Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 31, 2016

During the pre-show, Lita reports from backstage in Hartford, Connecticut. Lana shows up, and Lita asks how Rusev is doing. Lana says Rusev is a survivor, and says WWE is cheating them out of opportunities due to their not being American.

Lita interviews Cesaro backstage. He knows he and Sheamus aren't the tag team champs on Raw, but the two of them have beaten The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) on separate occasions earlier this year, and they will eventually get their title win.

Bill Goldberg starts tonight's show. Paul Heyman interrupts before Goldberg has much of a chance to speak, and while he has respect for Goldberg and his ability, he is not a physical threat and is carrying out Brock Lesnar's instructions. He says he's coming here with back-up, and has an announcement that will make everyone happy. He says Lesnar is an impatient man, and that he will not wait until Survivor Series as he wants to fight Goldberg tonight. When he introduces Lesnar, Lesnar's music hits, but Lesnar doesn't show up. We see Heyman laughing, and we learn this is a trick. Goldberg is about to trap Heyman in a corner for messing with him when Rusev shows up and gets in the ring with Goldberg. Rusev asks Goldust just who he thinks he is, and tells him he doesn't have it anymore. Rusev tells Goldberg he was great in WCW, and that he had two great moves in the Spear and the Jackhammer. He doesn't think Goldberg has the heart to keep fighting when he's down, either. Rusev calls himself the super-athlete, and says Goldberg is scared and that fear makes one weak. Rusev punches Goldberg, but Goldberg answers with a Jackhammer before hitting a spear on Heyman.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass show up to the next match dressed up as Buzz Lightyear and Woody from the Toy Story series, respectively.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) in a Trick or Street Fight.

Paul Heyman is taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Before the next match, Brian Kendrick says he proved to the world that nice guys finish last, and that he used psychology against TJ Perkins to get the title as he needs nobody's help to win. He knows Perkins is fired up, but he plans on keeping the Cruiserweight Championship.

TJ Perkins beats Brian Kendrick by count-out when Kendrick stays outside of the ring at the last second, and Kendrick retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Perkins attacks Kendrick after the match and makes him submit to the knee bar while officials try to break them up.

General Manager Mick Foley comes face-to-face with Braun Strowman, who wants to be part of Team Raw at Survivor Series. Foley tells him that there is a battle royal tonight, and the winner becomes part of Team Raw. Strowman finally gets his competition.

General Manager Mick Foley shows up. He thanks everyone on the Raw roster who made Hell In A Cell what it is...except for Jeri-KO (Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens), who left a bad taste in his mouth. Jeri-KO show up, and Owens chalks it up to Foley being irritated about him making history. Jericho tells Foley he should be thanking them for proving what a real time can do, and that they are the ones to anchor Team Raw. Foley admits he needs them for Team Raw, and that leads to...Jeri-KO making fun of Foley's record in Hell In A Cell matches. Foley tells Owens he could have walked out a legend, but instead made a mockery out of the Cell. Jericho and Owens don't care, even after Foley says he had to stop Commissioner Stephanie McMahon from coming out and suspending Jericho indefinitely for his actions. He then says that he also needs "The Guy" for Team Raw..."The Guy" being Roman Reigns, who shows up. Roman thanks Foley for the vote of confidence, then calls Jeri-Ko "Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick" before saying he would have dressed up as a stupid idiot if they didn't run out of Chris Jericho costumes. Jericho then teases putting Roman on The List, but then proclaims nobody here is worthy of being on The List, and says he'd be a better United States champ that Roman despite knowing nothing about the United States. He then mocks Roman for the beating Rusev gave him last night, but Roman makes it clear he's still down to fight. Foley makes a match between Roman and Jericho for tonight official.

Braun Strowman wins a battle royal to become the final member of Team Raw along with Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.

Rich Swann, Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander beat Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari.

Charlotte arrives on a throne held by four men, much like she did at Hell In A Cell. She brags about her victory from last night, and tells Sasha Banks she pushed her to her limits. At the end of the day, she considers Sasha Banks to be just like the other women in the Women's Division playing for second place. She wants Nikki Bella that she put her on the shelf for a year, and that if she does it again, it will be forever. She also calls out Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch and Carmella by saying the Raw Women's title makes her the best in the business. She also calls Bayley "a weak link in her team." Bayley shows up when Charlotte tells her to come out to the ring. After Bayley congratulates her for a job well done at Hell In A Cell, Charlotte mocks her, and Bayley tells her that success has gone to her head to the point that she has become the biggest jerk, and that she will never be a champion like her. Charlotte says she won't, because she'll never be her. She calls Bayley a glorified fan in a Halloween costume, and wants to see how strong she is against their Survivor Series teammate. Bayley thinks it's Dana Brooke, but it's really Nia Jax.

After the match, Owens and Jericho continue to attack Roman, then Seth Rollins shows up and fights both of them until they retreat. Rollins and Reigns stare down at the end of the show.

Perkins tells him to leave the past behind as they will always bee friends. Kendrick wants the Cruiserweight title, but Perkins tells him to be the Brian Kendrick he used to know. Kendrick then tells Perkins to let him win.

