Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 3, 2025

CM Punk heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Punk thanks AJ Lee, the fans and "Main Event" Jey Uso, for their support in becoming World Heavyweight Champion again. He hopes that he and Jey can become friends, but he will not cry if it is not meant to be, as he is not here to make friends; he is here to make money. He says that he does not know how much time he has left, and that he must hold on to the World Heavyweight Championship as tightly as he can. He says that there is no Seth "Freakin'" Rollins in the snakes waiting to cash in on him before mimicking how Rollins has swung the title around from one end. After warning that he will put Rollins back on the couch if he gets back in his business, Punk says that with a crown comes a target, and if he is not the best in the world on any given day, he can lose the World Heavyweight Championship. He knows that Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed and coming for his title, then says that he wants to be a fighting champion as there are a lot of people he wants to punch in the face, The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed) being three of them. Punk says he wants to face the best WWE has to offer such as "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus, and John Cena, then tells anyone who has earned or deserved a title shot to get in line, as the champ is here. Logan Paul suddenly shows up, much to CM Punk's chagrin, and Punk tells him to go to SmackDown and face Ilja Dragunov for the WWE United States Championship. Logan calls himself a Ferrari nobody can afford and Punk a used Honda Civic with over 300,000 miles, then brags about beating John Cena at WrestleMania and says he deserves it before The Vision shows up. Paul Heyman announces that The Vision are about to head to the ring, stating that he sees "a bitch without an owner" in Logan Paul and that "Big" Bronson Reed is the one who belongs at the front of the line. He also states that Bron Breakker belongs at the front of the line as well before stating that Logan is part of the line waiting to get in line for an opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship and reminding Punk he did not lose "their title." Heyman tells Logan Paul that he is at the wrong place at the wrong time and to get to stepping now, but Logan Paul tells The Vision that he was here first and that they should have gotten here faster. Breakker says Heyman bought everybody two weeks to live after he and Bronson dropped Rollins in the dirt, then tells Punk he had his moment and that he is not waiting anymore. Bronson says he is coming for what belongs to him and that nothing else stands in his way but CM Punk and "a dumbass YouTube who thinks he's tough," and tells them to get out of his ring before he whips them both like a dog. Punk tells Logan it is time to fight, and to either fight with him or get out of his ring. Logan gets out of the ring, but Bronson and Breakker get in his way. Breakker shoves Logan before he and Bronson gang up on Punk. As Punk is attacked, Logan Paul gets in the ring and fights The Vision only to get ganged up on as well. Bronson hits Logan with the Tsunami just before Punk gets back in the ring with a metal folding chair, forcing Bronson and Breakker to retreat.

The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez) beat Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella.

We hear from John Cena, who talks about who he wants to face in his last match. He says he wants to face whoever is willing to step up to take the opportunity that he stepped up to take on his first day. He announces a 16-man tournament with randomly chosen participants from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and elsewhere with men he has a history with as well as men he has never faced, with the winner facing him at the next Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13th.

Backstage, CM Punk runs into "Main Event" Jey Uso. Jey admits he has been all over the place, and says he saw what happened tonight and should have been there. He says he appreciates the fight Punk gave him, then tells Punk that everyone is coming after him. He then says that he wants a piece of the action tonight, and Punk accepts the offer.

Penta beats El Grande Americano after both Rayo and Bravo get ejected from ringside for getting physically involved in the match and Penta is able to counter El Grande Americano's loaded headbutt. After the match, Penta outsmarts Rayo and Bravo.

