Tiffany kicks out and sends Liv into Bianca, knocking Bianca off the ring apron and getting the win.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says every moment has led him to this moment where the World Heavyweight title needs him as much as he needs it. He says that if he loses, it will be all for nothing and his career will be as useless as CM Punk's return to WWE. Bobby Lashley shows up and finds Drew McIntyre and his new shirt "as comical as WrestleMania 37," then walks away laughing.

We see Ashante "Thee" Adonis at his home with Cedric Alexander. It takes several hours for Cedric Alexander to come up with an outfit choice that Adonis likes.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns laugh about what Jimmy did to Jey Uso on Raw when Paul Heyman shows up to tell Roman that Grayson Waller is here. Roman asks Heyman to let Grayson see him.

We see footage of the WWE Superstars out and about in Perth, Australia.

Bron Breakker quickly beats Dante Chen in his SmackDown debut.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh). Finn Balor says Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne have no chance against them, and Damian Priest says that after tonight, all that will be left to do at Elimination Chamber is to pick the bones.

Backstage, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro talk about dealing with Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Humberto, Angel, Elektra Lopez). Elektra Lopez shows up and says she has watched them the last few weeks, and says that The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Wilde, del Toro, Zelina Vega, Carlito) is basically dead and that following Rey Mysterio has done nothing for them. She says this is a result of their choices, and next time, their loyalty will be better, if there is a next time. Elektra leaves before the two of them are jumped by Humberto and Angel. Santos Escobar shows up and says Wilde and Del Toro abandoned him, and that this is the price they will pay. Escobar says this is only the beginning before Carlito, Zelina Vega and referees appear. Escobar, Humberto and Angel flee.

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne beat The Judgment Day ("Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh). After the match, Finn Balor tries to get in the ring, but gets knocked off the apron by Tyler Bate. Damian Priest tries to overpower Tyler and Dunne, but they fight back. Both teams then brawl, but Tyler and Dunne slide out and beat up Dominik and McDonagh.

Backstage, Austin Theory, Logan Paul and Grayson Waller chat when Kevin Owens shows up. Owens dares Logan to bring the brass knuckles to Australia so that either he use the knuckles against him or Logan gets deported. Owens leaves, then Paul Heyman shows up and asks if Owens was just there before saying he never liked him. He then tells Grayson Waller that Roman Reigns wants to see him before leading him to Roman's dressing room.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis and a referee help Dakota Kai to the trainer's room.

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) after Karrion Kross pushes Montez Ford off the top rope while Scarlett distracts the referee, causing all hell to break loose at ringside and Karrion Kross to smash Lashley's arm against the ring post with a metal folding chair.

At the trainer's room, it is revealed that Dakota Kai is injured. Bayley finds out from Dakota Kai that Asuka, Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky attacked her, and tells Dakota that they will not get away with this. Dakota says she still has Bayley's back, and if she has to regain her trust, so be it.

We see footage from the Elimination Chamber press event.

Drew McIntyre beats LA Knight by disqualification after McIntyre shows Knight into Owens, causing Owens to attack McIntyre. After the match, Bobby Lashley shows up and attacks Knight, and this leads to everyone in the ring brawling with everyone else. McIntyre eventually stands tall, but he soon falls victim to an RKO out of nowhere by Randy Orton to end the show.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 9, 2024

