A Tribute to PAC - Dynamite recap for September 30, 2026

In memoriam: "PAC" Benjamin Satterley, 1986 - 2026. Excalibur eulogizes PAC at the announce desk, while Tony Schiavone is in the ring to thank the fans for their support tonight. We then see backstage footage from after All Out. We hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir). Jon Moxley says that Will Ospreay was the better man in their match and that Ospreay took everything he had, and says that when you realize you cannot win them all, all you can do is give your best every time. He says that there is nothing like being in the ring for the fan and that every day is a gift, and that Ospreay has earned nothing but more hard work. He says that there are two kinds of eulogies: what a guy did and what a guy was. He knows what kind of eulogy he wants and that nobody sees what Ospreay has like he can and what they have been gifted. Moxley says knows what kind of eulogy he wants and that nobody sees what Ospreay has like he can and what they have been gifted. He states that pro wrestling can be what they make it, as they have what it takes to really be great and do something with their gift. Everyone else follows Moxley, and PAC is the last to walk out of shot. PAC is then honored with a ten-bell salute as the AEW locker room is on the stage. The Death Riders' theme then plays, and a red light is focused on an empty metal folding chair as the camera focuses on Jon Moxley, who heads to the ring for the first match.

Jon Moxley retains the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy in an emotional opening match that sees Moxley hit a PAC-style lariat before both men try to lock in the Brutalizer in tribute. After the match, a tearful Bryan Danielson shows up, and he and Moxley hug it out in the middle of the ring.

"Hangman" Adam Page reminisces about his memories of PAC.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega, "Hangman" Adam Page) beat The Don Callis Family ("The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Jet" Kevin Knight, Trent Beretta, Rocky "Azucar" Romero) in an eight-man tag match. The match is Kenny's first since losing the AEW World Championship to Will Ospreay at All In.

We get more tributes to PAC from Cash Wheeler and "Switchblade" Jay White.

Renee Paquette thanks the fans for being here tonight, then shares a statement from PAC's family, who is devasted by the loss of their son and amazed by the support from the fans. They thank AEW and PAC's fans for their support throughout the years as they eulogize their son.

Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana and The New Level (Kofi and "Awesome" Austin Creed) had to the ring. Swerve and The New Level lay the AEW World Trios Championships on the mat, with a memorial towel draped on top of them.

Ricochet reminisces about his memories of PAC.

Will Ospreay beats Ricochet with a Black Arrow from the top rope. Ospreay and Ricochet hug after the match.

Will Ospreay talks about his memories of learning about, meeting and eventually wrestling PAC.

"The Problem" Marina Shafir, Hyan and Thunder Rosa beat Persephone, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Mercedes Moné in a trios match by submission after Shafir counters the Lockjaw by getting to her feet, judo throwing Britt Baker and locking in the Brutalizer.

Swerve Strickland and Darby Allin pay tribute to PAC.

Jon Moxley guests on commentary for the next match.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd) and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beat The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, Jake Doyle, Mark Davis, Wardlow) in a ten-man tag match. The match is Danielson's first since losing the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley and his first since retiring from full-time competition. The match is also Wardlow's first match since Big Business in 2024. After the match, The Death Riders and Danielson hug each other in the ring before we see a video tribute to PAC, followed by one last look at PAC's empty metal folding chair with The Death Riders and Bryan Danielson standing behind it to end the show.
