them. He says that the fans should be mad at the rest of the division for not being good enough to replace them, and Nicholas says that they have created tonight's Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match to see if any team can do just that before announcing that they will be watching live.

The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson) in a trios match. After the match, Jericho mentions Orange Cassidy ruining his $7,000 jacket over four years ago, then states that Orange will not give him his money and that he will continue to take Orange's things. Jericho pulls out a portrait of Orange with his former best friends in Kris Statlander, Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta and says that Orange is still obsessed with friendship, telling him that there are no friends in wrestling and that he is being used. He then demands that Orange let go of his friendships and give him his $7,000, then Orange shows up on the video screen and says that "the boys" are bringing the cash. Mark Briscoe and Kyle O'Reilly then show up on a bulldozer and pours a whole bunch of coins into Jericho's Bentley.

Nigel McGuinness is in the ring. He announces that with Darby Allin putting his world title opportunity on the line, he says there will not be a world title match at Grand Slam. He says this is great for the champion, who is probably "strapped to an iron lung gasping for air like Justin Roberts when he was being choked out with his own tie," it is not good for AEW. He says that as a former World Champion, he feels Grand Slam should have the World Champion competing at the very least. He pulls out a contract, saying he has had to watch Danielson's career from the sidelines for years as an afterthought and postscript to a career that should have been his, and that Danielson is afraid of him and the one match that everyone wants to see. McGuinness then says Tony Khan is not afraid and knows a money match when he sees one, and at Grand Slam, it will be Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness, and while he can guarantee that Oasis will play him to the ring, he asks if Danielson will join him in the final countdown or if we will see the final match of "The American Dragon" before telling Danielson that the ball is in his court.

We hear from Hook, who says that he respects Roderick Strong and considers him one of the best wrestlers worldwide. He then says that his respect for him has been disturbed after Undisputed Kingdom's attack and Roderick complaining about his foot being under the ropes. He says he has fought tooth and nail to take back the FTW Championship, and wants to know when Roderick Strong will challenge him and try to take his title from him.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) watch the next match from the stage.

Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher win the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match to face The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Grand Slam.

Mark Briscoe beats Lance Archer in a Continental Challenge Match to advance to the Four-Way Match for the AEW Continental Championship at All Out.

Backstage, we hear from The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith). Chris Jericho says The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii) is a well-oiled machine with each member being a cog in the machine that makes them roll. He says it is time for Tomohito Ishii to go back to Japan, and while he has wanted to wrestle Ishii again, now is not the time. Big Cass says time is the most valuable commodity that the human race has, but time must run out for all men. Bryan Keith says this is especially true of Ishii, who is down on the floor with a metal folding chair wrapped around his neck.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson). After the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) shows up and brawls in the ring with Grizzled Young Veterans, and Gibson saves Drake from the Shatter Machine. Jacked Jameson gets in the ring and raises FTR's hands, but he earns a Shatter Machine for his efforts.

We see a video package for PAC vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championsip at All Out.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Orange Cassidy. Orange says his schedule may be full if he wins tonight, but his backpack will not. He plans to punch "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith in the mouth for what he did to Tomohiro Ishii, then he will put the Continental Championship in his backpack next to the $7,000 in cash at All Out.

Orange Cassidy beats "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith in a Continental Challenge Match to advance to the Four-Way Match for the AEW Continental Championship at All Out.

Backstage, "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho - who is standing near Orange Cassidy's dressing room - congratulates Orange Cassidy on his big win, then says that since he will not get the $7,000 that he took from him, he will take something from Orange: his backpack. Jericho says he will keep the backpack until Orange gives him his money back.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Mercedes Moné and Kamille. Mercedes says she is prepared to win like she always is, then wants to know why Interim EVP Christopher Daniels has to be in his business. She says Kamille may be banned from ringside tomorrow night, but that does not mean she is banned tonight, and tells the fans to stay tuned to see what happens when someone messes with her.

The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) beat Bang and Matthews (Davey Bang and August Matthews). With this match, The Outrunners achieve their first-ever victory in AEW.

