We see a video package for Powerhouse Hobbs vs. "Hangman" Adam Page in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, coming up next.
Backstage, The Don Callis Family are seen attacking Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) in the parking lot. "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander sends a message not to mess with family, and Don Callis hopes that The Young Bucks will join his family.
"Hangman" Adam Page beats Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after Hangman hits Hobbs with a cowboy boot to the head in the crowd, causing Hobbs to fall through the pyrotechnics control table. After the match, Hangman is attacked by Katsuyori Shibata, and Samoa Joe shows up with a metal folding chair to punish Hangman with. The cage lowers as Shibata, Joe and Hangman are all in the two wrestling rings. Eddie Kingston and Hook show up to even the numbers game, and Joe and Shibata flee as the cage is almost down. Hangman says that if Joe wanted him in a cage, all he had to do was ask. Hangman then challenges Joe to a steel cage match at Full Gear.
Tony Schiavone introduces Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat to the ring. Steamboat talks about his early days in the business when FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway suddenly show up. Stokely calls Ricky Steamboat "Rookie" and states that FTR is the greatest tag team alive today before introducing himself and proclaiming that FTR will make history and become three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions at Full Gear. Stokely says it would be an honor to have Steamboat in the front row for the proceedings. Cash apologizes for Stokely's behavior before talking about how FTR were Steamboat's partners in his retirement match. Dax then talks about how Steamboat trained him, then cannot remember anything Steamboat taught him and says Steamboat did not say one intelligent thing in his life. Steamboat says one thing he did not tell him is that his attitude has gone to the toilet. Dax mentions Steamboat telling him to save his money, then says that if he took his own advice, he and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair would not be here tonight. He then says that he is now a bigger legend than Steamboat ever was, and this leads to Steamboat confronting Dax. Dax grabs Steamboat by the face, and Steamboat pushes him back. Dax tells Steamboat to get out of his ring, to which Steamboat said he would have told FTR to kiss his ass before stating that discretion is the better part of valor and that he will be the smarter man today. As Steamboat leaves, FTR attacks Steamboat and goes for a spike piledriver before Brodido rush in and fight FTR. Cash Wheeler becomes the recipient of a 21-Plex before Wheeler is clotheslined out of the ring and Steamboat gets a few forearms in on Dax's face.
Darby Allin and The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, PAC) in Men's Blood and Guts Match by submission after O'Reilly makes Moxley tap to the heel hook despite Moxley's attempts to counter O'Reilly. During the match, it is revealed that Mark Briscoe has been attacked backstage, and Roderick Strong heads to the ring in his place. It is later revealed that The Don Callis Family were the ones to attack Mark Briscoe and that Darby Allin and The Conglomeration will be down a man for the rest of the match. The attack does not stop Mark Briscoe from making his way to the ring, breaking the lock to the cage door with bolt cutters, and going to town on The Death Riders. Gabe Kidd shows up near the end of the match, and he is forced to the back after helping PAC slam Darby through two flaming tables.
