He says that there is nothing like being in the ring for the fan and that every day is a gift, and that Ospreay has earned nothing but more hard work. He says that there are two kinds of eulogies: what a guy did and what a guy was. He knows what kind of eulogy he wants and that nobody sees what Ospreay has like he can and what they have been gifted. Moxley says knows what kind of eulogy he wants and that nobody sees what Ospreay has like he can and what they have been gifted. He states that pro wrestling can be what they make it, as they have what it takes to really be great and do something with their gift. Everyone else follows Moxley, and PAC is the last to walk out of shot. PAC is then honored with a ten-bell salute as the AEW locker room is on the stage. The Death Riders' theme then plays, and a red light is focused on an empty metal folding chair as the camera focuses on Jon Moxley, who heads to the ring for the first match.

Title Tuesday - Dynamite recap for October 8, 2024

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson has been trying to "kamikaze" himself for the last two years and that it has been disconcerting to watch. He says that nobody as of yet possesses the constitution to do it for him, and that as things have turned it up, it has to be him. He says that this is a wake-up call for AEW that nothing lasts forever, and that the fans are living in a fantasy world and will see the truth at WrestleDream. He says there is a dark side to Danielson, saying that Danielson in the ring is a beautiful thing, but when he is provoked, he is truly terrifying. Moxley says Danielson has never been truly comfortable with that part of him, and that as his world closes in around him, he will truly embrace his dark side, and he will be ready. Moxley says there is not enough people in the state of Washington to stop him and what he stands for, as The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta) is too powerful and no weapon can be formed against them. He says he will run into the mouth of war and beyond, and warns everyone to run while they can. Moxley then says that he hopes Danielson understands that it has to be this way, then says he cannot be worried about that now because they stakes are too high.

We hear from "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, who says that tonight will not be his last match on Dynamite when he and Wheeler Yuta run through Claudio Castagnoli and PAC, and that Moxley that he has no idea of what is coming to him at WrestleDream. He says he has been a supporter and friend of Claudio for over twenty years, but tonight, there will be support; only him "kicking [his] fucking head in."

Jeff Jarrett guests on commentary this week.

Darby Allin calls out Brody King. Darby says Brody could have asked nicely, but he knows what he is doing. He brings up their history on the independents, the point that Brody King was at in his career while he was signed to All Elite Wrestle, and how he got Brody a job in AEW after ROH shut down. He says that Brody does not take AEW for granted much like he does, saying that both of their fathers retired and he was able to buy his parents a house. He then says Brody wants his spot as the face of the company, and says that he made it in AEW when he was the guy who was not supposed to make it. Brody says Darby is right, as he has everything he wants, but he does not take it for granted. He says Darby has a death wish, and asks what will happen if Darby were to go to Mount Everest and die, then says Darby can lie to everyone all he wants when he needs someone to save him from himself at the end of the day. Darby dares Brody to put him out of his misery and take his spot, even going so far as to egg him on as bluntly as possible, but Brody tells him to get up out of the corner. Darby slaps Brody, but Brody punches him back. Brody grabs Darby, but Darby hits Brody with a rock. Brody is busted open by the time security shows up, and Darby is still egging Brody on.

Don Callis shows up and meets with Jake Roberts, saying he has concluded the first ever management-to-management transfer in AEW history, and announces that Lance Archer is now with Callis. When asked who he received in trade, Roberts says "You like surprises? Well, so do I."

After the match, Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up on the stage, then both Hologram and Komander are attacked from behind by Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos. As the three of them raise their fists in the air, so does Roberts, and it is revealed that they are now potentially under Roberts' management.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Mark Briscoe. Mark says "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho has messed up and did not have to take things far, then tells him he does not want him in the place that he is at. He then says it is no longer about the ROH World Championship and that he is going to hurt Jericho.

Daniel Garcia heads to the ring. He says that it is great to see the fans and that he has missed being in the ring, then thanks Tony Khan for giving him this time. He says he has had time to think while sitting at home about what is best for him, and that he does not want to be a guy who does not follow up on his word or disappears without an explanation, and that he would rather tell everyone what he is going to do. Garcia says he can do whatever he wants, because he is one of the best professional wrestlers in the world, and because of that, it is only right that he stays where the best wrestle in AEW. Garcia then promises that the is not the same guy who gets "little bro'd" by everyone in the back and complains when he loses a match, but the guy who builds AEW and starts changing everything in the company, and he will start with gold around his waist. He announces to all champions that he is not safe, because they have what he wants, and that "the feeling is restored."