Backstage, Renee Paquette hosts a sit-down meeting between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander. Statlander says she cared about Willow Nightingale to the point that she gave her a shot at the TBS Championship, but when she lost the TBS Championship, she never got her rematch, and Willow won it soon afterwards. Willow says she was trying to get to AEW and that she was happy for Statlander, and says that Statlander was the last person she expected to stab her in the back. Statlander mentions that Willow failed to give her a title rematch when she held the TBS title despite knowing how much it meant to her, and says it was always about Willow. Willow accuses Stokely Hathaway of getting in Statlander's ear, but Statlander says Stokely has nothing to do with this and that it is between just them. Willow admits she feels blindsided and wishes she had known, but nothing matters now and that what really matters is that she makes Statlander pay. Statlander is glad that their match at All Out is a street fight, as Willow can create physical scars to go with the emotional ones and Willow can be lucky that she is a calm, cool and collected person who knows when the right time to strike is.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita beats The Beast Mortos in a Continental Challenge Match to advance to the Four-Way Match for the AEW Continental Championship at All Out.

Backstage, we hear from Saraya and Harley Cameron. Saraya says that Jamie Hayter is "the biggest slag to ever slag" when she disrespected her and her family at All In before beating up Harley, and calls Hayter a stalker. She says they will stalk Hayter back and that she will not like what happens the next time they have a match.

Backstage, we hear from "The Glamour" Mariah May. She says that when the AEW Women's World Championship touched her waist, it marked a new moment in wrestling history. She says that gets off on fights and does not run away from them, and that she has not shaken hands with anyone in the locker room because she knows the best way to know a woman is to make her scream. She says the world needs glamor and that she has yet to have her championship celebration, and with All Out around the corner, and that nothing is more worth the money than watching her be her. Mariah then says the saddest part about being herself is that she will never get to meet Mariah May.

Hikaru Shida beats "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo. After the match, Mercedes Moné shows up, but it is all a distraction so that Kamille can show up and attack Shida from behind. Mercedes grabs Shida's shinai, but when she swings it, Shida ducks and Kamille gets nailed instead. Shida fights off Kamille, then hits Mercedes with the Katana after holding onto the ropes to keep from being grabbed by Mercedes.

Backstage, Arkady Aura interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Cash Wheeler says that Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) keep running away, and Dax Harwood says they remind him of "a less-talented FTR" before challenging them to a tag team match next week.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn). Max Caster says he is the best wrestler alive and that The Acclaimed have done a lot this year, and that the tag team division cannot beat them and the road to the tag titles continues. All of a sudden, MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) shows up and says The Acclaimed should only be claiming bankruptcy, food stamps and unemployment and that the fans want them, not The Acclaimed, as they beat The House of Black (Brody King and Buddy Matthews). Bowens reminds MxM Collection that everyone loves The Acclaimed and thta they are the only team around here that does "finger stuff."

The Blackpool Combat Club ("The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta,) and PAC beat The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry) in an eight-man tag team match that goes past Collision and lasts until after the first commercial break of Rampage.

Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe, who says tonight is the night where The Beast Mortos challenges him for the ROH World Championship after pinning him on Dynamite a few weeks ago, then tells The Beast Mortos to get a time machine to get rid of his win on Mark Briscoe, as he is about to get an ass whupping.

MxM Collection (Mansoor and Madden) beat Pillars of Destiny (Hunter Grey and Parviz).

In backstage footage from last week, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty says his Pure Championship reign is a new chapter, and while Action Andretti impressed him, this is the beginning of "the Pure Renaissance." Shane Taylor says everything has led to this and has made Lee Moriarty one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet, then says that he leads by example and to be the leader he needs to be, he must become ROH World Champion, and the only reason he is not is because his shoulder is hurt. He says it will not be long before he comes back, and tells Mark Briscoe to keep the ROH World Championship shined up for him because he will come back for what is his.

Angelico beats Aaron Solo in a Pure Rules Match after Aaron Solo uses all his rope breaks and cannot rope break his way out of the Navarro Death Roll.

Trish Adora beats Erica Leigh.

We hear from The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). Vincent says he has seen people come and go, and that he and Dutch have been here since they had a penny in their pocket, and now everything has changed. He says there are people hiding under masks and people with egos eating away at them until their flesh is off the bone. Dutch says some people fear is but a fleeting moment, but here, it is the only company that they have, and there is nothing like a little fear to make a paper man crumble. Lance Archer suddenly shows up and says everybody dies, and Vincent say is a chess game to the end for everyone and that he can play the deck that anyone can deal him. He then asks "How do you start when we already know how it ends?"

