Generation NXT - NXT recap for December 27, 2017

Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) beat Kris Starr and Riley Apex. After the match, Montez Ford tells the crowd that in 2017, they came and saw, and in 2018, they will conquer. After namedropping the best in the tag team division, they announce they will be coming for the tag team titles. Angelo Dawkins then finishes by saying "We here."

Ember Moon retains the NXT Women's Championship against Sonya Deville. After the match, Kairi Sane shows up. She points her telescope at Ember Moon and looks at her through it before making it clear she wants the Women's title. Suddenly, Kairi Sane is choked out from behind with a sleeper hold by "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, and referees have to pull Baszler off Kairi Sane.

Paul Ellering says that in NXT history, The Authors of Pain have defined it, and became undefeated NXT Tag Team Champions and the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Classic. The Undisputed Era think they may have the pen of creativity, but The Authors will write the next chapter. He says that this is The Authors' house and that they are judge, jury and executioner, and that The Undisputed Era are on borrowed time.

Backstage, Christy St. Cloud interviews Ember Moon. She says she knew she would have a target on her chest, and she is not hard to find. If Shayna Baszler or Kairi Sane want to make a statement, all they have to do is step into the ring next time.

205:Alive - 205 Live recap for December 26, 2017

In the locker room, Drew Gulak meets Cedric Alexander as he waits for Enzo Amore to call him. Cedric questions Drew's friendship with Enzo, but Drew says he should be more concerned about his match tonight. Cedric can picture 205 Live without Enzo Amore, and in such a world, Enzo Amore would not be embarrassing Drew Gulak. He says it can be a better 205 Live for everyone, especially Drew.

Before the next match, it is announced that The Brian Kendrick has suffered an orbital bridge fracture and a broken nose as a result of his match last night against Hideo Itami, and that he will be out of action for the next two months. "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher then says he learned that Hideo Itami is no stranger to cruelty after what he did to The Brian Kendrick, and says he will teach him a lesson in cruelty himself, as cruelty knows no bounds.

Hideo Itami beats "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher with a modified Rings of Saturn.

Dasha Fuentes interviews "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese. The next time Nese sees Enzo Amore, Ariya Daivari or Drew Gulak, part of him wants to lay them out where they stand. However, part of him also understands that Enzo is a global superstar. Like him or not, that is a fact. His career has only gone up since joining The 'Zo Train (Enzo, Gulak, Daivari). However, he has no idea what to do. Akira Tozawa shows up and asks if he is on the train or off the train. Nese lays him out with a single punch.

"The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese beats Akira Tozawa.

Before the next match, Drew Gulak says another year has come to a close, and it is time for a "best of" list in the form of a Powerpoint Presentation. Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali interrupt the Powerpoint presentation, however. Cedric apologizes for interrupting, then mentions they are in Mustafa's hometown. Drew may have a Powerpoint presentation, but Mustafa has a few valid points to make. Mustafa says nobody believes that outside of The 'Zo Train, Drew and Ariya Daivari would never be friends. In reality, Daivari would never hang out with someone like Drew, who keeps stealing the spotlight with the Powerpoint presentation. They also mention that Daivari used to be Enzo Amore's right-hand man until Drew came along. They have been played by each other, then by Enzo. Mustafa then asks who Enzo would choose between them: Drew or Daivari.

Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander beat The 'Zo Train (Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari).