We see the fallout from the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff media event, in which Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is almost official until "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up and officially challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H heads to the ring and joins Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis for tonight's show. He proclaims that the road to WrestleMania has taken a hard left turn and is on fire and that it feels "damn good," then states that he is here to clear up one thing. Triple H says it felt like there was some confusion in the air on the way to Las Vegas and that some people did not know their role, as some people tried to show up and insert their authority when they do not really have any. He says that he does not care where anyone sits, and that regardless of whether someone is liked or not, the answers come from one place and one place only: himself. Triple H states that the main event of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. He states that there will be some people in the back who will be disappointed with the decision or will not like it, then says it does not matter if they like that decision. He then welcomes everyone to the road to WrestleMania. Nick Aldis then steps forward and states that attention must now be focused on Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship. He states that all three men in the ring are in agreement that Rollins' challenger will be decided in an Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber, and that there will be qualifiers to decide the potential participants in that match. Adam Pearce announces the twelve people in the six qualifying matches: Randy Orton, "Big" Bronson Reed, Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, The Miz, Bobby Lashley, Ivar, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and LA Knight. He states that the six matches will take place over three events, and that the first qualifier is AJ Styles vs. Drew McIntyre tonight. Drew McIntyre shows up first and thanks everyone for proving with their wallets that they feel the same as he does with CM Punk with his shirt, which he says is selling more than Punk's shirt. He says that "DM Hunk" will make a promise that CM Punk will not get one penny of the profits from his shirt, then says everyone is happy that Cody chose Roman. He says that after he tried to convince Cody verbally only to convince him physically, he says that all that is left to do is save the World Heavyweight Championship and give the fans a champion who is best for business.

LA Knight guests on commentary for the next match.

Drew McIntyre beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles to qualify for the men's Elimination Chamber match. During the match, LA Knight pours water on Styles, which Styles does not appreciate before McIntyre shoves Styles into Knight. Later on in the match, Styles kicks the ropes into McIntyre's groin, but when he goes for an inside cradle, Knight gets on the apron and distracts the referee. McIntyre is able to escape and hit Styles with the Claymore Kick to qualify.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Sami Zayn. Sami says the last week has proven that nothing is certain in WWE and that this is an emotional time. He says he was in the main event last year and watching the window to another big WrestleMania match close fast, and now he has a shot against a thirteen-time world champion. Sami states that if he can beat Orton, he is one step closer to a man he has never beaten in Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. He says it is a hard path, but it is still a path.

We see Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) outside. As Elton Prince sees a cloud that looks like Queen Elizabeth II, Kit Wilson says he is angry about what Pete Dunne did to his hand. Elton Prince says it is time to show what they are all about this WrestleMania season.

Bianca Belair beats "Michin" Mia Yim to qualify for the women's Elimination Chamber match.

Backstage, Bron Breakker meets with Triple H, who tells Breakker that he is proud of him and how far he has come, and wants to see what he can do at the next level. Breakker says he is wondering which brand to go to and asks for advice, then Paul Heyman shows up and shakes Breakker's hand. Breakker leaves, then Heyman says he will be back with Roman Reigns and The Rock next week when Triple H gets irritated at Heyman for being in the room.

Bayley heads to the ring. Bayley thanks the fans for being on the journey all these years and knowing that she has the heart for this, and says that Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane) meant everything to her. She says that she put Damage CTRL over herself over and over again and gave and gave and never asked questions, but all they did was take. She thought that they would be happy for her after she won the Royal Rumble, but they were not. She says that they laughed at her and stopped talking when she entered the room, then says that Iyo Sky will learn the hard way before Dakota Kai shows up saying she has been trying to text Bayley all week and that she did not know anything about this. Bayley tells Dakota to cut the crap because she was making fun of her alongside Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky and Asuka. Dakota says she was put in a really tough spot, but she always believed in Damage CTRL. This leads to the fans booing her. She says that Iyo Sky also believed until Asuka and Kairi Sane got in her head. Dakota tells Bayley she did not know how to tell Bayley what was going on and that she misses the original three-woman team, and that she would not be here if not for Bayley. She says that Bayley was like a mentor to her and that her plan was working, and that she was close to having it all. She thought everything with Asuka and Kairi would blow over, but it did not. Bayley asks Dakota where she stands, then Iyo Sky, Asuka and Kairi Sane show up. Dakota leaves as Iyo, Asuka and Kairi enter to get a metal folding chair, then charges at Iyo and Kairi before almost swinging at Bayley only to stop herself.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Randy Orton. He mentions Sami Zayn saying it is not a given to make it to WrestleMania and agrees, as he was watching from the sidelines last year. He says that he learned that in this business, he has always known when to strike, but he now knows how important it is to wait. Orton admits his road has taken a slight detour, but if he gets his way, he will move on to the Elimination Chamber, where the only constant is being cold, calculating and lethal.

