Let's Go! - LFG recap for March 9, 2025

Shiloh Hill is revealed to be 100% clear for in-ring action again.

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats and talks about faction, then brings out Eric Bischoff. Eric Bischoff talks about the New World Order in World CHampionship Wrestling and what it did for the industry, but is amazed to find out that nobody is old enough to remember seeing the New World Order during its prime. Sean "X-Pac" Waltman, best known for his time in the New World Order and D-Generation X, is also introduced. This introduces this week's challenge: the faction challenge, where all four teams create their own faction. Leigh thinks this a daunting task, as she is curious how everyone is going to stand out. Drake Morreaux says his team is full of character. It is mentioned that eight-person tag matches will take place as part of the challenge, with Team Booker vs. Team Bubba Ray and Team Mickie James vs. Team Undertaker. Bayley Humphrey realizes that she will have her first match ever in this match, which she looks forward to. Sirena Linton mentions that this will also be her first match. Eric Bischoff wants all four teams to make a vignette that shows their identity and what their faction is all about, and X-Pac wants to see how everyone puts a match together.

Bubba Ray Dudley meets with his team, wanting to know what kind of industry-shattering faction his team could be. Zena Sterling - whose hopes are high now that Cutler James is replacing BJ - thinks they should all be farmers, but Bubba Ray is not impressed. We get a closer look at Cutler James and his career as an amateur wrestler at Duke University. Cutler says they need to find a common thread, and Drake Morreaux feels they seem like some sort of "misformed, misfit family," which leads to Bubba Ray mentioning Big Daddy Dudley and pitching the idea of them becoming "the modern day Dudleys." Cutler James then meets with Bubba Ray Dudley, who tells him that he made the team last week because he saw a fire in him, and that he needs personality from him, mentioning that Kurt Angle was unique because of the amount of personality that he had, and tells Cutler James to put his personality all the way out there.

Team Bubba Ray films their vignette. Tatyanna is the Australian Dudley with a kangaroo for a dog, Zena is the "Barbie" Dudley, Drake Morreaux is the "New Orleans" Dudley, and Cutler James is the strong, silent type that doesn't say much and is only heard grunting. Morreaux mentions that they could really be themselves during the filming of the vignette. Meanwhile, Booker T wants to look towards the future with team, and Anthony Luke comes up with the name "The Next Era," also known as "TNE." Leigh states that it really sums their team up as everyone agrees on the name. For the vignettes, everyone is clad in black and wearing leather. Meanwhile, BJ checks in with the medical team, and finds out that his injury is serious and that surgery may be required. Bubba Ray meets with Booker T regarding putting their match together, and Leigh notices how things can change on the fly. Booker T notes that Bubba Ray knows what he is talking about regarding tag team wrestling, but he has to be there to keep him in check.

Before the next match, we see the vignette for The Next Era (Jasper Troy, Leigh Laurel, Penina Tiulepa, Anthony Luke). We also more of the Team Bubba Ray vignete. Drake's kayfabe father is Dudley Dudley, Zena's kayfabe father is Sign Guy Dudley (and Zena is more talkative than her father). Cutler James' kayfabe father is Big Dick Dudley and goes by the name "Little Dick," and Tatyanna's kayfabe father is Dances With Dudley.

The Dudleyz (Drake Morreaux, Zena Sterling, Tatyanna Dumas, Cutler James) beat The Next Era (Jasper Troy, Leigh Laurel, Penina Tiulepa, Anthony Luke) in an eight-person tag match. During the match, BJ shows up and tries to sit with the rest of the legends and talk with Eric Bischoff, but Bubba Ray kicks him out. Despite that, BJ thinks he is the good and Bubba Ray is the bad guy. After the match, Booker T says Bubba Ray did a good job pulling that match together and that Cutler James made a big difference in his team. We also found out BJ was a bit combative and slightly physically with Bubba Ray while being kicked out of the Legends section. Bubba Ray says BJ has the tools but has no idea how to use them, and that he is trying really hard to be "the shepherd" and "corral this shep." The Undertaker says that BJ has all the potential but cannot get out of his own way. Bubba Ray says he used to be like BJ and that nobody understands BJ better than him, and if he cannot get through to him, he can cut him loose, and all of that talent will be gone.