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for December 26, 2017

General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up to start tonight's show. It is announced that the first hour of SmackDown Live this week is commercial-free (though once again, it applies only to the United States). Daniel Bryan says last week was a rollercoaster night, and mentions Dolph Ziggler's supposed departure from SmackDown Live coming out of nowhere. He has been trying to call Dolph all week, but he has not answered him back; therefore, due to Dolph's actions, Dolph Ziggler has voluntarily relinquished the United States Championship. Daniel then wishes Dolph the best of long along with the fans, and says that Dolph is one of the all-time greats. However, the show must go forward. He announces that he and Shane are happy to have the United States title on SmackDown Live, and that a tournament has been made to crown a new United States Champion. That tournament starts tonight. Former United States Champion Baron Corbin will take on Bobby Roode in the first round. Before another match can be announced, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable show up. Chad says he is happy about the United States title, but wants to know what Daniel Bryan will do about the tag team title situation. As the crowd chants "Rusev Day," Daniel Bryan asks them if they had a shot two weeks ago at Clash of Champions. Chad Gable asks if that title shot was fair, and Shelton Benjamin says they never got their one-on-one shot before asking why other teams were involved. Shelton says they beat Rusev and Aiden English last week, proving that if they had their way, they would be SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Suddenly, Aiden English is heard singing as he shows up with Rusev. Aiden English asks why he and Rusev deserve to face The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), then says they beat the champions two weeks ago, they did not lose at Clash of Champions, and that today is Rusev Day, even though Gable says it is Boxing Day. Suddenly, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) shows up. Kofi tosses pancakes into the crowd, then Woods says all the other teams are wasting his time. If he wants to know who the real #1 contenders are, all he has to do is take the Kofi Kingston True/False Challenge. Big E says that Benjamin and Gable lost at Clash of Champions, that Rusev and Aiden English got pinned by The New Day last week, and that The New Day deserves a title shot. Woods says logic dictates they are the #1 contenders to the tag titles. Rusev tells The New Day to shut up, as nobody wants to see their spinning hips, leading the fans to chant "Rusev Day" again. Rusev asks Daniel Bryan if he can make up his mind or if he has to consult Commissioner Shane McMahon. Daniel Bryan says he can make this decision on his own, and says all the teams in the ring have valid points. Therefore, all three teams will be in a Triple Threat Match where the winners will face The Usos for the SmackDown tag team titles...and that match happens right now. The Usos then guest on commentary for the match.

Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable beat the team of Rusev and Aiden English and The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become #1 contenders for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, General Manager meets with Commissioner Shane McMahon. Shane asks about Daniel Bryan telling him he is turning into Mr. McMahon last week, and says that while his father can be ruthless, cold and calculating, he made WWE and wrestling into what it is by himself. At the end of his day, Vince McMahon is still his father. Daniel Bryan tells Shane that he throws his weight around and that some of his father's negative qualities are showing. Shane also mentions that Baron Corbin has a rematch for the United States title. Daniel says SmackDown is the land of opportunity, and he wanted to give several people opportunities at the United States title. Shane also mentions AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens as the main event tonight, as well as Sami Zayn not being banned from ringside. Shane then says perception is reality, and that word is going around that Daniel is showing favoritism between Sami and Owens. He wants to know he can trust Daniel. Daniel says that Owens vs. Styles was one of the year's best rivalries, and what could be better than one more match.

Another episode of The Fashion Files is now streaming on WWE.com, where it is mentioned that The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) have given Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) a rematch against The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) tonight.

The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) beat Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) by disqualification when The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) rush in the ring, attack The Bludgeon Brothers and carry Breezango to the back.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes tries to interview Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango), but Konnor says that The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) crossed the line. Viktor then announces that Breezango are challenging The Bludgeon Brothers to a rematch next week.

Ruby Riott quickly beats Naomi with the distraction from Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. After the match, The Riott Squad takes the boots to Naomi, but Charlotte Flair shows up and takes them down. It is not long before the numbers game takes over, and The Riot Squad toss Charlotte out of the ring. As The Riott Squad celebrates, Natalya, Carmella, Lana and Tamina get in the ring and outnumber them. The Riott Squad leaves the ring immediately, but the four of them quickly meet up with them and start a brawl at the aisle.

Renee Young interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. He is planning for Kevin Owens like he did for Jinder Mahal. As for Daniel Bryan showing favoritism, he is the favorite when he gets in the ring. He started 2017 as WWE Champion and plans to end it that way. He says SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity, but opportunity is not simply handed to you; instead, you have to earn it. If Owens is going to beat him, he will have to outwork, outsmart and outhustle him. It didn't happen this year, and it won't happen tonight. He says 2018 will be no different from 2017, as SmackDown Live will continue to be the house that AJ Styles built.

Bobby Roode beats Baron Corbin to advance to the semi-finals in the United States Championship Tournament after reversing a move into a sunset flip powerbomb pin.

Jinder Mahal beats "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger to advance to the semi-finals of the United States Championship Tournament.

Tonight on 205 Live: Hideo Itami vs. "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher!

