Ultima Lucha Cuatro - Week 2 - The Results

Backstage, Johnny Mundo is nearly consumed by the power of the gauntlet, and tells Taya Mundo that he loves her in case he is sacrificed by "The Monster" Matanza Cueto. After Johnny leaves, Rosa is heard saying "I love you, too." Taya finds her in a locker, and Rosa says that Taya is the perfect woman...and the perfect host. Taya is then possessed by Rosa.

Fenix beats El Dragon Azteca Jr. in a two-out-of-three falls match after ring announcer Melissa Santos tries to convince El Dragon Azteca Jr. that there is still good left in him. After the match is tied with one fall apiece, Antonio Cueto shows up and announces that the final fall will be Falls Count Anywhere. After the match, Melissa Santos is so distraught that she cannot even announce Fenix as the winner, and she ends up leaving distraught.

Antonio Cueto says that love makes you do strange things, and announces that he has been informed that ring announcer Melissa Santos has just left the building; however, he has been in intense negotiations in the last few months, and as of a few minutes ago, he has made a blockbuster deal with an incredible talent who is lucha libre royalty, and announces the guest ring announcer for the rest of the night: Shaul Guerrero. Before she can announce the next match, however, Famous B shows up and says he is the guest ring announcer everybody wants to see. Shaul refuses to leave, and Famous B hand her a business card after saying he does't know who she or her family is, and tells her to call him. This infuriates Shaul, who reminds him of who the Guerreros are and that her family is warriors who would kick Famous B's ass before he knew what hit him. After throwing the card at him and calling him "Famous Bitch," Famous B threatens to make her leave the ring. All of a sudden, Chavo Guerrero Jr. shows up, taps Famous B on the shoulder, and then gangs up on Famous B along with Shaul, who hits Famous B with the Three Amigos before Chavo hits Famous B with the top rope frog splash. Afterwards, Chavo and Shaul toss Famous B out of the ring.

The Mack beats Mil Muertes in a Death Match following three Stunners and a brick to Mil Muertes' head. After the match, The Mack rolls Mil Muertes into one of the two coffins that Mil Muertes brought to the ring before celebrating with a couple of beers.

Before the next match, Antonio Cueto shows his irritation with Johnny Mundo for having the Gauntlet of the Gods, saying it does not belong to him and that he will not be heading back to Slamtown with it as he will be in a pool of his own blood as he is sacrificed to the gods by The Monster" Matanza Cueto. When Matanza Cueto shows up, he has a radically different appearance, wearing a sleeveless black body suit, a leather vest with a bone through it and an ancient ceremonial headdress that he wears over his usual mask.

With the help of the Gauntlet of the Gods, Johnny Mundo beats "The Monster" Matanza Cueto in a Sacrifice To The Gods Match.

Backstage, Johnny Mundo is met by Aerostar as he is looking for Taya. Johnny considering holding on to the Gauntlet of the Gods, but Aerostar warns him that the power of the gauntlet is destroying him, not enhancing him. Johnny thinks Aerostar just wants to take the gauntlet's power away from him to have it for himself, but Aerostar warns him that while it helped him defeat "The Monster" Matanza Cueto, he will become a shell as a god will inhabit his body. Johnny does the right thing and hands the Gauntlet of the Gods back to Aerostar, then goes to celebrate his victory with Taya Mundo.

Pentagon Dark beats Marty "The Moth" Martinez in a Cero Miedo Match to win the Lucha Underground Championship for a second time. After the match, Reclusa runs in and attacks Pentagon Dark as Pentagon Dark tries to break Marty's arm, then Vampiro leaves the commentary table and gets in the ring, chasing Reclusa off and handing Lucha Underground Championship to Pentagon Dark. After handing the title to Pentagon Dark, however, both men kick each other in the groin only to fight each other with an exchange of kicks. All of a sudden, another man dressed like Pentagon Dark hits Pentagon Dark in the back with a steel chair before Vampiro introduces him as his new master. After the new master hits a Shooting Star Press from up high, he then hits Pentagon Dark with a corkscrew moonsault. All of a sudden, "The Savage" Jake Strong shows up as Vampiro and his new master leave, and Strong tells Pentagon Dark that Antonio Cueto has made it clear that he can cash in the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Championship whenever he wants. He cashes the title in, then puts Pentagon Dark in the ankle lock. Strong breaks Pentagon Dark's ankle, and becomes the new Lucha Underground Champion.

Epilogue

After the show, El Dragon Azteca Jr. and King Cuerno agree with Aerostar that the Gauntlet of the Gods must go back into hiding. He says that the gods are too strong, but if the three of them strike now, it will give them the advantage that they need. Aerostar tells El Dragon Azteca Jr. to make it quick. El Dragon Azteca Jr. replies "She plants to." Black Lotus - who has not been seen in some time - finally finds "The Monster" Matanza Cueto and reveals that Matanza killed her parents, not El Dragon Azteca. She dons the Gauntlet of the Gods and finishes off Matanza, killing him after ripping his heart out of his chest. El Dragon Azteca Jr. tells Black Lotus that her parents can rest in piece, and Black Lotus tells him that the same can be said of his master. After Black Lotus leaves, El Dragon Azteca Jr. is suddenly attacked by "The Savage" Jake Strong, who breaks his ankle before stealing the gauntlet saying "It belongs to us," as he beats the gauntlet on his shoulder.

Backstage, Johnny Mundo reunites with Taya Mundo, who then proceeds to attack him with otherworldly strength as it becomes obvious to Johnny that Rosa has possessed his wife.

Antonio Cueto meets with the government agent as well as with Vampiro's new master, with everything in the prophecy going according to plan with all of the gods having taken human form and the Lucha Underground Championship back in their control. As "The Savage" Jake Strong gets back in the limousine and announces that "The Monster' Matanza Cueto's blood is on the Gauntlet of the Gods, we then meet a fourth person who says that Matanza was a worthy host and that The Order will never forget his sacrifice, but now a new host must be found. The man then moves his face out of his shadows, and the man is none other than Stu Bennett (also known as former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett), who asks if anybody has any more bad news before declaring it is time to take over the world.

We look back to one year ago, where Aerostar suddenly shows up at Dario Cueto's casket after Antonio Cueto leaves and places the pendant around Dario's neck before telling Dario to come with him. Dario opens his eyes and wakes up, finding out that he had died. With this, season 4 comes to an end.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for October 10, 2018

Taya is in the ring for the first time since her wedding to Johnny Mundo. She calls Antonio Cueto a "piece of shit" and tells him to get his "old ass" out here. Antonio Cueto shows up, and Taya tells him that "The Monster" Matanza Cueto not only put her and Johnny Mundo in the hospital, but sacrificed two of her friends in Joey Wrestling and Jack Evans. He says that he will sacrifice Matanza in return, and demands a match against him right now. Antonio Cueto says Taya is a woman who knows what she wants, but what he wants is a sacrifice to the gods. Matanza shows up, and the first match of the night begins.

