Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 21, 2025

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is met by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who pretends to be a valet in the parking garage.

CM Punk heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Punk talks about how he returned for championship gold only to be sidetracked along the way, then states that he is back on track towards winning a world title. He admits that Gunther is one of the best wrestlers in the world and that he looks forward to lacing up with him, and with the fans' support, he promises that he will leave it all in the ring and give everything he has at SummerSlam. He says that he only has two weeks to prepare for Gunther, but he has been training for this for his entire life, as he is not just any other wrestler or challenger; he is the best in the world. Suddenly, Gunther shows up and heads to the ring. The crowd chants "You tapped out!" at Gunther before he can ever speak, then Gunther syas he is not here to throw insult at Punk or create any drama, but to point out similarities: they are here to make money and win championships, and both consider themselves the best. He admits that they both have massive ego, but while the fans have waited for Punk to return for years, his own ego is justified and based on results. He says the best in the world is the man who holds the World Heavyweight Championship. Gunther says he only concentrates on what happens after the bell rings, and after the bell rings, he will make Punk regret he ever stepped foot in a wrestling ring and make Punk realize he was right when he says Punk will never be the best in the world and win his title.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer says Chelsea Green is not her problem when Naomi shows up and introduces herself. Vaquer says she knows who Naomi is, and says she will see her at Clash in Paris after telling her Iyo Sky walked her like a dog before their match was interrupted.

Sheamus beats Rusev. During the match, Rusev removes a turnbuckle cover, but Sheamus uses the exposed turnbuckle against him. Rusev then grabs a shillelagh as the referee replaces the turnbuckle cover, and Sheamus counters with a Brogue Kick to win the match.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews El Grande Americano. Dragon Lee shows up and calls El Grande Americano a fake, but Americano says he is a luchador and shoves Dragon Lee, causing both men get into a brawl.

Backstage, Bayley is met by Lyra Valkyria, who is surprised that Bayley asked to partner with her to compete the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships tonight. Lyra reminds Bayley of recent events, but Bayley is more focused on their match.

The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and American Made (Brutus and Julius Creed) in a Triple Threat tag team match to become #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championships despite El Grande Americano attacking Dragon Lee following Dragon Lee superkicking Julius and Brutus after Ivy Nile shoves Joaquin Wilde off the top rope to the outside.

Backstage, Iyo Sky believes that The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) will be Women's Tag Team Champions, and The Kabuki Warriors believe Iyo Sky will be World Women's Champion again. The Kabuki Warriors leave, then Stephanie Vaquer shows up and says that if Iyo wins tonight, they will see who would have won in a rematch. Iyo says she had Vaquer beat, but Vaquer says they do not need to wait until Clash in Paris to find out. Iyo Sky agrees, and says they can do this tonight. Vaquer accepts the challenge.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to get medically cleared and quit stalling. Meanwhile, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles is a janitor, and after Dominik runs into him, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up trying to figure out what to do next. Grayson Waller shows up and says Austin Theory is injured and that A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) is done, making him a free agent.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky takes exception to the boos and says she should be in New York City for the premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, but she is here instead, because that is what leaders do and she has important business to discuss. She talks about how she narrowly won at Evolution and did what she did what she said she would do, then says she was honest about it while Lyra Valkyria keeps bogarting opportunities for other women. She asks who needs two championships despite being a double champion in the past, and says Lyra's ambitions are completely selfish. Becky then calls Lyra out to the ring. Lyra shows up and heads to the ring, and Becky says that they are one for one in singles competition and that she made her a star, but the trilogy ends at SummerSlam. Becky states that this time, if Lyra loses, she can never challenge her for the Women's Intercontinental Championship ever again. Lyra says that every time she takes care of a problem, it comes back to haunt her, probably because she never goes far enough. Lyra accepts the challenge, stating there will be no count-outs or disqualifications and that there must be a winner. Lyra says that every time she takes care of a problem, it comes back to haunt her, probably because she never goes far enough. Lyra accepts the challenge, stating there will be no count-outs or disqualifications and that there must be a winner. She tells Becky not to disrespect her or the title, then says she will be the bigger woman and shake her hand. Lyra goes for the handshake, but sees the Manhandle Slam coming and counters it. As Lyra raises up the Women's Intercontinental Championship, Bayley shows up for the next match.

The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez) retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. During the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio gets on the apron, and Lyra Valkyria confronts Dominik for it. Raquel catches up to Lyra, and she goes for a big boot only to hit Dominik instead. Medical checks on Dominik, but it ends up being "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who chases Dominik to the back. Outside of the ring, Becky Lynch grabs Lyra Valkyria and throws her into the ring step before hiding under the ring. Raquel goes for the hot tag afterwards and hits Bayley with the Tejana Bomb to retain.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sami Zayn. Sami says he could have used a little more time to heal up, but it needs to end between him and Karrion Kross as Kross is getting in the way of his goals and took last week's gauntlet match away from him, and it will end right now.

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio runs into Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. General Manager Adam Pearce suddenly shows up and demands that Dominik either get a doctor's evaluation right now or relinquish the Intercontinental Championship.

Karrion Kross beats Sami Zayn. During the match, Scarlett tries to hand a pipe to Kross, but cannot hand it to him in time as Sami hits the Exploder suplex. Scarlett hands the pipe to Kross as Sami goes for the Helluva Kick, then grabs at Sami to allow Kross to hit Sami in the ribs with the pipe for the win.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles are waiting on the results for "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio at medical when Styles is attacked from behind by Dominik, who says that he is cleared and that he will see Styles at SummerSlam.

Texas rapper That Mexican OT as well as Galleria Furniture owner "Mattress Mack" Jim McIngvale are seen in the front row.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky ends when The Secret Hervice (Piper Niven and Alba Fyre) show up only to be fended off by Vaquer, who is soon attacked from behind by Chelsea Green. After the match, Chelsea throws Iyo out of the ring, but Iyo hits her with a missile drop kick soon after as The Secret Hervice attack Vaquer. Vaquer and Iyo clean house, but they are soon attacked by Naomi. Naomi attacks Iyo as The Secret Hervice gang up on Vaquer, then Rhea Ripley shows up, takes out The Secret Hervice and takes out Naomi. Iyo, Vaquer and Rhea then make quick work of Chelsea Green.

Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed head to the ring. Heyman states that he stands with the future of the industry in Breakker and Bronson, then says that he has a lot of things to get off his chest before Roman Reigns arrives, which Roman does before Heyman can utter another word. Heyman states that he does not want to come off as disrespectful or rude, and tells Roman that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins will be out of action "for a long, long time." He then says that this opens up a leadership void and that they can fix things and put them back together, as Roman knows deep in his heart that they are far better together than opposing each other. Heyman says Roman will always be his family, because "I love you, my Tribal Chief." He then hands Roman the microphone. Roman says that a few years ago, he would have considered that "wise words from a wiseman," but he does not consider Heyman a wiseman anymore; he considers him a dumbass. Breakker and Bronson hold Heyman back, and Roman warns them that Heyman will do what he did to him in a few years and try to take all the credit, stating that he, not Heyman, created "the Tribal Chief." Roman says he is still Tribal Chief because the fans acknowledge him, and because he was the greatest champion of all time. He says Heyman had a hand in that, but not in keeping the championship, stating that The Bloodline ("Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa) made that all happen. Roman admits that he lost the title, then states that Heyman claimed that he tucked tail to do whatever when he was really raising "the future Bloodline." Roman claims that Heyman thought The Bloodline was just another wrestling faction when they were really family, which Roman claims is "God's work" as he proclaims that Heyman could never make The Bloodline. He then states that what really bothers him is that Heyman was just a business partner when he made him part of the family, and that Heyman threw it all away for a best friend that he had not talked to in order a decade. Roman then credits Heyman for ruining The Bloodline. Breakker takes the microphone and tells Roman that he is not wanted anymore, as he is "yesterday's news" and only relevant five years ago, and is only taking a spot in his ring. He says that Heyman will not stab him in the back because he holds value in WWE while Roman is worthless, and proclaims that he is "the big dog" now. Breakker then tells Roman to do what he does best and turn around and leave, and Roman says that he did not hear a word Breakker says and to use his microphone. He tosses his mic to Breakker, then hits him with a Superman Punch. Roman then hits Bronson with several punches, but Breakker hits Roman with a Spear. Breakker and Bronson gang up on Roman, and as Bronson goes for a tsunami, Jey Uso shows up and fights the both of them. Roman and Jey then simultaneously Spear Bronson and Breakker at the same time to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 14, 2025

Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show with an interview from Michael Cole. Gunther says that last week, "Main Event" Jey Uso looked him in the eye and says that he was not afraid of him, and tonight, he is here to let everyone know that Jey Uso is full of crap. When the fans boo Gunther and starts a "Yeet!" chant, Gunther gets frustrated and turns on the fans, and says that ever since he stepped foot in WWE, he has been the greatest gift it has ever received. He talks about how he has been a champion for much of his time in WWE and is currently the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time, and refuses to let someone like Jey Uso ruin this for him. Gunther then urges Jey Uso to put his chest out and walk into WrestleMania with more confidence than he has ever had, because the bell has to ring, and when that happens, he will put him down for a fourth consecutive time. Gunther says he has been told the last two weeks that he went too far with Jimmy Uso and that he lost control, then says he has never lost control in his life, and that when he bathed in his brother's blood, he was in full control, and he loved it. He says that had he had no control, he would have drowned both Jey and Jimmy in Jimmy's blood, then says that he looks forward to telling his mother how much he enjoyed it when he walks out of WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion.

We hear from Bianca Belair, who says that she is in her own head with everything that has been going on as of late, and that she has done nothing for herself but standing up for herself and speaking the truth. She says you do not have to like the truth, but you cannot deny it, and the truth is that she is in a Triple Threat Match. Bianca says that she must prove that she is the best Bianca that anyone has ever seen, and that there is nothing Iyo Sky or Rhea Ripley can do to stop her from becoming champion.

Bayley beats Liv Morgan after Lyra Valkyria grabs onto Bayley from behind to block the Ob-Liv-Ion. This happens after Lyra Valkyria brawls with Raquel Rodriguez on the outside for putting Liv Morgan's foot on the bottom rope following a Bayley-to-Belly.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says that she can see through Bianca Belair and that Bianca thrives on playing with her emotions. She says Bianca fails to realize that when she loses something she loves, she will stop at nothing to get it back. She says she did not have to give Iyo Sky a championship match, but afterwards, she took a page out of her playbook to get her book. Rhea says she cannot wait to make Rhea feel what it is like to be the bad guy when she gets back what belongs to her.

Rey Mysterio beats Julius Creed after all seconds are banned from ringside and El Grande Americano shows up only for Rey to knock Julius into him after initially trying to remove El Grande Americano's mask. After the match, El Grande Americano attacks Rey, then fights off The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) when they show back up. He then hits Rey with a diving headbutt from the top rope, and it is soon revealed that El Grande Americano has once again loaded his mask with a weighted foreign object.

We hear from The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik). Ivar says The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) run their mouths about how they are the best of all time, but Erik says they have blazed a path of destruction and won gold across continents for over a decade. Ivar says they had New Day dead to rights, and Erik says The New Day took the cowards' way out. They then say that The New Day took this to another level by coming for Erik's neck and trying to end his career, and at WrestleMania, this will not be a match or a fight; instead, this will be war.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). Kofi and Xavier says they have been at war the whole time they have been here, and that it will stop when they become tag team champions once again. Xavier says that after they become champions, everyone else will have no choice but to thank God for The New Day.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Karrion Kross. After the match, Logan Paul shows up to congratulate AJ Styles for winning in Sacramento, California before mockingly comparing it to Los Angeles and San Francisco - claiming that the fans in Sacramento “weren’t cool enough to live in Los Angeles or smart enough to live in San Francisco” - before saying that Styles proved that their match at WrestleMania will "cook." Logan Paul then shows off a vignette of himself, but Styles is not impressed and dares Logan Paul to face him in the ring right now. Kross tries to sneak attack Styles, and Styles has to fend off both Kross and Logan. Styles hits Kross with a reverse DDT, but Logan hits Styles with a knockout punch followed by the Paulveriser.

Paul Heyman is seen waiting for Roman Reigns backstage.

"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring. After an encore of his theme, Jey says he said what he had to say to Gunther last week, and while he admits he is crashing out, he is locked in for himself, his family and his fans. He says that Gunther is mad and afraid that he will beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship in front of 60,000 people at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker says this is the biggest title defense of his career before he is suddenly jumped by The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito). General Manager Adam Pearce breaks up the brawl along with officials.

Penta vs. Finn Balor ends in a no-contest after Carlito shows up only for Bron Breakker to show up soon after and break Finn with a Spear as Carlito runs through the ring to run away from Breakker. After the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Carlito gang up on Breakker, but Breakker breaks them both at the same time with a Spear. Breakker is then focused on Penta, but Penta is able to stop Breakker in his tracks and send him tumbling out of the ring before taking everyone out with a dive from the top rope.

We hear from Iyo Sky. She says Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley forget that she is Women's World Champion as they push her out of their fights as if she means nothing, yet she is the reason they are fighting in the first place. Iyo says she has what they want and that she is done being ignored and forgotten, and that Rhea and Bianca will have to go through her to take her title and she is not afraid to defend against both of them, as she has beaten them before and she will beat them again.

Backstage, CM Punk joins Paul Heyman as he waits for Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns shows up and sees what is going on, then Heyman notices Roman and tries to catch up with him. Roman and Heyman head to the ring, and after the commercial break, Roman shows his appreciation towards those who are loyal to him, then asks Heyman how he could betray him. Heyman tells Roman that it was not a betrayal, but a payback of a favor that he owed. Roman says he is the one being screwed over in this favor, then says he will never ask for a favor, as he takes what he wants. Roman says he did not ask for a favor, then asks why he is the one to have to pick up the tab on it. Suddenly, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up and heads to the ring. Rollins says that Roman is putting the pieces together all by himself, and yet he is still missing one piece of the puzzle. He calls their match the most important in match of WWE, WrestleMania and the industry, as the winner will define the future of the industry. He says that it cannot be Roman, because if this business is filled with people like him that do not show up outside of when it is convenient and expects everyone else to do the dirty work, then the business dies. He also says that the business cannot be filled with "little CM Punks" who cannot pick up their ball and go home and only come back off the success of others. Rollins says he will sacrifice mental and physical well-being to do what is best for business, and that he must win. He says that favors do not happen by chance; they are a choice, and that he chose not to put Paul Heyman in the hospital last week, and Heyman can choose whether or not to pay that debt to him. Rollins admits that Heyman is a scumbag and that he expects nothing from him. He then says Heyman is in CM Punk's corner by choice, not chance, and that Roman must figure out why Heyman is picking Punk over him. Roman says Rollins is right, and that Heyman has made his choice. He then says that he has made his, and he punches out Rollins and throws him into the ring post. Heyman acknowledges Roman as his Tribal Chief, but Roma shoves him to the mat. CM Punk shows up and brawls with Roman. Punk checks on Heyman, then Roman gets back in the ring and Spears Punk before going for a ground and pound. Rollins then gets back in the ring and hits Roman in the back with a metal folding chair much like he did when he turned on The Shield before hitting Punk and Roman with The Stomp.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 26, 2024