Dasha Fuentes interviews Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Owens has a bottle of champagne, but he is waiting to beat AJ Styles before he opens it. It is the same bottle General Manager Daniel Bryan refused last week. Owens mentions that Commissioner Shane McMahon was the special guest referee the last time he faced Styles, but that was then and this is now, and now he has a guardian angel in Sami Zayn by his side. He then says Daniel Bryan knows he will need the champagne after he beats Styles, and says he is better than phenomenal. After the match, he will have a private party, and only he and Sami are the only invited guests.

Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. Orton says there is not much to say except that he has dealt with everyone's issues except for his. He is looking to the future, and all he is concerning himself with is the Royal Rumble Match, which he is entering. Suddenly, "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura shows up, saying that is a good idea. He then says "Let's rumble" before leaving, confirming that he is entering the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

Kevin Owens beast "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles During the match, Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up after Sami Zayn repeatedly gets on the apron to distract Styles, and has the referee toss Sami out of the ring. Styles oes for an inside cradle, but the ref is not there to count it as he is too busy with Sami. Owens then goes for a schoolboy pin on Styles and gets the win, much to the chagrin of both Shane and Styles.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 25, 2017

John Cena returns to Raw to start tonight's show. It is announced that the entire first hour of Raw is commercial-free. (This announcement only applies to USA Network in America; commercials are awkwardly placed during the second and third matches of the night, especially in the UK.) John Cena gives a fan in orange Cena gear the hat and shirt off his back. He also thanks the Chicago, Illinois crowd for the "Merry Christmas" chant. Cena says WWE is his home, and the fans his family. He gives cheers for the good times, the bad times, and for a day like today when everybody in the crowd can be together. As he speaks, Elias shows up with his guitar. Elias tells Cena that WWE stands for "Walk with Elias," and asks who wants to walk with him. Cena says he will walk with him. Elias says he is tired of the constant interruptions, and says he might as well interrupt him as the crowd chants "CM Punk." Elias then says he is sure CM Punk will not interrupt him, either. Cena asks the crowd to let Elias have some fun for once. Elias says he will perform tonight as the crowd continues to chant "CM Punk," regardless of how often they chant "CM Punk." Cena tries to give Elias advice, but Elias won't let him. Cena then simply lays a stool in the ring, and Elias sits down on it as the lights are reduced to a single spotlight. The crowd chants "CM Punk" again, and Elias blames it on Cena. Elias begins to mock Chicago, and Cena immediately stops him. He says he was willing to give him a chance and wanted to warn him not to do this, and says Chicago isn't a bad place to spend the holidays. He then calls Elias out for playing okay, but calling the crowd jerks whenever he does. He then tells the crowd is not jerks; Elias is. Elias says he never thought of it that way, and says Cena is right and maybe he is a jerk. He says he would love to do that song again if the Chicago crowd is willing to give him a second chance. Cena warns him that Chicago is a tough city, but it is Christmas, and gives him the second chance. Elias plays the song again, much to the happiness of Cena. Cena picks up the singing where Elias left off, and Elias punches him in the face when he turns around. Elias then says he does not play for Cena, and that both Christmas and Chicago are overrated. As John Cena gets up, Elias takes the boots to him, then says Santa didn't visit him this morning and he is giving himself the gift of challenging Cena right now. He then asks for a referee. Referee John Cone shows up, and the match is official and it starts right now.

John Cena beats Elias.

Backstage, General Manager Kurt Angle is decorating a Christmas tree when Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins show up. Rollins wants Samoa Joe, but so does Jordan. Angle tells them that when they get close to Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro get in the way. Rollins doesn't like the idea, and Jordan calls this "a step back" as he wants to be a singles star. Angle tells them they had better find a way to work together, as they will be facing Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Roman Reigns then shows up. Angle tells Roman that Joe is all his, and that the Intercontinental title is on the line.

Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville) beat Bayley, Sasha Banks and Mickie James.

It is announced that Dean Ambrose has suffered an army injury and that Ambrose may be out of action for up to nine months.

Renee Young interviews Samoa Joe. Joe has no remorse for what he did to Dean Ambrose last week, and says Dean can now spend time with his loved ones during the holidays. His actions have also given him an Intercontinental title shot. He says that Roman Reigns will not waltz into the ring thinking he will retain the Intercontinental Championship, as he will put Roman to sleep and take the title away from him.

The first hour of SmackDown Live will also be commercial-free.

We see a video package of the creation of the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Universal Championship between Kane, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar from last week.