Mickie James meets with her team regarding the creation of a faction and comes up with the idea of what they all are: "The Perfect Athletes." Troy Yearwood comes with the name "Pinnacle of Performance," which Mickie James responds with "Because we make the crowd pop." We get a closer look at Troy, who has a love for music and is creative on the writing side of things and is aware that his peers have picked up on professional wrestling faster than he has, yet knows that he is in the best shape in years and that he has what it takes. The rest of Team Mickie James loves the name, and come up Meanwhile, Team Undertaker - with Michelle McCool - come up with "Slayers of Souls" after Bayley's idea of using "SOS" being a call for help that their opponents might need. Shiloh Hill likes the ideas that The Undertaker comes up with to create a layer of mystique, and Elijah mentions The Undertaker giving input but also giving them room as to how to handle their vignette. Tyra Mae Steele looks forward to We then see both Team Mickie James and Team Undertaker filming their vignettes, and Bayley mentions her background of working with "literal corpses" as well as Shiloh Hill's character and everyone's individuality being incorporated for Team Undertaker's. Meanwhile, Team Mickie James have co-ordinating white-and-gold outfits and a light-up ball that represents the world being held in their hand. Chris Island mentions enjoying making the vignette while still being able to be themselves, and Dani mentions that the vignette embodies their team.

Team Mickie James and Team Undertaker go over the day's match. Island looks forward to finishing things with Shiloh Hill while also getting things right, while Sirena Linton talks with Mickie James about the match. We get a closer look at Sirena, who talks about her gymnastic background and imitating WWE as a kid, her father being deported when she turned sixteen and how her brother had to step up and take his place before he was suddenly murdered, and how she knew WWE was something she wanted to do when she found out about WWE's NIL program. The Undertaker tells that she will have to use her speed and agility against Bayley, and we find out that Bayley and Siren are very good friends. We also get a closer look at Bayley Humphrey, who talks about her tumbling and acrobatics background and being excited about "tossing girls around and not having to catch them." She mentions having a bubbly personality that she hopes to bring out, as she does not bring it out much. The Undertaker tells Elijah and Bayley not to put so much pressure on themselves, as this match will be their very first one and they are very new to the business. Mickie James talks about having her first match in front of 50 people, and says she cannot imagine having her first match in front of WWE Legends and Eric Bischoff, which Sirena says she finds "surreal." We then see Pinnacle of Perfection's (Chris Island, Sirena Linton, Troy Yearwood, Dani Sekelsky) vignette, followed by Slayers of Souls' (Tyra Mae Seele, Elijah Holyfield, Shiloh Hill, Bayley Humphrey) vignette. Eric Bischoff mentions his curiosity being piqued by Slayers of Souls' vignette, saying it made him wonder who they where and that it could draw the audience in. Elijah says the first time walking out to the ring "felt right" and "felt like home."

Pinnacle of Perfection (Chris Island, Sirena Linton, Troy Yearwood, Dani Sekelsky) beat Slayers of Souls (Tyra Mae Steele, Elijah Holyfield, Shiloh Hill, Bayley Humphrey) in an eight-person tag match. Shiloh Hill says it felt exciting to back in the ring. Bayley and Holyfield impress during their very first match in a WWE ring. After the match, Holyfield says that he feels like a wrestler now, and Bayley says she will always cherish her first WWE match, especially when she was able to do with her best friend Sirena. Sirena says that knowing she can trust Bayley in the ring is an incredible feeling. Meanwhile, The Legends are impressed with both teams. X-Pac says that Shiloh Hill stood out. Shiloh says a big challenge was put in front of them and that they put on a match that he is really happy with.

The Legends and the Future Greats meet. Booker T agrees that everyone did well today, especially his own team. The Undertaker says he loved the hot tags, the comebacks and the finishes in the matches, and that he has never been more proud of his team than today. He says there are legitimate stars in the room. Mickie James compliments everyone, and that nobody would have known that it was Sirena's first match. Bubba Ray Dudley is impressed with everyone's teamwork, and that he saw stand-out performances out of Shiloh, Zena, Jasper Troy and Dani. Eric Bischoff gives props to Zena for being able to be "half-ass goofy" and having fun in the ring one moment and flipping the switch and becoming dangerous the next. Bischoff gives a point to Team Undertaker for bringing the mystique and making him want to know more about "Slayers of Souls," and X-Pac gives a point to Team Booker T. Tatyanna says her team felt overlooked, and Bully Ray feels disappointed in losing the point, as he felt his team helped give X-Pac's point to Booker T's team. Booker T says X-Pac had a hard decision to make, but he chose the right team. Team Booker T has three points, Team Mickie James, Team Undertaker is finally on the board with one point, and Team Bubba Ray still has yet to score. Shawn Michaels announces that there will be a very special guest joining them next week: CM Punk.
