Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for March 21, 2026

Dustin Starr interviews Tim Bosby at the announce desk to start today's show. Bosby says the fans are only booing him because he beat "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth, and that Nemeth found out what happened when you step in the ring with "the best independent wrestler today." He calls "The Gift" Ray Sanders "Ray Ray," "a charity case," and "a paper champion," then says Sanders crumbled harder than the Memphis Grizzlies. He also announces that Frankie Kazarian will be here next week to explain his actions.



During the week, everybody is curious about the wooden box outside of the WrestleCenter to be delivered to "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox and not to be opened until April 11th.



"The Gold Standard" Eli Knox retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship against "The Ember" Shawn Aries after Knox's bodyguard trips Aries off the top rope. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Eli Knox at the announce desk. Knox says that nobody should be worried about his enforcement and that the attention should be on him. As for the crate outside of the WrestleCenter, he has no idea what is going on with it.



Backstage, "The Gift" Rya Sanders and Mike Anthony meet with Matchmaker King Cobra and Derrick King. Mike Anthony states that the both of them want revenge, saying "either they show up, or I show the hell out."

It is announced that The Slaughterhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick) and The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce and Morrow) have been banned from the building after their actions last week by Matchmaker King Cobra. We then hear from The Slaughterhouse. Reverend Ash Taylor states that being banned from the building will not stop them and that they want The Modern Day Monsters, and that it is up to Matchmaker King Cobra to make it happen. He says that they are coming next week, and that it will not matter if The Modern Day Monsters come prepared.



Muddy Waters (Gio Savage and "The Judge" RJW) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte).



Backstage, Matchmaker King Cobra is on the phone and surrounded by security at the parking lot outside of the WrestleCenter, stating that someone has attacked Big Mama. There are broken bottles on the pavement indicating a brawl recently happened.



Before the next match, Raven Black is seen drinking out of a beer bottle on the way to the ring, strongly implying that she attacked Big Mama in the WrestleCenter parking lot.

Raven Black beats Makkari Kandy with a schoolkid pin after grabbing Makkari's hair.



We see CJ Money thanking someone for letting him stay with them. That someone is CJ Blaine, who is happy to help him, but tells him that he will have to go back home.

We see footage of "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth meeting and greeting the fans at the WrestleCenter.



We hear from VaShawn Harvey, who says that he gave Marko Stunt a taste of what will happen in today's main event and that he will not only put Marko "Hangtime" Harris in the ground, but he will become the new Internet Champion.

Marko Stunt guests on commentary for the next match.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against VaShawn Harvey after VaShawn Harvey wraps his chain around his fist to use as a weapon - much to Marko Stunt's disapproval - only to fall victim to a cutter from top rope by Marko Harris as soon as he gets back in the ring.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 24, 2026

Dustin Starr interviews "Wildfire" Tommy Rich at the announce desk after Tommy Rich greets the fans at the WrestleCenter. Tommy Rich says that the show has been great so far and that he is excited to be here. He says Memphis Wrestling has some of the best wrestling in the country as well as some of the best fans, but as he reminisces, "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason shows up. Mason takes exception to being booed by the fans, and says that Tommy Rich's time as NWA World Champion was a cup of coffee and that it burns him up. He says that Tommy Rich still has the fire in his eyes, but he will put him down like a dog in the street if he faces him. Marko Stunt shows up and tries to reason with him, mentioning their history as well as how Silas Mason changed when he took over NWA, and refuses to let Silas disrespect the legends in this building. Silas asks Marko where he gets off talking to him like that and says that he holds the only world heavyweight championship in wrestling, and that he will not respect anyone in the building until they put respect into him. Marko Stunt says he has somebody in mind who will beat some respect into him today, and Silas Mason says that he will not only defend his title, but that he will put whoever is put in front of him into the ground.



K-Toomer beats CJ Blaine by TKO. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer at the announce desk. K-Toomer says that he has a code of honor, then says he should have won the Grind City Rumble and should have been on track to win the Memphis Heritage Championship. Instead, he has a problem to solve in the form of Big John Dalton, and calls him out so he can knock him out like he did Big Daddy. Big John shows up with a metal folding chair and hits K-Toomer with it, but K-Toomer fights back. Referees, security and members of the locker room have to jump in when the brawl gets into the ring, especially when Big John hits K-Toomer with a Spear. DJ Klaun gets in the ring only to eat a Bam Bam Slam.



We see the janitor who was once one of Major Curtis' recruits partying outside with the WrestleCenter fans.

Dustin Starr interviews Matchmaker King Cobra at the announce desk. King Cobra brings out the Cobra Cup, then announces that there is a new tournament. This time, competitors must win a tag team match, defeat their tag team partner, then take part in a Red vs. Blue finals. King Cobra states that the winner of the Cobra Cup will get the chance at being the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion.



We see footage of "The Judge" RJW getting Gio Savage to consume some chewing tobacco as well as some "Mississippi fire water."

The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) with a schoolkid pin on Lamonte following the distraction by Muddy Waters ("The Judge" RJW and Gio Savage).



We see footage of The Home Town Man and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) with the fans at the WrestleCenter.

Jake Brewer reports that The Shocker, "Livewire" Bobby Ford, "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx, and "The Ember" Shawn Aries are in the Red Bracket of the Cobra Cup Tournament.



Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor at the announce desk. Diana admits she has yet to hear from Su Yung, then ups the ante and makes their Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship match at SuperBout V a Memphis Street Fight.



Main Event Bradley guests on commentary for the next match.

We see footage of "Wildfire" Tommy Rich with Matchmaker King Cobra at the WrestleCenter.



Diana Taylor beats Mama Money after CJ Money's attempt to interfere by grabbing at Diana from the outside backfires.



Jake Brewer reports that Major Curtis, Sevyn Cruz, VaShawn Harvey and CJ Blaine are in the Blue Bracket of the Cobra Cup Tournament.



"Thrillbilly" Silas Mason's opponent is revealed to be Marko "Hangtime" Harris. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich guests on commentary for the next match.

