Mr. Iguana and La Parka beat Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero and Sanson), Money Machine (Colmillo de Plata and Garra de Oro) and Tokyo Bad Boys (Nobu and Takuma) in a four-way tag team match. After the match, War Machine (Ivar and Erik) show up and lay out the other three teams after Mr. Iguana and La Parka head to the back.
In footage from last week, Dorian Roldan tries to get a hold of Marisela Pena but cannot get an answer. When he knocks on the door to her office, Texano Jr. - wearing a suit and tie - opens the door from the other end and tells Roldan to relax and that he is in a meeting to determine whether he will be General Manager. Roldan says he will be the new General Manager because AAA is his family and company and because he can do it so much better than he can. Texano Jr. agrees, and tells him that if he wants to do something, he has to make sure everything is quiet.
In backstage footage from two weeks ago, Rey Fenix meets with Laredo Kid, who accuses Fenix of being jealous of his championship as well as his brother Penta, who is also a champion. Fenix says that nobody is more proud of Penta than he is, then reminds Laredo Kid that he held the AAA Cruiserweight Championship and that nobody took it from him. Fenix wants a shot at the title, but Laredo Kid tells Fenix that he only got lucky tonight and that his luck will run out.
Galena beats Chris Carter and Dragon in a two-on-one handicap match. During the match, Omos shows up to watch from the stage.
In backstage footage from last week, Bayley and Lola Vice congratulate La Catalina on her AAA debut. La Catalina says they must face Las Toxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra, La Maravilla) at Noches de los Grandes on May 30th. Lola and Bayley agree.
In footage from last week, Dorian Roldan finds out that Cibernetico is also applying for the General Manager position. Dorian insists that he is already the General Manager, but Cibernetico is convinced there will be new management.
The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Aerostar and El Fiscal by submission with an ankle lock from Julius Creed to Aerostar. The Creed Brothers continue to attack Aerostar after the match and take out El Fiscal in the process, then Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) rush into the ring and beat up The Creed Brothers. El Grande Americano I shows up and gangs up on Bravo Americano with the help of the Creeds, who then attempt to unmask Bravo. El Grande Americano II shows up, and both Americanos confront each other. Rayo Americano attacks El Grande Americano I, then Los Americanos (El Grande Americano II, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano) fight off El Grande Americano I and the Creed Brothers and force them out of the ring. El Grande Americano II tells El Grande Americano I that their mask will not only be for a mask, but for the pride of Mexico, for Pimpinella Escarleta, for Ojitos de Huevo and for Andrea Bazarte, for the history and the culture, and for our legacy, and he will bury El Grande Americano I and his mask for there will be only one El Grande Americano.
Lince Dorado beats Aerostar and Joaquin Wilde in a Triple Threat Match after Lince counters a top rope hurricanrana into a Sunset Flip for the pin and the win.
Backstage, The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) attack Murder Clown until Psycho Clown and Pagano come to his aid.
In footage from earlier today, Dorian Roldan tells his mother, AAA President Marisela Pena, that they are losing out on opportunities and that they had the most important moment of AAA in their hands with El Hijo del Vikingo entering WrestleMania as Intercontinental Champion until it did not happen thanks to Mini Vikingo. He says that AAA left a lot of money on the table without WrestleMania exposure, and says that things have been chaotic as there has been no leadership or clear vision. Roldan wants to be named as an associate in the family business as well as General Manager of AAA, as he has the vision, education and the leadership to take AAA to the next level. Marisela Pena says that it has been a tough year and that Dorian Roldan has had to make some difficult choices, ans tells him to give her a week to think about it.
Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice retain the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships against Dinamico and La Hiedra.
We see Mexican wrestling influencers' reactions to what happened between El Grande Americano I and El Grande Americano II last week.
Backstage, we hear from El Grande Americano II. He says that his words from Rey de Reyes came from the heart and were not out of obligation, then tells the person he is talking to that he is a two-time Mega Champion who has also won the Rey de Reyes Tournament. We then find out that he is talking to Texano Jr., who says that El Grande Americano II has a point, but his accolades are fleeting and lost to time and the love of the fans is forever. El Grande Americano II admits he was not here when the legends started it, but now, it is his responsibility to defend it, and it would be an honor to team with Texano Jr. to defend what Texano Jr. and the legends have built. Texano Jr. says he sees how the fans love El Grande Americano II, and he respects that, as it is not easy to get respect in Mexico. He also states that accepting a mask vs. mask match is a Mexican tradition and is also worthy of respect. Texano Jr. says it is time they team up. El Grande Americano II says they will do this for AAA and for Mexico.
Ivar beats Psycho Clown. During the match, Psycho Clown inadvertently drop kicks Ivar into the referee, sandwiching the referee in the corner. Psycho Clown then hits the Psycho Driver on Ivar, but the referee is down. Erik shows up, and he and Ivar overpower Psycho Clown before Erik revives the referee so that Ivar can get the pin and the win. After the match, Pagano shows up too late to save Psycho Clown as The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) leave the ring, then Pagano and Psycho Clown head to the back, with Psycho Clown getting angry with Pagano. Backstage, both men start shoving each other, and Pagano tells Psycho Clown to be careful of what he is accusing him of. Both men walk away from each other, then Psycho Clown finds Murder Clown laid out on the floor. He then finds a black bandana with a bunch of skulls on it, and comes to the conclusion that Pagano is responsible.
El Ojo (Dorian Roldan and Omos) head to the ring. Roldan tells the fans that they do not understand that this is a new era in AAA, and that he comes from the best family of wrestling promoters. He says that over thirty years ago, his uncle created this company, and that he has taken AAA to where it is at now. Roldan says that it is thanks to him that AAA has some of the best wrestlers in the world for many years. He says that money can buy anything, and that he has the best wrestler right now, El Hijo del Vikingo. Vikingo shows up and heads to the ring, and says that whether anyone likes it or not, he is #1 contender for the AAA Mega Champion. He calls El Grande Americano a false idol and proclaims that he squashed him like a cockroach before asking the fans why they support "a false Mexican" and insulting their intelligence for doing it. Vikingo says he wanted to represent AAA, but the fans turned their backs on him, and in response, he will turn his back on all of them. He states that at Rey de Reyes, he thought he would see his people, but not anymore, and that he is going to win for himself. All of a sudden, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up on the TitanTron and congratulates El Hijo del Vikingo for his new family before admitting he has never seen so many cowards in one ring in his life. He then tells Vikingo that at Rey de Reyes, he will be in the main event in his hometown of Puebla thanks to him, and that the people in Puebla will butcher him when he is there. He says that it will be the last time Vikingo will be in the ring with him when he humiliates him and becomes the king of the luchadors.
We see the rules of the Rey de Reyes tournament.
TJ Perkins beats Chris Carter, Mini Vikingo and Elio LaFleur in a Fatal 4-Way to become #1 contender for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship after Perkins hits Carter with a Mamba Splash after pulling . After the match, El Ojo (Dorian Rolan, Omos, El Hijo del Vikingo) shows up, and TJ Perkins tosses Mini Vikingo into the ring where El Ojo is. Omos scoops Mini Vikingo up for a powerbomb, and El Hijo del Vikingo laughs before telling Mini Vikingo that nobody can help him now and that this will be the last time he will do his moves and use his name. Omos then powerbombs Mini Vikingo again.
We see a vignette for The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik), who will be coming to AAA in two weeks.
Lola Vice beats La Hiedra to become Mr. Iguana's tag team partner for the upcoming AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships match after La Hiedra is caught grabbing the trunks on a schoolkid pin. Mr. Iguana is the special guest referee for this match (and seems to count Lola Vice's pin faster than La Hiedra's tights-grabbing pinfall attempt just moments before). After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page and Chelsea Green find that they have little time to prepare for a Mr. Iguana-Lola Vice combination and move to "Plan B."
We hear from Santos Escobar. He talks about his history with Rey Mysterio and addresses how he answered El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.'s open challenge before stating that it is his destiny to beat him for the AAA Latin American Championship.
La Parka beats Aerostar, Jack Cartwheel and Apollo Crews in a Fatal 4-Way Rey de Reyes Tournament qualifier.
We hear from Samoa Joe, Penta el Zero Miedo and Alex Abrahantes, Roderick Strong and The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett), and Darby Allin at the start of the show.
Jon Moxley retains the AEW International Championship against Action Andretti in an open challenge after Andretti kicks Moxley's head in only for Moxley to reverse it into the rear naked choke.
We hear from Roderick Strong, who talks about his relationship with Adam Cole before saying that his caring for MJF as much as he has cared for him tears him apart. Roderick says that he is still there for Adam and that Adam is the one who had changed, letting him down time and time again. He says that Adam knows what being alone does to him, then says he will go on to win the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator and become the AEW World Championship before stating that he will not be happy because he just wants his friend back.
Kris Statlander retains the TBS Championship against Robyn Renegade. After the match, Charlette Renegade hits Kris Statlander with a chop block, then she and Robyn gang up on her until Jade Cargill makes her sudden return. Jade Cargill lays out both of The Renegades, then offers her hand and helps Kris Statlander up only to hit her with Jaded. Jade then kisses the TBS Championship while "Smart" Mark Sterling joins her in the ring.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Ruby Soho and Saraya. Ruby says she did not forget Toni Storm costing her championship gold, and Saraya says that Toni Storm is "not with it" and that she was using mayonnaise as a facial cleanser backstage. Saraya then announces she will make her "re-debut" as Grand Slam when she both walks in and out as AEW Women's World Champion.
We see a face-to-face interviews between Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston. Eddie accuses Claudio of leaving the independents without doing business with him to go to "the land of make-believe." Claudio says sometimes the right choice is not the easy choice, but Eddie says Claudio knew better. Eddie Kingston challenges Claudio Castagnoli to a match at Grand Slam with the New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Championship on the line. Claudio Castagnoli accepts on the condition that Eddie shakes his hand and tells him he respect him, then says that Eddie will never be the better man even if he were to lose to him.
Bullet Club Gold ("Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) beat Dios del Inframundo, Aerostar and Gravity in a trios match. ("Switchblade" Jay White and Metalik are not in the match, despite being scheduled for it the previous night.) During the match, Andrade el Idolo is seen watching from backstage.
We hear from Miro's wife, who says that she was the first casualty on the righteous road and that when Miro won the TNT Championship, he lost himself. She says she wanted to prove she had his back, but Miro was stubborn and has truly forsaken everything. She says that if Miro will go down this path, she will go down hers. She says she sat on the sidelines for two years tearing herself down, breaking herself apart and asking if she had what it took, and every fiber of her being was screaming not to leave until she found out. She says she was the coldest manager in all of wrestling and that she wants to do it again.
We hear from The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver), who want people to support them.
We then hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn), where "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn talks about their world tour with the AEW World Trios Championships, with Bowens announcing New York City as their next stop.
Rey Fenix beats Angelico.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Wheeler runs down the matches they have had through this year, then asks who will be the next to step up. Harwood says they need to be in the main event, but in order to stay the best, they need more contenders, and announces the FTR World Tag Team Challenge, where any young tag team can step up and take them on for the tag titles.
