Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 8, 1999

RAW

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start tonight's show. Last week on SmackDown, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hit him in the face with the WWF Championship, and he does not like to get hit in the face with the WWF Championship. We see the footage of what happened on SmackDown again, then Austin calls Vince out. Vince shows up, saying it was a mistake, and Austin tells Vince to think really about what he is going to say about him as the fans in the arena are calling him an asshole, and he wants to know if he is a lying asshole or an honest asshole. Vince says everybody makes mistakes as the microphone cuts in and out, and Vince has to change his microphone. Austin hands him another microphone, then takes the one cutting in and out into the fans. Vince screams at Austin that that was a $10,000 microphone, and Austin tells Vince that if he raises his voice at him again, he'll toss him into the crowd just like that. Vince says that he does not appreciate being called an asshole, regardless of whether he is honest or not, and tells Austin that this was indeed an accident and that lightning can strike twice. Austin asks the crowd to give him a hell yeah if they want to see him beat Vince's ass, as he does not believe him, but Vince says he will prove that was not a mistake by making himself the special guest referee for the Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. Suddenly, The Rock shows up, and tells Vince that if he wants to be the special guest referee, then he smells what he is cooking and that it smells like the biggest pile of bullcrap he has ever seen. He admits he and Austin do not agree on much, but they do agree on never, ever trusting a roody poo candy ass. Vince's microphone starts acting up again, and Austin tosses it into the crowd before handing his mike to Vince. Vince says that if they do not believe that was an accident, then The Rock costing Austin the WWF Championship must be an accident and that it is an accident that Triple H is champion, too. Triple H shows up, and he says everyone is in agreement that all three men in the ring are a bunch of screw-ups who have made mistakes, but the only one who does not make mistakes is him, as he has beaten every one of them and there have been no mistakes or accidents about it, as he is that damn good. At Survivor Series, it will not make a difference if Vince is the special guest referee or if it is a Triple Threat Match, as he will walk out as WWF Champion. Triple H then tells Vince that if he gets in his face tonight, it will be the biggest mistake of his life. Austin says the only mistake being made is Triple H entering the ring at Survivor Series, as he is going to get his ass whipped.

Al Snow and Mankind are confronted backstage by The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) make fun of the Al Snow action figure controversy by saying that Head is a decapitated woman's head and that Al Snow is a serial killer. Referees and officlas have to separate both teams before it can get violent.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James says that it is said that Al Snow beats women and decapitates them, and that his action figure has been removed from Wal-Mart store shelves like they will remove the tag team titles from his and Mankind's waists.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat Al Snow and Mankind to win the WWF Tag Team Championships for the fifth time. During the match, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is both seen and heard backstage telling someone that if D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) get involved in anything else tonight, "it will be their ass." Later on in the match, Val Venis attacks Mankind at ringside, distracting referee Earl Hebner as Snow hits Road Dogg with the Snow Plow. Billy Gunn hits Snow with a steel chair and rolls Road Dogg on top of Snow, giving them the tag team titles once again.

Michael Cole interviews The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), who take the microphone away from Cole so that X-Pac can brag that he will beat The Rock's ass tonight while Triple H tells WWF Chairman Vince McMahon to stick his head in his ass as he moons him, and says that D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn) does what they want when they want. He says that if Vince has a problem with that, he can kiss his ass.

Kevin Kelly interviews Mankind and Al Snow. Snow says his mind is somewhere due to the action figure controversy, and says his mother gets calls about him all the time to the point that she is worried about him.

Before the next match, The Godfather offers his hos to Val Venis, saying they will toss his salad, pack his fudge, puff his fatty and call him daddy. Val Venis takes the hos, then turns around and gets a cheap shot on The Godfather.

The Godfather beats Val Venis by count-out after Mankind shows up and brawls with Val Venis into the crowd. After the match, the hos celebrate with referee Tim White.

Michael Hayes interviews Test and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, as well as WWF co-owners Shane and Linda McMahon. Linda is so happy and proud for both Test and Stephanie, and she welcomes Test into their family with open arms. Shane says that this marriage has his total blessing.

Lilian Garcia regretfully announces that Big Show's father, Paul Wight Sr., has passed away after a valiant battle with cancer over the weekend. Private services will be held this weekend, and the bell is tolled ten times in his memory. As everyone stands up, The Big Boss Man suddenly shows up after the sixth toll, and says they should not start the grieving process without him, as he has feelings too. It pains him that Big Show's father has passed away, and he reads a sympathy card. "With the deepest regrets and tears that are soaked, I'm sorry to hear your dad finally croaked. He lived a full life on his own terms, soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms. But if I can have a son as stupid as you, I'd wish for cancer so I could die, too. So be brave and be strong, get your life back on track, 'cause the old bastard's dead and he ain't never coming back."

Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle is coming to the World Wrestling Federation!

Edge, Christian and The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The British Bulldog and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs). The Mean Street Posse are seen wearing Minnesota Golden Gophers jerseys and ballcaps, as the Golden Gophers have gotten an upset win over the Penn State Nittany Lions with a last-minute field goal over the weekend. After the match, all eight men continue to brawl, and referees and officials have to restore order.

Triple H and WWF CHairman Vince McMahon are seen getting in each others' face backstage, with .

We see footage from earlier today where Chris Jericho is at Beaver Stadium at Penn State University, and says Penn State has not embarrassed themselves in the same way that WWF has done so by making a woman the Intercontinental Champion. He tells Chyna that if she has the balls - "and judging by how [she ]looks, [she] has two huge ones" - she will hand the Intercontinental Championship over to him and save herself a beating at his hands.

WAR ZONE

We see some footage of The Rock's photo shoot for People Magazine.

Before the next match, The Rock tells X-Pac that if he wants to come down the aisle with a can of Hansen's Energy Drink, he will take the can, dump out the contents and replace it with monkey piss, then turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass.

The Rock beats X-Pac. During the match, The Rock inadvertently hop tosses X-Pac over the guardrail and into referee Earl Hebner during a brawl in the crowd. X-Pac hits The Rock with a low blow and steel chair shot, but The Rock kics out as it takes a while for Hebner to get back into the ring. X-Pac goes for the X Factor, but The Rock hits a Rock Bottom to win the match. After the match, the rest of D-Generation X (Triple H, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) attack The Rock, and WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up after Triple H hits The Rock with a Pedigree. Vince tells Triple H that this is between the two of them and that he does not need Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. The rest of D-Generation X leaves the ring, and Vince says that Tripel H did not like it when he made himself the special guest referee for the WWF Championship Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series, and says he won't like what he has in store ronight. Tonight, Triple H will be defending the WWF Championship against Test, and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon will be special guest referee while he will be special guest timekeeper. Also, if D-Generation X comes within 50 feet of the ring, Triple H will be stripped of the WWF Championship and Test will win the title. An angry Triple H is about to fight Vince when The Rock gets back in the ring, hits Triple H with the Rock Buttom and hits him with The People's Elbow.

Backstage, D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) are frustrated with WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, and Road Dogg tells Triple H that if he is to beat Vince, he will have to outthink him.

Chyna and Miss Kitty show up. Chyna tells Chris Jericho that the worst thing he could do at Survivor Series is look across the ring and see him as just a woman. Suddenly, Stevie Richards shows up dressed like Elvis Presley trying to hit on her by singing horribly. Suddenly, Chris Jericho shows up and kicks Stevie Richards in the groin before tossing him out of the ring and shoving Miss Kitty. Chyna and Jericho go at it, and referees have to pull of them apart. Both Chyna and Jericho manages to escape their corners while being held back to go at it a few more times.

At a nearby bar, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) are seen watching the show when they get some female companionship.

Al Snow is seen calling him mom in the locker room, telling him what is going on considering the action figure comentary, and says he was unable to buy his action figure at Wal-Mart, but was able to buy a shotgun and live ammo. Mankind shows up, bearing gifts in the form of WWF The Music, Volume 4 as well as Head, who has not been seen in months.

Kane beats The Big Boss Man by disqualification after Prince Albert interferes as Tori watches the match on a monitor from backstage. Albert gets choke slammed, then The Big Boss mNa attacks Kane with his nightstick.

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) are still at the bar with the woman from earlier. The woman's boyfriend shows up and tells them to keep his hands off his girlfriend, then yanks her away.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) plot a way to outsmart Vince, saying that Vince cannot outsmart all of them at once.

Before the next match, Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) start speaking in trendy language, saying that they will beat The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly).

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) beats Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) when Grandmaster Sexay distracts referee Teddy Long.

Faarooq and Bradshaw (The Acolytes) watch the friends of the guy from earlier call them "fake wrasslers" and say they pretend to be tough. After the commercial break, they threaten to beat The Acolytes' asses, which does not fare very well for them at all as they and the guy from earlier all get destroyed. The girl they met follows them out of the bar, and Bradshaw says "No wonder Minnesota beat your ass!"