Sin Cara, Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander beat Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) are in the Social Media Lounge. They say that working out makes them a strong tag team in the ring. Xavier Woods says his favorite video game is Mario Kart: Double Dash, and that he is looking for all sorts of new video game releases as far as UpUpDownDown is concerned. As for how they will beat Sheamus and Cesaro tonight, they're keeping that a secret.

Roman Reigns retains the WWE United States Championship against Rusev in a Hell In A Cell match, giving Reigns his second Hell In A Cell victory.

Tom Phillips interviews Kevin Owens. He says that Seth Rollins will not survive tonight, and that what he will do to him make Rusev vs. Roman Reigns look like a cakewalk, and that Seth won't call himself "The Man" because he'll barely look like one while he can still be called the WWE Universal Champion.

Bayley beats Dana Brooke.

Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley talk about Survivor Series. Chris Jericho shows up wanting to be part of Team Raw along with Kevin Owens, and Mick Foley almost gets put on The List for interrupting him...but then ends up on there when he tells him that he should be concentrating on Kevin Owens' match for tonight and whether or not Owens stays in one piece.

Raw Talk is on the WWE Network immediately after Hell In A Cell, with Roman Reigns and Bayley joining as special guests.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Kevin Owens retains the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins in a Hell In A Cell match after Chris Jericho gets in the cell and assists Owens when Owens accidentally sprays the referee with a fire extinguisher hidden under the ring. After the match, Jericho hits Rollins with a Codebreaker.

Brian Kendrick beats TJ Perkins to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship after Kendrick feigns a leg injury, headbutts Perkins when he tries to check on him and makes him submit to the Captain's Hook.

Cesaro and Sheamus almost get along in the locker room...almost.

Cesaro and Sheamus beat The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) after Kofi Kingston is caught hitting Sheamus outside of the ring with Trouble In Paradise. As a result of this, The New Day (Kofi, Big E, Xavier) retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. Cesaro, who thinks he has beaten Woods by submission with the Sharpshooter and won the titles for him and Sheamus, is shocked.

Goldberg returns to Raw tomorrow night.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Raw Women's Championship almost ends before it can begin with a vicious brawl between Charlotte and Sasha Banks before the bell can ring and Sasha's back gives out. When Charlotte is about to win the title by forfeit after Sasha is placed on a stretcher, Sasha gets off the stretcher and fights Charlotte.

Charlotte beats Sasha Banks in a Hell In A Cell match to win the WWE Raw Women's Championship after throwing Sasha into a table twice and hitting the Natural Selection.

On Raw Talk, Roman Reigns says he is beat up, but proud of the Raw roster and says that everyone represented the brand. He states that he has done exactly what he said he was going to do, and that as long as he holds the WWE United States Championship, it is the title on Raw, and if anyone wants it, they'll have to come and get it. Roman knows he ruffles everyone's feathers regardless of what people think of him, and says he has two shoulders. He has one strap and is looking for another, and says that he calls Rollins his "little brother" for reason as he makes it known that he is coming for the WWE Universal Championship. He says that if their paths cross, he'll get the revenge he's never gotten.

On Raw Talk, Brian Kendrick calls his Cruiserweight Championship victory the greatest day of his entire life, and insists he be called "The Brian Kendrick" again. He says he has worked hard to stay out of trouble, got the kids look up to him, and played TJ Perkins like a fiddle. When Booker T calls Kendrick out on how he won, this leads to an argument between Kendrick and Booker, with Kendrick saying he is the smartest one in the locker room. Kendrick says he has always been a troublemaker, and that he cleaned up his act to become the person that he is today. He wishes the world for TJ Perkins, but he knew Perkins was soft coming into the match and took advantage of it. He tells Booker T he could never be the same level as him on his worst day, and says he hasn't lost a step and that he is as crafty as ever as he had to work at being smarter. Booker tells Kendrick that he'll never become a Hall of Famer by begging somebody to lay down for him, and Kendrick is stunned that he thought he was being serious when he did that, insisting it was part of the plan to become Cruiserweight Champion...and it worked.

On Raw Talk, Bayley says she knew Dana Brooke would come after her shoulder and take the easy way out, but she came out on top tonight. On the subject of Charlotte saying she is the best woman in the locker room, Bayley says she believed that she herself is the best, and that if she didn't, she wouldn't be here right now. She's bummed out to be on "the outskirts of the conversation," and while she's not as strong or as athletically gifted as the other women, she is working towards it and knows that she will push to the very end. She doubted whether she would make it to the main roster, but she is here and she is proud of the Raw women's division and says the first Women's Hell In A Cell match won't be the last. But at the same time, she feels that could have been her that could have beaten Charlotte. She then tells Charlotte they've been through a whole lot, but she's ready for her and ready for the Raw Women's Championship.

Shortly after Bayley is finished, Jeri-KO show up. Bayley leaves, as does Lita. Renee Young gets put on The List for her pumpkin shirt. They brag about their Hell In A Cell victory tonight, put random people on The List, answer Jerry "The King" Lawler's phone and tell Roman Reigns to go after every other title than his while saying that the Universal Championship is the premiere title in the WWE.

