Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 29, 2016

Triple H makes his appearance to start tonight's show. Triple H says only few have it, and the rest bow down to it. That "it" is authority, and he plays to the people's fear to being destroyed by authority in order to know their place in life. He says that Roman should have known his place, as challenging and disrespecting him has led him to sitting at home breathing through his mouth. All of a sudden, Dean Ambrose shows up. He says he just got off the phone with Roman Reigns, and says that Roman told him he's coming for Triple H. Ambrose said he wanted to talk to him Triple H last week, but all the craziness from last week put a stop to that. Ambrose wants to know who Triple H wanted to see - or not see - win the Triple Threat match at Fastlane. Triple H says he didn't see Ambrose winning, but Ambrose asks if Triple H can see him now. Triple H is convinced Ambrose is legitimately crazy, and that Triple H is smart enough not to get in the ring with someone like him because - according to Ambrose - Triple H doesn't think he can beat him. Ambrose then challenges Triple H to a match tonight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H says he's the authority figure around here, but he says he'll think about it and give him an answer by the end of the night. Ambrose says he has other things to do, and Triple H says he's right, because Ambrose is going up against Alberto Del Rio tonight in an attempt to teach him what authority is.

Charlotte watches from ringside for the next match.

Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks to determine a #1 contender for the WWE Divas Championship ends with both women's shoulders down on the mat after Sasha Banks hits a Sunset Flip on Becky. Becky is on top of Sasha, but since all four shoulders were down, this match is a draw.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman) appears. Bray thinks he is either insane or that his mind is key to saving the entire world. He asks the WWE Universe to take his hand and join him.

The Miz quickly beats Dolph Ziggler.

Stephanie McMahon shows up to accept the Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award as she intended to last week. She says that Shane McMahon isn't here tonight, and won't be after The Undertaker beats him at WrestleMania 32. She then tries to recite her speech for the award, but everyone keeps booing her and chanting for Shane. Stephanie McMahon finally snaps on the WWE Universe, ticked off with Shane for his actions last week and calling him a regular backstabber. She says it eats Shane alive that she wields power and that she's married to Triple H, and that the thought of working for Shane makes her want to vomit. She hopes that The Undertaker will decimate Shane and force everyone to bow down to her and Triple H.

The League of Nations (Sheamus and Rusev) beat The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) with a distraction from Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio attacks Kalisto after the match.

Renee Young interviews Natalya...and it's a plug for Subway.

WWE has surpassed 10 million subscribers on YouTube.

Ryback, now re-focused on going solo, destroys Adam Rose.

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) say they're successful because they're a brotherhood. They say they're the greatest three-man team in history and will fight anyone who says otherwise. As they talk about how they go together like other great teams (like Sonic and Tails), Chris Jericho's entrance stops them.

Chris Jericho and AJ Styles beats The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) after Jericho turns a Trouble In Paradise into the Walls of Jericho. After the match, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho make it clear that "Y2AJ" is a thing and challenge The New Day to a match for the tag team titles next week.

Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best is in the front row with his youngest son.

Vince McMahon shows up. He doesn't like the idea of his son Shane McMahon running the show, and implies that he would ruin everything. He says it will never happen, and that it would take a miracle for Shane to beat The Undertaker. He loves Shane enough to teach him a lesson he'll never, ever forget, and introduces his "implement of destruction," The Undertaker. 'Taker shows up. He puts his hand on Vince's neck and tells him "You know what will happen when the door shuts behind me at WrestleMania...but the blood of your son is gonna be on your hands, not mine." 'Taker leaves. Vince says Shane has not only lost the match, but also his inheritance, which will all go to Stephanie. He even goes so far as to disown and renounce Shane as his son.

Bubba Ray Dudley beats Jey Uso thanks to the interference attempt from D-Von Dudley.

Goldust runs into R-Truth, who tells him that Golden Truth isn't going to happen. Goldust just walks away.

Country singer Randy Houser is in the front row tonight.

Big Show beats Kevin Owens after knocking him off the top rope.

Renee Young interviews Brie Bella. As Brie talks about how her family is doing, Lana shows up and makes fun of her life as of right now. Brie tells Lana to go back to her cave.