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mercedes Moné and "The Brickhouse" Kamille. Mercedes says everyone wants to jump on "the money train," and says she has all the respect in Emi Sakura, especially when she has been wrestling longer than she has been alive, before snickering. She says it is not the first time she will throw a coin or the last, because money changes everything.

Backstage, Daniel Garcia is welcome back by the locker room, then runs into "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata, who says that the TNT Championship will be around his waist before welcoming Garcia back.

During the match, Penelope Ford shows up for the first time in quite some time and attacks Jamie Hayter from behind with a chair, and Hayer chases her to the back. After the match, Willow confronts "The Glamour" Mariah May on the stage, and while she catches the slap, Mariah headbutts her before hitting her with the Women's World Championship.

Backstage, we hear from The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith). Big Bill says the people who need lessons the most want them the least, then The Learning Tree meet with Rocky "Azucar" Romero to help him with his self-esteem, with Jericho saying that The Conglomeration do not have faith in him and that he still ended up on his back while his friends celebrated in the ring when they faced The Learning Tree. When Jericho asks Romero if he is a lackey, Romero says he is no man's lackey, but Jericho says they are just trying to teach him a lesson. Big Bill says that "When you're in the picture, you can't see the big picture." Bryan Keith demands that Jericho be respected as the next ROH World Champion, or else.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Cody Chhun. After the match, Jay White says that "Hangman" Adam Page is one of two men who knocked him off his path to the AEW World Championship and is therefore one of two wrongs that he must right. He says that he made it very clear to Hangman last week, then asks what he is going to do about it, saying that Hangman will not be quiet about it and will be coming for him because he meddled in his business. Jay White says this is exactly what he wants, and that he wants Hangman in a match once more. He then says that when he puts an end to the new Hangman, then he will right the other wrong and move on to the gold. Jay White then addresses the same voices that have booed and despised him for years, saying they have willed "Hangman" Adam Page into existence, and says the road to the world championship starts with Hangman at WrestleDream.

Backstage, we hear from Hook, who says that he is done chasing whoever attacked his father Taz. Kip Sabian accidentally backs into him, and pleads that he did not do it and that he does not know anything before running away. Hook says he will be in the arena all night, then The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Mama Wayne) show up, with Christian Cage asking if he has seen Sabian. Hook says he hasn't (even though he clearly has), and asks if Christian has anything to say to him. Christian says they are both family men who have "been through it this past week," as he has lost Killswitch to a serious medical situation last week and sympathizes with Hook on the loss of his father. The Partriachy leave.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Glamour" Mariah May when Willow Nightingale attacks Mariah and says she has said enough before stating she has beaten three former Women's World Champions before saying she will make Mariah a former champ and become the new champion.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship and the New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Women's Championship against Emi Sakura after grabbing onto the ring skirt, distracting referee Stephon Smith so that "The Brickhouse" Kamille can hit a cheap shot. After the match, Mercedes and Kamille are about to gang up on Emi Sakura when Kris Statlander slides into the ring and brawls with Kamille when Mercedes retreats. Statlander quickly gets the upper hand, and Mercedes has to hold Kamille back.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy). Stokely Hathaway shows up and says that Private Party has been knocking opportunities out of the park for the past two weeks, then says that he has taken down the most lovable person in All Elite Wrestling. Stokely says that if he can do that, then he can work wonders for Private Party, who he says all the tools and is just missing him. Marq Quen wants to know where Stokely was when they were suffering, then says "Thanks, but no thanks." Stokely leaves, then Isiah Kassidy says that for the first time in five years, they are making moves and doing it themselves, and that they need the AEW World Tag Team Championships. He says The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are complacement, but they will put the chip back on their shoulders and take their spot when they become the new tag champs.

