Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 15, 1999

RAW

WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up to start tonight's show. He introduces "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Mankind, who will be facing each other for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 15. Before Shawn can say much else, however, WWF co-owner Vince McMahon shows up with a bandage on his forehead and his neck in a neck brace. Vince says he stands before everyone tonight a broken and humble man, and tells Austin that he put 12 stitches in his head and threw him off the top of a cage, much to the delight of the crowd, and says he wants to be a better man and start all over, and bury the hatchet. All he wants Austin to do is say that he is sorry. Austin says he can handle that, and says he is sorry...for not beating his ass worse than he beat it. He also asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they still think he is an asshole. Vince then tells Shawn to do his job and give the people want they want, as Mankind did not win last night and the fans deserve a rematch between The Rock and Mankind for the WWF Championship, and that they deserve it here tonight. Mankind says he feels pretty crappy tonight even by his standards, and wants a week to get ready for the rematch. The Rock shows up, and tells Mankind he doesn't even have seven minutes. For the last five months, he has done what he has said he was going to do, and that is bash Mankind's brains in. Tonight, he wants his rematch, and tells Shawn that he is no more than "a roody-poo candyass," and tells him to know his role make the rematch for tonight. Mankind tells The Rock that he is always talking about testicular fortitude, and tells Shawn he should not have to make the match as his testicles are full of fortitude. He tells The Rock he will see him in the ring tonight. Vince then tells Shawn to make his own kind of match where there has to be a winner, and to make it a Ladder Match. Shawn tells The Rock he's had roles The Rock will never had, and makes a Ladder Match for the WWF Championship between The Rock and Mankind official for tonight. Vince then says there will be a special guest referee in the WWF Championship match at WrestleMania 15, and that man is Paul Wight. Austin flips Paul Wight off as Wight stands on stage.

An inter-gender tag match between the team of Debra and Jeff Jarrett and the team of Ivory and D'Lo Brown ends in an no-contest when Debra and Ivory have a catfight in the ring. After the match, Debra smashes a guitar into the back of Ivory, and Owen Hart shows up and gets a few shots on D'Lo in the corner.

Paul Wight is welcomed into The Corporation in the locker room.

D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac) show up. Triple H addresses Chyna, saying she must feel good about herself after last night, and cannot blame her as it is "the first time she has ever been on top of a man." He and X-Pac have a bad taste in their mouth from last night, and demands that Chyna bring Kane to the ring for a rematch. Chyna and Kane show up with WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, asking Triple H if he is out of his mind and announcing that there is no rematch, as Chyna gets the night off for a job well done last night. This gives X-Pac an idea, and proposes "trading one bitch for another bitch" and replacing Chyna in the match with Shane. Shane says everybody knows he can take X-Pac, and Triple H asks if that is a yes. Shane says he has no proper ring attire, and asks Triple H if he is a puss. Shane says that if X-Pac to put the WWF European Championship on the line in the match, and he'll accept. X-Pac says he has no problem with that, and after he puts the title on the line, he'll put his foot up Shane's ass. Triple H then tells Shane they have two words for him: suck it.

Val Venis and Ryan Shamrock are seen making out backstage.

Mankind is seen climbing on a ladder underneath the floor in preparation for last night's Ladder Match backstage.

Before the next match, Val Venis says he is the new WWF Intercontinental Champion, and says it's been a long, hard road, but as usual, he rose to the occasion and came out on top.

Val Venis retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn. During the match, Ryan Shamrock gets on the apron, and is knocked down when Venis whips Gunn into the rope. Gunn checks on her, then Ryan gets in the ring with Val. Venis then says "Whoa...we did this?" and says that last time he checked, the title only goes around one waist. He says it's been real and good, but it hasn't been real good, and dumps Ryan Shamrock, saying there is no more room on the road for her.

Ryan Shamrock is seen talking to "Bad Ass' Billy Gunn when "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock shows up, attacks Billy Gunn and snaps.

The Ministry of Darkness show up. Paul Bearer says that you never hear much from "the fat man" these days unless he has something important to say. He tells everyone to listen up, and tells WWF co-owner Vince McMahon to bring his butt off the pedestal he made for himself and listen to The Undertaker. The Undertaker tells Vince that in time, the WWF will belong to him. One by one, everyone will fall before The Ministry. Last night, The Big Boss Man received a small sample of the power he possesses, and then let him go. Next time, The Boss Man will not be so lucky. The Undertaker then says that The Ministry went to the heart and soul of The Corporation and took him out, and says they can take anyone out who they desire, and that there is nothing Vince can do about it. The Undertaker then says Vince is wondering how he can be so competent and succeed where others have failed, and says he owns the key to Vince's heart and soul. As Vince was preoccupied with his petty obsessions, he amassed an army that will destroy Vince and The Corporation. Each soul they take, will be taken in the name of a power far more powerful than The Undertaker. In that power's name, vision and dream and in The Ministry's destiny, The Undertaker will own the World Wrestling Federation. Suddenly, The Big Boss Man shows up, and says that if The Undertaker wants a piece of him, he is not hard to find. If The Undertaker has aspiration of taking over and he has the guts, they can get it started tonight. He challenges The Ministry to a six-man tag team match tonight, and tells The Undertaker it is just a matter of time before he "stick[s] his foot up his dead ass." The Undertaker tells Boss Man he should be more careful what he asks for.

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon is seen wearing a D-Generation X shirt with "X-Punk" diagonally printed across the shirt as he is backstage with Kane and Chyna.

WAR ZONE

Kane and Shane McMahon beat D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac), and Shane McMahon is the WWF European Champion. As referee Earl Hebner is preoccupied with Triple H and Kane outside of the ring, Chyna hands Shane the WWF European Championship to use as a weapon against X-Pac, and he hits X-Pac with the title before getting the pinfall. Shane has to be helped to the back, and Chyna has to keep Kane from getting back in the ring and going after Triple H.

Kevin Kelly interviews Shane McMahon, who is celebrating his WWF European Championship win with The Corporation. When asked what he is going to do next, Shane says he is going to WrestleMania.

Bob Holly retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman when Droz attacks Blackman from behind backstage. After the match, Holly says that he has proved himself, and that ever since he has been in the WWF, the company has given him lousy gimmicks, goofy names and weak tag team partners. Holly says it is all about him now, and that the Hardcore title is what he is all about, as he is hardcore. He issues a challenge to anybody out there who wants a shot at his championship. All of a sudden, Bart Gunn - who has not been seen since SummerSlam - shows up wanting to know what Holly means by "weak tag team partners," and asks if he forgot about him. Holly says he didn't forget about him, as he was the only man that Bart Gunn could not knock out in the Brawl For All Tournament. Gunn challenges him to a match for the WWF Hardcore Championship next week, and Holly accepts, saying he will show him what an Alabama ass-kicking is all about.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen pacing backstage.

Kevin Kelly interviews Sable in the ring. Sable says she's been pretty busy as of late, and announces that she will be on the cover of Playboy magazine hitting newsstands on March 8th. She also will be on the covers of TV Guide and Raw Magazine, and will also be on Regis & Kathie Lee during the week, and that she is getting tons of TV and movie offers. She thanks the fans, saying it would not be possible without them. Suddenly, the stalker that has been seen - and stopped - in the past is stopped by security, but Sable tells the security guard to let her go. The stalker professes her admiration for her, but when she grabs Sable's hand, Sable pulls it away and tells her that she is sick and tired of her harassing her, and that she could never be like her. After calling the stalker a wanna-be, she asks security to escort her out.

WWF co-owner Vince McMahon is seen talking to The Rock backstage.

Eric "Butterbean" Esch is seen in the front row before the match.

The Corporation (The Big Boss Man, Test, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock) vs. The Ministry of Darkness (Mideon, Faarooq, Bradshaw) ends in a no-contest. During the match, The Undertaker and Paul Bearer show up, and The Ministry are now standing on the stage, and Mideon, Faarooq and Bradshaw stand at the foot of the ramp once the lights come back on. Edge, Christian and Viscera then bring out Shane McMahon, and The Undertaker says he should carve Shane's out right now, but WWF co-owner Vince McMahon would not give a damn. He then says "Then again," before grabbing Shane by the throat before pulling a note out of his robe, and tells him to give the note to Vince and to tell him it comes from The Lord of Darkness.

