Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 19, 2026

Gunther heads to the ring. He says that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles made a mistake coming into their match with blinders on and being so focused on making him tap out that he forgot he was in the ring with the greatest wrestler in WWE. Gunther says his future looks very bright and will lead him back to the World Heavyweight Championship; therefore, he is declaring for the men's Royal Rumble match. As he reminds everyone how he lasted over one hour in the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles' entrance theme hits, and Styles heads to the ring. Styles knows that Gunther wants to move on, but he does not, and he demands a rematch at Royal Rumble. Gunther says he does not plan on pulling double duty and declines, but Styles accuses Gunther of being a coward as he leaves. Styles admits Gunther's hand may have been raised, but he beat himself when he did not rip his leg off and beat him with it, and tells Gunther that he "tapped out like a little bitch" to the Calf Crusher. He tells Gunther to admit if he is scared so they can both move on, and Gunther says he proved he is the smarter and better wrestler compared to Styles, and states that there is no incentive to wrestle him again. Gunther declines again, but he does not leave the ring when he gets an idea that there is something that Styles can do to get a rematch. Gunther stipulates that Styles must put his career on the line, then tells Styles to think about it and to think if this is a hill worth dying on before demanding his answer by the end of the night, unless Styles is "a little bit scared."

Backstage, Maxxine Dupri is met by Natalya, who wants to be in Maxxine's corner so that what happened between Maxxine and Becky Lynch does not happen tonight. Maxxine is happy, and says that she will see Natalya out there.

Becky Lynch retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. During the match, Natalya puts Becky's foot on the rope during a pinfall attempt, and that allows Becky to hit the Manhandle Slam to win and retain. After the match, Natalya attacks Maxxine and eventually puts her in the Sharpshooter.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce talks with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, telling him that he does not have to take Gunther's challenge. Styles says he will talk to his wife, and as he leaves, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman shows up. Pearce laughs, saying he has been thinking about Heyman and has had a great week, then says Bron Breakker is still suspended. Pearce tells Heyman that The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) should be on their best behavior, because he will be ringside for their match.

Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez tells the rest of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez) that Stephanie Vaquer is still not medically cleared, and that when Vaquer does come back and put the Women's World Championship on the line, she will beat her worse than she did last week. Liv says that 2026 will be their year, as Finn and Raquel are about to become world champions while she and Roxanne are going to be Women's Tag Team Champions. Finn says that they are on his island tonight and that he is not leaving without the World Heavyweight Championship.

"Main Event" Jey Uso shows up in the crowd, says that he is here tonight and that he is declaring for the men's Royal Rumble match. He says that he will become a back-to-back Royal Rumble winner, and that he is firing his warning shot.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce runs into The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller, who demand their World Tag Team title rematch. Pearce gives them an opportunity next week in a Fatal 4-Way match, where the winning team will get a title shot. Adam Pearce then heads to ringside for the next match.

Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta beat The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory)in a six-man tag match. During the match, both General Manager Adam Pearce and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman argue on the ring apron, but when Logan Paul passes the brass knuckles to Austin Theory, Adam Pearce catches them out and the referee stops whatever plans Theory had with the brass knuckles with Pearce's help, as Pearce takes the brass knuckles away. Paul Heyman confronts Adam Pearce, and Rey Mysterio uses the brass knuckles - which Pearce has left on the ring apron - against Logan Paul before Penta hits Austin Theory with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.

Backstage, Jackie Demond interviews CM Punk. Punk says he is playing an away game going into double overtime, and that he wants the game on his stick. He says that this is the kind of pressure that gets him out of bed in the morning and proves he is the best in the world, and that this pressure will break Finn Balor.

WWE acknowledges Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States.

Backstage, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman rushes to catch up with General Manager Adam Pearce (and as he does, a boom mic hits him in the head). Heyman hands Pearce a phone and says he may want to take that phone call.

Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley head to the ring. Rhea mentions their Women's Tag Team Championship defense against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night's Main Event, then asks when they are going to learn that when it comes to them, "Rhiyo" is always on top. Rhea also announces that once they win and retain at Saturday Night's Main Event, they will be participating in the women's Royal Rumble match. All of a sudden, Liv and Roxanne show up, and Liv says that Rhea and Iyo are more delusional than they thought and that she is taking the women's tag titles back. She also advises Iyo to dump Rhea before she turns on her, stating that Rhea's selfishness will get the better of her and leave her with no one. Roxanne announces that she, Liv and Raquel Rodriguez will all also be entering the women's Royal Rumble match and that one of them will headline WrestleMania. Rhea chalks this all up to projection, then asks how the three of them being in the Royal Rumble match will work. Rhea is suddenly attacked from out of nowhere by Raquel, and Raquel, Liv and Roxanne quicky clean house. Rhea Ripley fights back, but the numbers game takes over, and Liv hits Rhea with Ob-Liv-Ion.