Naomi beats Brie Bella with the Slay-o-mission thanks to some help from Tamina. After the match, Lana shows up and slow claps, mocking Brie.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, Terry Gordy, Jimmy Garvin) are the next inductees to be announced for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016.

As Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch argue over who could have won, Charlotte shows up and says they have one more opportunity on SmackDown to decide who will be #1 contender to the Divas title. Charlotte then tells them they'll both lose regardless.

Next week: Chris Jericho and AJ Styles vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) for the WWE Tag Team Championships! Shane McMahon also makes an appearance!

Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del Rio ends when Triple H shows up and sics The League of Nations (Sheamus, Del Rio, Rusev, King Barrett) on him. Triple H tells Dean he should know that he can never win against The Authority, which causes Dean Ambrose to throw punches at Triple H until he gets hit with a Pedigree. Triple H tells him he has his championship match, and as he leaves the ring, Dean Ambrose thanks Triple H through the microphone. Triple H then returns to the ring to do even more damage to Ambrose, and officials have to pull him off of Ambrose.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for February 27, 2016

Couldn't watch this episode due to the Oscars, so I have two sites to thank for this one: Cageside Seats and Voices of Wrestling. I definitely suggest checking out the latter as their ROH reviews are a nice read, and if you like them, you'll probably like the rest of the site, too, as they cover a lot of professional wrestling across the globe.

Dalton Castle attacks "The Last Real Man" Silas Young and The Beer City Bruiser before the start of the first match. Security rush in to remove Castle, with Castle saying "Make me proud" to The Boys. Young then grabs the microphone and scolds The Boys for squandering all the opportunities he gave them to become men, and says that if they beat him and The Bruiser, he will leave professional wrestling.

He also doesn't care who he faces in the finals, as he's been men like Lio Rush and Punisher Martinez before in his career.

Lio Rush beats Punisher Martinez to continue to the finals of the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament. After the match, Kevin Kelly interviews Rush, who says that he's been battered and bruised, but that won't stop him.

They showed Chris Jericho and AJ Styles that they own the road. Before Bo can speak, Adam says the missing piece of the puzzle is matching biker jackets. Curtis Axel wants to know why they would need matching biker jackets. Heath likes the idea and has one in his locker room. Bo asks if they can get their names on the back before saying he is going to run Darren Young off the road so they can get them afterwards.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 25, 2016

Triple H makes his appearance to start off SmackDown. He quotes the first four lines of Sympathy For The Devil by The Rolling Stones, and says that if Roman Reigns has forgotten who he is, that there would be repercussions for Monday night and that he was lying outside the ring in a pool of his own blood and getting his nose surgically repaired, then there is no doubt in his mind now. We see a video package of Triple H's devastating beatdown on Roman from Monday night, followed by a post-surgery picture of Roman Reigns on the TitanTron, with Triple H saying that is the face of a man who has been humbled. He says he is the law; he is the authority. He says you can't beat authority, even though it is human nature to fight against it anyway. He tells Roman Reigns and anyone who can hear his voice to have some courtesy, sympathy and taste or he will "lay your soul to waste." Triple H says that he was walked on a lot of people to get to where he is now, then talks about Roman Reigns, saying he works hard and has the sweat, but Triple H says he himself has the blood (which is proven literally is on some towels with Roman's blood on it that Triple H pulls out of his suit), and that the tears are yet to come. Triple H says he will humble Roman Reigns and tear his dreams out from under him, for he is WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

It is announced that there is no timetable for Roman Reigns to return after the surgery on his nose.

The League of Nations (Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, King Barrett) beats Neville, Dolph Ziggler and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto).

Kevin Owens tells Renee Young that he was inspired by Dean Ambrose taking a beating from Brock Lesnar, and has decided to give Ambrose his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship tonight. Only thing is, Ambrose isn't here...but Big Show is. Owens says he has the night off, but Big Show appears and tells Owens he hasn't beaten him yet. Owens makes a "road to retirement" joke, causing Big Show to grab him by the shirt collar and tell him they have a match tonight where he plans to knock Owens out.