Tony Schiavone interviews Will Ospreay in the ring. Ospreay says that last week was supposed to be him beating Ricochet and moving on, but now they are equal because of "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita. He says he has been a part of The Don Callis Family (Callis, Kyle Fletcher, Takeshita) and knows how they operate, and that he knows Takeshita does not do anything without Callis' go-ahead. Ospreay then calls Don Callis out, saying that they need to have a chat. Callis shows up, and when he goes for the hug, Ospreay wants none of it. Callis says that last week was difficult for him emotionally, and that he hates to see Ospreay unhappy. He tries to get Ospreay to remember the good times they had last year, but Ospreay is not having that either, and he demands that Callis tell him if he sent Takeshita out to attack him. Callis says that Ospreay is asking the wrong question, but Ospreay tells him to stop stalling. Callis says Ospreay does not need to know that, and as Ospreay demands that Callis stop dancing around his question, Callis finally flat out says that he sent Takeshita out of frustration because Ospreay would not listen to his advice, and that he had to show him who makes the decisions in the family. Callis then mentions the tag team title loss, saying Ospreay dropped the ball because he was too mentally weak to do what needed to be done. Ospreay says that if Callis would have kept his nose out of his business, he would have been a tag team champion as well as a world champion. Callis said he had the best wrestler in the world, but he threw him in the garbage for Ospreay, and that maybe he should throw Ospreay in the garbage. Ospreay says he cannot believe that he had any respect for him and calls him "utter scum" before telling him that they are done. Callis slaps Ospreay, and Ospreay drops the International Championship before grabbing Callis andthrowing him across the ring. Takeshita runs into the ring and fights Ospreay, and both men brawl before Kyle Fletcher pulls Ospreay away from Takeshita. Fletcher and Ospreay argue, and Takeshita suplexes Ospreay before Callis tells Fletcher to hit Ospreay with a screwdriver while Takeshita holds Ospreay down. Fletcher leaves the ring, and when Callis tries to stop him, Fletcher almost attacks Callis. Takeshita stands between them and tries to reason with Fletcher, but Fletcher walks off and Ospreay brawls with Takeshita again. Callis then grabs Ospreay from behind, and Takeshita knocks Ospreay out with an elbow strike. Ricochet shows up and attacks Takeshita as Takeshita holds up the International Championship, forcing Takeshita to retreat.

Backstage, we hear from Top Flight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Leila Grey) and Action Andretti. Darius says people keep asking them how they feel after losing number one contendership on Collision. Darius says they are pissed off, because they know they are better than the other two teams they faced and should be facing The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) for the tag team titles. Dante says that they beat The Young Bucks, and that there is no reason they should not have a title match. Andretti says there is a reason, and it is because they are not fired up and constantly complaining. Leila Grey butts in, saying Andretti is the reason as he constantly steps in and messing everything up. Andretti says he did what was best for them, but Leila says he screwed them. Andretti says they do not get it, and leaves. Dante says Andretti is "all go, no thinking," and that this will not stop unless they fix it.

We hear from "Scapegoat" Jack Perry, who says there is a lot to say about "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata, as he is a legend and the embodiment of fighting spirit, but he wants to know if Shibata is still one of the best. He syas that Shibata lets his phone do all the talking, but he wants to have a conversation with him in his native language: violence. He says he wants to face the Shibata who almost killed himself in the ring because he was willing to fight that hard and wanted to sacrifice that much. He says that Shibiata may deserve the TNT Championship, but it is really about what Shibata is willing to take, then says the TNT Championship proves he is one of the best and dares Shibata to take it from him.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta beat The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and PAC). During the match, PAC grabs the ring bell hammer, and as "The Problem" Marina Shafir distracts referee Rick Knox, PAC tries to hit Danielson with the hammer only for Wheeler Yuta to take it away. Claudio confronts Yuta, and Danielson locks in the Lebell Lock. Despite everything going on at the ring apron, the referee notices this, and PAC taps out. After the match, Jon Moxley tries to get in the ring, but Danielson sees him coming and fights him. Meanwhile, PAC boots Yuta off the ring apron. Danielson and Moxley take their brawl to the back as Shafir gives Yuta a beating, with Claudio and PAC joining in. Claudio then hits Yuta with the hammer as Shafir and PAC hold Yuta down, then Danielson and Moxley's brawl spills back into the ring. Shafir gets Moxley out of the ring as Danielson takes out both PAC and Claudio, forcing them and Shafir to retreat.