Backstage, Bayley is disappointed in herself over her and Lyra Valkyria's recent loss when Lyra Valyria shows up. Lyra shows up and says she finds it hard to be positive right now, especially since she let her friend down. Bayley says that neither of them got pinned and that they still have the rest of the year. Both of them declare for the women's Royal Rumble match.

El Grande Americano beats Je'Von Evans by referee stoppage after Je'Von Evans gets injured. Early in the match, El Grande Americano accidentally bump heads at the ring apron following a back drop.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Finn Balor. Finn says the magnitude of tonight is not lost on him, but it may be lost on CM Punk. He says that Punk is a fighting champion and that he respects him, but he questions his judgment, for he is on his island in front of his people, and in Belfast, Northern Ireland, there will be a new Irish World Heavyweight Champion.

We see a vignette for Oba Femi.

Backstage, The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) run into General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce asks for Bron Breakker to meet with him next week so they can iron things out, and that the recent phone call had nothing to do with it. Heyman says that can be done before mockingly telling Pearce to be on his best behavior. The Vision leaves, then "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up and says that his wife has told him to kick Gunther's ass. Pearce makes Gunther vs. Styles with Styles' career on the line official for Royal Rumble.

Backstage, Asuka chews out Kairi Sane for failing her and blames her for losing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, saying it hurt almost as much as Iyo Sky turning on her. Kairi promises that she will make sure she wins the Royal Rumble, and says taht she will do anything. Asuka approves of this, and tells Kairi not to make her yell at her again.

Finn Balor comes out to his original entrance theme before the next match.

CM Punk retains the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. After the match, CM Punk helps Finn Balor up, says something to him, then raises his hand in a show of respect.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 29, 2025

The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) makes their way to the ring to start tonight's show. Paul Heyman gets furious with the "CM Punk" chants and states that The Vision will main event WrestleMania five years from now, then announces Austin Theory as their newest member. Theory says he has worked his entire career for this moment, and declares Bron Breakker the next World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman then proclaims that the needs of The Vision preclude those of everyone else before CM Punk shows up. Punk calls out Bron Breakker, then says he could get in the ring, say a few things and then get destroyed. He then says he likes to look a man in the eyes before he puts him to sleep, and tells The Vision to make it just him and Breakker in the ring so he clear the air. Breakker agrees to these terms, and Punk and Breakker have a staredown in the middle of the ring. Breakker states that The Vision is looking towards the future, and that he will become the next World Heavyweight Champion. He says that he is tired of everyone calling him the future and saying that he will "figure it out" and main event everything, then says that he is the present. Breakker then accuses Punk of seeing him as "the new guy in town" and dares him to find someone like him in the locker room. Breakker says that everything he has had done has been under a microscope and that he has been held to a higher standard, and that on January 5th, he is willing to die for the World title as much as Punk, and that he will put Punk in the ground. Punk tells Breakker that he has made a mistake of assuming what he thinks of him, then says Breakker that while Breakker is more ready than anyone else in The Vision, the World title is a privilege to carry and he is not ready to let it go. Punk says he is not ready to stop being champion, and while Breakker has what it takes, he is not CM Punk. He says that someday, someone will beat him for the World title, but it will not be Breakker.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel says there will be no tricks tonight and that nobody is getting in the way of what is hers. Liv Morgan suddenly shows up and tells her to take care of business tonight. Raquel says that she will take care of business and do it alone, even as Roxanne Perez shows up after she is mentioned, and that she does not need luck.

Stephanie Vaquer retain the Women's World Championship against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez after Raquel hits Nikki with a Tejana Bomb only for Vaquer to send Raquel tumbling out of the ring to pick the bones and get the win.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Gunther when R-Truth confronts him from his recent disrespect. Gunther simply laughs in R-Truth's face and takes this as a challenge.

Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles is seen in the front row.

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) head to the ring. Asuka talks about how she recently beat Rhea Ripley, then says the fans are "stupid babies" for thinking Rhea can take her on, then Kairi Sane says Iyo should never have attacked her before Asuka demands her microphone. Asuka then says that Rhea and Iyo paid for their disrespect last week, then Rhea and Iyo show up and chase The Kabuki Warriors out of the ring for a brawl on the outside. Kairi shoves Iyo into the announce table only to eat a right hand from Rhea, then Asuka attacks Rhea from behind before tossing Iyo into the timekeeper's area so that she and Kairi can gang up on Rhea. Iyo stops a double-team In-Sane Elbow just in time, and she and Rhea soon send The Kabuki Warriors packing.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio is met by CM Punk. Rey says he is good for tonight, but reminds Punk that "The Oracle" Paul Heyman is not the only person in the favor business regarding Punk's title defense next week.

Gunther beats R-Truth by submission with a sleeper hold.

Backstage, Jey Uso is met by Jimmy Uso. Jey admits that things have not been going his way and that he does not want to put Jimmy in as bad as a spot as he is in right now, but Jimmy knows that Jey can get the job done.

Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are met by Je'Von Evans. Styles says that he and Dragon Lee are open to a rematch before Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo American, Bravo Americano) show up. Styles and Dragon Lee back Je'Von up, and Los Americanos soon leave.

Backstage, Austin Theory is welcomed to The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory), and Logan Paul tells Theory that they have his back. Heyman has Logan accompany Theory to the ring for his match.

Rey Mysterio beats Austin Theory by disqualification after Logan Paul trips Rey out of the splash after the 619. After the match, Logan and Theory gang up on Rey when Penta makes the save. Rey hits Logan with the 619 before Penta clotheslines Logan out of the ring.

We hear from Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Rhea says Asuka is delusional after everything she has done and keeps doing to them, then says that Asuka is the one who has been disrespectful. She says that last week was the first and last time Asuka will beat her, because she will destroy her next week. Iyo tells Kairi that she is lost and that it is too late, for she has chosen the wrong path. She says Asuka was her senpai, but the student has become the master, and next week, they will teach The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) a lesson in respect and become Women's Tag Team Champions.

Maxxine Dupri heads to the ring. Maxxine says that she would not be standing in the ring as a champion if it were not for the fans and brags about how she made Becky Lynch tap to an ankle lock before Becky Lynch shows up. Becky says the only thing she tapped to was living in Orlando, Florida, and if the fans get rich enough, they can move out, too. Maxxine tells Becky to make her next move wisely or else she will break her. Becky admits, very reluctantly, that Maxxine has gotten better while still accusing her of stealing a title, but Maxxine says that she only stole the spotlight. Becky gets furious and says she came out here to be nice before making a huge deal about how great she is. Becky also says she has overcome every corruption and injustice thrown her way and that she always finds a way to win, then wants to know if Maxxine is everything she says she is or everything Becky knows Maxxine is before welcoming her to the big time.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with Trick Williams, then Lyra Valkyria and a frustrated Bayley show up wanting a piece of the Women's Tag Team Championship title picture to the point that Bayley calls Pearce a bald idiot. Pearce reminds them that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez also have a shot at the titles, much to Bayley's chagrin, and Lyra has to defuse the situation.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to become the World Tag Team Champions! The reign is The Usos' ninth overall. After the match, The Usos celebrate in the crowd.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 22, 2025

Backstage, Paul Heyman meets with Austin Theory alone. Theory tells Heyman that he wanted everyone to feel his actions before he saw his face, and while he made mistakes in getting comfortable and injuries, he saw The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul) and he wants to take opportunities like they do. He also asks Heyman to be part of their match tonight. Heyman says "Interesting. Very interesting."

Backstage, Rhea Ripley asks Iyo Sky to stay backstage during her match.

Heyman says that compared to a year ago, both men are now main eventing due to his vision for them, and now he has a vision for Theory. He says that either Theory will carry the vision through, or Bronson and Breakker will carry Theory out of the building.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky says that there will be no celebration for Maxxine Dupri, as she is the real Women's Intercontinental Champion and not Maxxine, and blames Maxxine's title win on corruption. She says that she knows very powerful people who will be able to do something about this, including in Netflix, who told her to head to Grand Rapids, Michigan and take matters into her own hands. She is suddenly interrupted by Maxxine, who says that while she is a rookie and Becky is the greatest of all time, she is a rookie who beat the greatest of all time three times. She tells Becky she can have her rematch any time, anywhere, but she will stop at nothing to win again. Maxxine wants Becky to take her losses on the chin, but she blames corruption and everything under the sun, which makes her look like the greatest of all time and more like someone whose best years are behind her. Becky sucker punches Maxxine and attacks her, then says that the Women's Intercontinental title is hers before attacking her again. Maxxine takes her down for an ankle lock, then grapevines it and makes Becky tap.

Backstage, Je'Von Evans meets with General Manager Adam Pearce, who wants to talk about his future after tonight's match. Je'Von leaves, then Stephanie Vaquer shows up. Vaquer wants a Triple Threat against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez to handle both of them, and she gets it.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Styles and Dragon says they have beaten some of the best tag teams in WWE, and Styles says that they are better than the best as long as they are tag team champions and that better than the best is what The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) will get.

We hear from Bron Breakker, who brags about what he has done to CM Punk and says that Punk is "a self-centered piece of trash" who has only cared about himself. He then strokes Punk's ego by asking which version of Punk he will get in their World Heavyweight Championship match before stating that the results will be the same and that Punk won't be worth a dollar to anyone once he beats him for the title.

Nikki Bella shows up unannounced and bashes the Detroit Lions as she says that she is the star of the women's division and that she will destroy Stephanie Vaquer's reign and become Women's World Champion. She says that Vaquer may be a big deal in the ring, but she is a big deal everywhere, and that the Women's World Championship should be around the waist of a global superstar.