Kane beats Heath Slater in a match that is Rhyno's way of toughening Slater up. After the match, Rhyno checks on Slater, and nearly gets choke slammed. Rhyno fights back, however, but when he goes for the Gore, he gets choke slammed nonetheless.

Before the next match, Curt Hawkins says he would usually tell the fans to face the fact, but he needs to tell himself that as this year has not been kind to his win-loss record. But 2017 is not over yet, and he feels a Christmas miracle tonight. He issues an open challenge, hoping his 146-match losing streak will come to an end. That challenge is answered by Finn Balor.

Finn Balor beats Curt Hawkins, bringing Curt Hawkins' losing streak to 147 matches.

Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel deliver "Mizmas cheer" to Goldust with a Mizmas carol, and give him a copy of Santa's Little Helper. When Titus Worldwide (Titus O'Neil, Apollo Crews, Dana Brooke) shows up, Goldust hands the movie to Titus, then scares the crap out of him.

Bray Wyatt is on the TitanTron. He says Sister Abigail always hated Christmas and how it gave everyone something to believe in, and how it currently reminds her of Matt Hardy, who he says is using the people for his personal gain. He tells the "woken warriors" to look around and realize they are surrounded by fireflies and by Sister Abigail. He then announces that he is here. When Bray Wyatt gets in the ring and the lights come back on, Bray is suddenly attacked by Matt Hardy, and quickly gets out of there. Matt Hardy then laughs maniacally in the center of the ring.

Sheamus and Cesaro are backstage, unhappy about the fact that they have to defend the Raw tag titles tonight. Sheamus gives Cesaro, appreciating him for being his tag team partner, even if General Manager Kurt Angle does not appreciate what they have done for him all year. A card is attached. As for the package itself, a Dean Ambrose action figure with a missing arm is inside. Cesaro returns the favor by giving Sheamus a gift. Inside Sheamus' present is a Seth Rollins figure. Sheamus plans to break it like he will the real Rollins. Cesaro says that is not all, and inside is also a Jason Jordan figurine. Sheamus doesn't want it, but Cesaro says neither Seth or Angle want him, either.
br /> The ring is set up for a Miracle on 34th Street Fight featuring wrestlers from the Cruiserweight Division, coming up next.

Before the next match, Enzo Amore - dressed as Santa Claus - says he is here from the North Pole with his elves Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari to spread some Christmas cheer. He then says Cedric Alexander got coal instead of the Cruiserweight title this morning. Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns. He could care less about what Samoa Joe has to say, as he is Intercontinental Champion and he is walking away with the title. Tonight is about Dean Ambrose, and he will send a message to Joe: if he hurts one of his brothers, they will hurt him.

Samoa Joe beats Roman Reigns by disqualification after Roman Reigns shoves referee John Cone away as he takes the boots to Samoa Joe in the corner. After the match, Roman hits Joe with a Superman Punch, then fights him at ringside. Referees rush out as Roman is about to hit Joe with the steel steps, but Roman does it anyway. Roman then grabs a steel chair and aims for Joe's arm, but Joe runs away just in time.

Backstage, Seth Rollins is seen watching from backstage when Jason Jordan. He admits they have differences, but he does not care about them. He also tells Jason Jordan that everyone is top competition in the WWE. Jordan has no problems with tagging with Rollins, but when he says he makes a pretty good replacement for Dean Ambrose, Seth tells him he will never be Dean Ambrose. Jordan says that's okay, as he will be better.

Before the next match, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel announce that they have a Secret Santa match, and they will not know who their opponents are until they show up. Bo asks the crowd to join them in a Mizmas carol. The opponent ends up being Braun Strowman.

We look back to The 1-2-3 Kid's surprise win against Razor Ramon from May 17, 1993.

Alexa Bliss is in the ring. She wishes everyone a "merry Blissmas," then says she is giving everyone a Christmas gift: the gift of a goddess. She then takes the time to reflect, and says 2017 has been her year. She started it as SmackDown Women's Champion and plans to end it as Raw Women's Champion, and she has triumphed against every obstacle in her path. She punched through the glass ceiling, and says last week's Women's Royal Rumble Match announcement was moment of the year. She then tells all the women in the locker room as well as the fans "You're welcome," as everything leading up to the match is because of her, as she is the gift that keeps on giving and she will be watching to see who will win. Suddenly, Asuka shows up. Asuka tells Alexa Bliss she is entering the Women's Royal Rumble Match, and that she will win because nobody is ready for her. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes looks at his final pick, mentioning that the last time he picked a partner, he got Cheeseburger and that he will not let that happen again. Alexa Bliss wakes up Lana, and Nattie and Nikki make their way back to the beach and find Lana's things, which are intact. Alexa tells Lana that she and Nattie need to grow up, as their arguing is becoming ridiculous. Nattie returns Lana's stuff back to her, and Lana thanks her.

