New Year's Smash - Dynamite recap for December 31, 2025

MJF is seen entering the arena and entering the ring to start tonight's show. There is a table in the ring - which has a red mat - and on the table is something covered in a red mantle. He throws down the AEW World Championship and re-introduces the "Triple B" before mentioning that the fans think that this is unfair and stating that anyone who thinks they are on his level should step up or get stepped on. He says that he is a stallion and that he is done slow-trotting around for all the donkey in the locker room, then says he is at a sprint and that he is not slowing down until he is the greatest of all time. All of a sudden, Kenny Omega appears on the video screen. He feels that he is approaching the end of his career and admits he hates that feeling, as he is leaving a stone unturned, and wonders if he could be champion again and wonders what would happen if MJF never beat him.He says that whatever it takes to prove he is worthy of a challenge, MJF will be seeing a lot more of him. MJF says that Omega was not man enough to say any of that to his face, then "Hangman" Adam Page shows up from out of the crowd with a chain around his neck. Right after that, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana also appear. Swerve is also wearing a chain around his neck as he and Nana come out of the crowd, and the three of them head to the ring. Security soon shows up from backstage to hold them back, and MJF says that he is a professional wrestler and that wins and losses matter, and that Hangman and Swerve are losers. He tells them to earn some wins, talk to Tony Khan and earn their chances so he can beat them again, but on his way out, Hangman and Swerve get past security. Hangman and Swerve soon lay security out. Hangman grabs a microphone and threatens to strangle MJF with the "Triple B" before he takes it away from him, and Swerve tells MJF to pray that Hangman gets to him before he does, then says that the hunt is on and "may the worst men win." The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook) soon show up on the video screen, and Samoa Joe says that the only man who deserves to be number one contender is him, "the rightful and robbed champion." He says he has "eternal obstacles" that are in his way of getting what is his, then sends Hook after Hangman for laying his hands on him so he can choke him on sight. Joe then sics Powerhouse Hobbs on Swerve before saying that they can do this next week as he does not want to spend any more time in "this broken, busted ass cow town." Hangman calls Samoa Joe is "new year, same dumbass" and wants Hook. Swerve wants a Lights Out match in response to Samoa Joe's threats.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Roderick Strong. Mark Briscoe says that The Conglomeration are rolling into 2026 and that they will have both the TNT and TBS going into the new year, and declares "asphyxiation" the word of the day, as The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) will be choking on "dees nuts" tonight. "Timeless" Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa and Luther show up, with Toni taking a liking to Orange, much to Luther and Mina's chagrin before Toni walks out eating an orange with Briscoe following also wanting a taste. Roderick Strong says he wants no part of this.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) beat "Timeless" Toni Storm and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong) in a Tornado Trios Match after Wheeler Yuta shows up and grabs Orange Cassidy and Claudio grabs onto referee Paul Turner. After the match, Mina Shirakawa and Luther show up and become irritated with Orange for supposedly putting a love triangle in motion.

He also says that he is first in line when Bandido becomes a double champion, but for now, he has work to do.

Brody King beats "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson.

We hear from Darby Allin, who says he went to hell with Gabe Kidd at Worlds End and while he is not numb to the pain and is more aware of it than anyone, and while he wants to stand on the top of AEW, he has unfinished business with PAC. He says that he must beat PAC and set himself free to finish what he started.

After the match, Toa Liona brings Luchasaurus back from the back after attacking him from behind and dragging him there during the match, and as he and Kaun surround him and attack him with a chair to a barricade over his arm, Ricochet lays out Jack Perry from behind with another Spirit Gun. When security shows up, they also get attacked.

Backstage, we hear from Eddie Kingston. He says you either win or you learn, and while he did not win against Samoa Joe, he learned from it, and now his future opponents will see what he learned. He says he does not stop or quit and that professional wrestling is all he is. He says that he learns and moves forward, and that he will see everyone again, hopefully at Collision when somebody wants to step forward.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega) beat The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, Rey Hechicero, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) in a $1,000,000 (£750,000) Winner Takes All Trios Match. After the match, The Don Callis Family attack, then Okada and Takeshita get on the same page for once and Matt and Nick Jackson. After that, they start fighting again, but that does not last long when Omega gets back into the ring with a push broom and swings it at them. Takeshita and Okada flee, as does Don Callis, who also drops the bag containing $1 million.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring for a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at Worlds End. "Hangman" Adam Page is introduced first, followed by Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, followed by Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe shows up with Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs on his way to the ring. Joe says that when it comes to Hangman and Swerve, the sum is always volatile and unpredictable, and that his friends are here in case there is anything to trigger anyone into doing something stupid. Joe then signs the contract. Swerve says he came back to AEW for the World Championship, and if the finish of that match was different, he would be coming after Joe. He also notes that there is a bit of mutual respect between himself and Hangman despite what they have both done to each other. Swerve then mentions that he hates Joe just as much as he respects Hangman, all because Joe left him laying in a pool of his own blood in their last contract signing and he ended up beating him for the World title, which he plans to do again. He also hopes to leave a bootprint on Joe's face that will be uglier than the face tattoo he had in 2007. Swerve tells Joe and Hangman to bring their best to Worlds End, because you cannot kill a god with bullets. Swerve signs the contract. Hangman mentions that he and Joe once fought together to take the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, but acknowledges that Swerve or Joe could have been champion. In the end, he ended up beating Moxley to become World Champion. Hangman says that he knew both Joe and Swerve would find a way to face him for the World Championship. He says he gave Joe that opportunity, but when he failed, he turned into something worse than Moxley. He says that Joe may be World Champion, but he has no self-respect, and that the title is all he has left. Hangman says he planned the World Championship against everyone who helped him, including Swerve. He says that if Swerve defeated him, he would have accepted that defeat and handed the title to him. Hangman says that Joe will not be leaving Worlds End as World Champion, as he has messed up by making enemies out of him and Swerve. Hangman signs the contract, and as Tony Schiavione announces that this is official, the lights go out. MJF's theme then plays, and MJF shows up for the first time in months. "Smart" Mark Sterling is on the outside to give MJF his Casino Gauntlet contract, which MJF signs. MJF cashes in his guaranteed World Championship match, making the match a four-way match. MJF says he is executing this contract and facing three men instead of one, then MJF takes what Hangman said about him being a coward and saying that he will beat him and his two greatest rivals in one fell swoop to really hurt Hangman. MJF tells Joe that he still hates Joe for taking the World title from him and making the fans turn on him in response, then says the fans dictate who goes down as an all-time great and says that he must go down as an all-time great. He tells Joe that his time has just run out and that he will make Joe fall back harder than his hairline, and at Worlds End - where Joe ended his title reign - he will end Joe's reign. Swerve tells MJF that if he should be afraid of anyone, it is him. MJF mentions the history that he and Swerve both have (while making light of Swerve's run in WWE) as well as Swerve's time in AEW, then says that Swerve is in his way and that AEW is his house and rent is due, and the Devil is here to collect. He then says he will handle all his family business in one night like Michael Corleone and win the AEW World Championship.