Bayley beats Roxanne Perez after Raquel Rodriguez costs Roxanne an easy win involving an exposed turnbuckle that Liv Morgan allowed for only for Lyra Valkyria to take out Liv and Raquel with a cross body from the announce table before slapping Bayley and firing her up, allowing Bayley to hit a top rope elbow drop for the win.

Backstage, Austin Theory meets with "Big" Bronson Reed. Theory asks what the plan is, and Bronson tells Theory to follow his lead. Theory tells Bronson he is not his kid, then says he will start the match and that Bronson will follow his lead.

Backstage, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez are arguing. Liv says everyone should be on the same page, but Raquel says it would be great if everyone knew what everyone is doing. Raquel says she cannot have this and has a world title match to prepare for.

Gunther heads to the ring. Gunther takes in the boos from the crowd from both the ring and the announce table, then says that the fans should not be mad at him and that they should be mad at the guy who tapped out like a little bitch. CM Punk shows up, then Gunther laughs at him and leaves. CM Punk shows up, then Gunther laughs at him and leaves, but not before making fun of John Cena on the ring steps. Rey Mysterio then shows up and confronts Gunther on his way to the ring, but Gunther laughs at him on the way out.

Backstage, Gunther runs into "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Styles says "You don't shut up, do you?" Gunther says "Guess I don't," then laughs on his way out.

The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed and Austin Theory) beat CM Punk and Rey Mysterio after Theory hits Rey with The Stomp. After the match, Bron Breakker gets into the ring with Punk and brawls with him, and Punk is able to fend him off along with Theory, who gets in the ring shortly afterwards. The crowd chants "You suck!" and "You tapped out!" before Gunther says he did what he said he would do and made John Cena give up, and when he gave up, he tapped out like a little bitch. He then leaves the ring only to re-enter it. Gunther then stands on the second rope in celebration before the fans chant "You suck!" again, then Gunther leaves and turns back around a second time. This time, he celebrates again on the announce table and declares that he made John Cena tap out like a little bitch, and for that, he will be known as the man that made John Cena give up. Gunther then heads to the back for real this time, then the camera follows him. Akira Tozawa and Otis confront him for being happy about what he has done, as does R-Truth, who calls him a piece of trash. General Manager Adam Pearce asks Gunther if he is proud of what he has done, and says that his actions make him an asshole, not "The Ring General." Pearce then tells him to leave after Gunther asks him if he is done, and Gunther promptly leaves. Gunther asks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles if there is anything he wants to tell him on his way out, then mockingly tells Styles that he cannot see him after he gets in his car.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods).

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is meeting with Je'Von when Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano) show up. Je'Von knows enough Spanish to know that El Grande Americano is talking down on NXT. This leads to Je'Von Evans having a match with Rayo Americano next week.

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says that he was forced to miss the last two weeks because he could not get medically cleared and that he had to listen to Bron Breakker talk. He calls Breaker "a cross-eyed Neanderthal nepo baby" and says that brains do not run in Breakker's family. He also mentions Breakker mentioning that it was too easy to beat him, then says that Breakker cannot beat him without help from his friends. He says that Breakker may have pinned him for a World title shot, but he did not do it on his own. CM Punk says he has been there before and that Heyman has taken plenty of people with a little bit of talent and gassed them up. He also tells Breakker that if he mentions AJ Lee again, it will go from business to personal. Punk says he would tell Breakker to come to their World Heavyweight Championship match alone, but he will not, not because he does not have the guts, but because he does not have the heart. He tells Breakker to bring all the help he can, including his father and uncle, as he has no chance of beating him for the World Heavyweight Championship.Punk says that when Breakker finds out that Heyman has left him for the next big thing and that his masked mystery man never showed up, all he will have left is his father and uncle, and that even in Steiner Math, "GTS = 1, 2, 3."

Backstage, Bayley congratulates Maxxine Dupri on retaining the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship, then Lyra Valkyria meets with Bayley. Bayley says her loss to Sol Ruca has gotten her thinking about what Asuka said. Lyra says that this is not the Bayley she grew up watching and that this Bayley would lose to Roxanne Perez, but Bayley says that she will not be losing to Roxanne next week. Lyra is smiling as Bayley walks away.