In memory of Sid Eudy "Sycho Sid", 1960 - 2024.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Liv Morgan) head to the ring to start tonight's show. After a replay of what they did to Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest last week, JD McDonagh says the beating they got was a long time coming, and Finn Balor says Rhea and Priest are the bad guys around here, not them, due to their betrayal. He says that they deserved that beating and that it is a preview of what will happen at Bash In Berlin. Liv thanks Rhea for putting herself in the position to lose The Judgment Day, and says she will find out that she and Dominik will always be on top. Dominik says that Liv does things for her that Rhea has never done, like help him beat "[his] deadbeat day" Rey Mysterio, and with her full support, he is entering the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament and winning the whole thing. The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) suddenly shows up, and Rey tells Dominik that he is a lost soul and needs help, and that when he was with Rhea, "one of you had a set, and it sure wasn't [Dominik]." Rey says somebody needs to put Dominik in his place, but Dominik says he beat him and had him disappear for weeks. Rey says that Dominik was always a jackass, but now that he is with Liv, he is "an even bigger jackass." Liv takes offense to that statement, and Rey threatens to slap the moustache off Dominik's face. Dominik says he would like to see him try, and McDonagh goes for a cheap shot only for Rey to punch him back. The Latino World Order soon cleans house.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito) beats The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) in an eight-man tag team match after Liv Morgan pulls Dominik out of the way of Rey's top rope splash, allowing Dominik to pin Rey with a La Magistral Cradle for the win. After the match, The Judgment Day continues to attack The Latino World Order. As Dominik is about to splash Rey through the announce table, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest show up. Rhea beats up Liv, and Damian Priest distracts Dominik long enough for him to run into Rhea. Liv jumps on top of Rhea, and Priest fends off the rest of The Judgment Day, but Rhea and Priest soon stand tall. Carlito gets South of Heaven, while JD McDonagh gets Riptide after receiving a strong clothesline from Rhea just seconds beforehand.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews The Miz. Miz admits that he has had a bad couple of weeks, and it feels like every time he does the right thing, something goes wrong. He says that it time to right some wrongs and get one step closer to the Intercontinental Championship. "Big" Bronson Reed shows up and says Miz came after him because he took out R-Truth, and R-Truth came after him for taking out Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. He tells Miz that after he decimates Braun Strowman, he will come back for him.

Backstage, Xavier Woods is met by Kofi Kingston. Woods and Kofi bury the hatchet regarding last week and focus on the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler). They brag about injuring Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Dakota Kai and Zelina Vega, and state that Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) will be added to that count before telling them to step up and shoot their shot.

Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) beat Pure Fusion Collective (Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) after Zelina Vega attacks Sonya Deville on the outside.

We see VHS cassette footage of Bo Dallas looking back on his accomplishments. He says that past mistakes will not be made again, as the false prophet continues to make himself known to the world as a loving shepherd leading his sheep into the mouths of wolves. He says that American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile) is not a family, but blasphemy, and that The Wyatt Sicks (Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross) have given Chad Gable chance and chance, yet Gable has refused to remove the scales from his eyes. He says that they must cut the head of the snake so that the blood can wash away the sins of the damned. Bo Dallas accepts Gable's challenge, and says that what is about to happen is more than a reckoning; it is a purge.

Drew McIntyre heads to the ring. McIntyre makes fun of CM Punk's promos, then says he is telling the truth and that the truth is that Punk is scared of him, which he has known since Royal Rumble after Punk kept attacking him from behind every chance he got. He says that the fans continue to chant Punk's name despite this, and accuses the fans of being enablers for CM Punk before stating that what Punk will be going through in their strap match will be on them. McIntyre says the fans has chosen nostalgia over what is going on right now, and as he states that Punk will regret challenging him to a strap match as he lashes him again and again, Punk shows up behind McIntyre and strikes McIntyre with a leather strap. McIntyre and Punk soon brawl, and when McIntyre gets the upper hand, he grabs the strap only to be slammed into the commentary table and struck with the leather strap again. Security shows up to break up the brawl, and McIntyre is able to flee through the crowd before Punk takes out a few members of security.

We hear from Braun Strowman, who reminds "Big" Bronson Reed that when he gets in the ring with him, he will find out why he is called "The Monster Among Monsters."

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats Karrion Kross and Kofi Kingston in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament.

In Instagram footage from earlier today, Gunther says he is focused on Bash In Berlin, for as much as SummerSlam was the day that he saved professional wrestling, Bash In Berlin will be the day that Randy Orton will have met his match.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton says that for the entirety of his career, he has listened to the voices in his head, but as of late, he has been listening to the voices of the fans, and he thanks them for the warm reception, saying it means the world to him even if it took fifteen years. He says he won a lot of titles in his career, but the won that he loves the most is the World Heavyweight Championship, as it is the first world title that he won and that he has history engrained in that built. He also talks about how he retired the original World Heavyweight title after unifying it with the WWE Championship, but when the title was re-introduced, he was at home recovering from spinal fusion history and did not know if he would compete ever again. Orton says that he wants to engrain his name in the World Heavyweight Championship again and that he has the opportunity on Saturday to create a new legacy. He says that he will be stepping into enemy territory in Berlin, Germany and that he will be facing a living legend in Gunther, whose head is shoved so far up his own ass that he has no idea what he will be facing in him. Orton says he grew up in the front of the WWE fans and that he signed his first contract when he was nineteen years old, and that the fans have watched him become humble and learn from his mistakes over and over again until he stepped out from the shadows and took them out one by one. He says that Gunther was an arrogant young prick at that age and that this may be the one thing they have in common, and while he may have been humbled, Gunther has never been put in his place, which will happen on Saturday. Orton says it only had to be about the World Heavyweight Championship, but Gunther made it personal by talking about his family and his personal demons. He says he has beaten those demons, which are more powerful than any opponent Gunther has ever known. He then says he will beat Gunther just like he beat his personal demons.

We hear from The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn), who say that Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are not the unstoppable force they were thought to be, and that they will expose them for the frauds that they are while staying Women's Tag Team Champions.

Braun Strowman vs. "Big" Bronson Reed ends with a parking lot brawl and Bronson Reed hitting Braun Strowman with the Tsunami on top of a car. After the break, medical staff checks on Braun Strowman, who says that he cannot feel his fingers. Meanwhile, "Big" Bronson Reed has walked off the scene under his own power, refusing medical attention.

Pete Dunne beats The Miz and Xavier Woods in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament after pulling the referee out of the ring during a pinfall attempt by Woods, booting Woods in the face and hitting The Miz with the Bitter End.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker congratulates "Main Event" Jey Uso and Pete Dunne for qualifying, then warns Jey Uso to keep his name out of his mouth as a member of Jey's family has never beaten a member of his family. He then warns the eventual tournament winner that the worst is yet to come.

We hear from Chad Gable and American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile), saying he does not hide behind a mask and has his family do his dirty work. He then says that the world will find out that Bo Dallas is an ordinary guy who has been messing with someone who is not only anything but extraordinary, but also "American Made."