"The Monster" Matanza Cueto beats Taya by disqualification after Johnny Mundo shows up for the first time in weeks, much like Taya, and assaults Matanza.

Johnny Mundo will face "The Monster' Matanza Cueto in a Sacrifice To The Gods Match at Ultima Lucha Cuatro!

Mil Muertes and Fenix beat The Mack and El Dragon Azteca Jr. in a Tornado Tag Match.

Famous B and The Beautiful Brenda show up. Famous B talks about how he presided over the wedding of Johnny Mundo and Taya six weeks ago only to be brutalized by "The Monster" Matanza Cueto, and as he laid helpless and unable to do anything, he saw his life flash before his eyes and has rehabbed his leg and gotten back in fighting condition. He has also signed a contract with himself to come out of retirement and fight. Suddenly, Ricky Mundo shows up with Rosa and tells Famous B to shut up, and says he will have to beat some sense into him.

Ricky Mundo beats Famous B. After the match, Ricky says that he has heard that Johnny Mundo and Taya have left the building, which he says is too bad, as he wanted to reveal that it was him who unleashed "The Monster" Matanza Cueto at their wedding in revenge for being treated like a nobody for years. He says that as long as Taya is in the picture, Johnny will never respect him the way that he should, and he tells Taya to consider this an official challenge for Ultima Lucha Cuatro. He then grabs The Beautiful Brenda and chokes her in a crossface to show what he will do to Taya.

Pentagon Dark beats the debuting Reklusa. After the match, Pentagon Dark almost breaks Reklusa's arm, but he lets go of her arm, reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a bag of thumbtacks. He is about to hit Reklusa with a package piledriver into the thumbtacks when Marty "The Moth" Martinez runs into the ring and assaults Pentagon Dark with a barbed wire baseball bat. Reklusa then looks underneath the ring and pulls out a can of gasoline. Marty pulls a lighter out of his trunks as Reklusa pours the gas on Pentagon Dark, then lights the lighter. The show ends with Marty looking at the lighter before blowing the fire out.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for September 19, 2018

Fenix beats Aerostar, then continues assaulting Aerostar with a ground and pound after the match. Ring announcer Melissa Santos pleads with Fenix to stop, saying this is not him and that he should leave the ring and get some help to become the old him again. Fenxi slides out of the ring aggressively towards Melissa, and El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up, fearing Fenix will attack her. Instead, Fenix attacks El Dragon Azteca Jr. and hits him with the Black Fire Driver - the same near finishing move he used on Aerostar for this match - before leaving. Melissa calls for medical help, and the status of El Azteca Dragon Jr.'s Gift of the Gods title defense against Marty "The Moth" Martinez - which is up next - is up in the air.

After the commercial break, medical staff check on El Dragon Azteca Jr. Antonio Cueto shows up and says that this turn of events is most unfortunate, as El Dragon Azteca Jr. had made him a believer and he thought he would defend the Gift of the Gods title all the way to Ultima Lucha Cuatro; unfortunately, he is in no condition to wrestle and the Gift of the Gods title will be forfeited over to Marty "The Moth" Martinez. Ring announcer, who is not a big fan of Marty "The Moth" Martinez, especially after what he has done to her, is not happy about this news. El Dragon Azteca Jr. gets up and says he will fight upon hearing this, and Antonio Cueto, noting that he has the heart of a champion, announces that the match is back on.

Marty "The Moth" Martinez beats El Dragon Azteca Jr. to become the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Champion!

The White Rabbit talks with Paul London, and tells him time is but a flat circle. Paul London says that Saltador and Mala Suerte failed the tribe and sacrificed them in a glorious display of undying loyalty to him. The White Rabbit simply yawns, unimpressed, and has an idea. He says that he and his caged friend, El Bunny, have been going stir-crazy in their underground lair, and that it is time for London to show them the way to the temple. London says yes, and The White Rabbit asks him to lead the way. The three of them teleport out of The White Rabbit's lair.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against King Cuerno and Mil Muertes in a three-way match. After the match, Marty "The Moth" Martinez rushes into the ring and blindsides Pentagon Dark, then looks upon the Lucha Underground Championship and picks it up. Marty hits Pentagon Dark with a title belt shot to the forehead, then hits a double underhook DDT - the same move he hit El Dragon Azteca Jr. with to win the Gift of the Gods title - before curb stomping Pentagon Dark. Antonio Cueto then shows up and mentions that his son Dario Cueto insisted that in order to use the Gift of the Gods, you had to give a week's notice; however, Marty made a convincing argument to him last week about why that is "a stupid rule." Therefore, in Antonio Cueto's temple, the Gift of the Gods can be exchanged for a Lucha Underground title shot any time the holder wants, and asks Marty if he wants to do this right now. Marty says yes, and Antonio makes the title match official.

Marty "The Moth" Martinez beats Pentagon Dark to become the Lucha Underground Champion! During the match, a woman in black crawls out from underneath the ring, gets into the ring and kicks Pentagon Dark in the groin before hitting a sunset powerbomb. This women, while not identified as such on commentary, is Chelsea Green (formerly known as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling), and she leaves the ring so that Martinez can hit the double underhook DDT to win the title. The crowd chants "Bullshit!" as the show comes to an end.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for September 5, 2018

In Mil Muertes' shrine, Catrina tells Mil Muertes she is done with him and that she has her life back again after wasting it in the temple with him. She says they can rule the underworld together, but she never really loved Mil Muertes and the man she truly loved gave her freedom that she refuses to throw away. She then gives Mil Muertes to remember him by: the stone that she used to control him. As she leaves, she is confronted by Melissa Santos, and both women get into a fight. Mil Muertes looks at the stone as Melissa and Catrina continue to brawl. Catrina gets Melissa in an arm bar, and tells her that Fenix never really loved her, saying that Fenix gave her a thousand lives so that she could live again. Melissa says Fenix died Catrina, but Catrina will die for her. The brawl goes outside, and Catrina tries to choke Melissa out with the medallion, but Melissa fights back and sends Catrina flying back, forcing her to grab onto a pipe at the edge of the rooftop. Suddenly, Mil Muertes shows up, tells Melissa to leave, then helps Catrina up before putting the stone back in her hand. Catrina smiles as if she saw this coming, then Mil Muertes drops her. Afterwards, Melissa approaches Catrina's body as Aerostar, and when Melissa tells him she did not do this, Aerostar tells her he knows, and asks for her help by giving him the medallion in exchange for what her heart most desires. He absorbs the power of the stone used to control Mil Muertes, then tells her he will be back. We then go back ten weeks earlier, and see Catrina absorbing Fenix's life in order to revive herself. Aerostar goes back to that time after Catrina has left, and uses the power of the stone to revive Fenix, telling him to come with him. Aerostar then returns ten weeks forward to the present, this time with Fenix. Melissa hugs Fenix, who hugs her back. Aerostar tells Melissa that Fenix has been taken out of time, and that it will take a while for him to be the same again. Melissa says they have all the time in the world, and Melissa hands Aerostar the medallion, thanking him. Aerostar teleports away, and we see dots flying around in one of Fenix's eyes.