Before the next match, The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) deny the WWE Universe their tables before going through their "we're not a nostalgia act" spiel. D-Von says that they do what they do for themselves, and will become tag team champions for themselves as well. Bubba Ray says the WWE Universe can take their tables and chants and shove them.

D-Von Dudley beats Jimmy Uso when Jey Uso pulls out a table, distracting the ref. Bubba Ray Dudley takes advantage by pushing Jimmy off the top rope, allowing D-Von to stack him up for the win.

The Undertaker returns to Raw this Monday!

AJ Styles and Chris Jericho talk about their recent matches, and Jericho thinks they have the chemistry to become tag team champions. They have a match against The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods), and if they can beat them tonight, they're in the running...but they need a third man. That man ends up being Mark Henry, who says that The New Day play around too much. He wants to teach them a serious lesson. Jericho tells him he's in.

Kevin Owens beats Big Show by count out after Big Show gets on the top rope only for Owens to pull one of Show's legs off, causing him to land groin first on the turnbuckle and fall out of the ring. Big Show is unable to get back in the ring in time.

Natalya vs. Becky Lynch ends when Naomi and Tamina attack Natalya. They go after Becky Lynch, but Sasha Banks shows up and evens the odds. Charlotte then shows up with Ric Flair and says the #1 contendership for the Divas Championship is this Monday on Raw and that she'll sit at ringside to see who wants it more, and wishes them the best of luck.

Goldust shows up before the next match. R-Truth wants him out of here, not wanting him around after what happened at Fastlane, but Goldust says he's headed to a neutral corner.

R-Truth beats Heath Slater when the rest of The Social Outcasts (Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel) distract the ref only for Goldust to take advantage by slapping Heath Slater in the face from the apron, allowing R-Truth to get the win.

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) make fun of The League of Nations (Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, King Barrett) before making fun of Chris Jericho, AJ Styles and Mark Henry, and claim Xavier Woods is the World's Strongest Man.

Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for February 23, 2016

Brie and Nikki do a selfie over an air vent in the floor at a historic hotel. Nikki says she won't be with John Cena on the Today show and won't be able to fly there in time, so she's heading home. Brie tells her she's staying with mom since she's worn out her welcome at her place, but Nikki says her mom lives too far from every place she has to go to. Brie explains that Nikki does not like being alone, especially in the huge house that she shares with John.

Rosa tells Brie and Nikki that her mom will meet his boyfriend Bobby - who is now the father of the child she's expecting - and that she will meet his dad. Her mom doesn't know that Bobby is an atheist, and she is afraid that her mom won't like her. Brie and Nikki tell her not to hide this fact.

Paige and Rosa meet backstage. She finds out there is video of her and Alicia Fox in a bar, and tells Rosa about the experience, where the person doing it was less than courteous. She meets with Alicia, who isn't looking forward to having to deal with the after-effects as they have to tell Carrano.

Nattie and Brie watch the broadcast of tonight's Raw backstage as Seth Rollins knees John Cena in his nose, breaking it. Even Nikki notices that Cena's nose is broken.

Alicia talks to Rosa after what happened with her and Paige. Mark Carrano understood what happened, but Alicia still feels awful and that she should change something about herself.

Nattie brings a gift to Nikki and John Cena's place, and they both have a glass of wine. Nikki tells Nattie that she's very concerned about John Cena, and that she fears losing him.

Paige, Rosa, Mandy and Alicia are riding together. Alicia is still on the lifestyle change kick and doesn't want to get into trouble wherever they're going.

Brie and Nikki are at a red carpet event for WWE 2K16. Nikki is asked about John Cena and the state of the Divas Revolution.

Rosa and Bobby head out to get some dinner and talk about their relationship on the way there. The parents are visiting for the first time, and Rosa isn't worried about not only their religions, but the fact that she can't cook. Rosa asks Bobby to fake being a Christian to please her mom, but Bobby doesn't think it's a good idea, and says that he respect her and her family for their religious beliefs, and that if her mom was a good Christian, she would respect his. When it comes to baptizing baby Jordan, however, it's another story, as doing it goes against all of Bobby's beliefs and not doing it goes against all of Rosa's beliefs.

