Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 4, 2026

It is announced that after the end of last week's episode, Derrick King, Matchmaker King Cobra and "The Gift" Ray Sanders are attacked by members of Kick Ass Wrestling led by Terry Golden. Security and officials are also attacked in the process. Motley Crew, David Rocker, Danny B. Good and "The Hotstepper" DJ Brown are among those carrying out the attack. Golden says that if Memphis Wrestling wants a war, they have one. Golden says that Kick Ass Wrestling is the last bastion of real Memphis Wrestling and that Starr's promotion "is not Memphis wrestling."



We hear from Tim Bosby, who says that Mike Anthony is not going to be the American hero today and that Anthony will either tap out or get his ankle snapped off.



K-Toomer retains the Big Mane Fight Championship against K-Toomer by submissoin. Before the match, K-Toomer warns Robbie Maddux that while he likes him, this is serious business, and he does not want to fight his friends. Robbie throws his drink at K-Toomer's face instead and gets utterly decimated.



We hear from VaShawn Harvey, who says that he has worked harder than anybody in Memphis Wrestling to win the workhorse championship. He then says that Marko "Hangtime" Harris wants his title, but he beats him every time, and next week, they will settle it once and for all, and afterwards, he will still be Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion.



Dustin Starr interviews "Cold Hearted" Colton Cage, who is dressed up for today's show. He says that he has spoken with some people in the back, then says that being Junior Heritage Champion has been an honor. He then says that his injuries have piled up, as he has just got shoulder injury and also has a knee surgery, and as a result, he must relinquish the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship. Suddenly, "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox and Moses show up, and Knox says that he is glad that Colton Cage is injured and hurt, for he would have beaten him for the Junior Heritage Championship anyway and headed to Beverly Hills. When Eli Knox demands the title, it is announced by Dustin Starr that there will be a match next week to decide the next Junior Heritage Champion.



Backstage, Major Curtis chews out Robbie Maddux for facing K-Toomer and tells him to toughen up, saying that this is not what he trained him for and to pull it in for America.



"The King of Pow" Chris Lexx beats Major Curtis, "Livewire" Bobby Ford and J. Webb in a Fatal 4th of July Match depsite Bobby Ford getting a chain to use as a weapon during the match.



Jake Brewer reports from the second annual Memphis Wrestling Hot Dog Eating Contest. The clown from last week is seen, and he also takes part in the contest. John Jolly ends up winning the contest with four hot dogs left.



Backstage, we hear from Raven Black and Bobbi Thunder. Raven says it does not matter who Xya brings, as she and Bobbi Thunder will beat her and her tag team partner today. Bobbi says they had a deal, and Raven says they have to take care of Xya first.

Xya and Gigi Turner beat Raven Black and Bobbi Thunder after Raven and Bobbi fight over who beats up the debuting Gigi Turner. After the match, Raven and Bobbi argue with each other on the way to the back while Xya and Gigi watch.



Mike Anthony beats Tim Bosby to win the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship for a second time after senior official David Knight stops Bosby from hitting Mike Anthony with a Con-Chair-To, allowing Anthony to drop kick the chair in Bosby's hands into Bosby's head before hitting three brainbusters to win the match and the title.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 6, 2026

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk to start today's show. Mike Anthony respectfully asks for - and gets - the microphone, then addresses the bounty on his head placed by Tim Bosby and says that he will not only double the bounty himself, but he wants anybody and everybody in the business to come after him. He says that people want to see him in this company or that, but he is exactly where he is where he wants to be - in professional wrestling - and dares any and all comers to step up so he can step on them. Suddenly, Sevyn Cruz tries to attack Mike Anthony from behind. Mike Anthony makes light work of him, but Jae Pariah jumps in and also attacks Mike Anthony from behind. This leads to a two-on-one handicap match.

Mike Anthony beats The Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz and Jae Pariah) in a two-on-one handicap match with two double Genetic Dreams followed by a double brainbuster. During the match, Tim Bosby guests on commentary. After the match, Tim Bosby gets in the ring and tries to hit Mike Anthony with the Heritage Championship, but when Mike Anthony ducks and gets him up for a brainbuster, Bosby blocks it and hits a low blow. Bosby then puts Mike Anthony in an ankle lock, and referees and security up just before Bosby lets go of the hold.



Backstage, "The Gift" Ray Sanders, Derrick King and Matchmaker King Cobra agree something needs to be done with "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock. King Cobra says he can handle this himself, but Ray Sanders and Derrick King want to back King Cobra up.



Backstage, Kevin White and Gavin White make a plan regarding Tim Grind and Lil' Homie. Kevin White says they will get things settled, but Gavin wonders what will happen if they do not. Kevin says they will do what is right until they can't, and they will fix it one way or another.



Dustin Starr interviews VaShawn Harvey and Marko Stunt at the announce desk. VaShawn Harvey could care less about Eugene, and Marko Stunt says that Eugene is in the past in more ways than one, saying that Eugene was a fan of his and that he and VaShawn got rid him, as the WrestleCenter does not need Eugene when the real champions are running things. Marko Stunt says there is a major reason why he stuck with VaShawn Harvey, as there is only room for one Marko in Memphis Wrestling and he is the better Marko. Marko "Hangtime" Harris shows up and wants to know why Marko Stunt would help VaShawn Harvey after all VaShawn did to him, then tells VaShawn he is taking the Internet Championship back and kicking their asses. Marko Harris punches the both of them, but the numbers game eventually takes over when VaShawn Harvey throws Marko Harris into the ring steps and blasts him with the Internet Championship.



"Livewire" Bobby Ford beats "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx by disqualification after Chris Lexx picks up a chain that Bobby Ford drops and hits him with the chain wrapped around his fist after Bobby Ford calls him a coward.



Backstage, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock has Jake Brewer forced into the office by Secret Service to announce that "The Gift" Ray Sanders vs. Jay Smooth is now today's main event. He says that Ray Sanders is in so much trouble before Jake Brewer is forced back out of the room.



C-Rex quickly beats Robbie Maddux after overpowering Major Curtis.