It is announced that Johnny Mundo is unable to face Pentagon Dark for the Lucha Underground Championship following the attack on him and Taya at the wedding last week from "The Monster" Matanza Cueto. It is also mentioned that Joey Wrestling is here tonight, and even though he is not contracted to be in the temple, he is here to night to get a modicum of revenge.

Melissa Santos is back as ring announcer this week.

Before the next match, Antonio Cueto says he has heard that Joey Wrestling was a little upset about his son "The Monster" Matanza Cueto crashing Johnny Mundo and Taya's wedding last week, and says that tonight, he will get a chance at revenge. Tonight, Joey will have his first-ever Lucha Underground match, and he wishes he had alerted the paparazzi as the headlines tomorrow would read "Joey Wrestling arrives in Lucha Underground and becomes the next sacrifice to the gods."

"The Monster" Matanza Cueto beats Joey Wrestling, then Joey Wrestling is sacrificed to the gods.

Killshot - now with a new look that involves tactical gear - beats Big Bad Steve. During the match, Son of Havoc shows up with a cup of soda and a bucket of popcorn to get a closer look at the match from the front row. After the match, the fans chant for Son of Havoc, and Killshot turns around on his way to the back and knocks the bucket of popcorn out of Son of Havoc's hands. This leads to a brawl between the two men, which ends with Son of Havoc ripping Killshot's mask off. Killshot runs to the back, completely covering his face with his hands.

Before the next match, Pentagon Dark says he wanted to give a wedding gift to Johnny Mundo and Taya: breaking Johnny MUndo's arm. However, the doctor won't let Mundo wrestle him tonight, which makes him sad, because tonight, he is in the mood to break some bones. He then issues an open challenge to "anyone in the back who has the balls to face [him] tonight" for the Lucha Underground Championship. That challenge is answered by Hernandez, who says that if Pentagon Dark wants anyone with balls, then he is the one with the biggest balls in the building. He says he would have been Lucha Underground Champion at Aztec Warfare if Pentagon Dark had not broken his arm, but Pentagon Dark tells him to go screw himself and get down to the ring. Hernandez says that if Pentagon Dark has the balls to face him, then the Lucha Underground Championship is coming home with him.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against Hernandez. After the match, Pentagon Dark almost breaks Hernandez's arm again, but King Cuerno shows up and hits The Thrill Of The Kill on the Lucha Underground Championship to end the show.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for August 22, 2018

Backstage, ring announcer Melissa Santos is putting on her make-up when El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up and asks her how she is holding up. Melissa says she is doing great, but he asks her to be honest as he knows she misses Fenix. Melissa admits she misses Fenix, then El Dragon Azteca Jr. places the pendant around Melissa's neck before saying she is keeping Fenix alive and well, for the more she grieves, the more she had loved. He tells her that she gave Fenix's life meaning, as he was lucky to have her. Melissa says she is lucky to have El Dragon Azteca Jr., and says that he is a great friend. Melissa then heads to the ring.

Famous B is seen in the crowd, having recovered from his injuries at the hand of "The Savage" Jake Strong.

Before the next match, Catrina demands that ring announcer Melissa Santos introduce her, and calls her a bitch. Melissa says "No!" right to her face, which leads to Catrina ramming Melissa's face into the steel cage wall before ramming her into a mat following the Kiss of Death and smashing a flower vase into the back of her head.

Mil Muertes beats The Mack in a Haunted House Match with a Flatliner off the top rope into a table. At the beginning of the match, it is announced that ring announcer Melissa Santos has been taken to a local medical facility following Catrina's attack on her. After the match, Catrina simply says "no" to Mil Muertes.

Famous B thanks everyone for calling him at (423) GET-FAME and wishing him a speedy recovery. He says it took seven screws and three surgeries, but he will be as good as new soon. He also announces that he will introduce the next match since Melissa Santos is not here, and unlike Melissa, he will never leave anybody again. He then reads the card for the introduction, and is immediately mortified when he finds out that Jake Strong is in the next match.

"The Savage" Jake Strong beats Aerostar with the ankle lock. After the match, Strong refuses to let go of the ankle lock until Drago shows up and swings his nunchaku, forcing Strong to retreat.

Backstage, The Worldwide Underground throw a marriage party. Taya and Mundo get a couples coupon to the Slamtown Resort and Spa as well as a picture of Mundo holding the Lucha Underground Championship, but when Mundo looks at at the piture, he becomes sad as it reminds him of how he lost the title. Taya tells Mundo that she has talked to Cueto and taht one week after the wedding, Mundo will face whoever is champion for the title. Mundo thanks Taya, he takes Taya's hand in marriage, and the week after, he will take back the Lucha Underground title. Meanwhile, Johnny Mundo's agent Benjamin shows up, but Ricky Mundo is in his way. Benjamin says he is useful to Mundo and helped his career, while Ricky is useless to Mundo and hps no one, hence why Ricky is the doorman. When Rosa tells Ricky he can't talk to him this way and to show him how useful he can really be, Ricky allows Benjamin in, but hands him what looks like a fountain pen before stabbing him with it. Meanwhile, the party goes on as normal while Ricky Mundo has a psychotic smile on his blood-splattered face and Rosa laughs.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship in a Last Man or Machine Standing Match against Cage.

Wednesday, August 1, 2018

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for August 1, 2018

It is announced that as per Antonio Cueto, Pentagon Dark and Cage will be competing in tag team action for tonight's main event, and that each man will be picking their own tag team partners.

Daga beats "The Darewolf" PJ Black with a cruficix-wristlock combination. After the match, Kobra Moon calls for Dragon and Vibora, then all four of them stomp PJ Black. As Vibora goes for a Tombstone Piledriver, Johnny Mundo and Taya run in to make the save for PJ Black. Ricky Mundo shows up a little too late, and runs backwards in Vibora. He slaps Vibora in the chest, but Vibora headbutts him. PJ Black gets some Kendo sticks, then hits Vibora with them before Mundo and Black take one Kendo stick each and whack Vibora out of the ring. Afterwards, the Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Drago, Vibora, Daga) retreats, and Kobra Moon tells Johnny Mundo that the Reptile Tribe is in his future and that he must either accept or perish. Johnny Mundo tells Kobra Moon that if she wants her so badly, all she has to do is head to the ring and take her. Kobra Moon then decrees that next week, The Reptile Tribe will fight The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya, Jack Evans, PJ Black, Ricky Mundo) four-on-four, and when they win, Mundo will pledge allegiance to her and he will bow to her for the rest of her days. Mundo asks what happens if The Worldwide Underground wins, then they can grant any wish his heart desires. Kobra Moon then warns Mundo that The Reptile Tribe will not lose. Mundo says next week, both teams win something: Mundo gets his wish while The Reptile Tribe wins a first-class ticket to Slamtown. Kobra Moon tells Mundo to enjoy his freedom, for next week, Mundo is hers.

