We see Chris Island be the first person to enter the WWE Performance Center to work out at 6:15 in the morning. He talks about his time in NXT and everything that he had to go through to get to this point, as well as being the first one in and the last to leave, and when asked who Chris Island, Chris says "The hardest worker ever known."
Matt Bloom meets with Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano, and Booker T for this week. Johnny Gargano gets to work with Jaime Garcia - who has a lot of bad habits out of the independent scene - and Chris Island. (Jaime Garcia later gets a name change to Romeo Moreno.) Kevin Owens gets Nathan Cranton and Mike DeRudder. Matt Bloom mentions that DeRudder has a bit of a. Booker T gets Nikkita Lyons - who asked for Booker T this week - and Zena Sterling, who Matt Bloom feels needs a different voice. Booker T tells Matt Bloom to give him 60 minutes.
We hear from Jaime Garcia, who started out in soccer, but ended up becoming a professional wrestler, and instead of learning English, he went to wrestling school. Jaime wants to pick Gargano's brain and ask a lot of questions, due to working with someone who has excelled at something he wants to excel at. Johnny Gargano thinks that Chris Island has something special and wants him to be himself, and also notes that being one's self sometimes gets lost in the shuffle.
Chris Island beats Jaime Garcia. After the match, Chris Island says that the match felt great, and that whatever happens, happens. Jaime Garcia gets some advice from Johnny Gargano on how to fight from underneath. Matt Bloom tells Chris Island that the man he saw out of him is much better than what he saw in the last match, and tells Garcia not to pander for the people before making the cover.
Nathan Cranton and Mike DeRudder look forward to working with each other. Kevin Owens says that Cranton reminds him of Triple H's blueblood gimmick as he helps Cranton out on becoming more vicious and underhanded.
Mike DeRudder beats Nathan Cranton. Kevin Owens says that while both men are great, he did not feel a whole lot of emotion behind their match. Matt Bloom reminds them that they are "a TV company," and that their faces should be seen on camera while across from the hard cam.
Booker T meets with Nikkita Lyons and Zena Sterling. Booker wants Zena not to act like a wrestler, but to be the wrestler, and not to act, but to react. Zena notes how Booker T perceives certain things in wrestling and notes that Booker can give her pointers that Bubba Ray Dudley may not be able to give her, and says that when Booker T put the finishing touches on their match, things made more sense.
Nikkita Lyons beats Zena Sterling. Booker T likes what he sees throughout the match, but says that Zena's punches could have been better. Zena asks about emotion, and Booker T says that her emotion was "damn near spot on." Zena is glad to have done something different in the ring for the first time, then says she feels more confident and that there is nowhere to go but upwards.

Rex Lawless and Pat Buck beat The Backseat Boyz (JP and Tommy Grayson).
Backstage, Jake Redondo is interrupted by Brett Ryan Gosselin and "D-Man" Dan Parker. Redondo is not in the mood for their arguing, and tells them to kick rocks. They leave, then Redondo says he has been working for over a year and that he has the lottery ticket one does not have to scratch to know that he is a winner.
Sebastian Amor vs. Dan Joseph ends in a double count-out after both men beat each other up on the outside when Sebastian Amor ducks a clothesline and Dan Joseph inadvertently knocks Nat Castle off the ring apron.
Fred Rosser vs. Jordan Cruz for the UWN World Championship from April's Sunday Night Slam is replayed.
Backstage, Javi plans to keep going after his team lost the Five Boroughs Classic. Nick Dos Santos shows up and says that he can beat anybody in the ring before challenging him to a match next week.

Backstage, we hear from Fidel Bravo, who says that he has Vinny Pacifico tonight and that he has seen his dirty work. Pacifico shows up and says that while Bravo is good in the ring, he has a challenge against the biggest challenge in Championship Wrestling, and brags that he is taller than Bravo. Bravo says that he has been known for a long time in Championship Wrestling and that he will prove he is "the real short king."
Backstage, Rob McKnight takes a leak, then turns around and says he is excited for Vinny Pacifico in his match tonight before smelling the energy drink can in his hand, implying that he has urinated in it.
Fidel Bravo beats Vinny Pacifico. During the match, Rob McKnight shows up and replaces Vinny Pacifico's can of energy drink with the one that he has compromised, and when Pacifico takes it to the ring and drinks it, he spits it out and realizes what has happened. Fidel Bravo then hits a spinning Falcon Arrow for the win.
"The Anomaly" Alex Ace beats The Epic by disqualification after The Epic shoves the referee away following a five-count in the corner, even after Alex Ace did the same thing just moments earlier. After the match, Alex Ace and The Epic brawl to the point that multiple referees have to get involved, and when Jordan Cruz tells The Epic to get back in the ring and take out Alex Ace, The Epic sends Cruz into the ring instead. Alex Ace soon grabs Jordan Cruz by the neck and choke slams him out of his shoes to end the show. (Christian Rosenberg, Alex Ace's manager, is now known as "The Conscience.")

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 14, 2025
In backstage footage from earlier today, we see "The Problem" Aaron Roberts attacking and threatening Marko "Hangtime" Harris as officials and security try to restore order. It takes Justin Case to calm Aaron Roberts down.
Matchmaker King Cobra suddenly shows up. He gets the show started with a match and says that he will have an update on today's main event.
We see footage of Jazz coaching at the WrestleCenter.
CJ Blaine, Kale and "Main Event" Bradley beat "The Gift" Ray Sanders, The Shocker and CJ Money in a six-man tag match to face each other in a Triple Threat Match to decide the inaugural Junior Heritage Champion next week. This happens after Bradley drives Kale head-first into the mat before getting the pin and the win for his team.
Dustin Starr has an unscheduled interview with Marko "Hangtime" Harris at the announce desk. Marko says that if Aaron Roberts is "The Problem," then he is "the solution," and demands that Matchmaker King Cobra make their match official.
As Makkari Kandy fills up her candy bowl, Wonderboy shows up and congratulates her on her recent victory before the two of them hug. When Wonderboy leaves, J. Webb shows up and shakes his head.
Tim Bosby beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox by submission with the ankle lock.
Sycho Simon is interviewed backstage. Simon grabs the microphone and says that the rules are out the window, because when he beat "The GunShow" Brett Michaels for the Heritage title, he makes the rules.
Dustin Starr interviews The Bizzness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) at the announce desk. Tim Grind warns The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) that they are coming for them and that they accepted their challenge a long time ago. Lil' Homie says that before he and Tim Grind take care of business with The L.A. Hustlers, Xya Wolfe will take care of business in the ring right now.
Nixi XS beats Xya Wolfe with a DDT to send a message to Diana Taylor. During the match, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) attack Tim Grind and Lil' Homie at ringside, and their brawl goes to the back. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Nixi XS at the announce desk. Nixi says that Diana Taylor is crying in pain and says that she warned her, and says it is Diana's fault if she cannot show up to defend her title just like she defends hers. Nixi says that until Diana can meet her eye-to-eye and face-to-face in the ring, she will never be the real Memphis Women's Champion.
"The Gift" Ray Sanders meets with The Shocker at the snack bar, then The Shocker leaves and Ray Sandersis met by Oso and Vashawn Harvey. Oso says Vashawn will be the Junior Heritage Champion, then wishes Ray Sanders luck as they both leave.