We hear from Big Daddy, who talks about his Stage 3 colorectal cancer diagnosis from January, and despite days being both good and bad, he thanks the Memphis Wrestling fans for their support, and says he cannot wait to get back to 100%. He then warns the locker room that there is a beast on the loose and that Big John Dalton is back, and that everyone is on notice.



We see the nurse from a few weeks ago. As she says that she is not crazy, the room glows red, and we see J. Webb behind a window.



CJ Squared (CJ Money and CJ Blaine) vs. The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) ends in a no-contest. After The Slaughterhouse leave a path of destruction through the WrestleCenter entrance, CJ Square get decimated before the bell rings. Muddy Waters (Gio Savage and "The Judge" RJW) show up, and after RJW cracks his whip, The Slaughterhouse and Reverend Ash Taylor back down.



"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock guests on commentary for the next match, and he boots Dustin Starr out of his seat on commentary to do it.

Jay Smooth beats "The Gift" Ray Sanders. During the match, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock has Secret Service remove and replace senior referee David Knight mid-match. Shortly after that, Secret Service removes Derrick King from ringside for being in Ray Sanders' corner. After that, Kale trips Ray Sanders down from the top rope, allowing Jay Smooth to hit Smooth Sailing for the win.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 16, 2026

Before today's show, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock announces to the entire Memphis Wrestling roster that he is the boss now and that there will be trouble if they do not everything he says. He also talks about the cowboy hat that Vince Russo gave to him, claiming that Russo wore it when he was in World Championship Wrestling. Jay Smooth announces that Blaylock will be doing talent reviews, and if anyone is not on their A-game, they are out of here. Blaylock says that everyone will do as he says, whether they like it or not.



Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. BJD says that his father, Big Daddy, has been battling Stage 3 cancer, and that his father's fight reminded him of his fight in the wrestling ring, and after some reflection, he says he has been doing this all wrong. He says that he is taking they keys to the WrestleCenter back and doing this for his father, for no one is promised another day, and that he is coming for gold.



"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock guests on commentary for the next match.

The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth and Kale) beat The Super Friends (Wonder Boy and The Shocker) after "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock distracts the referee, allowing Jay Smooth to hit The Shocker with a low blow while the Secret Service agents keep Wonder Boy out of the ring.



We hear from "The Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith. Tim Bosby interrupts, telling him to finish the job, but Bryan Keith tells Bosby that Bosby himself could not finish the job and that he will get the other half of his payment regardless.

Xya beats Bobbi Thunder by disqualification after Raven Black shows up. Xya is distracted, and this allows Raven Black to hit Xya with a bottle to the head after Bobbi Thunder clotheslines Xya out of the ring.



It is revealed that Moses has laid out "Cold Hearted" Colton Cage in the WrestleCenter parking lot.

Before the next match, Moses drags "Cold Hearted" Colton Cage to the ring, allowing "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox to attack Colton before getting him in the ring to start the match.

"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox to become the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Champion for a second time after shoving Eli Knox into Moses, knocking Moses off the ring apron before hitting the Cold Hearted Cutter to win the match and the title.



Backstage, Kevin White meets with Tim Grind. Kevin and Tim agree that it is all about the kids, and that nobody cares about who beat who between then thirty years ago. Suddenly, Matchmaker King Cobra shows up and says he has the match between Tim Grind and Kevin White booked for next week, and leaves. Tim Grind and Kevin White are confused, as neither of them seem to have asked for this match.



Tim Bosby guests on commentary for the next match.

Mike Anthony beats "The Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith. During the match, Mike Anthony hits the brainbuster, but Tim Bosby pulls senior referee David Knight out of the ring and distracts Mike Anthony. Anthony sends Keith into Bosby, knocking Bosby out of the ring. Bryan Keith tries to pin Anthony, but gets caught with his feet on the rope for leverage, and he powerbombs Mike Anthony and goes for a more legitimate pinfall attempt with a stack-up pin only for Anthony to kick out. Bryan Keith then leaves the ring and grabs the Heritage Championship to use it as a weapon, but David Knight tries to take it away from him. As both men have a tug-of-war with the Heritage Championship, Mike Anthony leapfrogs over David Knight, gets to Bryan Keith and hits him with the brainbuster for the win.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 25, 2026

In footage from earlier today, Matchmaker King Cobra and Big Dan check on the steel cage ring outside of the arena.

Colton Cage beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox by disqualification after Moses pulls the referee out of the ring when Colton Cage hits Eli Knox with a springboard Cold Hearted Cutter. "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship. After the match, Moses attacks and choke slams Colton Cage.



Backstage, Memphis Wrestling veterans Kevin White is with his son Gavin White at the WrestleCenter. Kevin talks about how he beat Tim Grind for his first of five tag team titles, and Gavin says they should shoot for number six.



Dustin Starr interviews Kevin and Gavin White at the announce desk. Kevin says he is coming back for his son Gavin, who has been training to become a wrestler, when The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) show up. Tim Grind says he remembers having a lot of battles with Kevin White as well as Dustin Starr. He wants to leave the past in the past and talk about the future. He says that Memphis Wrestling has some of the best young guys in the business, and he is excited about Gavin White and Lil' Homie. As for the present, The Bizness Dawgs are the tag team champions and the best father-son team in the business. Lil' Homie tells everyone to take a seat and see how the tag team champions take care of business. Kevin White guests on commentary for the next match.

The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat DJ Cash and Zach Daniels.



Jake Brewer announces that K-Toomer made a surprise appearance at the recent Arkansas Travelers baseball game, and that K-Toomer will be returning to the WrestleCenter next week.



"The Ember" Shawn Aries beats Major Curtis after Major Curtis bumps into Robbie Maddox as Maddox is on the ring apron with his drink and Aries dodges Curtis.



In the WrestleCenter parking lot, Matchmaker King Cobra and head of security Big Dan make sure that the lock for the steel cage is in place and that nothing will go anywhere.



Mike Anthony beats "Slick" Nick Scott with the Genetic Dream followed by two brainbusters. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce table. Mike Anthony tells Tim Bosby "Your ass belongs to the Nightmare, bitch!"



We hear from The Slaughterhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick). Reverend Ash Taylor says today is the day and that it all ends in the steel cage. He says that skin will be torn and bones will be broken, and that the real monsters will walk out. We then hear from The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce, Morrow, Sister Asa), who head towards the steel cage ring with a purpose.

