Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for March 8, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. He says it has been a wild ride for him in Memphis Wrestling, but he has to know if he can beat K-Toomer. K-Toomer shows up, and Big John Dalton says he knows he can beat him, but there is only one way to find out. K-Toomer tells Big John not to step up to a fight with doubt in his mind, and to make sure this is what he wants, as this will be a life lesson. Suddenly, The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service) shows up, and Jimmy Blaylock says he is so happy because Van Viciouss is gone and he is Manager of the Year three years straight. He says fat people suck and that K-Toomer and Big John are the fattest in Memphis Wrestling. K-Toomer says Blaylock looks like he has sleep apnea, then wants to see if Big John Dalton can earn his respect and throw down in a tag team match. Big John accepts, and Blaylock says "I'm not scared of you" at K-Toomer while still calling him fat.

Marko Harris beats Tim Bosby follow a series of pinfall attempts. After the match, Marko Harris wants to shake Bosby's hand, but Tim Bosby, slighted at how the match ended and feeling that he kicked out at two (to which the crowd agrees, as does Dustin Starr after the commercial break), walks away.

We hear from Big Nasty Phil, who admits that he did not expect "Main Event" Bradley to turn on him after the last two years after all they have done and blame him for everything. He says Bradley was getting pinned 95% of the time and that next week, it will be a Skimahorn family reunion, and he will pull the belt off and beat Bradley within an inch of his life.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal). After the match, Matchmaker King Cobra shows up and says The L.A. Hustlers would go down in history and that he has the perfect match for them after talking with Matt Hardy: Memphis Wrestling's first-ever ladder match for the tag team titles.

Backstage, "Lil' Homie" Lance meets with Tim Grind and says The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) should not get away with what they did to Flex. Tim Grind says The L.A. Hustlers will get what they deserve and to stay the course, then Xya Wolf shows up and thanks them for the help at SuperBout. Tim Grind says he sees her potential and that he and Lance will have her back in the future.

We hear from "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who says that the WWE ID program is running the world, and while superstars are making a name for themselves, he tells everyone not to forget about him after how he made an impact at the WWN Supershow. He invites all comers to Memphis so he can prove he is the baddest man on both sides of the Mississippi.

Before the next match, Nixi XS shows up with a Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship belt (which is bigger than Diana's) decorated with pink trim.

Diana Taylor retains the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship against Nixi XS by disqualification after Nixi hits Diana in the head with her own bedazzled version of the Women's Championship.

CJ Blaine meets with CJ Money. CJ Blaine tells CJ Money that he is a full grown man and not a mama's boy when CJ Money says that he loves his mother he has to do what his mother tells him, then CJ Money has to hide CJ Blaine when Mama Money suddenly shows up. Mama Money chews CJ Money out for squandering influences and running off, and tells him that either the bad influences stop or he will make him go get a switch.

We see members-only footage of Derrick King's standing ovation after his final match.

We hear from Sycho Simon, who brags about beating Derrick King and then says that if he has to take the house down brick by brick and board by board, he will do it. He calls out of the rest of the locker room, and says it is about time to set Memphis on fire.

K-Toomer and Big John Dalton beat The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth) after a hooded Van Viciouss stops "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock from using a folding chair as a weapon, hitting Jay Smooth with the chair and chasing Blaylock out of the WrestleCenter. K-Toomer and Big John Dalton shake hands after the match to end the show.