Before the next match, Darby Allin is attacked by Luchasaurus, and Christian Cage tels Darby Allin that he will never be a champion again for as long as he in AEW. Luchasaurus then throws Darby into a metal door, but despite the attack backstage, Darby Allin makes his way to the ring with Nick Wayne at his side.
Roderick Strong beats Darby Allin to advance to the finals of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament. During the match, AR Fox shows up, much to the chagrin of Nick Wayne, and when The Kingdom fight them on the outside, AR Fox inadvertently takes out Nick Wayne with a somersault when Matt Taven pushes Nick Wayne into AR Fox's path. After the match, Nick Wayne gets upset with AR Fox as he checks on Darby Allin.
We hear from Powerhouse Hobbs, who says that every man has his limit and that he took Miro to his limit. He says he proved he prayed to no man as he looks to The Book of Hobbs for guidance, and everyone saw who the real winner was. He says the next chapter of his book is still unwritten, and that everyone will fall to The Book of Hobbs.
Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Limitless" Keith Lee. Keith Lee says there are certain individuals avoiding him, and now that he is here, he is "The Collision," and he advises everyone to run.
We hear from The Righteous (Vincent, Dutch, Stu Grayson). Vincent says all have the power in their hands, but most are afraid to use it except for them. Vincent says that everything they do is new, and tells anyone who has a problem to either step up or get off their road.
Tony Schiavone interviews "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in the ring. When asked what is next for him, Danielson says he told his daughter that once she turned seven, she would start finishing up his career, and right now, she is six. He says that he keeps his promises, especially to the people he loves, and time is running out. Danielson then says he will not go gently into that good night, and anyone who thinks he will does not know who he is, for he is Odysseus heading home from the Trojan War ready to fight the Cyclops. He says that if this is his last year, this will be the most epic year of his career. He says that if this is his last year, this will be the most epic year of his career. He says he is calling his shots, and his next shot is against Zack Sabre Jr. at WrestleDream. Suddenly, "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Big Bill show up, and Starks says it is fitting that Danielson is on the show while is in catering, then says he had to whip Ricky Steamboat to get attention and that he has everyone on notice. He says that he has cemented himself as "the face of Collision" and the one who will do things that Danielson has never done in his career, and after he was beaten, he realized he graduated from "being hungry" to "being greedy." He says he will take and take and take because it is in his nature and it is what he does, then Danielson says he wishes Starks was a little more patient, because he was not done yet. Danielson says he saw what was in Starks' heart on that night and that he approves of that, and says that if anyone wants to be in The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson), they have to bleed with them. Danielson is suddenly attacked by Big Bill, and Starks has to tear Big Bill off of him before Starks gets a piece of Danielson himself. Suddenly, Jon Moxley shows up and gets Big Bill in a sleeper only to be swung off and booted in the face. Starks then chokes Danielson into unconsciousness with his own shirt, and Starks then mocks Danielson before he and Big Bill leave the ring.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Big Bill. Big Bill brags about how he just beat up Jon Moxley, and proclaims that at Dynamite, he will beat him again and become AEW International Champion. The Lucha Bros. shows up and Rey Fenix says Moxley is his, but Big Bill tells Fenix to worry about Penta, as he is about to get beaten by Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe beats Penta el Zero Miedo with the Coaquina Clutch to advance to the finals of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.
At the beginning of the show, it is announced that Jon Moxley has went to rehab and that AEW supports Moxley in his recovery.
Kenny Omega beats Alan "5" Angels following multiple V-Triggers. After the match, Kenny Omega thanks Alan Angels for ruining his career while giving himself an opportunity, then says as the god of professional wrestling, he can "giveth and taketh away" before telling MT Nakazawa to give him a chair. As Omega is about to hit Angels with a One-Winged Angel on the chair, Adam Page shows up, levels MT Nakazawa with a clothesline and sends Omega retreating after Angels takes the chair away from Omega. As Omega retreats, he leaves the AEW World Championship, then Page tells Omega he forgot something before letting him take the title, telling him to hold on to it tightly and that he has ten days.
We hear from Malachi Black, who says that the people with power think that their decisions affect more than their own interests. He says Tony Khan barring him from ringside will have no significance on tonight's main event. He says that when Julius Caesar was assassinated, it was not just Marcus who betrayed him.
CM Punk heads to the ring. As the crowd chants "CM Punk," Punk says that is not the name he needs to hear right now, as there are two people who are not here today and one of them has a legitimate reason for that, and that name is Jon Moxley. The crowd chants for Jon Moxley, and Punk says he can sit in the ring all night long for people to chant for Moxley. He admits that he and Moxley may not be the best of friends, and says that he knows where it is like to take himself off the hamster wheel after helping others. Punk says that he is proud of Moxley, and he says that if anyone is in a place where they think they need help, they should reach out, as there is nothing harder and more courageous than asking for help, saying there are times he wishes he did. This then brings up the other name who is not here tonight: Eddie Kingston. He says that he was embarrassed for Kingston last week and he does not know what is happening, and says that while he would fight him over a grudge he does not know about, he is not here. He says that if Eddie has the balls, he has the time, and Eddie can see him in St. Louis, Missouri to apologize for interrupting him. CM Punk says that while he considered entering the World Title Eliminator, Kingston is to blame for it not happening. Punk says he will soon find out what kind of man Eddie Kingston is.
We hear from Miro, who says that he cursed and threatened his god and that he is now in the World Title Eliminator. He wants to know if his god is rewarding him or forsaking him, and says that his god will be forgiven when he is loved, forgiven and a champion once again.
Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews The Superkliq (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Adam Cole). Adam Cole says that The Dark Order's win last week was a fluke and that The Superkliq will prove how deadly they can be. As Nick Jackson says The Superkliq is afraid of no one, Christian Cage shows up, and Luchasaurus joins him soon after. Chrisian and Luchasaurus fight The Superkliq following a cheap shot, but the numbers game takes over at the stage area. Suddenly, Jungle Boy wipes out The Superkliq with a Swanton Bomb off the stage, but Matt Jackson hits him with a cheap shot in the throat and goes up onto the stage only to be Speared by Christian Cage. Christian Cage goes for a Killswitch on a steel platform near the stage, but gets superkicked by Nick Jackson. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus soon strike back against The Superkliq, with Nick Jackson getting choke slammed into Adam Cole's back. Jungle Boy then puts Adam Cole in the Snare Trap, but Adam Cole is out. Christian Cage then brings out two chairs hits Adam Cole with a Con-Chair-To.
We see a video package for Kris Statlander vs. Ruby Soho in the TBS Championship Tournament.
FTR retain the AAA Tag Team Championships against Samuray del Sol (formerly Kalisto from WWE) and Aerostar after Cash Wheeler reverses a roll-up from Aerostar into one of his own and grabs the middle rope for leverage.
Backstage, as Hikaru Shida is congratulated for earning her 50th win in AEW, Nyla Rose and Vicki Guerrero show up. Nyla Rose tells Shida to enjoy her milestone, as she is about to hit a roadblock in the TBS Championship Tournament.
The Inner Circle head to the ring. Jericho commends Sammy Guevara for winning against "All Ego" Ethan Page last week, then American Top Team and The Men of the Year show up. Dan Lambert tells Jericho to put some respect on his name after calling him "a dipshit" again, and says he has a collection of killers to pick from for the Minneapolis Street Fight and an open contract, which is taken to the ring by referee Aubrey Edwards. The Inner Circle pick Junior dos Santos, with Hager saying they will drop dos Santos faster than his last fight. Santana also calls out Andre Arlovski. Before the third pick is chosen, Paige VanZant says her schedule is wide open and tells Chris Jericho that there is no Instagram filter than can hide the beating she can give her and that The Inner Circle does not have the balls to take her on. Paige VanZant also says she can take The Inner Circle by herself. Jericho says that is a joke that writes itself and that VanZant should put that on her OnlyFans page. Ortiz then calls VanZant a bitch in Spanish before Jericho picks Dan Lambert for the third pick. Lambert wants none of this, but Jericho starts a "fat-faced dipshit" chant as Lambert says he said it was only fighters and not any member of American Top Team.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Matt Sydal, Lee Moriarty, Dante Martin and Lio Rush. Sydal congratulates Dante, saying everything he expected out of him came out in their match, then says he and Moriarty are willing to have a tag team match with him and Lio Rush. Lio Rush accepts the challenge, and tells Sydal he will be on the highest flight.
Jamie Hayter beats Anna Jay to advance in the TBS Championship Tournamnent after Rebel distracts the referee so that Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. can interfere. After the match, Britt, Rebel and Hayter attack Anna Jay, but Tay Conti runs into the ring and makes the save. When Tay Contin pounds on Britt, however, the numbers game takes over. Suddenly, Thunder Rosa runs into the ring and evens the numbers game.
Backstage, we hear from "Smart" Mark Sterling and Jade Cargill. He says that they will be watching the last first-round match in the TBS Championship Tournament, saying that whoever wins will meet their demise at the hands of Cargill.
MJF heads to the ring. He tells Darby Allin to "cut the crap," saying that without the two of them, "this company doesn't work." He says they have been top guys for a while, unlike the other two pillars, because they have "it" and the fans know who they are and who they will become: legendary. MJF then wants to know why he is booed while Darby is cheered, then realizes that people hate them because he reminds them they are not successful while Darby is like the fans but knows he cannot function in society. He says that Darby is just like the fans and while never wins, and while he may feel cool now, he is a loser when he gets in the ring. MJF says Darby will lose to him at Full Gear because he is weak and too concerned with battering him instead of beating him. MJF then says that even if Allin can change his ways in ten days, he is still the better wrestler, and says he has not been beaten because he is so good that he can beat Allin with a headlock takeover. Allin, who is sitting in the rafters, admits that he may be an outcast, then says he will maintain his composure and have a wrestling match. MJF leaves before Allin can leave the ring, but his path is blocked by Sting and some men in black with paper masks. Suddenly, Shawn Spears attacks with a chair, and Sting and the men in black are all attacked by The Pinnacle. This does not stop Darby and MJF from brawling in the crowd. Darby eventually sends MJF over the barricade back to ringside with a running clothesline, but MJF retreats and runs away through the crowd.
Andrade el Idolo beats "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes after FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) come out from underneath the ring and hit Cody with the AAA Tag Team Championships as Cody Rhodes goes for a tope suicida while Arn Anderson beats up Jose. After the match, Tully Blanchard shows up. FTR hold Cody up so Andrade can boot Cody in the face. FTR then proceed to beat up Cody, then Arn confronts Tully. The Lucha Bros. (Penta el Zero Mideo and Rey Fenix) then show up and brawl with FTR, and FTR is forced to retreat.
Tony Schiavone interviews John "4" Silver in the ring. Silver tells Adam Cole to cut his hair, become his manager and change his name to "BUDGE." says it will not just be him versus Adam Cole, but it will be Adam Cole vs. "BUDGE." He says that Adam Cole has yet to take his advice, and that has earned him a Con-Chair-To from Christian Cage. He says that on Rampage, he will kick Adam Cole's ass.
We see a video package for The Bunny vs. Red Velvet in the TBS Championship Tournament.
Bryan Danielson guests on commentary for the next match, and Matt Hardy is seen watching from the crowd.
Miro beats Orange Cassidy with Game Over to advance in the World Title Eliminator Tournament. (Miro replaces Jon Moxley, who is in rehab for problems with alcohol.) After the match, Bryan Danielson gets in the ring and tries to shake hands with Miro, but Miro leaves the ring.