Raw Talk ends with Sheamus and Cesaro arguing with each other.

We finally meet Lauren - who also goes by Lola - in the series. She is here to celebrate Kathy's wedding to Johnny. Bryan talks about the house, and he and Nikki say they may have three or four bedrooms instead of five, and Bryan says he doesn't want to be too big as he grew up in a small house. It becomes apparent that Brie and Bryan have different meanings for the word "big" compared to the rest of the Bella clan. Nikki and Bryan argue over whether or not Nikki has humility, and snaps at Nikki for wanting his and Brie's house to be huge by his standards. Nikki thinks Bryan is jealous of her, but Bryan says he doesn't want what she has and says that he just has different opinions from what everyone else in the family does and it just happens to offend everyone.

Brie and Bryan are still outside as everyone is packing for Kathy's bachelorette party. Bryan has to fly back to Phoenix to meet with his doctors. Brie tells Nikki that Bryan is not in a good place due to his forced retirement, his surgeries and the loss of his father. We find out that Brie learned from the doctors that there is no chance of Bryan ever returning back into a wrestling ring. Bryan announces he is flying back home to the family.

Brie says that Bryan wanted to be alone in Phoenix, and that she has decided to step back and let Bryan do what is best for him.

J.J., Brie, Nikki, Kathy and Lauren head to Naples for Kathy's bachelorette party. Brie is worried about Bryan's mental state, especially since he doesn't want to be on medication for what could be a chemical imbalance in his brain that could be leading to depression and that all he does to deal with it is push it back or ignore it. Nikki wonders if her argument with Bryan may have triggered something.

J.J., Brie, Nikki, Kathy and Lauren finally make it to the Naples Grande where Kathy's bachelorette party will take place. A wine bottle is opened...with a very sharp knife.

Brie is happy to have her family to lean on as everyone goes poolside at the Naples Grande while Bryan is taking care of his own problems by himself. Johnny makes a surprise appearance. The fun is spoiled when once again, everyone says that Brie has changed, and Brie thinks Nikki is unleashing some pent-up anger by tackling her in the water.

Brie talks with Johnny over the "Brie has changed" situation. Johnny sees it as Nikki missing Brie being how she used to be and is losing her in some way. Meanwhile, Nikki and Kathy talk about Bryan, as does Brie and everyone else. It is revealed that Bryan wants to move back home to Aberdeen, Washington for three months and not speak to Brie in that time in order to deal with his personal problems.

Nikki talks to Lauren. Nikki says that she and Brie have done everything together, and that Brie was once the natural life of the party. He also announces qualifying tag team matches for the 5-on-5 tag team traditional tag team Survivor Series match, with whoever the current SmackDown tag team champs are around the time of the event automatically entering the match.

Dean Ambrose is talking with a worker in the locker room when James Ellsworth shows up. Ellsworth thanks Ambrose for all his help, and wants to return the favor by being in his corner in his match against AJ Styles. Ambrose declines and asks Ellsworth to stay here, saying they'll catch up.

Bray Wyatt beats Kane in a no-disqualification match when Randy Orton shows up and hits Kane with an RKO as both men are about to strike Wyatt. Wyatt and Luke Harper are stunned.

Andrea D'Marco interviews AJ Styles, who compares James Ellsworth to a WWE action figure thrown into the microwave and says that he's not worthy of lacing his boots. He says that Dean Ambrose will have to be carried out of the arena when he is done with him, and that if he runs into Ellsworth, he will be missing more than just his chin.

Renee Young interviews Becky Lynch in the ring. Becky says it's good to be back, but as soon as she says it's great to be back, Alexa Bliss shows up and tells Renee Young to get out of the ring, and says that when she became #1 contender, Becky Lynch was afraid of her. Becky says she wasn't allowed to leave the hospital, but Alexa says she isn't fooling anybody and tells her to hand over the SmackDown Women's title over to her, but Becky says that's not happening. Alexa says that title will eventually be hers in two weeks. She then tries to strike Becky, but Becky defends herself, and this starts a brawl where Alexa Bliss comes out on top. She then grabs a bottle of spray paint from the timekeeper's area and sprays a yellow streak down the back of Becky Lynch.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) to qualify for the traditional 5-on-5 tag team Survivor Series match.

Randy Orton says "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," to explain his actions from earlier tonight.

General Manager Daniel Bryan is met by Natalya, who wants to be team captain for the Women's Survivor Series match to beat Raw and Hell In A Cell and "bring it all back home for SmackDown. Daniel Bryan then says that there will be a match between her and Nikki Bella where the winner is team captain...and the loser is out of the traditional 5-on-5 Women's Survivor Series Match. Also, that match is happening next.

Nikki Bella beats Natalya with the STF to become team captain of the SmackDown team in the Women's 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series match. With this loss, Natalya is out of the aforementioned match. After the match, Nikki is attacked from behind by Carmella, who hits Nikki with a Bella Buster.