Komander beats KM.

EJ Nduka beats Deonn Rusman.

The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson) beat Jay Alexander, Colton Charles and Rosario Grillo in a six-man tag match.

"The Problem" Marina Shafir beats Tiara James with Mother's Milk.

Backstage, Serpentico congratulates Angelico on his victory tonight, then tells him he should challenge for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship, saying it could make his teacher very proud. Serpentico leaves, then Angelico decides to do it after seeing "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty and admitting that Moriarty is the best technical wrestler in the world today; however, he is not the protegé of Negro Navarro or a master of Yaveo, and challenges Moriarty for the Pure Championship.

Before the next match, Jacoby Watts wants "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, but they reject the offer and beat him and Nick Comoroto up.

"Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard beat Jacoby Watts and Nick Comoroto.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods) are on every show because they equal ratings, and that every episode that Tony Nese is on is the highest-rated episode of all time because he walks, talks, wrestles and wins like a star, and tonight, he will show his opponent what winning is, which the fans know nothing about.

Lio Rush beats Tony Nese after hitting "Smart" Mark Sterling with a tope suicida for getting physically involved in the match.

Mark Briscoe retains the ROH World Championship against The Beast Mortos.

Thursday, August 1, 2024

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for August 1, 2024

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson says that their opponents are "fake Texas tough guys" just like the fans who think that jeans, boots and a cowboy hat makes them like John Wayne when they look more like Dolly Parton. He then says they will show what a couple of true tough guys look like.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson).

In backstage footage from Death Before Dishonor, Mark Briscoe celebrates his title retention then says that the more things change, the more they stay the same, and that Roderick Strong is as tough as ever, even though he is still the champion. He also thanks the rest of The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii) for having his back.

Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) - now accompanied by flight attendant Leila Grey - beat Ace of Space Academy (LSG and GKM).

Backstage, we hear from The Infantry ("The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora). Shawn Dean says they are on a roll, but they are not getting the same opportunities as other teams, and while he and Shawn Dean are friends with Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin), it should be them getting on TV. Trish Adora then mentions Leila Grey becoming their new flight attendant, much to Carlie Bravo's annoyance, and Shawn Dean then puts the entire tag team division on notice.

Robyn Renegade beats Maya World.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Anthony Henry when a random guy named Beef - who is Anthony's second cousin by marriage - shows up and says he has sent ROH an e-mail, and it is implied that he is here to wrestle. He and Anthony then leave.

The Beast Mortos beats AR Fox.

We hear from MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) backstage. Mansoor thanks the fans for their support and says that Dax Harwood chopping him is not the first or last time a burly man will leave a mark on his breasts. Mason Madden says they take on all comers, and that they always come out on top.

Wheeler Yuta beats Anthony Henry. Beef is seen in the corner of the front row during the match.

In backstage footage from Death Before Dishonor, we hear from "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, who says that success and failure is taught to go hand in hand and that you cannot have one without the other, as with every failure comes learning, growth and improvement. He says that he took those failures and shortcomings and overcame them to become ROH Pure Champion by beating arguably one of the best Pure Champions of all time in Wheeler Yuta. Moriarty says he is here to stay, as he is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world with the hardware to back it up, and if anyone wants to get in the ring with him, they had better be ready for a long night, as this is the renaissance period of the Pure Division.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) beat The Supastarz (Nikki Eight and Tommy Mars).

Backstage, we hear from Anthony Henry. Henry admits that things did not go his way, then Beef shows up with a bottled water and tells Henry that he had his match in the bag. He then sees the camera and says that in his family, there are no losers, and they are going to go out there and "do it and do it hard."

Before the next match, Jacoby Watts introduces himself to Fuego del Sol as the answer to his question and the light to his darkness, and says that if he had someone like him in his life, he would never have left. Fuego del Sol answers with a drop kick.

Fuego del Sol beats Jacoby Watts.

In backstage footage from Death Before Dishonor, Athena thanks Lexy Nair for a job well done on the plan to help her retain the ROH Women's World Championship, seemingly favoring Lexy over Billie Starkz. Nevertheless, Billie Starkz says she is for the team.