In the locker room, The Mack gets ready for a match when Catrina shows up and tells him that he crossed Mil Muertes, who will not forget or relent and will come after him. The Mack tells Catrina to tell Mil Muertes to back off before he drops him on his head. Catrina then tells The Mack that death swirls around him and to breathe it in, for his cousin certainly did. She then punches a locker open, and inside is the skull of Big Ryck (who has not been seen since Season 1) complete with a cigar and an eye patch.

El Dragon Azteca Jr. is in the ring. He says last week may have been the most difficult fight of his career, but it led to one of his proudest moments in his career: winning the Gift of the Gods Championship, which guarantees him a title match for the Lucha Underground Championship, which he plans to win. He goes on to say that he would be dishonoring his ancestors and his mask if he does not fight and win the title, as his tribe, the Eagle Tribe, was the most legendary of all seven Aztec tribes. He wants the name of El Dragon Azteca, Jr. to become part of that legacy. While it is a long way off until Ultima Lucha, he will defend the title against anyone who thinks they can take it from him until then, and he will not back down from any fight. He says the only way he will take off the belt is when he exchanges it for a title shot at the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro, and says that this one is for the fans.

The Mack, Killshot and Son of Havoc retain the Lucha Underground Trios Championships against The Rabbit Tribe (Paul London, Saltador, Mala Suerte), though it is still apparent after the match that Killshot is on less than good terms with The Mack and Son of Havoc.

Before the next match, Cage says that when Antonio Cueto told him he could ;ick his own partner for the next match, he knew he had to be a cold-blooded killer, and that man is King Cuerno. When Pentagon Jr. shows up, he reminds King Cuerno that he is in his temple and that he does not need anyone. He says he can take both men on himself, and tonight, his sacred temple will bear witness to how he will break both of them in half.

Cage and King Cuerno beat Pentagon Jr. in a tag team match turned two-on-one handicap match after Cage dismisses King Cuerno from the match before hitting the Drill Claw for the win. After the match, Cage pulls some steel chairs out from underneath the ring, then lays Pentagon Dark's head on top of one steel chair before smacking another one into the back of his head. After doing this a second time, Cage lifts up the Lucha Underground Championship in one of the corners of the ring.

Somewhere in the desert, Johnny Mundo and Taya find what is supposedly the lair of the Reptile Tribe (Kobra Moon, Drago, Vibora, Daga) in a scene that looks like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. They find the golden throne, but they also find Drago and Vibora. vibora superkicks Taya, and while Johnny Mundo throws a few punches, Vibora catches a punch and headbutts him before putting him in a sleeper hold. Johnny's eyes are about to roll into the back of his head when Taya comes to, grabs a baseball bat and smacks it into the back of Vibora's leg and kicking Vibora in the back of the head. Johnny and Taya kiss before cutting Vibora's head off with a sword.Johnny and Taya leave, then Johnny Mundo tells Drago that they were never hear. Drago roars upon seeing Vibora's decapitated head, and the show ends.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 18, 2018

The debuting Dezmond X - known in Impact Wrestling as Dezmond Xavier - beats Paul London (who is now clad in black) to win one of the seven Aztec medallions.

Antonio Cueto shows up. Nearby is the Gift Of The Gods Championship. He congratulates Dezmond X on becoming the final competitor in next week's Gift Of The Gods Match. He says that he has been a fight promoter for over 40 years, and he cannot remember a match with so many main event caliber stars in the ring. After saying that next week will be epic, he asks the fighters to place their medallions in the Gift Of The Gods title and declare their spot in Lucha Underground spot. El Dragon Azteca Jr., King Cuerno, Ivelisse, Dezmond X, Son of Havoc, The Mack and Mil Muertes all place their medallions into the Gift Of The Gods Championship, then Antonio decides to have some fun. He says that while seven is a lucky number, he considers it to be unlucky and that only six of the competitors will be competing for the Gift Of The Gods Championship. Antonio Cueto then announces an impromptu over-the-top battle royal, with the last person standing earning the ability to choose who is out of the Gift Of The Gods Match.

The Mack beats El Dragon Azteca Jr., King Cuerno, Ivelisse, Dezmond X, Son of Havoc, and Mil Muertes to win an impromptu over-the-top battle royal after Son of Havoc eliminates himself to take out everyone else. After the match, The Mack says taht while he fears no man, Mil Muertes "scares the shit out of [him]" and removes him from the match. To the surprise of nobody, Mil Muertes takes his anger out on everyone else outside of the ring.

Vibora beats Johnny Mundo. During the match, Mundo superkicks referee Justin Borden after a near-fall following a chair shot by "The Darewolf" PJ Black while Taya distracts Borden. Afterwards, Black and Taya wrap a steel chair around Vibora's neck while Mundo readies another one. Drago shows up and hits Mundo with a top rope missile drop kick, then Daga shows up and scares off Taya and PJ Black with a steel chair of his own. Referee Marty Elias takes over officiating duties shortly afterwards. Vibora wins it after choke slamming Johnny Mundo off the top rope onto the center of the mat. After the match, PJ Black and Taya return with steel chairs and attack Kobra Moon and Vibora, but Drago and Daga show up again and strike back, laying out Ricky Mundo (who shows up later in the match to make a save for Johnny Mundo) and starting an all-out brawl.

We see a vignette for XO Lishus that is not unlike a scene from Flashdance. Meanwhile, Jack Evans is watching him from nearby, and Ricky Mundo strikes up a conversation with him by asking what he is doing. Jack tells Ricky and his doll Rosa to mind their own business, and after Jack leaves, Rosa says that she doesn't like Jack. Ricky says he doesn't like him, either. Rosa then orders Ricky to get rid of Jack, but Ricky says that Johnny Mundo would be mad. Rosa then asks Ricky who controls his life: him, or Johnny Mundo.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against Cage. After the match, Cage tries to hit Pentagon Dark with a discus forearm, but Pentagon Dark ducks, hits him with the Lucha Underground title, says the title is his, and nearly breaks Cage's arm only for Cage to get up, pick Pentagon Dark up and slam him face first into the Lucha Underground title. Cage picks up the title, then tells Pentagon Dark that he cannot break his arm for he is a machine.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for June 20, 2018

Catrina teleports into King Cuerno's home and notices the purple shroud covering up the glass casing holding the Gauntlet of the Gods. When she pulls it off, however, she finds that the Gauntlet of the Gods is not there. King Cuerno shows up and says that some trophies are too dangerous to display, and says that the Gauntlet has the power to strike down the descendants of the seven Aztec tribes. Catrina says she needs the gauntlet to get her life force back, but King Cuerno says he gave it to someone for safe keeping and that he does not know where he hid it. He also tells Catrina he does not give a shit whether she gets her life force back or not. Catrina then teleports away.