We hear from Bobby Lashley, B-Fab and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Bobby Lashley says that he will beat "Big" Bronson Reed to qualify for the men's Elimination Chamber match and go on to become "The All Mighty."

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne beat #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) to face The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at Elimination Chamber.

Backstage, Byron Saxton is suddenly met by "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, who says that The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) will continue to dominate at Elimination Chamber while he wins the men's Elimination Chamber match, beat Seth Rollins, and become World Heavyweight Champion. As he says he will slap the taste out of anyone he has to get through to become champion, Kevin Owens shows up and says all Dominik will do is get the worst beating of his life as he dedicates it to Rey Mysterio. R-Truth shows up and tells Kevin Owens that he should be on Raw and not to let General Manager Nick Aldis catch him, all while thinking that Owens is The Miz.

Randy Orton beats Sami Zayn to qualify for the men's Elimination Chamber match. After the match, Drew McIntyre is suddenly behind Randy Orton. Orton notices, and both men have a staredown to end the show.

This week on The SmackDown LowDown: Bianca Belair! Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne! Kevin Owens (and R-Truth)!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 2, 2024

Logan Paul heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Logan admits that he underestimated Kevin Owens, saying he "looks like a pissed off doughnut" but made him fight in their match and did more damage to him than Floyd Mayweather, as he made him bleed and nearly knocked him out. He then brags that Owens still lost and that he is still champion, and that he is the toughest person on a "brittle roster" and makes fun of people complaining about history before proclaiming that he is "unbreakable." Suddenly, Kevin Owens shows up and tells Logan he forgot to describe himself as "an unbearable idiot" before stating that he still got the moral victory and that it felt better than knocking him out. Owens then proclaims that he is ready to bring back some prestige to the United States Championship by taking it from Logan Paul and sanitizing it as soon as possible, then tells Owens that he wasted his one shot and took the bait from the brass knuckles. Owens reminds Logan that he will stop at nothing to win and admits that he got caught, and gives credit to the referee for their match before telling Logan that next time they get in the ring for the title, he will not need brass knuckles to beat him. Logan tells him that it is over for Owens and that he will find a real challenger who is not Owens before telling Owens to focus on his match with Austin Theory while he talks smack about him on commentary.

Logan Paul guests on commentary for the next match.

Kevin Owens beats Austin Theory. During the match, Logan Paul passes some brass knuckles to Austin Theory, but Owens takes them away, superkicks Grayson Waller and punches Theory with the knuckles while Logan Paul tries to warn the refere before hiding the brass knuckles for the win. After the match, Logan flees through the crowd when Owens runs after him.

As Trinity and other female Superstars celebrate Trinity signing to SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton shows up with a SmackDown contract that she just signed and asks where her applause is. After stepping up to Bianca Belair, she then slaps "Michin" Mia Yim and runs away. General Manager Nick Aldis keeps everyone from chasing after Tiffany, and Mia Yim wants a match with Tiffany tonight. Aldis grants it.

Backstage, Bianca Belair meets with General Manager Nick Aldis, wanting to know how to get into the championship picture. As Aldis says he and General Manager Adam Pearce are looking into it, Logan Paul interrupts, wanting another challenger, much to the chagrin of Bianca.

We see Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Humberto, Angel, Elektra Lopez) at a restaurant. Santos Escobar says he looks at the table and that his heart is filled with joy, as there is nothing more valuable than family in his universe. He says that they are the bearers of the legacies of their families and that and that they must eradicate The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Carlito, Zelina Vega) having a toast to honor and loyalty.

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne beat Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince), Legado del Fantasma (Humberto and Angel) and The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) to face the winners of next week's Raw's Fatal 4-Way tag team match.

"Michin" Mia Yim vs. Tiffany Stratton is official for later tonight.

Backstage, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane and Asuka converse, and Iyo Sky says that "Bayley is done tonight." Meanwhile, Bayley has been watching and listening from a distance.

WrestleMania 40 is 64 days away!