We hear from The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Asuka says everyone needs to recognize that she is the one true legend of the women's division and that what they did last week was just a small taste of what they are capable of. She says that they will keep tearing the division apart until they are given a Women's Tag Team Championship match, and that they have not forgotten about Bayley. Asuka says she let Bayley walk away, but her kindness will not last much longer, as The Kabuki Warriors will do whatever it takes to become Women's Tag Team Champions.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio heads to the ring. Dominik says that he proved without a doubt that he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, the greatest AAA Mega Champion, and the greatest luchador of all time, and that there is no man who can stop him. All of a sudden, Rey Mysterio shows up. He tells Dominik he can say he is the best of all time all he wants, but he draws the line at Dominik says he is king of the luchadores, as he considers that an insult. Rey mentions some of the great luchadores of the last thirty years, including Eddie Guerrero. Dominik tells Rey to keep his father's name out of his mouth, then tells Rey that he did not consider himself among the best. Rey says he will not stand here and let Dominik disrespect lucha libre, but Dominik says that Rey is jealous and "already stealing his mustache" and that Rey is cashing in because he made the Mysterio name relevant. He also says that he has already surpassed everything Rey has done in every way, shape or form, then asks if he has to kick his ass again before telling him to get out of the ring. Rey says that as long as he is around, Dominik will never be king of the luchadores, the ring will never be Dominik's, and Dominik will never be the greatest Mysterio. Dominik pretends to turn around to hit a cheap shot, and this leads to a brawl where Rey gets the upper hand. Rey hits the 619, but Dominik rolls out of the ring before Rey can hit the top rope splash.

Backstage, Lyra Valkyrie meets up with Bayley. Bayley says they have a match to focus on and that they can talk about The Kabuki Warriors' (Asuka and Kairi Sane) actions from last week later.

Becky Lynch suddenly stands on the announce desk and states that The Vision have lost their minds and lost everything while she is dealing with a crooked referee who is hell-bent on holding her down while General Manager Adam Pearce has sent her home to cool down. She claims that New Mexico is only cool because of Breaking Bad and says that Maxxine Dupri does not belong in WWE, and that one survives by being good, not by being lucky, then says she is the greatest women's wrestler of all time and that the wrestling media says she is. Becky says she is a lifelong student of the game and that Maxxine Dupri is not a test one can cram for, then warns Maxxine Dupri that if she makes one wrong move, it will be her last. Becky then has a staredown with The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) as they are on their way to the ring for the next match.

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) beat Bayley and Lyra Valkyria by submission with an Asuka Lock from Asuka to Bayley. After the match, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss rush into the ring as The Kabuki Warriors are about to attack Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Kabuki Warriors retreat.

Backstage, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez celebrate their win and Raquel's upcoming Women's World Championship match. Finn Balor mentions his and McDonagh's plans to win the World Tag titles back when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio storms in angry about Rey Mysterio's return, and asks where Finn and McDonagh was. Finn tells Dominik that he wants the spotlight to himself, and that he and McDonagh have to get the World Tag Team Championships back thanks to him before they leave. Raquel and Roxanne tell Dominik to be in their corner and make it up to them.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retain the World Tag Team Championships against The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) after "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio's interference attempts backfire and Sheamus shows up to take out Dominik.

Backstage, Nikki Bella catches up with Stephanie Vaquer to apologize for tonight's loss. Vaquer says it is okay and that she is ready to defend her title, but Nikki feels like she is making bad decisions since her return. Vaquer tells Nikki she is still amazing and that she paved the way for this division. Nikki wishes Vaquer luck in her championship defense.

We see another casino-related advertisement for WrestleMania 42.

Backstage, Paul Heyman meets up with "Main Event" Jey Uso, saying that he cannot figure out why Jey would want to team up with CM Punk. Jey says that Punk faced him one-on-one, man-to-man, then says that he is focused on what he himself says. Heyman warns Jey that anyone who does not conform to The Vision will be dealt with at the door, then tells Jey that does not apply to him because he has a vision all his own. He wishes Jey luck tonight, then leaves.

General Manager Adam Pearce announces that the first two opening matches in The Last Time Is Now Tournament are Rusev vs. Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sheamus. He then announces that SmackDown Nick Aldis will draw the names for the next two opening matches in the tournament later this week on SmackDown.

"Main Event" Jey Uso and CM Punk vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed) ends in a double count-out. After the match, both teams continue to brawl, and the brawl ends with a Spear and Tsunami to Jey Uso. Bronson and Breakker retreat when Punk gets in the ring with a metal folding chair, but Bronson and Breakker soon get chairs of their own. Logan Paul suddenly shows up and dons his brass knuckles, then punches Punk out. He then removes his brass knuckles and places them in Heyman's hand to end the show.