Don Callis interviews Ace Austin on the set of Austin's first feature film. Austin says his phone hasn't stopped buzzing since he won the X Division Championship. After Austin chats with a female co-star, Austin says he is not nervous and that superstardom is his game. Austin then leaves when he is needed on set, and another female co-star shows up thinking Don Callis is Dino Velvet.

We hear from The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). Alexander says all eyes will be on them, and Page says they will throw the company a bone when they give the fans the best in the entire company. Alexander then says that they will be issuing an open challenge on Impact's AXS TV debut to any tag team in the back.
We hear from Ken Shamrock after his match at Bound For Glory, saying that he doesn't know what will happen from here.
Moose is interviewed via satellite, and he is seen celebrating with a few people. He says he does not feel any sympathy for Ken Shamrock, saying he did to Shamrock what he promised he would do and telling Shamrock to go back to the retirement home. He then says he will be on Impact's AXS TV debut, and that he will prove why he is a legend.
Melissa Santos interviews Taya Valkyrie. Taya Valkyrie brags about her 2019, then we see her match against Tenille Dashwood from Bound For Glory. Afterwards, Taya says she feels amazing and says she will go down as the greatest Knockouts of all time. She mentions that her first match ever was against Tenille Dashwood and that Bound For Glory was full circle. After stating that nothing could prepare Tenille for her at Bound For Glory, Impact on AXS TV is next for her. She then brags that she has changed people's lives since she became Knockouts Champion. When Melissa asks Taya how she knows, Taya says she has ears on the ground. We then see footage of John E. Bravo interviewing people in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada about how their lives have changed since Taya became champion. The footage is less than flattering, and Taya runs out asking how John E. Bravo could screw everything up.
It is announced that The North's ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) open challenge has been accepted and answered, as Naomichi Marufuji will face "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander next week on AXS TV.
Josh Mathews and Scott D'Amore interview "The Machine" Brian Cage. Cage admits his World title reign may not have gone as well as he had wanted, but he is still World Champion. After his successful title defense against Sami Callihan at Bound For Glory is replayed, Cage says Bound For Glory was the feel-good moment he and the fans needed, and he is looking forward to his next challenge. As Cage is about to talk about what is next, Sami Callihan barges in and demands a rematch for the World Championship next week. When he brings up Cage's daughter, Cage grabs him, and Sami reveals that oVe knows where he lives. Callihan then shows Cage footage of the rest of oVe near Cage's home, then dares Cage to break his neck so that nobody can call them off. Cage lets him go, then Callihan gives him a choice between saving his daughter and breaking his neck. Cage gives Callihan his World title rematch in order to call oVe off, then warns Callihan that he will tear him limb from limb.
Sami Callihan vs. "The Machine" Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship is official for next week, and it will be a steel cage match.
Josh Mathews and Scott D'Amore interview D'Lo Brown. D'Lo states that if Cage allows Sami Callihan to get into his head, Callihan will become World Champion. He states that Cage must maintain his focus and composure in order to stay World Champion.