"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Rocky "Azucar" Romero.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). When told that they will do whatever it takes to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships, Taven says that everything he has said to the camera is the truth and that he delivers like "The Mailman" Karl Malone, which is why they are approaching one year as tag team champions. Mike Bennett says he is offended by the "whatever it takes" line and that they are the best tag team in the world. Suddenly, The Infantry ("The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora), with Shawn Dean saying that this is their time and that the last time that they and Undisputed Kingdom met, they were on a roll just like they are now. Carlie Bravo lists off the accomplishments that they have made on ROH as of late, then Shawn Dean says that Undisputed Kingdom screwed them out of the title and they want another championship match. Taven says that those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it, and they are going to do just that, while Bennett says that they are going to get the same results as last time because they are insane.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes heads to the ring. He says that he just saw The Von Erichs (Kerry, Marshall and Ross Von Erich) and says it has been a long time since he had a title around his waist, and that he would have not done this for five decades with a big heart and have had the time of his life had it not been for the fans, as there would be no show without them. He calls this past Saturday night "one for the books" for him, and says Marshall and Ross Von Erich are very special and very talented and that they are going to learn so much from him, and hopes that they will take the Six-Man titles to the next level. He says that he is still feeling the energy from winning the Six-Man titles, which he says was a special night. Dustin then mentions that he has been on his "one last ride" for the last five years and he hopes it does not end because he is having the time of his life, then mentions that he misses "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes every day and mentions how he told him to "keep steppin'" when he called him daily for the last sixteen years. Dustin says that he is on a high and feels confident, and that he wants more. Suddenly, Evil Uno shows up and asks Dustin if he has had enough after five decades, as he has robbed The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) of the Six-Man titles. He then bashes the Texan fans for smacking the microphone out of his hands, and while he respects what Dustin has done, Dustin only wants more because of his family name, and he does not care about his or the Von Erich's family names. Evil Uno says he has been here every single week working his ass off, then calls Dustin the most selfish individual in professional wrestling, saying he has taken something away from him that he has worked day in and day out that he has worked for for The Dark Order, and if Dustin will take something away, then he will take Dustin's last ride from him. Dustin is attacked from behind by John Silver and Alex Reynolds while Evil Uno, but all of a sudden, Sammy Guevara suddenly shows up and single-handedly fights off The Dark Order. Reynolds and Silver soon retreat, and Evil Uno says Guevara is just as selfish and that "Dark Order is Ring of Honor, not [Guevara]." Dustin is hesitant to trust Guevara at first as the fans chant "Thank you, Sammy," but he eventually shakes his hand.

Here is the recap for tonight's show!

Collision Course - Collision recap for July 6, 2024

MJF heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He says that everyone in the building is "inbred and incredibly stupid," and demands that everyone keeps their mouths shut. MJF calls Daniel Garcia "nothing more than a pawn," then says their match at All In was never going to happen, as he was always going to stab him in the back and break his neck, and says he is a "Make-A-Wish Kid" at best and was trying to grant him his wish even though it was not real and never answered. He then says Daniel Garcia will never wrestle again, much less make it to All In, then says he is here to talk to the fans. He replays his promo from the August 2, 2023 where he talks about his attention deficit disorder as well as his rejection sensitive disorder as well as how he was made fun of as a kid, then says he opened up to the fans and knew that if he did, it would tear his heart if the fans turned on him, and yet the fans did not give a damn. MJF says he did so much for the fans, but the fans repaid him after his friend stabbed him in the back and Samoa Joe took the AEW World Championship by chanting "Thank You Joe" after Worlds End while he was in physical therapy trying to regain movement in his left arm and cast him aside for other wrestlers. MJF says that what he did to Daniel Garcia was personal not between himself and Garcia, but between himself and the fans, and Garcia was just the tip of the iceberg. He says that he will take away everything that the fans love in AEW because everything they love sucks, and because the fans have ruined the company he loves with their "garbage tastes." He says that he will fix this by getting back on top, even though the fans want Will Ospreay (who he calls a "talented hack") and are too delusional to realize that he cannot help the company like he can because he is a child who only cares about putting on good matches and not ticket sales or making money. MJF says the only ratings Ospreay cares about are from "a guy named Meltzer" while the ratings he cares about are from "a guy named Nielsen." He then proposes that he and Ospreay "pop a number right here, right now" and threatens to get medieval on him, saying that he will sacrifice him like "the billy goat" that he claims to be. Will Ospreay's music hits, but Ospreay fails to show, and MJF grins before saying that Ospreay is not coming because he is a "two-faced, fickle, gutless coward" just like the fans.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly). O'Reilly admits they are "bummed out" after Forbidden Door, but Mark Briscoe says he is not despite, then says the word of the day is "epiphany" and that he had anepiphany that failure is a figment of one's imagination and nothing but a stepping stone to the throne. He says they are in the shadow of one of the most important cities in wrestling history - Memphis, Tennessee - and that they are about to bring a "historical ass whupping" to The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson). Briscoe heads to the ring, and O'Reilly says Mark Briscoe knows how to pull a guy out of a dark abyss. Orange says "I don't care."