CM Punk heads to the ring. As the crowd chants "CM Punk," Punk says that is not the name he needs to hear right now, as there are two people who are not here today and one of them has a legitimate reason for that, and that name is Jon Moxley. The crowd chants for Jon Moxley, and Punk says he can sit in the ring all night long for people to chant for Moxley. He admits that he and Moxley may not be the best of friends, and says that he knows where it is like to take himself off the hamster wheel after helping others. Punk says that he is proud of Moxley, and he says that if anyone is in a place where they think they need help, they should reach out, as there is nothing harder and more courageous than asking for help, saying there are times he wishes he did. This then brings up the other name who is not here tonight: Eddie Kingston. He says that he was embarrassed for Kingston last week and he does not know what is happening, and says that while he would fight him over a grudge he does not know about, he is not here. MJF then wants to know why he is booed while Darby is cheered, then realizes that people hate them because he reminds them they are not successful while Darby is like the fans but knows he cannot function in society. He says that Darby is just like the fans and while never wins, and while he may feel cool now, he is a loser when he gets in the ring. MJF says Darby will lose to him at Full Gear because he is weak and too concerned with battering him instead of beating him. MJF then says that even if Allin can change his ways in ten days, he is still the better wrestler, and says he has not been beaten because he is so good that he can beat Allin with a headlock takeover. Allin, who is sitting in the rafters, admits that he may be an outcast, then says he will maintain his composure and have a wrestling match. MJF leaves before Allin can leave the ring, but his path is blocked by Sting and some men in black with paper masks. Suddenly, Shawn Spears attacks with a chair, and Sting and the men in black are all attacked by The Pinnacle. This does not stop Darby and MJF from brawling in the crowd. She then gives Brandi an opportunity to join her "Lady Squad" so she can bring out Brandi's true potential so she isn't living off the coattails of Cody Rhodes. Eli Drake says he doesn't need what EC3 has earned, as he can just bypass him, but EC3 calls him a coward and gives him a chance to prove he deserves it by putting his Bound For Gold title shot on the line against him. Eli Drake says he would have to be a dummy to take that chance, but EC3 adds another caveat: if Eli Drake wins, Ethan Carter III will never challenge for the World title again, and Eli Drake can bypass him with just one match. Eli Drake then says he's cashing in his Bound For Gold title shotnext week, declining the challenge.

Then Dean Ambrose shows up for his match, and shakes hands with Vince prior to entering the ring as Vince, HHH and Stephanie leave.

Vince McMahon heads home in a limo after talking with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage. After he leaves, HHH and Steph show their true colors: they're cheesed off about the announcement from earlier.

Dean Ambrose beats Cesaro. Midway through the match, Cesaro is cut open (and has the cut fixed during the commercial break) and Bray Wyatt shows up (also during the break). After the match, Wyatt disappears.

Triple H calls Randy Orton to join Team Authority backstage. Stephanie McMahon is shocked, as Randy Orton defied their authority last week, but Triple H says he needs the strongest team possible thanks to her dad.

The Miz beats Jimmy Uso.

Tyson Kidd beats Sheamus by count-out by using Natalya as a shield. After the win, Sheamus hits Tyson Kidd with a Brogue Kick.

Dolph Ziggler shows up in the ring expecting a match, but The Authority (Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins, Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, Kane) shows up instead. After announcing Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Kane are in Team Authority, Triple H tries to deceive Ziggler into joining them, saying Cena will get all the credit if his team wins at Survivor Series and Ziggler won't shatter a glass ceiling being on his side. He tells Ziggler that if he joins Team Authority, he'll be able to get whatever he wants. Dolph rejects the power, saying that he wants Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power. Triple H then pits Ziggler in a match against Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship that happens immediately.

Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship comes to an end after an RKO out of nowhere by Randy Orton on Rollins. Despite the bell not ringing, the match is over at that point. Kane shows up and yells at Orton as he leaves.

Stephanie McMahon tells Triple H that Randy Orton can't be trusted. Orton shows up, demanding a match with Rollins, and threatens to not only fight for Team Cena but also to repeatedly demolish Seth Rollins if they refuse to deal with him. Triple H talks sense into Orton, telling him he needs the real Randy Orton on Team Authority as they have to win at Survivor Series. He gives Orton his match against Rollins tonight, and tells them to finish their business tonight so that they don't have any more distractions. When HHH asks if he has a deal, Orton shakes on it.