Triple H retains the WWF Championship by count-out. At the beginning of the match, special guest referee Shane McMahon makes two fast counts in an attempt to screw Triple H out of the WWF Championship, and special guest timekeeper Vince McMahon tosses Triple H back into the ring as soon as he comes out. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen watching the match on a monitor from backstage, as is The Rock. Later on in the match, Shane asks Vince how much time is left in the match as Triple H pins Test following a Pedigree, and Triple H attacks both of them mercilessly. Vince grabs the WWF Championship and smacks Triple H in the face with the WWF Championship before placing Test on top of Triple H and getting Shane to make the count. Triple H kicks out after all of this, and as Test goes up for a top rope elbow drop, "Road Dogg" Jesse James is on the TitanTron. He opens a door, where "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn and X-Pac are seen doing something to WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon. Vince, Shane and Test run to the back, and Triple H wins by count-out. After the match, Vince makes it to D-Generation X's (Triple H, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn) locker room, but the room is empty.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for November 29, 1998

Christian beats Duane Gill by disqualification after The Blue Meanie - from Extreme Championship Wrestling - shows up and attacks Christian. This starts a brawl between The J.O.B. Squad (Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio) and The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian). Duane Gill retains the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.

It is announced that there will be a guest color commentator later tonight.

D'Lo Brown beats "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman by count-out when The Blue Blazer shows up from underneath the ring only to get his cape caught on a bolt, leading Blackman to beat him up.

WWF owner Vince McMahon tells Sgt. Slaughter, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and Shane McMahon to "kiss their ass like you would kiss mine" regarding an expected guest for tonight.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly interviews The Oddities (Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva). Luna says that scum does seek its own level, and The Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope) are scum. If they want to be with The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh), then the four of them can take on The Oddities at Rock Bottom, as they have made a big mistake by making the freaks angry. Kurrgan goes on to say that being a freak isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Before the next match, The Godfather tells The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) that he would normally give them the offer between fighting him and one of the hos, but since Val Venis kept his hos up all night long, he is giving the hos the night off and kicking The Headbangers' asses. When Val Venis shows up, he is about to speak, but he is attacked from behind by The Headbangers.

The Godfather and Val Venis beat The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh). During the match, The Oddities (Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva) show up, and they provide a distraction that allows The Godfather to hit the Pimp Drop for the win. After the match, The Oddities and The Headbangers brawl, and The Headbangers are forced to retreat.

Backstage, The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) meet with WWF owner Vince McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Sgt. Slaughter and Shane McMahon in the skybox on business.

Michael Cole and Grand Master Robbie are in the Bop It Game Center. After George and Adam explain the rules of Bop It, , Al Snow and Head play the game, and Al Snow loses. Next week, The Oddities (Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva) will be in the Bop It Game Center.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) continue to speak with WWF owner Vince McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Sgt. Slaughter and Shane McMahon in the skybox concerning business, with Vince offering them a lot of money and Shane telling that "membership does have its privileges."

Before the next match, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry has a poem for Chyna: "Roses are red / violets are blue / you're strong and you're nice / and I am too / Your hair is like midnight / your eyes like stars / What you are to me is a superstar." He also says that he cannot wait until tomorrow night. He then grabs a copy of Raw Magazine from someone in the front row and looks through it for pictures of Chyna only to get blindsided by X-Pac.

X-Pac retains the WWF European Championship against a distracted "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry with an X-Factor from the top rope. After the match, Kevin Kelly interviews X-Pac, who says he has noticed that Mark Henry has been distracted by Chyna, and tells him that if he gets out of line with her, it will not only be his first date but also his last rites. When told that The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) are in the skybox with WWF owner Vince McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Sgt. Slaughter and Shane McMahon, he says that he hopes that they aren't "kissing ass." The Outlaws leave, and Vince is furious, thinking that eveyrone else in the room let slip that this meeting was happening.

In footage from yesterday, Jim Ross interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who says that WWF owner Vince McMahon's mandate that he cool off for 24 hours before re-appearing on WWF television is "a bunch of bullshit" and that it will not be enough to cool him down at all and that it will piss him off even more. He says that nobody should expect to hit him on the head with a shovel, drag him and try to embalm him alive without expecting payback, and when he shows up on Raw, he's going to beat somebody's ass.