Johnny Mundo is seen practicing his moves on the rooftop of the temple. Suddenly, a bright light appears, and Aerostar appears. He tells Mundo that no amount of training will prepare him for "The Monster" Matanza Cueto. He tells him that if he faces him alone, it will be his funeral, and he will be another sacrifice to the gods without his help. Mundo says he does not need his help given his performance tonight, but Aerostar calls for Drago, reminding Mundo that he saved his oldest friend and that he wants to repay the favor. In Drago's hands is the Gauntlet of the Gods, which Mundo reluctantly puts on only to find out that he feels like a god. Drago asks Aerostar if this is a good idea, but Aerostar tells him only time will tell.
Antonio Cueto is in his office placing the Aztec medallions on the Gift of the Gods Championship when "The Savage" Jake Strong shows up, wanting to know why Antonio called him in. Antonio tells Strong that he has been more dominant that he has ever imagined, and at Ultima Lucha Cuatro, he has no reason not to put him in the main event, but Strong says he wants to win the Lucha Underground Championship without Antonio handing it to him on a silver platter. Antonio Cueto offers an opportunity for one of the Aztec medallions of the Gift of the Gods Championship. Strong tells Antonio he has seen the sacrifices he has fed to his son "The Monster" Matanza Cueto, and that Antonio had better save some for him. He also tells Antonio this is not his temple anymore; instead, it is his. As he says it is his, his voice sounds a little more demonic than usual.
Antonio Cueto announces that there must be a new Gift of the Gods Champion now that Ultima Lucha Cuatro is in two weeks, and that he has awarded the medallions to seven people who have proved deserving of them: Aerostar, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Hernandez, Big Bad Steve, King Cuerno, "The Savage" Jake Strong...and Dante Fox, who has not been seen in months. He then announces that only six will fight to decide who will become the next Gift of the Gods Champion, and therefore, there will be an over-the-top-rope battle royal between all seven men, with the winner removing one of the other six men from the championship match.
"The Savage" Jake Strong eliminates Aerostar, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Hernandez, Big Bad Steve, King Cuerno and Dante Fox in an over-the-top-rope battle royal. After the match, Strong eliminates nobody from the match, saying he wants all seven men in the match so he can destroy all of them. Antonio Cueto announces that next week's match for the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Championship will be a Seven To Survive Elimination Match, but Strong asks Antonio if that is all he's got before boasting that he will snap anyone Antonio throws at him in half. Antonio says he has just the guy, and tonight, Strong will face Johnny Mundo one-on-one.
Son of Havoc is seen in the balcony, watching the next match.
The Mack beats Killshot by disqualification after he is suddenly attacked by Mil Muertes. After the match, Son of Havoc gets in the match and brawls with Killshot, but is choke slammed by Mil Muertes, who lays out The Mack soon after.
Matt Striker interviews Ivelisse and XO Lishus in the ring. Ivelisse says she, Joey Ryan and XO Lishus have been invited to a three-way elimination match for the Lucha Underground Trios Championships against The Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Daga, Jeremiah Snake) and The Rabbit Clan (Paul London, El Bunny, The White Rabbit) at Ultima Lucha Cuatro, but unfortunately, Joey Ryan will not be good to go on time. They have had to find a new partner, and they have found a "young badass" who has a future in Lucha Underground: Sammy Guevara, who has not been seen since "The Savage" Jake Strong injured his ankle. All of a sudden, Famous B shows up, reminding everyone that he brought him to the temple via a seven-year contract with Infamous Inc., and tells Sammy that Infamous Inc. owns him and that XO Lishus and Ivelisese will be receiving a cease-and-desist letter from his lawyer. He then tells Sammy Guevara that if he wants to go to Ultima Lucha Cuatro, then he can team up with Dr. Wagner Jr. and Texano and he will be more than happy to pull them out of their house show at Tijuana, Mexico. When Famous B tells Guevara to leave the ring, Guevara responds with a corkscrew tope con hilo before tossing his contract in a trash can, placing the can on Famous B's head and superkicking Famous B in the head.
"The Savage" Jake Strong beats Johnny Mundo with the ankle lock. After the match, Strong puts Johnny in the ankle lock again, then "The Monster" Matanza Cueto shows up. Strong lets go of the ankle lock, smiles at Matanza, then hands Johnny over to him. Matanza then proceeds to assault Johnny, then Taya shows up and gets on top of Matanza only to get thrown off and laid out with Wrath of the Gods. Matanza then proceeds to attack Johnny again, and at this point, Johnny's forehead is busted open. Antonio Cueto comes out of his office to show his approval, then Antonio leaves with Matanza to end the show.
Matt Striker reads a letter from Antonio Cueto on the air at the start of the show. The letter states that last week, four men had a dream of making it to the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro, but those dreams were crushed last week when Marty "The Moth" Martinez won both the Gift of the Gods and the Lucha Underground Championships. Many questions have been brought up because of this, and now all of the men impacted by Marty's actions - Pentagon Dark, Mil Muertes, King Cuerno and El Dragon Azteca Jr. - will do battle with one another in a Four-Way #1 Contender's Match where the winner will face Marty for the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro.
Before the next match, Jack Evans says everyone would want to see a match from "wrestling's one true god, Jack Evans," but he refuses to compete in an organization that allows "a dangerous and vile individual" like XO Lishus to fight freely. He is also worried about Johnny Mundo's wedding, saying that had he been there, he would have ripped "The Monster" Matanza Cueto's head off. He says that there will be no match as long as XO Lishus is around, and says he quits. Antonio Cueto, who has been watching, says nobody likes quitters, but at the same time, he is a compassionate boss who hears Evans' complaints. He makes it clear that Jack Evans will fight tonight, and if he wins, he can walk out the door. If he loses, however, he will never walk out of the temple ever again, as he has been chosen to become the next sacrifice to the gods. Jack Evans tries to run, but the doors are locked and Matanza Cueto comes out of them soon afterwards. Evans tries to run away from Matanza, but Antonio Cueto trips Jack Evans with his cane.
"The Monster" Matanza Cueto beats Jack Evans, who is then sacrificed after the match.
Before the next match, Paul London presents El Bunny as well as The White Rabbit to the temple. The three of them then watch the match from the stands.
The Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Daga, Jeremiah Snake) retain the Lucha Underground Trios Championships against Ivelisse, Joey Ryan and XO Lishus following an arm bar from Daga to Joey Ryan. After the match, Paul London and El Bunny walk down the stairs, and El Bunny fights XO Lishus and Joey Ryan. The White Rabbit gets a closer look as Paul London and El Bunny then double team Ivelisse before putting Ivelisse, Joey Ryan and XO Lishus in a triple headlock on the bottom rope.
"The Savage" Jake Strong beats Aerostar and Drago in a two-on-one Nunchaku Match with an ankle lock to Aerostar. After the match, Drago hits Strong with the nunchaku, but Strong gets Dragon into the ankle lock and breaks his ankle.