Before the next match, Famous B tells ring announcer Melissa Santos does not have all the fact and that Texano and Dr. Wagner Jr. are making money for him in Mexico. He then says "infamous Incorporated" is getting a fresh new coat of pain with three new clients. The first one is Big Bad Steve, who he discovered when he took his Cadillac into the shop; the second is Sammy Guevara, one of the hottest young stars in the world; the third is "The Savage" Jake Strong, the hottest free agent in the business and a blue-chipper with a chip on his shoulder. (Jake Strong is former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger, and his sudden appearance causes the crowd to chant "Holy shit!")

The Mack, Killshot and Son of Havoc retain the Lucha Underground Trios Championships against Infamous Incorporated (Big Bad Steve, Sammy Guevara, "The Savage" Jake Strong) when Famous B distracts the referee while Killshot taps to Jake Strong's ankle lock, which gives The Mack, Killshot and Son of Havoc the match. After the match, Strong attacks both Big Bad Steve and Sammy Guevara in frustration despite the protest of Famous B, who ends up getting Biel Tossed before getting put in an ankle lock. Strong then snaps Famous B's ankle before leading a "Strong!" chant.

Antonio Cueto shows up. He says many calls Dario Cueto a genius, but the apple does not fall far from the tree. He talks about the Gift of the Gods Championship, and announces that the process to crown a new Gift of the Gods Champion will start right now with the medallion he is putting on the line right now.

El Dragon Azteca Jr. beats Drago with a victory roll from the top rope to win one of the seven ancient Aztec medallions. After the match, Johnny Mundo shows up and mocks Kobra Moon for Drago's failure, then Taya shows up from behind and beats up Kobra Moon while Johnny Mundo kicks Drago in the groin and hits him with a DDT.

In Antonio Cueto's office, Cueto pulls out the key to Matanza Cueto's cell when Catrina shows up. Catrina says she is stuck between the real world and the spirit realm, and that this will change when he gives her what she desires: Fenix in a coffin. She asks Antonio to make a Grave Consequences Match between Mil Muertes and Fenix for next week, and when Fenix is buried once and for all, his life force will be hers and she will be free. When Antonio sks if this means she will have to knock next time, she says "yes." He tells her to consider it done, then Catrina teleports out of the room when the ceiling light blinks on and off.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against Matanza Cueto. After the match, Pentagon Dark is about to break Matanza's arm when Antonio Cueto shows up, lifting his key up and causing Matanza to power out. He then strikes Matanza with his cane before telling him that Dario Cueto spoiled him and that he is totally useless.

At Antonio Cueto's office, Jeremiah Crane shows up and says he wants to take part in the Grave Consequences between Fenix and Mil Muertes, so he can bury both men and make Catrina realize he is the only man she needs. Antonio makes the Grave Consequences Match the first-ever Three-Way To The Grave Match.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for June 13, 2018

The show - and Season 4 - begins with Dario Cueto's funeral. The agent who shot him and a man with a cane named Antonio are the only people there. Antonio is now in control of Lucha Underground, but since gangs have taken over, the temple in Boyle Heights can no longer be used. Antonio has an area in mind for the new temple, and the audience learns that Dario is his son. Antonio is told by the agent that Lucha Underground is a cover, but Antonio says he will not make Dario's mistakes. We also learned that Dario Cueto called Antonio for help before he died, and that he called for the hit on Dario. The agent then tells Antonio that Matanza Cueto and the rest of the roster is waiting. Antonio sees the key around Dario's neck, and takes it before closing Dario Cueto's casket and leaving.

At the new temple, a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute is held for Dario Cueto. Al of a sudden, Antonio Cueto shows up and gets in the ring. He introduces himself to the fans, then strikes the portrait of Dario and throws it out of the ring before saying the temple is his. He then says that tonight, there will be a new Lucha Underground champion crowned as Pentagon Dark will defend the title tonight in an Aztec Warfare match, which he claims to have invented. He then announces that this match is coming up next.

The Mack and Killshot are in the ring, and are told by Antonio Cueto that the Trios champions will be facing each other in Aztec Warfare. However, Dante Fox is missing in action, and Killshot and The Mack will be entering at #1 and #2, with entrant #3 being their new partner. That new partner is Son of Havoc, who is handed the third Trios title belt, and Antonio Cueto tells the three of them to get to know each other by beating the crap out of each other.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship in Aztec Warfare, last eliminating #20 Marty "The Moth" Martinez. After the match, Pentagon Dark breaks Marty's arm. Antonio Cueto then congratulates Pentagon Dark on his win, then says Dario Cueto would have made him defend against someone else immediately after this match. However, he claims to be a much better promoter, as next week, Pentagon Dark will defend the Lucha Underground Championship against "The Monster" Matanza Cueto in a match much more violent than Aztec Warfare.

During the match:

When Joey Ryan shows up, he handcuffs himself to the top rope. It does not work for him, and he eventually gets removed from his handcuffs before eliminated by Pentagon Dark.

Entrant #6 is the debuting "Mr. Pectacular," formerly known as Jessie Godderz in Impact Wrestling. He is eliminated early in the match by Pentagon Dark.

Tommy Dreamer makes a surprise appearance at #7, and shows up with a garbage can full of weapons that are introduced into the match.

When Vinnie Massaro shows up at #9, he gets a pizza and refuses to pay the pizza delivery guy. This leads to "Hey, we want some pizza!" chants as well as Pentagon Dark shoving a pizza slice in Vinnie's mouth before slamming him into the rest of the pie for the elimination.

Hernandez returns at #10, having not been seen since the first Ultima Lucha. Pentagon Dark breaks his arm before eliminating him as quickly as he showed up.

Ricky Mandel, now known as Ricky Mundo, shows up with an old, destroyed doll as he replaces Angelico at #12 for unknown reasons. Ricky Mundo is distracted by the doll, and Johnny Mundo has to remind him to get his head in the game. Ricky nearly eliminates Johnny with a schoolboy, but Johnny gets rid of him with Moonlight Drive.

Catrina walks out on #15 Mil Muertes when he is eliminated from the match in mere minutes by Fenix.

Daga comes out accompanied by Kobra Moon when he enters at #16. He is eliminated by Johnny Mundo. Some time after, Kobra Moon summons Vibora (who now wears a new mask with eye and mouth holes), who attacks Johnny Mundo. When Marty "The Moth" Martinez shows up, Vibora and Kobra Moon slither away, and Marty pins Johnny Mundo to eliminate him.

Chavo Guerrero, Jr. makes a surprise return at #17. He gets eliminated by Pentagon Dark.