We see a video package of Seth "Freakin'" Rollins' plea for "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes to face him for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis are in the ring as Bayley heads to the ring to make her championship decision with Asuka, Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky. Bayley says that when she thinks of WrestleMania, she talks about how she has nearly done it all, and that this year is both different and special because she she had a lot of ups and downs and got there with the help of Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane). She says that Damage CTRL is family and that when she thinks of WrestleMania, she is reminded of the magic and of beating the best. She entertains wrestling Rhea Ripley, but then confronts Kairi, Asuka and Iyo for talking about her behind her back. Bayley says she just wanted Damage CTRL to be the best and take them to the top together, then confronts Iyo Sky for turning her back on her before Asuka and Kairi attack Bayley from behind. Asuka, Kairi and Iyo Sky lay Bayley out, but Bayley soon fights back with a pipe, and Iyo Sky and Bayley almost strike each other with the WWE Women's Championship and the pipe, respectively. Iyo then flees with Kairi and Asuka. Bayley then tells Iyo that she will see her at WrestleMania.

The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar) vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) ends before the match can even begin with both men brawling and B-Fab showing up to take out Scarlett.

General Manager Nick Aldis is about to get Bron Breakker to sign a SmackDown contract when Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confronts him. Bron does not sign and says he will hang onto it as he sees Pearce on Monday, then Jade Cargill shows up to meet with Nick Aldis. Aldis demands Pearce leave.

Tiffany Stratton beats "Michin" Mia Yim.

The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa) heads to the ring. Roman says he does not like to recap and would like to move forward, but there are words said on Monday that he could not let slide. He mentions Seth "Freakin'" Rollins saying he has the title and calls the World title "the loser bracket title" while calling everyone he beat to become champion "number twos." He also says one cannot walk around in his wife's clothes and say he is the clothes, and that he broke his back three months into his title reign and that workhorses do not limp. Roman says that while he works ten times less than Rollins, he makes ten times more, then asks the fans if they want "Seth Rollins money" or "Tribal Chief money" before calling "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes stupid and an idiot for having values. Roman says he will not beg to Cody and says Cody can either be "the best number two in the industry" or he can take a crack at number one again. Cody Rhodes shows up. After the commercial break, Cody proposes that he and Roman have the ring to themselves, and Roman sends Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa out of the ring. Cody says he had Roman at WrestleMania 39 and that Roman knows it, and states that while Rollins made some amazing comments, he disagrees about the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship being "the Hollywood title" due to its lineage and Dusty Rhodes nearly having it. He states that he still wants Roman's title and questions Roman's supposed ownership of everything, and states that he wants the title and he wants everything, and that he is coming for Roman Reigns. He then states that it is not happening at WrestleMania, as he has taken council with someone who knows Roman well: The Rock, who shows up and heads to the ring. Cody leaves the ring, then The Rock stares down Roman Reigns from across the ring before getting up close to him to end the show. (The decision to do this is heavily slated by the fans to the point that The Rock was booed when shown on the arena's video screen at a live event in Knoxville, Tennessee and the YouTube video of this happening becomes WWE's most disliked video overnight.)

This week on The SmackDown LowDown: Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne! Bobby Lashley, B-Fab and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)! Tiffany Stratton!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for January 19, 2024

Backstage, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso are met by Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Roman Reigns says he has to make everything right tonight regarding his Royal Rumble match. Roman and Heyman leave, then Solo says he will fix everything.

General Manager Nick Aldis oversees a contract signing for "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. LA Knight vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble. Styles arrives first and immediately signs the contract, followed by LA Knight (who also immediately signs), Randy Orton (who also immediately signs) and Roman Reigns. Instead of Roman, however, Paul Heyman shows up. Heyman says that the contract for the match has yet to have been put forth to Roman's attorney; therefore, Roman will not the sign the contract on this evening. Nick Aldis says that this is absolutely fine, as the three signatures that are already on it make it so that they can wrestle for the "vacant" Undisputed WWE Championship. An incensed Heyman heads to the ring apron and tells Aldis that he is concerned about him, as he looks good despite the "mediocre" job that he does, yet has no way to sell this match to the fans, the board of direction, or Roman Reigns. As Heyman says Roman should be defending the title in a one-on-one match, LA Knight tells Heyman to shut up, sayin it should be a one-on-one match after Roman's cousins saved him before threatening to beat Heyman up. He also says that "Johnny-come-latelys" Randy Orton and AJ Styles showed up and walked into the picture, but Styles tells him that he walked over him to get his shot at Roman and lose, and that he should be lucky to be in the match. Knight tells Styles to watch the bass in his voice, then says he will become the champion and that if he has to walk over him again and be the one to leave him laying, he will do it. Styles punches Knight, and the two of them brawl their way to the stage where officials rush in to restore order. Heyman laughs at the brawl before Orton grabs his tie, twirls it around and tells him his plan will not work when he lays out Solo Sikoa tonight.