Backstage, Arkady Aura interviews Harley Cameron, who says that Saraya is not here out of protest of everyone declaring for the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and that Saraya should be the only one declaring anything as she was Women's World Champion at All In last year.
We see a video package for Thunder Rosa vs. "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo in a no-disqualification match tomorrow night on Collision.
Cage of Agony ("The Machine" Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) beat Solomon Tupu, Jay Marston and Kevin Gutierrez in a trios match.
Shota Umino beats Rocky "Azucar" Romero.
Satnam Singh beats Rosario Grillo with a bear hug. After the match, Jay Lethal says Satnam Singh is on a roll and that he is ready to beat his opponent tonight and hopefully do it faster than Satnam. He then finds out that his opponent is PAC.

Against All Odds 2024 - The Results
Sami Callihan beats Jonathan Gresham on the countdown after KUSHIDA shows up for the first time in weeks and swabs a bunch of black ink out of Gresham's ink with a rag in one hand while carrying a vial in the other.
Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). Alisha says they will start off hot and that she and Masha Slamovich will walk out tonight as Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Eddie says "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth have wanted this, but their dream of wrestling The System for tag team gold will turn into a nightmare very quickly. Myers says Nic and Ryan will find out that The System never fails, and that they can always trust The System. Moose says "Broken" Matt Hardy has done a lot of talking and that his family has embarrassed and humiliated his, and when all is said and done, Matt Hardy will learn to "trust the goddamn System."
Alisha Edwards and Masha Slamovich retain the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships against The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle) on the countdown.
Mike Santana and Steve Maclin beat The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz). Both men shake hands after the match.
Backstage, we hear from "Broken" Matt Hardy, who says that tonight is the night that he becomes TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and that he will make The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) obsolete when he breaks Moose and deletes his championship reign under "Broken Rules," which means that there are no rules. He says Moose may think he has the advantage, but he has broken brilliance, and tonight will end with him holding the World Heavyweight Championship.
Before the next match, AJ Francis calls Chicago, Illinois "the worst city in the United States," then says he hates Chicago while wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey by clarifying that it is a Scottie Pippen jersey and that "Michael Jordan didn't win anything until Scotty Pippen showed up." He also says that TNA never reached its full potential until it became "TNAJ Francis."
PCO beats Rich Swann despite the attempted interference by AJ Francis. After the match, Steph de Lander shows up and says she has made PCO wait long enough, and that she will go on a date with him.
The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth. Early on in the match, Dirty Dango shows up and gets Alisha Edwards ejected from ringside for getting involved in the match. Later on in the amtch, the referee gets pulled out of the pinfall during a pinfall attempt by Ryan Nemeth, and as the referee cannot tell who did it between Moose and Dango, Nic Nemeth takes out Moose, and Dirty Dango takes a shot at Nemeth from the outside of the ring, allowing Eddie to hit the Boston Knee Party for the win. After the match, Dango celebrates briefly with The System (Eddie, Alisha, Myers, Moose).
Backstage, Gia Miller interviews ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey). Austin says that they do not play the luck game and that they make their own luck. He says that tonight is what is important, as they swing the momentum back in their favor and focus on the tag team title shot that they still have in the tank. Chris Bey says it has been two years since they first teamed up, and that tonight is where it all begins again.
Before the next match, Joe Hendry says there was speculation as to where he would be tonight, but he chose to be here in Chicago, Illinois and here in TNA. He says that he is facing a TNA legend in Frankie Kazarian tonight, then asks Kazarian if anyone has noticed his resemblance to Antonio Banderas, as he has had a classic like Desperado but has held on a little too long. He says there comes a time when Kazarian must ask himself if he is really "The King of TNA" or the dad from Spy Kids. This leads to a "Dad from Spy Kids" chant. He then then says it is more about what one sounds like than what one looks like, and it sounds like the fans believe in Joe Hendry.
Frankie Kazarian beats Joe Hendry after poking Hendry in the eye as Hendry goes for a belly-to-back suplex at the ring apron. After the match, Kazarian continues to attack Hendry and puts him in the crossface chickenwing, then Ace Steel shows up and confronts Kazarian and tells him to leave Hendry alone. Kazarian shoves Steel as soon as Steel turns his back, and Steel responds by punching Kazarian in the face.
Before the next match, Trent Seven says they may be in Mustafa Ali's hometown, the Chicago, Illinois crowd will want to see something. He mentions Tom Hannifan's interview with Ali, and reveals that the cameras kept rolling after the interview was over. We see footage of Mustafa Ali chewing out his security force before chewing out Campaign Singh, saying he does not live in Chicago and would not raise his family in such "a crime-ridden hellhole." When Singh asks Mustafa asks if he wants his title, Mustafa calls the X Division Championship "a piece of shit" and "a prop that means nothing" before leaving the room.
Mustafa Ali retains the TNA X Division Championship against Trent Seven with the Sharpshooter after raking Seven's eyes, tripping him off the top rope and hitting the top rope 450 splash to his legs before making him tap out to the Sharpshooter.
Backstage, Frankie Kazarian says that he is setting himself on the path to the World Championship, yet Ace Steel had the audacity to put his hands on him. Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up, and after Kazarian says that he wants Ace Steele in a match but that Steele would probably use a weapon, Santino makes the match official and makes it a Chicago Street Fight.
ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) beat "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and Eric Young after Young inadvertently punches Alexander in the face as Chris Bey goes for The Art of Finesse.
Jordynne Grace's open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship is answered by Tatum Paxley from NXT. Before the match can occur, Ash by Elegance's personal concierge George Iceman says that Jordynne attacked and assaulted Ash by Elegance. He says that they have talked to their lawyers and have decided out of the goodness of their hearts not to prosecute and press charges, then says they will keep their distance from Jordynne as she is "violent and unpredictable" before introducing Ash by Elegance. Ash shows up, and she and her personal concierge watch from the entrance tunnel while drinking champagne.
Jordynne Grace retains the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Tatum Paxley. After the match, Ash by Elegance gets in the ring and punches Jordynne in the back of her left knee with her jeweled knuckles. Jordynne counters with a spinebuster before throwing Ash out of the ring, and Ashc omplains that her back has been injured. At ths point, Jordynne has Ash's jeweled knuckles, and after throwing them at personal concierge George Iceman, Jordynne pours a bottle of champagne on Ash's face and blinds her before drinking some of the champagne.