In footage for WWF.com, we hear from The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. The Undertaker tells Austin that he has tempted fate far too many times, and he still does not get it. He says that Austin is looking for some kind of retribution, and that this will go far beyond retribution as he will be sacrificed for impeding the progress of his ministry. If Austin comes looking for him tomorrow, he will be waiting, for when he looks into his eyes, he will truly understand that Monday was the beginning of the end and that his soul will be sacrificed for the Ministry of Darkness tomorrow night. Paul Bearer tells Kane that he is a total idiot and that he showed it to the world. As his legal guardian, he has the authority to sign the papers in his hands. He warns Kane that if he steps one foot into the arena tomorrow night, he will have the orderlies there with the straitjacket to lock him up forever.

We see a black-and-white vignette of Jeff Jarrett talking about how baseball pisses him off.

Kane beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification. During the match, Debra McMichael gets in the ring and distracts Kane only for Kane to grab her by the throat. Jarrett gets in the ring with his guitar and smashes it into Kane's head, but it has no effect and Jarrett scrambles out of the ring and retreats.

The Rock guests on commentary for the next match.

The Corporation (The Big Boss Man and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock) beat Al Snow and Mankind after Mankind goes at it with The Rock at the commentary table. The Rock and Mankind continue to brawl after the match their way to the back as The J.O.B. Squad (Bob Holly, Duane Gill, 2 Cold Scorpio) and The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) brawl with each in the ring to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 23, 1998

RAW

WWF owners Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon come to the ring with Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter. Vince says he has nothing to do with The Undertaker attacking "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with a shovel last week, saying he does not lie and that when he guarantees something, the fans can take it to the back. In a moment, Vince will name a new WWF Commissioner, as what he and his family do is done for the fans. He admits they disagree sometimes, but everything they do, they do it for the fans. Vince tells the fans that Sgt. Slaughter has decided to graciously step aside to allow the World Wrestling Federation to advance, so it can have an independent, free-thinker at the helm who does not answer to him. This Commissioner will have full rights and privileges to treat every WWF Superstar with equality and dignity, with the only exception to the rule being "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, as Austin is his, and he will make all decisions as it pertains to him. He then introduces the new WWF Commissioner: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn shows up in a street clothes and a cowboy hat, and says "It looks like there's a new sheriff in town!" Shawn thanks Vince for the opportunity, and is thrilled to be back in the ring in one form or another. As a token of his appreciation and as the new Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation, he can be the one guaranteeing things around her and that things will never, ever be the same again. In an effort to add a little bit more "sizzle to tonight's steak," he then asks to book his first match, right here, right now. Tonight, the WWF Championship is one the line as The Rock will defend the title against X-Pac. He then asks for the DX music to be played, and Vince and companies realize they may have made a mistake.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Oddities (Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva), who have a rematch against The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) tonight. Violent J tells The Oddities he is ready, but Shaggy 2 Dope is not ready, and they are not ready as a team, telling The Oddities they are right and that they are not ready physically or mentally. He asks The Oddities to have his back in the match tonight. Luna says The Oddities can handle it, but they feel disappointed.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Oddities (Kurrgan and Golga). Before the match, it is announced that the newest issue of Raw Magazine is available tomorrow. During the match, Violent J gets on the apron, and Golga inadvertently knocks him off. This distracts Golga, and Mosh chokes Golga out with a shirt before Thrasher gets the schoolboy pin. After the match, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope stomp on Golga along with Thrasher and Mosh, and Shaggy 2 Dope sprays spray paint into Giant Silva's eyes. The four of them attack everyone else in the ring save for the referee, cutting Luna Vachon's hair after spray painting her in the eyes and tieing Giant Silva up in the ropes. Mosh says this is the new Headbanger attitude and that there is not right way or wrong way, only The Headbanger way, and that it's their turn to kick a little bit of ass.

"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman beats The Blue Blazer. During the match, it is made evident from a close-up of The Blue Blazer that Owen Hart is not behind the mask. After the match, Blackman tries to unmask The Blue Blazer, but Owen Hart rushes in from behind and hits Blackman in his injured leg with a chop block before leaving with The Blue Blazer.

We see footage from yesterday in San Jose, California, where "Stone Cold" Steve Austin collapses after a match, having suffered nausea and dizziness, among other symptoms, from being hit in the head with a shovel by The Undertaker last week on Raw.

WWF owner Vince McMahon and WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels are seen having a word backstage.

The Brood (Gangrel and Edge) beat The Nation (D'Lo Brown and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry). During the match, Chyna shows up, distracting Mark Henry and allowing Gangrel to win with a schoolboy pin. After the match, Chyna simply says "All right, Mark...I'll do it." Mark is excited, as the dinner date is on.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen talking to the doctors at the hospital, who give him some medication to allow him to get some sleep. He is also told to take a couple of weeks off. He tells Jim Ross that he feels like he's been hit in the head with a shovel, and that The Undertaker and Paul Bearer will have hell to pay when he comes back. His blood pressure goes up upon the mere thought of getting revenge.

WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is seen talking with D-Generation X ("Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, X-Pac) backstage.

Goldust vs. "Marvelous Marc Mero" ends in a no-contest. Before the match, it is announced that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will face The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match at next month's pay-per-view, Rock Bottom, and if Austin wins, he qualifies for the Royal Rumble Match in January. During the match, Terri Runnels shows up, and Jacqueline shows up soon after. Terri gets up on the apron to distract the referee as Goldust readies Mero for Shattered Dreams, then Jacqueline hits Goldust with a low blow before Terri kicks Mero in the crotch.

Back at the hospital, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin signs an autograph, then has his blood pressure checked before he gets some sleep. A hearse is then seen pulling up in front of the hospital.

WAR ZONE

Mankind retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against The Big Boss Man and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. WWF owners Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon show up and watch from the stage during the match. Near the end, The J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow, 2 Cold Scorpio, Bob Holly) show up, and Al Snow hits Shamrock with Head as Shamrock has Mankind in the ankle lock to allow Mankind to retain.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are seen assaulting "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the hospital in San Jose, California and putting him under with a handkerchief covered in ether. The Undertaker tells Austin "This is where you get off" and "This is your last ride."

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer place "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in their hearse and drive off.

Dwayne Gill beats Christian to become the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion! During the match, The J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow, 2 Cold Scorpio, Bob Holly) attack Edge and Gangrel, and 2 Cold Scorpio hits Christian with a splash before placing Gill on top of him. Michael Cole - who calls this "the greatest upset in WWF history" - interviews Gill, who says that aside from the birth of the son, this is the greatest moment of his life. He is then helped to the back by The J.O.B. Squad.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer take a sedated "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to a mound of dirt in the middle of nowhere. Nearby is an open grave, which Bearer asks The Undertaker to make a little bit deeper. Bearer tells Austin he has crossed the line, and Austin comes to and grabs Bearer. The Undertaker puts Austin in a headlock while Bearer puts Austin back under with a handkerchief doused in ether. The Undertaker then says burying Austin alive is too good for him, and tells Bearer he will embalm him alive and that Austin will know what pain is.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are seen driving away with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Before the next match, The Godfather gives Tiger Ali Singh the choice between fighting him - to which he says he will kick Singh's ass - or any of his three hoes for the entire night. Suddenly, Steven Regal shows up and tells Singh he got screwed royally last week, because he trusted The Godfather and that Singh "can afford better slappers than this." Regal and Singh then double-team The Godfather, and Val Venis gets in the ring to beat up Singh. Referees and officials have to restore order. After the match, The Godfather gives the hos to Val Venis.

WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and The Rock are sen having a disagreement backstage, and WWF owners Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon have to keep The Rock away from Shawn.

WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is seen talking to referee Earl Hebner in the locker room.

The J.O.B. Squad (Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio) beat The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). During the match, it is revealed that Dwayne Gill has joined The J.O.B. Squad. Near the end, Mankind shows up with a leafblower and hits Billy Gunn in the head with it. After the match, The Big Boss Man and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock show up and attack everyone in the ring. Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and Sgt. Slaughter show up and try to recruit The New Age Outlaws.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer take "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to a funeral home.

In the funeral home, The Undertaker takes "Stone Cold" Steve Austin into the embalming room and places him on the slab. As Paul Bearer gets prepared for the enbalming, The Undertaker tells Austin that he cannot tempt the fate and tempt "the Ministry," and that this it did not have to be this way and that this is his fault. He tells Austin this is what he gets when he crosses the line into a realm of darkness from which there is no escape, and that this is the final road for him. Bearer then cuts Austin's shirt in half.

In the funeral home, The Undertaker tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that he hopes he can hear him, for what he will experience is going to be the worst imaginable pain and horror that he could ever endure, as when one understands death, they become ageless, deathless and immortal. The Undertaker then chants some foreign words, then points a dagger at the throat of Austin. Suddenly, Kane shows up and attacks The Undertaker. Bearer tries to finish the job with some scissors, but Austin comes to, resists and escapes. The camera then suddenly cuts off, and the transmission ends.

WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up before the next match and ejects The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and The Big Boss Man from ringside, sending them back to the back and ensuring that the next match is strictly one-on-one. He then watches the match from ringside.