The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) beat The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce and Morrow) in a steel cage match, with Reverend Ash Taylor getting the pin and the win on Bruce as Morrow breaks free from being handcuffed to the cage wall.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 4, 2026

C-Rex quickly beats Jae Pariah.



Backstage, we hear from The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie). Tim Grind says everyone wants to know about them, and says that they are not only proud to be tag team champions, but that they had to go through the entire tag team division to stay champions. Tim Grind dares any team who does not believe them can come see what they are about. Lil' Homie says that they are not running or hiding, and that is the business.

The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2). After the match, Dustin Starr interviews The Bizness Dawgs and Xya Wolf at the announce desk. Tim Grind says he has been part of Memphis Wrestling for a long time and that he and Dustin have gone back a long time. He is proud of Memphis Wrestling and of being a tag team champion, and that he is proud to do it with his son. Lil' Homie says that they are putting the tag team division on notice.



Jake Brewer reports that Vince Russo is coming to Memphis Wrestling in order to invest in the company. What this will mean for Memphis Wrestling remains uncertain.



"The King of Pow" Chris Lexx beats "Slick" Nick Scott. "Livewire" Bobby Ford guests on commentary soon after the start of the match, saying that things could have been different. Ford also wants to make a fresh new start after the Cobra Cup Tournament, yet Dustin Starr thinks there is a hint of jealousy in Bobby Ford's voice.



Backstage, Derrick King talks with "The Gift" Ray Sanders, saying that he cares about him and wants him to be the guy. He also tells Mike Anthony that he likes his intensity and that they have one goal. Mike Anthony says that both "The New King of Memphis" and "The King of TNA" will go down.

Dustin Starr interviews Xya Wolf at the announce desk. Xya says the women's division is a mess right now, and knows that Raven Black attacked Big Mama in the parking lot and says she will deal with her when the time comes. She then says she has business to take care of in the ring. Main Event Bradley guests on commentary for the next match.

Xya Wolf beats Mama Money when Mama Money is too focused on CJ Money coming back. (CJ Money does not come back.)



We hear from Tim Bosby. He says that "The Gift" Ray Sanders is a charity case and a paper champion who got lucky for one night, then says it takes a king to know a king and that he called in Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian shows up and says that he and Bosby are kings compared to Derrick King, and if Derrick King gets involved, he will introduce him to Ken the Kendo Stick.

Mike Anthony and "The Gift" Ray Sanders beat Tim Bosby and Frankie Kazarian after Derrick King stops Kazarian from using a second shinai that he hid underneath the ring after senior official David Knight removed the first one before the beginning of the match. Kazarian shoves Derrick to the floor, but when Kazarian gets tossed out of the ring shortly afterwards, Derrick hits him with a Superkick as Sanders hits Bosby with The Slice for the pin and the win.

SuperBout V, Week Three - Memphis Wrestling recap for February 21, 2026

Before the next match, it is revealed that Aaron Roberts' left ankle has been injured with a chair outside of the WrestleCenter, and Matchmaker King Cobra says that another match will have to open this week's show while he takes care of things backstage.

Mike Mondo retains the NWA National Championship against Wonderboy.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who says that he is here for a fight despite an injured leg, and that he is going to fight despite his injury. He then tells Brewer to go tell Matchmaker King Cobra.

Marko Stunt guests on commentary for the next match.

The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick), The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce and Morrow), The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte), The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth and Kale) and Muddy Waters ("The Judge" RJW and Gio Savage) in Tag Team Turmoil after Tim Grind and Xya Wolf stop "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock from running off with the tag team titles by shoving a Twinkie in his mouth.



"The Chosen One" Zay Washington beats "The Problem" Aaron Roberts following a chair shot from the outside to Roberts' hurt leg by Justin Case followed by two top rope moonsaults by Washington.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats Mike Anthony and Tim Bosby in a Triple Threat Match to become the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion for the second time. "The GunShow" Brett Michaels is the special enforcer. During the match, Tim Bosby pulls senior official David Knight out of the ring after Mike Anthony hits Ray Sanders with a brainbuster, shoves Derrick King down when Derrick confronts him, then takes the Heritage Championship and attacks Mike Anthony with it. Derrick King gets in the ring and hits Bosby with the Superkick, then Ray Sanders hits The Slice on Mike Anthony. The GunShow makes the count, and Ray Sanders is champion once again.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 31, 2026

Dustin Starr interviews Tim Bosby at the announce desk. Bosby says that Mike Anthony and "The Gift" Ray Sanders are only fighting to see who comes out in second place behind him, then states that jumping off is a lot easier than jumping on when it comes to getting in the ring with him, because when the bell rings, he will have his opponent praying for God for forgiveness for their sins. He says that if Mike Anthony and Ray Sanders want to fight, he loves watching idiots fight, and he might as well watch from the commentary table.



Before the next match, Main Event Bradley has CJ Money face Big Nasty Phil in his place. He then says that he is not facing Big Nasty Phil today and that CJ Money has to learn how to be a man.

Big Nasty Phil beats CJ Money.



Backstage, Derrick King - now on crutches - meets with Matchmaker King Cobra. Derrick King is here to see "The Gift" Ray Sanders face Mike Anthony in the ring and that he would not miss this for the world, much to King Cobra's chagrin.



We see the music video for By the Book by The Cazana Family Bluegrass Experience, featuring The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana).

Dustin Starr interviews The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana) at the announce desk. AJ says that they are going to bring good wrestling to Memphis, Tennessee, then says there are a few women who could use a gentleman's touch after some in-ring action.

The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana) beat "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx and "Livewire" Bobby Ford after AJ Cazana hits Bobby Ford in the lower back with a branding iron.



Jake Brewer reports that in this year's Cobra Cup tournament, two teams of two will face each other before the winning team squares off in a singles match, with the winner of the singles match going on to the finals. In the Red Bracket, The Shocker and "Livewire Bobby Ford" will face "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx and "The Ember" Shawn Aries. In the Blue Bracket, Major Curtis and Sevyn Cruz will face VaShawn Harvey and CJ Blaine.