At breakfast, Lana apologizes to Nattie, saying she gets very defensive and says mean things. Nattie appreciates her apology, but she would rather have a private discussion with her. Afterwards, everyone takes a swim in the ocean. Lana goes up a huge rope, and Nattie gets concerned about Lana's safety when she dives off as she does not want her to get hurt. Nattie lets her know, and apologizes to Lana for taking her stuff and says that this is not the kind of person she is and that she is there for her. Both of them hug and make up, much to the relief of Nikki. Alexa has to leave after the boat trip to fly to Raw, but she is happy she spent some time with some of the women. Afterwards, the rest of the women have a meal together, and Trinity feels like she needs to spice things up in the bedroom with Jon Uso, as they are both so set in a schedule. Nattie talks about her and T.J.'s roleplay session from early in the series. Trinity realizes that if Nattie can spice up her love life, so can she. Brie get a call from Bryan and Birdie, and Brie feels a little sad and that she should be at home with Birdie, whom she misses.

Backstage at Raw, R-Truth irons Maryse's jacket. Maryse then meets Mike at catering and notices him eating meat, and gives him a hard time for it while she is eating a cookie, as she is a vegetarian and hasn't had meat in four years.

At Cabo San Lucas, Brie has a surprise for Nikki, but she does not want her to see it before coming into the house, and Brie helps her to her room. Nikki is afraid that Brie brought a stripper. Later that night, she finds out it is a fiesta complete with a mariachi band, jugglers and dancers. Everyone has a nice time. Everyone proposes a toast to Nikki getting married.

At Mike and Maryse's house, Mike and Maryse are going to a farm where he can pick her own vegetables. She wants to do this to get Mike to be vegetarian. Suddenly, Mocha poops on the floor. Mike says he will go if she cleans it up. She cleans it up. They then head to the farm, where they pick green beans and beets right out of the ground and also taste them. Maryse then makes a bet: if Mike goes vegetarian for a week, she will eat meat. Mike accepts the bet.

Brie, Bryan and Birdie have a meal together in San Diego, California. Brie wonders if she is doing the right thing going back to WWE after becoming a mom, but Daniel Bryan says Birdie will be okay with him while she is on the road. Brie still wants to be the best mom she can be as she tries to balance work and life.

In Pensacola, Florida, Trinity and Jon Uso go to a costume shop in an attempt to spice up their love life. Trinity thinks Jon is missing the point as he is just having fun after a while.

Mike and Maryse head to a restaurant. Mike says he will go vegetarian if she takes one bit of meat. Maryse watches Mike eat the meat, but does not want to do it. Mike dares her to eat one piece of meat to make him go ahead with the bet. She does, much to Mike's surprise.

Brie and Nikki head to a pick-up soccer league to mentor some kids. Brie looks forward to getting back in shape as she and Nikki have fun. During the game, Brie realizes she needs to get back to the gym.

Trinity and Jon Uso go to a wine bar. They try to act like they are complete strangers and do not know each other, but it does not exactly work. It all works out in the end, however.

Brie goes hiking with Nia Jax. Brie wonders how she is going to get back into the swing of things in WWE and see where she can fit in as she balances her work and home lives. Nia Jax says she is trying to figure out where she fits in all the time, but tells Brie that if she can get back into the WWE, anything is possible. With Gran Metalik's left knee injured, Kendrick drives the steel steps into the knee to further hurt it as Gallagher presses his umbrella against Gran Metalik's chest.