Before the next match, The Rock calls the Birmingham, Alabama crowd "the biggest collection of trailer park trash" he has ever seen, and there is no bigger piece of trailer park trash than "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The Rock then says he plans on climbing the ladder rung by rung and taking back the WWF Championship tonight.

The Rock beats Mankind in a Ladder Match to win the WWF Championship for a third time. During the match, Paul Wight shows up and choke slams Mankind off the ladder as Mankind has The Rock in the Mandible Claw. Wight leaves after telling "Stone Cold" Steve Austin he is next. After that, The Rock is able to climb up the ladder and win the title. After the match, Austin gets in the ring and hits The Rock with a Stone Cold Stunner.

After the show goes off the air, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin lifts up the WWF Championship before throwing it down and mouthing off at The Rock. Austin then celebrates with a beer, then pushes the ladder out of the ring. The Rock then gets back up, and knocks the beer out of Austin's hand. The Rock then grabs two beers from the nearby cooler and offers one to Austin in the hopes of drinking a beer with him before WrestleMania 15 to celebrate becoming the new WWF Champion. At this point, Mankind has gotten back up, and now that he is a former WWF Champion, wants to partake in the beer-drinking, already having a beer in his hand. All three men have a toast and drink a beer, then The Rock tries to attack Austin only to fall victim to both a Stone Cold Stunner and a Mandible Claw. Mankind leaves the ring, and Austin hands The Rock - who is now on the commentary table - another beer before punching him in the face as he drinks it. Austin then heads to the back while The Rock is sitting knocked out on a chair at the commentary table.

Vince's Got A Shotgun - Shotgun Saturday Night recap for August 29, 1998

The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball) beat Ace Darling and Devon Storm.

We hear from The Undertaker, who tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that he is the fastest-growing legend in the WWF but spends too much time running his mouth. He says that he may have no idea that he is about to face a legend slayer. He says that he has slayed what was immortal and beaten what was ultimate (references to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, respectively), and at SummerSlam, the end is inevitable and all Austin can hope for is that it comes quickly, as he will rest in peace. We then hear from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who says that The Undertaker's ass belongs to him, and that's the bottom line.

"Bombastic" Bob Holly beats Dick Togo.

We hear from "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who warns The Rock that he crossed the line on Raw, and at SummerSlam, it will strictly be between Triple H and The Rock. Not only is the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line, so is "The Rock's ass," and if there is anything left of The Rock when he is done, Chyna is going to own it.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Pitbulls (Pitbull #1 and Pitbull #2). (Interestingly, Anthony Durante, who is known as Pitbull #2, is called Pitbull #1 at the beginning of the match.)

We hear from "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who tells The Rock that he will make him his bitch at SummerSlam after how he crossed the line with Chyna on Raw, while The Rock says he will show Triple H why he is the best damn WWF Intercontinental Championship there ever was. We then hear from Owen Hart, who tells "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock that he has done it before and will do it again, and that he will be going down in the Lion's Den Match at SummerSlam. We then hear from Shamrock, who tells Owen that he is stepping into the Lion's Den - his world, his zone - and to knuckle up. Finally, we hear from The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). Billy Gunn has two words for Kane and Mankind: you lose. Road Dogg then says they have two more words for them: suck it.

D'Lo Brown beats Dustin Runnels.During the match, D'Lo Brown seems to tweak his knee, and as Dustin Runnels is helping im up, D'Lo hits the Sky High before hitting the Lo Down for the win.

The show ends with a short music video of WWF Superstars for AC/DC's Highway To Hell, the theme for this year's SummerSlam.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 13, 1998

RAW

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels starts the show in his first appearance since WrestleMania 14. He then guests on commentary for the show, saying it's good to be back and that nobody knows when he will get back in the ring. Kane, Paul Bearer and Mankind show up before The Undertaker and Vader square off, and watch from ringside.

The Undertaker beats Vader. After the match, Mankind is about to hit The Undertaker with a steel chair, but Kane takes it away from him. The Undertaker leaves the ring to get one of his own as Kane nails Vader, then Kane and Mankind leave. Edge is then seen in the crowd before the commercial break.

Charles Wey and Tyrone Wheaton of the New York Giants are seen in the front row.

"Bodacious" Bart Gunn beats "Bombastic" Bob Holly simply by landing more punches to continue on to the next round of the Brawl For All Tournament, with neither man attempting a takedown. Before the match, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler make a slight dig at Bash at the Beach, saying "The Mailman [Karl Malone] didn't deliver." At this point, the unofficial results just shows the score and do not show the points breakdown. Also, WWF referees are used for matches from this point forward. After the match, Bob Holly swipes at Bart Gunn, and both men have to be pulled apart.

The Nation ("The Rock" Rocky Maivia, Owen Hart, D'Lo Brown, "The Godfather" Kama Mustafa, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry) are backstage, unhappy about D-Generation X's ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, X-Pac, "Road Dog" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) parody of them from last week.

Jason Sensation, the Owen Hart impersonator from last week's parody of The Nation ("The Rock" Rocky Maivia, Owen Hart, D'Lo Brown, "The Godfather" Kama Mustafa, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, guests on commentary and imitates Owen Hart, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, The Undertaker, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Backstage, The Rock says he's flattered, but says nobody can ever be The People's Champ. The Godfather tells "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn that if he wants to be a pimp, he'll show him that "pimpin' ain't easy." (Author's note: that sounds familiar.) Mark Henry tells X-Pac he should be worried about his hands around his neck. D'Lo Brown tells "Road Dog" Jesse James he's not the one to mess with, and Owen Hart says that if Jason Sensation thinks he's funny, he'll slap the piss out of him. Jason Sensation continues to imitate Owen Hart to the point that he runs into the arena and slaps Jason Sensation before tossing him into the ring and putting him in the Sharpshooter. The rest of The Nation has to calm owen down, and D-Generation X's ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dog" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) to fight off The Nation.

We see footage from during the break where D-Generation X's ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dog" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) helps Jason Sensation to the back.

D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Helmsley and X-Pac) beat The Nation ("The Rock" Rocky Maivia and Owen Hart) after Chyna distracts the referee so that Triple H can nail The Rock with the European Championship.

Sable guests on commentary for the next match. She says that the bathing suit she will be wearing at Fully Loaded will make the suit she wore at the Slammy Awards look like an evening gown. Sable also she is not at liberty to discuss her professional relationship with WWF owner Vince McMahon which allowed her to return to the World Wrestling Federation.

"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman beats "Marvelous" Marc Mero. At one point in the match, Jacqueline confronts Sable at commentary, allowing Mero to hit Blackman with a low blow as referee Jimmy Korderas is trying to keep them apart. Jacqueline tries to hit a splash on Blackman, but Sable crotches her on the top rope and Blackman is able to recover.

WAR ZONE

The Undertaker shows up before the next match and watches from ringside.

Kane and Mankind beat The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) to become the WWF Tag Team Champions. "The Rock" Rocky Maivia and Owen Hart show up during the match and watch from the entrance ramp, but "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac show up and attack them from behind. The ensuing brouhaha distracts referee Tim White, allowing D'Lo Brown to show up from out of the crowd and hit Road Dog with a frog splash from the top as "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry also shows up, allowing Kane to hit Road Dog with a Tombstone Piledriver for the win as referees and officials try to break up the ringside brawls.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley asks WWF owner Vince McMahon for a tag team title re-match and even makes the case for Vince being special guest referee. Vince tells Triple H that he knows The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) were screwed out of the tag team titles, and that he will give it some thought.