Collision Course - Collision recap for December 6, 2025

Orange Cassidy beats Roderick Strong by pinfall with the Mouse Trap in Blue League of the Continental Classic. Orange Cassidy earns three points and is finally on the board. Roderick Strong still has zero points, and after the match, he walks on by without even acknowledging Orange.

It is announced that Darby Allin is out of the Continental Classic and that he will be replaced by "Jungle" Jack Perry in the Gold League due to being injured in his Continental Classic match with "The Jet" Kevin Knight. We then hear from Darby, who says that he felt his legs give out in his match with Knight and that he was rushed to the hospital where the powers that be in AEW saved him from himself, and tells "Jungle" Jack Perry that if he is taking his spot, he must win the whole thing. As for what is next for him, Darby admits he does not know.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway head to the ring. Stokely says that tonight is the greatest night of his life because FTR are the AEW World Tag Team Champions. He addresses what happened on Dynamite, stating that FTR are men of their words and dared The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) to put their hands on the tag team titles. He says there will be no more fun and games for The Bang Bang Gang, and calls them out to the ring, right here, right now. The Bang Bang Gang shows up and heads to the ring, and Cash Wheeler says that while The Bang Bang Gang were the last team to beat them, that time will be the last time. He says they are living legends while Austin is the son of a legend and that his and Juice's greatest accomplishments will be who they are associated with. Dax says that The Bang Bang Gang are excited to be in the ring with "the absolute best tag team on the planet" before calling Austin "a nepo baby" and Juice "a bag carrier" and stating that they were only relevant when they stood across from FTR. He then says that FTR are peerless and have no rival, and last week, he was embarassed when he let Juice touch his belt, and that the only reason they have not fought The Bang Bang Gang is because they will never beat FTR. He dares Juice to touch his tag team title again, then Austin says that while he is the son of a hall of famer and Juice is the son of a carpenter, Cash is the son of his first cousin and Dax is a son of a bitch. Austin then says that FTR has been ducking them when it comes to putting the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line, and while they have done this song and dance before, the fans are getting behind The Bang Bang Gang. Austin then demands that they make a tag team title match official before Juice mentions their $200,000 win and says they would rather buy hundred of belts from AEW Shop and touch belts all night long. He then says he has a belt holding his pants up and does not any more, and what they really need is a title - the tag team titles - and they came here not to touch them, but to make it known that they will take them when they beat FTR's asses in the United Kingdom.

Backstage, we hear from Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia. Shafir says that greatness is not a moment, but a habit executed every single day. She asks who is pushing Mark Briscoe to greatness, and Wheeler Yuta calls Briscoe "a toothless, hillbilly idiot" who cannot match them in greatness. Daniel Garcia calls Briscoe one of the stupidest idiots he has ever seen in his life and is stupid enough to put the TNT Championship on the line against him. He then says he will bring the TNT Championship back home in Wales.

Mascara Dorada beats Claudio Castagnoli by pinfall in the Blue League of the Continental Classic. During the match, it is announced that next week's show will air at 4:30 PM Eastern/1:30 PM Pacific. Mascara Dorado has earned three points and is finally on the board, while Claudio Castagnoli still has six points.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone has a sit-down interview with The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) and Timeless Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa). Toni proposes a champagne toast to "four bitches with itches to fight for all the riches," then says there is a difference between being a tag team and living a tag team, and that she and Mina were not just thrown together to fill a spot and have both been through war together after having met through "a tragedy of bloody circumstance." Willow says she supports what goes on in their personal life, then says that she and Harley have known each other for the last three years and that they have both been grinding. Toni says she has beaten both Harley and Willow and that neither can say the same about her, but Harley says that "these babes have wrath" and are willing to rewrite history and that her first and only three years in the business have been successful than the Timeless Love Bombs. Mina then states that they are here for the women's tag team title and propose a toast for a fight to remember.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring to interview Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland. Swerve talks about how he was on the shelf for three months or surgery, rehabbing and rebuilding into the most dangerous version of himself that anyone has ever seen to become AEW World Champion again. He says that when he was champion, he made business simple and backed up what he said. Swerve then addresses Samoa Joe, saying that Joe is now ducking him because he beat him for the title during his first reign and got the biggest moment off of Samoa Joe while also making history. He then says he has to go through Opps Dojo students like it is Dynasty Warriors just to get through to The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook, Katsuyori Shibata) and take back the World title, and that Joe will once again fall to him. Swerve then addresses "Hangman" Adam Page, admitting that while they have not always seen eye-to-eye, there has never been a better rivalry than theirs. He knows that Hangman wants another desperado to ride along The Opps, and says he will back Hangman up at Winter is Coming for one night only before they have a very serious conversation. Suddenly, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander interrupts, saying he could not stand it anymore and that Swerve was spouting "lies and half-truths," and says that while the fans love Swerve and that Swerve was a great champion, this is Don Callis' house now. He says that since Swerve has been gone, The Don Callis Family has increased its grip on AEW and that it is not loosening that grip anytime soon. He also says that Don Callis is not here tonight because he would not be caught dead in Ohio, then reminds Swerve that "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada is the one who injured his knee and took him out for three months and states that he is surprised that Swerve is not seeking revenge. He also takes exception to Swerve thinking he can walk back into AEW after three or four months and just get a World title shot, then brags about beating Will Ospreay and Kota Ibushi, even going so far as to brag about injuring Ibushi to the point that his career was put into question after he broke his femur. He also brags about facing Kenny Omega and winning one million dollars for The Don Callis Family. Swerve asks Alexander what he wants, and Alexander says that if anyone deserves a title shot, it is him, and that they should fight over who gets a World title shot. He says that "the freaks and furries" in tonight's crowd do not deserve this match, and Swerve proposes they have their match at Winter is Coming. As Swerve threatens to beat Alexander's ass, he is clipped at the right knee from behind by Katsuyori Shibata. Alexander tells Swerve he will see him next week.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Mercedes Moné. Mercedes does not want to be reminded of her loss to Red Velvet at Final Battle and demands a better question, but Lexy keeps asking about Mercedes' losses in AEW and Ring of Honor. Mercedes says she is an icon and Pro Wrestling Illustrated's #1 woman of the year and that all of her titles are the only thing weighing on her, and that Red Velvet got one lucky win.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Leila Grey by submission with the Statement Maker. After the match, Mercedes refuses to release the hold, and Christopher Daniels has to break the hold up before checking on Leila Grey. Mercedes kicks Daniels in the groin as soon as he turns around to confront her.