Marina Shafir speaks in Romanian, then Jon Moxley says they will have Bryan's world title belt or else there will be consequences as he also tells Bryan that he has a chance to go out on his shield and be buried in his backyard. He then says that on October 12th, he officially relieves him of duty, and that he is sending Daddy home for good.

Before the next match, Don Callis, wanting to talk with Will Ospreay concerning last week, wishes Will Ospreay the best of luck in the ring before he, Kyle Fletcher and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita leave to catch a flight.

Jericho congratulates AEW on five years and their brand-new TV deal with Warner Bros. Jericho also states that today is the 34th anniversary of his professional wrestling debut and says that it is such an unbelievable feeling not just being an eight-time world champion, but also mentoring future superstars and getting as much TV time as he can. He then talks about selling out Arena Mexico and beating Mark Briscoe as of late and that it is time to introduce a new era of Jericho, saying "The Ocho" is out and "El Nueve" is in before challenging Mark Briscoe for the ROH World title at WrestleDream. The Conglomeration shows up, and Mark Briscoe heads to the ring. Briscoe says this is between him and Jericho, and Jericho calls Big Bill and Bryan Keith off so that Mark and Jericho are the only two men in the ring. Briscoe says that being a man means not making excuses, and while he could make excuses and state that he had Jericho beaten in New York City, they were in a tornado tag team match where anything was legal, and he is calling it like it is. Mark Briscoe then calls Jericho one of the most influential and finest pro wrestlers in the last four decades, as it works out well for him that Jericho pinned him, as Jericho is in line for a title shot that he personally looks forward to. He says that the word of the day is "consequential," as he will consequentially beat Chris Jericho to retain his championship, but Jericho says Mark Briscoe cannot beat him before stating that maybe his brother Jay Briscoe could have. Jericho then says that Mark will never be as good as Jay was, and Mark Briscoe chops him in the jaw, demands that Jericho keep his brother's name out of his mouth, and tells him that if he wants to go that far, then he will get a Briscoe Brothers-style ass whupping. He then calls the knock down "consequential."

We hear from Darby Allin, who talks about how he was on a bus when he turned around and saw three men taking turns spitting on the back of his head and actually did something about it, and how he was reminded of those three guys when Jon Moxley told him he was not ready to be World Champion. He says he put everything on the line against Moxley and that it should have been him going on to WrestleDream, and while he says he is ready to be the face of AEW, he and the fans are both losing faith in himself and all he can do is face. Darby says he will be at WrestleDream, and puts out an open challenge to anyone in the locker room who wants to make a name for himself, as he has nothing left to lose.

He says that he and Okada both have a win apiece, and while Okada has broken his orbital bone, he has not broken his spirit. He says that his title is on the line for the whole match while Okada's is contested for only twenty minutes, but he would not want it any other way.

Matthew mentions that they have an overrun tonight and that he has an idea, then says they can put the tag team titles on the line right now before mentioning that they have limited dates and will not waste one of them on Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As The Young Bucks leave, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry shows up and attacks Marq Quen, then The Young Bucks run into the ring and join Perry. Suddenly, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata runs into the ring to even the numbers, and The Young Bucks and Jack Perry flee. MVP says that sounds like a complaint and that he does not do complaints, then introduces Shelton Benjamin, whom he calls the head of the complaint department. Shelton drinks from Prince Nana's coffee cup, then walks off with it alongside MVP.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson retains the AEW World Championship against "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada with a backslide pin after Claudio Castagnoli and PAC show up to watch from the front row. During the match, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada's AEW Continental Championship was also being defended, but Danielson failed to win the match within the first twenty minutes; therefore, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Continental Championship. After the match, Okada hits Danielson with another Rainmaker, then blames Claudio and PAC for his loss before storming to the back. Claudio and PAC get in the ring and hold Danielson up for Jon Moxley, who soon shows up and tells Danielson that he is playing for something much bigger for himself and that he is doing what he is doing because he has to. He says that if it were up to him, he would have put Danielson out of his misery a long time ago. All of a sudden, Wheeler Yuta runs into the ring with a hammer and scares The Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Claudio, PAC) out of the ring, then Jon Moxley gets back in the ring and looks at Wheeler. Wheeler dares Moxley to give him a reason to hit him, and Danielson attacks Moxley. Danielson and Wheeler fight off The Blackpool Combat Club, who are sent into a retreat, and Wheeler says he is sick of Claudio and PAC treating him like a child, for he is his own man who can make his own decision and fight his own fights. He says that people love to brag about the pain they can induce, then asks what happens when nothing works because their body cannot work. All of a sudden, Tony Schiavone interrupts and tells Mercedes that Britt Baker's suspension has been lifted and overruled by Tony Khan as per Interim EVP Christopher Daniels. Britt appears on the video screen and says Mercedes cannot stop her and that she will see things through to the end, unlike Mercedes, who takes her ball and goes home when things do not go her way. He says Danielson is one of the best of all time, and that it will be an honor to beat and retire him and make his legacy his. He also says that he will not hesitate to take that killshot, and that if Jarrett has left him wobbling, then he can imagine what he will do to him. Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for July 10, 2024