Kaientai (Dick Togo, Men's Teioh, Sho Funaki) beat Taka Michinoku and Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and "Too Hot" Scott Taylor) after some miscommunication between Taka and Taylor. After the match, Christopher attacks Taka and tosses him out of the ring. Val Venis then shows up and tells Yamaguchi-san last week, while Kaientai came out and attacked him from behind and he slapped him across the face, he realized two things: he was wrong and that no man should ever mess with another man's wife. With that in mind, he offers him his most deepest, sincere apologies, and to show exactly how sincere he is, he offers him a special viewing of his latest video entitled "Land of the Rising Venis." The sexual acts are mosaic blurred, and then it is revealed that he slept with Yamaguchi-san's wife. Venis tells him that when they get a taste of "The Big Valbowski," they never, ever come back. Yamaguchi-san is distraught.

WWF owner Vince McMahon shows up. He introduces "the most demonic, twisted soul in the history of the WWF," The Undertaker. Vince asks what The Undertaker won't do to become WWF Champion, mentioning what he did to Mankind at King of the Ring and choke slamming nearly every WWF Superstar into oblivion before disguising himself as Kane and fooling everyone, including himself. Vince says that The Undertaker had to have had some help from his brother Kane, and refuses to answer everyone who has asked about. Vince says that he won't refuse to answer him, however, and asks The Undertaker if he is in cahoots with his brother Kane. The Undertaker tells Vince that if he wants an answer, he can go to Hell. Vince asks The Undertaker who he thinks he is, then "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up. Austin tells Vince that The Undertaker told him to go to Hell, and to spin around so he can kick him in the ass and give him a head-start. As far as The Undertaker goes, at least he had the decency to challenge him face-to-face like a man, and that he can respect that, but the problem is that they are tag team partners at Fully Loaded against Kane and Mankind. He wants to know if it's the two of them against two opponents, or if it will be him against three opponents, and he wants to know where The Undertaker is coming from. The Undertaker tells Austin to go to Hell with him. Suddenly, D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, X-Pac, "Road Dog" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) shows up. Triple H says everyone is looking for answers, then calls Austin and The Undertaker "the two toughest S.O.B.s in the business today," before saying that Road Dog and Billy Gunn will get their rematch and that Vince will find out if The Undertaker and Kane are in cahoots. Triple H then demands three referees for the tag team title rematch: one on the inside, and two special guest enforcers on the outside: Austin and The Undertaker. Vince gives them the tag team rematch without hesitation, then DX tells Vince to suck it.

Dan "The Beast" Severn beats "The Godfather" Kama Mustafa by scoring more points to continue on to the next round in the Brawl For All Tournament. The fans are heard booing at the end of the match.

Before the next match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up with a cooler full of cans of beer.

. During the match, Mankind is whipped into referee Mike Chioda, knocking him out. "Stone Cold" Steve AUstin tries to make a pinfall with Road Dog has Kane in a small package, but The Undertaker pulls him out of the ring and Kane hits Road Dog with a choke slam. The Undertaker makes the pin for Kane, but Austin interrupts the count. Kane hits Austin with a cheap shot as Austin confronts The Undertaker, then Kane and Mankind brawl with Austin and The Undertaker. The Nation ("The Rock" Rocky Maivia, Owen Hart, D'Lo Brown, "The Godfather" Kama Mustafa, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry) runs in, as does the rest of D-Generation X, ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dog" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), and The Nation and DX brawl in the ring along with the other four men as the show ends.

Vince's Got A Shotgun - Shotgun Saturday Night recap for June 7, 1997

Vince McMahon interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin face-to-face in the ring to start tonight's show. WWF referees and officials are in the ring to make sure that both Shawn and Austin do not go at it in the ring at any point in the interview. Austin tells Vince that his fist is about to collide with his face, and says he never asked to be Shawn's tag team partner, and that he wanted Brian Pillman at King of the Ring. After Austin tells Vince he does not have much to say to him, Shawn tells Austin he was put in the same position just like he was, and that he didn't ask to be Austin's partner, either. He has no problem wrestling him, but he wanted to face Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at King of the Ring, and says this is no dream for him. Austin vents his frustration over having to save Shawn during tag team matches, and says that Shawn will get his ass kicked this Sunday. Shawn says his ass has been kicked plenty of times, and tells Austin that when he pulls his foot out of his ass, he should pull his head out along with it. He tells Austin that if he wants Pillman, he can just wait until Monday, and until then, he'll play him a little Sweet Chin Music. Austin says he won't be listening as he'll be too busy whipping his ass up and down the ring. Austin then says the interview is over, and he pretends to leave only to run back towards the commentary table and attack Pillman. Referees and officials have to pull Austin and Pillman off of each other, then Austin is escorted to the back.

Ahmed Johnson and Mankind beat Jerry "The King" Lawler and Hunter Hearst Helmsley after some miscommunication between Lawler and Helmsley after an accidental elbow drop on Lawler as Helmsley tries to break a pinfall leads to Chyna punching Lawler in the face as Lawler grabs at Helmsley's hair while Helmsley leaves.

We see a video package for Faarooq vs. The Undertaker for the WWF Championship at King of the Ring.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog beat "Double J" Jesse James and Bob Holly. During the match, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart are seen watching the match from the back before heading out and making their way to the ringside area. Later on in the match, Hart and Neidhart surround Jesse James, and Hart attacks him with one of his crutches as he tries to get back in the ring.

Blackjack Bradshaw beats Phillip LaFon. After the match, LaFon tries to convince the referee that his foot was on the rope, as does Doug Furnas, who shows up. Furnas and LaFon then attack Bradshaw until Blackjack Windham runs into the ring, causing Furnas and LaFon to flee.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start tonight's show, as does "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. When Jim Ross asks them if they can co-exist long enough tonight to win the tag team titles, it becomes apparent that they don't like each other, but at the same time they will kick some ass. Suddenly, The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) show up for their match and desire a tag team title shot if they win. Both Austin and Shawn agree, then The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman) show up, and Bret Hart is finally standing upright without the aid of crutches.

The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Hart Foundation (Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and "The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman, who finally has his first match on Raw) by disqualification after Owen Hart and The British Bulldog interfere. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels show up together to clean house, but when Shawn goes after the Foundation, Austin confronts Shawn and the two of them fight one another yet again, and officials have to break up the brawl.

In Episode 3 of Sunny's Search and Soak Mission, The Honky Tonk Man gets soaked with the Super Soaker CPS 2000.

Paul Bearer is backstage, and we can finally see half of his face. It is noted that his hair is red and his facial hair is notably absent. He says that he has all the bases covered ashis attorney has a key to the safe deposit box that holds his secret, and only his attorney can open that box. He says that whatever happens, the secret will be revealed one way or another before the end of the night. He says that he is a different Paul Bearer, and either the secret comes out or The Undertaker joins him.

Faarooq guests on commentary for the next match.

D'Lo Brown - who appears for the first time on Raw in wrestling gear instead of behind a suit as a member of The Nation of Domination - beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly.

The Undertaker knows he has to make a decision that could affect the rest of his life in an hour's time, and is not even worried about Faarooq.

Jerry "The King" Lawler says Goldust has an identity crisis, and says Dusty Rhodes doesn't love him anymore because he married the biggest gold-digger in Georgia before wearing a woman's wig and "kissing men like a flamin' fag." He tells Goldust to bring Marlena and Dakota with him, as tears will be running down their faces when he's done with them. He also says that Dakota should have been named "Target," as "everyone had a shot at it" last week.

Jerry "The King" Lawler beats Goldust to continue to the second round of the King of the Ring Tournament after putting his feet on the ropes for leverage. After the amtch, Goldust continues to fight Lawler on the ramp, and Lawler rolls down to the ring after a slap from Goldust. Marlena steps on Lawler's gut as she and Goldust leave.

Rocky Maivia beats Flash Funk. During the match, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) guest on commentary with King of the Ring inflatable chairs, popcorn, cotton candy and their own music, but it isn't long before they interfere in the match. Amazingly, no disqualification takes place, and The Headbangers' interference gives Rocky the win. Flash Funk tells Rocky what happened, and both men show respect after the match.