We hear from Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Priest says The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Liv Morgan) have given their explanation, and says they are indeed the bad guy. Rhea says The Judgment Day made them the bad guys that they are. Priest says The Judgment Day want to play victim, but they will become victims at Bash In Berlin, while Rhea Ripley says that they will show no mercy.

WWE acknowledges the life and career of Sid Eudy, also known as "Sid Justice," "Sycho Sid," and "Sid Vicious."

Uncle Howdy beats Chad Gable after Ivy Nile distracts the referee only for Howdy to send Gable into the referee when he breaks out of the ankle lock. This leads to The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) showing up to attack Uncle Howdy, but Howdy laughs and the lights go out. The rest of The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan) show up to go on the attack, and they, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile all fight their way through the crowd while Gable and Uncle Howdy fight it out in the ring again. At this point, the referee has come to. Uncle Howdy then hits Gable with Sister Abigail for the win.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 29, 2024

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring dressed in custom referee gear to start tonight's show. Rollins says he is here to lay out some rules and regulations for Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk at SummerSlam. CM Punk shows up first, followed by McIntyre. Rollins reminds both men that they are not to lay a finger on each other before SummerSlam or else their match is off, and if they lay a finger on him tonight, it will also cause the match to be off. CM Punk rolls out of the ring, and McIntyre tells him to get back in. Punk says he is not scared or worried about what McIntyre or Rollins will do, but what he will do, and is taking himself out of the situation. Rollins sees this as Punk trying to get his way and tells him that this is not how things are going to work, and that he volunteered to be special guest referee because they scared off all the other officials, and that he can give up his position and call off the match. Rollins then says he wants this fight, as does McIntyre and the rest of the fans, and if Punk wants this fight, then he will get back into the ring. Punk gets back in the ring, telling Rollins to enjoy this while he can. McIntyre says that he and Rollins may not see eye-to-eye, but at least their rivalry is a professional one, and that Punk is a corporate ass-kisser and "the real enemy" while he and Rollins are real workhorses. Rollins agrees that he hates Punk as much as McIntyre does, but tells McIntyre that if anyone hates him as much as Punk, it is also him. Rollins then says there is only one rule and regulation and that they will listen to everything he has to say, as he calls the shots and he is the law, and if either man gets out of line, he will put their head in the dirt. Punk tells Rollins that he hopes that he can referee and hopes he calls it down the middle, and warns him that if he screws him, he will deal with him in the back. He also tells Punk that he does not want his help in the match, but McIntyre tells Punk he should be worrying about him. McIntyre tells Punk that he hates him and cannot go anywhere without hearing about him, and that he has said everything he has wanted to say about him. He says the bell is Punk's enemy, for when it rings, he will destroy him. He also hopes that Rollins has compassion in the match, as he will not stop until Punk's heart does and he will be paid handsomely to do something he would willingly do for free. Punk says he absent from WWE for ten years and the fans still chanted his name, and that McIntyre is the third wheel in their match at SummerSlam and that both he and Rollins get to be in his orbit and breathe the same air he does. He hopes that McIntyre enjoyed the last six months of his career, for they were the best six months he had and that he ruined it when he hurt him. He also says that McIntyre "dumbed" himself out of his position because he is his own enemy and a worse one than Punk. Punk then says that he has heart, unlike McIntyre, and that he has the fans chanting his name while he has nothing. McIntyre flashes Punk's necklace, and Rollins laughs at McIntyre dares Punk to take it from him.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, JD McDonagh) and Carlito find their clubhouse vandalized, and Rhea chalks it up to Liv Morgan getting revenge after last week, stating Liv has stepped over the line one too many times.

Backstage, Damian Priest catches up with The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, JD McDonagh) and Carlito in the vandalized clubhouse. Finn Balor tells Gunther that he insulted everyone in the group when he insulted him, and that he will bust up Gunther. Meanwhile, Carlito prepares to deal with Sami Zayn.

The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa). After the match, The Creed Brothers hold down Otis so that Chad Gable can punch him and put him in the ankle lock. Maxxine Dupri gets on top of Gable, but Gable shrugs him and chews her out. Maxxine replies with a slap to the face. When Maxxine dares Gable to fight her, the lights start going out, and Otis, Maxxine and Tozawa all get out dodge while Gable and The Creed Brothers stay in the ring. "Huskus," "Rabbit" and "Mercy" of The Wyatt Sicks appear and head towards the ring before unmasking. They happen to be Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan and Dexter Lumis, respectively. Gable runs away only for "Abbie" - who is Nikki Cross - to hit him with a cross body. The Wyatt Sicks then lay waste to The Creed Brothers. Chad Gable escapes, but he is soon approached by Uncle Howdy, and he runs away.

Backstage, Carlito tells "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio that he has Sami Zayn, even thought Carlito is supposed to deal with Sami. Dominik tells Carlito that since he is free, he can handle "Main Event" Jey Uso, and Rhea tells Carlito he will deal with Jey alone.

"Big" Bronson Reed beats Sheamus after Pete Dunne shows up and hits Sheamus with a shillelagh.

Backstage, we hear from Damian Priest, who says that his upbringing is being brought up by Gunther, who has no idea of how he grew up when he was handed everything and surrounded by people telling him how great he was. He says that Gunther has never handed the World Heavyweight Championship and that Gunther is an asshole, and that the ring that was an escape from the streets will become the streets when he beats him to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Priest says he has fought for everything he has earned and that he is now willing to die for everything he has got.

We hear from Bron Breakker, who says he is not here to talk down on Sami Zayn, as he does not even dislike him. He says Sami is at the top of his game in stand-up comedy and yet he did not take him seriously. He says that Sami has accepted the fact that he is going to lose at SummerSlam as he is looking forward to a life after him and after WWE, and while Sami has been telling jokes in preparation, he has been training like a dog. Breakker says that the joke is on Sami and that the Intercontinental Championship will be on him.

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats Carlito after Carlito takes several bites out of his apple (and has some of the apple himself).

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Zelina Vega. Zelina says her right arm feels ago and that she knows she was lucky to have Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and Lyra Valkyria in her corner and that Zoey Stark had to stack the deck against her. As Zelina says that Zoey, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville know she is a threat, Zoey, Shayna and Sonya surround her and gang up on her before Shayna kicks at the injured right arm. Officials soon step in.

Zelina Vega is tended to backstage in the trainer's room.

Backstage, The Miz announces that he will be hosting SummerSlam this year in his house of Cleveland, Ohio, then R-Truth shows up thinking In Your House is bringing brought back before asking The Miz how he is going to host the whole show from his house. R-Truth wants to know if he should bring hors d'oeuvres or a bag of ice or any party favors, and The Miz says no before eventually declaring he will provide the hor d'oeuvres.

We see footage and photos of WWE on tour in Japan.

Before the next match, Karrion Kross mentions Kofi Kingston re-injuring his shoulder on the Japan tour and that it is only a cop-out for Kofi to skip town because the spotlight is on Xavier Woods instead of him and only because nobody wants to be in tonight's town. Karrion Kross then offers Woods a chance to join The Final Testament, tell the kids that the power of positivity is one big lie, and tell "that one-armed bastard" Kofi Kingston that he should have retired after losing the WWE Championship in six seconds. Woods punches him.

Karrion Kross beats Xavier Woods after dodging the Limit Break elbow.

We see footage of WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque talking with Jesse "The Body" Ventura backstage.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sami Zayn. Sami says that he did a comedy show before his last match with Bron Breakker and still won, and that Breakker thought it was a foregone conclusion that he would win and did not take him seriously. He says that Breakker has hit cheap shots week after week because of this, and while Breakker's attitude is different, so is his, and now it is just about beating Bron Breakker's ass. As far as "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio goes, he will handle that business right now.

