"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flair isn't worried about The Giant. Woman says The Giant is "a small man" compared to the Nature Boy, and Miss Elizabeth says The Giant isn't anywhere near as much of a man as Flair.

Our world is about to change...blood runs cold...and it's coming to WCW...

The Giant says he knew in his heart of hearts that the World title was his since Halloween Havoc, and he's World champion and a fighting champion whether the people like it or not. He calls out Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Sting, and says that come one, come all, they are going to fall.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 29, 1996

It is revealed at the beginning of the show that the reason The British Bulldog wanted to confront "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels last night was because of rumors that Michaels slept with his wife, Diana Hart Smith. When Michaels won his match last night, The British Bulldog headed down the aisles after In Your House went off the air.

Mankind beats Bart Gunn with the two fingers to the esophagus. We find out that the music that plays when Mankind wins has a calming effect on him.

Jim Ross interviews Bart Gunn, who says that Mankind's submission move was so devastating he couldn't move. As he speaks, Mankind shows up and sticks his fingers down Bart Gunn's esophagus again.

Savio Vega guests on commentary for the next match, and shows up with a leather strap, and immediately challenges "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to a Carribean Strap Match at the next In Your House.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Scott Taylor with the Million Dollar Dream. During the match, Jerry "The King" Lawler almost gets whipped by Savio Vega. After the match, Savio Vega challenges Steve Austin to the Carribean Strap Match. Austin and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase reject the challenge. DiBiase leaves the ring, but Austin does not, and Vega smacks Austin from ebhind with the leather strap.

Vince McMahon interviews The British Bulldog and his wife Diana Hart Smith in the ring. He then introduces "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Michaels says that one month ago, nobody thought his wrestling style would last sixty minutes against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, but he adapated to Hart's style, danced for 63 minutes, and came out on top. Last night, nobody thought his wrestling style would hold up against Diesel, but he held his own and gave Diesel an ass-whipping of his own. Michaels then says he can adapt to any style and that he is ready for the best the WWF has to offer. Jim Cornette confronts The Heartbreak Kid for sleeping with Diana Hart Smith. It is shown through last night's footage that a production assistant asked Diana to come with him to the back, as Jim Cornette was in trouble. She goes to the back. Cornette was not waiting there, but Michaels supposedly was. Cornette says that Michaels put his arm around her, took her to a dark corner and propositioned her. Cornette wants to know what kind of person what do this, and calls Michaels a sleazebag (among other things). Cornette then forces Michaels to face Diana, and accuses Michaels of being a fornicator. Diana tells Michaels he knows he wants her, but Michaels tells her with all due respect not to flatter herself. Diana slaps Michaels in the face, then Michaels says "I guess we all know who wears the pants in the Smith family." Bulldog then attacks Michaels, starting a brawl before the break.

During the break, officials broke up the brawl between "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and The British Bulldog.

Next week on Raw: "Wildman" Marc Mero vs. The 1-2-3 Kid! The Undertaker vs Owen Hart! Goldust!

The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) come to the ring with their own pet pigs before the next match as it is announced that the winner of the match will get a title shot against The Bodydonnas (Zip and Skip).

We hear from Sunny, who says she needs to get "a little closer look" to see which team she prefers to have The Bodydonnas' (Zip and Skip) tag team title match against.

Yhe Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) and The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy) fight to a double count-out when both legal men are out of the ring and Hillbilly Jim chases after Sunny for trying to get Phineas' attention.

Jim Ross interviews Mankind in a backstage stairwell. He asks Mankind about his submission holds. Mankind says there are over 740 pressure points in the human body, and "during the course of an isolated adolescence, [he] explored them all and searched for the weapon from which there would be no escape." He says "It was a wonderful nerve, underneath the eye socket, but underneath the tongue where the flesh is weak and the nerves run deep, when enough force is exhibited, there is no escape. Temporary paralysis overcomes the body and the only hope for Mankind's love for humanity" - and he assures he is thine. He is surprised not only of the fact that he was able to beat Undertaker with the hold, and tells 'Taker to show some courage of he will destroy him whenever and wherever he chooses, as he is tired of 'Taker's weakness.

The Ultimate Warrior beats Isaac Yankem D.D.S.

It is announced that as per WWF President Gorilla Monsoon that there will be a rematch between The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) and The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Garrett) on this week's Superstars.