Andrea D'Marco interviews Dean Ambrose backstage. Dean Ambrose says that AJ Styles hasn't seen anything yet compared to the last two weeks. He tells Styles that karma is a bitch and that he's taking the World title off Styles' back.

The Miz, Maryse and The Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey) show up. The Miz says that the Intercontinental Championship is dying a slow death around Dolph Ziggler's waist, and calls Ziggler's reign "The Dolph Ziggler Burial Tour." Ziggler shows up and says the fans have a fighting champions, and if The Miz wants a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship, he's got one right now. The Miz says he will have his rematch when he is good and ready, and decides to give Ziggler a 3-on-1 fight with him, Kenny and Mikey. Heath Slater and Rhyno show up to even the odds. Heath Slater wants to know just what's wrong with The Miz, now that Maryse stands in front of him and the Spirit Squad. Miz calls Heath Slater and Rhyno a joke, but Slater says that unlike The Miz, he wouldn't run from a challenge. Miz tells Slater that The Spirit Squad want to challenge Slater and Rhyno for the SmackDown tag team titles, and while Slater is a bit reluctant, Rhyno takes the microphone and says it's on when Miz asks Slater if he's scared of some male cheerleaders.

Dolph Ziggler and The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

Heath Slater and Rhyno retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey) after one male cheerleader gets pushed off the apron into The Miz - who is bickering with Dolph Ziggler at ringside - and Rhyno hits the Gore on the other.

Dean Ambrose runs into James Ellsworth, who wants desperately to return the favor for Ambrose. Ambrose finally relents and lets him be in his corner, but tells him to be careful.

AJ Styles beats Dean Ambrose by disqualification when James Ellsworth inadvertently costs Ambrose the match - and #1 contendership for the WWE World Championship - by superkicking Styles for drop kicking him through the ropes.

Kane appears on Talking Smack. He says it is his fault for trusting Randy Orton, and says that his brother The Undertaker and Daniel Bryan are the only people he has ever trusted. He doesn't know what is going on in Orton's head as he is unpredictable, but if Orton's in the Wyatt Family, then SmackDown is a much darker place. He also warns anyone who crosses his path - including Orton - not to anger him, as bad things happen when he is angry.

Heath Slater and Rhyno show up on Talking Smack. They are happy to be in the Traditional 5-on-5 Tag Team Survivor Series Match, and want to do their part to win it for SmackDown Live. They call themselves the hottest team on SmackDown Live right no, but Slater thinks Daniel Bryan is asking this question in terms of looks and notht toughest one. Slater says he bought five stocks in Puerto Rico for $100 from The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico), but Daniel Bryan tells him that they're not even real. Slater admits he has not been good with money during the time he has been in WWE, and that he and Rhyno has to step up for SmackDown Live at Survivor Series.

James Ellsworth shows up on Talking Smack, embarrassed that he cost Dean Ambrose a shot at the WWE World Championship, and deserves whatever he has coming from Ambrose. He knew he had an opportunity to get back at AJ Styles, but it was selfish. He says he was close to having a good friendship, but not anymore, and that he has not seen him since the match.

My predictions for Hell In A Cell 2016

Rusev vs. Roman Reigns (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE United States Championship

Here it is again: these two are going at it for the United States title.

My prediction: Roman will retain.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship

Things didn't go so well last time for Seth Rollins, and now he has a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship...and this it's one-on-one with the champ himself. With Owens riding high in the WWE as he has always dreamed, will it all come crashing down on him this time around?

My prediction: Rollins will probably take the title.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Because Charlotte doing a top rope corkscrew moonsault to the outside was a dress rehearsal, that's why. Also, two women. In Hell in a Cell. Not a cage match. Hell in a Cell. What a difference two years makes.

My prediction: Sasha will retain.

Brian Kendrick vs. T.J. Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

T.J. Perkins may be the man with infinite lives, but Brian Kendrick has no lives and no continues the way that he sees his situation. He has one last shot to make a big impact in WWE, and he must beat Perkins for the Cruiserweight title to do it...

My prediction: Kendrick will probably take the title.

Sheamus and Cesaro
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

It's the two guys who can't get along vs. The Get-Along Gang that is The New Day. This is going to be something...

My prediction: Calling it now, Sheamus and Cesaro will win the tag team titles on accident and become the next Team Hell No.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass
vs.
Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

Two of the most popular tag teams on Raw are now ready to do battle. It's the gift of gab vs. the killers of magic. Who's gonna win this one.