We hear from Liv Morgan, who says that she would have done anything for "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, then says he is not a man and just "Rhea [Ripley]'s little bitch." She says she wishes that she could take back every tear she cried for him, but now, he will make Rhea's life a living hell and beat Rhea before leaving Dominik with whatever is left while she is still Women's World Champion.

Sami Zayn beats "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio by disqualification. During the match, JD McDonagh and Carlito show up and distract Sami, nearly costing him in the match. The match is over when JD McDonagh gets in the ring and breaks up a pinfall attempt by Sami Zayn. After the match, McDonagh and Carlito attack Sami, then "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up and send them and Dominik out of the ring before hitting them all with a dive over the top rope. Afterwards, Sami is attacked from behind by Bron Breakker, who then goes for a Spear only to be booted in the face, hit with an Exploder Suplex into the corner, and nearly hit with a Helluva Kick before rolling out of the ring. When Sami turns his back on Breakker, Breakker tries to ambush him again, but Sami turns around and clotheslines him out of the ring.

We see another Wyatt Sicks video, this time with Dexter Lumis, who is almost unrecognizable. When asked what he will do when the buzzards start circling, Dexter simply says "Run."

Backstage, Chad Gable tells General Manager Adam Pearce about Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan and Dexter Lumis being under masks earlier before wanting a six-man tag match against him and The Creed Brothers. Pearce makes the match official, but tells Gable to be careful what he wishes for after he leaves.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says that if Liv Morgan wants to break and burn things that do not belong to her and pretend to be the victim in her "revenge fantasy," then her revenge tour will come to an end. Rhea says she will make Liv pay after taking her title, three months of her career as well as "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and that she will get her own revenge.

Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville beat Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in a six-woman tag match. After the match, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane) shows up and brawls with Zoey, Shayna and Sonya, quickly cleaning house and forcing them out of the ring. Iyo Sky hits all three of them with Over The Moonsault on the outside.

In footage from an empty arena from earlier today, Gunther says he gave Damian Priest an easy way out, but Priest revealed he has no control over his own emotions. He calls Priest "an emotional wanna-be" who uses the business to get over his childhood trauma. He says that he used to look up to Finn Balor and considered him a world-class weirdo until Balor became "street trash" when he joined The Judgment Day. He then tells Priest that he will never forgive Priest for using the business to cover up for his pathetic existence, and after SummerSlam, Priest and everyone else will remember SummerSlam as the day he saved professional wrestling and the World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane). Dakota Kai says Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville have been running the place is because they have been gone, and now that they are back, it is time to re-establish order. She then challenges Sonya Deville to a match next week to see how long their group lasts after she cuts the head off the snake.

Backstage, Finn Balor says The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito will wait until SummerSlam to get out of the mess that they have gotten themselves into. Rhea agrees, and says that The Judgment Day has Finn's back, but Finn says he is doing this himself. Rhea and Damian agree, with Damian saying Gunther is their main problem and having faith that Finn Balor will soften Gunther up.

Gunther beats Finn Balor with the sleeper. After the match, Gunther puts Finn Balor back into the sleeper, and Damian Priest soon runs into the ring to brawl with Gunther. The brawl soon makes its way outside as the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 1, 2024

"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring through the concourse and the crowd to start tonight's show. Jey says that Money In The Bank is coming soon and that he will be the one to climb the ladder and grab the Money In The Bank contract, then Chad Gable shows up. Gable says that "Yeet" is not even a word, then says "miracle" is and that he is one, because what he has done in the last two weeks is miraculous, as he overcame being attacked by The Wyatts, his family leaving him, and two other monsters to qualify for the match. Gable says he will become "Master In The Bank" on his way into the ring, then says Jey Uso should be the one who is scared and Jey Uso also abandoned his family. Jey says his family did what he did, which was getting out from under a manipulative scumbag. All of a sudden, the lights go out, Wyatt-style, and Gable makes his way over the barricade and slowly backs away. He soon runs into "Huskus," who is waiting in the light, and switches direction. Gable then sees "Ramblin' Rabbit," and looks for another exit. He finds one, but finds another member of The Wyatts. Gable soon makes his way further up into the crowd and runs. "Abbie" then shows up with another box, which she places on the commentary table.

It is revealed that inside of the box is yet another VHS cassette, which will be played later on in the show.

Xavier Woods beats Karrion Kross with an inside cradle. After the match, The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) attack The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), but Kofi Kingston gets the better of them. Kofi goes for a dive over the top rope, but he gets nailed with a Kross Hammer by Karrion Kross. Kross then tries to break Kofi's left arm, and only stops when the referee gets back in the ring.

Backstage, Damian Priest asks Dominik Mysterio if he has talked to Rhea Ripley. Dominik says he has and that it is all good, but Priest says he has spoken to Rhea and that she is not happy, and that Dominik needs to actually take care of business. When they get into the clubhouse, they find Liv Morgan, who leaves for her match. Priest takes offense to Liv being in the clubhouse, and Finn takes offense to the rest of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Dominik) being seen as "sidekicks." Priest says they all need each other, and that he has faith in himself. Finn says he will always have Priest's back and that he will always tell him the truth, and that since Priest has become a champion, he has changed.

In memory of Leati Sika Anoa'i, 1945 - 2024.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Zelina Vega, who says that she is not interested in chasing "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio; instead, she wants to chase the Women's World Championship. She says that she is a champion, and that everyone will see what a real champion looks like.

Liv Morgan retains the Women's World Championship against Zelina Vega. During the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up at ringside, but soon afterwards, so does Rey Mysterio. During the match, Rey shoves Dominik after the two of them go at it and ringside, then Liv Morgan hits Rey with a baseball slide. This distracts Liv Morgan to the point that Zelina hits her with the 619. Not long after this, Dominik throws a metal folding chair into the ring, but Zelina takes it and throws it into Dominik's face, allowing Liv to hit Ob-Liv-Ion to retain. After the match, Cathy Kelley interviews Liv Morgan, who says that she feels like the luckiest girl in the world and that her revenge tour is going as planned, and dedicates tonight's victory and her victory futures to Dominik Mysterio, who she calls "the most gorgeous man in WWE."

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins calls Boston, Massachusetts "a championship city" and tells the fans that he needs to win back the World Heavyweight Championship, and that he cannot settle for second best or anything less than a championship. He says that if he cannot Damian Priest, then he cannot get another crack at the title, and he must re-evaluate his legacy. Rollins then says that when the pressure is at his highest, that is when he is at his very best. He says that when he takes the title from Priest, he will take Priest from The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio), even though it is not his intention to break them up. As Rollins says that Priest will be the best version of himself he can be without The Judgment Day , Finn Balor shows up. Finn says he should be in a good mood tonight, but tonight, he is in a bad mood because everything seems to be changing and it is all Rollins' fault. Rollins says that Priest is his own man making his own decision and that Finn is mad at Priest for having the World Heavyweight Championship that he could not win, and if Finn wants to step into his ring, he will knock his teeth down his throat. Damian Priest shows up, and tells the two of them that they have one last chance to get things over with. Priest says that this is no trap and that nobody else is getting involved in his business, much to the ire of Finn Balor. Priest says it is just him and Rollins, and that Rollins does not run Raw like he thinks he does. Rollins says they might as well fight right now instead of Saturday, and that leads to Finn Balor attacking Rollins from behind. Priest pulls Finn off of Rollins, and says he will do this on his own. This leads to Rollins hitting a thrust kick on both Finn and Priest, but Priest responds with South of Heaven to Rollins before checking on Finn.