In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies - The Results

"Wildman" Marc Mero beats The 1-2-3 Kid by disqualification on the Free For All after interference from Hunter Hearst Helmsley. During the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley slowly chases Sable around the ring, but Mero notices and stops him, and another official orders Helmsley back to the back. This doesn't stop Helmsley from rushing back in and attacking Mero along with The 1-2-3 Kid. Helmsley then drives Mero into the mat with the Pedigree. All the while, Helmsley is occasionally seen giving the horns, and The 1-2-3 Kid does the same as he leaves along with Helmsley and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

Dok Hendrix interviews The Ultimate Warrior, who says he has a mission to fulfill tonight and bring the spirit of the Warrior out of the Intercontinental Championship. Marlena shows up and blows cigarette smoke into the Warrior's face, which gets him all fired up.

Before the first match, Clarence Mason, Jim Cornette and Owen Hart show up with The British Bulldog with an official court document. Jake "The Snake" Roberts brings Revelations with him, but he finds out that he can't bring Revelations to the ring thanks to Clarence Mason. Roberts tears up the document and sic Revelations on Cornette, Mason, Owen Hart and The Bulldog. Unfortunately, he has to take Revelations to the back, but when he returns, he returns with Ahmed Johnson.

The British Bulldog and Owen Hart beat Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Ahmed Johnson after The British Bulldog whacks Roberts in the knee with Jim Cornette's tennis racket while the ref is distracted by Owen and Ahmed before putting Roberts in a leg lock.

"Wildman" Marc Mero and The 1-2-3 Kid can be seen talking on the WWF Superstar Line.

Goldust and Marlena come out with a big man in a suit and hat on their way to the ring. It is also noted that Goldust's knee is wrapped up.

When The Ultimate Warrior shows up, Goldust doesn't want to get in the ring with him. He, Marlena and the unknown guy in the suit - perhaps a bodyguard - try to leave, but Warrior plays mind games by smoking Marlena's cigar and sitting in Marlena's director's chair with Goldust's robe and wig draped on the back. Goldust grabs the mic and tells everyone that if they don't shut up, he'll kiss every single person there. The crowd responds by calling Goldust a "faggot." (The author wishes he was making this last part up.) Afer several minutes, Warrior gives Marlena her cigar back, then tries to hand Goldust back his robe, and Goldust puts it back on. He then lets Goldust sit in his chair, then Marlena lets Warrior have a drag on her cigar. Goldust tries to turn Warrior on, and when he extends his hand, Warrior places the burnt end of the cigar on the back of Goldust's hands. Goldust and Marlena retreat, and Warrior throws the director's chair out of the ring. Goldust is counted out and retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship, making The Ultimate Warrior the winner, then Warrior chases the bodyguard into the ring. The bodyguard ries to attack the Warrior, but the Warrior makes short work of him. Warrior then celebrates his victory while wearing Goldust's wig and the bodyguard's hat.

Dok Hendrix is in the back, where The British Bulldog and Owen Hart are trying to get into "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' dressing room.

Vader beats Razor Ramon. After the match, Dok Hendrix tells Jim Cornette and Vader that Vader's next opponent at the next In Your House on May 26th is Yokozuna. Cornette tells Yokozuna he's walking into the danger zone next, and this time Vader will destroy Yokozuna's entire body.

Paul Bearer and The Undertaker are live on America On-Line.

The Bodydonnas (Zip and Skip) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) after Sunny distracts Phineas, Hillbilly Jim and the referee with a signed picture of herself, which almost gets Sunny slopped. During the distraction, Henry O. Godwinn fails to get the pinfall off the Slop Drop, and Zip and Skip switch places to pull the old switcheroo on Henry. The signed picture is placed in the slop bucket, but Phineas pulls it out and puts it in his overalls after the match.

In Your House is coming back to pay-per-view on May 26th!

"Wildman" Marc Mero will take on Hunter Hearst Helmsley at the next In Your House. He tells Dok Hendrix that Hunter Hearst Helmsley stuck his silver spoon where it didn't belong. He tells Hunter he has unleashed the beast within, and that he will find out what the Wildman is made of.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up, and Garner tells him that if he does not cease his actions towards "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, the repercussions will be severe. Savage says he will be creative as doing what he wants to do when he wants to do it, and says that he will be the tag team partner from hell when it comes time to teaming with Flair. Garner tells Savage he should seek professional help, but Savage threatens to get physical with Garner (asking him what an open-hand slap is) and threatens to do something to electrify WCW, then leaves.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: "Lord" Steven Regal vs. The Belfast Bruiser! "Macho Man" Randy Savage! The Giant! Chris Benoit vs. Alex Wright! Sting and Lex Luger vs. Harlem Heat!