Backstage, AJ Styles tells General Manager Nick Aldis that he wants LA Knight tonight. Aldis tells him that he has his match.

Santos Escobar, Humberto and Angel (now known as Legado del Fantasma) beat The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Carlito) after Escobar gets the blind tag and pins Carlito with a high stack-up pin.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince). Prince says they feel much better prepared against Tyler Bate and Butch with no mystery people showing up, and Wilson says they have been studying tape on Bate and Butch because they are "pretty, smart boys."

We hear from Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Lashley says The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering) has their attention, and Montez says this is not the smoke that The Final Testament wants. Dawkins says they have been the real monsters while The Final Testament has hidden in the dark, and Montez says that if they wanted a fight, all they had to do was ask. Lashley tells The Final Testament to name the time and place so they can show them what real intimidation looks like.

Tyler Bate and Butch - now known as Pete Dunne again - beat Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince).

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince). They say they were prepared for Butch, but not for Pete Dunne.

It's time for The Kevin Owens Show. Tonight's guest is Logan Paul. Logan Paul says it is not an honor to be on a "bottom of the barrel" show, then says the show is now his before thanking him for being the reason that he is in WWE. We then see footage from WrestleMania 37 where Owens gave Logan Paul a Stunner, and Logan says that he had to prove that he belonged in WWE as the crowd chants "one more time." Owens says he barely remembers giving Logan Paul a Stunner, then says that he has done this for almost 25 years and is but one of many that he has hit with the Stunner, and thought of Logan as "just another celebrity guest." He gives credit to Logan for sticking around and getting much better at wrestling than anyone would ever has thought, but as good as he is, he is not him. Logan says he is "one of one" and would rather not be one of the guys in the back, then says he is a multi-talented billionaire while "Kevin Owens is Kevin Owens." Owens says that he has heard everything Logan has said about him, then says there is a lot of things that Owens cannot mention about Logan is because Logan is "protected and sheltered" and given all the tools needed to win a title. He then says that while Logan made use of those tools to win a title, that makes him a joke that he has to end at Royal Rumble. Logan then says that Owens' right hand is protected and that Owens only knocked him out because he had a cast on. Logan then says he has knocked out everyone that he has clean and that it will only take a few seconds for him to knock Owens. Owens says that for the last ten years, he has proven that he can take a lot of punishment and can still get back up, and that there is no punch Logan can throw that can knock him out for three seconds. Owens then gives him his word that he will not have his cast on at Royal Rumble, then takes it off. When Owens turns his back to take the cast off, Logan punches Owens in the face. Owens uses the ropes to drag himself back to his feet, and when Logan sees that Owens is back up, both men brawl until Logan rams Owens' broken right hand into the ring post.

Backstage, Roman Reigns chews out the rest of The Bloodline (Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa). As Roman chews out Jimmy Uso, Solo intervenes and says last week was on him, and that tonight, he will show Roman that he will fix it.

Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, Asuka, Kairi Sane) watch the next match from ringside, with Bayley guesting on commentary.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance beat Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (now known as Unholy Union). After the match, Asuka and Kairi Sane dance around with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships before handing the titles back to the champions.