We see the eyes of Luke Harper...

Ryback beats Titus O'Neil.

Renee Young interviews Big Show, who talks about taking Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power and expresses how he wants to join Team Cena. As for Mark Henry, he feels so betrayed by his recent actions towards him that he can't even form words to describe it except that he wants to knock Henry out of his life.

Big Show vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry ends after Henry rams the steel steps into Big Show. After this, Henry slams Show into the steel steps with a World's Strongest Slam.

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kane have been scouting talent from the last two matches for Team Authority. They pick Mark Henry as their fourth member. Stephanie hopes Triple H knows what he's doing concerning Randy Orton and Seth Rollins.

AJ Lee guests on commentary for the next match.

Renee Young interviews Brie Bella, but Nikki Bella ends it as Brie didn't have her permission to do an interview. Renee is then creeped out by Erick Rowan.

Nikki Bella beats Emma. After the match, Brie Bella walks up to AJ Lee as per Nikki's orders and slaps her. AJ Lee knows what's going on, so she slaps Brie and goes after Nikki until she retreats from the ring.

It's a new day! Xavier Woods is coming back with a James Brown gimmick, it seems.

Rusev beats Zack Ryder with the Accolade. After the match, Rusev tells Sheamus that he will suffer tonight. Sheamus shows up and says that after Raw goes off the air, Rusev will be in for the fight of his life on the WWE Network.

Stephanie McMahon pitches an offer to both Lana and Rusev to join Team Authority. Lana says they'll get back with her.

The Miz and Damien Mizdow guest on commentary for the next match.

Fernando beats Stardust after Diego knocks Goldust into The Miz and Damien Mizdow, distracting Stardust.

Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust) defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) in a steel cage this Friday on SmackDown!

Seth Rollins beats Randy Orton with a backslide pin. After the match, Orton shakes hands with everyone, including Rollins...then RKO's Rollins. Triple H has to stop Orton from punting Rollins. After calming Orton down, Orton attacks Triple H only to be attacked by Kane and Rollins' security. When Orton goes afer Rollins again, Orton is pinned down and Rollins hits him with the Curb Stomp. After this, Triple H gives the order to finish Orton off. Seth Rollins hits Orton with another Curb Stomp, this time onto the steel steps.

After the show, Randy Orton has to be moved out of the arena on a stretcher.

In a WWE Network-exclusive match after the show, Rusev beats Sheamus with the Accolade to the point that Sheamus passes out to win the WWE United States Championship!

Now go watch Cody Rhodes deal with a cursed cowboy hat!

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 3, 1997

It is announced that the match between Sting and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship was made official for Starrcade during a commercial break during the premiere of Assault On Devil's Island last Tuesday. We see a scene from the movie, then the press conference where Sting suddenly shows and signs the contract for the match before pointing his baseball bat at Hogan as he leaves.

Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero beats Rey Mysterio Jr. and Steven Regal with a Texas Cloverleaf to Rey after Malenko tags himself in before Eddie goes for the frog splash, much to Eddie's chagrin.

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

It is announced that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has suffered nerve damage in his face after the events of Halloween Havoc and that there is no telling how long he will be out of action.

Fit Finlay beats Dave Taylor. Raven, Perry Saturn and Billy Kidman are seen heading to the front row during the match.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Lex Luger and The Giant in tag team action! Disco Inferno! The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian)!

Eric Bischoff cuts in on commentary via telephone, telling them that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan has challenged Sting on numerous occasions and has not hid from him, and that Sting is the coward. He says that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's injuries are consistent with brain damage that caused him to get in the steel cage with Hogan in the first place and that Sting suffers from similar brain damage. He also acknowledges the WWF and USA Network trying to put Assault On Devil's Island and Hulk Hogan down and steal Hogan's thunder, and calls all the attempts a miserable failure. He then announces that there will be more movies to come, and next week, the entire New World Order will be on hand with a huge surprise for everyone in WCW.

Yuji Nagata beats Psychosis with the Nagata Lock after Sonny Onoo kicks Psychosis in the face from the apron.