We see more of the interview with Mankind. We learn that he played lacrosse in high school, where he played as a goalie...without protective gear. One May morning, he got hit in the testicles during a game, and even though it was supposed to be three weeks before he could return to school, he went back the next day even though the swelling had not gone down. He remembers this as the only time girls looked at his genital region, which he considers his greatest day in his high school days.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart appears on the TitanTron with the rest of The Hart Foundation (Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman). He says that at King of the Ring, it will be an untamed world, like a lion ripping into an antelope. He tells "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels he's got what he wanted, but promises that all he needs is ten minute to beat Shawn's face to a pulp, as Shawn will find out how real he is. Pillman tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin he knows everything about him, and that he hates his guts. He plans to pull his head out of his ass at King of the Hart so he can clearly see that he is the king of Austin's pathetic world. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog plan to expose Austin and Shawn as the losers that they are, especially when they can't get along.

The intro to the show is replayed to signify the start of the second hour.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock guests on commentary for the next match.

Ahmed Johnson beats Vader. Before the next match, it is announced that Ahmed Johnson's semi-final slot in the King of the Ring tournament is on the line in this match.

It is announced that news on why Brian Pillman isn't a full-fledged member of The Hard Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Pillman) as well as whether or not there is dissent - and new members on the way - in The Nation of Domination on The Ross Report on Option 3 of the WWF Superstar Line.

Paul Bearer is backstage. He says that he has had a secret on his conscience for so long, and in a few words, he will bring him to his knees like no giant, warrior or immortal could do.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Rockabilly after Chyna stops The Honky Tonk Man from using his guitar as a weapon and scoop slams him outside of the ring.

The Undertaker says that sometimes in live, we have to make decisions we don't want to, but have to. He tells Paul Bearer to do what he has to do, and in turn, he will do what he himself has to do.

We see part two of the interview with Mankind. He talks about how he hitch-hiked to the match between "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and Don "The Rock" Muraco in a steel cage in October 17, 1983 in Madison Square Garden, and realized what he wanted to do with his life when Snuka dove off the top of the cage. This led to him creating an alter-ego in high school, and made a movie of himself when he was 18 as a form of escape. He says he met "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, who asked him if he always envisioned himself in this way. During this time, he was not Mick Foley, nor was he Mankind. Instead, he was "Dude Love." We see portions of this homemade movie, including one where he dove off the roof of his friend's house's roof. The video ended up in the hands of Dominic DeNucci, who took him under his week and trained him to wrestle every weekend for two years, with Mankind traveling 800 miles round-trip and eating and sleeping in the back of his 1979 Ford Fairmont during these training sessions as he tried to realize his dreams. This led to him becoming "Cactus Jack," which was supposed to last for only three months but ended up staying for eleven years.

It is announced before the next match that The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) will officially face Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the WWF Tag Team Championships next week should Shawn and Austin win.

In what is "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' first match in four months, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin beat Owen Hart and The British Bulldog to become the WWF Tag Team Champions! During the match, The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) are seen watching the match from the back. After the match, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and Brian Pillman rush into the ring and attack Shawn while Austin makes a beeline for Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Austin is able to make it to the back before Bret's comrades can attack him, too.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels still can't get along even after winning the WWF Tag Team Championships, and start arguing when Austin says he won the titles by himself.

Paul Bearer shows up, and is interviewed by Vince McMahon. He tells The Undertaker that his time is up, and says Brother Love didn't bring him to the WWF off the streets. He has known The Undertaker for many, many years. He then reveals that he was the mortician and funeral director when The Undertaker's parents' caskets were lowered. He then reveals that there were three graves prepared that day. As he is about to elaborate, The Undertaker immediately makes his way to the ring and tells Bearer he hates him with all that he is. He loathes and despises him for what he is about to do tonight, and although the hounds of Hell may bay at the secret Bearer's attorney will reveal, Bearer won't be able to, and he only hopes the ones that love him and have loved him in the past will be able to forgive him. He then grabs Bearer by the throat, and Bearer begs for merc. The Undertaker lets him go, then rejoins Paul Bearer.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog beat Barry Horowitz and Bob "Spark Plug" Holly.

A picture of a bloodied Vader on the cover and hot photos of Sable can be seen in the newest issue of Raw Magazine, available on newsstands this Tuesday.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Honky Tonk Man in the ring. Honky says that when someone like "Double J" Jesse Jackson takes his prized Gibson guitar and breaks it, it hurts him real bad. He says that the things have been happening in the WWF are hurting him real bad, but he has a boxcar load of shiny new guitars and he can promise everyone that on April 20th at In Your House, he will have his man there, and he can promise everyone that the hits are just going to keep on coming. He says that all you have to do is line them up, and he and his protege will knock them down, as he has "the rockin' pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu" and his man will shake, rattle and roll.

Bart Gunn vs. Leif Cassidy ends in a no-contest when Mankind runs into the ring and applies the Mandible Claw to Bart Gunn. Just before this, Brian Pillman leaves the commentary to agitate Bart Gunn and Leif Cassidy but is unsuccessful.

It's time for Sunny Undercover. Sunny says the hottest thing going in the WWF is the reconciliation of The British Bulldog, Owen Hart and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and that these three men want nothing more than to monopolize the championship gold of the WWF. They already have the European and tag team gold, but Bret plans on taking his frustrations out on Rocky Maivia and win the Intercontinental Championship for the third time. She also says that "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is fair game for all the WWF Superstars after his actions at WrestleMania 13, but that it may be a "Beast" and not a Superstar that may beat Shamrock at his own game. Sunny then recaps Mankind burning The Undertaker with a fireball, and asks if The Undertaker could be horribly disfigured after his face was not seen during a recent interview. She also wants to know what is going on with Jim Cornetete, who is keeping a low profile after splitting with Owen Hart and The British Bulldog and trying to manage another tag team. She says that if Jim Cornette can't take Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon to the top of the tag team division, then she will be back and ringside and taking them to the tag team titles herself.

Mankind beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly with the Mandible Claw. After the match, Kevin Kelly interviews Mankind and Paul Bearer in the ring, and when asked if he is ashamed of how he betrayed The Undertaker last week, Paul Bearer grabs Kevin Kelly by the jacket collar and asks him who he is to stick his nose in their business before bullying him out of the ring and celebrating what he and Mankind did to The Undertaker. Mankind tells Paul Bearer to imagine how he felt when the three-count was made and The Undertaker became WWF Champion, as in his mind and soul, he knew he was the better man. Mankind feels no remorse, and says that it made him happy to smell his burning flesh, because he remembers the time that he was escorted off an airplane by military police because his skin was melting off his face after a wrestling match. He then says he has no sympathy for what he will do to The Undertaker, because it has already happened to him, and at In Your House, The Undertaker may be the cream of the crop, but there is a filthy pond near his house and sometimes the scum rises to. He says The Undertaker will know what it is like to walk in his shoes while he gets to know the love of the fans when he walks out as WWF Champion.

Sycho Sid beats Jerry Fox. After the match, The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) show up and stare at Sycho Sid from the stage. Suddenly, they approach the ring, and Sid dares them to get in the ring. It is then that The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) show up from out of the crowd and get in the ring, and The Hart Foundation turn around and head to the back.

Los Cadetes de Espacio (Discovery, Ludxor, Super Nova and Venum) beat Abismo Negro, El Mosco, Histeria and Maniaco.

Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon beat "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya and R.T. Williams. During the match, Jim Cornette shows up and takes notes on the match.

It's time for Sunny Undercover. On the subject of Mankind having anything up his sleeve for In Your House, a reliable source tells her that he does. She also reports that The Honky Tonk Man has a new protege to replace "Double J" Jesse James, who turned him down, and that this person has been a champion in WWF before. She also recaps Rocky Johnson fighting alongside Rocky Maivia, and says Rocky Maivia will be hit with a second shocker, then asks what Tony Atlas was doing watching the match from ringside. Sunny then reports that The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) will continue to grow, and by summer's end, they will be a foursome to be reckoned with. As for the identity of the fourth member, that person may not necessarily be a wrestler or even a man, and that sunny days may be ahead for The Hart Foundation.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog show up. Owen says a lot of people have been talking about his match with The Bulldog for the European Championship. He admits that Bulldog beat him for the title fair and square, and says he could have beaten him to win the title if he wanted to. He tells Bulldog they have to focus on the future and their WWF tag team title match against Mankind and Vader, who don't have what they have in the form of teamwork. Owen says Mankind is unpredictable and that Vader is a mountain of a man, but they don't have what they have. Bulldog says he beat Owen fair and square, and the people know it. He says there is no animosity between himself and Owen, and that they are the best tag team champs going to day. They don't care about Mankind or Vader, as they will beat them, and admits they can't make them look any uglier than they already are. Bulldog promises he and Owen will walk out with the tag titles at WrestleMania 13.