The Rock retains the WWF Championship against X-Pac. During the match, WWF owners Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon show up and watch the match from the stage. Near the end, The Rock introduces a steel chair into the match. WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels heads into the ring, takes it away from him, and then hits X-Pac in the head with the chair before The Rock hits The Corporate Elbow to retain. After the match, The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) rush into the ring. The Rock escapes, but The Big Boss Man and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock rush in and attack The Outlaws and X-Pac. Vince, Shane, The Rock and Shawn are seen mockingly giving The Outlaws and X-Pac the D-Generation X crotch chop from the ramp to end the show.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after Thrasher stops the double top rope splash and Thrasher kicks Matt Hardy in the back during an Irish whip by Mosh. During the match, The Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope) show up, being held back by The Oddities (Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva) as they try to confront The Headbangers.

WWF Live will be coming to the Brown County Expo Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Wednesday, October 21st. We hear from Goldust, who tells Val Venis that he is the original Goldust and not a sequel, and that Val Venis will receive an Oscar-caliber beating this Wednesday night October 21st, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We also hear from Mankind, who says that while Kane is a monster, he has no idea what he has gotten himself into, as he has made "no holds barred" into an art form. Mr. Socko says that Mankind will kick Kane's ass on Wednesday night. Also, The Rock will take on Vader, The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against Southern Justice (Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight), and X-Pac will take on D'Lo Brown for the European Championship.

The Godfather of The Nation beats Bradshaw.

Gangrel is in the ring with Christian. He says he knows Edge is out there, as he can smell his rage, and ever since their bloodlines first embraced, he knew he was something special. He says that this is why he is here with Christian, and that he is here to bring him home. Gangrel tells Edge his real family needs him, and while he can hide behind his anger, he cannot escape his destiny that was set upon him a long time ago. He goes on to say that the WWF is not his world and asks why Edge brought their world here, then promises he will not rest until he has Edge's rage and fury beside him where it belongs.

WWF Bone Crunchin' Buddies - "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Dude Love, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker - are now available from Jakks Pacific!

We hear from The Rock, who says Vader is a never-was, much less a has-been, and he plans to go through Vader on Wednesday night like how Ex-Lax "goes through [his] fat ass mama."

Before the next match, Al Snow grabs a microphone and yells "Attention, K-Mart shoppers! What does everybody want? What does every need?" The fans obviously chant "Head!" to both questions.

Al Snow beats D'Lo Brown with a La Magistral Cradle after both men miss a high flying move from the top rope after the other dodges.

Bradshaw beats Harley Lewis.

We hear from D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). Triple H and X-Pac tell Owen Hart to suck it, Billy Gunn says he and Road Dogg beat L.O.D. 2000 (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) before and that they can do it again. Road Dogg says dinosaurs don't wear gold; champions do.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Jackyl and Kurrgan in the ring. The Jackyl says that just as the prophet came down and licked the wounds of the lepers clean, so today shall he walk into the miasmatic scum that is the crowd in the arena tonight. He says the stench that emanates from the crowd can only be matched by the stench that is at the top of Titan Towers, and the stench is the stench of conspiracy against him. He says that he is sick of the fact that he is constantly censored, kept off live television and banned from house shows despite being the best speaker in the World Wrestling Federation and "over like nobody's business." He says there are people in the WWF with limited intellect and ability who have jobs in the WWF today because of him, and that in six months, Kurrgan has gone from a corporate sideshow to the most feared man in the WWF. The Jackyl then announces that he will take over the WWF and that his revolution is coming, and he tells the fans - whom he considers too dumb to participate in "intellectual intercourse" - to listen to every word he says and "Jackyl off."

We hear from Faarooq, who says that Unforgiven could not be a more fitting title for the way he feels. He says that he raised The Nation to where they are in the WWF, but he brought them in and he can take them out along with "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman.

The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) vs. The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) ends in a double disqualification after all four men in both teams keep fighting each other in the ring. During the match, it is announced that Tennessee Lee will be guesting on commentary next week to get the word out about "Double J" Jeff Jarrett's performance with Sawyer Brown at Unforgiven.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 17, 1998