"Thrillbilly" Silas Mason retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Marko "Hangtime" Harris. During the match, senior referee David Knight is knocked out as Silas spins Harris around. Marko Stunt tries to revive the ref only to get grabbed by Silas. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich confronts Silas and hits him with several jabs, then Marko Harris hits Silas with a top rope cutter. Silas kicks out as referee David Knight, who has now come to, slowly makes the count. Marko Harris goes for another top rope cutter, but Silas catches him and slams him to win and retain.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for December 13, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor at the announce desk to start today's show. Diana is glad to have the women's championship back where it belongs, and says that Nyxx lost it so easily that she did not deserve it. As Diana states that there is nobody in the back who can touch her for the belt, Main Event Money (Main Event Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) shows up, and Main Event Bradley states that the only reason Diana is a three-peat champion is because Mama Money was not involved. He calls Mama Money the best women's wrestler in Memphis Wrestling and declares that Mama Money will win the women's title and bring more money to Main Event Money. Diana says that she knows how Main Event Money works and that she has her own friends: Xya Wolfe and Raven Black. Bradley says he feels like beating up women today, and challenges them to a six-person tag match.

Diana Taylor, Xya Wolfe and Raven Black beat Main Event Money (Main Event Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) in a six-person tag match.



Dustin Starr interviews "The Gift" Ray Sanders at the announce desk. Sanders says that the last time he and Simon were in the ring, he piledrived him into chairs in front of friends and family. He says that Simon has been suspended, then rips his neck brace off and says he is looking for a fight. He says he has faced lions, tigers and bears his whole life and has been in all kinds of matches, and he has even beaten Aaron Roberts, and he is not scared of Simon. Simon may have put him down, but he will get back up and face him again. He announces that Matchmaker King Cobra has made it official, and next week, it is him and Simon in a no-disqualification match for the Heritage Championship.



We see a vignette for Major Curtis, who is looking for new soldiers for his platoon in the WrestleCenter. He has somebody do 25 push-ups, then says he will return next week. Meanwhile, someone is watching as they mop the floor. (Major Curtis is actually Jaymes from Special Forces being repackaged.)

"The Gold Standard" Eli Knox guests on commentary for the next match.

"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship against "The Ember" Shawn Aries. After the match, "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox tells Colton Cage that he has only survived him before demanding another title shot. Colton Cage says Eli Knox had his respect, but he threw it all away, then wants to know what Eli Knox has and demands he put something on the line. Eli Knox is left speechless.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) vs. Muddy Waters (Gio Savage and RJW) ends with The Slaughterhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick) beating up both teams. Reverend Ash Taylor demands that they either get The Modern Day Monsters, or else this keeps happening.



"The Problem" Aaron Roberts beats "The Chosen One" Zay Washington by disqualification after Washington hits Roberts with a low blow in full view of the ref after Roberts catches Justin Case's chain. Washington then wraps the chair around Roberts' head and runs him into the ring post before Justin Case handcuffs Roberts to the ring. Washington gives Roberts more of a beating, and Justin Case slaps Roberts in the face. Senior referee David Knight has to call for help and check on Roberts. Justin Case and Zay Washington leave, but Washington returns for one more cheap shot on Roberts.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 29, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The New Wave (Justin Case, "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) at the announce desk. As Justin Case says that there will always be trouble, Aaron Roberts says that for weeks leading into months, he has been hearing the fans call him a failure as well as everything under the sun, but now he is starting to hear it from Justin Case and Zay Washington, and wants to know where Washington was in his most recent match with Ray Ray Sanders. Washington says that ever since "he lost that contract," he has been a failure. (This is a reference to Aaron Roberts being released from his WWE ID contract in August due to his association with KnokX Pro Wrestling following the Raja Jackson-Syko Stu incident.) Justin Case says that things are a little different, and tells Aaron Roberts to fall in line.



We see Makkari Kandy looking back on what happened in her most recent match, saying that she has let The Super Friends (Wonder Boy and The Shocker) down and that everywhere hse looks, she sees J. Webb. She says enough is enough and it is time for a change.



Jerry "The King" Lawler is announced for Milestone 250.



Tim Bosby beats VaShawn Harvey and Oso Suave in a two-on-one handicap match.



Backstage, Justin Case and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington catch up with "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, and this leads to tempers flaring between Roberts and Washington, with Roberts telling Washington to take care of Marko "Hangtime" Harris on his own.



Backstage, Marko "Hangtime" Harris meets up with Marko Stunt. Hangtime meets with Stunt about having him as a manager, but Stunt tells Hangtime he does need him and that he can take care of business himself today.



The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) vs. The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) ends in a no-contest. During the match, K-Toomer charges at one of The Disorderlies only to inadvertently take out Big John Dalton when The Disorderlies shove him into K-Toomer's path, and this leads to K-Toomer and Big John Dalton shoving each other again. Big Daddy, DJ Klaun and security get in the ring to restore order. Big Daddy gets shoved by K-Toomer, and Big John knocks out DJ Klaun, and the match ends in a no-contest as even the locker room has to help out.



Backstage, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) are trying to figure out what to do regarding Gio Savage, RJW and Uncle Elroy. Lamonte says it is "time to call the boys," and cashes in a favor from someone telling him to make sure Gio Savage does not make it to the WrestleCenter.

It is announced by Jake Brewer that "The Gift" Ray Sanders is on concussion protocol and will not be back until 2026, and that Sycho Simon has been fined and suspended indefinitely.



RJW beats The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) in an unplanned two-on-one handicap match. After the match, Uncle Elroy celebrates by dancing all over the ring alongside Muddy Waters.



Marko Stunt guests on commentary for the next match.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats "The Chosen One" Zay Washington to become the Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion! During the match, Justin Case distracts the ref so that Zay Washington can hit Marko Harris with a low blow. He then calls for help in the form of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who then shoves Washington and refuses to help him. Marko hits Washington with a tope suicida, kicks out of a schoolkid pin, then fights back and hits a cutter from the top rope to win the match and the title.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 18, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts, "The Chosen One" Zay Washington, Justin Case) at the announce desk. Zay Washington tells the fans that he told them what was going to happen and that he is now a two-time Internet Champion. Justin Case says that it does not matter how the job was done and that all who matters is who won, then Aaron Roberts says he will take care of his opponent in the ring this week.

"The Problem" Aaron Roberts beats "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who brags about what he did to Justin Credible and Buff Bagwell, then proclaims that he runs Memphis Wrestling and that his reign of terror is just starting.



We see footage of Memphis Wrestling at the Mid-South Fair.



We look back on past editions of the Halloween Spooktacular.



Wonder Boy and The Shocker beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) after Gio Savage distracts Notorious Bradley.



"Livewire" Bobby Ford beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox.



We see footage from costume contests from past editions of the Halloween Spectacular.

We see footage of Samuray del Sol (formerly known as Kalisto in WWE) at Autozone Park as well as at Memphis Wrestling.