We hear from Eddie Kingston backstage. Eddie says that he has been wrestling for 25 years and dreaming of being a wrestler since he was 9 years old, and that he now has an opportunity to beat Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. He says Samoa Joe cannot get in his head because he is in his own head every day and because he cares too much for professional wrestling and for AEW and feels that some younger guys are going down a road that he does not respect and is not good for professional wrestling. He says that AEW was supposed to be different and that people were supposed to be rewarded for winning, working hard and being the best, but when he came back, everything changed. He says that he finds Samoa Joe disgusting, as he was supposed to lead and is now doing what he used to hate. Eddie says he wants change, and that he has the opportunity not only to beat Samoa Joe, but to show the younger guys that they can do things the right way and do what AEW was supposed to be.

Backstage, Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla) are seen attacking numerous wrestlers before Julia Hart and Skye Blue state that "Sisters of Sin, we come for the win." Thekla says that they will see their competition in Cardiff, Wales.

After the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) attack Austin, then The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) make the save. FTR try to use the tag team titles as weapon, but The Bang Bang Gang duck and hit multiple right jabs, forcing FTR to retreat so they can celebrate with the tag team titles.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring to reveal the announcement of a new National Championship in the ring to start tonight's show before The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) show up. Joe immediately confronts Tony Schiavone and expects him to state he had nothing to do with the attack on him last week, which he finds hard to believe, then says there are consequences for actions and consequences have come from Schiavone. Security shows up and stands between Joe and Schiavone, and Joe tells Schiavone that he is only going to get more people hurt in this situation. Suddenly, "Hangman" Adam Page shows up, and The Opps take a step back as security holds him back. Joe says that The Opps will get to take care of two problems at once, and Schiavone flees as Eddie Kingston and Hook show up to stand alongside Hangman, with Kingston holding a crutch in his hands. The Opps retreat. Hangman tells Joe he is right here, and if Joe wants to handle his problem, he will beat Joe's ass in his Wranglers. Hook challenges The Opps to a World Trios Championship match tonight, and Joe takes exception to how Hook is talking to him before accepting his challenge so he can kick his and Hangman's asses. It does not take long for this match to become the main event for tonight's show, as per Tony Khan.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis in a no-physicality meeting. Mark Briscoe tells Fletcher he has received a response to his challenge from Don Callis, but he wants one from Fletcher, saying that how he won the last time was not satisfying and that he wants Fletcher to be a real man. Briscoe challenges Fletcher to a no-disqualification match for the TNT Championship at Full Gear. Callis, seeing that there is something for both men in the match, proposes that when Briscoe loses, he must join his family and leave The Conglomeration forever. Briscoe says it is a deal with a devil, but only if it is a deal on his end, and accepts Callis' stipulation, telling him that he will not lose.

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron - now called "The Babes of Wrath" - beat Mercedes Moné and Athena to advance in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament after Billie Starkz tries to help Athena cheat to win with the Ring of Honor Women's World Championship only to be taken down by Kris Statlander, which distracts Athena and allows both Willow and Harley to lay out Athena for the win.

It is announced that Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are the first two confirmed participants. The Hurt Syndicate make their way to the ring, and MVP mentions the name that held the National Championship back in the NWA before asking who is more iconic than Lashley or greater than Shelton. He says that with Lashley and Shelton in the match, the prize is The Hurt Syndicate's. On the subject of Lashley and Shelton having to face each other, the fans will win as much as The Hurt Syndicate itself. Suddenly, The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) shows up, and Ricochet says that they are here to give The Hurt Syndicate the credit they deserve, as no matter how old they are, they hobble down the ramp into their ring and talk about championship gold. Ricochet then states that he spits facts every time he is on the microphone, and that he has done everything to ensure The Hurt Syndicate never wins gold again. MVP says nobody cares about what Ricochet has to say, and that The Demand are only good at getting hurt, then threatens to beat them up right now. Ricochet says the demand will be met and that he will walk out National Champion. MVP then says "You talk shit, we hurt people. Let's run it." He dares The Demand to get in the ring, but The Demand keeps their distance.

Backstage, we hear from Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus). Jack Perry says there are things more important than money, like friendship. Roderick Strong soon finds an opening and sends The Death Riders into a retreat.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring. Cash Wheeler mentions how they won a four-way tag match to become #1 contenders for the AEW tag titles, then says they should have been three-time tag team champions at Forbidden Door and that Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) took it away from them. He then calls Brodido out, but Brodido fails to show. Renee Paquette is backstage with Stokely Hathaway near Brodido's dressing room. Brodido cannot get out of their dressing room. Dax Harwood regrets the situation before mentioning Bandido's family - including Gravity - being in the front row, and mockingly says it was beautiful that Bandido's mother supported Bandido's Ring of Honor World Championship victory before mocking her age. He also keeps her from answering any questions he asks her in full, then proposes that FTR adopt her as their aunt. Gravity jumps the barricade only to get ganged up on. Backstage, Brody King punches his way through the door, grabs Stokely, and frees Brodido from being trapped. Stokely runs towards the ring as Brodido follows suit, sending FTR into a retreat.