Kevin Kelly interviews "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock in the ring. After we see some footage between Shamrock and The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, "The Rock" Rocky Maivia, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Mark Henry) from last week, Shamrock is asked how much self-control he will be able to display. Shamrock says he has fought in no-holds-barred competitions all over the world, and for someone who has lost his temper a few times, he prides himself on his discipline which has saved him a couple of times. He then tells The Rock that when he steps into his zone, there will be a new Intercontinental Champion and everyone will find out who the real "People's Champion" is. The Rock shows up, followed by the rest of The Nation. The Rock says he is tired of hearing what Shamrock will do to him at WrestleMania, and tells him he couldn't last two minutes with any member of the Nation, much less him. He then tells Shamrock that if he can last two minutes against any member of the Nation, he'll give him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship tonight. D'Lo Brown ends up being picked by The Rock against his will, but it turns out he's acting when he hits Shamrock from behind.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats D'Lo Brown in an impromptu 2-minute match by disqualification with just seconds left after "The Rock" Rocky Maivia hits Shamrock from behind with a chair as he has D'Lo in the ankle lock. The Rock hits Shamrock in the head with the chair when Shamrock dares him to, and Faarooq takes the chair away from The Rock and argues with him before he can do any more damage. Referees and officials check on Shamrock as The Rock and Faarooq leave.

During the break, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock tried to get back on his feet, but fell over even. It is announced that Shamrock has suffered a concussion, and Shamrock does not want to go to a hospital.

Sable shows up without "Marvelous" Marc Mero, and calls out Luna Vachon, saying she's had it with her and that it's time to settle it once and for all. She challenges Luna to a one-on-one fight tonight, and if she has any guts, she'll be here so she can kick Luna's ass.

After Sable leaves, the Phoenix Suns Gorilla shows up and gets crazy for the crowd. He then guests on commentary for the next match - even though he says absolutely nothing - and briefly wears Jim Ross' hat. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett then shows up on a horse before the next match.

"Double J" Jeff Jarrett beats Tom Brandi with the Figure Four Leg Lock.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is finally taken to the hospital. "The Rock" Rocky Maivia then interrupts Kevin Kelly, and demands that the WWF find somebody worthy of facing him after the beating Shamrock received, and says that if Shamrock is still alive, he can enjoy WrestleMania from the comfort of his own home.

We see a video package detailing the path that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels has taken to WrestleMania.

The Phoenix Suns Gorilla is shooting balled-up T-shirts into the crowd before the next match. Mosh tells The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) that they're the ones who are handicapped in their handicap match as they are stuck with Jim Cornette. Cornette grabs the microphone and tells the ref to start the match, saying "We'll see who's gonna win."

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Rock 'n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) and Jim Cornette in a 3-on-2 handicap match. After the match, The Headbangers finally get Cornette in the ring, but they are attacked from behind by two men in blue and gold: Bob Holly (who is now blonde) and Bart Gunn, who haven't been seen in many months. They make quick work of The Headbangers, then Cornette grabs the microphone. He then says that for the last eight years, he has been asked to bring back The Midnight Express, and introduces "Bombastic" Bob Holly and "Bodacious" Bart Gunn as The New Midnight Express. He then sicks The New Midnight Express on the original Rock 'n Roll Express, saying that it is their fault that wrestlers are putting their hands on him and that The Headbangers are still NWA tag champs.

Gennifer Flowers tells "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels that he can be her boy toy any time, tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that if they got together it would be anything but "stone cold," and tells The Undertaker that she can make him rise from the dead as she says she's coming to WrestleMania to have some fun.

The Phoenix Suns Gorilla shows up once again, but this time so does Kane and Paul Bearer. Kane gives the Gorilla a choke slam and a Tombstone Piledriver.

The intro to War Zone plays to signal the start of the second hour.

Owen Hart guests on commentary for the next match. He says he will be at WrestleMania whether his ankle is 100% or not.

Before the next match, The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dog" Jesse James and "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn) show up with a shiny new dumpster with the words "Jack's House" written on one side and the Outlaws' names on the back. Road Dogg says the Outlaws are why Chippendales are out of business and that he will take the garbage out before taking the laundry out. He then tells Chainsaw Charlie that if he makes it to WrestleMania 14, he will live to rue the day he was born as the Outlaws will retain the tag titles. Road Dogg continues to mock Charlie through the microphone during the match.

Chainsaw Charlie beats "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn by disqualification when "Road Dog" Jesse James hits Chainsaw Charlie with one of the tag team title belts. Chainsaw Chalie knocks him out of the ring, then hits a DDT on Gunn on the title belt. Charlie then goes after James, and Cactus Jack shows up. Charlie is then handed a bungee cord, and hogties James' feet together with it. Cactus Jack then pulls a rope down, and Road Dogg is hung upside-down from his feet. Charlie goes after Billy Gunn as Cactus Jack pulls the rope down, and tells Road Dog not to leave his partner's side, then tells him he doesn't know how to get him down and that "[his] ass better call somebody."

Jim Ross interviews Luna Vachon and The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust backstage. Luna says that nobody is going to tell her what to do, or when to do it. She calls Sable "a little ignorant slut" and tells her she'll give her another makeover tonight, but only when she decides to.