Moose retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against "Broken" Matt Hardy in a Broken Rules Match. At the beginning of the match, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers are taken out of the match by "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth, who show up and brawl with Eddie and Myers, taking their brawl to the back in the process. Later on in the match, Alisha Edwards hits Matt Hardy with a shinai, and Reby Sky shows up and fights Alisha, hitting her with a Twist of Fate. Shortly after this, Moose throws Reby into Matt's path as he tries to Spear Moose through a table, then Moose hits a Spear of his own to win and retain. After the match, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) attack Matt and Reby, then Nic and Ryan Nemeth show up again to make the save only to be overpowered. Joe Hendry shows up and fights Moose only to be taken out as well, then Jeff Hardy - fresh out of AEW - shows up with a chair and swings away at The System, hitting Moose with a Twist of Fate before Matt does the same. Jeff then hits Moose with a Swanton Bomb to end the show.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Sarah Schreiber interviews Kendal Grey, who says it is a wonderful opportunity to step into the ring with someone as talented and fierce as Izzi Dame. She says she is still finding her groove, but she is evolving and adapting and that it is time to step into "the Kendal Grey area."
Kendal Grey gets an upset victory on Izzi Dame. After the match, Izzi Dame attacks Kendal Grey, and Carlee Bright soon shows up and hits a double drop kick along with Kendal to knock Izzi out of the ring.

Before the next match, Chelsea Green tells the fans that they are lucky, because they get to see tonight's crushing defeat of Naomi at her hands before Piper Niven crushes Bayley to become WWE Women's Champion tomorrow at Clash at the Castle.
Naomi beats Chelsea Green after Bayley confronts Piper Niven on the outside after stopping Chelsea from using the ropes for leverage on a pinfall attempt, and this allows Naomi to counter the Un-Pretty-Her with a Backstabber followed by a bridge pin for the win.
Backstage, Baron Corbin thanks General Manager Nick Aldis for giving him a fresh start on SmackDown when Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, Berto, Elektra Lopez) show up. Corbin leaves, and Aldis tells Legado del Fantasma that they have been fined for their attack on Apollo Crews and that next time, a fine will be the least of their worries. Santos Escobar is not worried, and upon finding out that Apollo is cleared to compete, he tells Aldis to tell Apollo that he is facing him.
We see a video package for Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
It's time for The Grayson Waller Effect. At the start of the show, another QR code and a message stating "The Reckoning Is Inevitable" is shown. Tonight's guests are #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa). After Grayson Waller tells Johnny Gargano that he would take a bullet for Austin Theory like he did last week, Gargano says he has footage, which Grayson does not want shown as it is because Grayson used Theory as a shield. Grayson says that was AI and not real footage and that Gargano did not show him beating Gargano. Ciampa says he loves not only Grayson's fake confidence, but having a fight for the WWE Tag Team Championships tonight. Grayson says he and Theory will not defend their titles in a place like Glasgow, Scotland and that attempts to drive a wedge between himself and Theory will not work, but Gargano says that they are coming for their championships. Gargano then says he is tired of hearing from Grayson and that he wants to hear from Theory, as they go way back and he has always believed in him. He says he respects what Theory has done on his own, then tells Grayson that he is using him. Theory shoves Gargano to the mat, starting a brawl that ends in Grayson using Theory as a shield again before the set dressing gets destroyed.
Backstage, Kevin Owens is met by The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and B-Fab, and The Street Profits mention their history together and common distaste for The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa). B-Fab tells Owens that they have his back against Solo Sikoa tonight.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. Cody says that he thought "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles was going to retire until he tricked him, then says that AJ is starting to become "that guy." As he says that Styles is bent on making him say he quits, The O.C. (Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) shows up. Styles is surprised by how easy it was to get Cody Rhodes worked up, then Cody asks Styles why he is so far away when they could be having a conversation, man-to-man, in the ring. Styles gets in the ring as the Glasgow, Scotland keeps loudly chanting for Cody and tells Cody that they are nothing alike and that it took him seventeen years to get to where he is in WWE. He says that while Cody was welcomed with open arms, he quit when the going got rough, and that Cody also quit New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling because he could not handle the pressure, for "when the going gets tough, Cody Rhodes gets going." Cody says he walked away from all of those companies because he has never been afraid to leave and chase something greater, and that he has always bet on himself as being something more and that he was right. He says that if he did quit, he would not be standing in the ring as Undisputed WWE Champion, and if anyone quit, it was Styles, as he had to be "Mark Henry for a night" to get another title shot. After Cody says that he will make Styles say "I quit," Styles questions now naturally Cody says "I quit," as he cannot quit being phenomenal, and that he is done when he says he is done. He knows that Cody did not quit in his Hell In A Cell Match against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, but he will be in the ring with him tomorrow and not Seth Rollins, and he will do whatever it takes to become WWE Champion, including tearing him to a pulp to the point that saying "I Quit" will be a gift to Cody.

The Street Profits are soon attacked by The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa) for getting involved in their business, and officials have to break up the brawl. Kevin Owens soon shows up to get his hands on Solo Sikoa, and General Manager Nick Aldis has to hold him back.

Knight that he did not "cook" Logan Paul like he thought he did, and that the difference between himself and Knight is that opportunities chase him. He says that this is why he already has an opportunity to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match so he does not have to beg for one, and when he wins, he will be one step closer to being "Melo In The Bank."