In the locker room, Enzo Amore says tonight was supposed to be a celebration, but instead, he has to do damage control due to Drew Gulak's loss last night. He says Gulak had one job to keep Cedric Alexander from winning, but he blew it. Gulak says he can make it up to him by beating Cedric Alexander tonight and ground him for good, and begin a better 205 Live in earnest when he annihilates him. Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for December 19, 2017

General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up to start tonight's show. Daniel Bryan welcomes everyone to the show, then talks about the announcement from last night's Raw concerning the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match. He says it will be huge, it will be awesome, and a turning point in WWE history. He then mentions tonight's show will also be great, as the main event will be Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton, "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Suddenly, Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up. Shane looks back at what happened Sunday night at Clash of Champions, and mentions Daniel Bryan tripping and landing on top of him, breaking Randy Orton's pinfall. Shane says he now knows it was an accident, but says he was frustrated. After Sami Zayn rolled Randy Orton up, what Kevin Owens did to his father as well as what Sami Zayn took away from him ran through his head, as did how Sami and Owens ran through his head. This is why he did not count to three. After Daniel Bryan got in his face, Sami and Owens got the pin, then Daniel Bryan made the fast count, and now Sami and Owens are still here. Daniel says he did what he did to protect Shane from himself. Shane tells Daniel he does not need protection from him, but Daniel tells Shane he does. Daniel says Shane eats, drinks and breathes SmackDown Live, but his passion can make him into a hothead. He tried to protect not only him, but an idea...their idea. He took the General Manager job because he shared the vision of a land of opportunity. He says he envisions a land of opportunity for everyone, not just the people he liked. When Shane threatened Sami and Owens' livelihoods, he also threatened the shared vision. Shane says he can understand why he has empathy for Sami and Owens. He tells Daniel Bryan to be careful, for once they are done taking advantage of his empathy, they will stab him in the back. He says it is imperative not to show favoritism, as it will eventually turn around and bite them right in the rear from a business standpoint. Daniel asks if he should have done what was "best for business," because he has heard those words before and has fought against them. He believes in Shane, SmackDown Live and the shared vision, and if Shane's vision is difference, that is his prerogative. If he wants to fire somebody, he should fire him, as he does not want to see Shane turn into his father Vince McMahon. The crowd chants "Who's your daddy?" Shane tells Daniel Bryan he respects him implicity and trust him, and wishes him good luck with the show tonight.

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

Charlotte Flair shows up. After a video package concerning last night's announcement of the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble Match, Charlotte talks about how he retained the SmackDown Women's Championship against Natalya, and says nothing makes her happier than carrying the title on her shoulder. Last night, however, the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match was announced. Women from both the red and blue brands will be able to participate, and while they have made history, it would not have been possible without the fans, who made their voices heard and showed their passion, and management listened. She thanks the fans as well as all the women in the Women's Division. Regardless of who wins, she will be ready to defend her title. Suddenly, Naomi shows up. She congratulates Charlotte on retaining last night, but she is also out here to be the first woman on the SmackDown Live roster to declare she will be entering the Women's Royal Rumble Match. Naomi tells Charlotte she will see her at WrestleMania. Suddenly, The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) shows up. Before they can entering the ring, Naomi says they won't be entering the Women's Royal Rumble, as it is about endurance and surviving the numbers game, not sneak attacks, and she and Charlotte have survived what "the chickenheads" have thrown at them. The crowd chants "chickenheads." Naomi laughs, then challenges two members of The Riott Squad to a tag team match against her and Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte Flair and Naomi beat The Riott Squad (Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott) after Naomi barely avoids Liv Morgan on the apron.

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) are in Christmas costume as they hand out gifts...and panckages. They also show off their new holiday shirt. They then run into Santa Rusev and Aiden English the Snowman. Rusev says nobody wants their shirts, and that he has what the fans really want: the Happy Rusev Day shirt. Unfortunately, he has one list, and everyone is on the naughty list. Aiden English then sings about Rusev Day again, and as he does, he challenges The New Day to a match, then Rusev mocks The New Day's pancakes. After Big E says they have flapped the wrong jacks, he accepts the challenge on The New Day's behalf.

