Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 8, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Tim Bosby at the announce desk. Bosby talks about his recent victories Timothy Thatcher and Samuray del Sol, then announces that he will cash in the Cobra Cup at the right place and the right time. He then mentions VaShawn Harvey and Oso Suave being a thorn in his side. When Dustin Starr announces that VaShawn Harvey has a match coming up next, Tim Bosby decides to do some scouting from the commentary desk.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats VaShawn Harvey. During the match, Oso Suave is about to hand his chain over to VaShawn, but Tim Bosby stops him from doing so and says something to Marko Harris, who then plays possum. Marko gets the win with a victory roll after VaShawn Harvey tries to pick him up off the mat. After the match, Bosby puts Oso's chain around Marko's neck.

We hear from Sycho Simon, who says that the holidays are his favorite time of year and that he is trying to top last year after what he did to King Cobra and Derrick King in previous years. He wonders who is coming home, then says he is a home wrecker and that he will beat everyone in Memphis Wrestling into the ground and that he can and he will for as long as he is Heritage Champion.

We see a video package chronicling the events between Gio Savage and The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte).

Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) at the announce desk. Lamonte still considers their suspension unfair, then calls out Gio Savage. After the commercial break, Gio Savage shows up. Gio Savage says he did not come here to jawjack and that he did not come alone. He is soon joined by another man wearing a gold chain, and he and Gio Savage brawl with The L.A. Hustlers. The mystery man is identified on commentary as RJW. RJW catches Lamonte for a huge Samoan Drop, and when Bradley gets in the ring, RJW is able to match him blow for blow. Gio Savage almost knocks Bradley off his feet, and he and RJW clothesline Bradley out of the ring.

We hear from "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox, who says that he cannot stand Memphis and that they do understand someone like him, stating they would rather chant for someone like Colton Cage. Knox says that the Junior Heritage Championship looks better around his waist.

Main Event Money ("Main Event" Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) beats The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) to advance in the Trios Tag Tournament after "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock shows up with one of his Secret Service agents and distracts The Bizness Dawgs.

We see footage of Nixi XS travelling around the world, then Dustin Starr interviews Nixi XS at the announce table. Nixi XS says she has been travelling the world for the last six weeks and enjoying things that the fans could not afford, then says she has beaten everyone in the women's locker room and has beaten the best talent Europe has to offer. She says that the fans cannot imagine her talent and the things that she has done since winning the women's title. Dustin Starr then mentions that as per King Cobra, she has missed weeks' worth of title defenses and that she will get caught up by facing four other women in a Five Starr Five-Way Match with the Women's Championship on the line. Nixi XS is livid.

We hear from The Slaughterhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick). Reverend Ash Taylor says it is not over between them and The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce, Marrow, Sister Asa) and that their war has just begun, and that it will keep going until someone stops breathing.

We hear from "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Gift" Ray Sanders before their main event match.

Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats "The Problem" Aaron Roberts after Derrick King stops "The Chosen One" Zay Washington from interfering.