C-Rex beats KJ Rockett. Sevyn Cruz gets in the ring during the match and also gets annihilated.



Dustin Starr interviews VaShawn Harvey - no longer with Oso Suave - at the announce desk. VaShawn says he is on his own now and that business moves on just like he is moving on, then says he is the hottest free agent within Memphis Wrestling and that he is about to get in the ring.

Backstage, Derrick King meets with "The Gift" Ray Sanders backstage. Derrick says Sanders should be Heritage Champion right now, but Sanders says that Tim Bosby cashed in "fair and square." Derrick King is not happy with that outcome, then tells him to beat Mike Anthony today. Sanders says he will do it for Derrick, but Derrick tells Sanders he should do it for himself, because it is his time.

VaShawn Harvey beats "The Ember" Shawn Aries.



We hear from "The GunShow" Brett Michaels. He says he has given wrestling his body, his soul and his life, but now, he is at a crossroads. He asks if he should rebuild one more time for one last run, or if she should step away and live a normal life.



Tim Bosby guests on commentary for the next match.

Mike Anthony beats "The Gift" Ray Sanders. During the match, Tim Bosby gets up from the commentary table as Mike Anthony puts Ray Sanders in an ankle lock to send a message to Bosby. Derrick King shows up ready to hit Bosby with a crutch, but as this goes on, Mike Anthony beats Ray Sanders with an inside cradle.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 10, 2026

We see footage of "Wildfire" Tommy Rich's meet and greet at the WrestleCenter.

We see footage of Silas Mason's meet-and-greet at the WrestleCenter.

#30 Mike Anthony makes a shocking return in his first match since losing the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship to Marko "Hangtime" Harris and beats #1 "The Gift" Ray Sanders to win the 2026 Grind City Rumble and earn a future championship opportunity.

During the match:

Main Event Money (Main Event Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) shows up at #4, with CJ Money wrestling first while Main Event Bradley guesting on commentary until "The Ember" Shawn Ember enters at #9, when Bradley attacks him. CJ Money is eliminated by a returning #10 Big Nasty Phil. When Raven Black enters at #22, Mama Money jumps in.

Big Nasty Phil returns at #10 and eliminates #4 CJ Money, making CJ Money the first elimination of the match. C-Rex returns at #23 and is eliminated on the outside by #4 Mama Money as C-Rex goes at it with #24 Big Mama after Big Mama and four other people nearly eliminate her. Mike Anthony returns at #30, making this his first match since he lost the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship, and he wins the Grind City Rumble after last eliminating #1 "The Gift" Ray Sanders.







Jack Passion debuts at #12. He is eliminated by #2 VaShawn Harvey. Major Curtis debuts at #14.



Big John Dalton enters at #11, while K-Toomer enters at #18. Both men are eliminated by multiple competitors simultaneously, then both men continue to fight each other on the floor.

Total Nonstop Action Superstar The Home Town Man enters at #19, accompanied by Mane, the mascot of NBA G-League basketball team Memphis Hustle. He is eliminated by #25 The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) after going for a "Too Sweet."





The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) enter at #25. They eliminate #17 "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx and #19 The Home Town Man (after The Home Town Man) goes for a "too sweet." They are eliminated by #2 VaShawn Harvey and #5 "The Chosen One" Zay Washington.



#5 "The Chosen One" Zay Washington is eliminated by "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who is not even part of the match. After Washington is eliminated, Roberts continues to beat Washington up before dragging him to the back.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 4, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk to start today's show. Mike Anthony announces that today is Day 364 of his Internet Championship reign and that tomorrow will be a full year. He gives credit where credit is due and says this would not have been possible without the fans. He tells "The Chosen One" Zay Washington that if he wanted to challenge him for the Internet title, all he had to do was turn the knob on the door and walk on in. He also says he is not waiting until the main event, and that he is defending his championship right now.

We see footage from a Memphis Tigers volleyball team photo shoot.



"The Chosen One" Zay Washington beats Mike Anthony to become Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion for a second time! The match ends Mike Anthony's reign one day shy of a full year. During the match, which sees constant interference from "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and Justin Case getting ejected from ringside by senior official David Knight for pulling Knight out of the ring during a pinfall attempt, Aaron Roberts gets kicked in the groin by Mike Anthony, who then hits him with a brainbuster. Anthony hits the move, but Zay Washington hits Mike Anthony with a top rope 450 splash immediately afterwards to win the match and the title.



In the parking lot, Jake Brewer reports on The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) selling their own merchandise to Memphis Wrestling fans out of a car. Ruffshot Lamont says people are paying big bucks for their anti-Dustin Starr merchandise, and that they are doing this to pay their $10,000 fine for attacking Gio Savage - who they call a "high powered dancing coward" - levied against them by Matchmaker King Cobra, who has also suspended The L.A. Hustlers for the attack.



Makkari Kandy shows up and hands a letter intended for J. Webb to Dustin Starr.

We see footage of Nixi XS travelling the world, including Paris, France, with the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship in tow.



Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. Big John Dalton says Memphis Wrestling has been killing it all over the back, but they are back at the WrestleCenter, and he is loving it and he is on fire. On the subject of his recent matches with Sycho Simon, K-Toomer shows up and says that Big John Dalton has not checked on him once since they lost the tag team titles and he was briefly out of action. He tells Big John Dalton that he has the ability, but not the knowledge. He also says Buff Bagwell should not have been ringside in private conversations, and says that Big John should have his head in the game. Big John Dalton takes this as K-Toomer disrespecting Buff Bagwell, and Dustin Starr reminds them that they have a tag team match next week and that they need to get it together.



Backstage, Main Event Bradley meets with Mama Money and CJ Money, and blames CJ Money on their recent tag team loss. He grounds CJ Money and confiscates his phone, his watch and his belt with help from Mama Money. He also says that he was supposed to face "The Gift" Ray Sanders next week, but now CJ Money is going to do it, and that he will be on commentary at the announce desk to ensure CJ Money gets the win.



Colton Cage retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship against CJ Blaine.



We see footage from this year's Wrestling Night at AutoZone Park.