Ultima Lucha Tres - Week 4 Results

El Dragon Azteca Jr. beats Matanza Cueto in a Steel Cage Match after Matanza throws him into the steel cage wall so hard he breaks through and lands at ringside...almost. Dario Cueto restarts the match, saying that El Dragon azteca Jr. cannot escape this match or his destiny. This time, pinfalls and submissions are the only way to win.

Matanza Cueto beats El Dragon Azteca Jr. in a Steel Cage Match where pinfalls and submissions count anywhere. During the match, Black Lotus shows up from out of nowhere. She climbs up the top of the cage and hits El Dragon Azteca Jr. with a cross body from the top of the cage, allowing Matanza Cueto to hit El Dragon Azteca Jr. with Wrath of the Gods. After the match, Black Lotus turns on Matanza, hitting him with a low blow as he celebrates on the second rope before hitting him with a powerbomb, then gets her hands on Dario Cueto. Dario then tells Black Lotus "I'm a liar," then Matanza hits Wrath of the Gods on Black Lotus.

Before the next match, Dario Cueto mentions that ever since he introduced the Gauntlet of the Gods as an ultimate opportunity, it has consumed the three men currently in the ring: Cage, Jeremiah Crane and Mil Muertes. He says the winner will prove worthy of wearing the Gauntlet, but he wants there to be no question about who wears it, as this match will be an elimination match.

Mil Muertes beats Jeremiah Crane and Cage in a three-way match to win the Gauntlet of the Gods. Jeremiah Crane is eliminated after Cage hits him with Weapon X after putting him through two tables that Mil Muertes is lying on with a superplex to the outside. Cage is eliminated after Mil Muertes hits him with a Flatliner on a steel chair introudced by the eliminated Jeremiah Crane. After the match, Dario Cueto comes out with the metal box containing the Gauntlet of the Gods. Catrina pulls it out of the box, and Mil Muertes puts it on. He then pounds the mat with the gauntlet-clad fist, knocking the arena lights out. When the emergency lights come on, a shadowy figure is in the ring, and he attacks Mil Muertes. The figure is none other than King Cuerno, who Mil Muertes put out of action a while back. Afterwards, King Cuerno takes the Gauntlet of the Gods and puts it on.

We see some more video from "The Johnny Mundo Story," directed by Taya. Johnny Mundo says people ask why he is so awesome, and it is because he is Lucha Underground Champion. He says the fans are nothing but losers sitting in the ir mothers' asement wondering why their lives suck while his doesn't. We also see "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Jack Evans and Ricky Mundo sing Johnny Mundo's praises, with Ricky Mundo comparing Johnny to God and Buddha. Johnny Mundo then says he belongs in the main event of Ultima Lucha, as he is done curtain-jerking the rest of the show. We see Dario Cueto say that he cannot wait to see Johnny Mundo fight Prince Puma, then we see Johnny Mundo say that he cannot wait to beat Prince Puma and end his career, as Prince Puma will end his career facing one of the best.

Prince Puma beats Johnny Mundo to become the Lucha Underground Champion for a second time, becoming the first person in Lucha Underground to do so. (Had Prince Puma lost, he would have had to leave the Lucha Underground temple forever.) During the match, Prince Puma inadvertently takes out referee Marty Elias with a kick. This allows Jack Evans and "The Darewolf" PJ Black to interfere, then Taya brings referee Rick Knox into the ring to make the pinfall. Prince Puma kicks out, then referee Rick Knox gets slapped before The Worldwide Underground (Mundo, Taya, Evans, Black) attack him. Taya then brings out steel chairs, and Prince Puma is about to be attacked when Angelico - who has not been seen in Lucha Underground in some time - fights off the entire Worldwide Underground on his own. Rick Knox then tries to hit a tope con hiro on The Worldwide Underground, then Prince Puma takes Johnny Mundo down and hits the 630 for a near-fall. Ricky Mundo gets involved, but Angelico takes him down and Angelico chases the rest of The Worldwide Underground to the back. After the match, Dario Cueto congratulates Prince Puma, saying he has made his hometown and his ancestors proud by keeping his career and becoming a two-time Lucha Underground Champion. However, the night is not over, as there is one more match.

After the commercial break, Dario Cueto says someone came into his office and wanted to challenge the Lucha Underground Champion tonight. Normally, he wants to promote something this big, but rules are like bones as they are made to be broken. Prince Puma's opponent is none other than the current Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Champion, Pentagon Dark. After Pentagon Dark arrives, Dario Cueto announces that not only is the Lucha Underground Championship on the line, but so is both men's careers. One man will leave with the Lucha Underground Championship, while the other will be forced to leave the Lucha Underground temple forever.

Pentagon Dark beats Prince Puma to become the Lucha Underground Champion and end Prince Puma's career. No sooner does the match begin that Pentagon Dark breaks Prince Puma's left arm. Puma grabs some gauze from an EMT and wraps it around the arm to keep fighting. Near the end of the match, Vampiro leaves the commentary table and pulls Pentagon Dark out of the way of Prince Puma's 630 splash, and it takes that and a package piledriver for Pentagon Dark to win the match, win the title, keep his career and end Prince Puma's career in Lucha Underground. After the match, Vampiro celebrates with Pentagon Dark and puts the Lucha Underground Championship around his waist. Pentagon Dark then takes the microphone as Prince Puma leaves, and says he is the new champion and that this is temple, and he will rule it with no fear.

Epilogue

Prince Puma is seen leaving the temple and taking off his mask. He leaves the mask at the entrance of the temple.

The Gauntlet of the Gods is under glass in King Cuerno's home.

Sexy Star is seen posing for fans and signing autographs. A girl brings her a box, and tells her "she hasn't forgotten about you." Inside the box is a spider.

Mascarita Sagrada takes The Rabbit Clan to the White Rabbit.

Fenix leaves the temple with ring announcer Melissa Santos.

Catrina is seen, as is Jeremiah Crane.

Kobra Moon gains a new king in Daga, and still has Dragon chained up as Daga cuts off Pindar's head.

A shadowy figure approaches Vampiro, who says that Prince Puma is gone forever and that Pentagon Dark has reached new heights. The figure then says he will make him fall, and that Vampiro has done well. We then finds out that this is a higher power. Vampiro thanks him.

Matanza Cueto is approached by Rey Mysterio Jr.

Dario Cueto talks to the councilman, who tells Dario he gets a pass because he will be dead. He then proceeds to shot Dario twice, and says new management will take care of the Gauntlet of the Gods and all his other messes. Dario Cueto is left for dead, and he reaches for the telephone to call for help. Dario calls a number and speaks into the receiver, but he can barely say anything before he slumps over in his chair.

The Mack, Killshot and Dante Fox beat The Reptile Tribe (Drago, Pindar, Vibora) to become the Lucha Underground Trios Champions! During the match, Kobra Moon tells Pindar to use the chain that Drago usually wears, but Pindar tells Kobra Moon he wants to do this himself. This is enough of a distraction to allow The Mack to fight back and eventually give his team the win and the Trios titles.