Pentagon Dark beats Mil Muertes, King Cuerno and El Dragon Azteca Jr. to become #1 contender to the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro. During the match, Fenix shows up, and ring announcer Melissa Santos has to get Fenix to snap out of what he is going through. This leads to a brawl between Azteca Jr. and Fenix that heads to the back. Later on, The Mack shows up for the first time since his Haunted House Match against Mil Muertes mover a month ago, hitting Mil Muertes with two Stone Cold Stunner and allowing Pentagon Dark to get the win. After the match, The Mck tells Mil Muertes that whil he will be fighting for the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro, he will be fighting him. He used to be afraid of Mil Muertes, but not anymore, and after the Haunted House Match, he is no longer afraid to die. At Ultima Lucha Cuatro, The Mack wants Mil Muertes in a deathmatch. He then tells Mil Muertes "Rest in peace, motherfucker," before leaving the ring and flipping Mil Muertes off with both hands to end the show.
oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) beat Laredo Kid, Aerostar and El Hijo del Vikingo.
Backstage, Rich Swann is met by "Reborn" Matt Sydal, who says he believes in him more than anyone else in the locker room or the business and wants to see him in the spotlight. He knows that Swann wants to face him in the ring, but he proposes they become a tag team against The Lucha Bros. (Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) and asks him to open his third eye. Swann admits that is a pretty good opportunity and match, but tells him not to screw things up. Sydal asks Swann to follow him, but Swann tells him to keep up.
Backstage, Sexy Star is met by Tessa Blanchard, who throws her suitcase at her and tells her to get out. All of a sudden, Tessa is confronted by Faby Apache, who tells Tessa that she will she will teach her respect and that she is not going to dishonor anyone. This causes Tessa Blanchard to promptly leave the locker room.
Eli Drake shows up. He says he seen trash walk in week after week only to be kicked in the keister, and now he is rolling into Mexico City, Mexico for a real challenge. Unfortunately, he has failed to find anyone interesting enough in the back, but the gravy train is ready to roll and he cannot stop it or the undeniable kevorka. He then issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to get their ticket punched on the gravy train, and the open challenge is answered by Trevor Lee, who shows up grabbing a referee and tossing him into the ring.

In footage from earlier today, King and Hernandez are playing a dice game when Homicide shows up, saying he does not like it where they are at in Mexico City, Mexico. King tells Homicide and Hernandez that they have to get The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) to break the ceasefire, stating they are weak and The OG'z (King, Hernandez and Homicide). He gives Homicide and Hernandez the night off, and he plans to show LAX what happens when he gets in the ring and brings "straight violence."
King beats Cronus after Homicide and Hernandez beat Cronus up before the bell rings and force the referee to start the match afterwards. After the match, King calls out The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz), telling Konnan that this is his night and to forget about the ceasefire. When Konnan fails to show up, King calls LAX a bunch of cowards.
Backstage in The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz)'s locker room, Santana says he is tired of The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez) trying to ruin their name, as is Ortiz. Konnan says he seen and been through it all, and that he will not break the ceasefire on the grounds that they will "disappear" after falling into a trap set by The OG'z. He tells Santana and Ortiz to break the ceasefire if they want, but he will wait until Bound or Glory to "kick King's uterus into the next millennium" in a Concrete Jungle Match. By doing this, he fires Santana and Ortiz up, and the ceasefire continues to be honored on LAX's end.
Faby Apache beats Alisha Edwards. After the match, Faby Apache says she has represented women's wrestling around the world, and she wants to face Tessa Blanchard due to Tessa's sense of entitlement and thinking she is "all that."
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews El Texano, who welcomes Austin Aries to Mexico City, Mexico. He knows that Austin Aries has two partners in Killer Kross and Moose, but he has two partners in his fist and his bullrope, and he will find that out as he rides off into the sunset as Impact Wrestling World Champion.
Backstage, "The Smoke Show" Scarlet Bordeaux announces that she has a huge announcement for next week.
The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) beat Rich Swann and "Reborn" Matt Sydal. After the amtch, oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) show up and surround the ring, but "The Machine" Brian Cage runs out and evens the numbers game, causing oVe to retreat.
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Austin Aries, who says he is taking on El Texano tonight because nobody is left after he, Killer Kross and Moose took out Eddie Edwards, Fallah Bahh and Johnny Mundo and Impact had to dig deep within the well. He says he is World Champion for a reason, and while El Texano is no joke, the World title is staying on his shoulders as he is the best in the world at what he does. Austin Aries and Killer Kross leaves while Moose, who is dressed in tie dye, takes a very awkward selfie with Mackenzie.
The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh) are getting massages backstage as they talk about their non-title match next week against The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz). Gama Singh shows up with a broom and hits them for getting massages before chewing them out and having them exercise and hit each other. After this, Gama Singh wishes the both of them good luck.
We see a music video by Joe Hendry, where he says that he is putting his friendship with Grado over his platonic relationship with Katarina.
The GWN Flashback Moment of the Week is the Ultimate X Match from Bound For Glory 2005 between Petey Williams, Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley.

Austin Aries retains the Impact Wrestling World Championship against El Texano. During the match, it is made official that King vs. Konnan at Bound For Glory will be a Concrete Jungle Death Match. After the match, Johnny Impact shows up on the video screen, saying there is no line that Austin Aries will not cross to keep the Impact World title, and mentions how Aries, Moose and Killer Kross wrapped a steel chair around his neck, held him against the ring post and tried to shatter his spine. He says he might not be medically cleared before Bound For Glory, but sooner or later, his neck will heal, and Aries might see him a little sooner than he thinks. Aries says that he knows Johnny Impact is not on location and that he is somewhere in the crowd. As he sends Killer Kross and Moose into the crowd to look for Johnny Impact, Johnny comes out from backstage and fights Aries, Moose and Kross. As Aries, Moose and Kross retreat, they are suddenly swatted at with a kendo stick by Eddie Edwards, who shows up from out of nowhere to get a modicum of revenge.