Backstage, Sycho Simon grabs a cameraman and senior official David Knight, then attacks a random person in the men's bathroom and attacks him and pins him for a three-count. He tells the championship committee that they wanted a match and that there are no rules, and that he is the master and ruler of Memphis Wrestling.



J. Webb shows up and receives the letter from Makkari Kandy at the announce desk, then walks off.

The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth and Kale) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) after "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock distracts the referee and hands Jay Smooth a cane to hit Tim Grind with prior to a double-team manuever to win and retain. After the match, Jay Smooth grabs Xya Wolfe as she checks on Tim Grind, and Lil' Homie saves Xya and sends Jay Smooth, Kale and Jimmy Blaylock into a retreat with a metal folding chair.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for September 27, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Sycho Simon at the announce desk. Simon demands the fans stand up, then tells Buff Bagwell that he will tear his other leg off if he shows up in Memphis Wrestling again and tells Big John Dalton that he will take Buff's beating today.

Sycho Simon retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against Big John Dalton in a no rules match.



We see more footage of the hooded man, Bruce as a werewolf and a possessed Sister Asa.



We see footage of Memphis Wrestling at the Lauderdale County Fair.



Backstage, "The Gift" Ray Sanders meets with Matchmaker King Cobra, who says that Ray Sanders should be the #1 contender not for the Junior Heritage Championship, but for the Memphis Heritage Championship, and reminds him of the dangers of facing Sycho Simon. Matchmaker King Cobra then wants to know if Ray Sanders is up to the challenge.



The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Secret Service, Jay Smooth, Kale) shows up, and Jimmy Blaylock guests on commentary for the next match.

The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2), The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal), Special Forces (James and Jayson) and the team of Wonderboy and The Shocker in a five-way tag team match to become #1 contenders for the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships.



We see Makkari Kandy write a letter to J. Webb detailing how she has hurt her and everyone around her and states that enough is enough. Thunder is heard, but Makkari ignores it.



We see footage of Rikishi and Thamiko Fatu at a meet and greet with fans at the WrestleCenter.



Rikishi guests on commentary for the next match.

Thamiko Fatu beats "Hollywood" Eli Knox. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Rikishi and Thamiko Fatu at the announce desk. Rikishi says it is good to be back home, and thanks the fans for their support and says it is always free to be kind to one another and to make the world a better place.



Dustin Starr interviews Main Event Bradley, CJ Money and Mama Money at the announce desk. Bradley says that he will show CJ Money exactly what happens when one, then says he has "Main Event Money" behind him and that he is going to be champion.

We see a video package of Mike Anthony's reign as Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion as part of his quest to be champion for a full 365 days.

Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Main Event Bradley. After the match, Justin Case shows up, then "The Chosen One" Zay Washington runs into the ring takes out Mike Anthony.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for September 6, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. Mike Anthony says that word going around is hat there is a target on his back and that The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) wants his championship. He says that while his door is always open, all they have to do is cross "the gun line" and they can go right now.

Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "Livewire" Bobby Ford in an open challenge after Bobby Ford hits Mike Anthony with the Genetic Dream only for Mike Anthony to withstand it. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony, who asks The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) if they get his message before telling them to step right up. Anthony is suddenly attacked from behind by Zay Washington, who has a chain around his fist. Bobby Ford steps up to Washington, which starts a brief brawl. Washington says that the Internet Championship is his on his way out.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who says that Buff Bagwell is lucky he got away because he would break him down if he got his hands on him. He then declares himself the master and ruler of Memphis Wrestling.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox.



We see Sister Asa become seemingly demonically possessed followed by more footage of Bruce transforming into a werewolf.



The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) beat Special Forces (James and Jayson) after The Disorderliers switch places behind the referee's back.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews Oso and VaShawn Harvey. VaShawn takes offense to the term "bounce back," then calls Tim Bosby "the most overrated sucka in Memphis Wrestling" before heading to the ring.



Gio Savage beats VaShawn Harvey. After the match, VaShawn Harvey argues with, then shoves, referee Arthur Logan multiple times. The referee soon shoves back, then ducks VaShawn's clothesline and hits him with a shoulder block. VaShawn then kicks the ref twice before putting him in the Sharpshooter.



Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

Carlito beats "The Problem" Aaron Roberts. During the match, Carlito hits a thrust kick on Roberts and goes for the Backstabber, but Roberts backs him and senior referee David Knight into the corner. Justin Case then grabs Carlito's apple and hands it to Roberts before holding Carlito down, but when Roberts spits apple at Carlito, Carlito ducks and Roberts hits Justin Case instead. Carlito then wins the match with a schoolkid pin.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for August 2, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk to start today's show. Mike Anthony says he does not feel like the fan-chosen MVP the last couple of weeks, as he has been flat on his back in the middle of the ring, and that he was the result of a war he did not start. He says the mission was to be laser-focused and the goal was to be the greatest Internet Champion of all time, and that the fans chant "MVP" because it is true. He wants Tim Bosby, Aaron Roberts and Zay Washington in the main event, stating that the door is always open.



In footage from earlier today, Mama Money and Main Event Bradley head to a McDonald's. We find out that CJ Money is grounded, and Main Event Bradley insists that CJ Money needs a father figure in his life.



Dustin Starr interviews Justin Credible at the announce desk. Justin says he hears Memphis, Tennessee and the WrestleCenter on the fire, and he wants to take it to the extreme right here for one night. He says he knows Sycho Simon is here and is hardcore, and that he wants to fight him.

Sycho Simon retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against Justin Credible in a No Rules Match.



The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) are at the back of the building when Matchmaker King Cobra shows up. The Big Manes find out that they are banned from the building after all of the recent chaos between them and The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service).



Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) at the announce desk. "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock says that the fans can throw Twinkies all they want, as they are "the greatest tag team champions you've ever seen." The Hollywood Clique also share bottles of champagne as The Big Manes show up. Security is directly behind The Big Manes as The Hollywood Clique get in the ring before anything can happen. K-Toomer apologizes for what they are about to do and asks Dustin to get behind the desk before he and Big John Dalton beat up security. As this goes on, The Hollywood Clique leave the ring and flee from the WrestleCenter in their limousine.