Flash Funk beats Bert Centeno.

Thursday Raw Thursday - Raw recap for February 13, 1997

It is announced at the start of the show that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels will forfeit the WWF Championship tonight, and that the winner of the Final Four match this Sunday will become the WWF Champion.

Rocky Maivia beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley with a surprise inside cradle to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship, earning Rocky his very first WWF title. The Honky Tonk Man shows up in the middle of the match to guest on commentary. Dok Hendrix interviews Rocky after the match, who says that he will give the best that he can give. He thanks his entire family, and tells them he will make them and all of the fans proud.

Sunny returns for the first time in quite some time, and is special guest ring announcer for the next match.

The debuting Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat Bob "Spark Plug" Holly and "The Portuguese Man O' War" Aldo Montoya.

Vince McMahon introduces WWF President Gorilla Monsoon, who is already in the ring, before introducing "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. We learn that Shawn is facing a knee operation. Shawn feels like he's done this before, but this time, it is much more serious than it was last time as he has never had a doctor look him in the face and tell him that he may never wrestle again. He was told that yesterday, and while it is something he may not want to believe, it is something he has to deal with as he admits that his body has taken a toll through the years. He admits he can't do anything halfway, and says that all he's ever wanted is the fans to have a good time as the performance he puts on every night is the most important thing. He knows there has been talk of people with bad attitudes and talk revolving around the WWF Championship, and says that he will not be revolving the title for a long time is himself. He has no idea where he is at right now, as he may be beyond reconstructive knee surgery and may not be able to fix it, but if he cannot perform at the same level he did before the surgery, then he simply can't perform. He says he took on a heavy schedule as he felt he could not say no and because he wanted to enjoy life as a WWF Champion, and he got to do everything, which will stick with him. For now, toughness is big in the World Wrestling Federation, and all he has right now is tears, sorrow and emotion. He hands the WWF Championship to Monsoon, and says he will head back home and see what's left for him. He says he has lost a lot of things over the past few months, one of them being his smile, which means a lot to him. He says he has to go back and fix himself and take care of himself as he tries to find his smile again. Tears stream down his face as he says this is all he wanted to do, and that last year was the most wonderful year of his life. If he never does it again, he's okay with it, as he spent a year as the top guy in the WWF. He thanks Vince McMahon and the fans for everything, and says that he is heading home. Vince and Monsoon hug Shawn, then Shawn leaves the ring to shake hands with everyone in the front row and eventually shakes hands with Jim Ross.

The Undertaker beats Savio Vega, then fights off the rest of The Nation of Domination after the match. Crush and Faarooq rush in and attack The Undertaker, then Ahmed Johnson jumps in to even the odds. Eventually, The Nation focuses all their efforts on Ahmed, and The Undertaker gets back up and pulls The Nation off Ahmed Johnson.

Dok Hendrix interviews WWF President Gorilla Monsoon, who says that he did what was fair to everyone concerned in the Final Four match. He says that nobody wants someone to be injured to the point of forfeiting the WWF Championship, but sees it as a golden opportunity to crown a new champion. He also announces that Sycho Sid will still get his title shot promised to him next Monday night on Raw against whoever is WWF Champion.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Sycho Sid by disqualification when Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up and attacks Austin. Sid then brawls with Hart, and officials have to separate both men.

Vader says that nobody else in the WWF in the last six weeks has beaten The Undertaker and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on two separate occasions as well as beat Bret "The Hit Man" Hart on Raw.

Jerry "The King" Lawler fills out a Western Union money order to send money to his mother at the broadcast booth.

The Nation of Domination (Faarooq and Crush) beat Owen Hart and The British Bulldog by count-out. Owen Hart's knee is hurt near the end of the match, and he can do nothing to save The British Bulldog from a double-team by Faarooq and Crush. During the match, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart says that he finds it saddening that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels may not come back to the ring, and that nobody worked harder than Shawn. He doesn't think it's over for Shawn yet, and that he may come back sometime down the line. He hopes that things work out for Shawn Michaels. As for his match with Vader tonight, he says that wrestling Vader is like facing a cement truck as he has always been tough, but he is more than confident enough to think that he can beat him.

Before the next match, The Undertaker says that there seems to be a problem with respect and that he doesn't get it anymore. He tells them that in four days' time, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Vader and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be staring at the eyes of the reaper, and that all three of them will rest in peace at In Your House: Final Four. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin attacks Bret Hart just before the commercial break.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Vader. Near the end of the match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen on the balcony, bad-mouthing Bret Hart as Vader goes for the top rope moonsault and misses, allowing Hart to get the win. Officials have to stop Austin from jumping over the guardrail to get at Bret.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 18, 1996

Jim Ross is on commentary this week, now as a neutral commentator, as his heel turn is suddenly dropped without explanation.

Mankind attacks "Stone Cold" Steve Austin before their match even starts, and officials have to get both men in the ring so that it can finally begin.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Mankind by disqualification after The Executioner interferes. The Undertaker shows up to make the save, but Austin clotheslines The Undertaker only for 'Taker to land on his feet. When 'Taker gets back in the ring, Austin retreats to the back.

The encore of Survivor Series is tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central on pay-per-view!

Ahmed Johnson is seen walking down the stairs in the crowd, and he sits high atop the crowd to watch the next match from afar as Sunny arrives to introduce someone who is a dear friend of hers: Faarooq Asaad. Faarooq, Clarence Mason and the hip-hoppers show up, and Faarooq is seen carrying a 2x4 in his hands. The hip-hoppers kneel and raise their fist while Faarooq faces them and raises his. Sunny guests on commentary for the next match

Faarooq Asaad - now known as just Faarooq - beats Savio Vega after his hip-hop entourage attacks Vega with the 2x4 as Faarooq distracts the referee. After the match, Ahmed Johnson charges into ringside and attacks the hip-hoppers before chasing Faarooq out of the ring. Ahmed Johnson then calls out Faarooq, telling him that he will pay for putting him on the shelf for several months before starting a "You're going down!" chant.

Sunny beats Bob Baclund to continue to the next round of the Karate Fighters Holiday Tournament.

It is announced that Jose Lothario refused medical attention after the events of last night, as Vince McMahon states that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels may be hated, but is a man's man for showing enough compassion to check on Lothario than worry about the championship.

Captain Lou Albano shows up for the next match to guest on commentary at the Spanish commentary table.

Clarence Mason, The British Bulldog and Owen Hart say that they are impressed with Doug Furnas and Philip LaFon, but tell them that they won't win next time and that they'll have to work to get a title shot against them.

Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon beat Leif Cassidy and Bob "Spark Plug" Holly. It is announced that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart will take on his brother Owen Hart next week.

Sid says he will become a fighting champion. He tells Bret "The Hit Man" Hart he will end his comeback at In Your House.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin says all Vince McMahon does is apologize...something he won't do as he turns the heat higher and higher. He knows Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is in the building, after he's through with Bob "Spark Plug" Holly, he'll put Bret in the Sharpshooter as they don't have to wait six days until their match at Madison Square Garden.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels after Shawn accidentally hits Sid with Sweet Chin Music. Shawn is knocked out cold next to Sid by Owen and Bulldog after the match.

Kevin Kelly announces that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Sycho Sid fought each other in the back. Both men are in separate locker rooms, but Kevin Kelly is staying backstage to get interviews from both men.

Confirmed for Survivor Series is a Traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series match: the team of Faarooq, Vader, "Diesel," "Razor Ramon) vs. the team of Savio Vega, Yokozuna, the debuting Flash Funk and a mystery partner, who is rumored to be a big-time superstar. There is also another 4-on-4 match in that vein: The team of The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn), Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon vs the team of Owen Hart, The British Bulldog and The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy).