Tim Bosby beats Samuray del Sol. After the match, Tim Bosby is attacked from behind by VaShawn Harvey, but Samuray del Sol runs back into the ring and chases him and Oso Suave out of the ring.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for August 16, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts, "The Chosen One" Zay Washington, Justin Case) at the announce desk. Justin Case says they are back on track at beating people up and that they will not stop until they are back where they belong. Aaron Roberts says that since the beginning of Memphis Wrestling, he and Zay Washington have been the measuring stick, and if the fans want to disrespect them, then they can lay out two opponents so they can show what it is about.



The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) beat Special Forces (James and Jayson).



Allie Martin asks fans who will win the Ansley Cup at Rumble on the Trail.

Tony Dabbs last eliminates Sevyn Cruz to win the Rumble Before the Trail and earn a shot at the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship at Tupelo Supershow.



We see J. Webb trying to deal with his jealousy towards Wonderboy and The Shocker before tearing a photo of Makkari Kandy in half.



The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) in a Hustle Hard Match after Xya Wolfe shows up and hits Ellsworth with a low blow followed by a chain for the pin and the win.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats VaShawn Harvey after Oso's plan to introduce a gold chain into the ring backfires due to VaShawn Harvey knocking Oso off the ring apron.



Backstage, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock wants security to protect him and The Hollywood Clique (Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) from The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton).

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service)at the announce desk. "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock immediately calls out Matchmaker King Cobra, and when King Cobra shows up, Blaylock wants something done regarding The Big Manes. Blaylock wants King Cobra to fire The Big Manes, but King Cobra would rather have a match between The Hollywood Clique and The Big Manes, who soon show up. Jay Smooth and Kale brawl with The Big Manes but quickly get overpowered. The Big Manes soon get their hands on the Secret Service agents before K-Toomer is able to grab Blaylock. Jay Smooth, Kale and security get in the ring, and Jay Smooth and Kale get laid out again. Jimmy Blaylock tries to escape, but he is soon stopped by Coach Pillar, who is holding a metal folding chair. Blaylock has to be helped to the back and into a limousine by a Secret Service agent. K-Toomer says it is not over and that all of The Hollywood Clique will be dealt with.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 26, 2025

Pete Pranica guests on commentary for this week.

Dustin Starr interviews Justin Case and The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) at the announce desk. Aaron Roberts states that two weeks ago, they proved that they ran and still run Memphis Wrestling, then says he has put Memphis Wrestling on his back through the United States. When Zay Washington takes the microphone, he and Roberts are attacked by Tim Bosby and Mike Anthony, and security and officials have to restore order. Soon after a video package for The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) vs. The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) and James Ellsworth, Bosby and Anthony are seen shaking hands.



We see video footage of The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) getting into their old Dodge truck and driving off for Battle on the Ballfield at New Albany, Mississippi on August 8th.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) beat The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) after Ellsworth tapes a gold chain to his boot for a superkick on Xya Wolfe as Xya dives off the top rope to the outside.



We hear from Diana Taylor, who says that she has talked to Matchmaker King Cobra and has gotten a match that will allow her to defend the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship and even the odds: a Lights Out Match.

At the announce desk, Dustin Starr interviews "The Gift" Ray Sanders, who says that VaShawn Harvey has cost him the Junior Heritage Championship and that he is done playing around and wants a fight. VaShawn Harvey shows up, and this starts an impromptu match.

"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats VaShawn Harvey by count-out in an impromptu match that goes into the crowd as well as the box seats.



Nixi XS beats Diana Taylor in a Lights Out Match to become the Memphis Wrestling Women's Champion after throwing a bracelet onto the mat so that she can distract the referee, poke Diana in the eye and hit the DDT to win the match and the title.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews Big John Dalton. Suddenly, K-Toomer shows up, grabs the microphone, tells Jake to leave, and warns The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale) that it is "on sight" and that he will beat the shit out of all of them.



The New Wave ("The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) beat Tim Bosby and Mike Anthony following the distraction by Justin Case.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 28, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Mike Anthony at the announce desk. Anthony says he has been champion for so long that he has lost count of how long, and he plans to be Internet Champion for a year before stating that his reign will be forever.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against The Shocker. Both men have a moment of good sportsmanship after the match.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews "The Chosen One" Zay Washington. Washington takes the microphone and says that Marko "Hangtime" Harris cannot keep his nose out of his business, and that he was proving he was the best of the best until he interfered. He tells Marko that if he wants his moment, all he has to do is come and find him, and he will make sure he gets his moment.



The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) after Xya Wolfe pulls Reggie B. Fine off the ring apron and slaps him after he piefaces her. After the match, The L.A. Hustlers attack The Bizness Dawgs from behind while Reggie B. Fine keeps Xya Wolfe in the corner.



We see footage of Tim Bosby with the WrestleCenter faithful before the show.



Tim Bosby beats "The King of Poww" Chris Lexx by submission with the ankle lock.



Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor - who is wearing sunglasses that hide the fact that she has been blinded - at the announce desk. Diana says that while her eye is getting better, she has some light sensitivity and has to wear sunglasses and use eye drops, and she has no idea when she will be cleared to compete. Mathcmaker King Cobra shows up and says that Diana has been unable to defend the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship within 30 days. Diana says that she will defend the title in any way she can, and asks him to talk it out with her before stripping her of the title.



We see footage of someone training at the WrestleCenter. This person will debut next week.



Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage beats Vashawn Harvey to become the inaugural Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Champion! During the match, Vashawn Harvey shoves Colton Cage into the corner and into referee David Knight. As Oso takes off his gold chain, he is confronted by "The Gift" Ray Sanders, and that allows Colton Cage to hit the Cold Hearted Cutter to win the match and the title. After the match, Derrick King personally awards Colton Cage with the Junior Heritage Championship.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 31, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. GunShow says he has taken care of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington, then says that whoever wants some can come get some. All of a sudden, Sycho Simon suddenly shows up and slowly approaches the announce desk, then he grabs Dustin's fist along with the microphone and tells him to put his money where his mouth is regarding fighting anybody in the locker room. Simon and The GunShow brawl at the announce desk, then both men grab metal folding chairs before Matchmaker King Cobra shows up with referees and security. King Cobra calls for an end to the brawling and says they can have this match right here, right now, today, anything goes and with the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship on the line.

Sycho Simon beats "The GunShow" Brett Michaels in a no rules match to become the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion after hitting GunShow in the face with his spiked shoulder pad. After the match, Simon celebrates by tearing up a pro-GunShow sign before leaving through the lobby the same way he arrived.



Makkari Kandy and J. Webb beat Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett in a mixed tag match with a submission hold from J. Webb to KJ Rockett.