It is announced that Bojangles is partnering with WWE for some collector's cups featuring The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash), The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" and "The Anvil" Jim Neidhart, The Undertaker and Kane and The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley).

We hear from Ludwig Kaiser, who says that Sheamus broke his ribs during his match with Bron Breakker and that Sheamus showed his true colors, and calls him nothing but a coward. He says it was originally about beating Sheamus, but now, it is more than that, and he will make it his only goal not only to come back and beat him, but to embarrass him once and for all.

Backstage, Damian Priest tells Finn Balor that he has to beat Seth "Freakin'" Rollins on his own. Finn understands, then Priest gets Finn some ice for his jaw.

Zoey Stark beats Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) show up and attack Kairi Sane, distracting Dakota Kai and allowing Zoey to hit her with the Z360 to win and qualify.

We see the contents of the VHS cassette from earlier. Bo Dallas asks Uncle Howdy how much longer they have to keep doing what they are doing, and what they are even doing in their present location. Uncle Howdy asks Bo Dallas if he honestly beleives that he brought Bray Wyatt to life. Bo Dallas says he was destined to do this. Howdy asks him if he thinks this is special, but Dallas says "special" implies others are not and are destined to be forgotten. He says that they are the ones that everyone wanted to forget and abandon, and that they made everyone notice them. Howdy asks how Bo Dallas believes he can bring Bray Wyatt to life, and Bo Dallas says that no one else is willing, and that clay in the hands of the potter is made to become something beautiful, and that they have been made to become a family. He says that there are "false prophets" belittling the family for their own gain, and says that this is disgusting and that they must pay for their sins. When Howdy asks if Bo thinks this is his responsibility, Bo says he is "the voice of the reckoning," and Howdy says he is the reckoning. The both say they are nobody, then they both start speaking at the same time as they keep switching chairs. Bo is then alone in the room. Bo says he set them free. Now Howdy is alone and Bo is not seen. Howdy says "There you are."

Backstage, Otis is met by Chad Gable in catering. Chad Gable thinks Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas are talking about him, and says that he knows what he and that he knows Otis hates him. Otis says that he does not hate him, but tells Gable that he, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa will not help him, as this is Gable's battle, not theirs. Gable says he understands that, but tells him that Tozawa, Maxxine or even Otis himself could be next after they get him. Maxxine and Tozawa show up, and Maxxine asks if everything is okay. Gable says everything is okay and leaves.

Rey Mysterio beats "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. During the match, Liv Morgan shows up, and this briefly distracts Rey Mysterio. Later on in the match, Liv pulls Dominik out of the 619, and Rey responds by baseball slide kicking Dominik into Liv, putting Dominik in a compromising position that Liv Morgan seems to enjoy. Soon after this, Liv is attacked by Zelina Vega, and the two of them go at it. At one point, Zelina trips Liv off the apron, which in turn trips Dominik off the top turnbuckle, allowing Rey to hit the 619 and drop the dime for the win. After the match, Liv is pleading with Dominik, saying she can fix this as they both head to the back.

We hear from Sheamus, who says that last night was fifteen years since he debuted in WWE and fulfill his dreams. He says that tonight, he gets a shot at another dream of becoming a two-time Money In The Bank winner. He says Ilja Dragunov and Drew McIntyre are two of the hardest hitters and that this match will be a war, but he will be one step closer to becoming world champion for a fifth time.

We see footage of Shinsuke Nakamura with Rei Tsuruya at UFC 303.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Sami says he is glad to be Intercontinental Champion as well as a fighting champion, and mentions his match with Bron Breakker at Money In The Bank. He says everyone thinks that Bron will run through him, and that he understands why. Sami then says that he will beat Bron Breakker at Money In The Bank so as not to be misunderstood. As he says that he is taking nothing away from Bron Breakker as a competitor, Bron Breakker shows up. Bron gets in the ring and says Sami gained a little bit of his respect, as everyone else backstage is afraid of him while Sami came to him and gave him a fight, which tells him that Sami has guts but has no idea what he is in for. He says that all the respect will go out of the window on Saturday when he beats him down and decimates him to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Sami asks Bron if he knows how many men have said they will break him in half, and says that while it has happened many times, he has always put himself back together and has always gotten back up, with the proof being in the Intercontinental Championship. He says that he wants Bron to want the title and to want to take it away from him, and that if he has to say who he says he is, then Bron has not done his homework and is not as smart or as good as he thinks he is. Bron turns away to leave the ring, then suddenly turns back around and Spears Sami. As Sami is leaving the ring, Bron goes for another Spear on Sami, but Sami avoids it and Bron runs into the ring steps again. This leads to a brawl at the commentary table, and back in the ring, Sami hits Bron with an Exploder Suplex. Sami goes for the Helluva Kick, but Bron hits him with another Spear from out of the corner.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane). Dakota Kai says that plans will not change and that Iyo Sky will win Money In The Bank, then says she is sick and tired of people getting involved in their business. Lyra Valkyria shows up and says that Dakota is only confident when Damage CTRL is a group and that Dakota will not be climbing that ladder for Iyo Sky. As Dakota says Lyra will not make it to money in the bank, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter go on the attack on Damage CTRL, and security and General Manager Adam Pearce have to break up the ensuing three-on-three brawl.

We hear from Ilja Dragunov, who says that the Money In The Bank can take one from the proving grounds to the top. He says that he knows about fighting from the bottom on his way to the top, and that it is time to breathe air of a new level. He says a career can be short, especially when animals like Bron Breakker try to end one, but says that this is a story of a different day and that he will fight Drew McIntyre and Sheamus and either become Mr. Money In The Bank or die trying.

Drew McIntyre beats Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov in a men's Money In The Bank Triple Threat qualifier. After the match, Cathy Kelley interviews Drew McInytre, who says that he told everyone that he would win this war and that he is walking into Money In The Bank and walking out World Heavyweight Champion.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 24, 2024

The Miz replaces Pat McAfee on commentary this week.

Drew McIntyre suddenly heads to the ring to start tonight's show. McIntyre brags about what he did to CM Punk on last week's SmackDown and even asks for a replay. McIntyre says he prayed for this and that "the big man made it happen...me." He then proclaims he is done with the "CM Punk" chanters, as they are chanting in his memory after everything Punk had done to him. He then proclaims that the "CM Punk" chanters are dead to him and do not exist before addressing Punk, hoping that he is uncomfortable, in pain and being fed through a straw after what he did to him. McIntyre claims that he not only took his dignity, but also a friendship bracelet with his dog Larry's name as well as AJ Lee's name, and mocks the bracelet as well as its meaning, saying Punk is now alone and in pain because of him. McIntyre then declares for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, hoping Punk watches alone, in pain and in misery. He then says that he was once alone, but no longer, as he wears the bracelet, as he has Punk's family in his corner now and he will win and cash in to become World Heavyweight Champion in spite of Punk.

Chad Gable is surrounded by security as he heads into the arena, and he does not want a camera pointed at him.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley reports that Chad Gable's dressing room is secured both inside and outside, and that others find it shocking that Gable is even here tonight after the end-of-show attack from last week.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser says Bron Breakker may be strong, explosive and fast, but he will prove that he is destined for greatness and that Bron Breakker "is no Ludwig Kaiser."

Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser ends with Kaiser being smacked out of nowhere by Sheamus on the outside. After the match, Sheamus goes for a powerbomb through the announce table, but he gets hit with a Spear by Bron Breakker.