Fenix beats Aerostar, then continues assaulting Aerostar with a ground and pound after the match. Ring announcer Melissa Santos pleads with Fenix to stop, saying this is not him and that he should leave the ring and get some help to become the old him again. Fenxi slides out of the ring aggressively towards Melissa, and El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up, fearing Fenix will attack her. Instead, Fenix attacks El Dragon Azteca Jr. and hits him with the Black Fire Driver - the same near finishing move he used on Aerostar for this match - before leaving. Melissa calls for medical help, and the status of El Azteca Dragon Jr.'s Gift of the Gods title defense against Marty "The Moth" Martinez - which is up next - is up in the air.
After the commercial break, medical staff check on El Dragon Azteca Jr. Antonio Cueto shows up and says that this turn of events is most unfortunate, as El Dragon Azteca Jr. had made him a believer and he thought he would defend the Gift of the Gods title all the way to Ultima Lucha Cuatro; unfortunately, he is in no condition to wrestle and the Gift of the Gods title will be forfeited over to Marty "The Moth" Martinez. Ring announcer, who is not a big fan of Marty "The Moth" Martinez, especially after what he has done to her, is not happy about this news. El Dragon Azteca Jr. gets up and says he will fight upon hearing this, and Antonio Cueto, noting that he has the heart of a champion, announces that the match is back on.

The White Rabbit talks with Paul London, and tells him time is but a flat circle. Paul London says that Saltador and Mala Suerte failed the tribe and sacrificed them in a glorious display of undying loyalty to him. The White Rabbit simply yawns, unimpressed, and has an idea. He says that he and his caged friend, El Bunny, have been going stir-crazy in their underground lair, and that it is time for London to show them the way to the temple. London says yes, and The White Rabbit asks him to lead the way. The three of them teleport out of The White Rabbit's lair.
Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against King Cuerno and Mil Muertes in a three-way match. After the match, Marty "The Moth" Martinez rushes into the ring and blindsides Pentagon Dark, then looks upon the Lucha Underground Championship and picks it up. Marty hits Pentagon Dark with a title belt shot to the forehead, then hits a double underhook DDT - the same move he hit El Dragon Azteca Jr. with to win the Gift of the Gods title - before curb stomping Pentagon Dark. Antonio Cueto then shows up and mentions that his son Dario Cueto insisted that in order to use the Gift of the Gods, you had to give a week's notice; however, Marty made a convincing argument to him last week about why that is "a stupid rule." Therefore, in Antonio Cueto's temple, the Gift of the Gods can be exchanged for a Lucha Underground title shot any time the holder wants, and asks Marty if he wants to do this right now. Marty says yes, and Antonio makes the title match official.
Marty "The Moth" Martinez beats Pentagon Dark to become the Lucha Underground Champion! During the match, a woman in black crawls out from underneath the ring, gets into the ring and kicks Pentagon Dark in the groin before hitting a sunset powerbomb. This women, while not identified as such on commentary, is Chelsea Green (formerly known as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling), and she leaves the ring so that Martinez can hit the double underhook DDT to win the title. The crowd chants "Bullshit!" as the show comes to an end.
Backstage, ring announcer Melissa Santos is putting on her make-up when El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up and asks her how she is holding up. Melissa says she is doing great, but he asks her to be honest as he knows she misses Fenix. Melissa admits she misses Fenix, then El Dragon Azteca Jr. places the pendant around Melissa's neck before saying she is keeping Fenix alive and well, for the more she grieves, the more she had loved. He tells her that she gave Fenix's life meaning, as he was lucky to have her. Melissa says she is lucky to have El Dragon Azteca Jr., and says that he is a great friend. Melissa then heads to the ring.
Famous B is seen in the crowd, having recovered from his injuries at the hand of "The Savage" Jake Strong.
Before the next match, Catrina demands that ring announcer Melissa Santos introduce her, and calls her a bitch. Melissa says "No!" right to her face, which leads to Catrina ramming Melissa's face into the steel cage wall before ramming her into a mat following the Kiss of Death and smashing a flower vase into the back of her head.
Mil Muertes beats The Mack in a Haunted House Match with a Flatliner off the top rope into a table. At the beginning of the match, it is announced that ring announcer Melissa Santos has been taken to a local medical facility following Catrina's attack on her. After the match, Catrina simply says "no" to Mil Muertes.
Famous B thanks everyone for calling him at (423) GET-FAME and wishing him a speedy recovery. He says it took seven screws and three surgeries, but he will be as good as new soon. He also announces that he will introduce the next match since Melissa Santos is not here, and unlike Melissa, he will never leave anybody again. He then reads the card for the introduction, and is immediately mortified when he finds out that Jake Strong is in the next match.
"The Savage" Jake Strong beats Aerostar with the ankle lock. After the match, Strong refuses to let go of the ankle lock until Drago shows up and swings his nunchaku, forcing Strong to retreat.
Backstage, The Worldwide Underground throw a marriage party. Taya and Mundo get a couples coupon to the Slamtown Resort and Spa as well as a picture of Mundo holding the Lucha Underground Championship, but when Mundo looks at at the piture, he becomes sad as it reminds him of how he lost the title. Taya tells Mundo that she has talked to Cueto and taht one week after the wedding, Mundo will face whoever is champion for the title. Mundo thanks Taya, he takes Taya's hand in marriage, and the week after, he will take back the Lucha Underground title. Meanwhile, Johnny Mundo's agent Benjamin shows up, but Ricky Mundo is in his way. Benjamin says he is useful to Mundo and helped his career, while Ricky is useless to Mundo and hps no one, hence why Ricky is the doorman. When Rosa tells Ricky he can't talk to him this way and to show him how useful he can really be, Ricky allows Benjamin in, but hands him what looks like a fountain pen before stabbing him with it. Meanwhile, the party goes on as normal while Ricky Mundo has a psychotic smile on his blood-splattered face and Rosa laughs.
Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship in a Last Man or Machine Standing Match against Cage.
Antonio Cueto is on the telephone in his office. He says that everything is running smoothly, and that there will be another sacrifice to the gods tonight. He then hangs up the telephone, then notices Mariposa walk into his office. Mariposa says that he had heard stories about Antonio through her father, but they did not seem to do him justice. She never expected him to be so handsome in person and that she has fantasized about having a relationship with a Cueto, mostly because it was forbidden. Instead of being here to seduce him over, she is here for a Gift of the Gods title match. Antonio tells Mariposa she doesn't deserve it, but Mariposa pulls out $20,000 in $100 bills, says her family has a lot of money and that they always get what they want. Antonio takes the money, says it is the ultimate aphrodisiac, and says that he could not say no to someone as beautiful and dangerous as Mariposa, who says that she never takes no for an answer before leaving. Antonio then chugs down a bottle of beer.
Before the next match, Antonio Cueto says that he is glad that Paul London volunteered for the next match, then says that only one member of The Rabbit Tribe (Paul London, Saltador, Mala Suerte) will be allowed to compete in the next match. London picks Mala Suerte without hesitation, telling Mala Suerte that by failing the tribe, he has failed the White Rabbit, but now, he gets to prove his worth by having a little tussle. Antonio then says that Mala Suerte has been chosen to become the next sacrifice to the gods, meaning that he is the one to face "The Monster" Matanza Cueto.
"The Monster" Matanza Cueto beats Mala Suerte, then the lights flash to reveal that Mala Suerte has disappeared. During the match, stock cartoon sound effects play during Mala Suerte's attacks.
Joey Ryan and Jack Evans beat XO Lishus and Ivelisse by submission with a modified locoplata from Jack Evans to XO Lishus. After the match, Jack Evans refuses to let go of the hold, and Ivelisse has to take the boots to Jack Evans to break the hold. Joey Ryan has to get out of the ring to avoid Ivelisse's wrath, and Jack Evans says that this isn't over until XO Lishus is dead.
It is announced that El Dragon Azteca Jr. will be defending the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Championship against Mariposa after the commercial break.