KJ Rockett beats Raven Black after Sevyn Cruz gets on the apron to throw a clipboard into the ring only for Rockett to hit Raven Black with a fan behind the referee's back after Cruz gets smacked with the clipboard.



It is announced that Xya Wolfe will be out indefinitely after suffering a concussion in her last match against The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) and James Ellsworth.

Backstage, Tim Grind tells Lil' Homie that Xya Wolf being in the hospital like Flex is what he was afraid of. Lil' Homie says they will have to fight for their lives after Tim Grind says he does not know when The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) will stop.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Marko "Hangtime" Harris.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 26, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Justin Case and The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) at the announce desk. Aaron Roberts states that two weeks ago, they proved that they ran and still run Memphis Wrestling, then says he has put Memphis Wrestling on his back through the United States. When Zay Washington takes the microphone, he and Roberts are attacked by Tim Bosby and Mike Anthony, and security and officials have to restore order. Soon after a video package for The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) vs. The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) and James Ellsworth, Bosby and Anthony are seen shaking hands.



We see video footage of The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) getting into their old Dodge truck and driving off for Battle on the Ballfield at New Albany, Mississippi on August 8th.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) beat The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) after Ellsworth tapes a gold chain to his boot for a superkick on Xya Wolfe as Xya dives off the top rope to the outside.



We hear from Diana Taylor, who says that she has talked to Matchmaker King Cobra and has gotten a match that will allow her to defend the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship and even the odds: a Lights Out Match.

At the announce desk, Dustin Starr interviews "The Gift" Ray Sanders, who says that VaShawn Harvey has cost him the Junior Heritage Championship and that he is done playing around and wants a fight. VaShawn Harvey shows up, and this starts an impromptu match.

"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats VaShawn Harvey by count-out in an impromptu match that goes into the crowd as well as the box seats.



Nixi XS beats Diana Taylor in a Lights Out Match to become the Memphis Wrestling Women's Champion after throwing a bracelet onto the mat so that she can distract the referee, poke Diana in the eye and hit the DDT to win the match and the title.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews Big John Dalton. Suddenly, K-Toomer shows up, grabs the microphone, tells Jake to leave, and warns The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale) that it is "on sight" and that he will beat the shit out of all of them.



The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) beat Tim Bosby and Mike Anthony following the distraction by Justin Case.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 12, 2025

It is announced that Marko "Hangtime" Harris has fallen ill and that someone else will be challenging Mike Anthony for the Memphis Wrestling Internet Champiopnship this week.

In backstage footage from last week, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock is furious that one of his Secret Service agent's nose in broken and promises that there will be hell to pay for The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton).



Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique (Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Secret Service) at the announce desk. Jimmy Blaylock says that Ray Collins' back is broken and that K-Toomer is a scumbag who belongs in prison. The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) show up, and Blaylock gets furious at them for the beating The Big Manes dealt out during last week's show. When Dustin Starr reminds Blaylock that he instigated all of it, Blaylock says K-Toomer crossed a line and should be in prison. K-Toomer tells Blaylock to shut up and threatens to slap Jay Smooth, then says there will be no more games or jokes and that he will put The Hollywood Clique in the ground. Dustin Starr then announces that as per Matchmaker King Cobra, Jay Smooth will need to find a partner for a match for the tag team titles next week. Blaylock offers to be Smooth's partner, as does the other Secret Service member. K-Toomer says that The Big Manes are "the punishment of God" and that even if they bring their mother, they will put her in the ground, too.



Dustin Starr interviews Colton Cage at the announce desk. Colton Cage says that a few weeks and a lot of dedication can make a difference, then "Main Event" Bradley shows up and congratulates Colton Cage on being the shortest-reigning Junior Heritage Champion in history. He then says that he will beat Colton Cage and become Junior Heritage Champion, saying that the title was made for him. Colton Cage accepts, saying Bradley will have to kill him to take it.



Colton Cage retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship against "Main Event" Bradley with the Cold Hearted Cutter despite tweaking his knee on the roll forward from the top rope when he cannot hit the Cupid's Arrow.



Backstage, Derrick King meets with Gio Savage and wants to know more about Gio Savage's personality and what makes him "the guy." Gio Savage says he is "the enemy of average" and promises to show that in the ring.



Gio Savage beats CJ Money.



The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal) beat The New Guys (Jake Bosche and Scott Stanley).



Backstage, "The Gift" Ray Sanders meets with Shark Boy. Shark Boy is looking for Wonder Boy and The Shocker, and Ray Sanders leads Shark Boy to them.



In backstage footage from last week, CJ Blaine thanks Jazz for the help, and Jazz tells CJ Blaine that if he needs help again, he knows who to call. CJ Blaine leaves, then Mike Anthony meets with Jazz and they both catch up on things.



Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

This week on Vybe Check, United Wrestling Network Women's Champion Big Mama is at the WrestleCenter along with Raven Black. Not surprisingly, Big Mama does not take Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett's disrespect towards Raven's looks and threatens to beat them up.



Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. Mike Anthony admits he was looking forward to meeting Marko "Hangtime" Harris in the ring, as he has aimed for nothing but the top dogs since his Memphis Wrestling debut and had the audacity to propose the challenge a week beforehand, which he respects. He then says that his doors are still open and is about to say that he is the greatest Internet Champion of all time when Tim Bosby shows up. Tim Bosby reminds Mike Anthony that he is a three-time Internet Champion and the new franchise of Memphis Wrestling, then proposes "Franchise vs. MVP" right here, right now. Mike Anthony confidently accepts.

Tim Bosby vs. Mike Anthony for the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship ends with the interference of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington. Tim Bosby gets in the ring, but the numbers game takes over as Justin Case arrives and directs traffic. Referees shows up and Roberts and Washington continue to do damage, and Bosby and Anthony are both hit with a Problem Bomb. Zay Washington then calls for a powerbomb from Roberts on Mike Anthony so he can hit Anthony with a top rope moonsault. He then shoves Bosby to Roberts for a choke slam.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 28, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. Anthony says he has been champion for so long that he has lost count of how long, and he plans to be Internet Champion for a year before stating that his reign will be forever.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against The Shocker. Both men have a moment of good sportsmanship after the match.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews "The Chosen One" Zay Washington. Washington takes the microphone and says that Marko "Hangtime" Harris cannot keep his nose out of his business, and that he was proving he was the best of the best until he interfered. He tells Marko that if he wants his moment, all he has to do is come and find him, and he will make sure he gets his moment.