Backstage at The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, everyone is playing WWE 2K24 on a PlayStation 5. Dominik Mysterio mentions that it is all a gift from Liv Morgan, then Dominik shows Priest something on his phone which proves that Liv Morgan has his phone number (and is implied to be Liv's nudes). Priest tells Dominik that he has to find a way to end things with Liv Morgan tonight. Dominik leaves, then Priest mentions that they still have a Braun Strowman problem and also leaves. Suddenly, Sami Zayn shows up, wanting the time and place. Breakker picks Money In The Bank, and Sami tells Pearce to tell Breakker that he has his match. Breakker tells Sami he will destroy him, then walks off.

Lyra Valkyria beats Kairi Sane and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after Lyra rolls out of the Kirifuda Clutch and Kairi hits Baszler with the In-Sane Elbow, which allows Lyra to hit Kairi with Nightwing to qualify.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells Drew McIntyre that he is not deserving of anything after being disruptive on both Raw and SmackDown and that he will have to earn his way to a World title shot, but McIntyre says that Pearce will do the right thing or else he will know the meaning of disruption. As McIntyre leaves, the camera then focuses on Liv Morgan, who heads to the ring.

It is announced that Royal Rumble 2025, SummerSlam 2025 and WrestleMania 42 in 2026 will be at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Tyrese Haliburton is seen in the front row.

She says that Dominik is playing hard to get, but when Dominik is honest with himself and realizes he wants her, she has more in store for him. Liv says that Rhea Ripley never sent Dominik any gifts, then says Dominik can thank her for the gifts so she can give him one more in front of the fans. Zelina Vega shows up and says she has the gift of shutting Liv Morgan up, then says she does not understand why Liv is interested in "Rhea Ripley's sloppy seconds" before proclaiming she is out here for championship gold. Liv says she has not forgotten about the Women's World Championship and that she put Rhea Ripley into early retirement to get it, and that it means more to her than anything. Zelina says Liv is more focused on having fun, and that Liv schemed for championship opportunities while she starved for hers. Zelina then dares Liv to put her title on the line tonight, and Liv says she will do it next week. Zelina says she is not waiting for next week as Liv calls for Dominik, then Dominik shows up. Dominik says he did not like the gifts before Liv asks Dominik if he liked her text as she helps him into the ring. Zelina asks what is going on as she pretends to throw up in her mouth, then says Liv did not have to put her man in her way if she was afraid to fight. Dominik says he is not Liv's man, and tells Zelina that if she is going to fight for the Women's World Championship, then she wants to help. He knows that Zelina and Rhea Ripley have had their differences, but he would rather see anyone but Liv with the Women's World title. As Zelina is clearly not buying this and telling Dominik she does not need his help, Liv attacks Zelina. Rey Mysterio suddenly shows up and pulls Liv off of Zelina. Dominik then shoves Rey, which turns Liv on before Dominik leaves. Liv then follows Dominik to the back.

He says Gable is shaken up, but is medically cleared to compete and focused on tonight's match. As for last week's attack, Pearce says it is not his story to tell and that Gable is not ready to tell it yet.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio wants nothing to do with Liv Morgan, who thanks Dominik for being her hero against "his deadbeat dad" Rey Mysterio. After Dominik leaves, R-Truth shows up and says reluctant heroes like "Tom and Nick Mysterio" are the best kinds of heroes, and Liv gets the idea of helping Dom get a match against Rey next week. She also wants to get a tag team title match for Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, and despite R-Truth not liking JD, R-Truth says he can make it happen. After Liv leaves, R-Truth mentions that he thinks Liv is Carmella. The Miz then has to run backstage from the commentary table to talk sense into R-Truth backstage.

Before the next match, Chad Gable asks the fans if they believe in miracles, then says the news of his demise was greatly exaggerated. Gable states that while he was left for dead by "a bunch of monsters," "Chad Gable cannot be killed," and he has decided in a show of bravery to face two more monsters and become "Master In The Bank."

Chad Gable beats "Big" Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito attack Strowman on the outside to allow Gable to hit Bronson with a top rope moonsault to win and qualify. After the match, the lights start going out little by little, Bray Wyatt stile, with Chad Gable standing in the middle of the ring as fog forms around the mat. "Abbie" shows up from underneath the ring and corners Gable, and Gable is able to slide out of the ring. "Abbie" then crawls out of the ring and places a box in front of Michael Cole at the announce table before leaving through the crowd.

Maxxine tells Gable that he put them through a lot, but he really hurt Otis. She then says that they are all glad that he is okay, and that Otis just needs some time before telling Gable that he will talk to Otis. Afterwards, Chad Gable is met by Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), and Gable tells them that he is not okay and that he needs help.

The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre) beat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. After the match, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane) attacks both teams, then Iyo Sky hits Alba and Isla with Over The Moonsault.

Backstage, Damian Priest finds Liv Morgan leaving the Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, then finds Finn Balor on the Sony PlayStation 5. Finn tells Priest that thanks to Liv, Dominik has a match with Rey Mysterio next week, while he and JD McDonagh have a World Tag Team title shot tonight.

Backstage, The Miz catches up with R-Truth and finds out that the World Tag Team title match is official and that R-Truth says he "did it for love." The Miz says it is more about them and their titles, but R-Truth says he only loves Miz as a friend.

Damian Priest heads to the ring. Priest says he understands why Seth "Freakin'" Rollins sees himself in him, then says he sees a man who he does not want to become in Rollins. He says he does not want to see someone who is his successor, and while Rollins is great, but as long as he remains World Champion, Rollins will never see the mountaintop again. Rollins then shows up and heads to the ring, then says tonight is still his show before addressing Priest's claims that he will never be champion again for as long as Priest himself is champion, saying he does not believe him. Rollins thinks that Priest has "a false bravado" and "does not believe the bullcrap that is coming out of [his] mouth," and says the fans do not buy Priest as World champion because his words do not match with his actions. He says that Priest has stated that he does not need help, but in both of his title defenses, he really needed that help. Priest says he gets where Rollins is coming from, and while he did not ask for help, people got involved. He says he cannot change what happened, but he can stand at the present holding the world title while Rollins represents the past and holds nothing. Rollins says "For now." Rollins then says he is not here to run Priest down, as he has respect for him, then says he does not like being one-upped and that he is here to one-up Priest, as he wants to sweeten the pot at Money In The Bank. Rollins says this is more akin to a "side bet" or "gentlemen's agreement," and says that if Priest can beat him, he will get his wish and he will never challenge for the title again. However, if he were to win, they get to find out once and for all if Priest can stand on his own two feet, and Priest will have no choice but to leave The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh). Rollins says that if this were to happen, we would see if Priest really could walk a mile in his shoes. Priest laughs, and says that to him, The Judgment Day needs him more than he needs them, and as Rollins' agreement goes, he accepts. Priest and Rollins shake hands, then Gunther arrives to the ring and says he fully understands that a lot is on the line, then wishes good luck to both men and says he cannot wait to see their match and hopes the better man wins. He then says that at SummerSlam, the better man will become the lesser man in the ring with him. Gunther then leaves.

We see the contents of the VHS cassette tape. We see Uncle Howdy asks someone if they are happy and if they are lost, and if they feel as though they have been forgotten. He also asks if they remember who they are, then we see Bo Dallas, who says "I am nobody." Uncle Howdy then asks Bo Dallas how he felt when Bray Wyatt died, and Bo says the most important thing in his life was taken away from him. He also says that he felt nothing was ever going to matter again, and Uncle Howdy asks Bo if he thinks that he is exploiting his brother's legacy. Bo says that all he ever wanted in his whole life was to be like his brother, as he looked up to him and wanted to be next to him. He says that they were going to rule together, and they had it, and then it was taken away from him, and nobody feels more hurt or feels what he feels than him. Bo says that he had to be a mausoleum so that everyone would remember what Bray stood for and believed, but everyone wanted to forget about "all of us." He says that they made them all remember, then Uncle Howdy laughs and says "Yes, we did."