Dustin Starr interviews Scorpio Sky at the announce desk. Scorpio admits that while he usually calls every town he goes to the worst he has ever been in, he has a soft spot for Memphis, saying the city has changed his mind and that he is here to show the fans that everything they have heard about him is true. As he says that he is the best, Justin Case, "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington show up, and Washington says he is tired of people from other cities showing up claiming they are the best. Washington says he is the best and that if Scorpio is the best like he claims, then he has to prove it. Scorpio challenges Washington a match next week, and Washington accepts.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx, who has not been seen in Memphis Wrestling for quite some time (mostly due to being in Bluff City Wrestling and winning the Southern Heavyweight Championship there).



We hear from "Hangtime" Marko Harris, who says that while he has proved he is a top player, he has not proved that he is the best, and he plans to change that by challenging "The Problem" Aaron Roberts to a match.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) vs. The Big Manes (Big John Dalton and K-Toomer) for the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships ends in a no-contest after The Big Manes are attacked by The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service). The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) show up and fight The L.A. Hustlers to the back as The Hollywood Clique attack The Big Manes with pipes, chairs and even Jimmy Blaylock's cane before striking K-Toomer in the head with a chair and celebrating with the tag team titles to end the show.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for March 8, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. He says it has been a wild ride for him in Memphis Wrestling, but he has to know if he can beat K-Toomer. K-Toomer shows up, and Big John Dalton says he knows he can beat him, but there is only one way to find out. K-Toomer tells Big John not to step up to a fight with doubt in his mind, and to make sure this is what he wants, as this will be a life lesson. Suddenly, The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service) shows up, and Jimmy Blaylock says he is so happy because Van Viciouss is gone and he is Manager of the Year three years straight. He says fat people suck and that K-Toomer and Big John are the fattest in Memphis Wrestling. K-Toomer says Blaylock looks like he has sleep apnea, then wants to see if Big John Dalton can earn his respect and throw down in a tag team match. Big John accepts, and Blaylock says "I'm not scared of you" at K-Toomer while still calling him fat.

Marko Harris beats Tim Bosby follow a series of pinfall attempts. After the match, Marko Harris wants to shake Bosby's hand, but Tim Bosby, slighted at how the match ended and feeling that he kicked out at two (to which the crowd agrees, as does Dustin Starr after the commercial break), walks away.



We hear from Big Nasty Phil, who admits that he did not expect "Main Event" Bradley to turn on him after the last two years after all they have done and blame him for everything. He says Bradley was getting pinned 95% of the time and that next week, it will be a Skimahorn family reunion, and he will pull the belt off and beat Bradley within an inch of his life.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal). After the match, Matchmaker King Cobra shows up and says The L.A. Hustlers would go down in history and that he has the perfect match for them after talking with Matt Hardy: Memphis Wrestling's first-ever ladder match for the tag team titles.



Backstage, "Lil' Homie" Lance meets with Tim Grind and says The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) should not get away with what they did to Flex. Tim Grind says The L.A. Hustlers will get what they deserve and to stay the course, then Xya Wolf shows up and thanks them for the help at SuperBout. Tim Grind says he sees her potential and that he and Lance will have her back in the future.



We hear from "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who says that the WWE ID program is running the world, and while superstars are making a name for themselves, he tells everyone not to forget about him after how he made an impact at the WWN Supershow. He invites all comers to Memphis so he can prove he is the baddest man on both sides of the Mississippi.



Before the next match, Nixi XS shows up with a Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship belt (which is bigger than Diana's) decorated with pink trim.

Diana Taylor retains the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship against Nixi XS by disqualification after Nixi hits Diana in the head with her own bedazzled version of the Women's Championship.



CJ Blaine meets with CJ Money. CJ Blaine tells CJ Money that he is a full grown man and not a mama's boy when CJ Money says that he loves his mother he has to do what his mother tells him, then CJ Money has to hide CJ Blaine when Mama Money suddenly shows up. Mama Money chews CJ Money out for squandering influences and running off, and tells him that either the bad influences stop or he will make him go get a switch.



We see members-only footage of Derrick King's standing ovation after his final match.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who brags about beating Derrick King and then says that if he has to take the house down brick by brick and board by board, he will do it. He calls out of the rest of the locker room, and says it is about time to set Memphis on fire.



K-Toomer and Big John Dalton beat The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth) after a hooded Van Viciouss stops "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock from using a folding chair as a weapon, hitting Jay Smooth with the chair and chasing Blaylock out of the WrestleCenter. K-Toomer and Big John Dalton shake hands after the match to end the show.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 25, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews AJ Francis at the announce desk. He calls Joe Hendry and Big John Dalton "a consequence of their own actions" for messing with him, then introduces his own "Million Dolla Championship" and proclaims "the biggest, baddest mane in Memphis." He says that Big John Dalton deserves nothing due to getting all his support from the fans, then Big John Dalton shows up and says Memphis Wrestling is his house before mentioning his 2024 accomplishments. After calling AJ Francis out for his actions at the Grind City Rumble, he challenges him to a match. Francis tells Big John Dalton he knows nothing about money, and tells him he is "too broke" to be Million Dolla Champion and to keep money on his mind before hitting him with the belt.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Morrow) after Barnabas shows up to call out "Reverend" Ash Taylor and after a woman in a leather mask made of faces shows up and snaps Jackson Crowley out of Sister Asa's trance.



We hear from Violent J, who says he is here to make Juggalo Championship Wrestling's presence known by bringing its Tag Team Champions - JP and Tommy Grayson - The Backseat Boys - to the ring for in-ring action next week.



We hear from Draco, who brags about crushing Gio Savage's championship dreams before declaring that their war has just begun. He says that Savage and the whole world will know why he is who he says he is.



"The Problem" Aaron Roberts quickly retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championsip against Allister. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Justin Case at the announced desk. He says that Roberts cannot be controlled because he is angry and that the fans make his angry, and says that this is an example of what will happen to "The GunShow" Brett Michaels. As the fans chant for GunShow, Roberts says the chants will only make things worse for him, then says that the Heritage Championship makes him the best in Memphis. He says that GunShow has him at Superbout, but it will not be sunshine and rainbows until then.



We hear from Big Nasty Phil and "Main Event" Bradley. Phil says that they will get a shot at the Juggalo Championship Wrestling Tag Team Championships and they will destroy "[Violent J's] boys." Bradley says that they are "done with these clowns," then takes a drink of orange Faygo before spitting it out in a nearby trash can.



Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor at the announce desk. Diana Taylor calls the Championship Scramble Match for the Women's title was very competitive and that the other women in the match deserve their flowers as well, then Erica Torres shows up. Torres calls "Diarrhea Taylor" a crook and a shyster who paid off the referee and claims that the fans personally witnessed her be the first to jump on and pin C-Rex before Makkari Kandy and J. Webb show up. Makkari says she was also part of the pin and that she wants a title shot as well, then Xya Wolf shows up also wanting a title shot.



Next week: The Cobra Cup tournament begins with two Fatal 4-Way matches - a Blue Match and a Red Match. The winners of these matches will face off for the cup at Superbout.



We see footage of Joe Hendry with the fans at the WrestleCenter.

Erica Torres beats Makkari Kandy and Xya Wolfe by submission with a modified single leg crab on Makkari Kandy.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who says that there is a still heart left in Derrick King's body and that if there is to be a match, there must be no rules and only a pinfall. He tells Derrick King to bring everything he has, because he is going to kill him, pin him and get rid of him forever.



Big John Dalton beats AJ Francis with a schoolkid pin after K-Toomer shows up with a box of Cheez-its and starts throwing bags of Cheez-its to the fans.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 4, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service) at the announce desk. Jimmy Blaylock addresses being taunted with Twinkies by the fans by saying he has never had a Twinkie in his life, then says there have been a lot of tag teams in the past that have made it big and that he will have the best tag team in professional wrestling. He says that his team will take on anybody, including The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont), and that he wants the tag team titles right now.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth) after they whip Ray Collins and Jay Smooth into each other. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers at the announce desk. Lamont tells Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) to look who is still on the streets and who is now standing on the sidewalks, and Bradley says that the streets have love for on one and demands that Dustin Starr declare that they are "his boys."



We hear from The O'Neal Brothers (Devin and Steven O'Neal), who say that they have the longest win streak in Memphis Wrestling and plant to ride that wave into 2025. They say that "O'Neals rule" is a statement and that they prove why they do just that.



It is revealed that a limo has pulled up to the WrestleCenter. AJ Francis steps out of the limo, and re-introduces himself as "The King of Memphis," stating that he is back to win the Grind City Rumble, as it is time that he got more championship gold.



We see footage of Coach Pillar running for St. Jude.



Dustin Starr interviews AJ Francis at the announce desk. AJ Francis says that Memphis is a backwater town that he hates to go to because the fans hate him, then shows off his T-shirt, which makes fun of Joe Hendry, and says he is back to win the Grind City Rumble. He not only declares that he will enter the Rumble, but that he will win the Rumble and make sure Joe Hendry does not win it, as he deserves none of his accolades and has ridden coattails from beginning to end. He mocks the fans again, then says that like death and taxes, he is undeniable. As for the other participants in the Grind City Rumble, he is going to win the Rumble no matter who is in it before mocking the fans even more. He then addresses the "You suck" chants by proclaiming that the only thing that sucks in Memphis is the Memphis Grizzlies.



CJ Money is brought in by his mother, who demands that CJ Money be given more respect in Memphis Wrestling, and says she is not moving until she speaks to who is in charge. CJ Money is completely embarrassed.



We see footage of Big Dan asking the fans who will win the Grind City Rumble.



Gio Savage beats "The Walking Red Flag" Colton Cage after Colton Cage takes too long on the top rope.



Dustin Starr interviews Barnabas the Ringmaster at the announce desk. Barnabas says he has been away for a long time because he did not think anybody wanted him here, and he thought The Twins of Salem would be better off without him. He realized he was wrong and that he has failed The Twins. He blames Reverend Ash Taylor for The Righteous Path (Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, Marrow, Sister Asa) getting into his head, and The Righteous Path soon shows up. After the commercial break, Reverend Ash Taylor calls Barnabas a cockroach, and when he tells the fans to shut up, Barnabas goes off on them. Taylor calls the fans freaks and says that his words are as empty as his future. He tells Barnabas that he will follow The Righteous Path or he will be buried six feet other. Barnabas says he has had enough of Ash Taylor and calls him a chicken. Brother Bruce sneaks up on Barnabas and grabs him from behind, and while Bruce fights back despite not being a wrestler, the numbers game takes over, and Reverend Ash Taylor hits Barnabas in the stomach with his red shinai. Ash Taylor then hooks Barnabas with the shinai with a Russian leg sweep, then The Righteous Path leaves.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who says that Ray Ray Sanders wants to run in like a knight in shining armor and save the day, then says that if he really was his friend, he would have been there at the retirement ceremony. He says Ray Ray Sanders is no friend of Derrick and just wants to be like him, and for that, he will put him through a table and into the back of a hearse.



Diana Taylor beats C-Rex, Nixi XS, Makkari Kandy, Xya Wolfe and Erica Torres in a Championship Scramble to win the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship for a second time after everyone piles onto C-Rex for a pinfall attempt after Diana Taylor hits C-Rex with the DDT.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for December 7, 2024

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. GunShow says that "The Problem" Aaron Roberts is running around signing contracts, but keeps ducking the contract for the Heritage title match at Milestone 200. He says he has signed, but Roberts is ducking him, and now, he is going to handle business with Matchmaker King Cobra. King Cobra says he has done everything he can and does not know what else to do, and states there is no stipulation that he says can force Roberts to sign. King Cobra says he can suspend Roberts, but GunShow would have to fight his way from the bottom up again. Roberts says he will defend the title when he feels like it and that he has better things to do, and GunShow says either Roberts will sign the contract, or he will make him sign it.



Backstage, Diana Taylor meets with Makkari Kandy and J. Webb, saying they have a big match today.



The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Marrow) beats The Twins of Salem (Jacksyn Crowley and Abel Booker) after Sister Asa distracts Jacksyn Crowley in the corner.

We see footage of Big John Dalton training for the Grind City Rumble.



We hear from Colton Cage, who says it is a beautiful day to be a beautiful day and that he is ready for action today.

Dustin Starr interviews Butterbean at the announce desk. Butterbean says Memphis is "where real wrestling started" and talks about the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson fight, saying it was "more of a punching bag match." As he claims that Jake Paul refuses to fight him, "Main Event" Bradley - dressed like Butterbean - and Big Nasty Phil show up. Bradley says Butterbean may be a legend, but there are three men he cannot knock out - Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, and himself. Bradley says that he is coming for Butterbean and knows that he can put him on the ground, then Big John Dalton shows up for the next match. Butterbean guests on commentary.