My prediction: Enzo and Cass will probably win this one.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 24, 2016

Charly Caruso is near the arena during the pre-show. Tonight, everyone is talking about Bill Goldberg's return and the impending response from Brock Lesnar, as well as the triple threat match (some might say handicap match) between Seth Rollins and Jeri-KO (Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens). Also, Bayley and Dana Brooke will have a re-match from last week, and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) apparently have a Hummer used by Elvis Presley (despite Hummers not existing at that time) and are trying to sell it to Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Chris Jericho starts tonight's show. Jericho announces that the Triple Threat match between himself, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins has been cancelled until further notice because somebody has stolen the List of Jericho. He then says that he is not leaving the ring until The List is brought back. Kevin Owens shows up, and says he doesn't have The List and doesn't care for it, but offers to help him find it after Seth Rollins loses. Jericho says "You don't understand," and tells Owens his heart and soul is on The List. Stephanie McMahon shows up and tells Jericho that she doesn't have The List, The List will be found and that nobody leaves the arena until it is found. She also says that the Triple Threat match is still on and tells Jericho to "stop being ridiculous." As Jericho argues with Jericho, Seth Rollins shows up with The List. He reads from it when told to return it, and says that Stephanie McMahon's and "my former best friend" Kevin Owens' names are on The List. Jericho thinks this is a trick from Rollins, and says Stephanie's and Owens' names are not on The List, and demands The List be returned now. Seth tells him he will get The List back as he is a nice guy...but after making some alternations dedicated to Kevin Owens and what body parts of his will never be the same again after Sunday night. Rollins says he thrives under Hell In A Cell, and makes Owens' back the first thing he lists. followed by Owens' mouth as he will kick his teeth in and make it harder to "kiss Triple H and Stephanie's ass." He then lists Owens' ego, saying he will rip him apart, Pedigree him through the mat, and make it clear he will stop at nothing to take the Universal title and burn Triple H and Stephanie's authority to the ground. He then tells Jericho that if he wants The List back, he'd better come and get it.

Backstage, Seth Rollins runs into Stephanie McMahon, demanding that he return The List. Rollins thinks Steph has it out for him, and he says that not only will he take the Universal title, but he left The List in the locker room and doesn't have it anymore.

As Enzo Amore speaks before the next match, Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) show up and say they bribed somebody in production to shut Enzo and Big Cass up. Enzo then speaks into an invisible microphone, as does Big Cass, proving you can't shut them up ever.

Enzo Amore beats Karl Anderson when Big Cass and Luke Gallows try to distract the ref, and Big Cass sneaks in a big boot on Anderson when the ref isn't looking.

Rusev says that sometimes, he has trouble sleeping at night. But last night, he slept like a baby because he knew that Roman Reigns' reign as United States Champion will come to an end on Sunday. He plans to repay Roman for his despicable things with despicable deeds of his own. He says that the Cell is only as tough as his opponent, and on Sunday, he will crush Roman.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up. They say "shame on us" for allowing Sheamus to walk down the entrance ramp every week when nobody wants to see him. But Woods says "Don't shame us. Shame him. It's his fault." He says that The New Day will shame him tonight, on Sunday and beyond while they stay WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

Earlier today, it became apparent that Cesaro and Sheamus still haven't exactly gotten on the same page.

Cesaro and Sheamus beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) with some impressive teamwork.

Chris Jericho asks Titus O'Neil, The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) and Jinder Mahal where The List is. They're not very helpful.

Before the next match, Dana Brooke says her victory over Bayley last week was no upset...and that the rematch is an arm wrestling match. After the table is brought in, it is revealed to be just a set-up for Dana Brooke to get a cheap shot in on Bayley, but Bayley fights back despite her hurt shoulder.

As Jericho looks for The List, Stephanie McMahon tells him that Seth Rollins is trying to distance him from the Triple Threat Match and it is working. She says she has a full plate and tells him to enter the Triple Threat match, but Jericho stands his ground. Stephanie then threatens to suspend Jericho if he does not compete tonight.

Before the next match, Curtis Axel - now in wresting trunks and not cargo shorts - says he Bolieved in Bo Dallas, but he was left laying by Bo last week. He says that he has returned to his roots as he upholds the legacy of his grandfather Larry "The Axe" Hennig and his father "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, and that he will not lose tonight, especially in his home state of Minnesota.

Bo Dallas steals a victory from Curtis Axel.

Chris Jericho is still looking for The List backstage. A backstage worker tells him where it is. Braun Strowman has it, and after he says that Sami Zayn's name isn't on The List, Jericho tells him it's on Page 4. When he gets The List back, he puts Braun on The List.

Roman Reigns tells Rusev he has no idea what it's like to be in Hell in a Cell. He also says it's not personal...yet.

The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) beat The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) when Mark Henry pushes Titus O'Neil into the apron and Titus accidentally pulls on the top rope, knocking Primo off.

General Manager Mick Foley is in the ring with a table to moderate the contract signing for the Hell In A Cell match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks for the WWE Raw Women's Championship. After both women are introduced, Foley tells both of them have been shattering ceilings since they were called up to the main roster, and have ushered in a new era where women can accomplish anything. He warns them that there is no turning back after the contract is signed, and everything that comes with Hell In A Cell will happen. Charlotte demands the contract when Foley takes it off the table, and Mick Foley tells them that they have no idea what Hell In A Cell is like, and that they won't come out the same after the match. Charlotte doesn't care, saying he will risk everything to win the Raw Women's title back from "an entitled, second-rate talent," and that Sasha will learn respect. Sasha plans on become the greatest Raw Women's Champion of all time, and if she has to crawl up the ramp to get back to the back, so be it. Charlotte calls Sasha weak and implies that she is injury prone, but Sasha doesn't care. Mick Foley warns them once again that they risk a grim future if they agree to the match, as he walked in a man and walked out a shell of his former self, and that he can't go back. Foley says he knew Charlotte since she was a little girl, and that Sasha is part of Eddie Guerrero's legacy now, and tells them to let him know that they fully know the risks that come with a Hell In A Cell match. Both women sign the contract, and after Charlotte say "See you in Boston," Sasha replies with "And I'll see you in hell!"