Karrion Kross beats Kofi Kingston after the rest of The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) attack Xavier Woods backstage, which distracts Kofi and allows Kross to hit the Final Prayer for the win.

It is announced that Randy Orton, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Jacob Fatu) in a six-man tag match is official for Money In The Bank.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) beat The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) to become the World Tag Team Champions! Liv Morgan shows up during the match to watch from ringside. Later on, Braun Strowman shows up after Carlito puts McDonagh's foot on the bottom rope to save the match to chase Carlito through the crowd. Later on, after R-Truth hits Finn and McDonagh with a double Five Knuckle Shuffle, Liv Morgan distracts R-Truth while McDonagh distracts the referee, then rams R-Truth throat first into the top rope. This allows Finn Balor to hit R-Truth with the Coup de Grace to win the match and the titles. After the match, Liv celebrates with Finn and McDonagh.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for March 8, 2024

At the start of the show, it is revealed that The Rock, Roman Reigns and the team of "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes are all flanked by security.

Logan Paul heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Logan calls Dallas, Texas his "city of firsts," as it hosted his first WrestleMania, then says that he is a conqueror and that he joined WWE to take over, not take part. Logan also brags about how he has the bet rookie year ever and how everything he touches turns to gold and has broken every record since he debuted. He says that he is "the secret sauce" and that business has boomed in WWE, and that one could say that the WWE is in its prime. Logan then announces that he has put a decal of a bottle of a Cherry Freeze Prime on the center of the ring, and that he has partnered with WWE to become its very first center-ring sponsor for WrestleMania and beyond. He then introduces fellow Internet influencer KSI, then says a moment this big deserves a big photo. A photographer gets on the apron to take a picture of Logan and KSI, then Randy Orton's theme hits. Randy Orton sneaks up on Logan and KSI from out of nowhere. Logan Paul avoids an RKO and flees the ring, and KSI figures out what is happening and does not turn around, and he falls victim to Orton. Orton then takes the bottle of Prime that was in KSI's hand, drinks it, comments that it is very good, then pours it on KSI.

Triple H shows off the YouTube Red Diamond award for reaching 100 million subscribers on YouTube. It is one of only ten channels to ever reach that number.

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton beat Grayson Waller and Austin Theory following a Stunner to Grayson and a pop-up powerbomb lift into an RKO on Theory. After the match, Owens and Orton are attacked from behind by Logan Paul, who then pulls out brass knuckles. Orton soon takes them away after kicking him in the breadbasket as Logan goes for a punch, and Logan is forced to flee after ducking a punch and almost causing Orton to inadvertently punch Owens.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley. Bayley says she is hanging on by a thread and that she never thought Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane) would betray her, and now she is left wondering if their friendship was real. She also says Dakota Kai used their history against her when she was at her most vulnerable. She says that she has made a lot of enemies over the past few years, and while she did a lot of things to get attention and get to the top, she did a lot of things for Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. She says that everything is now backfiring and she is all alone. Bayley says her title match with Iyo Sky has made her most focused and that Damage CTRL has made a big mistake, as she knows how to adapt. She says that she made Damage CTRL with all her heart, and she will do everything to break it.

Backstage, Naomi has watched Bayley's interview when Bianca Belair shows up. Bianca says that Bayley had it coming to her, but Naomi says she feels bad for Bayley, as she has been in Bayley's position and knows what it is like to have a faction and have it all fall down. Bayley says it is easy for Naomi to feel that way as she was not in WWE during Damage CTRL's (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane) reign of terror.

Bobby Lashley beats Karrion Kross by disqualification following interference by The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar). After the match, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) show up and brawl with The Authors of Pain, and B-Fab shows up to slap and chase after Scarlett when she gets behind Lashley. Lashley puts Kross in the Hurt Lock, but The Authors of Pain break it up, and they and Kross gang up on Lashley and lay him out.

Backstage, Elektra Lopez and Santos Escobar encounter Dragon Lee as he is on the phone and make fun of him for thinking he can be the next Rey Mysterio, then Humberto and Angel show up from the other side. Escobar then says Rey is gone and is the past while Legado del Fantasma (Escobar, Humberto, Angel, Elektra) is the future. When Escobar says Dragon Lee is nothing, Dragon Lee tries to strike him only to be shoved to the ground.

It is announced that The U.S. Express (Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham) have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Tiffany Stratton beats "Michin" Mia Yim.

We hear from "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who says he flew across the world to attack LA Knight in the Elimination Chamber after watching LA Knight walk around like he owns the place when he does not deserve to be in the same locker room as him. He admits he found Knight's shtick funny until he got momentum at his expense, and while he knows that WWE is a cutthroat place to be, Knight is overachieving, undertalented in a dire need of humbling, and he is more than phenomenal enough for the job. Meanwhile, Knight has watched this from a television screen backstage, and he smashes the television with a metal folding chair.

Backstage, Tyler Bate is playing WWE 2K24 when Pete Dunne shows up to watch. Tyler says he will talk to General manager Nick Aldis and handle the tag team title situation, then hands a stone-faced Dunne the controller, who then plays.

Dragon Lee beats Angel with a hurricanrana into a sit-down pin to counter a pop-up powerbomb attempt. After the match, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Humberto, Angel) gang up on Dragon Lee, then Escobar blames what they have done to him on Rey Mysterio.

Backstage, we hear from Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Asuka, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane). Dakota Kai says she has always been the brains, and Kairi Sane says that if Bayley were smarter, she would have caught on faster. Asuka says that they have been in control from day one, and Iyo Sky says it her era from the start. Dakota says that they will see Bayley next week.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis finds out that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes are not in their dressing room despite security guarding the only door in and out.

The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa) heads to the ring. Afterwards, The Rock makes his entrance. Roman declares that greatness stands before the fans and hugs the fans before declaring "Acknowledge us." Suddenly, Cody Rhodes' theme hits, and Cody and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins show up through the crowd. After the commercial break, Cody and Rollins get in the ring, and it is just them, The Rock and Roman Reigns as Jimmy Uso, Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa step out and watch from ringside. Cody admits it is tense and that there is a lot of bad blood, but he feels lucky to stand in the ring and that everyone should take a moment to feel this. He tells The Rock that he has heard his challenge and the stipulations for their tag team match at WrestleMania, then asks if he has the authority to make that stipulation as he has acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief. Before Cody can give his answer to the challenge, The Rock tells Cody and Rollins to shut up, then says he acknowledged Roman because it is what family does before reiterating the stakes of their tag team match. Rollins tells The Rock to shut up as he asks if they accept, then tells The Rock that he had his time and will not have theirs before telling him that they accept. Roman laughs and asks Cody if he will let Rollins answer for him before saying that he must be an idiot, then says that when he beats Cody at WrestleMania, that will be it, and Cody's story will be over as he does not get another shot. The Rock says he will make sure Cody does not win and that Rollins' title will go away, for he is the chairman of the board, and ensures that if Cody loses, he will never get another shot at Roman for the undisputed title. He then says that his and Roman's family are looking down proudly before stating that Cody's father is looking down before calling Cody a mistake. Cody slaps The Rock in the face, and the show ends.