Big John Dalton beats "Main Event" Bradley after Bradley confronts Butterbean at the announce desk only to get knocked out.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) beat CJ Squared (CJ Money and CJ Blaine). After the match, Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers at the announce desk, demanding that they leave the tag team titles at the desk. They refuse, claiming to have beaten Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) and shoving Dustin before Too Kool II show up and start a brawl. Referees, officials and even Matchmaker King Cobra show up to break up the brawl, and King Cobra makes a Hustle Hard match between the two teams for Milestone 200 before confiscating the tag team titles, which will be on the line for the match.



Colton Cage beats Kale. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Colton Cage at the announce desk. Colton says he has put another soul down with Cupid's Arrow, then says it was more than a victory; it was a statement. He then says he is ready for the Grind City Rumble.



Backstage, we hear from Tim Bosby, who says that he watched Jonathan Gresham's matches with Zack Sabre Jr. as he was coming up and that he will give Gresham everything has while knowing Gresham will give him even more. He says that he is focused not just on Gresham, but the Grind City Rumble, which he plans to win.



Nixi XS and C-Rex beat Diana Taylor and Makkari Kandy.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for September 28, 2024

Dustin Starr interviews "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and Justin Case at the announce desk. Justin Case states that all that matters at the end of the night is that Aaron Roberts is still Heritage Champion, then mentions Roberts winning all of the other titles in Memphis Wrestling before saying there is nothing anyone can do about Roberts being champion. Roberts threatens to slap everyone in the WrestleCenter if they continue to chant "egg sucking dog." Justin mentions that "The GunShow" Brett Michaels and K-Toomer are fighting each other, then says they are done with them and that they will get no more title shots. Roberts tells GunShow and K-Toomer they can do the three-way dance all they want, but says they must be sick and tired of getting in each other's way. Roberts then says GunShow and K-Toomer can continue to fight each other while he moves on to bigger and better things. Justin Case says he does not care if GunShow and K-Toomer are here and potentially have something to say about it.



Backstage, Ray Ray Sanders talks with Derrick King about their recent match with Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) when Tim Grind shows up, saying "it is what it is" and that they will do what it takes to stay champion and that Too Kool II will make it up to them, then takes offense to Ray Ray talking about Too Kool II and tells him that he will see him in the ring.



Tim Bosby retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "Main Event" Bradley in a Tim Bosby Invitational Match. Ron Justice is the championship official for this match.



We see footage of Memphis Wrestling - and Robert Gibson of The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) - at the Mid-South Fair.



At the WrestleCenter, the woman who found the Righteous Path (Reverend Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, Marrow) pamphlet last week asks Big Dan if there is any way to see Reverend Ash Taylor. A befuddled Big Dan says he will see what he can do.



Gio Savage beats "The Walking Red Flag" Colton Cage.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who says that the last has been seen of J. Webb and that nobody knows who will be next before throwing J. Webb's teddy bear Lucy into a trash can. Suddenly, someone picks Lucy up from out of the trash.



Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer at the announce desk. K-Toomer announces he has a lot to say, but actions speak louder than words. He says the fans saw what happened to him and that he wants the Heritage Championship, but this is bigger than that. He then calls "The GunShow" Brett Michaels so he can knock him out. Justin Case shows up with Big Dan and security, and K-Toomer threatens to beat up Justin Case. Justin tells K-Toomer that his problem is with GunShow, and tells him not to worry about Aaron Roberts, then GunShow shows up. Justin says he is telling the truth and that "The Problem" Aaron Roberts has moved on, then tells K-Toomer and GunShow to fight among themselves. Matchmaker King Cobra shows up and announces that next week, K-Toomer and GunShow will face each other to decide a #1 contender for the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) beat The New Guys (Jake Bosche and Scott Stanley). After the match, Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers at the announce desk. Lamonte says they are not in consideration for the tag team titles because of Dustin Starr's "buddy system" with Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders, and Bradley says they want their title shot against Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex).



We hear from Ray Collins, who says that everyone's goal is to sign a big money contract, and while people have called him a sell-out, a jerk and an asshole, he is "a rich asshole." He says the fans may not like it, but he does not care.



Tim Grind beats Ray Ray Sanders with a schoolkid pin while grabbing the tights after Flex grabs Ray Ray Sanders from the outside and Derrick King confronts Flex.



We see more footage and photos from Memphis Wrestling's show at the Mid-South Fair.

C-Rex beats Mackenzie Morgan to become the Memphis Wrestling Women's Champion, ending Mackenzie Morgan's run as the champion at 392 days. After the match, C-Rex hands the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship to Nixi XS. Wes Adams is the championship official for this match.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for September 7, 2024

The Righteous Path ("Reverend" Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, Marrow) is seen approaching the WrestleCenter.

Dustin Starr interviews Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) at the announce desk. Flex says that people can say what they want to say, but they are tag team champions once again. Before he can say much else, Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders show up. Derrick King congratulates Too Kool II, then wants a shot at the tag team titles. All of a sudden, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Roughshot Lamont) show up, with Lamont saying they have beaten Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders. The Twins of Salem (Jacksyn Crowley and Abel Booker) also show up, wanting a piece of the tag team title action.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who tells J. Webb that he does not care about Lucy and that if J. Webb wants Lucy, he will have to take Lucy.



Tim Bosby retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Draco in an open challenge.



We see some footage from Tater Town Throwdown in Gleason, Tennessee.



Diana Taylor catches Lord Gaston in Makkari Kandy's candy bowl, and Gaston calls her a "dirty bird" and "a witch." When Makkari shows up, Gaston flees.

We hear from Matchmaker King Cobra, who creates an eight-man tag team match of Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) and the team of Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders vs. The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Roughshot Lamont) and The Twins of Salem (Jacksyn Crowley and Abel Booker) following the events at the start of the show.



Big John Dalton beats JT Williams, then celebrates with the fans after the match.



We hear from K-Toomer, who says it is not over between him and "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts while warning "The GunShow" Brett Michaels to stay out of his business. He says that he is coming for the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship.



Diana Taylor and Makkari Kandy beat Lord Gaston in a two-on-one handicap match.



Backstage, Zaya interviews Big John Dalton, who says that he will be defending the Dirty Bird Championship, which he has again this year, on his return to Ingomar High School. He is suddenly attacked by "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn and Big Nasty Phil, and Bradley hits Big John Dalton with a sledgehammer before stealing the Dirty Bird Championship. Big Nasty Phil gets his turn with the sledgehammer on a now-bloodied Big John Dalton outside the building before he and Bradley handcuff Big John to a handrail and dent the Dirty Bird Championship's front plate with the sledgehammer.