We hear from The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering). Kross calls Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) "the yes men of the company" and that The Final Testament do not get opportunities because they are disruptors and savages. He says that they will meet face-to-face next week, and then, the world will see who the true "All Mighty" actually are.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Carmelo Hayes. Carmelo Hayes that things like what happened last week happen, and that he and Austin Theory were able to walk away from it. He says he did not win, but he did not win, and that he will ball out because he is "Him." Austin Theory and Grayson Waller show up, and Theory takes the interview as Carmelo getting rewarded with an interview in his own city. Carmelo challenges him for next week, and as Theory says he is busy, Grayson accepts on his behalf, much to Theory's chagrin.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. LA Knight ends with Jimmy Uso showing up only for Solo Sikoa to show up seconds later and jump Knight from behind before attacking Styles. After hitting Styles with a Samoan Spike, Solo immediately states "Two down...one to go!" before calling out Randy Orton.

Randy Orton beats Solo Sikoa after "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and LA Knight beat up Jimmy Uso as he heads to wards the ring and Solo goes for a Samoan Spike only to get laid out with an RKO. After the match, Knight, Styles and Orton stare each other down, then Knight punches Styles out before Orton hits Knight with an RKO. Styles gets back up, and he gets an RKO, too. Suddenly, Roman Reigns shows up from behind Orton and hits Orton with a Superman Punch before signing the contract for his Fatal 4-Way Match at Royal Rumble. Roman then goes for a Spear, but when he charges at Orton, Orton hits him with an RKO.

This week on The SmackDown LowDown: The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Zelina Vega, Carlito)! Kayden Carter and Katana Chance! Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)!

Kayla Braxton interviews Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman as they enter the arena. Roman simply laughs when asked about The Rock.

Logan Paul guests on commentary for the next match.

Kevin Owens beats Santos Escobar to win the Unites States Championship Tournament and face Logan Paul for the WWE United States Championship. Before the match, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro show up and take out Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, with their brawl making their way to the back. After the match, Logan tells Owens that he gets to face "the greatest United States champion in history," then mocks the fans for thinking a Canadian could ever have the United States Championship. He also says Owens beating him for the title is like the Canucks winning a Stanley Cup, and that it will never happen. When Logan Paul explains why, Owens punches him in the face.

We see a video package for Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for the right to face Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship later tonight.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Logan Paul, who is soon led to the trainer's room by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Cameron Grimes shows up and mentions Logan finally meeting Kevin Owens, and officials have to step in before a brawl takes place.

Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) head to the ring. Lashley calls 2023 the most challenging year of his career because the work he put in did not translate into the results that he wanted before he hooked up with The Street Profits. He then says the three of them will take everything they deserve in 2024. Montez Ford says they are going to hop on the trend and take full advantage of every opportunity at championship gold, and Angelo Dawkins says it has been a while since they held tag team gold and tells The Judgment Day to keep their heads on a swivel. Lashley says he plans to get back to being "The All Mighty" this year by declaring for the men's Royal Rumble Match. All of a sudden, Killer Kross and Scarlett appear on the TitanTron before they both appear on the ramp. All of a sudden, they are joined by Paul Ellering, and Lashley and The Street Profits are attacked from behind by The Authors of Pain - Akam and Rezar. The Street Profits are hit with the Super Collider by The Authors of Pain, and Kross hits Lashley with a pump handle DDT.

We see a video package of what happened to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles at the hands of Solo Siko and Jimmy Uso last September as well as his recent return.

Iyo Sky retains the WWE Women's Championship against "Michin" Mia Yim (now known as just "Michin").

Backstage, Paul Heyman says The Rock namedropped Roman Reigns because he wants to sit at the head of the table, and to do that, one must be invited to a dinner of relevancy. He says The Rock has not been invited, nor will he ever be, for he is looking for a shortcut to the headlines and the only ways to guarantee going viral are dating Taylor Swift and calling out Roman Reigns. He admits that CM Punk was "the OG Paul Heyman Guy" until he upgraded to advocate and then to wiseman, and that whoever wins tonight's main event will be smashed by Roman Reigns as there is not one man who can beat him.