Solo Sikoa beats Kevin Owens after Paul Heyman puts Solo's foot on the bottom rope during a pinfall attempt, which causes Owens to go after Heyman only for Solo to hit the Samoan Spike twice for the win. After the match, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa show up and attack Owens. As Solo is about to hit Owens with the Samoan Spike again, Randy Orton shows up and takes out Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, then gets the upper hand on Solo Sikoa. Tama Tonga gets hit with an RKO, which allows Solo Sikoa to escape.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for June 14, 2023
Adam Cole vs. MJF in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match ends in a 30-minute time limit draw just before Adam Cole can win despite MJF's attempts at cheating. After the match, Adam Cole says "Five...more...minutes," but MJF slinks away with the AEW World Championship.
We see a video package of CM Punk getting ready for his AEW return on the first episode of AEW Collision. CM Punk says he has scores to settle and things still left to do, and at Collision, he will not know what he will do or say until the microphone is in his hand.
Renee Paquette interviews Sammy Guevara in the ring in Guevara's first appearance on AEW programming since Double or Nothing. Guevara says the last couple of months have been "a hell of a ride" with the highest of highs with the upcoming arrival of a baby daughter and the lowest of lows with coming up short with the AEW World Championship. He says that Tay Melo will be at his side, while his baby daughter will be in one arm and the AEW World Championship in the other. As he says that he will have to make some changes in AEW, Darby Allin shows up. Darby congratulates Guevara sincerely regarding his baby daughter, then mentions that the fans are starting to love Guevara again, then asks him if he will stand on his own two feet or in the shadow of the Jericho Appreciation Society. After mentioning that he and Sting are equals, he tells Guevara that he does not have to answer right away, even though he already knows the answer. All of a sudden, Chris Jericho shows up. Jericho tells Darby to shut his mouth and mind his business, then tells Guevara that he never called him once or asked him for help as he chased the AEW Championship, and that if he did, he would be AEW World Champion. Guevara asks Jericho why he didn't call him, saying that if he did, he would not have lost to Adam Cole twice. Jericho says Guevara is having "delusions of grandeur" for being in the main event spotlight, and demands he apologize right now. Guevara tells Jericho "I'm not apologizing for shit!" Jericho tells Guevara to remember the dynamic and the hierarchy in The Jericho Appreciation Society, and that they will have to tag up next week to show who the boss really is. Darby tells Jericho that he may be a wizard, but when he steps in the ring, the magic is gone. Jericho takes this as a challenge and an invitation for him and Guevara to jump him right now, but Darby says he is not really alone before Sting arrives. Sting and Jericho stare down in the middle of the ring, then Jericho presses his bat against Sting's neck. Sting pushes the bat down before doing the same to Jericho. Jericho pulls his bat away and smacks Sting's bat away, then Sting smacks the bat out of Jericho's hand with his own. Jericho then leaves.
We hear from SANADA, who announces that there will be an open challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door and that he is waiting for AEW's reply.
Darby Allin, Sting, "Limitless" Keith Lee and Orange Cassidy beat The Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, "The Machine" Brian Cage) in an eight-man tag match.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn). Austin denies any relationship with Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson), but admits he and Colten Gunn have had their eyes on The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Austin says they have run their course and are "over the hill," and that they are challenging The Hardys to a tag team match next week to prove they are the best brother tag team in AEW.
Wardlow retains the TNT Championship against Jake Hager. After the match, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus are seen on the video screen. After some audio issues, Christian Cage accepts Wardlow's challenge, and asks Wardlow what will happen when his "new daddy" is not here to save him when it is revealed that Arn Anderson's has been beaten and bloodied. Wardlow runs to the back.
We hear from Hiroshi Tanahashi, who says that the AEW World Championship will not shine like it should as long as he holds the AEW World Championship. He says he came close to becoming champion against Moxley last year at Forbidden Door, and announces that he will face MJF for the title this year. Afterwards, Renee Paquette interviews MJF regarding Tanahashi's challenge, stating that he does not feel like giving a title shot to "some rando from a rinky-dink indy fed from Japan."
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy says somebody is going to challenge him for the AEW International Championship right now, and Zack Sabre Jr. shows up and mentions Orange Cassidy recently mentioning him and entertaining the idea of being double champion. Daniel Garcia shows up and tells Zack that he does not even work here, then wants a shot at the title before asking where Katsuyori Shibata is. Orange says Shibata is not here, but he will be here next week, and challenges Garcia and Zack to a tag team match. After Orange leaves, Zack Sabre Jr. gets irritated with Daniel Garcia.
Toni Storm retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Skye Blue after spray painting Skye Blue's mom in the face and despite Skye thwarting Ruby Soho's interference by spray painting Toni in the face behind the referee's back. After the match, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho attack Skye Blue until Willow Nightingale runs out and chases them out of the ring.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Hook. Jungle Boy says "the summer of JungleHook" is in full swing, then admits that he feels naked without a title next to Hook and that he will accept SANADA's open challenge. He then says it would be an honor if Hook were to be in his corner at Forbidden Door. Hook and Jungle Boy fist bump.

We see a vignette for Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson) and Samoa Joe vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. CM Punk on Collision.
The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, "Hangman" Adam Page) beat The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta) in a trios match. After the match, The Blackpool Combat Club attack The Elite, then Eddie Kingston returns to AEW for the first time in months and fights Claudio Castagnoli. When Wheeler Yuta gets involved, Eddie clocks him. Eddie then gets the upper hand again and clotheslines Claudio out of the ring, and when Jon Moxley confronts Eddie, Matt Jackson attacks Moxley. Eddie tells Matt that he wants a piece of him, then Konosuke Takeshita shows up and attacks Eddie from behind. Shortly afterwards, Kenny Omega shows up. Omega and Takeshita brawl in the ring , then he and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) take out Takeshita as well as anyone else who gets in the ring. Omega soon goes for the V-Trigger, but after he hits Konosuke Takeshita with it, Will Ospreay suddenly shows up and superkicks Omega before laying him out. Ospreay then picks Omega back up and hits him with the Storm Breaker. Don Callis is seen clapping for Ospreay on the ramp, and Bryan Danielson claps for Ospreay soon afterwards. It is then announces that Ospreay will be wrestling on this week's Rampage before Ospreay attacks Omega one last time.