Logan Paul beats Rey Mysterio. During the match, Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed head to the ring, but CM Punk is close behind them, and he hits them both with a metal folding chair and sends them running back to the back. "The Oracle" Paul Heyman hands the brass knuckles to Logan, but Rey trips Logan into the ropes and hits the 619, knocking the brass knuckles out of Logan's hand in the process. As Rey goes for the brass knuckles, he is suddenly curbed stomped by the masked man clad in black. Logan Paul then hits Rey with a splash from the top rope to win. Cody says that he has talked about why he is in this year's men's WarGames match, then asks Roman what is in it for him. Roman says that the last time he checked, he has been in this war and that Cody just joined it. He admits both men hate each other and do not know each other well, but they both know they do not play around when it comes to family. He says that half of their team is his family, and before they were on their team, they were in his Bloodline. Roman says he has been invested in The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) for a long time, and he plans to see that investment through. Cody says "Understandable," then welcomes Roman to his team. Before he can shake Roman's hand, CM Punk suddenly shows up. CM Punk says that their WarGames match is an all-star match, and while Cody has his word, CM Punk says he does not need his word, as he saved his life. Roman tells him he ruined his life four months later, but Punk tells Roman that if he backstabs him, he also backstabs The Usos. He also mentions Cody saying the team is his, stating that while he can be the quarterback on Friday, he is the champ on Mondays. Roman questions why they are "measuring them now" before saying that it does not matter whose team it is and that they can all agree on hating Paul Heyman and The Vision (Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul), who he hates more than Punk. He also states that while they are being honest, "that title would look so much better on his shoulder." Roman smiles and refuses to answer, saying "Let them figure it out."

Backstage, Paul Heyman tells Drew McIntyre to take things seriously, as he is still under suspension and is only here because he is part of his team. He also tells Logan Paul not to have anything to do with Brock Lesnar, then finds out that he is McIntyre's partner tonight. Logan simply says "Wise...choice."

He also says that Cena is not here tonight and that he does not blame Cena for not coming to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which he calls a dump before Cena's music hits. A little person dressed as Cena (and another little person with the word "Stu" on the back of his shirt carrying a portable camcorder) shows up. "Little Cena" has trouble getting in the ring at first, but gets in. Dom tries not to corpse as he gives "Little Cena" a chance to run away, but "Little Cena" challenges Dominik to a fight. Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells Raquel Rodriguez that she will be in the mix for the next shot at the Women's World Championship, then The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller show up after Raquel leaves. The New Day find out that they will get a tag team title match against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee next week.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. After the commercial break, she is joined by The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Becky says she has the best lawyers in the country regarding losing the Women's Intercontinental Championship and that she has been advised not to talk about it, and that the decision will be overturned, she will get the title back, and WWE will be better for it. She also says WWE will be a lot better off when she gets rid of AJ Lee once and for all, stating that AJ made a mistake coming back and a bigger mistake costing her the title, then says she made the biggest mistake of all by locking herself in a cage with her. She puts the rest of her team on a pedestal before Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee show up. AJ Lee says the old her would have torn Becky's face off, but therapy works. She then says that Becky is insecure. AJ says that she knows who she is and does not have to bark like a chihuahua; she bites, and Becky reminder her of that by lighting a fire on her that her team pours gasoline on. She then threatens to let the old AJ out and do whatever she wants to Becky. AJ hopes to sit on a pedestal and laugh as Becky falls down, then Rhea takes the microphone and smacks Nia Jax in the face with it, starting a brawl. The brawl ends with Rhea and Charlotte booting Nia and Lash out of the ring before Iyo Sky takes out Becky's team with a top rope moonsault to the outside as Becky retreats.

Maxxine then runs into Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne says that she can take the title off of her before Adam Pearce intervenes. Roxanne and Raquel leave, then Pearce tells Maxxine she should call Natalya now.

We hear from Stephanie Vaquer, who states that everyone told her not to trust Nikki Bella, yet she still allowed Nikki to be her friend only to be betrayed. She says that she knows Nikki's game and that Nikki does not know who she is messing with. She asks Nikki if she really wants to face her in the ring before telling her that she will see her at Survivor Series.

Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) in a WarGames Advantage Match. During the match, Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed show up to help up Logan Paul on the outside, then "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and CM Punk show up to brawl with them. Jey Uso hits everyone on the outside with a dive over the top rope, but this allows Logan Paul to pin Jimmy Uso with a schoolkid pin to win the match and the one-man advantage. After the match, everyone brawls with each other. Roman Reigns shows up and fights his way to the ring, then stands tall with his team in the ring. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up, and Lesnar humorously slips as his pyro goes off before joining his team for a five-on-five brawl that truly ends the show.

As Alexa says she has gone to hell and back for Charlotte, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Nia Jax and Lash Legend show up and head to the ring. Asuka laughs at Alexa while Nia Jax makes fun of Alexa for "standing in the ring like a total loser" before stating that she knows why Charlotte left her and that nobody is coming to save her. As the four of them surround the ring, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky rush to the ring. Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 14, 2025

Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show with an interview from Michael Cole. Gunther says that last week, "Main Event" Jey Uso looked him in the eye and says that he was not afraid of him, and tonight, he is here to let everyone know that Jey Uso is full of crap. When the fans boo Gunther and starts a "Yeet!" chant, Gunther gets frustrated and turns on the fans, and says that ever since he stepped foot in WWE, he has been the greatest gift it has ever received. He talks about how he has been a champion for much of his time in WWE and is currently the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time, and refuses to let someone like Jey Uso ruin this for him. Gunther then urges Jey Uso to put his chest out and walk into WrestleMania with more confidence than he has ever had, because the bell has to ring, and when that happens, he will put him down for a fourth consecutive time. Gunther says he has been told the last two weeks that he went too far with Jimmy Uso and that he lost control, then says he has never lost control in his life, and that when he bathed in his brother's blood, he was in full control, and he loved it. He says that had he had no control, he would have drowned both Jey and Jimmy in Jimmy's blood, then says that he looks forward to telling his mother how much he enjoyed it when he walks out of WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion.