Backstage, Iyo Sky is congratulated by the rest of Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota, Asuka, Kairi Sane). Bayley says he sees greatness in everyone, but greatness needs gold. Dragunov says he has suffered too much to become NXT Champion and stay champion, and that he will do whatever it takes to remain champion. Suddenly, Carmelo Hayes shows up. Carmelo Hayes says he hates to interrupt Trick Williams, then says he knows who attacked Trick because it is the same person who attacked him. As Dragunov leaves to let Carmelo and Trick handle their business, Carmelo stops Dragunov, saying it was him. Carmelo says it was Dragunov who took him and Trick out, as nobody benefits more from Carmelo and Trick being separated, and that Dragunov knew he would have to face both of them and did not want to take that chance. He also says that Dragunov made it so that people would point the finger at him and blame him for Trick being attacked. Dragunov then says that he did not attack him, if he did get attacked, and then tells Trick to talk to Carmelo. Carmelo says he and Trick are on the same page now and that Dragunov does not deserve the NXT Championship, and as Carmelo tires to take it away from him, he accidentally knocks Trick down.

Backstage, Wes Lee is seen with crutches.

Wes Lee is on a crutch in the middle of the ring. Wes says he was entertaining the thought of beating "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to become North American Champion again, but it will not be happening at Deadline. He says that Dominik cannot handle his heart, which can take on any opponent under any circumstance and the one that people cheered on week after week to inspire him to do things he never thought he could, but his heart and that support cannot help him right now. He says that it will not help with the excruciating pain and that it will take time and surgery for him to come back. Wes admits he does not know when he will return, but when he does, he will further cement his legacy as one of the best to ever do this. He says this is not a goodbye, as he is far from being done, and for now, he will see the fans later. As Wes Lee leaves, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and mocks Wes Lee. Dominik says he does not doubt that Wes Lee needs surgery, as he looks like he could barely stand, then says his back hurts for carrying WWE for the past two years, then says he has the night off. Wes Lee tells Dominik he still has a match at Deadline, and Rey Mysterio says he will be there to make sure the match happens when he is the corner of Dominik's new opponent: Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee heads to the ring, and both he and Dominik brawl until Dominik flees.

Byron Saxton is in the ring with Fallon Henley, Tiffany Stratton, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend and Blair Davenport. Tiffany says it will all start and stop with her, as she is the favorite going into the women's Iron Survivor Challenge because she is the best and future of the women's division. Kelani says she may be the newest woman coming in, but last time she checked, nobody else in the match was in it last year. She says her gymnastics career has kept her endurance top-notch, and that nobody will be able to keep up with her. Lash says nobody wants to hear Kelani speak, and says she begs to differ about Tiffany's athleticism. She says she knows a few things about multiple pinfalls thanks to Noam Dar, and she will bully everyone into the penalty box. Blair says she is not here to one-up everyone with one-liners and says she does not like anyone in the ring right now, and that she does not care about anyone's opinions and that everyone is afraid of her putting them on the shelf. Fallon says she does not care whose ass she has to kick to win the match, but Tiffany tells her she has no chance of winning while cutting Lash off. After Byron Saxton says everyone told her they would not do this, Fallon says well-behaved women rarely make history before punching Tiffany, starting a brawl.

Axiom vs. Nathan Frazer ends with Fallon Henley, Tiffany Stratton, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend and Blair Davenport brawling their way into the ring. As this goes on, Nikkita Lyons returns and kicks Blair Davenport in the head on the ramp.

At Chase University, Andre Chase addresses the student body about what was mentioned in the press conference last week, then says the person who put the university in severe debt is him. Due to the investigation, the university is now under academic probation and that a few sanctions have been placed on the university, and anyone who enrolled after the investigation began will lose out on financial aid. Chase says he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars plus interest, and that he had to take out a loan after spending all his own money on the university and spending university assets afterwards. He says that he cannot pay back the loan and that he will have to do something to pay it back as quickly as possible. After taking ideas from other students, Riley Osborne suddenly speaks up, saying that Chase should look into taking a course on financial risk while also bringing what he learns from it into Chase University. Chase likes the idea, and Thea Hail ends up looking at Riley like she is in love with him, which does not go unnoticed by Jacy Jayne.

Backstage, Trick Williams confronts Carmelo Hayes over the footage from "NXT Anonymous." Carmelo Hayes tells him that they will talk about it after the men's Last Chance match.