Jericho tells Guevara to remember the dynamic and the hierarchy in The Jericho Appreciation Society, and that they will have to tag up next week to show who the boss really is. Darby tells Jericho that he may be a wizard, but when he steps in the ring, the magic is gone. Jericho takes this as a challenge and an invitation for him and Guevara to jump him right now, but Darby says he is not really alone before Sting arrives. Sting and Jericho stare down in the middle of the ring, then Jericho presses his bat against Sting's neck. Sting pushes the bat down before doing the same to Jericho. Jericho pulls his bat away and smacks Sting's bat away, then Sting smacks the bat out of Jericho's hand with his own. Jericho then leaves.
We hear from SANADA, who announces that there will be an open challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door and that he is waiting for AEW's reply.
Darby Allin, Sting, "Limitless" Keith Lee and Orange Cassidy beat The Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, "The Machine" Brian Cage) in an eight-man tag match.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn). Austin denies any relationship with Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson), but admits he and Colten Gunn have had their eyes on The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Austin says they have run their course and are "over the hill," and that they are challenging The Hardys to a tag team match next week to prove they are the best brother tag team in AEW.
Wardlow retains the TNT Championship against Jake Hager. After the match, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus are seen on the video screen. After some audio issues, Christian Cage accepts Wardlow's challenge, and asks Wardlow what will happen when his "new daddy" is not here to save him when it is revealed that Arn Anderson's has been beaten and bloodied. Wardlow runs to the back.
We hear from Hiroshi Tanahashi, who says that the AEW World Championship will not shine like it should as long as he holds the AEW World Championship. He says he came close to becoming champion against Moxley last year at Forbidden Door, and announces that he will face MJF for the title this year. Afterwards, Renee Paquette interviews MJF regarding Tanahashi's challenge, stating that he does not feel like giving a title shot to "some rando from a rinky-dink indy fed from Japan."
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy says somebody is going to challenge him for the AEW International Championship right now, and Zack Sabre Jr. shows up and mentions Orange Cassidy recently mentioning him and entertaining the idea of being double champion. Daniel Garcia shows up and tells Zack that he does not even work here, then wants a shot at the title before asking where Katsuyori Shibata is. Orange says Shibata is not here, but he will be here next week, and challenges Garcia and Zack to a tag team match. After Orange leaves, Zack Sabre Jr. gets irritated with Daniel Garcia.
Toni Storm retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Skye Blue after spray painting Skye Blue's mom in the face and despite Skye thwarting Ruby Soho's interference by spray painting Toni in the face behind the referee's back. After the match, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho attack Skye Blue until Willow Nightingale runs out and chases them out of the ring.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Hook. Jungle Boy says "the summer of JungleHook" is in full swing, then admits that he feels naked without a title next to Hook and that he will accept SANADA's open challenge. He then says it would be an honor if Hook were to be in his corner at Forbidden Door. Hook and Jungle Boy fist bump.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, "Hangman" Adam Page) beat The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta) in a trios match. After the match, The Blackpool Combat Club attack The Elite, then Eddie Kingston returns to AEW for the first time in months and fights Claudio Castagnoli. When Wheeler Yuta gets involved, Eddie clocks him. Eddie then gets the upper hand again and clotheslines Claudio out of the ring, and when Jon Moxley confronts Eddie, Matt Jackson attacks Moxley. Eddie tells Matt that he wants a piece of him, then Konosuke Takeshita shows up and attacks Eddie from behind. Shortly afterwards, Kenny Omega shows up. Omega and Takeshita brawl in the ring , then he and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) take out Takeshita as well as anyone else who gets in the ring. Omega soon goes for the V-Trigger, but after he hits Konosuke Takeshita with it, Will Ospreay suddenly shows up and superkicks Omega before laying him out. Ospreay then picks Omega back up and hits him with the Storm Breaker. Don Callis is seen clapping for Ospreay on the ramp, and Bryan Danielson claps for Ospreay soon afterwards. It is then announces that Ospreay will be wrestling on this week's Rampage before Ospreay attacks Omega one last time.

The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Malik Blade and Edris Enofe.
Backstage, Indi Hartwell warns Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez to be careful in the locker room because one can never know what might happen. Cora and Roxanne tell Indi that she is not the third wheel and that they all will take down Toxic Attraction.
Before the next match, Wendy Choo is seen bouncing around on a ball as Tiffany Stratton heads to the ring.
Apollo Crews is seen writing in a journal in a restaurant. He talks about his accomplishments in WWE as well as NXT calling him back. Suddenly, Apollo Crews sees a man being rude towards a waitress and approaches the man. We see him ask the man if there is a problem, then slam the man's face into the table when he tells him to go away, then we see it is a vision. Apollo Crews then approaches the man for real, and the same thing occurs.
Fallon Henley beats Tiffany Stratton after Wendy Choo shows up and throws confetti at Tiffany.
Backstage, Cameron Grimes makes it known to people that he is not looking for sympathy, including to Bron Breakker. Suddenly, Duke Hudson mentions that he has a disqualification win on him, and Bron Breakker, thinking Hudson is hanging his hat on this, challenges him to a rematch. Bron Breakker also puts the NXT Championship on the line in the rematch. Duke Hudson says he likes the sound of that.
We hear from Lash Legend, who says that he is done with Alba Fyre and her ancient history , then says that she is a world-class athlete in track and field and women's basketball to the point that multiple colleges were looking at her. She also talks about her college basketball career and how she was drafted in the WNBA only for COVID-19 to stop things cold. She then went to NXT in order to dominate in a totally different sport.