"Lord" Steven Regal will be teaming up with his rival The Belfast Bruiser to take on V.K. Wallstreet and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.

Before the next match, "Macho Man" Randy Savage goes after "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, but local authorities quickly apprehend Savage and handcuff him. Flair tries to stomp Savage as he is being cuffed, then Savage is carried to the back. Also, Flair tries once again to impress Steve "Mongo" McMichael's wife Debra, who is seated next to the aisle again this week.

Sting and Lex Luger vs. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and The Giant ends when The Nature Boy accidentally tosses hot coffee (handed to him by Woman) into the face of The Giant. Luger, Sting and Flair all get out of dodge, but Flair gets a towel for The Giant and apologizes. As "Mean" Gene Okerlund is about to conduct an interview with Flair, The Giant and Jimmy Hart, The Giant confronts Flair. Flair escapes, and The Giant tells Flair that he will take the World Heavyweight Championship. Flair tells The Giant he has until the end of the night to apologize to him, "or next week, I'll kick your big ass." This causes The Giant to run after The Nature Boy at mach speed and chase him to the back, and it is announced not long after that the World title will be on the line between the two of them next week.

During the match, The Ultimate Warrior says in a pre-recorded message that his heart has already been taken by those who have always believed. He tells Goldust he's not here for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and that he's only there to put a hole "in his house."

It is announced that The Ultimate Warrior will be live on America On-Line tomorrow night at 9 PM Eastern.

Vader quickly beats Fatu.

We see more footage from WWF's recent tour of Germany, which winds down tonight, and some of the footage is of Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Owen Hart, which ends after interference from and an attack on Roberts by The British Bulldog. Roberts then fights back and sics his snake Revelations on the Bulldog.

In a pre-recorded match, Sunny says there's too much hog-sloppin' in the World Wrestling Federation, and that it's time for her and The Bodydonnas (Zip and Skip) to teach The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) a lesson.

The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) beat Ken Patterson and Tajiri. During the match, Sunny tries to distract The Godwinns, but Hillbilly Jim sics Ol' Blue on her. Mankind beats "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya with the two fingers to the esophagus.

We see the history between "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Diesel.

Earlier in the WWF's tour of Germany, Diesel told "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels that he plans to teach Shawn a lesson. He says his reign as WWF Champion was the worst year of his life due to the WWF trying to turn him into something he wasn't, and says that the WWF now knows who the real Diesel is. He says Shawn is a dime a dozen, and tells Vince McMahon to watch his back as he'll be next when he's done with Shawn.

With The Booty Man hurt over two weeks ago on WCW Saturday Night, Hulk Hogan beats The Taskmaster and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in a handicap match. After the match, Hogan has both Woman and Miss Elizabeth in the ring, but when Jimmy art gets in the ring, Hulk gets him instead...only to get powder thrown into his face. This just makes Hogan mad, and he rips the back of Hart's jacket before giving him the beating of his life. The Giant shows up after Hogan has Hart where he wants him, however, and puts him in a choke slam only for Hogan to get right back up and body slam him. The Giant gets away when "Mean" Gene Okerlund taps Hogan on the shoulder and almost gets slammed until Hogan realizes who he is. Okerlund then interviews Hogan, who says he's on a roll again and he's ready to take back the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

The Nasty Boys (Jerry Saggs and Brian Knobbs) beat Public Enemy ("Flyboy" Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) after Brian Knobbs rolls off the table and Johnny Grunge goes straight through it. After the match, Public Enemy double team Jerry Saggs into a table.

Also during the match, "Earl" Robert Eaton does an impression of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and Jeeves tosses a Four Horsemen T-shirt to Eaton as he has Savage in the Figure Four Leg Lock. We see a video package of Sunny.

This week on Option 6 of the WWF Superstar Line: What do The British Bulldog and Magic Johnson have in common?

Savio Vega beats Goldust for the WWF Intercontinental Championship...almost. When referee Earl Hebner is knocked out, referee Tim White shows up to check on him and sees Savio Vega use the Intercontinental Championship that Marlena tossed into the ring for Goldust to use as a weapon. Both referees are conflicted as to who is the champion until WWF President Gorilla Monsoon explains to ring announcer Howard Finkel what has happened. Goldust is then stripped of the WWF Intercontinental Championship. However, the WWF Intercontinental Championship is declared vacant and that a rematch for the title between Savio Vega and Goldust take place next week, which means that Savio Vega is not champion.

Next week: Vader in action! Mankind! The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) in tag team action!