TJ Perkins guests on commentary for the next match.

Rich Swann beats Brian Kendrick after reversing the Captain's Hook into a roll-up.

Tom Phillips interviews Kevin Owens. He says he and Chris Jericho are on the same page and that Seth Rollins will be broken, and that Rollins will give "a pathetic attempt" at Hell In A Cell. He says he has waited over 20 years for this moment, and that everyone will see what happens to Rollins as he is dismantled piece by piece and he leaves a permanent scar on Rollins and anyone watches. He says that the Universal title is all that matters, and that he will be the only one coming out of the Cell on Sunday.

Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn fight, and Zayn holds his own for a while. Braun throws Sami into a barricade and walks off, and continues to walk away when Sami Zayn makes it clear he still wants to fight.

TJ Perkins is in the locker room when Brian Kendrick shows up. Kendrick says that if he loses this Sunday, this is it for him. TJ Perkins doesn't know if he can help Kendrick the way that he is now, and tells him he should have asked his "new friends" for help. Kendrick just cuts to the chase and asks Perkins to let him win at Hell In A Cell. Perkins just walks away.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Heyman says all the chants in the world won't put Goldberg back together again when Brock Lesnar conquers him, and that the Goldberg chants are pissing Lesnar off to the point that he may take matters into his own hands with the fans. After it becomes very, very clear that the crowd is fiercely pro-Lesnar, the promo ends early.

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho meet up backstage. Jericho says that no matter what, they will still be best friends after tonight's main event.

Next week: Halloween Raw! Goldberg returns!

Seth Rollins beats Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho in a triple threat match after reversing a double superplex into a double pin. Jericho and Owens continue to attack Rollins after the match until security breaks it up. Rollins breaks free of security's grasp as Owens leaves, and Rollins and Owens continue to brawl, bowling over security as they go at it. The show ends with Owens hitting Rollings with a powerbomb to the ring apron.

It doesn't matter which team they fight, because at Final Battle, they will take the tag team titles back.

Kyle O'Reilly beats Jonathan Gresham. After the match, "Hangman" Adam Page shows up and tries to hit Rite of Passage on O'Reilly, but Bobby Fish makes the save and fights off Page until he is attacked by Adam Cole. Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara are tired of BJ Whitmer and "Punishment" Damien Martinez attacking them, and they call them out for a fight. They show up, and Kevin Sullivan guests on commentary for the match.

BJ Whitmer and "Punishment" Damian Martinez beat Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara. After the match, Martinez and Whitmer continue to attack Cheeseburger and Ferrara while Kevin Sullivan whispers something into Steve Corino's ear. Corino leaves commentary to confront Martinez and Whitmer.

During the break, BJ Whitmer dropped the Golden Spike, and Steve Corino picked it up. Corino considers using it on Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara, but decides against it.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) say they are broken after Ladder Wars, but they are still standing and they will continue to be the best tag team in the world. Nigel McGuinness congratulated them for their effort that night, and gave them the night off, but they love Ring of Honor and its fans to ever take a night off. Shelley says six men went into ladder, six men walked out broken and six men checked into Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts. He says that they are here because the fans deserve the best and that they will get it.

He talks about the time he was fifteen years old, when he was riding with his father and hero Dusty Rhodes and was about to tell him he wanted to be a professional wrestler. Dusty told him "Okay...but only if you're the best." Cody promises to become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Eddie Edwards shows up, and tells Cody that he and the crowd respect him, and now that Cody has re-invented himself, he is who he wants to be in TNA, and says the crowd respects him for being himself, too. He then asks Cody: "Do you truly know who you really are?" Cody says he knows, and that Eddie will know when he beats him for the World title tonight. Eddie says it's not when, but if, and he plans to prove his World title win was no fluke and that he is worthy of the title, and that if he has to beat Cody to prove he is worthy, so be it. Eli Drake says he didn't like Aron Rex when he first showed up, but respects him for what he's done with the Impact Grand Championship. EC3 shows up, ready to pounce on Eli Drake, and Eli Drake cuts to a commercial break.

After the break, Ethan Carter III says he will destory the Fact of Life set if given the chance. Eli Drake is ticked off, and Ethan Carter III challenges him to a fight. If he doesn't he'll fight him. He dares him to press the "Dummy Button" again. He presses the dummy button, and EC3 and Eli Drake fight each other until security separates both men.

The Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) say that The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax) will fade away and classify themsleves as obsolete. Matt views The Tribunal's actions as taking food off their children's plates, and sentences them to deletion.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax).

The DCC are back..and now they're in the ring. Three masked men attack The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax) as The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) watch. They then point at the Hardys.