Title Tuesday - Dynamite recap for October 7, 2025

Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page and Samoa Joe for a face-to-face meeting before their AEW World Championship match at WrestleDream to start tonight's show. Hangman is introduced first, followed by Joe. Hangman says there has been six years of Dynamite in AEW history and that in those six years, he has won, he has lost, he has committed arson, he has dressed as the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and he may have been proposed to, but he has never been more confused as he was when Joe lost his composure with him after he volunteered to fight with him and Powerhouse Hobbs to beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir), and after they won, Joe lost it, even sucker punching him in the face when security got involved. Hangman admits that he was confused, but that he was not confused for long, because Joe looked him in the and yelled to him "You never beat me" and that he looked at the AEW World Championship and decided that he wanted it. He says that Joe has been angry with himself and distracted from what is important in professional wrestling, then tells Joe that while he will get his chance at WrestleDream, he is only getting it because he owes him after ensuring that the fight for the AEW World Championship at All In was a fair one, which he thanks Joe for. Hangman admits that with help like that, no one - much less himself - could have won, but the repayment for his gratitude stops there. He tells Joe that he will have the chance to win the title at WrestleDream, but he will not just let Joe take it from him. Joe tells the fans that everything Hangman has said is true, but since they are talking about uncomfortable truth, he will tell a few of his own. Joe says that when he stares across the ring, his problem is not with Hangman being the champion, but that Hangman is not what he considers "the pinnacle of professional wrestling" and is instead "a pretender." Joe says Hangman would not be AEW World Championship unless the timely intervention of The Opps (Joe, Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) assured that, and that week after week, nobody has had Hangman's back but The Opps, and if they did not, Hangman would not be "the man" right now. Joe admits he is surprised that this did not happen sooner, as he has forgotten who he was and was so bloodlusted with going after The Death Riders that he forgot about the man who called himself the champion, and that Hangman "is no champion." Joe says Hangman may have the "fighting champion" hustle, but he provided the opportunity and he is collecting on what is owed. Joe then says that what is standing in front of him is "a fraud" and that he is here to check him, and that he will beat, break and torture Hangman, who will get his licks in, get his fight back, give his best effort and try to be the man that he says he is before he chokes him unconscious, takes his belt, and shows him who he really is as Hangman knows his places and provides the world with a true champion. Hangman asks why he has to explain to tough guys like Joe that the proof of who he is does not stand in their opinion of him, but when the bell rings, and while Joe may beat his ass for a while at WrestleDream, but for every shot Joe gives him, he will give Joe two back. If Joe locks him in the Coaquina Clutch, he will not tap again, and that the match will be in his favor for every second that ticks in their match, as Joe can not outlast him. He says that when the match is over and Joe is on his back having been beaten as fairly as possible, he hopes Joe brings the same energy as he did at All In to stand up, shake his hand, look him in the eye and know that he is the champion of the world.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Alicia Atout interviews The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). Briscoe says the word of the day is "multifacetification," for tonight, they have a big night as well as a big week, as Willow Nightingale will be teaming with JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) on Collision and there is no doubt that they will get the job done. As for tonight, Kyle O'Reilly will face "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and beat his ass for attacking Hologram, which he says will not go unpunished. O'Reilly says that he despises any other man named Kyle and tells the fans to cheer for Kyle, because if he does not hear even one "Let's go, Kyle" chant, he is going to lose it. Roderick Strong tells O'Reilly to bring the TNT Championship home. Brisco also proclaims that Orange Cassidy is "freshly back" and will be reviving his rivalry with PAC and giving him the beating that he "truly, rightfully deserves," and that Tomohiro Ishii will take on Jon Moxley in what will be "a slobberknocker" and that Ishii will "drop bombs" on Moxley. Orange then has everyone put their hands out, which everyone but Roderick Strong - including Alicia Atout - takes part in.

Jon Moxley beats Tomohiro Ishii by submission with the Bulldog Choke.

Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) as they knock on Tony Khan's door. Nicholas says he is desperate for a money match, and Matthew says that they have two tickets to watch Jurassic Express' return match later tonight.

We see a video package for "Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW Women's World Championship at WrestleDream.

The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) beat The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) in a Street Fight.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Don Callis Family. Don Callis says his family is smarter than everyone else and that no strategy is necessary, then demands that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander destroy Kota Ibushi on Collision. He also calls Kyle O'Reilly is an irritant and such a mark for "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher that he neamed himself after Kyle. Callis also stats that Brodido will not get a shot at the Unified Championship, and Rocky "Azucar" Romero brags about Hechicero ripping Bandido's shoulder out of its socket. Callis says that "The Alpha" Konouske Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada will work together like a well-oiled machine, and after they win tonight, the family will roll into WrestleDream and win the AEW World Championship to claim all of the gold.

Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) beat KM and Orion. During the match, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are seen on the upper-left corner of the crowd on the hard cam. After the match, The Young Bucks attack Jurassic Express, and kick Luchasaurus in the groin as he goes for a double choke slam before hitting him with an EVP-Trigger. Nicholas then challenges Jurassic Express to a match against The Young Bucks at WrestleDream before hitting Jack Perry with a TK Driver.

Backstage, we hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir). PAC says that he is looking for a snack to whet his appetite and that he will outwrestle and outclass Orange Cassidy before making his suffer, then move upwards and outwards as The Death Riders have ambition that far outweighs the likes of Orange. Wheeler says he and Orange used to be good friends and that tonight will hurt him almost as much as it will Orange, but if The Death Riders are to elevate AEW to as high as it can be, then they must "trim the fat and cut the shit" and separate the winners from the losers. Garcia says it is not about wins and losses, and that they see a lot of losers and that winning is a choice. He says that The Death Riders will keep winning, because that is what they do.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher retains the TNT Championship against Kyle O'Reilly. After the match, Lance Archer goes for a choke slam on O'Reilly, but Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii get in the ring. Rocky "Azucar" Romero evens the numbers game before Mark Briscoe shows up and cleans house. Fletcher and Briscoe almost come to blows, but they stop themselves, and Fletcher leaes the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and Lance Archer. Fletcher says that he has Mark Briscoe's number on any given day and that he has beaten Briscoe twice. When it is announces that Briscoe will face Fletcher for the TNT Championship at WrestleDream, Fletcher is aghast, and he, Callis and Archer leave.