It is announced that next week's episode will be two hours long.

Pentagon Dark beats Son of Havoc in a Ladder Match to win the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Championship!

Prince Puma is at Vampiro's dojo. Vampiro tells Puma that everything comes to an end next week, and that he must not let Johnny Munda take his carrer. Once he wins, the circle will be complete. A demonic-looking Vampiro asks Puma if he undestands. Puma says he does, and leaves. Vampiro then sits where Puma was sitting, and thanks his master.

Melissa says that mask or no mask, he is still Fenix to her. Fenix does not believe that, and says if the mask if taken from him, he will lsoe everything, but Melissa tells Fenix he won't lose her. Melissa then kisses Fenix.

This distracts Texano, and Dante Fox beats Texano with a schoolboy pin. After the match, Texano grabs Famous B from behind, but Dario Cueto tells Texano not to hurt him as he needs a ring announcer. However, he will get a match with Famous B next week. Famous B asks Dario Cueto if he is crazy, as he still has a broken arm. Dario Cueto says that might as well make the match "a handicap match." If Famous B can somehow beat Texano, he will turn Texano's Lucha Underground contract over to Famous B, making Texano his client.

Son of Havoc meets with Dario Cueto in his office, and says he wants to put himself in the main event title match at Ultima Lucha Tres. Dario Cueto gets in a limousine and talks to a man in the back seat. Dario says he has retrieved the gauntlet, but is convinced that Cage really is a machine despite the changes in his behavior caused by the gauntlet. In case Cage is not the man for the job, he has an idea. He says that Jeremiah Crane and Mil Muertes are worthy substitute hosts, and proposes that at Ultima Lucha Tres, there will be a three-way match where the winner gets the gauntlet. Mundo shows up and asks what he will not like. Ricky Mandel says Mundo will love it, and says he has the perfect homage for him: Ricky Mandel's driver's license, which has the name "Ricky Mundo" on it. Mundo tells him to change it, but Ricky says he changed it legally. Mundo tells him to change it back, as there is only one Mundo in The Worldwide Underground. Ricky Mandel takes this as him being made an official member of the group, and hugs him. Mundo then says this is time for more pressing matters, as this is the 100th episode of Lucha Underground. Just like the very first one, he plans to take Prince Puma to Slamtown. Mundo looks at the ID card again and says to himself that he knew it would work.

Before the next match, Ricky Mandel announces that his name is Ricky Mundo as he holds up his new California driver's license. Johnny Mundo makes him sit on the sidelines for the match to make him learn his lesson, and announces that he has a replacement for him: Marty "The Moth" Martinez, whom he calls a good friend of Fenix.

Dario Cueto tells them that the entire locker room is banned from ringside during the Lucha Underground Championship match, including the rest of The Worldwide Underground (Taya, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, PJ Evans, Ricky Mandel), saying that it would be unfair if the rest of The Worldwide Underground would be allowed to be at ringside. Johnny thinks not letting them be at ringside is unfair, but Dario says he does not need them and that he can do it on his own. Johnny Mundo says that if anything causes him to lose the title, he will run off with it, and the next time Dario sees the Lucha Underground Championship will be in another promotion. The agent says that it would be in Dario's best interesting if nothing stood in Mundo's way to becoming the undisputed king of lucha libre.

Cage says he has never took to well to the easy way as he puts the gauntlet on, but Catrina tells him he will hate the hard way even more. Cage swings at her, but she disappears.

Dario Cueto is in his office when Joey Ryan enters. He says that he was pretty embarassed for Joey. Joey, reminding Cueto that he told him to report to him if he saw anything suspicious, tells Dario Cueto that Veneno is really Cortez Castro. Before that happens, however, he asks both Rey and Mundo to come to the ring for last words, as he loves it when his competitors "talk shit to each other." Rey shows up first, followed by Johnny Mundo, who shows up with his own security guards. Johnny says if anybody has any dreams of taking the Lucha Underground title from, he is here to crush them right now just like he crushes everything. He says he has worked harder than he has his entire life just to take Rey to Slamtown next week, and sends his security guards ahead of him into the ring. Mundo says it was good to see Rey's son Dominic, and that he got his size from his mother. He goes on to make fun of Rey's size and says that if Dominic was his kid, he would be worried. He then questions if Rey is Dominic's real dad, and Rey immediately beats up Johnny Mundo. After Mundo gets back in the ring, Mundo's security holds Rey back, but that isn't enough to keep Rey from fighting back. Cueto says he did not like Delgado anyway. Winter says he hopes Cueto likes him, as he will keep an eye on him and the temple, and says he loves what Cueto is doing with the temple. The White Rabbit Clan (Paul London, Mala Suerte, Saltador) are playing checkers - on top of Saltador, of course - until Mascarita Sagrada shows up with a gift box. They bow down as they ask for his forgiveness for failing him, and Mascarita Sagrada gives them the gift and reads. The card on it reads "Hope this brings you better luck," and inside the box is a lucky rabbit's foot. The three of them scream in delight.

Pentagon Dark beats Drago to continue to the quarter-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament, where he will face Texano. After the match, Kobra Moon tries to stop Pentagon Dark from breaking Drago's arm only to get superkicked. Aerostar shows up and saves Drago, then asks Drago to come back to him and Fenix only for Drago to turn on him. Pentagon sees that Aerostar is down, and breaks his arm instead.

Pentagon Dark meets Catrina in the temple. Catrina says that once upon a time, Pentagon Dark took something from Mil Muertes: his life. She says that she and Mil Muertes never forget a debt. Pentagon Dark says he has no fear, but Catrina teleports behind him and says it would be lucky if Pentagon Dark advanced in the Cueto Cup and faced Mil Muertes, who will not only end his shot at the Cueto Cup, but also Pentagon Dark himself. Catrina then disappears.

Rey Mysterio Jr. beats "The Darewolf" PJ Black. During the match, Rey accidentally boots referee Marty Elias in the face during a Tornado DDT. After this, Johnny Mundo shows up and attacks Rey before helping Black up so they can gang up on Rey along with Jack Evans, who also shows up. El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up and fights off the three of them, but he is tripped up and dragged out of the ring by Taya before Evans revives the ref and Mundo plays Black on top of Rey, who kicks out at the last second, much to the surprise of Black's buddies, who are chased to the back by El Dragon Azteca Jr., who now has a steel chair in his hands. Black goes for a Razor's Edge, but Rey reverses it into a 619 for the win. After the match, Rey grabs the microphone and tells Black this does not concern him and that this is more about Johnny Mundo. Rey tells Mundo he knows he can hear him, and tells him he won't be able to run his entire life, and that there will be a time where he gets tired of running, and it will be in four weeks. In four weeks, he will see him back in the ring in front of his people, because he and his people will make history because he will become Lucha Underground Champion. He tells Johnny not to worry, because he will not leave him empty-handed, as he will be leaving with a 619.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for June 14, 2017

As Dario Cueto sets up the brackets for the Cueto Cup in his office, Pentagon Dark shows up. He is all healed up, and wants to know where Black Lotus. Cueto says she has went back to Hong Kong and he hasn't seen her in months. Pentagon Dark says he might as well break Cueto's arm next. Cueto says that would not be wise, but Pentagon Dark tries to break it anyway. Cueto saves himself by telling Pentagon Dark he is putting him in the Cueto Cup where the winner gets a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship. Pentagon Dark says he will win the tournament and go on to Ultima Lucha Tres to become champion. If he loses at Ultima Lucha, however, Cueto will be leaving with broken bones.