Laurel Van Ness decides to push the psychological torture further and says "People like them should be serving people like us." Maria tells Allie to say that she is to blame, but Allie tells Marie that she is to blame for her own troubles, not her. Maria says that Allie should be taught a lesson, and Laurel Van Ness attacks her from behind. Maria then tells Allie that she had better become a fighter, as she will face Laurel Van Ness in a wrestling match next week.

Lashley confronts Eddie Edwards backstage. He tells Eddie this all ends tonight. Eddie dares Lashley to bet against him, as he beat him for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and that he is not afraid of him. Lashley says everybody should be afraid of him.

Nakamura easily folds him as Samoa Joe shows up and stares Nakamura down from the entrance ramp to end the show.

Total Bellas Island - Total Bellas recap for October 19, 2016

Bryan thinks the fish in the aquarium are unhappy. Kathy compares Bryan to Danny DeVito.

Josie swims in the pool with the assistance of a pool. Brie is worried about her retirement, with her last match being at WrestleMania. She wants to go out big, but is sad that Bryan won't be on the road with her.

Nikki finds out that John Cena is taking part in a lot of guest appearances, and that Nikki will be with him in some of them. Bryan has no idea if he'll be doing anything at WrestleMania.

Brie leaves to head to WrestleMania and take part in her last match.

Nikki and Bryan watch Brie take on Summer Rae on TV. Nikki wants Brie's last month in WWE to be great, but is sad that she won't be by her side in that time. Bryan says she misses Brie, but not as much as he missed Phoenix.

At morning coffee, we find out that J.J. has joined mother Kathy's firm, JBN, which is an executive search firm. Everyone talks about Brie's match on Raw, and while Bryan doesn't know what to do after wrestling, Nikki and Johnny agree that Bryan would make a great coach. Nikki mentions her back-up plan of getting a real estate license, then brings up the idea of taking Bryan to the Performance Center. Kathy says that Nikki is worried about Bryan, and wants to help him find that next step.

J.J., Nikki and Bryan are heading to the Performance Center when they get a call from Brie. It becomes obvious that Brie and Bryan really miss each other. We also learn that the tension between J.J. and Kathy from J.J.'s being Kathy's personal assistant more than a recruiter has intensified due to all the stuff he has to do.

At the Performance Center, Bryan meets the guys currently in NXT. J.J. likes what he sees. Sami Zayn and Nikki talk about Nikki's neck injury, and Nikki says she can't do the Rack Attack ever again. Daniel Bryan talks to Sami Zayn about how he would protect his neck in the ring if he were to ever get in the ring again, and Nikki can see the passion in Bryan as he does so. Sami Zayn says it looks primal and a good way to take on Brock Lesnar. Bryan likes to talk about his ideas on what to do about wrestling, but it still doesn't change the fact that he can't do it anymore and it depresses him.

On the way back home, Bryan still has to grieve through the fact that he can't wrestle anymore.

John Cena and J.J. have the evening fire indoors as Cena has a date. J.J. mentions his work problems to Cena, and brings up trying to get into NXT. Nikki, Bryan and Kathy show up, and the trip to the Performance Center is brought up. Cena says that Bryan has a really good mind that should continue to be involved in wrestling somehow, and that he needs to find a way to instill that knowledge. Nikki brings up the idea of hosting a show, but Bryan feels like he's being interrogated as he is driven by personal satisfaction above all else.

Kathy asks J.J. to do him a favor...and J.J. finally gets ticked off with Kathy.

Nikki has Bryan drive her to a tea shop. Nikki and Bryan enjoy it, and Bryan mentions the fact that he can't find time to be with Brie, but that he is happy that Brie will be off the road soon and that they will.

Brie finally returns home. She just wants to spend time with Bryan, even though she's pulled towards other people. Brie thinks that Bryan is not in a good place as he can't find out what to do now that he can't wrestle anymore.

Brie, Johnny and J.J. hit some golf balls. J.J. mentions that he wants to wrestle in WWE, and a change of pace from JBN. Nikki mentions that J.J. has trained him to replace her in JBN, but J.J. says that's not really is dream. Johnny tells J.J. there's a lot to wrestling, but J.J> doesn't seem to care.

Brie mentions to Nikki that J.J. doesn't want to be part of JBN anymore, and that he wants to get into wrestling. They agree that J.J. needs to talk to mother Kathy, as he continues to be unhappy and can't find a job that seems to make him happy.

Brie and Nikki head to a spa. We learn that Bryan has been battling depression for some time, and while she's been able to deal with it, Brie feels Bryan's depression can't be hide anymore, and tells Nikki. Nikki is surprised.

Everyone heads to a restaurant to dine out. It is revealed that J.J. wants to leave JBN, and as Kathy and J.J. go back and forth, Cena mentions that J.J. is taking inventory of his life and trying to figure out what makes him happy.

Brie asks Kathy to join her and J.J. so J.J. and Kathy can talk out their differences. J.J. says he wants to take on more responsibility and doesn't want to feel like he's working for his mom and doesn't want to feel like a punching bag.