Mercedes Moné's TBS Championship open challenge opponent is revealed to be Lacey Lane.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Lacey Lane.

We hear from Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos. Guevara says that Eddie Kingston did not win against Dralistico; he just survived. He then says that Eddie will face Mortos on Collision and tells Eddie to say his prayers and tell his family that he loves them, because The Beast Mortos will be the end of him. We then hear from Eddie Kingston and Hook. Eddie says he beat Dralistico because of Guevara, and now Guevara is going to get Mortos' ass kicked.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) beats Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) in a Double Jeopardy Elimination Match for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships after Bandido's shoulder injury leaves him unable to perform the 21-Plex and Okada tags himself in to hit Bandido with the Rainmaker, leaving Takeshita in a better position to knock Brody King off the ring apron with a knee.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale and JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight). Speedball says it blows his mind that people who call themselves the greatest tag team of all time can grab a microphone and make excuses for their horrible actions, which is why JetSpeed will always respect people who stand up to bullies like Willow Nightingale. Jet says he had Dax looking up at the lights and questions if FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) are top guys when they have to take shortcuts to win. Willow says that regardless of whoever is at ringside, it will be three-on-three, and Knight tells Stokely Hathaway to get another track suit.

Backstage, we hear from Stokely Hathaway and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Stokely admits that he has a smidge of respect for JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) for stepping into the ring with the greatest tag team today, but he does not respect Willow, saying that Dax would have beaten Knight if it were not for Willow. He says he does not need hoes when he has "two bad bitches" who hate Willow Nightingale just as much as he does: Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. Penelope says that she and Megan bring beauty and power personified, and Megan says that she brings balance before telling Willow that smiles and positivity do not make her a hero, as she does not stand a chance in any universe where she walks. Stokely tells JetSpeed that they do not stand a chance either, and on Collision, they will put JetSpeed and Willow in their place.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Brodido (Bandido and Brody King). Bandido says he is not making excuses for tonight's loss, and says he costs them the match. Brody King says Bandido is the one to say "never stop fighting" and that they will never stop fighting, and at WrestleDream, they will continue to be tag team champions.

Orange Cassidy beats PAC. During the match, PAC leads Orange Cassidy out of the ring and into the stands, where he hits Orange with a piledriver only to be handcuffed to a barricade by his ankle by Darby Allin. PAC frees himself and dives back into the ring in time, but Orange Cassidy wins with a roll-up. After the match, Darby satres down PAC from the stands. PAC goes after Darby only to be blinded with pepper spray. Wheeler Yuta charges at Darby only to be thrown over the announce table, then Darby pulls out a stun gun and keeps Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia at bay. Claudio and Garcia have to keep Moxley away from Darby, as does Marina Shafir. Darby tries to light a Molotov concktail, but he is taken down by security before he can light it up. Darby is restrained as The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, Shafir) are kept back.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 10, 2025

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is now a member of the commentary team. Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander after fending off Lance Archer and Rocky "Azucar" Romero as Don Callis distracts the referee. After the match, Hangman says he did not spill a gallon of his blood to win the AEW World Championship only to have MJF change the stipulations of his matches and have every opponent have someone like Don Callis with them. He says the most important word of "All Elite Wrestling" is "wrestling," which is what he plans to do as AEW World Champion. Suddenly, Don Callis returns with "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher says Hangman's sentiment is lovely, but says it does not matter, for while Hangman holds the title, The Don Callis Family runs AEW. He also mentions that he is awaiting an answer to his proposal. Hangman says Fletcher is lucky after what he did last week, and says that if he wants to speak to him, then he needs to get in the ring and look him in the eyes as he does it. Callis allows Fletcher to enter the ring, and Hangman tells Fletcher that he sees potential in him, yet he cannot put on his socks. He also admits that above all else, he sees himself six years ago standing across the ring from Chris Jericho hoping to be World Champion, but after last week, he is not ready. Fletcher says he has heard this all before and that he decides when his prime is, saying it begins right now and will continue for as long as he pleases. He says he is ready to be a World Champion right now. Hangman tells Fletcher that if he truly wants this, he will give him a shot at the AEW World Championship at All Out. At the same time, he must do it himself and earn it, leave Don Callis behind, and find some socks. Fletcher says he does not need anyone to beat him, and while it will be man-to-man at All Out, he will be leaving with the AEW World Championship and will not fail like Hangman has before.

In backstage footage from Collision, MJF says that he hates Mark Briscoe so much that he dictated that the honeymoon with his newly married wife would not start until Mark Briscoe was dead, and after what he did to Mark, he will accept any stipulation thrown at him.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) in catering. The Young Bucks look forward to spending the money for tonight's main event on DoorDashing and casinos. Jon Moxley then shows up and clears the table and tells The Young Bucks that nothing has changed, and tells them to show up to win.

Alex Windsor and Riho beat Mercedes Moné and Emi Sakura by submission with a single leg Boston Crab from Riho to Sakura.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Ricochet says that The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) are cowards who love to play the numbers game, and proposes that he and MVP handle things in the ring with their seconds in the back before he and Gates of Agony embarrass The Hurt Syndicate one more time.

Stokely Hathaway and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring. Stokely says that their match at All Out is going to be a fight that FTR is going to win. He says that the fans look like "extras from Roseanne" and that none of them get any hoes. Dax Harwood says this could and should have been a dream match, then dares anybody in the crowd to fight him. As FTR mouths off at a fan, they soon jump a cameraman and a member of security, and referees have to run in to restore order.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) and mentions Ricochet's "gentleman's agreement." Shelton says that if Ricochet can be trusted to leave his men in the back, then he will face him solo and put him on his back.

Ricochet beats Shelton Benjamin after Shelton takes Ricochet's scissors and rips them in half only for Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) to get involved, allowing Ricochet to win with a schoolkid pin. After the match, MVP and Bobby Lashley show up and brawl with Gates of Agony, and Shelton superkicks Ricochet. Security rushes in to restore order.