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson says everyone loves The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly) because they represent them, but they do not stand a chance. He says that Mark Briscoe is called "The Sussex County Chicken" because his bones are brittle, and Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy look like they belong on the bottom of an evolutionary chart. Shortly after this, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) guests on commentary.

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson) in a trios match. After the match, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) display their disapproval of Kyle O'Reilly being part of The Conglomeration.

We hear from "Scapegoat" Jack Perry, who says that the true cost of anything is what you are willing to sacrifice for it. He says that a long time ago, he was the first-ever challenger to the first-ever TNT Champion, but he was not ready yet because he did not realize how great that cost would be. Perry says that as of tonight, he is paid in full, and he wants to give that opportunity to sacrifice everything and take the TNT Championship from him to somebody else, because if they do not, he will sacrifice them. As he speaks, we only see his reflection in the center plate of the TNT Championship.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Adam Page says that his indefinite suspension has been ended out of convenience - not his, but The Elite's (Nicholas Jackson, Matthew Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry) - and that what was happening to him and his family did not matter to them at all, for at the moment that they thought that they could use him, they brought him back. He then says that even "he" knows that he is really here to burn through the rest of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, head to All In and right a wrong that should have been righted a long time ago, and if it takes his last breath on Earth, he will right that wrong and he will burn "his" world to the ground. He then leaves when "Switchblade" Jay White and his inability to defeat him is mentioned.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Trish Adora.

We see a video package for Willow Nightingale vs. Mariah May in the finals of the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament next week on Dynamite.

We hear from The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Killswitch, Mama Wayne). Christian says that last week, many people were left in awe when "Switchbalde" Jay White confronted The Patriarchy with his words and he seemingly let Jay White get away with it. Christian tells Jay White that he made it personal, as he promised his family the gift of the United Trios Championships for their loyalty to him over the past year, and says that The Bang Bang Gang (Jay White, "Rock Hard' Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) has been on such a run with the titles that he had to Google them to find out who they were. He says that Jay White's head is not in the game, or else he would not have entered the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Christian calls the tournament Jay White's "exit strategy" and says that he cannot blame him as he has surrounded him with a child and "genetic waste." Christian says he will do Jay White a favor and take the Unitied Trios Championships off his hands to revive them and make them the most important titles on AEW on the road to the AEW World Championship, and that it will make Tony Khan and the AEW fanbase happy, as the fans are tired of seeing The Bang Bang Gang consistently tread water while simultaneously getting the Jay White they thought they would get when he signed to the company. All of a sudden, Christian sees Kip Sabian, who says that he recently lost his father and that he meant no disrespect being near camera shot. Christian says he is sure that his father was a loser and that the apple does not fall far from the tree, then tells Kip Sabian that his day is about to get a whole lot worse as he sics Killswitch on him on the way out.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry's challenger for the TNT Championship is Marko Stunt, who has not been seen in AEW in some time.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry retains the TNT Championship against Marko Stunt.

We hear from The House of Black (Malakai Black and Brody King). Malakai Black says they are asked about how they feel regarding Buddy Matthews, but they do not feel anything, as they do not sweat out their fevers like others do. He says that revenge is not a straight line and is more of an imbalanced scale waiting to be tipped back into perfect balance, as well as a shadow hiding in the dark waiting to be put back into the light. Brody King says that they feel nothing, Christian Cage will feel everything.

We see a video package for "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. the winner of "Switchblade" Jay White vs. "Hangman" Adam Page in the finals of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Claudio Castagnoli beats The Beast Mortos.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard. Menard says that he now has a concussion after earlier this week, and that Daniel Garcia is at home in Buffalo, New York, and while he has lost all strength in the left side of his body, he will make a full recovery and eventually get his hands on MJF when he is cleared, and when that happened, he will get "Red Death."