We see never-before-seen footage of Bret "The Hit Man" Hart from WrestleMania 12 after his championship loss to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, where he takes off as soon as possible and tells the media to "fuck off for a while." This past weekend, Hart was interviewed in Bonn, Germany. He now accepts the result of the match, but is still miffed that the 60-minute Iron Man Match went into overtime, saying that Shawn Michaels was a beaten man at the end of the match. He rues the fact that he never went straight back to the dressing room after the initial 60 minutes. He then says he couldn't picture himself working for another wrestling organization as he sees it as a step down, and he knows that a certain organization is trying to throw money around to get him to cross over to their side. He says the only place where he can get respect is the World Wrestling Federation, and says that he feels a little bit betrayed and a little less interested in getting the title back every time he loses it, but he's still willing enough to go for it again.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 8, 1996

Mr. Perfect replaces Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary this week.

Yokozuna vs. Vader ends when Vader breaks Yokozuna's leg from the second rope. Vader then hits Yokozuna with multiple Vader Bombs, then Vader and Jim Cornette celebrate as Vader is handed the win by decision. Officials and medical personnel check on Yokozuna, and Yokozuna has to be taken out on a stretcher.

After the break, we see footage of Yokozuna with a splint on his left leg as he is carried to the back on a forklift. (It was the only way anybody could move Yokozuna, who was over 660 pounds at the time.)

Vince McMahon interviews The Ultimate Warrior in the ring. In the 3 1/2 years that he has been gone, the voices would not die. He says that the fans spoke to him in that time, and they all said one thing: "We wanted Warrior, and we want it bad, and we want to live one more time in the power of the Warrior." When Vince asks how The Warrior will fare against the New Generation, he says the powers of the Warriors will rise and meet, and that anyone who challenges them will fall. As Warrior speaks, Goldust and Marlena arrive, and Goldust tells Warrior to "come out and play" and that he can come in his house, but nobody will be there. Goldust then wants to have his way with The Warrior, but The Warrior is not in the mood for it. Warrior tells Goldust that his mind games won't work and that he doesn't "give a shit" about what Goldust is into. It doesn't take much after that for Warrior to hit Goldust with a standing clothesline, but not before giving Goldust an idea for a full-length feature: "Kicking your ass from beginning to end."

Yokozuna is about to be placed on the ambulance when Vader shows up and attacks Yokozuna's injured leg with a steel chair.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Duke "The Dumpster" Droese. During the match, we hear a pre-recorded message from Marc Mero that Hunter Hearst Helmsley took him by surprise, but the real surprise begins next week.

Diana Hart Smith is seen in the front row as The British Bulldog shows up with Owen Hart.

Yokozuna is finally placed into the ambulance as it rains outside.

Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog show up for their arm wrestling match. Owen Hart tells Ahmed to turn back now as The British Bulldog is the strongest man there is. Owen then accuses Ahmed of trying to cheat, saying he has a bunch of oil on him that could give him extra leverage, which leads Ahmed to wipe his hands on the back of the referee's shirt. The referee tells Owen Hart to knock it off or else he's going to the back. Owen then accuses Ahmed of getting more leverage, and Ahmed picks up the steel chair in preparation to smack Owen with it. The ref tells him he's going to the back if he hears any more out of him. Owen then says that Bulldog isn't ready yet, and that leads the ref to tell Owen to go back to the back, and it takes another referee to get Owen to go over there. The arm wrestling match then commences, after a back-and-forth battle, Ahmed wins. The Bulldog then proves himself a sore loser by hitting Ahmed with a steel chair before putting the table in the corner, hitting the ref, hitting Ahmed with the steel chairs in the ring and whipping Ahmed into the table when Ahmed tries to fight back. After two attempts to send Ahmed through the table, Bulldog picks up the table and throws it into Ahmed before hitting the table with multiple double-foot stomps while the table is on top of Ahmed. Officials have to keep The British Bulldog from attacking Ahmed further. After Bulldog leaves, officials help Ahmed to the back.

Savio Vega faces off against Goldust for the WWF Intercontinental Championship next week on Raw!

Diesel guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Jerry "The King" Lawler. Diesel and Shawn stare down from opposite ends of the ropes after Shawn calls him out, and the two of them brawl as soon as Diesel gets into the ring. Mr. Perfect steals the WWF Championship, and when Shawn notices, Diesel takes advantage of the situation and gets the upper hand. Mr. Perfecthands the WWF Championship to Diesel, who hits Shawn with it. Diesel places the title on top of a downed Shawn Michaels and celebrates, then gives Mr. Perfect a high-five before leaving.