Before the beginning of the next match, it is announced on commentary that Vibora is absent, but it is not brought up by commentary that he is dead. Kobra Moon then says that what Johnny Mundo did to Vibora was cold blooded. She likes that, and says that this is why Mundo belongs in her tribe. She then says that Mundo thought he had an advantage, but she has many subjects, and tonight, he will meet his newest one: "Jeremiah Snake," whom she has brought back from death with venom and has since been reborn. Jeremiah Crane comes out in a mask in a zombie-like state, then acts like his usual self before doing Kobra's bidding. The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya Valkyrie, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Ricky Mundo) shows up, and Johnny Mundo says he likes the last minute addition before saying he was thinking of the same time. He tells Ricky Mundo that this is one job he will not do, and says he needs someone he can trust before telling Ricky to go play with Rosa in the locker room. Mundo says he needs someone he can count on, and since Jack Evans is afraid of snakes, he needs someone who has what it takes to cut off the Reptile Tribe's heads like they did Vibora. He then introduces their new partner: Aerostar, who shows up wearing the same yellow headband as the rest of The Worldwide Underground.
The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya Valkyrie, "The Darewolf" PJ Black) and Aerostar beat The Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Daga, Drago and Jeremiah Snake). As per pre-match stipulations, Kobra Moon has to grant Johnny Mundo one wish, and Johnny Mundo tells Kobra Moon she owes him a wish. Mundo uses his wish for Aerostar, telling Kobra Moon that he wishes for Drago to be freed. Mundo leads a crowd chant of "Set him free!" and Kobra Moon has no choice but to let Drago free. Taya is crying because Mundo made a wish for Aerostar instead of her, and after Aerostar frees Drago from his iron collar, Taya calls Mundo an idiot for helping Aerostar and says that everything they did was for nothing. Mundo says that Kobra Moon could not grant his wish, because only Taya could do that. PJ Black then pulls out a small black ring box from his trunks and hands it to Johnny Mundo, and Taya cannot believe what she is seeing as Johnny Mundo does his best "Macho Man" Randy Savage as he asks Taya to marry her. The crowd chants "Si!" as Taya cries "Yes!" Mundo says "Ooh yeah!," then Savage's music plays before Mundo places the engagement ring on Taya's finger before they both kiss.
In the locker room, Ricky Mundo tells Rosa that he has a wish, too: that Taya and Johnny are together until death do them part. Rosa laughs along with Ricky Mundo as they both look into a mirror, and the show ends.

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Santana and Ortiz are playing dominoes when Diamante suddenly returns. Diamante finds it suspicious that King is taking care of LAX after Konnan is taken down. King then gets Santana and Ortiz fired up for their match, and after Santana and Ortiz leave, King and an untrusting Diamante bump fists.

It is time for Fact of Life with Eli Drake. He lists the top five "dummies" in Impact Wrestling: the fans of Impact, Austin Aries, Impact management, the fans of Impact (again), and Moose. He says that the fans of jealous of "the undeniable kavorka of Eli Drake," then goes on to call Moose a half-wit for losing his World title briefcase to him. He then accepts Moose's challenge to face him next with the winner facing Austin Aries. Suddenly, Moose shows up and congratulates Eli Drake for having the cheesiest one-liners in the company before saying Eli Drake is a dummy for losing the tag team titles and his World title match against Pentagon Jr. He then says Eli Drake is a dummy and a loser. Eli then says he does not need gold because he is gold, then punches Moose. Moose fights back by slamming Eli Drake's head into the podium, but Eli Drake hits Moose with the Gravy Train before throwing the podium on top of him .
"The Machine" Brian Cage quickly beats Rohit Raju. After the match, "Reborn" Matt Sydal shows up and congratulates him on his win. He says that Cage is jacked, tan and able to throw anyone else around, but then he says that instead of strength, he sees inner weakness, and he can complete "The Machine" and show him the path if he forgoes his shot at the Impact X Division Championship. Cage responds by hitting Sydal with an F5.

He then says that he will do whatever it takes to get the job done. As for who he thinks he will win between Eli Drake and Moose, he does not seem to care who will face him.
It is announced that Johnny Impact will be returning to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary.
We see a video package chronicling the events of the feud between Madison Rayne and Tessa Blanchard.
Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Tessa Blanchard, who says that she is still a winner and that Madison Rayne is a loser who has to stroll down memory lane. Suddenly, Kiera Hogan shows up. Blanchard becomes aggressive, but Kiera tells Blanchard she is not here to rub her loss in her face, then says she did not live up to the hype. Blanchard throws Hogan into some boxes in retaliation, but Kiera hits some elbows. A member of security tries to stop the brawl, and Blanchard strikes back and eventually gets the last word.
We hear from Moose, who says Eli Drake fucked up. He planned on simply beating him next week, but now he is going to hurt him after what he did earlier tonight.
Alisha Edwards and Tommy Dreamer stop Eddie Edwards before he can kill Sami Callihan, who manages to escape. They try to reason with Eddie, but Eddie hits Dreamer in the groin and goes after Sami.

During the match, Eddie Edwards is seen entering the arena with a Kendo stick as his wife Alisha Edwards screams at him, telling him his feud with Sami Callihan is over. Eddie heads into the ring and attacks oVe and Sami Callihan, choking Callihan out with his Kendo stick as referees to get him to break the hold. Security has to jump in to pull Eddie off of Callihan. Sami calms down, then smashes all the members of security with the Kendo stick.
Backstage, Alisha Edwards confronts Eddie Edwards, telling him he is becoming like Sami Callihan. Eddie does not care, saying the Street Fight was not enough, that he wants no referee and no ropes, and that it is not over until he destroys him.
The Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley) beat The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) after they stop a double-team from LAX and Konley grabs the tights during a roll-up.
Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong. Jimmy Jacobs says Impact Wrestling is a funny place and that people think he is a bad guy, but he is really a good guy and that Grado has been accusing him and Kongo Kong of attacking him. He says that he and Kongo Kong had to go out to the ring and teach Grado a lesson, and that Moose had to stop them as they were righting a wrong. Tonight, he wants to see Kongo Kong break Moose into a million little pieces.
Backstage, KM and Fallah Bahh come across Grado and Katarina. KM is both amazed and mortified that Grado has a girlfriend.
The GWM Flashback Moments of the Week are Mr. Anderson vs. "The Cowboy" James Storm and the final promo for Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray on the episode of Impact Wrestling before Lockdown 2012.
Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Madison Rayne, who was excited to come back to Impact Wrestling. She did not want to come back as a wrestler; she wanted to come back as a commentator. She says the Knockouts division was not built on building, and says that when something like what happened last week takes place, somebody needs to do the right thing. She is then confronted by Tessa Blanchard, who tells her to stay at home before telling her that they should meet face-to-face next time they are both in the ring.
Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Z&E (DJ Z and Andrew Everett). DJ Z says it is surreal that they are champions, especially when Eli Drake and Scott Steiner were twice their size, and that they have proven that they can hang with the rest of the tag team division. Everett says that time and time again, they have been painted as the underdogs, but every dog has its day. Suddenly, Scott Steiner and Eli Drake, and Steiner says Z&E only won because they "slipped on a banana peel" and that they could not beat him and Eli Drake ten times out of ten. Eli Drake tells Scott Steiner to calm down and that they will get the titles eventually, but when Steiner says that if Eli Drake had been at the right place at the right time, none of this would be happening. This leads to an argument between Eli Drake and Scott Steiner that sees Scott Steiner walking away.

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Santana and Ortiz are angry about the lack of answers concerning the disappearance of Konnan as well as their losing streak. Finally, the person known as King - who is none other than former DCC member Eddie Kingston - shows up and tells them that Konnan has been attacked, but he is in a safe place and Homicide is with him. He tells him that shipments are good and that he has everything under control, and reminds them that the streets are watching LAX. He tells them to step their game up and bring back the hunger that they had before they were tag team champions.