We hear from Hook, who says that he is cool with Samoa Joe and The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) having his back. He says that his being replaced is what it is, then says it is time to stand on his own...or maybe not.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher. Callis says he has such faith in Fletcher and knows he will take the AEW World Championship home. Fletcher says they will have their hands on the AEW World Championship once again.

Jamie Hayter runs into the ring to even the numbers game, but inadvertently takes out Statlander. Thekla then hits Toni with a Spear.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale. Willow says she tries to stand up for the good and says there are those who don't get it and need to be punched in the face, such as Marina Shafir. Harley Cameron shows up with a guitar and wants Willow on her team while also mentioning Willow's former friendship with Kris Statlander. Willow says that she and Statlander will never be friends again, and tells Harley to be careful who she is friends with and to watch her back.

Before the next match, The Young Bucks' (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) entrance and chyron consists of their real names as well as some unflattering pictures of themselves as the original Dynamite theme plays.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli) beat The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) in a $500,000 10-Man Tag Match after The Young Bucks counter the 21-Plex and use the ropes for leverage. After the match, Brodido attack The Young Bucks and take their brawl to the back while The Deather Riders attack The Opps. As this goes on, Darby Allin runs into the ring and beats up Moxley when he is suddenly attacked from behind by Daniel Garcia in a black hoodie. Marina Shafir then allows Daniel Garcia the honor of curb stomping Darby Allin into a metal folding chair while the fans chant "Fuck you, Danny!" At Moxley's behest, Garcia does it a second time before going for a ground and pound on Darby until Moxley and Shafir tell him to stop.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 3, 2025

Gabe Kidd interrupts the start of the show, wanting to know where Darby Allin is. He says that the 2300 Arena is not big enough for Darby to be hiding in the rafters before Darby Allin suddenly appears in the ring and fights Gabe Kidd. Kidd exposes a turnbuckle, but Darby is the one to use it against him first before Kidd can do the same. Darby and Kidd keep brawling, and Darby soon hits Kidd with a Coffin Drop. Back in the ring, Darby goes for a Coffin Splash, but Kidd counters with a rear naked choke. Darby rakes the eyes, then knocks Wheeler Yuta off the ring apron when Yuta shows up before getting the better of Kidd again. Darby then pulls a skateboard with thumbtacks glued to the bottom of it out from underneath the ring. Wheeler falls victim to the skateboard first - and gets a few thumbtacks in his back for it - before Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir and Claudio Castagnoli arrive. As the three of them are about the surround the ring, the lights go out, then Hook shows up when the lights come back on. All of a sudden, he is joined by Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs, who run right by and raise hell. Willow Nightingale also shows up, and the situation becomes a four-on-four brawl all over the ring. Yuta and Hook take their brawl to the back, and Joe, Hobbs and Willow soon start cleaning house. Meanwhile, Darby Allin and Gabe Kidd are also brawling backstage, and Gabe Kidd pulls a claw hammer out of a toolbox. He tries to strike Darby with it, but Darby soon throws powder in his eyes and chokes him out with a rag. The rag seems to have a chemical substance on it which sends Gabe Kidd into unconsciousness before Darby Allin stuffs Gabe Kidd in a body bag tied to the back of a red Dodge pick-up truck, which soon drags Gabe Kidd painfully out of the arena as soon as Darby takes the wheel.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Alex Windsor with a roll-up after Windsor is able to break the Statement Maker with a pinfall attempt. After the match, Windsor offers to shake Mercedes' hand, but Mercedes flips her off. Windsor hits her with the takedown from behind, but Mercedes puts her in a Statement Maker. All of a sudden, Riho - who has not been seen in a while - shows up and hits Mercedes with a top rope stomp before drop kicking her out of the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs. When asked where Hook stands with them, Hook shows up and says he does not need either of them and that he fights his own battles. He also takes offense to being replaced in The Opps (Joe, Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) with Hobbs while he was injured, but Joe says it was because opportunities were coming and that Hobbs was ready while Hook was not. He says that Hook has the right to be angry with him because he made the call, then tells him that at some point, he will need their help whether he wants or not, and they will still have his back.

Backstage, we hear from Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). He says his problems with The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) predate AEW and that they have never gotten on the same page because for The Hurt Syndicate, it is business, while for him, it is personal. As Ricochet says that The Hurt Syndicate now has to rely on past legacies, Toa Liona says that is all The Hurt Synidcate has left after their tag team title reign ended, and and now their legacy is next. Bishop Kaun and Ricochet says they are now dominant and the future of AEW, and Ricochet says they should settle this like men at All Out. He says that afterwards, they will stand above The Hurt Syndicate. Ricochet then states that this is not a request, but a demand.

Mark Briscoe heads to the ring. Mark calls the 2300 Arena "hallowed ground" where he and his brother Jay Briscoe fell in love with professional wrestling and have been blazing ever since, and right now, his focus is on a young man named "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and the TNT Championship. He then states that this means having a conversation with Don Callis, who he says looks like Elton John dressed like a prosthetic penis for Halloween before calling him out and telling him to choose the man he wants to face him. Callis shows up with Lance Archer and Rocky "Azucar" Romero and states that Mark is very impatient to get his answer, but he is busy getting Fletcher and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander ready for tonight's main event. He says announces that his opponent will be none other than "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, who shows up and has a staredown with Mark in the middle of the ring before Callis tells Mark to "save it for Saturday." Mark says Callis must love to mess with his head before telling Takeshita that he will kick his ass, then says he is in a fighting mood and wants another one of his men. Rocky Romero volunteers to give Mark a fight at first, but Lance Archer ends up entering the ring.

Mark Briscoe beats Lance Archer with a top rope Sunset Flip Powerbomb followed by the Froggy 'Bow.

In footage from earlier today, "Timeless" Toni Storm talks of the many stories that could be told in the 2300 Arena, then says insanity is relative before daring anyone to face her for the Women's World Championship. She then says God does not judge, for it is her job.

As Harley Cameron says they are undefeated and heading to the top before calling out Bandido and Brody King, Wheeler Yuta shows up and tells Statlander that The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) have her back before Marina Shafir shows up. Statlander tells Shafir that she got their friend's message, then Yuta heads to the ring for the next match.