Kevin Kelly says that Sycho Sid is very intense, but he told him he has a lot of things to say.

Mankind beats Freddie Joe Floyd with the Mandible Claw. The Undertaker's theme plays as the cage with the upside-down effigy of Paul Bearer descends from the ceiling. The Undertaker decrees that a new era of darkness begins Sunday, and all that there to expect is the unexpected. He tells Paul Bearer this is only the beginning of his torture and torment, and that he, Mankind and The Executioner will never rest in peace.

Killer Kowalski and The Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy and "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) are official inductees into the 1996 WWE Hall of Fame Class.

We get our first look at the soon-to-debut Rocky Maivia, the WWF's first-ever third-generation Superstar. We also see him induct his father Rocky Johnson into the Cauliflower Alley Club. The Rock says he wants to make his own name in the WWF by getting by on his wrestling style and ability, not his family name. Five years from now, we wants to tell himself he gave 110% effort at everything he did and became the best at it.

Kevin Kelly says that Sycho Sid is out of his locker room...and he's not happy...

Kevin Kelly interviews Sycho Sid backstage. Sid doesn't care if "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels made a mistake in the tag team title match tonight. He says there will be no mistake at Survivor Series, as that will be the end of the reign of Shawn Michaels. He says Shawn will step off the mountain while he will step above, and no man will cast a stone to knock him down for he is the master and the ruler of the world.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin tells Vince McMahon that all he does is run his mouth. He tells Bob "Spark Plug" Holly he's going to get a wrestling lesson, and it won't last long. He tells Bret "The Hit Man" Hart that he'd better be watching and that he'd better be prepared for Survivior Series, because it is the most important match of his life. He tells Hart that pleasing so many people will get him in trouble. He tells Bret he'd better keep watching, as he'll eventually find him and that they won't have to wait until Survivior Series.

Sable beats Dok Hendrix in the Karate Fights Holiday Tournament to go on to to the next round.

Kevin Kelly interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. He says he and Sycho Sid have always had conflicting personalities, and this is truer than ever. Everyone wants to knock him down off his perch, but he's kicked them in their teeth so far. He says tonight was a mistake, but he still knocked him out colder than a block of ice. He asks Sid what he's going to do at Survivor Series when he hits Sweet Chin Music for real from anywhere. He doesn't care if anybody likes him or not now. He wants Sid's respect, and if he has to beat it out of him, he'll do it.

Jim Ross guests on commentary for the next match.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly. During the match, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is observed watching the match from backstage. It is also announced that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will take on Vader next week. Also, Bret Hart will be live and in person at C&M Variety in Brooklyn, New York from 6 to 9 PM this Thursday night. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin then approaches Bret Hart's locker room only to say that he's not going to beat Hart up for free, before saying that someone is stealing his lines and that this is indeed the match of the decade (a shot at WCW for calling "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper" the match of the decade). He tells Hart it wil be the end of his legend in one week.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 16, 1996

Jake Roberts chases Jerry "The King" Lawler to the back before the first match of the night. However, Lawler comes back with Bob Backlund, The Iron Sheik and...The Sultan, who is making his debut on Raw. (It is revealed when the match begins that The Sultan was captured in the Middle East and had his tongue cut out for refusing to talk while being interrogated by the enemy. In reality, this is Fatu in a mask.)

The Sultan beats Jake "The Snake" Roberts with the Camel Clutch after Jerry "The King" Lawler tosses a vial of alcohol into the ring, distracting Roberts.

Owen Hart and Brian Pillman hype up the interview with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at In Your House: Mind Games. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and says he's going to get his answers as to when Hart is coming back.

Sunny unleashes a large poster of herself to give the gentlemen in the audience something "a little larger than life."

Bob "Spark Plug" Holly and Alex "The Pug" Porteau gets an upset win on The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) after the distraction from Camp Cornette (Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim Cornette), as Owen celebrates early on the apron with a bottle of wine, allowing Porteau to roll up Billy Gunn with a schoolboy. During the match, Jim Ross reveals that Diesel and Razor Ramon are returning live on Raw next week. Also, Camp Cornette showed up to watch the match from up close and also ruin the match for the Gunns.

WWF President Gorilla Monsoon says his attention concerning the return of Diesel and Razor Ramon piqued. He says that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall will not be returning as they are currently under contract with another organization (making this the first time that Diesel and Razor Ramon's real names are uttered on WWF programming). He apologizes to everyone who feel they have been hoodwinked or misled by Jim Ross' statements, and says that he will remain in the studio for the rest of the program to make sure no other misleading statements made, and that he will invoke his presidential privilege to come down swiftly on the perpetrator if they are. (A metallic clang is heard as Monsoon is speaking, and it is revealed that Jim Ross has left the commentary table in disgust.) After Jim Ross leaves, we see that Jerry "The King" Lawler is interviewing Jim Cornette and Vader. Cornette says he has a lot on his plate, and finds it preposterous that the WWF put him in the ring with Jose Lothario. He says that Vader has taught him wrestling and how to unleash the beast in him so he can be ready for Lothario at In Your House: Mind Games. We then see a young competitor named Tony Williams, who will be Cornette's "partner" in his "public workout." He says that this will be the first time the crowd will see a real man like him in competition. We see Cornette do an arm bar and a headlock, but Tony Williams is able to keep up with him and reverse his moves, much to Lawler's chagrin. Tony Williams manages to make some headway with Cornette, however, and Cornette ties him up on the ropes before slapping and berating him.

Jim Ross is back on commentary for the next match, insisting he had no intention of hoodwinking or misleading anybody. Also, Pat Patterson guests on commentary for the next match as it is announced that Patterson will be special guest referee for the finals of the Intercontinental Championship tournament that take place next week. WWF President Gorilla Monsoon also interjects himself into commentary during the match, saying that nothing has come across his desk concerning the return of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall as Jim Ross insists that Diesel and Razor Ramon will return next week and continues to stand by his story and his sources.

"Wildman" Marc Mero beats Owen Hart with his own cast behind the referee's back to continue to the finals of the Intercontinental Championship next week.

We see footage of the South African tour, as well as what could be Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's final performance in the WWF. We see footage of Hart calling Brian Pillman a liar, saying he made no commitment to have an interview with him at In Your House, and calls his brother Owen Hart as bad a liar as Owen, and tells Owen not to speak to him anymore. He says the fans are wondering how he's doing, and says he doesn't know exactly what it is he wants to do quite yet. It is then announced that Brian Pillman will be on Livewire to answer a lot of questions this Saturday on Livewire, which is premiering this weekend.

Faarooq Asaad beats Sycho Sid by disqualification when Faarooq Asaad attacks Sid with a chair as Sunny runs interference only for Sid to kick out, and Sid counters by grabbing the chair and smacking Faarooq Asaad with it in full view of the referee. Faarooq Asaad continues to the finals of the Intercontinental Championship tournament next week. We see a message from Ahmed Johnson, where he tells Faarooq that he lit a forest fire after injuring him and that he will burn him up.

The Undertaker says he will never forget Goldust's name, as his name will be but the first of many to be destroyed on the way to Mankind and Paul Bearer. He tells Goldust this will be his final curtain and the premiere of the new Undertaker.

Paul Bearer tells "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels says he might be seeing him sweat from being in the boiler room, but Shawn will be sweating against Mankind at In Your House: Mind Games. Mankind ponders if taking the WWF Championship will make him a sexy boy, make the girls kiss him and whisper in his ear or if the women will run away in fear as he chokes himself with a rope.

Jim Ross says that Mankind is the most dangerous man to show up in the WWF, and that The Undertaker will be challenged like never before at King of the Ring. With that, Mankind vs. The Undertaker is set for King of the Ring.

Mankind beats Barry Horowitz with the Mandible Claw. Jim Ross then interviews Mankind in the ring, and Mankind hopes that The Undertaker will stand up and show just a little bit of pride or decide that there is no sense fighting a man who has nothing less to lose. He tells 'Taker he can't take his ear or teeth, because they're already gone. He then says that of all the things he's lost in life, he feels he's missed his mind the most, and at King of the Ring, The Undertaker will lose it all.