Dolph Ziggler shows up for his United States Championship Celebration. Dolph says "I told you so!" as he lifts up the United States title, and says the title is why he was in the United States title match. He then says that if being United States Champion again came out of nowhere, then that means nobody has been paying attention for the last twelve years, when he has accepted every challenge only to earn nothing for it. Some may say they are the biggest, the baddest or the most charismatic, but he is the best and nobody can do what he can do in the ring. If the United States cannot prove that to the fans, then his second reign with the United States title is only the beginning. We see footage from Capitol Punishment in June 2011, when Dolph Ziggler won the title the first time, then we look back at still images from Sunday's Clash of Champions when he won it again. Dolph says he is just getting started here tonight, and says he is also a five-time Intercontinental Champion. We look back at August 2010, August 2014, September 2014, TLC 2014, and No Mercy 2016 - the five times he won the title. He then says he is forgetting an accolade, then remembers he won Money In The Bank, cashed in successfully and became World Heavyweight Champion. We look back at Money In The Bank 2012. After that, we look back at the Raw after WrestleMania 29, when Dolph Ziggler cashed in on Alberto Del Rio to win the World Heavyweight title. Dolph then proclaims himself one of the most decorated champions in WWE history, and night after night, year after year, he proved it to himself, the fans and the rest of the world, but he still went unappreciated. He then declares that the fans are not worthy of his presence, and that they do not deserve him. He then looks down at the United States Championship, and gives them something to remember him by. He drops the United States title, then walks away.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn meet up with General Manager Daniel Bryan, and thank him with a bottle of celebratory champagne for doing the right thing on them. Daniel Bryan says he did it for all of SmackDown. He then hands the champagne back, saying he doesn't drink. Orton and Sami says Bryan also did it because of Randy Orton, saying he still has a grudge against Orton. They talk about how Orton tried to destroy him, much like what Commissioner Shane McMahon tried to do to them and eventually Daniel. Daniel says they are delusional, and if they do not stop smiling and gloating, he might just fire them himself. He then tells them to get ready for their match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) beat Rusev and Aiden English. During the match, Rusev and Aiden English put whipped cream and a cherry on top of The New Day's pancakes. Xavier Woods almost gets his face slammed into them,ut Kofi hits Rusev with a top rope trust fall before he and Xavier Woods drop Aiden English face-first into the flapjacks instead.

We see a sneak peak at tomorrow's new episode of Total Divas.

Strowman tells Angle he earned the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar, as he was the only one standing. Kane shows up, and says he has caused more destruction than anyone else in WWE for over 20 years. He says there is no way anyone is stepping in front of him, and while Lesnar's list of victims is impressive, it does not include him. He says he will get his chance at Royal Rumble unless Strowman is man enough to stop him. Angle has to stand between them, but all of a sudden, Paul Heyman shows up. Heyman states this discussion will not happen without Brock Lesnar present, and he introduces his client, who shows up. Kurt Angle wastes no time making the match a Triple Threat Match before getting out of the ring. Kane, Strowman and Lesnar then go at it all at once. He is now done asking, and while he has nothing but respect for Seth, if he has a bone to pick with Samoa Joe, he will have to pick the bones when he is done. Seth says he respects Jordan and what he is trying to do, but before he can say much else, Samoa Joe shows up. Joe says they are making him feel like the belle of the ball and that all the boys want to dance with him. He has a solution to both of them wanting to get their hands on him: both men have a match, and the winner gets put to sleep by him. Rollins says the match is made, and he tells Joe to come on down here so he can beat him up while Jordan "looks for his daddy's approval somewhere else." Jordan responds by shoving him to the mat. This starts the match Joe has proposed. Samoa Joe sits at ringside as the match is made official.

We hear from Dan Lambert, Lashley and "The Cowboy" James Storm before tonight's call-out.

Dan Lambert asks the rest of American Top Team to take the night off, as they, "The Cowboy" James Storm are seen backstage.

Petey Williams and Johnny Impact are talking backstage when Alberto El Patron says he is teaming with them only because he is being told to, and tells Impact he is fighting a battle he cannot win. He tells him to be careful, as accidents happen all the time in the ring. He also does not think much of Petey Williams, either.

The GWN Flashback of the Week is Gail Kim becoming the very first Knockouts Champion at Bound For Glory 2007.

Eli Drake and Chris Adonis tell Jimmy Jacobs that they have their match in the bag backstage. When Eli asks if they're good, Jimmy simply says yes.

Jimmy Jacobs is revealed to be Eli Drake and Chris Adonis' partner for the next match...almost. He says "the princess is here," and says despite what other people say, he is a good guy and he is here to help. He says Eli and Adonis need help and another man on their team. He promised them he would get them a partner, but he did not. He got him something better: a savage who is walking proof that not all men are created equal: Kongo Kong, whom Jacobs calls "the new monster of Impact Wrestling.:

Alberto El Patron, Johnny Impact and Petey Williams beat Eli Drake, Chris Adonis and Kongo Kong. During the match, Kongo Kong powerbombs Petey Williams over the guardrail and into some fans before taking him tot he back at the behest of Jimmy Jacobs. Joseph tries to talk him out of it, but Chandler tells him he should know better than anybody that Parks are fighters.