We hear from Joe Gacy, who tells his Dyad that it is time to show the world what they can do.
We see a vignette for Nathan Frazer, who talks about his childhood on the island of Jersey and how his dreams of a WWE Superstar become more of a reality than being a soccer player.
The Dyad beat Dante Chen and Javier Bernal. After the match, Joe Gacy says The Dyad have reached the next point in their progression and says not to judge them for a sense of belonging, as society and the people's negativity have made them feel inferior when they should feel superior. He says that The Dyad are not alone and that there are others like them in NXT, and that this will continue until NXT becomes a place of acceptance that believes in their message.
Sanga is talking with two women when Xyon Quinn shows up. Sanga says that Xyon Quinn is not even walking straight, let alone running it straight, and when Quinn asks him how tough he is, Sanga stands up. Quinn walks away, and Sanga says he has found his next opponent.
We hear from Nikkita Lyons, who says that a torn ACL kept her from winning the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament. She says that her knee is getting better and that she will be returning soon, and that everyone will hear this lion roar.
The D'Angelo Family enters the ring for the promotion of Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. After some brief reminiscing, he says that Donovan and Lorenzo have sacrificed and stepped up big time for the family. He says he is proud of Two Dimes and Stacks, and tells them that they have been promoted from associates to soldiers. D'Angelo gifts them with watches, then tells Two Dimes to get himself a nice steak dinner and get something nice. He also gives Stacks money and tells him to get something for Marie. D'Angelo then mentions to Legado del Fantasma the Code of Silence both in word and in deed, and tells them not to rat on their friends and keep their mouths shut. After D'Angelo has a reluctant handshake with Legado del Fantasma, he says he has the strongest family in NXT and that it is time to put championship gold around his waist. Suddenly, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams show up. Carmelo says the "Don of NXT" thing has gone to D'Angelo's head and that he should want no problem with him or the title. D'Angelo warns Carmelo to stay out of his business and that the NXT North American Championship is his business. Trick says he and Carmelo do not take well to threats, but D'Angelo says he calls the shots around here and that he wants a match with Carmelo for the NXT North American Championship next week. Two Dimes then proposes he and Stacks have a tag team match with Carmelo and Trick, and Carmelo and Trick accept, with Trick saying that he and Carmelo will make the ring talk regardless of how much Two Dimes is worth.
We hear from Mandy Rose, who says that Roxanne Perez will step up to the big league against Toxic Attraction (Mandy, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) tonight and that she will be begging to give the contract back. Jacy Jayne says failure loves company and asks who would be friends with Perez and Cora Jade. Gigi Dolin says Indi Hartwell would because she is desperate for friends, then Mandy Rose says Toxic Attraction will prove why they are the most dominant group in NXT history.
Bron Breakker quickly retains the NXT Championship against Duke Hudson. After the match, Cameron Grimes shows up to finish his conversation with Bron Breakker, saying that they haven't had a chance to talk since Bron took NXT by storm. He says that if Bron Breakker didn't have "that last name," he would not be NXT Champion. Cameron says he respects him, and while Bron did not eat off a silver platter, he ate better than he did. He says that while everyone knows who Bron's name is, nobody knows about his, but that is fine, the mentions their respective fathers before stating that while Bron gets better and better in the ring, Bron does not have his heart. He says that if his going to the moon, they might as well "launch the damn rocket," then challenges Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship. Bron tells Cameron he has his title match.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 14, 2021
The show begins with Alexa Bliss, who says that even she was taken aback by what Lilly did last week to "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and that she only had good intentions welcoming Baszler to the playground and that things went out of hand. Alexa says that she has put Lilly in time out due to going back on the road and due to concerns from WWE. Suddenly, Nia Jax shows up and tells Alexa that Baszler will see her at Hell In A Cell, then asks Alexa what happened to her as they used to be friends. After Alexa takes offense of Nia allegating that she meant to hurt Baszler and Nia tells Alexa that she will see her in the ring tonight, Alexa tearfully asks for forgiveness before laughing and accepting the challenge.
Before the next match, Sarah Schreiber interviews Charlotte Flair, who says that while she and Rhea Ripley will have a great match at Hell In A Cell, she lacks the maturity to be champion. She says she does not need a match tonight, and that she will make Nikki Cross a flash in the pan. She also says that she will end any hopes of Rhea Ripley being the one to lead the women's division.
Nikki Cross beats Charlotte Flair by count-out after Charlotte Flair showboats in front of Rhea Ripley on the outside for too long. After the match, Charlotte hits Nikki with a big boot, but when she goes for a Figure Four Leg Lock, Rhea Ripley gets in the ring and hits Charlotte with Riptide.
Backstage, Matt Riddle talks with Jeff Hardy, saying he feels like he let Randy Orton down as he asks for tag team match advice. Jeff says that trust is important, for when it is broken, the spirit of the team is gone. Jeff Hardy then tells Riddle to listen to Orton, as he has been in the business for a long time, then opens his eyes as he says he has a match with John Morrison and has to go, surprising Riddle, who had no idea that Jeff had his eyes shut the whole time. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy is gone, then Orton shows up. Riddle apologizes to Orton for letting him down, then Orton tells Riddle not to be another Randy Orton and to instead be more like himself.
The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.
John Morrison beats Jeff Hardy. During the match, Cedric Alexander shows up to get a closer look at the match. After the match, Cedric Alexander apologizes to Jeff Hardy for not showing proper respect to him last week, then says he looked back on their match last week and calls Jeff Hardy a sore winner who disrespected him. He then says he is sorry for not kicking Jeff's "disrespectful ass" into a retirement home, then Jeff Hardy grabs a microphone and says that he will retire if Cedric Alexander can beat him in a match right now.

In footage from earlier today, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke's photo shoot is disturbed by Natalya and Tamina practicing in a nearby ring. Natalya and Tamina accuse Dana and Mandy of being lazy and says their brains didn't open doors for them. Mandy Rose then tells Natlaya and Tamina that if it weren't for their famous names, doors would have been shut for them years ago. This starts a brawl in the practice ring between both teams, and officials and referees have to break it up.
Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Drew McIntyre, who says that he will call Bobby Lashley "Trashley" from now on before briefly addressing his match tonight with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. McIntyre then recalls the strategy of the great Scottish warrior William Wallace, then says his strategy this Sunday will be cold and calculated and will earn him the WWE Championship.

Alexa Bliss beats Nia Jax by disqualification after Reginald pulls Alexa off of Nia Jax. After the match, Alexa hypnotizes Reginald by staring at him, and Reginald moves his head in time with Alexa's and even moves his hand upward slightly in time with Alexa's before Alexa runs away.

MVP then wishes Kofi luck in his match on Sunday, then says he doesn't have one.

Nikki Cross beats Charlotte Flair by count-out after Charlotte Flair showboats in front of Rhea Ripley on the outside for too long. After the match, Charlotte hits Nikki with a big boot, but when she goes for a Figure Four Leg Lock, Rhea Ripley gets in the ring and hits Charlotte with Riptide.
Backstage, Matt Riddle talks with Jeff Hardy, saying he feels like he let Randy Orton down as he asks for tag team match advice. Jeff says that trust is important, for when it is broken, the spirit of the team is gone. Jeff Hardy then tells Riddle to listen to Orton, as he has been in the business for a long time, then opens his eyes as he says he has a match with John Morrison and has to go, surprising Riddle, who had no idea that Jeff had his eyes shut the whole time. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy is gone, then Orton shows up. Riddle apologizes to Orton for letting him down, then Orton tells Riddle not to be another Randy Orton and to instead be more like himself.

Backlash 2020 - The LIVE Results
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Christian and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flair talks about how Randy Orton lost in the Last Man Standing Match but will stay the greatest in-ring performer after tonight, but Christian says that Edge was working to get back into the ring and that Orton's last name didn't get Orton everything. He says that Orton took the path of least resistance that Edge had to scratch and claw for everything, and tonight, he is banking on passion and grit to overcome passion and help Edge win tonight.
The Miz and John Morrison's music video for "Hey! Hey Hey" is finally played after having been interrupted on SmackDown.
Kevin Owens guests on commentary for the next match.
Apollo Crews retains the WWE United States Championship against Andrade after Kevin Owens stops Angel Garza's interference attempt.
We hear from Sheamus, who says that tempers flared out of control and that he is willing to put Friday night behind him as he knows how much pain Jeff Hardy is when Jeff knows that he is not the beacon of hope he thinks he is. He says that the sober Jeff Hardy is a "false flicker of hope" before he succumbs to his demons and realizes that he is a junkie who is an embarrassment to everyone including himself, and tonight, he will make this known when he Brogue Kicks him off the wagon and back into obscurity.
Before the next match, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley and Sasha Banks. Sasha says that even if they lose, their friendship is unstoppable, and Bayley says that they are unstoppable, unbeatable and unconquerable.