The Mack beats Mala Suerte to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup.

In the locker room, Cage is lifting weights with the new glove Dario Cueto gave him in his right hand. Cueto shows up, saying he is enjoying the fruits of his labor. He says that a high-ranking politician and city councilman, Lawrence Delgado, has invited him to his office later tonight, and Cueto asks that he be acquainted with him as he gives him his address, telling him that Delgado is expecting him.

Pentagon Dark beats Argenis to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup, then breaks Argenis' arm after the match.

Before the next match, Famous B kicks ring announcer Melissa Santos out of the ring, and says he has a stable and all he needs is a thoroughbred. He tells Texano that instead of fighting him, he wants to represent him, and that all he has to do is pin him. Famous B lays down for him, but Texano lets go of the pinfall and hits him with a sit-out powerbomb to win. Texano beats Famous B to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup.

We see a video package of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Johnny Mundo training for their upcoming Lucha Underground Championship match.

Drago beats Argenis to continue to the second round of the Cueto Cup. After the match, Kobra Moon commands Drago to kill Argenis, and Drago lays Argenis out in the middle of the ring before Kobra Moon chains Drago up again.

Cage meets with city councilman Lawrence Delgado at the address provided to him by Dario Cueto, his right hand still in the gauntlet as he enters Boyle Heights City Hall. Delgado says that if Cage cannot remove the gauntlet, then that means the gauntlet is working and that their work will finally begin. Cage does not like the thought of working for a city councilman, and tells Delgado he does not work for him. Delgado says he will, and that the days of working out and drinking protein shakes will be in the past as his life will finally have purpose. Cage grabs Delgado with the gloved hand, forces him up against a wall, then lets him go and says "Sorry, man...I don't know what came over me." We see that the wall behind Delgado now has a hole in it, and Delgado tells him "That's okay...you're still thinking like a man." Cage then punches Delgado in the face so hard that his entire head explodes. Cage then says he is not a man...he is a machine. Cage then stomps on one of Delgado's eyes, now forcibly removed from the man's skull and now on the floor, as he leaves.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for November 30, 2016

Pentagon Dark runs into Vampiro in the locker room. Vampiro tells Pentagon Dark that even if he makes it out tonight alive, there will still be hell to pay, and just because he is not his master anymore, doesn't mean he's forgotten. Pentagon Dark doesn't care, saying he has no fear.

We find out that Black Lotus' associates from Aztec Warfare III are Doku, Yurei and Hitokiri, and that they are the three other women that Pentagon Dark must face.

Pentagon Dark beats Doku by referee stoppage after breaking her arm.

Jeremiah Crane is in the locker room when he is confronted by Catrina, who says it's a shame what happened to Ivelisse. She says Crane is the one who brought her here, and she didn't think he would return. She asks if he is happy to see her again, and says that he is in love with her and not Ivelisse, as he is wearing a piece of the stone. Catrina tells Crane she is in love with someone else, then tells him she'll see him around.

In the ring, Pentagon Dark says it doesn't matter how many members of the Black Lotus Triad there are, as he will break all of their arms and break them in two.

Pentagon Dark beats Yurei by referee stoppage after breaking her arm.

Outside of the temple, Dario Cueto tells Matanza Cueto that he will win his take the Lucha Underground title back. Matanza says no, saying he wants Rey Mysterio, Jr. A question mark is red blood, made from Matanza punching the wall with his fasts, is seen in the back of Matanza's cell. A shocked Dario leaves.

In a twist of fate that involves a leap off the top of Dario's office onto Pentagon Dark outside of the ring, Hitokiri beats Pentagon Dark.

Black Lotus kicks referee Marty Elias before stomping Pentagon Dark. She then breaks Pentagon Dark's arm in revenge, then El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up and stares her down. Black Lotus leaves with the rest of the Triad as El Dragon Azteca Jr. stands in the ring with an injured Pentagon Dark. He then stands on Pentagon Dark's injured arm, and breaks his other arm, saying "This is my vengeance."

Prince Puma sees a demonic Vampiro in his nightmares. All he hears is the words "Come with me."

Mascarita Sagrada and Son of Havoc show up for their match on a motorcycle, with Masacarita Sagrada riding in a sidecar.

Dr. Wagner Jr. and Famous B - the latter of whom has never won a match and has not wrestled since Season 1 - beat Mascarita Sagrada and Son of Havoc, giving Famous B his first win in the Temple.

The Rabbit Clan will be here soon...

Next week, another luchador will take on Matanza Cueto for the Lucha Underground Championship courtesy of Dario Cueto's Dial of Doom! Also, Prince Puma takes on Mil Muertes in an Ultima Lucha rematch!

Before the next match, Jack Evans gives Sexy Star a fair warning: this will be her last match ever as he will not be just the Dragonslayer, but the Star Destroyer. Sexy Star slaps Jack Evans, starting the match.

Sexy Star retains the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Championship against Jack Evans after The Super Friends (Fenix, Drago, Aerostar) put a stop to the distractions and interference of The Worldwide Underground (PJ Black and Johnny Mundo).

Dario Cueto puts Chavo Guerrero in the match against Pentagon Dark, but Rey Mysterio Jr. shows up and reveals that Chavo attacked El Dragon Azteca Jr. and sent him to the hospital. Rey and Chavo's twenty-five year friendship is referenced, with Chavo being surprised that Rey would "accuse" him of attacking El Dragon Azteca Jr. and Rey saying that he has gotten used to Chavo's handiwork. Chavo and Rey fight in front of Dario Cueto, much to Dario's amusement, and puts both of them in the main event against Pentagon Dark, making the match a three-way dance, and says that with any luck, someone else will join El Dragon Azteca Jr. in the hospital tonight.

Dario Cueto announces to the temple that tonight's main event is a three-way match, and makes ring announcer Melissa Santos aware of the last-minute changes.

Pentagon Dark beats Rey Mysterio Jr. and Chavo Guerrero Jr. in a three-way dance. Pentagon Dark then proceeds to break Rey's arm after the match, but Rey fights back until Chavo stops him with a shoulder block. Chavo then attacks Rey with a steel chair, smashing it into his knee as Rey is placed in the tree of woe position. Referee Marty Elias tries to stop Chavo, but Chavo hits him with the steel chair as well.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