We hear from Ethan Carter III and Matt Sydal about their Triple Threat Match with Fallah Bahh for the Impact Grand Championship, which happens in three weeks.

Taiji Ishimori will face Trevor Lee for the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship in three weeks.

Moose and "The Cowboy" James Storm show up. Moose says American Top Team is starting to piss him off, and Storm says AT&T is pissing him off too because his Internet is not working. After Moose reminds him that he is talking about American Top Team, he says he had Lashley beat in a one-on-one match until they jumped in, and that he had Lashley beat in a tag team match only for them to jump in again. When he had Lashley beat at Bound For Glory, they jumped in a third time. He now believes that Lashley can't beat him one-on-one, and says he should change his nickname from "Walking Armageddon" to "Bitch Boy Bobby." Lashley and Dan Lambert show up, and Lashley tells Moose to shut up, and says he will fight anybody at anytime, and Moose is not an exception. The crowd chants "Bitch Boy Bobby." Lashley tells Moose that if he wants to fight him, it will happen, but only on his terms and there is nothing he can do about it. Storm tells Dan Lambert he respects what American Top Team does, even if he does not like him, as they are one of the greatest camps in MMA, but when they come into professional wrestling and disrespect them, he has a problem, and now he is looking at "a big ol' bag of poo-poo." Every time Dan Lambert speaks, Storm calls it "poo-poo," and the crowd chants it. Storm then tells Dan Lambert he wants him one-on-one. Lambert says he cannot figure out why professional wrestling chose to pick a fight with MMA, and he will never figure out why American Top Team was singled out. Storm says he wants Lambert one-on-one so he can kick the shit out of him. Lambert says if he wants to prove himself against other sport, he should go down the street and slap the Ottawa Senators. He then says he had to stand on the ramp a few weeks ago and hear him go on and on about his love for pro wrestling and the fans as well as how he puts his body on thel ine and how he lives for the fans. He says it make sit want to puke, but he now sees this as an opportunity. He notes that Storm has been in the company since day one and has shown considerable staying power, and says this makes Storm the face of Impact Wrestling, which in turn makes him "the head of the snake." If he can cut the head, then Impact Wrestling can "no longer sell its snake oil." He says that if he wants to face him, he must put his career on the line, and if he loses, he has to leave Impact forever. Storm tells Dan Lambert he has a deal, but after he kicks his ass, he, Lashley and the rest of American Top Team can get out of his company. He then says the only thing he will hear for the rest of his life is "Sorry about your damn luck." Before he can finish that statement, however, Lambert spits in his face, and Lashley hits Moose with a cheap shot. As Lambert directs traffic, Storm threatens to hit him with the Last Call Superkick. Suddenly, KM gets in the ring, but he falls victim to the Last Call after a brief brawl. Storm then finishes his statement after Lambert retreats.

"The Cowboy" James Storm will face Dan Lambert in a Career vs. Career Match in three weeks.

Laurel Van Ness beats Rosemary to become the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion! This happens after Laurel Van Ness shoves the ref, ducks the mist from Rosemary, gets it on her hands and hits Rosemary with an Unprettier from the top rope after rubbing the mist into Rosemary's eyes.

An irritated Sami Callihan eventually finds Konnan. Konnan tells him that life's greatest tragedies are getting old too fast and getting wise too late, and thought he was smarter than he comes across as. He tells him he is ignorant and oblivious to that. Callihan says he's head enough and says there is a new kid in town, but Konnan says he has something he wants: the tag team titles, as he is losing a lot of money. Konnan wants a tag team title match. Callihan accepts, but on the condition that if the Latin-American Xchange loses, they have to leave Impact. Konnan tells him that if he reneges on this deal, he will screw up his entire life and those of everyone he knows and he will be so toxic that they would work with very trashy celebrities before they ever work with him again. He then tells him this is business, not personal. They shake hands, then Callihan throws a fireball at Konnan's eyes, blinding him. Callihan then tells him "Now it's personal, bitch!"