At dinner, Kathy admits she was too demanding and asking too many favors of J.J., and says she can't do it without it. She raises a toast to 20% of JBN. J.J. is happy as Kathy made it aware that he is ready for the next level.

Brie and Bryan swim with some manatees as part of a trip Brie has planned to get Bryan into a happy place. Bryan is afraid that if he were to go back to wrestling, he wouldn't have much of a goal to shoot for, and he feels that his mind is already wasting away. Brie really thinks that Bryan needs therapy to combat his depression.

During the pre-show, Lita announces that Curt Hawkins has promised to have his first match tonight. Hawkins shows up to make a Curt Hawkins fact, then leaves. Also, Jack Swagger takes on Baron Corbin, and AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against James Ellsworth. Lita shows off the new James Ellsworth T-shirt.

James Ellsworth sees his own T-shirt...and meets Dean Ambrose, who wishes him luck tonight.

Randy Orton shows up to start tonight's show. Orton gives credit where credit is due, and says that Bray Wyatt may have wrecked his sanity, he is now free and is coming after him. We see people in balck sheep masks near a coffin on the TitanTron, and Bray is inside. He tells Orton he's coming after him, that he will take him on a journey that will leave him gasping for air and that he's having fun with this. He then tells Orton "He's here." Luke Harper then shows up, and that starts a match.

Randy Orton and Luke Harper are wrestling when Bray Wyatt is brought out in a coffin by men clad in black with black sheep masks.

Randy Orton beats Luke Harper by disqualification after Bray Wyatt interferes. Wyatt and Harper attack Orton, and Wyatt is about to place Orton in the casket when he finds out Kane is inside. Kane and Orton fight off Harper and Wyatt until the latter team suddenly disappears.

AJ Styles is infuriated that he is defending the WWE World title against James Ellsworth, and likens the possible upset win to David Arquette becoming WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He thinks that Dean Ambrose will be the direct cause of such an upset, and says he will find him and tear him apart.

Alexa Bliss beats Naomi. Renee Young interviews Alexa after the match, and Alexa says that in three weeks, the fairy tale is over. She says a new champion will be crowned, and it will be the fairest of them all: her.

Curt Hawkins is about to face Apollo Crews when he tells Crews he will have to change his name to "Apollo Lose" after tonight. This leads to Crews punching him in the face, and Curt Hawkins then says that Crews just ruined his big debut and deprived the people of seeing him live. He then leaves.

Carmella shows up. Two months ago, she had her very first pay-per-view match, and says that it was spoiled by the return of Nikki Bella. Nikki shows up before Carmella can say much else, and tells Carmella to say whatever she has to say to her face. She says that Nikki is stealing her spotlight again, and that she only gets away with it because John Cena is her boyfriend. Nikki compares her to the Internet bullies she sees constantly as Carmella calls her a "gold digger." We then see footage from Total Divas and Total Bellas, trying to make Nikki look like a super-clingy person. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Nikki is not impressed, and Nikki tells her she wears the pants in her relationship and that she doesn't need Cena to fight her battles, and that she's not scared of anybody...not even Carmella. Carmella then says Nikki used her looks to get her foot in the door, her sister to get in the ring and Cena to become a celebrity, then walks off.

Renee Young interviews James Ellsworth. No matter what, his life will be changed forever.

The Miz and The Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey) beat Heath Slater, Rhyno and Dolph Ziggler.

Daniel Bryan is taking care of business when Natalya shows up. She wants to enter the 5-on-5 Divas Survivor Series Match, and quotes Whitney Houston for her reasons why she wants to be in it by saying she wants to show the Divas the way, among other things. She then shows Daniel Bryan cat pictures.

Baron Corbin beats Jack Swagger.

As Natalya continues to show Daniel Bryan cat pictures, Dean Ambrose is dressed - and ready - to referee again. Daniel Bryan tells him he can't be referee tonight.

Dean Ambrose shows up before the next match to become guest...everything. He not only plays special guest ring announcer and special guest timekeeper, but also special guest AJ Styles annoyer.

James Ellsworth beats AJ Styles by disqualification after AJ Styles refuses to let Ellsworth out of the corner out of anger. AJ Styles retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and receives a Dirty Deeds from Dean Ambrose after the match.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) appear on Talking Smack. We are introduced to them and we even see the new "Stay Hyped!" hat.

AJ Styles confronts Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack, saying Daniel had an opportunity to make it right and he blew it. He calls Daniel Bryan "one of those corrupt authorities" and wants a match against Dean Ambrose. Daniel Bryan gives him the match and says that if Dean Ambrose wins, he gets a shot at the World title. AJ is fine with that, saying he's beaten Dean three times and that the fourth time won't be any different.

Baron Corbin shows up on Talking Smack. Corbin says he's here to make money, and that he's in it for himself. He doesn't seem to see the point in having friends in WWE, and he says that he was pretty much the same way when he played football. He goes on to say that he doesn't really care about the fans, and that he doesn't care if other people are more successful than him. He then wants to know what Daniel Bryan has for him next after he beat Jack Swagger in two minutes.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