Paige and Alicia head to a restaurant en route to furniture shopping. Paige, however, is too hung up on eating and drinking, and Alicia thinks Paige isn't taking her wishes seriously.

Rosa baby-proofs her house and hires a chef to cook for her and Bobby so she can pretend she did it all.

Paige and Alicia head to a bingo hall. The old men take a liking to them, and Paige flirts with a few of them. At this point, it's the evening and everything is closed, much to Alicia's chagrin.

Nicole wishes she was taking care of John Cena, and she and Brie meet with Nattie at the hotel. Nikki wants to be in the room with Brie, but Brie wants to be alone and decompress after travel.

Rosa's mom and Bobby's dad show up. Everything goes well, until dinner when Rosa's mom asks Bobby to lead the before-dinner prayer and Bobby comes clean. Rosa has to tell her mom that Bobby is atheist. Thankfully, it doesn't get awkward.

Paige and Alicia head to a bar. Alicia is tired of doing what Paige wants to do, and gets fed up and leaves.

Back at the family dinner with Rosa and Bobby's parents, Rosa's mom brings up the baptism of baby Jordan. Bobby feels awkward and steps out of the room, and Rosa follows him to the back of the house. They come back to the dinner table and put the baptism conversation away. Rosa feels like her mom has written Bobby off, and is afraid that if Jordan doesn't get baptized, it will cause friction. Bobby's father, however, is a lot more understanding.

Nikki barges into Brie's hotel room by pretending to be her, getting a key and getting in to see what she's up to. (In other words, she used Twin Magic.) Brie gets upset and tells her to get out. Nikki's feelings are hurt.

Paige finally catches up to Alicia Fox, but finds out that Alicia isn't in a good mood. Alicia tells Paige she just needs a lifestyle change so she can have a reputation she can fall back on in case she's done with wrestling. Paige says she's not ready to settle down just yet, and apologizes for not being there for her.

Nikki asks Nattie if she can go to her room with. Nattie says yes, and Nikki tells her what's going on. Nattie feels Brie is distressed with what's going on with Bryan. Nikki says that when she's alone, she has nightmares and is afraid she has a fear of loss or even death. Nattie thinks that stuff that happened in her past may be causing this, and Nikki thinks the death of her grandfather may be part of the cause along with John Cena's nose being broken.

Paige makes it up to Alicia by taking her to a taxidermy store - something Alicia is more interested in than Paige - and buys her a skull with horns.

Nattie and Brie meet Dennis Haskins - Mr. Belding from Saved By The Bell - backstage. Nattie then tells Brie she's worried about Nikki, and tells Brie what Nikki told her. Brie doesn't think much of it, but when Nattie says that Nikki's fear is almost debilitating, Brie has the feeling that maybe there is a deeper, underlying

Brie invited Nikki to her house. Nikki tells her that she's always scared of losing people ever since their grandfather died, especially John Cena, and that she feels safe with a family member nearby. Brie, who handled their grandfather's death much differently and putting on a strong face, feels bad and changes her mind about letting Brie stay with her.

Bonus clip: Nikki uses Twin Magic to get a room key to Brie's room.

Bonus clip: Rosa tests her cooking skills.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 22, 2016

It is announced on the pre-show that Brock Lesnar attacked Dean Ambrose shortly after he arrived in the arena before the show. Lesnar slams Ambrose into a nearby limousine a few times before walking away. Dean Ambrose is taken away in an ambulance.

Renee Young interviews Dolph Ziggler, who admits that Kevin Owens got the better of him at Fastlane. He promises to put the WWE Intercontinental Championship around his waist at WrestleMania 32. The Miz shows up and says Renee Young should be asking about his WrestleMania plans, since he headlined it five years ago. Dolph Ziggler tells him that was five years ago, and that everything he's done since then has been largely forgotten. After asking him what he's done lately, Ziggler tells Miz that if he thinks he deserves a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, then he himself doesn't deserve to be a WWE Superstar.

The Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award can be see in the center of the ring at the beginning of the show.