Dezmond Xavier beats Petey Williams to face "The Machine" Brian Cage next week at Under Pressure. Petey Williams raises Dezmond Xavier's hand in victory after the match.
We see footage of Allie in her dressing room interspersed with Su Yung's funeral for Rosemary. Allie is then seen putting on a black hood, and she is wearing the same facepaint as Rosemary. She then grabs a crucifix that has been sharpened into a stake and walks out. The words "-B, DON'T LET THE DARKNESS CONSUME YOU! -R" are seen written on the dressing room mirror as Allie is heard saying "I'm sorry...I know this isn't what you want, but this is how it has to be."
Jimmy Jacobs is mysteriously absent as Kongo Kong - who repeatedly looks towards the backstage area - heads to the ring before the next match.
Moose beats Kongo Kong. During the end of the show, the show is mysteriously taken over by a video package containing the circle with the X in it as well as footage of the mystery person's past backstage victims. It is then revealed that Jimmy Jacobs has been laid out backstage and that a red piece of paper with the circle-X symbol is laid next to him.

Eli Drake shows up to start tonight's show. He says that he sees dummies as he looks into the crowd, and says Scott Steiner is busy and that he has asked Scott to take the night off as "he's got freaks...and he's got peaks." Last week, he talked about the possibilities of cashing in his shot at the Impact Wrestling World Championship and winning the title for a second time, then Austin Aries and Petagon Jr. both showed up. He says it does not matter who runs his mouth, for when it comes time to take the title, he will take it. He tells Pentagon Jr. that he has one week before he walks down the aisle and gives him a one-way ticket to the gravy train. Suddenly, Pentagon Jr. shows up and stares down with Eli Drake in the ring.
We see footage from earlier today where Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Kiera Hogan. Kiera may have lost at Redemption, but her redemption is coming a little later when she beats Taya Valkyrie in their rematch tonight. Suddenly, Tessa Blanchard shows up and says Redemption should be Kiera's last pay-per-view match as she is in the division now and she is the whole package and women like Kiera will always take a backseat to her because she is better than Kiera. Kiera says Tessa is better than her at sitting and watching, and tells Tessa to do what she does best while she beats Taya in the ring.
Backstage, Joseph Park is reunited with Grado, who is now back after his immigration problems. He also announces that he has a girlfriend. As Grado looks for his fanny pack, Grado and Joseph are met by Austin Aries, who tries to assert power, rejects Grado's jellybeans and hands Grado a banana - which Joseph Park eats - before he leaves.

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Moose, who says that he has been a top player in the NFL and never won a Super Bowl. Ever since he has been in Impact, he has been a top player but never a world champion. However, he is Mr. Impact Wrestling" has promised that this year will be the year that he wins gold and becomes Impact Wrestling World Champion. Suddenly, Jimmy Jacobs shows up and says he loves the confidence and bravado, but wonders why Moose would want to call himself "Mr. Impact Wrestling" before boasting about what he and Kongo Kong did to Johnny Impact. Moose grabs Jimmy and warns him that he is not Johnny Impact, and asks what he wants. Jimmy says he wants Moose to face Kongo Kong next week. Moose tells Jimmy to bring his monster so he can "whup his big ass," then lets Jimmy go and leaves.
Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan ends in a no-contest. During the match, Tessa Blanchard shows up and brawls with Kiera Hogan as the referee checks on Taya Valkyrie, but Tessa quickly gets the upper hand and lays Kiera out with a Hammerlock DDT.

"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Slex, Nick Moretti and Brodie Marshall for World Series Wrestling in Australia in this week's Global Wrestling Network-exclusive match.
DJ Z, Dezmond Xavier and Andrew Everett beat Drago, Aerostar and El Hijo del Fantasma in a Lucha Rules six-man tag team match. Both teams shake hands after the match, then celebrate.
Backstage, Eli Drake runs into Austin Aries. He admits things got out of control last week, but that is to be expected when the stakes are high. He does not blame Eli for cashing in on Pentagon Jr., and wishes him luck before telling him that the World title is come back to him regardless of who wins. He then says he is rooting for Eli to win, because he knows he can beat him.
This week's Global Wrestling Network Flashback of the Week is the Ultimate X Match for the vacant TNA X Division Championship from Destination X 2012.
KM tells Fallah Bahh that if he follows him, he will change his entire life and make him cool. Suddenly, a backstage worker finds another person backstage mysteriously attacked. Once again, a red card with a black circle with an X going through it is found at the scene.

Allie tells Rosemary that she will be there for her tonight, but Rosemary tells her not to go down to the ring tonight and tells her to promise not to do so. Allie promises not to come to the ring, and Rosemary says it is not what she wants, but how it has to be.
At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Santana and Ortiz are losing everything. Santana says that DJ Z and Andrew Everett will feel their anger next week, and that is it time for them to do something about their situation.
Su Yung vs. Rosemary ends in a no-contest. During the match, Su Yung summons some undead bridesmaids, who bring out a casket. Allie comes out, despite her promise to Rosemary, and attacks Su Yung before telling Rosemary that she would never leave her. Rosemary screams at Allie to leave before it is too late, but the undead bridesmaids grab at Allie while Su Yung attacks Rosemary. Rosemary is able to fight back and grab Su Yung's Kendo stick, but Su Yung spits mist into Rosemary's eyes and hits Rosemary with a Panic Switch through a table next to the ramp. Su Yung then gets Rosemary up again, and two of the undead bridesmaids drags Rosemary towards the casket and palce her inside while Allie is forced to watch.

As Dario Cueto sets up the brackets for the Cueto Cup in his office, Pentagon Dark shows up. He is all healed up, and wants to know where Black Lotus. Cueto says she has went back to Hong Kong and he hasn't seen her in months. Pentagon Dark says he might as well break Cueto's arm next. Cueto says that would not be wise, but Pentagon Dark tries to break it anyway. Cueto saves himself by telling Pentagon Dark he is putting him in the Cueto Cup where the winner gets a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship. Pentagon Dark says he will win the tournament and go on to Ultima Lucha Tres to become champion. If he loses at Ultima Lucha, however, Cueto will be leaving with broken bones.
The Mack beats Mala Suerte to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup.
In the locker room, Cage is lifting weights with the new glove Dario Cueto gave him in his right hand. Cueto shows up, saying he is enjoying the fruits of his labor. He says that a high-ranking politician and city councilman, Lawrence Delgado, has invited him to his office later tonight, and Cueto asks that he be acquainted with him as he gives him his address, telling him that Delgado is expecting him.
Pentagon Dark beats Argenis to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup, then breaks Argenis' arm after the match.
Before the next match, Famous B kicks ring announcer Melissa Santos out of the ring, and says he has a stable and all he needs is a thoroughbred. He tells Texano that instead of fighting him, he wants to represent him, and that all he has to do is pin him. Famous B lays down for him, but Texano lets go of the pinfall and hits him with a sit-out powerbomb to win. Texano beats Famous B to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup.
We see a video package of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Johnny Mundo training for their upcoming Lucha Underground Championship match.
Drago beats Argenis to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup. After the match, Kobra Moon commands Drago to kill Argenis, and Drago lays Argenis out in the middle of the ring before Kobra Moon chains Drago up again.
Cage meets with city councilman Lawrence Delgado at the address provided to him by Dario Cueto, his right hand still in the gauntlet as he enters Boyle Heights City Hall. Delgado says that if Cage cannot remove the gauntlet, then that means the gauntlet is working and that their work will finally begin. Cage does not like the thought of working for a city councilman, and tells Delgado he does not work for him. Delgado says he will, and that the days of working out and drinking protein shakes will be in the past as his life will finally have purpose. Cage grabs Delgado with the gloved hand, forces him up against a wall, then lets him go and says "Sorry, man...I don't know what came over me." We see that the wall behind Delgado now has a hole in it, and Delgado tells him "That's okay...you're still thinking like a man." Cage then punches Delgado in the face so hard that his entire head explodes. Cage then says he is not a man...he is a machine. Cage then stomps on one of Delgado's eyes, now forcibly removed from the man's skull and now on the floor, as he leaves.