Miz says Braun Strowman may have fixed his windshield, but he will not be able to fix his sense of loss tonight. Otis and Mandy Rose show up, and Otis tells them that he might cash in if either of them win.
Nia Jax vs. Asuka for the WWE Raw Women's Championship ends in a double count-out. Asuka retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship, then hits Nia Jax with a hip attack off the ring apron.
Backstage, MVP readies Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship celebration when Lana shows up to say Lashley is successful because of her. MVP tells Lana that he knows that she is afraid of what Lashley will say if she has this conversation with him.
Before the next match, The Miz says that before he or John Morrison become Universal Champion, he and Morrison need a "pump-up." Morrison proposes sharing the music video for "Hey! Hey Hey." The music video is interrupted by Braun Strowman's entrance during the second verse.
Braun Strowman retains the WWE Universal Championship against The Miz and John Morrison in a 2-in-1 handicap match after Miz pulls Morrison out of a pinfall attempt, which ends up costing Miz and Morrison the match.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who announces that this Friday, there will be a championship presentation. He says that while Daniel Bryan dreams, he makes his dreams happen, as Daniel is not phenomenal.
Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley after Lana shows up and gets on the ring apron, distracting Lashley and allowing McIntyre to send Lashley into Lana - who falls onto MVP - with a Glasgow Kiss before hitting the Claymore Kick for the win. Before the match, Lashley puts McIntyre in a full nelson, and it takes three referees to get Lashley to let go.
Backstage, The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) brawl outside the Performance Center and around Braun Strowman's car, breaking the car's front windshield. They quickly run into the building and brawl there. Both teams realize they are acting ridiculously and put all their weapons down at the same time, then start brawling again. As Erik and Dawkins brawl, Ivar picks up the bowling ball and looks back on their bowling match, then throws the bowling ball into Ford's crotch. Ivar catches up with Erik, but is tackled through a glass window by Dawkins. Ivar looks back to all the turkey legs he had, then Erik and Ford help their partners up. Before they can fight some more, men on motorcycles show up. One of them gets off his bike, and the bikers reveal themselves to be Akira Tozawa and a bunch of ninjas. The Viking Raides and The Street Profits become the Viking Profits and fight off Tozawa and the ninjas. Suddenly, Akira Tozawa brings out a tall ninja. The Viking Profits escape wen they realize they have no chance and walk across the top of a truck, where Ivar gets tired. Afterwards, both teams break up and start fighting again. Both teams soon fall into a dumpster, and Ivar looks back to all the times he was called cute while Erik was told "You...not so much." A referee finds them, says Ivar is cute - Erik, not so much - then both teams learn there is a crocodile in the dumpster and frantically climb out.
Randy Orton beats Edge in what is billed as "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" and what is Edge's first regular singles match in over nine years with a low blow followed by his trademark punt. The match is marked with cinematic camera angles, enhanced audio, referee Charles Robinson wearing a powder blue shirt, black bowtie and pants as well as posthumous pre-recorded fight introductions from the late ring announcer Howard Finkel. After the match, Orton tells Edge to go home to his wife and family. Medical personnel show up to put Edge on a stretcher, but Edge gets up under his own power.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 14, 2019
The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) beat Sabu and Rob Van Dam. During the match, Moose pushes Rob Van Dam off the top rope, stopping a stereo splash through a table on Alexander. After the match, Tommy Dreamer tosses Moose into the ring, and Sabu and RVD get the last word. Moose manages to escape, however.
Backstage, Moose and The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) have an argument, and Moose says he will take out not only Rob Van Dam, but the entire ECW Original contingent on his own, starting with Tommy Dreamer.
Havok beats Masha Slamovich. After the match, Father James Mitchell tells Rosemary to take care of her anger problems, as she leaves collateral damage every time she causes trouble. He says that he tried to warn her after she stole Su Yung and reminded her of the consequences of her actions, but then she put her hands on him, and for that, he sicced Havok on her. He says that Havok's actions broke the curse of the demon collar and that Taya Valkyrie was in the way, and that he has decided to see to it that Havok becomes the next Knockouts Champion while using Rosemary's carcass as a launch pad.
Raj Singh beats Cody Deaner after Gama Singh fakes a heart attack when Cousin Jake gets his hands on him, allowing Rohit Raju to land a cheap shot on Cody Deaner so Raj Singh can get the win.
Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin, who says that Willie Mack is stubborn and still wants him one-on-one. As he says an ambulance is on-site waiting for him, Johnny Impact shows up with John E. Bravo. Elgin tells Johnny to keep the number for the ambulance on speed-dial in case he steps to him again. Johnny says he is just offering help, but Elgin says he does not need it from him or from John E. Bravo.
We hear from Rosemary, who says that Father James Mitchell loves the sound of his own voice and that she is a creature of action. While Havok and Mitchell may have gotten the better of her last week, she asks what will make Havok any different when Mitchell could not control Su Yung. She then says that the shadow has put her on a mission to take back the Knockouts Championship, and if Mitchell wants that collateral damage he keeps talking about, she is more than happy to give it to him.
The Impact Plus Moment of the Week is Dixie Carter being put through a table on August 7, 2014.
Backstage, Alisha Edwards and Masha Slamovich are met in the women's locker room by Sami Callihan, who is soon confronted by Tessa Blanchard. Sami tells Tessa she doesn't belong in the ring against his men in oVe, but Tessa says that is exactly where she belongs and proposes a match against Jake Crist next week. Sami says he is glad they are able to do this the easy way.
Kiera Hogan - now with a new entrance theme - guests on commentary for the next match.
Madison Rayne beats Jordynne Grace following the distraction by Kiera Hogan.
We see a video package chronicling the rivalry between Killer Kross and Eddie Edwards prior to Kross' match against Sandman coming up next.
Killer Kross beats The Sandman with the Kross Jacket. After the match, Killer Kross refuses to let go of the Kross Jacket, and Eddie Edwards runs into the ring and fights Kross, sending him out of the ring.
At the bar, Konnan tells Santana and Ortiz that there is no reason for them despite how they won, as they almost got beaten by The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) last week. Suddenly, The Rascalz show up, wanting a rematch. Konnan commends The Rascalz for stepping up, but when Zachary Wentz demands respect, this leads to a brawl between both sides which ends in Santana and Ortiz laying The Rascalz out. They then tell The Rascalz that if they want a rematch, they've got it. A friend then shows up - who is actually Laredo Kid in street clothes - and takes something out of one of The Rascalz' pockets.
Taya Valkyrie shows up for The Smoke Show with John E. Bravo. After an awkward interview, it becomes known that Taya Valkyrie's 30-day title defense time limit is about to expire, and that Taya will have to defend the Impact Knockouts Championship against Su Yung. Taya becomes grossed out at the thought of wrestling Su Yung with the title on the line and hastily leaves.
Next week: Su Yung vs. Taya Valkyrie for the Impact Knockouts Championship! Tessa Blanchard vs. Sami Callihan! Moose vs. Tommy Dreamer! Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 14, 2018
We see footage from earlier today of Moose entering the arena.
Before the next match can take place, Eddie Edwards shows up and strikes Grado with a Kendo stick before scaring Katarina out of the ring. He then takes a microphone and says that last week, he had Sami Callihan beaten and bloodied, and he was about to kill Callihan and end him once and for all until Tommy Dreamer ruined it, saying that everyone loves him and that he has everyone fooled. He calls out Tommy Dreamer so he can expose him as a thief and a schemer, and Dreamer shows up. Dreamer tells Eddie to calm down, but Eddie says he will take the show hostage until he does what he has to do. He tells Tommy he ruined his chance from ending Callihan, but Dreamer says that he stopped him from making the biggest mistake of his life as he had beaten Callihan earlier. Eddie says he did not want to beat Calihan; he wanted to end him. Dreamer says he knows how that feels, but he also knows what it is like when friends of him can no longer wrestler and asks if he would change a thing. Dreamer admits he is a hypocrite and that he and the other wrestler didn't know about head injuries back in the day, and says he also obsessed over a man and nearly lost everything. Eddie wants to know why Dreamer won't let him end Callihan, and Dreamer tells him that he has already beaten Callihan and that he should move on, as he has to potential to become Impact World Champion again; instead, he wants to keep being bloodthirsty and ending a man. Eddie says he was going to ride out into the sunset with his wife Alisha Edwards, but now she will not even return his calls. Dreamer says he knows Alisha does not talk to him anymore, and this leads to Eddie pushing Dreamer into a corner and screaming at him not to talk to his wife. Sami Callihan says things might now have went as planned last week, but he calls last week a win as Eddie Edwards has lost his mind, and he will eventually lose his wife Alisha Edwards before lsoing everything else. Tonight, they have a different agenda, as Jake Crist will take out El Hijo del Fantasma as they take people out and do what they want because they are for Ohio, by Ohio and taking over everything.
The Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley) beat KM and Fallah Bahh after Caleb rakes Fallah Bahh, causing a blinded Bahh to hit KM with a Samoan Drop. After the match, KM yells at Fallah Bahh and pushes him to the mat before telling him "You'll always be a goddamn loser! I'm done!"