"The Walking Red Flag" Colton Cage beats Luke Justice.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Roughshot Lamont) and The Twins of Salem (Jacksyn Crowley and Abel Booker) beat Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex), Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders in an eight-man tag team match after Lamont shoves Ray Ray Sanders off the top rope, allowing Notorious Bradley to hit a splash for the win.



The Righteous Path ("Reverend" Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, Marrow) show up, and Brother Bruce and Marrow kneel at Ash Taylor's sides as Ash Taylor speaks at his podium, saying he has tried to save everyone and has brought souls to absolution only for everyone to become heretics. He then says he will have to make a martyr out of the worst of them, and demands the biggest cigarette-smoking, beer-swilling person they can find so he can bring them to absolution before praying for that person's soul. Suddenly, a mysterious figure with cigarette in hand is seen outside of the WrestleCenter. This figure puts out a cigarette in the parking lot, then enters the WrestleCenter, gets some beer, and heads to the ring after someone hands him a Singapore cane. This figure is The Sandman, and The Righteous Path get in the ring with him only for Brother Bruce and Marrow to get caned, and Reverend Ash Taylor steps up only to get struck down.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 6, 2024

We see footage of both AJ Francis and NZO outside of the WrestleCenter before the show.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels beats "The Walking Red Flag" Colton Cage. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Brett Michaels at the announce desk. Brett says he is fine with K-Toomer not needing him to have his back, as he did not want to, even though the odds were against him and he has something that belongs to him. He says he will not watch K-Toomer's back anymore, but he is coming for his title.





Backstage, Justin Case is irritated by the cameraman focused on them, and "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts says that if everyone thought he was a problem before, he and Justin Case are an even bigger problem now.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) beat The O'Neal Brothers (Devin and Steven O'Neal).



Backstage, Big John Dalton meets with Matchmaker King Cobra regarding a shot at the Internet Championship. King Cobra tells Big John Dalton to get some singles wins under his belt first. Meanwhile, J. Webb is spying on them.

Backstage, Terrence Ward interviews "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock. Blaylock says that Van Viciouss is making movies, and on the subject of Mike Anthony, Blaylock says that he has a great plan and that his Secret Service knows what he is talking about, and that everyone else will soon find out what it is.

Dustin Starr interviews The Nyxx Network (Sir Matthew and Lord Gaston), who pretend to be Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) as Sir Matthew proclaims to be better than Tim Grind. He also says that Too Kool II will relinquish their tag team title shot after Matthew and Gaston emasculated them. Dustin Starr becomes visibly annoyed with the both of them.



It is announced that Mackenzie Morgan has sustained a head injury after last week and will be monitored in the coming weeks, and that she will be wrestling again after being medically cleared.



Backstage, we see "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn, Big Nasty Phil and Raven Black steal all of Makkari Kandy's candy from her candy bowl, which is left out on a counter. Makkari soon finds out, as well as "Dangerous" Diana Taylor.

"The Chosen One" Zay Washington, "All The Way" Ray Collins and Makkari Kandy beat "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn, Big Nasty Phil and Raven Black in a six-person tag match.



We see cryptic black-and-white footage of Marrow hitting himself with a shinai and tying himself to a tree.

Backstage, Luke Justice meets with Assistant Matchmaker Michael regarding getting back in the ring with Sycho Simon, and gets the match. Meanwhile, J. Webb is spying on them.

Before the next match, security lines the path to the ring so that Sycho Simon cannot attack the crowd.

Sycho Simon beats Luke Justice. After the match, security makes sure that Simon is escorted to the back.



We see Jay Smooth trying to get in touch with "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock.

We see Ray Ray Sanders trying to avoid Derrick King at the WrestleCenter. Derrick finally catches up to him, saying that they are a team and wants to know if they are with it or not. Both men shake hands.



Dustin Starr interviews AJ Francis at the announce desk. AJ Francis re-introduces himself to the WrestleCenter crowd and that he is here because he has been paid a lot of money, then says he is in a giving mood. He issues an open challenge to anyone who thinks they are hard enough to face him. He also puts the TNA Digital Media Championship on the line due to having been paid enough, and the open challenge is answered by NZO. AJ Francis asks NZO if he knows who he is talking to and that he has more credible street cred than NZO does in addition to six years in the NFL, and says that he is "really hard right now" when NZO claims he is "sawft," saying "I'm so hard...I"m hard right now." NZO reminds him that this is a family show and tells him to get in the ring and defend the title. Referees and security have to keep AJ Francis from getting near NZO, who somehow manages to get the TNA Digital Media Championship in his hands and tells Francis that if he puts it on the line, he will fight him tonight.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 15, 2024

Pete Pranica guests on commentary this week.

Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer at the announce desk. K-Toomer says the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship is not going anywhere anytime soon, even as The Circuz (Barnabas the Ringmaster, Maurice the Strong, Jacksyn Crowley, Abel Booker) sticks their noses in his business. He tells "The GunShow" Brett Michaels that he appreciates his help, but he did not need it, and that he knows they are about their business, that it is all about the Heritage Championship, and that he wants to have their championship match the right way this time. K-Toomer then tells Brett Michaels to be ready, because he will be ready as well. He then re-addresses The Circuz, saying he has something that will put them out of business moving forward, and while The Circuz has the numbers game, if and when he needs a partner, he will pick that. He tells Brett Michaels that he appreciates the help again, but reminds him that they have bigger business in the Heritage Championship.

In the WrestleCenter parking lot, Kid Kash catches up with Tommy Dreamer, then finds out he is needed at the announce desk.



Dustin Starr interviews Kid Kash at the announce desk. Kid Kash says he has been travelling around and staying busy keeping up with the light heavyweight scene, and says that he has been retired since 2015 and would only come back if there is true competition out there for him. He also says he is here because he has heard that some of the best light heavyweights are being trained here, then says he will be at the announce desk to scout talent, and if anybody impresses him, they just might get a challenge.



We see Ray Ray Sanders training with some ropes in the WrestleCenter when Derrick King shows up. Ray Ray blames Derrick for their recent losses and says he is a big joke, and tells him to either step up or step aside.



"The Chosen One" Zay Washington beats "The Walking Red Flag" Colton Cage.



We see some odd monochrome footage of a professional wrestler alongside footage of an erupting volcano and alligator teeth.



We see footage of "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock holding open backstage auditions for The Hollywood Clique as Van Viciouss is out shooting a movie. One of the people to try out is Jay Smooth. Blaylock is unimpressed with Jay Smooth, but someone else in the distance catches his eye, and he has one of his Secret Service agents flag them down. That someone is Mike Anthony.