MVP wants to know what happened to Ricochet, as he used to be a dynamite and exciting professional wrestling until he became "a pathetic kiss-ass" and "a joke." He tells Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) not to let Ricochet turn their career into a punchline. He then says that when The Hurt Syndicate walk into the room, they are given a wide berth and they command respect. MVP accepts Ricochet's challenge and looks forward to punching Ricochet in his mouth.

Adam Copeland heads to the ring when he is suddenly attacked by FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Christian Cage soon gets in the ring to assist Copeland, and security soon has to step in to stop the brawl. When security starts having a hard time, the Ring of Honor locker room has to empty out to restore order. Order does not last long when one of the wrestlers gets hit with a spike piledriver, and Adam Priest, who is initially part of the locker room trying to stop FTR, ends up having to be separated as well when he is forced to throw hands.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for August 20, 2025

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson heads to the ring to start tonight's show, then guests on commentary for this week. Will Ospreay shows up and heads to the ring afterwards. Ospreay talks about a time when he went to perform in Glasgow, Scotland, got drunk, saw blue lights, and got an advertisement for Gregg's Sausage Rolls instead of the police. "Sausage Rolls" gets a "Daddy Cool"-style chant from the fans. He says that he has grown up in front of the fans and thanks them for their support over the years, then announces that he has not been medically cleared for Forbidden Door, then says he will take this in his own hands. He says that the Lights Out Steel Cage Match is unsanctioned and that anything that happens to him is on him and not AEW, then says he is aware of the risks and is comfortable taking them as AEW means so much for him. Ospreay says that if there is not even a small chance that he can wrestle again after Sunday, then he is leaving everything in the ring, for he is doing this for revenge and he and his team will tear The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Gabe Kidd) apart. As he says that he will take a pound of flesh from Jon Moxley before he can take a scalpel, Moxley and Marina Shafir head through the crowd and to the ring. Moxley and Ospreay have a staredown in the middle of the ring, then Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta show up. Ospreay tells Moxley that he is coming for him on Sunday, and if he wants to get rid of him, he will have to do it himself. JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) are the first to come to Ospreay's aid, then Hiroshi Tanahashi shows up and starts cleaning house. This leads to the first match of the night.

JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) and Hiroshi Tanahashi beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) in a six-man tag match. During the match, members of the Bullet Club War Dogs - Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, Robbie X and Drilla Maloney - show up and distract the ref, then Will Ospreay shows up with a bodybag, which distracts Moxley. Tanahashi wins the match for his team with the High Fly Flow. After the match, The Death Riders and the War Dogs work together, then Will Ospreay dares The Death Riders to approach him. The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) suddenly show up and superkick Ospreay, then Paragon (Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) show up and stop The Young Bucks from opening the bodybag. The Death Riders open the bodybag only to find Darby Allin inside. Darby attacks Moxley as The Opps suddenly jump into the brawl, which spills all over the arena. Darby ends up hitting a Coffin Drop from the mezzanine onto multiple people.

Tony Schiavone introduces "The Rated R Superstar" Adam Copeland to the ring. They are both soon joined by Christian Cage. Copeland has to stop Christian from doing his full "Shut your mouths while I am conducting business" and chalks him still doing it up to being an asshole, then says sometimes one needs an asshole and that Christian is his asshole. Christian says he has taken time to actually find himself and found that he does not need to change and that he is perfect just the way that he is. He admits that he and Copeland are not on the same page by a long shot, but at this point, they are writing in the same book, and while some people were expecting a happy reunion, this reunion is one made out of necessity. Christian says that Copeland is helping him with his problems while he helps Copeland with his problems, and while he cannot promise anything beyond that, this version of himself will still be the best tag team partner Copeland ever had. As Copeland and Christian shake hands, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne show up. Sabian accuses Christian of pandering for the fans that he despised, and Mother Wayne points at the video screen and a message from "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne. Nick Wayne says Christian came out to save his old friend Copeland, and while Christian did not take his head off, he broke his life, which saved his life for the time being, and took Forbidden Door from him. He says that he would have turned a reunion into a farewell tour at Forbidden Door and taken their careers from them, and says that while it is a blessing in disguise he will not be there, he warns that he is always one step ahead. We then see footage of Killswitch being brought back to life on a mad doctor's hospital gurney, then Killswitch shows up for the first time in about a year. Killswitch choke slams Copeland, and when Christian confronts him after going after Sabian, he eventually suffers the same fate.

After the match, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin show up and stand at the middle of the ramp.

We see a video package for Swerve Strickland vs. "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Unified Championship at Forbidden Door.

"Hangman" Adam Page heads to the ring. Hangman talks about how he was jumped from behind in the parking lot by MJF, as he handles things in a back-stabbing, underhanded way. He says MJF cannot handle anything head-on because he does not have the balls to do it. Hangman says that calling MJF out to beat him up a few days early is a waste of time due to MJF being an insecure and gutless coward, then says there will be nothing underhanded or back-stabbing at Forbidden Door when he shoves his boot up MJF's ass. MJF's music hits, but MJF fails to show, and Tony Schiavone tells Hangman that MJF is backstage and that if Hangman leaves the ring before finishes, something bad is going to happen. MJF appears on the video screen, states that Hangman is at his most vulnerable when he is angry, and reveals that he, Ricochet and Gates of Agony have kidnapped Mark Briscoe. MJF requests three things in exchange for Briscoe, and if he rejects any of them, he will set Briscoe on fire. MJF demands a title change by disqualification, a title change by count-out, and demands that he does not have to use his Casino Gauntlet Contract to face Hangman at Forbidden Door. He then gives Hangman until the count of five, and Hangman is forced to give MJF what he wants. After MJF thanks Hangman, Hangman heads to the back with a metal folding chair. After the commercial break, "Hangman" Adam Page finds Ricochet and hits him in the back with the metal folding chair, demanding MJF's location. Security jumps in, and one member says MJF has left. That member gets punched out, then MJF leaves as Gates of Agony is ticked off.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for August 13, 2025