We see Goldust in his den of iniquity. Goldust claims that he saved Ahmed Johnson through "the breath of life," and that he didn't have it in his heart to let Ahmed Johnson die. It gave him great satisfaction, the same satisfaction one gets from eating chocolate. He wants to share that very taste with Ahmed. Goldust says he will retain the Intercontinental Championship at King of the Ring.

After the match, Vince McMahon interviews Clarence Mason via telephone, who accuses WWF President Gorilla Monsoon of assaulting him from behind as he was escorted to the back by Monsoon at In Your House: Beware of Dog.

Jenny Lee is the escort for Hunter Hearst Helmsley tonight, who happens to be very supportive of Hunter when Jerry "The King" Lawler asks her questions.

On Option 6 of the Superstar Line, Vince McMahon responds to "Billionaire Ted's" latest corporate raid.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley to continue to the second round of the King of the Ring Tournament. During the match, Vince McMahon mentions the current happenings of Razor Ramon and Diesel, who "intend to pawn themselves off as the stars they once were in the WWF and to furthermore perpetrate some sort of ruse that they're still representing the World Wrestling Federation while actually under contract to a rival organization." Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 1, 1996

Mankind beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly in his WWF debut with a submission hold that involves shoving his finger down Holly's esophagus. (Mankind also makes a habit of ripping his hair out and having a different theme play whenever he wins.)

We see the recap of the Hunter Hearst Helmsley-Marc Mero brawl from last night, where we find out that the name of Helmsley's escort from that night is Sable. She's sitting in the front row, ticket in hand, to see "Wildman" Marc Mero.

The encore for WrestleMania 12 is tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central.

The fans had the time of their lives at WrestleMania 12.

Marc Mero beats Isaac Yankem D.D.S. in his WWF debut. During the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley shows up and sits next to Sable, giving her a hard time. After the match, Helmsley tries to get away from Marc Mero, but Sable slaps Helmsley and jumps into Mero's arms. Helmsley is immediately held back when he goes into the crowd to go at Mero.

The Bodydonnas (Zip and Skip) beat Barry Horowitz and "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya with some interference from Sunny.

Bob Backlund is seen campaigning for United States President in the crowd.

We see more fans from the night of WrestleMania 12.

Vince McMahon interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in the ring. Shawn said he had plans in God's green earth, and now he has dance in God's blue heaven, and says that his title win last night was the biggest moment of his life. He thanks the fans for all their support. He says that there were times that he thought there was no way in the world to get back up, but thanks the fans for picking him back up. Next week, Michaels will be taking on Jerry "The King" Lawler, and that Diesel will be replacing Lawler on commentary in that match. Shawn says that we've all heard about Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and says that Bret made a believer out of him and that he will always be a champion in his eyes and the eyes of the WWF. He wants Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Bret's family and the fans to know that he promises to wear the WWF Championship with the honor, dignity and class that Bret did in the past. After telling Lawler he plans to send him back to his white castle next week, he tells Diesel that they made good friends, but they make better enemies, and that Diesel will be hearing some Sweet Chin Music at In Your House.

We see last week's video package of the Warrior, interspersed with young fans asking for "Rowdy" Roddy Piper to bring him back.

Diesel beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly. As Diesel is heading to the back, the lights go off. When they come back on, the Undertaker is in the ring. Diesel, noticing that 'Taker is in the ring, heads straight for it, but it goes dark again. When the lights come back on, The Undertaker has disappeared. The lights go dark a third time, then The Undertaker appears on the video wall. He says he hopes Diesel doesn't expect things to be that easy, and tells him that if Diesel wants to play mind games, he is the master. He then tells Diesel he will see him on the dark side.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart takes on Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels takes on The 1-2-3 Kid...next week on Raw.

Ahmed Johnson beats Shinobi. During the match, Vince McMahon interviews Goldust via telephone, who makes fun of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper through poem and says he wants to "play his bagpipe."

We hear from Mankind again. He says the most beautiful woman in the world is his mother, who he claims always understood him until she sent her away. He says that Mankind is suffering and in agony, and that the time has come to release that pain, which will be wonderful for him and not very wonderful for everyone else. He says he's coming home.

This past weekend on Superstars, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog beat Hakushi and Barry Horowitz to advance in the tag team tournament. Next week, The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy) take on The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) in another first-round matchup.

Vince McMahon interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in the ring. Shawn says that there is not a person in this building that has more respect for Bret than him, and that Bret is indeed the best there was and is, and possibly the best that ever will be, but he doesn't believe that Bret is the best there is because that title belongs to him. Bret says Shawn is one of the greatest wrestlers he's ever had the privilege of wrestling, and that the last five months have been the hardest of his own career, but he looks forward to getting in the ring with Shawn to show exactly why he's the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. He says it's not his job to beat Shawn, and as WWF Champion, it's Shawn's job to beat him. He has nothing but respect for him, but when the bell rings, he plans to hit Shawn with everything but the kitchen sink as he will be in the biggest dogfight in this life. Shawn says conditioning will play a big part in this match, and says Bret has had one tough opponent after another, but he's been holding his own lately, too. He tells The Hit Man that they do have a lot of respect for each other, but he's in the best shape of his life. As for Bret's condition, Bret compares himself to the Energizer Bunny. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper shows up, and says that he was listening to this interview and wanted to make sure the fans got a fair shake on every fight at WrestleMania 12, and says that you can't boo guys like Bret and Shawn. He says that March 31st is the night to fight, and if there's going to be a fight, there will be a winner. He then announces that Bret vs. Shawn at WrestleMania 12 will be a 60-minute Iron Man match. He tells both men to shake each other's hands now, as they'll be hating each other afterwards.

Yokozuna beats Owen Hart and The British Bulldog in a handicap match by disqualification after Vader attacks Yokozuna. Suddenly, Ahmed Johnson and Jake "The Snake" Roberts show up. Ahmed takes out Hart and Bulldog, then Ahamed and Roberts (the latter with his snake Revelations) force Vader to retreat.

"The Huckster" and "The Nacho Man" appear on "Larry Fling Live." Nacho says they left WWF because they were too old to wrestle and they couldn't keep up with the new generation. Huckster says their continuing careers are no charade. Billionaire Ted appears via satellite, and almost causes a ruckus when he says that if he's as overpaid as Huckster and Nacho Man, then maybe he should get in the ring like those "has-beens." The "has-beens" remark causes The Huckster to pull out a steel chair meant for Larry Fling, but Larry Flying pulls out a high heel to make him back off. When Huckster and Nacho are asked who will win their match at "WrestleMania," both of them say they will, causing Huckster to hit Nacho with the steel chair as well as a bunch of producers. Larry Fling has to keep the Huckster at bay with the high heel.

Raw Deal - Raw Recap for December 18, 1995

"Double J" Jeff Jarrett beats Fatu by disqualification after Ahmed Johnson attacks him just before Jarrett can put the Figure Four Leg Lock on Fatu, who has just hurt his shoulder. Ahmed lifts Fatu's hand, then helps him back to the back.

Dok Hendrix interviews Interim WWF President Gorilla Monsoon, who says Diesel will get his shot at the WWF Championship down the line. As for Jeff Jarrett, he will not be in the Royal Rumble match due to what he did to Ahmed Johnson last night, and that the two will battle at Royal Rumble. Names of participants in the Royal Rumble will be revealed this weekend on Superstars.

Goldust says that he is watching Razor Ramon's every move, and says they share a bond that is unbreakable, and that he wants to ooze machismo along with him.

It's time for The Brother Love Show. Brother Love's guest tonight is "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, who confesses that the Santa Claus who attacked Savio Vega is Xanta Claus, Santa's evil brother from the South Pole who steals presents, the newest member of The Million Dollar Corporation. He says that Xanta Claus will achieve victory after victory for him, and that 1996 will be the year of The Million Dollar Corporation as his money continues to pile up. He also says that 1996 will be the year of the Million Dollar Champion.