Vince McMahon shows up to present the Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award. Vince McMahon talks about his father, then awards the trophy to his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, who shows up to accept it. Vince tells her she was born for this business and embodies all the attributes of his father. As she thanks Triple H for making everything possible, Shane McMahon appears in the WWE for the first time in years. Vince tries to hug him and shake his hand, but Shane stops him, saying that this award is why he's here and that Stephanie isn't deserving of it. Stephanie tells Shane he doesn't know what he's talking about, especially when it comes to running a business like WWE, but Shane tells her that she and Triple H have run the company into the ground. Stephanie tells him to get out, but Shane tells her and Vince that Vince messed up big time a couple of years and he had to save his bacon. In the process, he was able to take some time off and save his place in line. As for Stephanie's rise atop the company ladder in WWE, Shane let it happen. Stephanie wants to know if this is true, and Vince says there's some truth to it. Shane then says it's all true, and at the time...it was best for business. Shane then tells Steph to leave the ring. Stephanie tells Shane she'll never forgive him. Vince tries to cut him a check, thinking it's about money, but Shane says it's not about money, it's about the McMahon legacy...and that he wants control of Monday Night Raw. Vince says if he controls Raw, he controls the entire company, and that he can't just pick up where he left off now that WWE is a publicly traded company. But he cuts him a deal: he'll give Shane what he wants if he has one match...one night...against an opponent of Vince's choosing. If he wins, he gets what he wants. If he loses, Vince wants everything in Shane's lockbox so that Shane can't hold anything over his head ever again. Shane agrees, and Vince names the time and the place: WrestleMania 32. Lesnar then hits an F5 on Reigns, and is about to leave when Triple H shows up and looks towards the ring.

Here's the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

My predictions for WWE Fastlane 2016

Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar

for #1 contendership for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Well, here we are again. Ambrose, Reigns and Lesnar are all in the title picture again, this time with Reigns trying to get the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back from Triple H. Now he not only has to contend with his best friend and Shield buddy Dean Ambrose, but Lesnar is in the mix yet again, and we know far too well what Lesnar can do if the last year has been any indication. How is this gonna end...and who will face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32?

My prediction: Roman Reigns is most likely going to win this one. C'mon, WWE, make it happen.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Yep, this match again. Hopefully for the last time.

My prediction: Kalisto retains.

Brie Bella vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Divas Championship

The match just...happened. I...I don't even have any way to explain it. They just set it up and didn't even have these two meet each other. No promos. No build-up. Nothing...until the week after Daniel Bryan retired, when Charlotte told her to get out of the ring because nobody except Daniel and her sister Nikki wanted her. Not surprisingly, this led to Brie kicking Charlotte's ass on the last Raw before Fastlane.

My prediction: Charlotte retains.

Team BAD (Naomi and Tamina)
vs. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch

Now that Sasha Banks has broken off from Team BAD and wants to make it on her own, Naomi and Tamina just have to make a stink about it. But thanks to the fact that Team BAD have attacked both Sasha and Becky Lynch, as well as the fact that both women have been screwed over by people who they thought were friends, we have an uneasy alliance on our hands...the only problem is, Sasha and Becky might blow up on each other come Fastlane...

My prediction: Going to Team BAD for this one. I can kinda sense them winning somehow...

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

On the last Raw before Fastlane, there was a Fatal 5-Way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship...and Kevin Owens won. Dolph Ziggler has beaten Kevin Owens twice as of late...and he wants to take the title again for the first time since 2014. Will it happen?

My prediction: Kevin Owens retains.

Ryback, Big Show and Kane
vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman)

Three men were temporarily taken out of action by the Wyatts around the time of the Royal Rumble match...and now they're back and out for revenge. Can they get it, or will The Wyatts bring another apocalypse?

My prediction: The Wyatts will probably win this one.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho

Here it is: AJ/Jericho III. One win each. Who's gonna win the rubber match?

My prediction: AJ Styles is taking this one.

Baron Corbin tells William Regal that it's not too late to make the right decision, and wants in on the #1 contendership rematch. William Regal tells him his decision is final. Baron Corbin then tells Regal that he believes in an eye for an eye, especially when it comes to stealing.