MJF heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He is soon joined by "Hangman" Adam Page. MJF says he has known Hangman for a long time and it has become clear to him that Hangman is most vulnerable when he is angry, and he plans to make him so angry that he loses the AEW World Championship on the first defense. MJF says Hangman is only standing because he does not feel like breaking him right now. Hangman slaps the microphone out of MJF's hand before getting tired of his "edgelord shit" and tells him that he will not defend unless MJF cashes in his Casino Gauntlet contract. He says that if MJF is not here to cash in his contract, then he can walk away and tell everyone he does not have the stomach to face him. MJF says that Hangman, not he, is the problem, as he is treated like he is perfect. He says that he has learned from getting beaten up for being just a little bit different that if God is all-knowing and all-powerful, he is not all good, and he will prove Hangman is nothing more than a fraud and "a weak-minded, alcoholic little boy." MJF also says that he would rather been seen as "the Devil" rather than a fake like Hangman, because at least he is real. He then says he will pull the wolf's sheep clothing and crucify the fan's God Hangman. Hangman says he understands the point MJF is trying to make, but nobody knows his faults more than he does, and as much as he has tried to look past them, he will not run from them like MJF would. He says that MJF talks about Forbidden Door as if he has a match even though he does not, yet he has a contract for the World Championship any time he wants, and he will not take his shot because he is afraid and he wants an insurance policy as he does not have what it takes. Hangman tells MJF that if he wants the fans' respect, then he should take his shot, and he should prove to the fans that he is more than "an insecure, gutless coward." MJF becomes incensed and announces he will execute his contract at Forbidden Door, then realizes what he has done before the fans chant "You fucked up!" Hangman tells MJF "I'll see you at Forbidden Door...dumbass." MJF is livid as Hangman leaves.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who tells Darby Allin that whatever he thinks is happening at Forbidden Door will not be happening.

Jon Moxley beats "The Jet" Kevin Knight by submission with an inverted triangle sleeper after getting the knees up for the UFO Splash. After the match, "Speedball" Mike Bailey checks on Kevin Knight, but he is attacked by Wheeler Yuta. Darby Allin suddenly shows up with a skateboard in one hand and a body bag in the other. Kevin Knight drop kicks Moxley from out of nowhere as Marina Shafir stares down Darby, and when Wheeler Yuta charges at Darby, Darby lays him out with the skateboard and puts him in the body bag as Shafir runs away. Darby then goes for a Coffin Drop on Yuta only to be stopped and clobbered by Claudio Castagnoli, who then frees Yuta from the body bag before putting Darby in it, spinning him around and throwing him down. Yuta then grabs a metal folding chair, then wraps Darby's head around it. Will Ospreay shows up before Claudio Castagnoli can do even more damage, and he takes out not only Claudio, but also Yuta. Moxley, Yuta, Claudio and Shafir retreat, but Will Ospreay says that in return for trying to snap his neck, he will snap Moxley's. He then challenges The Death Riders (Moxley, Yuta, Claudio, Shafir) to a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Adam Copeland and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) so far, leading up to Adam Copeland vs. Stokely Hathaway later tonight.

"Timeless" Toni Storm is seen in the upper level of the arena before the next match, but all of a sudden, so is Athena, with her Casino Gauntlet contract in her hands.

Queen Aminata, Alex Windsor and Willow Nightingale beat Mercedes Moné, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla and Skye Blue in a trios match by submission following the Sharpshooter from Windsor to Skye Blue. After the match, Athena and "Timeless" Toni Storm brawl in the upper level of the arena while both teams brawl in the ring with Julia Hart joining in. Mercedes Moné gives Windsor a beating while telling her she will never be champion at her expense. Athena and Toni's brawl soon makes its way to the ring, and Toni soon gets the better of Athena. Windsor soon gets up and clotheslines Athena, then Toni gets in the ring and challenges Mercedes and Athena to a tag match next week.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Will Ospreay. Ospreay says he has gotten with Tony Khan regarding the Lights Out Steel Cage Match, then announces that "The Ace" Hiroshi Tanahashi will be on his team as part of the match. Regarding his herniated disks, he is fine, then says he wants a chat with Jon Moxley next week.

Before the next match, two security guards have to force Stokely Hathaway into the ring.

Adam Copeland beats Stokely Hathaway by disqualification after FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) get involved - making their restraining order null and void - and Stokely throws powder into Copeland's face. As FTR go for the double-team spike piledriver, Christian Cage suddenly shows up with Spike in his hands. Christian swings at FTR, then "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne shows up with a metal folding chair. Christian gets the better of him, and Kip Sabian shows up only to get Speared. Christian and Copeland then back into each other, but both men soon let their guard down and Christian hands Spike back to Copeland before walking off. Copeland stops Christian and both men hug it out. Christian nods, then leaves the ring.

We see footage of a skyscraper as a storm brews. We then see the Hook signal in the sky.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) get pyro, but no entrance music, when they show up for the next match. The TitanTron says "Mr. Instant Replay" and "Slick Nick" as the crowd chants "Jobbers." They also get no chyron and are called "these guys" by ring announcer Justin Roberts.

Brody King, Tomohiro Ishii, Hologram, and Hiromu Takahashi beat The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and The Don Callis Family ("The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) in an eight-man tag match. Early on in the match, The Young Bucks superkick ring announcer Justin Roberts. After the commercial break, it is announced that The Young Bucks have both been individually fined $10,000 and that there will be no more ring announcing for the rest of the night, although Roberts is replaced by Tony Schiavone at the end of the match.

Renee Paquette interviews Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana at the ramp. Swerve says that wrestlers are tough people and get hurt all the time, and that he is focused on the AEW Unified Championship, when asked about meeting with AEW medical earlier today. Suddenly, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada shows up and tells Swerve he has no chance, and that he might as well give up now. Swerve simply says "Whose house?" Okada then calls Swerve a bitch, and gets shoved. Security swiftly intervenes before things get worse.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interivews The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir). Upon finding out that Hiroshi Tanahashi is in the Lights Out Steel Cage Match, Moxley heads towards the extras room, where he finds The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson).

It is announced by Tony Schiavone that Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will face "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian at Forbidden Door. It is also announced that The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson), The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) and Gabe Kidd will face Darby Allin, "The Ace" Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi in the Lights Out Steel Cage Match.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) beat La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, The Beast Mortos) in a trios match with a Coaquina Clutch from Samoa Joe to Dralistico.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page in the parking lot when Hangman is suddenly attacked from behind by MJF, who then tells Hangman that when it comes to breaking him, "You ain't seen nothin' yet."