In a video from X, Lexis King says that when one is a star, the camera always finds them, and now everyone is talking about Carmelo's match tonight and how he will supposedly interfere in it. He says he would not cost him a shot at the Iron Survivor Challenge, but at the same time, Carmelo knows that he does not miss, either.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Eddy Thorpe, who says that his ribs are not 100%, but he is still going out there, and if he wins tonight, he gets a shot at Dijak for injuring him.

Tyler Bate beats Joe Coffey, Carmelo Hayes and Eddy Thorpe in a men's Last Chance Fatal 4-Way to qualify for the men's Iron Survivor Challenge. During the match, medical staff have to check on Thorpe after Joe Coffey hits Thorpe with a spinebuster on the ring steps. After the match, Tyler Bate says that he is the last to qualify and that a match unlike any other awaits him. He says to hell with peace and tranquility, and that the other competitors have no chance. Suddenly, Dijak shows up and says Tyler is as delusional as Eddy Thorpe before kicking Eddy in the ribs as he is held to the back. He then says that Tyler's heart must be working overtime if he thinks he will win. As Tyler says he has much more than just a chance, Bron Breakker shows up and says neither Dijak or Tyler know what they are in form, and that they should both hope and pray that they are the last entrant in the match or else they are going in the penalty box, which will become the safest place to be. He tells them to stay in the box after he sends them in there, then Josh Briggs shows up and says everyone underestimates him and that he likes it like that, as he has waited for his moment his entire life and he is betting on himself and shocking the world at Deadline. Breakker says Briggs is stupider than he looks before Trick Williams shows up and states that he will whoop everyone in the match. As Dijak says the only trick that Trick should be whooping is Carmelo Hates, Trick punches him in the face, starting a brawl that security and officials quickly gets involved in to break it up.

Backstage, Carmelo Hayes talks with Ava, then Trick Williams confronts Carmelo, wanting to know if Carmelo told Lexis King to take him out. Carmelo denies it and says he will take him out Saturday to prove it, with Ava going to the office to make the match official. Carmelo says he is not sticking to his word and is standing on business, but Trick says that Carmelo is opening the show while he closes it.

Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin have a face-to-face meeting in the ring. Dragunov tells Corbin he has turned their championship into more than a battle for the title on his shoulder after he brought his personal life into it, and while Corbin can mock him, he will pay for mocking his sacrifices. Corbin considers Dragunov's sacrifices "excuses," and says he has turned his back on his son, took a plane to America and left, and makes excuses so he can sleep at night, as those excuses are what his father did to him. Dragunov quickly takes off his suit and tie, then says he is trying to contain this, for if he unleashes it now and not on Saturday, then there will be no match on Saturday and he will leave in an ambulance with no opportunity to add his title to his lavish life. He then calls Corbin "a materialistic son-of-a-bitch," but Corbin says this is about vindication. Corbin says this is just another high-profile match for Dragunov to prove to his son why he is here, but he has to win to prove that his work to get where he is was worth it. Dragunov topples the table, but Corbin says he has been through hell and back and has always found a way. He then dares Dragunov to put him through the table in the ring and do it for his family, but he does not. Corbin says he will take away his only reason for being here, but Dragunov grabs Corbin suddenly and tells him that the only one who can destroy the dragon is the dragon himself. Afterwards, Tyler Bate, Trick Williams, Bron Breakker, Dijak and Josh Briggs brawl their way into the ring, and security and officials have to break up the brawl. The brawl ends with Bron Breakker putting Trick Williams through a table.

Rhea whispers into Dominik's ear while Cody whispers into Dragunov's, and Dominik dares Dragunov to put the NXT title on the line tonight and prove he is half the man he says he is. Cody takes this as Dominik not being willing to defend his title, but Rhea says he has been carrying WWE on his back the entire year and has won his title again. He thanks the fans for creating the environment that a long list of WWE Superstars want to visit, as everyone is Raw, SmackDown and NXT. He says he could not say yes to Carmelo Hayes fast enough last week, as they share the same common values as they go into his match with Bron Breakker. Suddenly, Bron Breakker shows up, and the fans chant "Bron Breakker Sucks" to John Cena's theme before Breakker says it is a big night for NXT before stating the fans came here to see him (to which Cena jokes they can't), not Cena.
