Let's Go! - LFG recap for March 16, 2025

The four teams train at the start of the episode. It is revealed that Tatyanna has been going through a rough time in the last two days, especially as she is seen crying and Bubba Ray is telling her to stop.

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats. This week's guest is CM Punk, who says that without the Future Greats, there is no business, and he wants to know if they know who they are. He dares some of the Future Greats to take a shot at cutting a promo, and while Zena goes for it at Bubba Ray's behest, Jasper takes the microphone and talks about how he wanted to see CM Punk main event WrestleMania so he could tell his friends he did only to find out he was not there, and how he wants to face Punk in the ring one day and make him bend the knee for what he did to him. Bubaba Ray says the best promos do not feel or sound like promos, but feel and sound like people speaking from the heart. Booker T praises Jasper for stepping up and producing something organic. Jasper says he did not expect the acknowledgement, as he just wanted Punk to know that he will be ready if it is the two of them in the ring. Tatyanna cuts a promo on how his grandfather taught her how to fight and that it does not matter what people thought, and used some of the negative energy around here as fuel. Punk says Leigh has something in her, but it needs to be brought out. Cutler James' promo falls flat on CM Punk. As the challenge goes on, BJ shows up, much to Bully's chagrin. BJ cuts a promo where he says that ever since he broke the news about his shoulder, not a single person in the room reached out to him, especially Bubba Ray. He calls Zena "the epitome of sutpidity," makes fun of Tatyanna's crying, says Drake Morreaux will always be "Roxanne's boyfriend" and will bring nothing to the table, and says Cutler James would not even be here if he did not get injured, and that he will make Cutler "[his] little bitch" when he comes. He says Bubba Ray may be a douchebag at times, but he learned some things from him, saying Bubba Ray's refusal to shake his hand is just business, and he is not shaking any of the Future Greats' or the Legends' hands, as he is done and he is in it for himself. He then leaves the room. A surprised Bubba says "wrong place, wrong time...but he cut one hell of a promo, didn't he?" He also mentions BJ admitting that he learned something from him and why he would not shake his hand. Drake admits he should have backhanded BJ, and Zena doesn't know if she like BJ anymore. Punk says BJ is hurt and that he does not know if he can back it up in the ring, but says a good rule of thumb is not to throw people under the bus. Tyra Mae takes the microphone and talks about how people discredited her for being happy-go-lucky, then says she is happy-go-lucky and can kick butt doing it. She talks about how her anger problems got her to being an Olympic Gold Medalist in the biggest arenas in the world, and says that as long as she hears the noise, whether she is cheered or booed, that is all she wants. The Undertaker is blown away by Tyra Mae, especially by her confidence, and says she can be vulnerable as well as "a legitimate killer." After this, Jasper eggs on Chris Island into cutting a promo, and Booker T says Island is scared. Jasper says that if Island is going to carry an aura, then he just left money on the table for not even attempting. Bully Ray says it is not just the people who are taking the opportunity, but it is the people not taking the opportunity. Shiloh is disappointed about not taking the opportunity, and The Undertaker is disappointed with Shiloh for not taking the opportunity, as he feels Shiloh is c. CM Punk tells everyone that failure will be their biggest teacher, and it is on anyone who did not get up. He tells everyone to take opportunity to the threat. Dani says she and the rest of the team needs to step up, and that Mickie James is disappointed in the team. Troy Yearwood says that he does not know who he is, and Island says that while he has a lot to talk about, he was not feeling it as everyone was going into a deep place, but Mickie tells Island that he just had to be himself. Mickie says she will fight for her team, but her team did not do any favors.

The matches are made. The Legends take into consideration who did and did not take the opportunity. Jasper Troy is praised for his promo. The Legends consider Chris Island having Sirena as his manager, and The Undertaker considers having Tyra Mae going from face to heel. Bubba Ray mentions Tatyanna did well on the microphone. The Undertaker wants to know if Shiloh is either a face or a heel. Cutler James is given props for taking the opportunity. Afterwards, the Legends talk with the Future Greats regarding their matches. Tyra Mae mentions that she loves being a heel, while Chris Island mentions that he has never practiced being a heel before. Chris Island faces Jasper Troy in the first match.

Jasper Troy beats Chris Island despite interference from Sirena Linton when she grabs at Jasper Troy's leg so that Chris Island can go for a chop block. Sirena Linton is Chris Island's manager for the match. Afterwards, Booker T says this is the best that Booker T has seen from him in the ring, and that he cannot say enough about Jasper Troy. The Undertaker says Jasper can grab attention, and that Chris Island could make a good heel. Bubba Ray says standing up to Jasper as a manager before the match may not be the best mindset for Sirena. Chris Island is beaming following the acknowledgment from Booker T and The Undertaker.

Tyra Mae Steele beats Dani Sekelsky with a schoolkid pin after grabbing the tights. Mickie James mentions that Tyra Mae Steele is not comfortable being heel (despite Tyra Mae saying she likes to work heel) and that she spent too much time showboating while Dani was down. CM Punk says that Dani showed who she was, and that Tyra Mae needs to do the same while she is in the ring. The Undertaker says both Tyra Mae and Dani told a story, and while there is still room for improvement, Tyra Mae and Dani did well. Tyra Mae says that she has climbed a mountain to get here, and that she must climb another mountain to remember who she is and where she came from. Dani says they are both hard on themselves, and that will never change.

Tatyanna Dumas beats Leigh Laurel despite Leigh targeting Tatyanna's hurt arm. CM Punk says Leigh is a bit reserved and is a bit shy, and that there is work to do. Mickie says she saw more out of Leigh, and while the match was rushed, the match was still good. Bubba Ray says that both women came in the wrong frame of mind, and says Tatyanna has been crying since she walked into the Performance Center for the day while Leigh's mind has been elsewhere, and that it looked like she did not want to listen to Booker T when he went over their match. He tells them to leave their personal business behind before going in the ring. Leigh says she will get where she needs to be, and if she needs to bring herself up and break herself down over and over, she will do it. Tatyanna says that she tried the best she could, but she cannot make everyone happy.

Cutler James beats Shiloh Hill. During the match, Shiloh Hill goes down mid-match again, but after Shiloh is helped up, Shiloh hits a cheap shot on Cutler, turning heel during the match as planned. The Undertaker congratulates them on the heel turn, saying it was well-executed. The rest of the legends are also impressed, although Mickie James and CM Punk would have preferred that Shiloh hit Cutler with the cheap shot from behind.

The points are given out. CM Punk says nothing grows in the comfort zone, and that those who were outside of their comfort zone passed the test. For the women, Tyra Mae Steel gets the point. Ty For the men, the point goes to Jasper Troy. Jasper Troy says that Punk has given him the nod and that he sees the vision, and hopes to be in the ring with him. Team Booker T has four points, Team Mickie James and Team Undertaker are tied at two points apieces, and Bubba still has yet to get on the board. Island gives Jasper Troy credit where credit is due, and Tatyanna says she would have scored if she had more experience. Bubba says his team has all the potential in the world, but potential does not put asses in seats. The Undertaker says Shiloh did not get the point because Shiloh did not take the opportunity to cut a promo when Punk provided the opportunity. When the producer asks Shiloh why he didn't cut a promo when Punk gave him the opportunity, Shiloh says he does not care about taking part in "a pissing contest" and that he is here for violence, and as he does, the explanation becomes a full blown promo. He then says he was not ready, and he continues to be pissed off with himself for not taking the opportunity. The Undertaker says that Shiloh Hill is "money," and that he needs to bring what Shiloh just did out of him, stating that they are going to have a long talk tomorrow.