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, everyone is playing cards when King announces that Santana and Ortiz have a shot at the Impact World Tag Team Championships, and that there will be more money coming in when they win. Diamante hesitates to join in the toast to the tag team title shot at first, but eventually joins in. After Diamante, Santana and Ortiz leave, Santana becomes serious for a moment and puts his feet up on the storage box that is used as a table and says to himself "The world is mine."
For House of Hardcore, Moose beats Eli Drake to face Austin Aries for the Impact World Championship at >Slammiversary XVI.

We see a video package chronicling the recent events concerning the series of backstage attacks over the last few weeks.
El Hijo del Fantasma beats Jake Crist with a roll-up. After the match, Dave Crist picks El Hijo del Fantasma back up outside of the ring, but El Hijo del Fantasma fights back until Sami Callihan shows up and strikes him with a baseball bat. The Crist brothers then get El Hijo del Fantasma up to take his mask off when the lights suddenly go dark and Pentagon Jr. shows up. Pentagon Jr. takes down both Crist brothers before staring down with Sami Callihan. Callihan then retreats.
"Reborn" Matt Sydal retains the Impact X Division Championship by count-out. During the match, Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong show up and watch from the ramp. When the match goes to the outside, Kongo Kong attacks Cage from behind after Cage gets Sydal back into the ring and sends him back into the steel steps, handing Cage his first-ever loss.
"The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams is arrested when he is seen by Sonjay Dutt dropping the red card with the X in a circle on Fallah Bahh. A security guard handcuffs Petey and carries him off to the side, then proceeds to beat him up before telling him he is under arrest for the crimes he should have committed. He then proceeds to choke Petey out with his nightstick before revealing a bunch of tattoos on his back and laying the red card with the black X in a circle on Petey. He then turns to the camera, says "You should probably call the police," and leaves, revealing that he is the mystery attacker.

Before the next match can take place, Eddie Edwards shows up and strikes Grado with a Kendo stick before scaring Katarina out of the ring. He then takes a microphone and says that last week, he had Sami Callihan beaten and bloodied, and he was about to kill Callihan and end him once and for all until Tommy Dreamer ruined it, saying that everyone loves him and that he has everyone fooled. He calls out Tommy Dreamer so he can expose him as a thief and a schemer, and Dreamer shows up. Dreamer tells Eddie to calm down, but Eddie says he will take the show hostage until he does what he has to do. He tells Tommy he ruined his chance from ending Callihan, but Dreamer says that he stopped him from making the biggest mistake of his life as he had beaten Callihan earlier. Eddie says he did not want to beat Calihan; he wanted to end him. Dreamer says he knows how that feels, but he also knows what it is like when friends of him can no longer wrestler and asks if he would change a thing. Dreamer admits he is a hypocrite and that he and the other wrestler didn't know about head injuries back in the day, and says he also obsessed over a man and nearly lost everything. Eddie wants to know why Dreamer won't let him end Callihan, and Dreamer tells him that he has already beaten Callihan and that he should move on, as he has to potential to become Impact World Champion again; instead, he wants to keep being bloodthirsty and ending a man. Eddie says he was going to ride out into the sunset with his wife Alisha Edwards, but now she will not even return his calls. Dreamer says he knows Alisha does not talk to him anymore, and this leads to Eddie pushing Dreamer into a corner and screaming at him not to talk to his wife.