We hear another message from Raven: "Mrs. Landis' sixth-grade classroom. I sat in the third row, next to Teresa Hayes. It was there that I first discovered that alienation is a barren path. The taunting and the badgering by the other kids made me realize the depths of human evil and the dark underbelly of human society. I closed my eyes and pretended I was someone different, that I wasn't a misfit. You can't erase the dream, you can only wake me up. I didn't care. I never obeyed the rules 'cause even back then I realize that nothing in nature behaved so consistently and rigidly as a human being in pursuit of destruction. Quoth the Raven, nevermore."

Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy and Stevie Richards are seen in the front row.

Perry Saturn beats Disco Inferno with The Rings of Saturn to win the WCW World Television Championship in his Nitro debut.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who shows his appreciation for the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He tells Curt Hennig that he will find him in the building and make sure he does that on the air, saying he will be Eric Lindross and Hennig will be Yeager. He dares Hennig, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to cut the sleeves off of his robe. He hopes to eliminate Hennig in the World War 3 match and go on to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour, and we see another performance by The Nitro Girls. "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko replaces Bobby "The Brain" Heenan on commentary for the second hour.

Scott Hall is seen wearing a WCW Tag Team Championship belt around his waist as he heads to the ring. After seeing who is nWo for life and announcing that Kevin Nash and Syxx are at home in Phoenix, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota respectively, he calls out "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko, saying he is a decent announcer and on his best day as a wrestler, he couldn't touch The Wolfpack (Nash, Hall, Syxx) as his best day was about ten years ago. He tells Zbyszko he doesn't want any part of him because he can't even beat Eric Bischoff. After showing the footage of Hall and Bischoff's beating on Zbyszko at Halloween Havoc in typical nWo black-and-white, he then tells the backstage area to bring out Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho beats Scott Hall after reversing The Outsider's Edge with a roll-up, then Hall hits Jericho in the back of the head and hits him with The Outsider's Edge not once, but twice before threatening to do the same to referee Billy Silverman. Hall is about to go for a third Outsider's Edge on Jericho when "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko leaves the commentary table and confronts Hall, telling him to sign the dotted line on his open contract in his hands. Hall walks away, and tells him he will be known by every fan as the biggest coward in the nWo who is afraid of a two-handicap broadcaster.

We see another report by Mike Tenay on lucha libre and the Mexican luchadores. This week's report is on the many high-risk maneuvers of lucha libre.

Barrett Brooks, Kevin Turner and Steve Everett of the Philadelphia Eagles are in the front row for tonight's show. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan joins commentary for the rest of the show.

The Giant shows up during a Cruiserweight Battle Royal and destroys everyone in the ring. Once the ring is cleared, The Giant says that's how you train for a battle royal before telling Kevin Nash he's the only big man in wrestling and that he will send him straight into the crowd in the World War 3 match.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats Alex Wright with the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Ray Traylor beats Steve "Mongo" McMichael. During the match, Bill Goldberg shows up with Mongo's Super Bowl ring on his pinky, and this is enough to distract Mongo.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. Page says he is living a dream and doing exactly what he wants to do. Whether he is hurt or not, he's loving every minute of it. He announces that Halloween Havoc had the biggest pay-per-view viewing audience for a wrestling PPV of all time, and that he is honored to be part of the double main event. He says that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan calling him out jacks him up, and beating him by disqualification doesn't get it for him. What does get him is that he wrestled Savage with torn cartilage in my ribs on Sunday and then wrestled Hogan the next week, and he stood toe-to-toe with Hogan and both men gave it everything they had, and that Hogan still couldn't beat him. At 6'5" and 250 lbs., he is not he biggest or the strongest, but he has the most heart in the business today, as nobody wants it more than him. If he wins the World War 3 match and Hogan is still the champ, he knows Hogan a lot better and says Hogan should be worried.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) in a Philadelphia Street Fight.

We see a replay of what happened at last year's World War 3 Match.

Curt Hennig beats Lex Luger by disqualification and retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship after "The Nature Boy" Ric FLair attacks Hennig once again. Lex Luger then puts Hennig in the Torture Rack, but Flair continues to go after Hennig. Luger chases after Flair and catches him just before Flair can get his hands on Hennig on the way to the back, and confronts Flair for costing him the United States title as the show goes off the air.