Will Ospreay heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Ospreay says he was appalled but not surprised by MJF and his actions after last week, as he has heard rumors that MJF is one of the most insecure men in wrestling and showed that he was when Daniel Garcia crept up on his popularity. He says that Daniel Garcia still has no feeling in his armor as he recovers at home and has no idea when he will get back to wrestling, yet MJF wants to blame the people despite opening up to people, saying he has ADHD and that it does not give him an excuse to be a prick. He says that "the bidding war of 2024" did not go well for MJF because Tony Khan would rather spend money on people who would elevate AEW rather than bury it. He also says that MJF views him as "a talentless hack" even though he has more talent in his left nut than MJF has in his entire body. Ospreay says that he represents the identity and foundation of AEW while MJF only represents himself and only cares about himself. He then says he has always been cleaning up somebody else's mess and he realizes it it is MJF's. He says that he gets MJF's scumbag gimmick as it is the best version of him, which he welcomes, but it has been going for five years now and "the level of The Devil" is ground floor while he is at the top. Ospreay then says he is here for a fight, then calls out MJF. MJF's entrance theme hits, but MJF fails to show. We then see MJF on the video screen. MJF sits in a chair drinking wine, saying the fans tonight do not deserve to be close to his greatness and that all of the fans' top guys fell beneath his feet and that Ospreay is no different and "a joke." MJF says Ospreay wrestles for the fans and will do so until they realize they have seen his routine and throw him out like they did. He then says that he is irreplacable, unlike Ospreay, and if Ospreay gets in the ring with him, he will be exposed. MJF then tells Ospreay that he does not wrestle for fun of the fans' amusement, but for the betterment of AEW, and proposes that next week, they face off for the International Championship so that he will punch Ospreay in the face until he sees stars. Ospreay tells MJF he will see him next week.

Jeff Jarrett is the special guest enforcer for the next match.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats "Hangman" Adam Page to win the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and earn a AEW World Championship match at All In after rolling Hangman onto his shoulders as Hangman has him in the crossface. During the match, referee Paul Turner is knocked out of the ring, and when Hangman disrespects Jarrett for confronting him as he is choking Danielson with his belt, Jarrett reveals that he has a referee's shirt under his other shirt, and he referees the rest of the match. After the match, Danielson is personally awarded the Owen Cup and the commemorative championship belt by Dr. Martha Hart. Afterwards, Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland head to the ring. Swerve Strickland says that whoever holds the AEW World Championship is the best in the world, and that he had to beat Ospreay to silence any doubt who is the best. He congratulates Danielson for winning the men's Owen Cup and says it will be an honor to face him for the World Championship at All In, but he still remembers the pinfall victory Danielson has over him and he still holds a grudge. Swerve says that Danielson is on a career downturn while he is the most dangerous man in AEW, then addresses The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) trying to bribe him, saying he will be joining the Blood & Guts Match on the side of Team AEW. He says that one does not make a Team AEW without the AEW World Championship, then says he will defeat Will Ospreay and lead Team AEW in victory against The Elite (Nicholas Jackson, Matthew Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry) this year, two things that Danielson has failed to do. Swerve then challenges Okada to a match and tells him that he will teach how to really make it rain, then tells Danielson that he will see him at All In and that it will truly be his final countdown.

We see The Acclaimed's ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) new rap, "Two Times," where The Acclaimed target The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson).