We hear from Bianca Belair, who says that she is in her own head with everything that has been going on as of late, and that she has done nothing for herself but standing up for herself and speaking the truth. She says you do not have to like the truth, but you cannot deny it, and the truth is that she is in a Triple Threat Match. Bianca says that she must prove that she is the best Bianca that anyone has ever seen, and that there is nothing Iyo Sky or Rhea Ripley can do to stop her from becoming champion.

Bayley beats Liv Morgan after Lyra Valkyria grabs onto Bayley from behind to block the Ob-Liv-Ion. This happens after Lyra Valkyria brawls with Raquel Rodriguez on the outside for putting Liv Morgan's foot on the bottom rope following a Bayley-to-Belly.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says that she can see through Bianca Belair and that Bianca thrives on playing with her emotions. She says Bianca fails to realize that when she loses something she loves, she will stop at nothing to get it back. She says she did not have to give Iyo Sky a championship match, but afterwards, she took a page out of her playbook to get her book. Rhea says she cannot wait to make Rhea feel what it is like to be the bad guy when she gets back what belongs to her.

Rey Mysterio beats Julius Creed after all seconds are banned from ringside and El Grande Americano shows up only for Rey to knock Julius into him after initially trying to remove El Grande Americano's mask. After the match, El Grande Americano attacks Rey, then fights off The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) when they show back up. He then hits Rey with a diving headbutt from the top rope, and it is soon revealed that El Grande Americano has once again loaded his mask with a weighted foreign object.

We hear from The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik). Ivar says The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) run their mouths about how they are the best of all time, but Erik says they have blazed a path of destruction and won gold across continents for over a decade. Ivar says they had New Day dead to rights, and Erik says The New Day took the cowards' way out. They then say that The New Day took this to another level by coming for Erik's neck and trying to end his career, and at WrestleMania, this will not be a match or a fight; instead, this will be war.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). Kofi and Xavier says they have been at war the whole time they have been here, and that it will stop when they become tag team champions once again. Xavier says that after they become champions, everyone else will have no choice but to thank God for The New Day.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Karrion Kross. After the match, Logan Paul shows up to congratulate AJ Styles for winning in Sacramento, California before mockingly comparing it to Los Angeles and San Francisco - claiming that the fans in Sacramento “weren’t cool enough to live in Los Angeles or smart enough to live in San Francisco” - before saying that Styles proved that their match at WrestleMania will "cook." Logan Paul then shows off a vignette of himself, but Styles is not impressed and dares Logan Paul to face him in the ring right now. Kross tries to sneak attack Styles, and Styles has to fend off both Kross and Logan. Styles hits Kross with a reverse DDT, but Logan hits Styles with a knockout punch followed by the Paulveriser.

Paul Heyman is seen waiting for Roman Reigns backstage.

"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring. After an encore of his theme, Jey says he said what he had to say to Gunther last week, and while he admits he is crashing out, he is locked in for himself, his family and his fans. He says that Gunther is mad and afraid that he will beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship in front of 60,000 people at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker says this is the biggest title defense of his career before he is suddenly jumped by The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito). General Manager Adam Pearce breaks up the brawl along with officials.

Penta vs. Finn Balor ends in a no-contest after Carlito shows up only for Bron Breakker to show up soon after and break Finn with a Spear as Carlito runs through the ring to run away from Breakker. After the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Carlito gang up on Breakker, but Breakker breaks them both at the same time with a Spear. Breakker is then focused on Penta, but Penta is able to stop Breakker in his tracks and send him tumbling out of the ring before taking everyone out with a dive from the top rope.

We hear from Iyo Sky. She says Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley forget that she is Women's World Champion as they push her out of their fights as if she means nothing, yet she is the reason they are fighting in the first place. Iyo says she has what they want and that she is done being ignored and forgotten, and that Rhea and Bianca will have to go through her to take her title and she is not afraid to defend against both of them, as she has beaten them before and she will beat them again.