The Raw Bowl - which involves Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Sycho Sid, Kid, Gunns, Ramon, Vega comes to USA Network in two weeks on January 1, 1996 after a Christmas pre-emption (though a special presentation will be aired internationally). Also next week: Diesel vs. King Mabel! A special interview with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart.

Goldust and his bellhop shows up before the next match, and they watch Razor Ramon during his entrance. When he enters the ring, he gets Goldust glitter instead of the usual fireworks for his entrance. Yokozuna attacks Razor Ramon as he looks around for Goldust.

Razor Ramon retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship by count-out against Yokozuna when The Undertaker and Paul Bearer show up with the casket from last night's match, scaring Yokozuna and causing him to run to the back. During the match, Jerry "The King" Lawler says he has gotten his hands on the letter Goldust had delivered to Razor Ramon.

Dok Hendrix interviews Razor Ramon, who says that Goldust isn't wrong when he says he's hot and handsome, but tells Goldust that he likes women. He tells Goldust to do his thing, just not with him. He refuses to elaborate on the letter Goldust sent him, saying "it's not for children." Lawler, having revealed he had gotten his hands on the letter earlier, refuses to elaborate also, saying the letter embarrassed even him.

We see a video package of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels amid speculation that he may not return to the World Wrestling Federation.

Raw Deal - Raw recap from December 4, 1995

Sycho Sid tells Jannetty that he will have to get through him after attempting getting through The 1-2-3 Kid, and that Jannetty will answer to him. Marty Jannetty may not be the biggest or the baddest, but he plans to light Sid up tonight. Also, there may be bad news concerning "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' recovery...

The British Bulldog beats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly. After the match, Jerry "The King" Lawler calls out Bob Backlund from out of the crowd and interviews him. When Backlund finds out his match next week against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is not for the WWF Championship, Backlund goes insane, saying he wants to be God again and that he wants to "rule over the plebians and put them in the right frame of mind." The microphone has to be silenced as Backlund insists he keeps speaking as the show has to go to commercial break.

During the break, Bob Backlund finds out the microphone was cut off as he was speaking, and goes through the crowd to get to the sound engineer.

Fatu beats The Brooklyn Brawler. It is announced that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels will be interviewed next week. After the match, Bob Backlund finds the sound engineer and puts him in the Cross Face Chicken Wing. After this, it is announced that Diesel will face Owen Hart at In Your House.

Razor Ramon retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Dean Douglas.

Next week on Raw: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels speaks out for the first time since collapsing in the ring!

It's time for The Brother Love Show. Tonight's guest is King Mabel, who wears the chains made from The Undertaker's urn around his neck. Brother Love asks where Sir Mo is, and King Mabel says that's none of his business. Mabel gloats about being the first man to pin The Undertaker and also being the first to put him out of action, then says he will be the first man to stuff him in his own casket when he takes him on in a Casket Match at In Your House. Brother Love then tells King Mabel he has a surprise for him, and Mabel says he doesn't like surprises. The surprise is none other than a druid pushing a casket draped in black towards the ring. The druid then walks onto the apron, and the druid is none other than...Sir Mo. King Mabel thinks Sir Mo has been turned against him, until the black draping is removed from the casket to reveal that it is The Undertaker's casket. The casket has been vandalized with pro-King Mabel graffiti. King Mable loves this surprise, and tells The Undertaker there will be no love, only 568 pounds of pure hate.

Razor Ramon talks with Marty Jannetty backstage. Jannett asks Razor to watch for The Kid.

The 1-2-3 Kid runs into the crowd, and Razor runs after him. Sid then hits Jannetty with a massive power bomb before "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase shoves a $100 bill into Jannetty's mouth.

We see a interview with Dr. Jeffrey R. Unger, the personal physician of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. He says that Michaels' test results are abnormal, and that he doesn't know when Michaels will return to the WWF. He says that Michaels' post-concussion syndrome symptoms are due to brain damage, which isn't as resilient as the rest of Michaels. He then says that Michaels is not progressing very well neurologically, and that it may not be safe to go back to wrestling at all.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 18, 1995

1-2-3 Kid/Razor Ramon. During the match, Razor Ramon accidentally bumps The 1-2-3 Kid into the ref, knocking him down and allowing for Dean Douglas to hit Razor Ramon from the top rope and retreat. This allows The 1-2-3 Kid to win.

Dean Douglas makes fun of The 1-2-3 Kid, calling him dumb for thinking he could beat Razor Ramon. Speaking of Razor, he says he'll come out on top at In Your House.

The Million Dollar Corporation (Tatanka and Kama) beats Savio Vega and Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly.

Razor Ramon tells Dean Douglas he's got his attention, but school will be in his house and his Ivy League education won't save him.

WrestleMania 11: The Special will air on Fox on the night of Saturday, September 30th!

Jean-Pierre LaFitte beats Brian Walsh. During the match, Vince McMahon interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart says that Jean-Pierre LaFitte will be put in his place for his pirating ways.

Owen Hart and Yokozuna beat Men on a Mission (King Mabel and Sir Mo).

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Diesel say they will be WWF Tag Team Champions come Sunday night.

Vince McMahon interviews Jim Cornette, Mr. Fuji, Owen Hart and Yokozuna. Jim Cornette says that Yokozuna and Owen Hart will be leaving In Your House with all the gold, and implies that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Diesel's friendship will implode again at In Your House.

Sycho Sid says Bam Bam Bigelow is a slow learner and will earn his PhD. in pain, but Bam Bam Bigelow says he's gonna set Sid on fire.

Jerry "The King" Lawler is back on commentary.

The 1-2-3 Kid beats Mike Bell.

Ten lumberjacks have been confirmed for the WWF Championship Lumberjack Match at In Your House. Sid's side consists of Irwin R. Schyster, Kama, Eli Blu, Jacob Blu, and King Mabel. Diesel's side consists of Adam Bomb, Razor Ramon, Savio Vega, Billy Gunn and Bart Gunn.

Last week after Raw went off the air, "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Shawn Michaels went at it after Jarrett wanted to defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Michaels, and Michaels took him and The Roadie again. Now that match is official for In Your House. The 1-2-3 Kid will also be taking on The Roadie.

Owen Hart and Yokozuna will be defending the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Allied Powers (Lex Luger and The British Bulldog) at In Your House.

The music video for "With My Baby Tonight" by "Double J" Jeff Jarrett is re-aired.

Bob "Spark Plug" Holly beats The Brooklyn Brawler. During the match, it is mentioned that on the Superstar line that "The Million Dollar Man" has been trying to buy lumberjacks for Sid's side at In Your House, and that the WWF Superstar Hotline has info on who he's trying to recruit, which also involves some old friends.

The Allied Powers (Lex Luger and The British Bulldog) take on Tatanka and King Kong Bundy next week on Raw.

Henry O. Godwinn beats Barry Horowitz.

Barry Didinsky advertises the Bam Bam Bigelow, the Shawn Michels all-over shirt and the Adam Bomb shirt. The Bam Bam Bigelow shirt is $20 plus shipping and handling, and one size fits all. The Adam Bomb shirt comes with a free Adam Bomb blimp.

Before the next match, it is discovered that Henry Godwinn is still at ringside as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Sycho Sid make their entrance. After the break, Henry Godwinn keeps Bam Bam Bigelow from entering the ring. This starts a brawl between Bigelow and Godwinn that officials have to break up.

Sycho Sid beats Bam Bam Bigelow when Henry Godwinn knocks Bigelow off the top rope as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase distracts the referee. After the match, Sycho Sid hits Bigelow with a power bomb, then DiBiase and Godwinn join Sid in the ring as the crowd chants for Diesel.

This past weekend, WWF Superstars were at the 1995 Special Olympics World Games in New Haven, Connecticut.

Waylon Mercy beats Jeff Hardy with a sleepeer hold. During the match, it is announced that Henry Godwinn will take King Kong Bundy's place in next week's tag team match agains The Allied Powers (Lex Luger and The British Bulldog).

We finally see Dr. Isaac Yankem, DDS as Jerry "The King" Lawler sits in his office telling people about him.