The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) after Xya Wolfe pulls Reggie B. Fine off the ring apron and slaps him after he piefaces her. After the match, The L.A. Hustlers attack The Bizness Dawgs from behind while Reggie B. Fine keeps Xya Wolfe in the corner.



We see footage of Tim Bosby with the WrestleCenter faithful before the show.



Tim Bosby beats "The King of Poww" Chris Lexx by submission with the ankle lock.



Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor - who is wearing sunglasses that hide the fact that she has been blinded - at the announce desk. Diana says that while her eye is getting better, she has some light sensitivity and has to wear sunglasses and use eye drops, and she has no idea when she will be cleared to compete. Mathcmaker King Cobra shows up and says that Diana has been unable to defend the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship within 30 days. Diana says that she will defend the title in any way she can, and asks him to talk it out with her before stripping her of the title.



We see footage of someone training at the WrestleCenter. This person will debut next week.



Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage beats Vashawn Harvey to become the inaugural Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Champion! During the match, Vashawn Harvey shoves Colton Cage into the corner and into referee David Knight. As Oso takes off his gold chain, he is confronted by "The Gift" Ray Sanders, and that allows Colton Cage to hit the Cold Hearted Cutter to win the match and the title. After the match, Derrick King personally awards Colton Cage with the Junior Heritage Championship.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 31, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. GunShow says he has taken care of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington, then says that whoever wants some can come get some. All of a sudden, Sycho Simon suddenly shows up and slowly approaches the announce desk, then he grabs Dustin's fist along with the microphone and tells him to put his money where his mouth is regarding fighting anybody in the locker room. Simon and The GunShow brawl at the announce desk, then both men grab metal folding chairs before Matchmaker King Cobra shows up with referees and security. King Cobra calls for an end to the brawling and says they can have this match right here, right now, today, anything goes and with the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship on the line.

Sycho Simon beats "The GunShow" Brett Michaels in a no rules match to become the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion after hitting GunShow in the face with his spiked shoulder pad. After the match, Simon celebrates by tearing up a pro-GunShow sign before leaving through the lobby the same way he arrived.



Makkari Kandy and J. Webb beat Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett in a mixed tag match with a submission hold from J. Webb to KJ Rockett.



Dustin Starr interviews Scorpio Sky at the announce desk. Scorpio admits that while he usually calls every town he goes to the worst he has ever been in, he has a soft spot for Memphis, saying the city has changed his mind and that he is here to show the fans that everything they have heard about him is true. As he says that he is the best, Justin Case, "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington show up, and Washington says he is tired of people from other cities showing up claiming they are the best. Washington says he is the best and that if Scorpio is the best like he claims, then he has to prove it. Scorpio challenges Washington a match next week, and Washington accepts.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx, who has not been seen in Memphis Wrestling for quite some time (mostly due to being in Bluff City Wrestling and winning the Southern Heavyweight Championship there).



We hear from "Hangtime" Marko Harris, who says that while he has proved he is a top player, he has not proved that he is the best, and he plans to change that by challenging "The Problem" Aaron Roberts to a match.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) vs. The Big Manes (Big John Dalton and K-Toomer) for the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships ends in a no-contest after The Big Manes are attacked by The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service). The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) show up and fight The L.A. Hustlers to the back as The Hollywood Clique attack The Big Manes with pipes, chairs and even Jimmy Blaylock's cane before striking K-Toomer in the head with a chair and celebrating with the tag team titles to end the show.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 17, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Derrick King at the announce table. Derrick King has the Junior Heritage Championship in his hand, and he announces that today, we will find out who will compete in the Junior Heritage Tournament that starts next week.



Backstage, "The Gift" Ray Sanders finds out about the Junior Heavyweight Tournament when he is approached by Oso, who makes it known that he still has his eyes on him. Meanwhile, Vashawn Harvey has also found out about the tournament.



Gio Savage beats Icemane Sosa.



Backstage, "Casanova" Colton Cage and Kale find out that they are in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament.

Dustin Starr interviews Brother Bruce, Marrow and Asa at the announce desk. Bruce says they have seen the light and recognize that they were led by "an Ash-hole," then takes off his jacket to reveal a "Memphis Wrestling Rules" tank top and states they have a new philosophy: they will "maul them all." Afterwards, Reverend Ash Taylor shows up. He admits he did not expect to be here today and states a lot has happened. The Slaughterhouse ("Jagged" James Dean and "Nasty" Nick James) then shows up after Ash Taylor says that he will break his former family. As The Slaughterhouse overpower Bruce and Marrow, Reverend Ash Taylor says his family took everything from him, and now he will take everything from him. He forcefully removes Morrow's mask, then he and The Slaughterhouse head to the back.





Backstage, K-Toomer tells Big John Dalton that The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Secret Service, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth) has a problem, not the other way around, and that it is "get back season."



Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) at the announce desk. Lamont complains that the deck is constantly stacked against them and that they will hold the show hostage until they get a shot at the tag team championships and demands that they get their rematch now. Suddenly, The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) show up, and Tim Grind says they have not forgotten what they did to Flex and that they should be worried about them. Bradley laughs about it, and Lil' Homie says The L.A. Hustlers would have ended up in the hospital had he been involved. Bradley shoves Xya Wolfe, and officials have to stop the brawl that ensues.



The Shocker is revealed to be in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament. Meanwhile, CJ Money finds out in the parking lot that he is the tournament, and Mama Money celebrates.





Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor at the announce desk. Diana says Nixi XS has kept threatening her not to show up, but she is the one who is here being the champion Nixi XS wishes she could be. Suddenly, we see another video from Nixi XS, who says she warned her and unleashes her surprise. The surprise ends up being Su Yung, who attacks Diana Taylor from behind before putting on her glove and locking in the Mandible Claw. Officials and security show up to break the hold and help Diana to the back.



CJ Blaine is revealed to be in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament. Backstage, Main Event Bradley finds out that he is in the tournament.

