Collision Course - Collision recap for March 1, 2025

We hear from Daniel Garcia, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong), Julia Hart, Brody King, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, Powerhouse Hobbs and Bandido at the start of the show.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beats Undisputed Kingdom (Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong)...almost. After Dax hits O'Reilly with a piledriver and scores the pinfall, he notices that O'Reilly's foot was on the middle rope, which referee Stephon Smith did not see. After protests from FTR, the match is restarted. Undisputed Kingdom (Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) beats FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) after the restart. After the match, Undisputed Kingdom reach out to shake hands, but FTR walks away.

We hear from Willow Nightingale, who says that the Con-Chair-To she gave to Marina Shafir is still ringing in Shafir's ears and that she hopes that everybody heard it, as she has gone through so much in AEW, yet some people have forgotten what happens when the smiling stops. Willow says she is "the babe with the power" and that she is not afraid to use that power.

Wheeler Yuta beats Willie Mack. After the match, Jon Moxley shows up from out of the crowd and hits Wheeler Yuta from behind with the briefcase, then takes a microphone and says he has a lesson to teach Yuta about finishing the job. He gets in the ring and tells Yuta to take Adam Copeland out on Dynamite and ensure that he does not leave the ring under his own power, as he does not deserve a clear shot at the AEW World Championship. He then grabs Willie Mack and tells Yuta to finish the job, and Yuta smacks Willie Mack in the head with the briefcase. Moxley then leaves through the crowd.

Backstage, Mercedes Moné is met by Billie Starks, who hands the TBS Championship back to her before giving her a message from Momo Watanabe: enjoy holding the TBS Championship while it lasts, because at Revolution, she is taking it. Billie then throws a whole cup full of tea into Mercedes' face and runs off.

We hear from "Timeless" Toni Storm, who is in bed wearing a neck brace. She says that the nicest thing about being piledriven on the stage is waking up to panicked doctors and dozens of messages asking if she will ever walk again. She says that it gives one time to think if it was either all worth it or a complete waste of time, as her dreams have been haunted by a woman who will not let her wake up. Toni tells "The Glamour" Mariah May "Let's get lucid," as Mariah can pry the AEW Women's World Championship "from her cold, dead hips" while she leaves her soul at home. She also asks if Mariah wants the spotlight that drove her to her in the first place, and says she can give it to her. Toni then says that if Mariah liked Grand Slam Australia, then that show will be foreplay compared to the Hollywood ending that she wants. She says she does not want or need disqualifications, count-outs or rope breaks, and that no holds will be barred and falls will count anywhere. Toni hopes Mariah believes in God before ripping her neck brace off and proclaiming that Mariah will meet Her.

Swerve Strickland beats Clark Connors after targeting Connors' left arm throughout the match.

In backstage footage from after Dynamite, The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) are met by The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd), who thank them for the opportunity. MVP mentions , then says they are men of honor and of their word and give them the tag team titles, then tells them that there is still a few weeks before Revolution and to get their business together, for they will soon be swimming with great white sharks.

Harley Cameron shows up on commentary. Harley names her new finishing move that she used against "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo earlier this week on Dynamite "My Finishing Move."

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews The Costco Guys (AJ and Big Justice) when John Morrison bumps into AJ. He calls AJ and Big Justice out for disrespecting MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) when he was not around, but he is here now. He challenges AJ to a trios match at Revolution, then says "Big Justice and a cookie don't count."

"Daddy Magic" Matt Menard guests on commentary for the next two matches.

Shane Taylor Enterprises ("Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) beat Vinny Massaro, Nick Ruiz and Dave Dutra in a trios match. After the match, Adam Cole makes his entrance for the next match and walks past Shane Taylor and Shane Taylor Enterprises on the way to the ring.

Adam Cole vs. Daniel Garcia for the TNT Championship ends with Shane Taylor Enterprises (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) attacking both men with less than five minutes left in the match. When "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard leaves the commentary, he is attacked by Shane Taylor.

We see a video package for The OPPs (Samoa Joe, Hook, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata).

Backstage, we hear from The Costco Guys (Big Boom AJ and Big Justice). As AJ mentions the disrespect from Johnny TV from earlier, Big Justice brings out Orange Cassidy as one partner. Justice wants to be the third man, but AJ says he needs Big Justice in his corner. Orange says he has a guy for that: Mark Briscoe, who becomes AJ's other partner. He says he has MxM Collection's (Mason Madden and Mansoor) fashion right here, and that they will whup Johnny TV at Revolution. Orange asks what the word of the day is, and thanks to Big Justice, it is "Boom!"

Queen Aminata beats Julia Hart. After the match, Brody King checks on Julia Hart, but he is attacked with the AEW Continental Championship belt by "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who then flips Brody King off.

We hear from Kenny Omega. Omega says he was out for an entire year wondering if he would ever wrestle again, and he had to keep hearing Don Callis talk about how "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita beat him twice in one week. He admits this got on his nerves and he is already pissed off, but what he plans to do to Takeshita is not about revenge, but about the International Championship, as whoever holds the belt is regarded as the best. He says that if Takeshita can beat him three times, then it is time for him to admit that Takeshita is better and that Takeshita is Callis' real meal ticket, and that he could never challenge for another championship again as the old him is gone. Omega then says that he has had an entire year to clear his mind, refocus, hone in on his training and sharpen all his dull points to make weaknesses into strengths after leaving his old friends behind and no longer having the baggage of being an Executive Vice President. He says that his focus is on the International Championship, not because of revenge, not because of Don Callis, and not because of Takeshita, and at Revolution, he is taking the title.

Powerhouse Hobbs and Bandido beat The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith).

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