Backstage, CM Punk joins Paul Heyman as he waits for Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns shows up and sees what is going on, then Heyman notices Roman and tries to catch up with him. Roman and Heyman head to the ring, and after the commercial break, Roman shows his appreciation towards those who are loyal to him, then asks Heyman how he could betray him. Heyman tells Roman that it was not a betrayal, but a payback of a favor that he owed. Roman says he is the one being screwed over in this favor, then says he will never ask for a favor, as he takes what he wants. Roman says he did not ask for a favor, then asks why he is the one to have to pick up the tab on it. Suddenly, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up and heads to the ring. Rollins says that Roman is putting the pieces together all by himself, and yet he is still missing one piece of the puzzle. He calls their match the most important in match of WWE, WrestleMania and the industry, as the winner will define the future of the industry. He says that it cannot be Roman, because if this business is filled with people like him that do not show up outside of when it is convenient and expects everyone else to do the dirty work, then the business dies. He also says that the business cannot be filled with "little CM Punks" who cannot pick up their ball and go home and only come back off the success of others. Rollins says he will sacrifice mental and physical well-being to do what is best for business, and that he must win. He says that favors do not happen by chance; they are a choice, and that he chose not to put Paul Heyman in the hospital last week, and Heyman can choose whether or not to pay that debt to him. Rollins admits that Heyman is a scumbag and that he expects nothing from him. He then says Heyman is in CM Punk's corner by choice, not chance, and that Roman must figure out why Heyman is picking Punk over him. Roman says Rollins is right, and that Heyman has made his choice. He then says that he has made his, and he punches out Rollins and throws him into the ring post. Heyman acknowledges Roman as his Tribal Chief, but Roma shoves him to the mat. CM Punk shows up and brawls with Roman. Punk checks on Heyman, then Roman gets back in the ring and Spears Punk before going for a ground and pound. Rollins then gets back in the ring and hits Roman in the back with a metal folding chair much like he did when he turned on The Shield before hitting Punk and Roman with The Stomp.

Country music singer-songwriter Hardy is seen in the crowd.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles heads to the ring. Styles talks about how he was ecstatic to come back to Nashville, Tennessee almost four months ago and get his career back on track only to get injured. The crowd chants "Welcome back!" as Styles says that his injury was supposed to end his career, and says that he had something to prove and gas left in the tank after he got injured, and while it was difficult to get back in the ring, it was worth it. Styles says that he is back and that he has a long to-do list, then "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Carlito show up. Both Dominik and Carlito are booed out of the building as they try to speak, and Dominik says that things have changed and that The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Carlito, Dominik, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez) runs Raw. Styles humorously mentions Damian Priest, Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley not being anywhere before making fun of Carlito's pants and mentioning that nobody likes Dominik before admitting he is inspired by Dominik's work ethic. He says Dominik is here every night, but he will always be "Rey Mysterio's punk-ass kid." Dominik goes for a cheap shot, but Styles blocks it. Carlito gets a Pelé Kick, but Dominik hits him. Styles recovers, and Dominik soon runs away. Carlito fights Styles, and Styles hits him with the Phenomenal Forearm.

Jackie Redmond interviews Seth "Freakin'" Rollins in the crowd. Rollins says the road to WrestleMania is getting clearer as "Main Event" Jey Uso is taking on Gunther, which means that all eyes are on "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, the WWE Championship, the Elimination Chamber and whoever wins in the Chamber. Rollins says that he will win the Elimination Chamber Match when Finn Balor shows up, and says that while all eyes are on Rollins, they are watching his downfall, as everyone is seeing the cracks. Finn says the only thing standing in his way is "a guy who is falling apart," and Rollins says they have crossed paths in the past and have always put on a show. Rollins warns Finn that he has unfinished business with CM Punk, and afterwards, he would like to tie up some loose ends with Cody, which means Finn is in his way. He then says that after next week, Finn will not be standing at all.

Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles meets with General Manager Adam Pearce and gets a match next week against "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Pearce leaves, then Styles runs into Bron Breakker, and both men have a staredown. Breakker says "See you around," then leaves.

Backstage, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky) runs into Rhea Ripley. Rhea says she owes Iyo Sky nothing, and is giving Iyo Sky a match because she wants to. In three weeks, Rhea will defend the Women's World title against Iyo Sky. Iyo says "Can't wait. I'll see you then."

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk admits he did not win the Royal Rumble, and he is not mad at "Main Event" Jey Uso, as he has a goal and he can still achieve it. He then says he will have to win the Elimination Chamber, and while John Cena was placed in the match, he deserves to call his shot. He then says that he busted his ass to earn his shot and that he will beat the living crap out of John Cena in order to come for the WWE Championship, then addresses Drew McIntyre, who he says ran to SmackDown after he beat him. As for Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Finn Balor, it does not matter who qualifies for it, and it does not matter who else qualifies, because it is him who will get his hand raised, as WrestleMania 41 belongs to him. Suddenly, Logan Paul shows up and says he has better names for Punk, then says he cannot understand why the fans boo him and cheer Punk before calling his elimination of CM Punk in the Rumble "the best fifteen minutes of [Punk's] career." After stating that he had Punk's number in the Rumble and will have it in the Chamber, he says it will be time for Rey Mysterio's fifteen minutes when he beats him. Punk tells Logan to worry about Rey, not him, and that he will put him to sleep in the Elimination Chamber.

