Daniel Garcia proclaims this will happen when he twists Darby's body and makes it so he does not make it to All Out.

CM Punk heads to the ring. He asks the fans if they are sick of yet, as he can go for weeks hearing "Cult of Personality" and feeling the love, and while there are some people who will get tired of it quickly, he is loving it and he is doing this while it lasts. He knows that at All Out, this could end for him, as he has not wrestled in seven years and has no idea how that night could go. He then promises that, with this potentially ending on Sunday, he will gives the fans his best. Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for September 26, 2018

Matt Striker reads a letter from Antonio Cueto on the air at the start of the show. The letter states that last week, four men had a dream of making it to the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro, but those dreams were crushed last week when Marty "The Moth" Martinez won both the Gift of the Gods and the Lucha Underground Championships. Many questions have been brought up because of this, and now all of the men impacted by Marty's actions - Pentagon Dark, Mil Muertes, King Cuerno and El Dragon Azteca Jr. - will do battle with one another in a Four-Way #1 Contender's Match where the winner will face Marty for the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro.

Before the next match, Jack Evans says everyone would want to see a match from "wrestling's one true god, Jack Evans," but he refuses to compete in an organization that allows "a dangerous and vile individual" like XO Lishus to fight freely. He is also worried about Johnny Mundo's wedding, saying that had he been there, he would have ripped "The Monster" Matanza Cueto's head off. He says that there will be no match as long as XO Lishus is around, and says he quits. Antonio Cueto, who has been watching, says nobody likes quitters, but at the same time, he is a compassionate boss who hears Evans' complaints. He makes it clear that Jack Evans will fight tonight, and if he wins, he can walk out the door. If he loses, however, he will never walk out of the temple ever again, as he has been chosen to become the next sacrifice to the gods. Jack Evans tries to run, but the doors are locked and Matanza Cueto comes out of them soon afterwards. Evans tries to run away from Matanza, but Antonio Cueto trips Jack Evans with his cane.

The wedding between Johnny Mundo and Taya commences. When minister Famous B asks if anybody is against the marriage, Antonio Cueto suddenly shows up and tells Johnny that he did not come here to object to his marriage, and unlike his son Dario Cueto, he actually likes Johnny and Taya. He says that before the wedding becomes official, he wants to give a gift from his family to theirs. He then asks for the bell to be rung, but instead of an opponent, Antonio Cueto announces that there are tacos for everyone. He then congratulates Johnny and Taya on their wedding, then goes back into his office. Taya and Johnny exchange their vows, then the ring is presented. Ricky Mundo and Rosa show up and deliver the ring, then Famous B verbally disrespects Rosa and Johnny tells Ricky to get out of the ring. As Famous B delcares Johnny and Taya husband and wife, "The Monster" Matanza Cueto shows up and attacks everyone, making The Beautiful Brenda faint in the process and dumping Famous B out of his wheelchair by grabbing the wheelchair and turning it over. All the while, Ricky Mundo is seen laughing as Mantanza Cueto dumps Johnny over the top rope and into a table before hitting Wrath of the Gods on a busted open Taya and choke slamming her on the wedding cake.

Before the beginning of the next match, it is announced on commentary that Vibora is absent, but it is not brought up by commentary that he is dead. Kobra Moon then says that what Johnny Mundo did to Vibora was cold blooded. She likes that, and says that this is why Mundo belongs in her tribe. She then says that Mundo thought he had an advantage, but she has many subjects, and tonight, he will meet his newest one: "Jeremiah Snake," whom she has brought back from death with venom and has since been reborn. Jeremiah Crane comes out in a mask in a zombie-like state, then acts like his usual self before doing Kobra's bidding. The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya Valkyrie, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Ricky Mundo) shows up, and Johnny Mundo says he likes the last minute addition before saying he was thinking of the same time. He tells Ricky Mundo that this is one job he will not do, and says he needs someone he can trust before telling Ricky to go play with Rosa in the locker room. Mundo says he needs someone he can count on, and since Jack Evans is afraid of snakes, he needs someone who has what it takes to cut off the Reptile Tribe's heads like they did Vibora. He then introduces their new partner: Aerostar, who shows up wearing the same yellow headband as the rest of The Worldwide Underground.

The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya Valkyrie, "The Darewolf" PJ Black) and Aerostar beat The Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Daga, Drago and Jeremiah Snake). As per pre-match stipulations, Kobra Moon has to grant Johnny Mundo one wish, and Johnny Mundo tells Kobra Moon she owes him a wish. Mundo uses his wish for Aerostar, telling Kobra Moon that he wishes for Drago to be freed. Mundo leads a crowd chant of "Set him free!" and Kobra Moon has no choice but to let Drago free. Taya is crying because Mundo made a wish for Aerostar instead of her, and after Aerostar frees Drago from his iron collar, Taya calls Mundo an idiot for helping Aerostar and says that everything they did was for nothing. Mundo says that Kobra Moon could not grant his wish, because only Taya could do that. PJ Black then pulls out a small black ring box from his trunks and hands it to Johnny Mundo, and Taya cannot believe what she is seeing as Johnny Mundo does his best "Macho Man" Randy Savage as he asks Taya to marry her. The crowd chants "Si!" as Taya cries "Yes!" Mundo says "Ooh yeah!," then Savage's music plays before Mundo places the engagement ring on Taya's finger before they both kiss.

In the locker room, Ricky Mundo tells Rosa that he has a wish, too: that Taya and Johnny are together until death do them part. Rosa laughs along with Ricky Mundo as they both look into a mirror, and the show ends.

We see Matanza ueto chained to the floor in a basement. Antonio Cueto says it is not much, but it is still better than the cell Dario Cueto locked him in. He then says that he failed Matanza, not the other way around, and asked the gods to leave him a sliver of his humanity. As a result, he has the key that holds his soul, and when Dario took Matanza from him, he planned to exploit him, but he kept the key as he cared for Matanza. He then says that Dario keeping the key made him weak, and he cannot tolerate weakness. Antonio says he knows what he must do, and while Matanza is his son, he is meant to be so much more than what he is now. He asked Matanza to destroy the key and his soul, and become a god. Matanza breaks the key, and as he does, the chains that bind him to the wooden floor also break. Antonio then says goodbye to Matanza, and we then learn the key has been destroyed.