We see someone jumping into a portal.

We hear from Serena Deeb, who says that she is glad that Riho is back, and that people still talk about their match from Double or Nothing 2021. She says that if Riho wants a rematch, that is fine, but she is not the same person from 2021 and has evolved into the best in-ring wrestler in the women's division.

Riho beats Lady Frost with a new Kofi Kingston-esque SOS-style called the Runhei.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo), Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti. Shane Taylor says that his team have given Top Flight and Andretti a pass and that they should have whupped their asses a few weeks ago for getting in their business had they not been playing with ladders, but Action Andretti says the wait is over and they will settle things on Rampage. Darius says they are not scared and that they are not ducking Shane Taylor Promotions, and if they want to rumble, they can go. Dante Martin says he earned a spot in the ladder match, then reminds them that Lio Rush cleaned house in their last encounter. Lee Moriarty gets ticked off and wants the match right now, which causes Shane Taylor to hold him back, while Anthony Ogogo says this is not Chuck E. Cheese's and that they will smash them up.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats "Switchblade" Jay White to advance to the finals of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. During the match, Hangman throws Switchblade into referee Paul Turner, knocking him out, then removes his own leather belt and whips and chokes Switchblade with it. Jeff Jarrett shows up and takes the belt away from Hangman before another referee removes him from the match, then Christian Cage shows up from out of the crowd and hits Switchblade with the Spear. Paul Turner comes to and makes the three-count after Hangman hits Switchblade with the Buckshot Lariat.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!

Lexy Nair interviews Athena and Billie Starks as part of an emergency Minion Empowerment Meeting. Athena shows up on crutches and a boot, and she confirms that she is injured. Athena says she tore a couple of ligaments in her ankle and that she will be out for four to six months. She says that she has put the ROH women's division on her back and that she did not think her championship reign would end like this, and that is is best for the division, Ring of Honor and MIT if she keeps the ROH Women's World Championship around her waist, as this is not how her reign will end and she will be ROH Women's World Champion forever. Queen Aminata and Red Velvet show up with a referee, and Aminata says that Athena's head and ego are way too big for the boot on her foot, and questions if she is really hurt before threatening to hurt her for real. Red Velvet says Athena and Billie have been ducking them for weeks, for they have met their match and they are scared. She says that Athena is faking her injury much like Billie Starks faked one to win, and when Billie shoves Aminata, Aminata shoves Billie into Athena, knocking her down. The referee has to keep Billie from going after Queen Aminata and Red Velvet before the medical staff checks on Athena.

Before the next match, Jacoby Watts gets in the ring. All of a sudden, Brandon Cutler says everyone has heard enough and asks if the fans here are educated enough to know what Watts is talkinga bout, then calls Nick Comoroto "[Watts'] little wet noodle" and tells him to put his microphone away for him. "The Problem" Marina Shafir beats Maggie Minerva by submission.

Backstage, we hear from Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Bennett says they have many tag team titles, but they are never mentioned as one of the best tag team titles of all time, and that allows teams like "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard to think they can get a match against them whenever they want. Taven wants to know what their opponents have done since they have been here while they have been cementing their legacy, and says that their success is not a trend that will not be ending any time soon.

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson mocks the fans as well as their opponents, calling them "anorexic" and stating that "Boulder's morning BM" weighs more than them before threatening to relocate them from the "nowhere town" that they come from.

"Legit" Leyla Hirsch beats Diamanté with a counter into an inside cradle. Diamanté attacks Leyla after the match.

Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard as Menard entertains the idea of using one of the tag team titles - which is introduced into the ring by Matt Taven - as a weapon.

Kyle Fletcher retains the ROH World Television Championship against "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Fletcher wins the first fall with a brainbuster followed by a piledriver after the near-fall, after a brainbuster on the apron and a powerbomb afterwards fails to finish the job. Afterwards, Lee Johnson is checked on by medical, and is deemed able to continue. Johnson scores the second fall with an inside cradle after shoving Fletcher into the corner to counter a move. Kyle Fletcher scores the third and deciding fall after Fletcher shoves Johnson into the ref, which allows Fletcher to kick Johnson in the groin and hit a brainbuster into the top turnbuckle to win and retain.

Here is the recap for tonight's show.