Just Jodie beats Raven Black with a schoolkid pin after Raven Black gets caught using the middle rope for leverage during a pinfall attempts and argues with the referee.



Dustin Starr interviews The Nyxx Network (Sir Matthew and Lord Gaston) at the announce desk as part of a Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championship celebration. Matt says he is proud of himself and that while he has a very hot wife and three beautiful children, being a tag team champion with Lord Gaston is the happiest thing in his life, and says that they are so good at being champion, Pete Pranica can ride on their coattails, as the Memphis Grizzlies will never win an NBA Championship. Lord Gaston says he could not be happier than being a tag team champion again before making fun of Big John Dalton and proclaiming that nobody can beat them and that they will be tag team champions forever. As Sir Matthew proclaims that there is nobody in the locker room who can beat them, Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) show up. Tim Grind hopes that Matthew and Gaston got the celebration out of their system and that they had a lot of fun, because Too Kool II are the number one contenders to their titles and they cannot wait to take their titles off their waists and put them back where they belong, as they look a little frail to be carrying them around. Flex says they have held tag team gold in Memphis wrestling history for over a year and have held tag team gold five times in all, and they are about to make it six. He also proposes that they can do this right now. Matthew and Gaston decline.



It is revealed that Kid Kash has been attacked in the WrestleCenter parking lot by Sycho Simon, who is seen in the distance.



Backstage, "All The Way" Ray Collins meets with Assistant Matchmaker Michael about getting a match. As Michael says he has to bounce the idea off Matchmaker King Cobra, Jay Smooth shows up wanting a match so he can win and impress "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock. As this goes on, J. Webb is seen watching from behind the door. Michael then makes a match between Ray Collins and Jay Smooth official.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) beat The Top Gunz (Brandon Beretta and Joey Vinetti).



We hear from Tim Bosby, who says that he had "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts dead to rights in the middle of the ring when he made him tap out, but Justin Case got involved and the next thing he knew, Roberts cheated him with a belt shot to the skull. Bosby demands one more shot at the Internet Championship from Roberts with no shenanigans.



"The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts and Justin Case show up, and Justin Case demands an opponent for Roberts while he guests on commentary despite the two of them not being on today's card, as he says that they are not playing around and they will show why Tim Bosby is undeserving of another title shot. Luke Justice shows up, and as soon as he gets in the ring, Roberts attacks him while Justin Case keeps talking on the microphone while pretending Luke Justice is Tim Bosby.

"The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts beats Luke Justice. After the match, Roberts hits Justice with the Problem Bomb, then powerbombs him in the center of the ring before telling Tim Bosby that he will have to earn another shot at the Internet Championship.



Dustin Starr interviews Tommy Dreamer at the announce desk. Dreamer mentions Kid Kash being jumped by Sycho Simon in the parking lot, then demands a match with Simon in the ring. When told that Simon is banned from entering the WrestleCenter for his actions as of late, Dreamer proposes a Parking Lot Brawl, saying he is here to chew gum and whoop that trick, and he is going to whoop that trick. Dreamer leaves and heads to the parking lot to look for Sycho Simon, but he is soon attacked from behind by Simon. This leads to a parking lot brawl, and Dreamer wraps a chain around Simon's neck before dragging him into the WrestleCenter. The brawl soon makes its way to the ring, and while Dreamer has the upper hand, Simon eventually overpowers him and elbow drops Dreamer as he is lying on a metal folding chair in the middle of the ring.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 1, 2024

The stranger in the fur coat with the walking stick has made it to the WrestleCenter.

Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer at the announce desk. K-Toomer says that he carries the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship with pride as he has went through so much to get it and that he will not duck anybody, then Barnabas The Ringmaster shows up. Barnabas tells K-Toomer that he will not get rid of him and The Circuz (Barnabas, Maurice The Strong, Jacksyn Crowley, Abel Booker) that easily, and that for everything he has done to them, it will never be over until he says it is, and that the time of "K-Toomer's lie" is about to come to an abrupt end. Barnabas says K-Toomer's eternal damnation is about to begin before he introduces The Circuz's newest member: The man in the fur coat with the walking stick, whom Barnabas calls "The Eternal One" and the "Red Leg of Death." The man then comes out of his fur coat and reveals himself to a hirsute, unkempt wild man who Barnabas calls Herzog. Herzog and K-Toomer brawl, and when Barnabas distracts K-Toomer, Herzog hits K-Toomer with a chair.



Dustin Starr interviews Brooklyn Brawler, who shows up with J. Webb, at the announce desk. The Brooklyn Brawler says he is here for one reason and one reason only: to see a Memphis brawl. He says that where he comes from, people break arms and legs and that wrestling moves don't matter, and that he wants to see a brawl today.



"Main Event" Brad Skimahorn beats J. Webb in a Memphis Brawl. During the match, Bradley and Big Nasty Phil try to put J. Webb in a straitjacket, and after The Brooklyn Brawler puts a stop to that and takes out Phil, Bradley hits J. Webb with a foreign object and hides the evidence to get the win.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorius Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) as well as the team of Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders are seen outside of the WrestleCenter, ready for their Hustle Hard Match.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorius Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) beat Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders in a Hustle Hard Match after Bradley pins Derrick King by putting a chair on top of him and sitting on it while choking Derrick with the chair.



It is revealed that "Righteous" Ryan Rembrandt and Brother Bruce have been attacked backstage, and that "The GunShow" Brett Michaels has laid them both out.



We see footage of Buff Bagwell with Big John Dalton. Buff tells Big John that next week will be the biggest match of his career and that he will teach him the Buff Blockbuster, then finds out that Big John's new partner is here.



King Cobra and Michael beat The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and Van Viciouss) to keep their respective jobs of Matchmaker and Assistant Matchmaker for Memphis Wrestling.



We hear from Tim Bosby, who says that he will win the Internet Championship for the third time, and that he will Bos-Plex Aaron Roberts, take his title and prove he is nothing more than an egg sucking dog. We then find out he is squatting with a whole person on his shoulders.



We also hear from "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts and Justin Case. Roberts says he has beaten Tim Bosby twice for the Internet title and that he will beat him for a third time.



Before the next match, an angry Reverend Ash Taylor tells Brett Michaels every opportunity to join The Righteous Path only to be insulted and disrespected at every turn, and now Marrow will splatter him all over the WrestleCenter and hurt him in every way imaginable.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels beats Marrow despite Reverend Ash Taylor's interference when Ash Taylor holds Brett Michaels down for a big boot only for Brett to dodge it and Marrow to kick Ash Taylor in the face again. Brett then hits the GunShow Lariat for the win.