He then talks about how he started his path to redemption last week and how he will keep it going at the Royal Rumble when he tosses everyone out of the ring, especially Roman Reigns. Rollins especially hopes to toss CM Punk out of the ring and crush his WrestleMania dreams to dust, then questions which championship he will go after. As he does, Gunther shows up. Gunther asks Rollins where he has been the last few months, as he has been defending the World Heavyweight Championship against "Main Event" Jey Uso, who he calls "a clown," then says Rollins has forgotten what matters in the company. He tells Rollins to focus on the Royal Rumble even though he is unsure Rollins still has it in him, but Rollins reminds Gunther that his title would not exist without him, as he made the title. Gunther tells Rollins he is aware of who he is, but tells him that he is not the best wrestler in the world anymore, as he is the World Heavyweight Champion. Gunther then tells Rollins to win the Royal Rumble, challenge him and square off with him at WrestleMania so he can make him feel what his past opponents have felt and realize that the only name synonymous with the World Championship is his. All of a sudden, Logan Paul shows up, and the crowd proceeds to boo him out of the building as he brags about how great he is at everything he does. He says this is "the Netflix era" and that it needs a new face oozing with charisma and confidence. Logan then says that when he wins the Royal Rumble, he can choose which champion to go for, and entertains the idea of wrestling Gunther. Gunther then changes his mind, saying he wants Logan to win the Rumble so he can embarrass him when he slaps the smirk off his face. Rollins agrees, but says that Gunther will be embarrassed if he chooses to take back the World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews CM Punk. CM Punk says that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins will fare as well as everyone else in the Royal Rumble when Sami Zayn shows up and confronts Punk for saying he is not on his level, then says he agrees as he has main evented WrestleMania while Punk has not. Sami leaves, then runs into Karrion Kross. Sami tells Kross to stop doing whatever it is he is trying to do, but Kross tells Sami to think with his head instead of his heart, as he is in the best position yet and he has a world of opportunity. "Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring along with rapper Quavo. After Jey Uso and Quavo get the crowd fired up for several minutes, Jey Uso thanks the fans. Jey Uso admits that he lost to Gunther, but says he knows he can beat him. He mentions Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Gunther mentioning him, then says he will win the Royal Rumble, main event WrestleMania and become World Champion.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Lyra Valkyria. Lyra says she is taking the next big fight in front of her and declaring for the Royal Rumble before American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile) show up. Heyman then announces that Roman Reigns will be in the Royal Rumble. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre shows up and says Heyman should love him due to all the success that he has gotten, as he considers himself "the daddy of The Bloodline." McIntyre talks about how he won the Royal Rumble in 2020, beat Brock Lesnar to become WWE Champion at WrestleMania, and how Lesnar left Heyman at sea to swim to shore and become Roman's wise man. He says that because of this, Heyman is on the corner of the cover art, and that Heyman should be thanking him. Heyman thanks him, but tells him he is crowding him right now. McIntyre apologizes and backs off, then asks Heyman to tell "[his] boy" that he will target him and beat him within an inch of his life before he eliminates him at the Royal Rumble. Heyman says he will pass the message on to Roman, but McIntyre stops him as he decides to leave. McIntyre says he was not talking about Roman, but about CM Punk. He then lets Heyman leave.

Suddenly, CM Punk shows up and says all of this is getting to Cody a little bit, as he knows what the championship can do to a man and that it weighed on him and turned him into something he did not want to be around the 300-day mark. He says that Cody wants to do it all, but nobody is Superman. Cody says he considers CM Punk a friend, and CM Punk agrees, saying he will always be Cody's friend partly because of a promise to his father and partly because he loves him. He feels like he let him down, but admits that nobody could have prepared Cody for this. Punk says that when you are champion, there are no friends, and heavy is the head that wears the crown. Cody mentions that last year, Punk had a prediction that had a lot of truth to it, and asks Punk what is next for him. Punk says that in the short term, he gets to sleep in his own bed tonight, but he may not sleep at all due to the day ahead. He says that even if he is lucky enough to spend time with his wife and daughter, he will still be focused on Royal Rumble, and even if Cody can get past Owens, there is the next show, and there is the sacrifice. Punk says this means something to guys like them, but somebody will be on the way up while Cody is on the way down. Punk says that this is the good news, and that the bad news is that this somebody is him. Punk says that since he is his one true friend, he will stab him in the front. Cody says that when he came into the wrestling business, everyone chased CM Punk down in OVW, and even when Punk was gone, that chase never ended. He then says that in that time, the relationship has changed, because Punk is now chasing him. Cody tells Punk he hopes that he wins the Royal Rumble, because he wants him to catch up. Punk stops Cody says a lot of men have hoped it is him that catches them, but there are a graveyard of careers who wanted him to until they did. Cody stops Punk and says he wants Punk to win so he can see the look on his face when the best in the world finds out he is not the best in the world anymore.