She also tells Dr. Britt Baker to stay away from her titles, warning that she will leave her with more than a couple of herniated disks and that she will leave her laying. Suddenly, Britt Baker shows up and fights security on the way to the ring. Mercedes flees the ring and flees through the ring.

Backstage, it is revealed that Brandon Cutler has been attacked by Darby Allin, who tells "Scapegoat" Jack Perry that Cutler just made his sacrifice and that he is just getting started with The Elite (Nicholas Jackson, Matthew Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry) for Dynamite 250.

Mariah May beats Willow Nightingale after countering a Death Valley Driver with a Victory Roll to win the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and the women's Owen Cup as well as a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship at All In. During the match, Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander almost cost Willow the match, with Stokely grabbing at Willow so that Kris can hit Willow with a cheap shot while "Timeless" Toni Storm distracts the refere. After the match, Mariah May skips to the back with Toni, then smacks her with the commemorative women's tournament title belt before also attacking Luther. Mariah continues to attack the two of them, busting Toni open in the process, kicking both of them in the gut, opening the head wound in Toni's forehead with one of her heels and knocking Luther off the side of the stage and through a table to end the show.

He talks about how he came close to becoming TNT Champion only to come up short, then says he is more focused on this week, which is Shark Week, which makes him think of Blood & Guts. He then declares himself a member of Team AEW. As Mark continues to speak, he is smacked from behind with the TNT Championship by "Scapegoat" Jack Perry. Soon, her full right side stopped working. Britt reveals she was diagnosed with a transient ischemic attack, or TIA, and that she basically had a mini-stroke, and that she had to take time off. Britt says she is now cleared and healthy, but she admits that she was more nervous and unsure of herself than she was on Sunday because she did not know if anyone would cheer for her when she came out of the tunnel. She thanks everyone for welcoming her back with open arms and says that she will always be in the fans' corner, for at the end of the day, she is one of them. Britt tells the fans to go through a hard time if they happen to be in one and come out of the other side, as we all possess the insult to become elite. She also admits that there is a new female face of AEW after shedding blood, sweat and tears in the ring and building the company from the ground up, and sarcastically states that she worked for a decade to become a CEO. She then says that the only three letters that matter in this company are D.M.D. All of a sudden, Mercedes Moné shows up at the arena, where she is congratulated by The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson). He says that when he got his career back, he realized that AEW was where he needed to end his career, as he saw "a murderer's row of talent" when he looked at the roster. He says that while he has been in great locker rooms, he will put AEW's against anybody's. Copeland says he can face Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, "Hangman" Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, and many more for first-time-ever matches, and when friends tell him he is having a blast, they are right. He says that he has had fun everywhere he went, but AEW has been the most fun, and for that, he celebrates AEW as well as those who started it, as they have pushed everyone and the business into a better place and given more people to do what they love for a living, and that all of this should be celebrated. He says that AEW has made pro wrestling better and more fun, and that AEW is where the best wrestle. The Gunns soon show up to protect Jay White and beg for mercy after Billy Gunn grabs a metal folding chair from the timekeeper's area, and Billy Gunn eventually rears back with the chair only for Jay White to hit him with a low blow in full view of the referee, causing the disqualification. After the match, Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) try to attack Billy Gunn, but The Acclaimed show up and even the numbers game, beating up The Gunns and stopping Jay White from escaping. Joe says he will also beat Swerve down so severely that he will leave him mentally scarred like he "left Diddy's party too late," and now that Swerve has the right information, he should do the right thing. Swerve tells Joe he has wanted this moment all of his life and has dreamt of this moment because he believed it was not actually possible, and that his destination is filled with a long, winding road of obstacles and roadblocks. He says the journey has taken him to Dynasty, that AEW is creating its own dynasty, and that this is "bigger than the both of us." Swerve says he knows what he is getting into and that Joe is nothing short of a killer, but so is he, and he will show he is every bit of that man." After Swerve tells Joe that this will be his house and to "Run the fade on that, bitch!", this starts a brawl. Dax Harwood says AEW has been built on the back of good tag team wrestling, and says that while it would be easy for him to say FTR is the greatest tag team of all time and that they will win the tournament and the titles, but he is not a liar. He feels that FTR may not be worthy of being in the tournament, but if they are allowed in it, they will give their all for the fans and ultimately become the first-ever three-time tag team champs in AEW history.