KJ Rockett beats Makkari Kandy after knocking Sevyn Cruz off the apron with her candy bowl - which Sevyn Cruz has taken - only for KJ Rockett to win with a schoolkid pin.



Backstage, we hear from Diana Taylor, who calls out Su Yung and says she is and always be the Memphis Wrestling Women's Champion and the fighting champion, and that they will settle this.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Wonderboy.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 26, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, "The Chosen One" Zay Washington and Justin Case at the announce desk. Justin Case says Roberts had a problem and took care of it, and Washington says he is tired of "The GunShow" Brett Michaels getting opportunities and that he will beat him and become the Heritage Champion. Robert tells the WWE ID Prospects that this is his house and threatens to fight any one of them. All of a sudden, Jackson Drake shows up, introduces himself and says he is here to solve a problem. He says he looks at Roberts and sees not a problem, but a joke and "a 400 lb. parade floatie with anger issues" who wants to fight people, then says he is just "the baddest man talking." Referees have to stop a brawl from breaking out after Drake challenges Roberts for next week.



We see footage from earlier in the week of Oso watching "The Gift" Ray Sanders training in the WrestleCenter. Oso tells Sanders that he hopes to hear from him.



The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Marrow), now without Reverend Ash Taylor, beat The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2).



We see footage of Reverend Ash Taylor travelling down a dirt road and into a forest with his jacket in one hand and his collection plate in the other. He soon finds a sign in the leaves, and it leads him to an abandoned barn-like building. We then hear a news report for The Slaugterhouse ("Jagged" James Dean and "Ruthless" Nick James).



"The Chosen One" Zay Washington beats CJ Blaine following the distraction by CJ Money and Mama Money. After the match, CJ Money and Mama Money get in the ring, and CJ hits Blaine in the back with a leather belt.



Backstage, Nixi XS tries to call someone to help her deal with Diana Taylor when Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett show up and propose to back Nixi up against Diana.

Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against J. Webb after taking a piece of candy out of Makkari Kandy's candy bucket. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. After mentioning that the sour candy he just got was extra sour, Anthony declares another victory before asking who is next.



Backstage, Tim Grind and Xya Wolfe are met by Lil' Homie Lance, who shows up with new jerseys and a new name - the Bizzness Dawgs - and makes it clear he wants a piece of The L.A. Hustlers. Grind says Lance is not ready, but Lance says they can work as a team.



Wonderboy beats Larintiz X.



In backstage footage from earlier this week, Matchmaker King Cobra meets with Tim Bosby. He finds out that his rematch with Marko Harris will be two-out-of-three falls and will have the Cobra Cup on the line. Bosby is okay with the first stipulation, but has to think about the second one.



Indi Hartwell and Diana Taylor beat Nixi XS and KJ Rockett.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 12, 2025

We see footage of The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) mention their fear of heights as they head into the WrestleCenter.

We see footage of Matt Hardy with the fans (and James Ellsworth) at the WrestleCenter.



Dustin Starr interviews Matt Hardy at the announce desk. Matt says that today's event has been spectacular and that today's ladder match will be exciting to watch, even though it is the most dangerous match in wrestling due to the high heights and the ladder being used as a weapon. He advises both teams to beat their opponents down and incapacitate them before going for the title, then says he will be guesting on commentary for this match.



Tim Grind and Xya Wolfe beat James Ellsworth and Shazza McKenzie in a mixed tag match.



"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock finds a state law that he thinks he can use against Memphis Wrestling over having an unsafe workplace, then promises that The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth) will be the new tag team champions.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders meets with Matt Hardy in the parking lot, and asks for advice from going from a tag team superstar to a solo superstar. Matt tells Sanders that if he believes in himself, he can become a great singles star.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Gio Savage by TKO with a triangle choke.



We see footage of Memphis Wrestling in front of the FedExForum as well as Matt Hardy and Grizz vs. Sycho Simon and Aaron Roberts at Memphis Grizzles Wrestling Night.

We see footage of "The GunShow" Brett Michaels with the Memphis Showboats.



We hear from CJ Blaine, who says that he had CJ Money's back when nobody else did. He says they were a team until Momma Money showed up, then CJ Money attacked him. CJ Blaine reveals that he has his own belt, then says that everyone knows what they say about payback.



Matt Hardy guests on commentary for the next match.

K-Toomer and Big John Dalton beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont), The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal), The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth), The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Marrow) and The Memphis Mizarks (Jackson Crowley and Abel Booker) in Memphis Wrestling's first-ever ladder match to become the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Champions! After the match, Matt Hardy personally congratulates K-Toomer and Big John Dalton on winning the titles. The show ends with Big John Dalton and K-Toomer celebrating with the fans.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for March 22, 2025

We see footage of "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth talking to the crowd after last week's show, thanking the fans for supporting the up-and-comers on the Memphis Wrestling rosters and calling it an honor to wrestle in Memphis Wrestling.



Outside of the WrestleCenter this morning, Tim Bosby is sitting on the steps when a white GMC truck appears. King Cobra comes out of it, and Bosby says he needs a rematch with Marko Harris.



Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. He says that the mission was to surpass Tim Bosby, and he has done just that, then declares himself the standard of the Internet Championship and that the door is wide open.

Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Kale.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats Vashawn Harvey.



Dustin Starr interviews Matchmaker King Cobra at the announce desk. King Cobra announces that the rematch between Tim Bosby and Marko Harris will be happening today.



We hear from "Main Event" Bradley, who takes sole credit for winning the tag team and trios titles and blames the family members around him for losing them while simultaneously claiming that they are dragging him down, then says he took the trash out with Big Nasty Phil, who he says is never coming back. Bradley says that he will prove that he is the main event, then it is announced that Bradley will be in action next week.



Backstage, Terrence Ward is talking with "The GunShow" Brett Michaels when Justin Case and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington show up. Washington says GunShow has been handed everything and declares himself GunShow's new problem. Justin Case tells GunShow that he will face Washington next week.



Diana Taylor beats KJ Rockett. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor, who says that Nixi XS has her attention and that she is getting a DDT.



Tim Bosby vs. Marko Harris ends in a TV time limit draw as Bosby has Harris in the ankle lock in the middle of the ring, which Harris refuses to submit to.