WWF owner Vince McMahon enters the ring and is interviewed by Kevin Kelly. Vince says it was a very unfortunate and very unprofessional confrontation between himself and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin last week. After we see the footage from last week, and did not appreciate how Austin treated him. He believes in giving him the benefit of the doubt, as he was stunned by the mental acumen of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels when Michaels brought "Iron" Mike Tyson into D-Generation X (Shawn, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna). After seeing the footage of Austin coercing Vince into hitting him, Vince says he did not hit Austin last week as he does what he does from a professional standpoint for WWF fans all over the world, and that he was saving the main event for WrestleMania, and asks "How could "Stone Cold" Steve Austin compete against Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania with a broken jaw?" Vince then says he does what he does from a professional standpoint for WWF fans all over the world again being ordered out of the ring, and that it would not have looked good in any way had he taken Austin down. When asked if he wants to see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin as WWF Champion, it doesn't matter what he thinks and that it matters what the WWF fans think, and if Austin would be reasonable and be molded into a respectable WWF champion, it would be one thing, but if he is WWF Champion as he is now, it would be a corporate public relations nightmare. He then tells everyone that he's not so sure if anybody, much less Austin, could handle the truth. He then says it's not just a no, but a "hell no." Vince then tells Austin that's the bottom line, because Vince McMahon said so.

We see a video package detailing the path that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has taken to WrestleMania.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley shows up, confronting him for taking the European Championship from him and "hiding behind a commentary table." He asks if Owen is a man, and says a man wouldn't run and cower behind a desk and would accept a challenge. He tells Owen to get in the ring and defend the European title so he can kick his ass. Owen calls Triple H a coward for challenging him when his ankle is hurt. Triple H then shoves Owen down, but Owen splashes water into Triple H's face. That is enough for Owen to go after Triple H, starting a match.

Triple H beats Owen Hart by referee stoppage with an ankle lock to win the WWF European Championship when Chyna shows up, smacks a baseball bat into Owen Hart's injured ankle and rolls Owen Hart into the ring. Triple H tells Owen Hart to get out or else he'll send him back home in a wheelchair.

The one-on-one confrontation between Luna Vachon and Sable ends in yet another brouhaha that referees, officials, "Marvelous" Marc Mero and The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust have to break up. Sable eventually gets her hands on Luna, and twists her knee in the process. The lights then go dark again and Kane and Paul Bearer show up, and Mero rushes out of the ring, leave Sable along with Kane and Bearer. Before Kane can get his hands on Sable, however, the lights go out, and The Undertaker appears at the top of the TitanTron. He tells Kane that at WrestleMania 14, he will strike him down with anger and furious vengeance, and that he will deliver him to the fiery pits of eternal damnation. Kane will know his name as the Lord of Darkness. Having felt Kane's wrath, Kane will soon feel his. He tells Kane it is too late to turn back, and the only thing he can do now is rest in peace. A lightning bolt strikes a coffin, revealing an effigy of Kane which soon catches fire to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 1, 1997

"Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn dedicate their victory and the next interview to The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), who they say aren't in the building tonight as they are at home licking their wounds from being whipped like unruly children. Road Dog says the Smithsonian Institute has contacted him about obtaining a piece of wrestling history, and has shipped them a pair of Road Warrior shoulder pads as they are indeed wrestling history. This Sunday, he and Bad Ass have a rematch with The Legion of Doom, but say that Animal and Hawk won't get the gold back as they are here to stay with them. Billy Gunn then announces that tonight, he and Road Dog will have a non-title match, and the only thing that they are afraid of is actually breaking a sweat. All of a sudden, The Legion of Doom, in street clothes sans make-up, come out of the crowd and attack Road Dog and Billy Gunn, forcing them to retreat and making it known that Road Dog and Billy Gunn can't beat them, and that they will be lucky to make it through tonight as they will make sure they don't leave the building tonight with the tag team titles.

Sable is guest ring announcer for the next match.

Taka Michinoku beats Aguila to continue to the finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

Before the next match, Luna Vachon drags Goldust to the stage. Goldust now has red hair, yellow and black face paint, a ball gag in his mouth, a green sleeveless bodysuit, a steel grey bikini top with spikes on the cups, black spikes on the shoulders and no shoes of any kind. Luna says she is "the original bitch" and that the bitch is back. She says that Goldust was a prisoner of his life since he was a child, first to Dusty Rhodes (whom she calls "an overbearing, overweight father") and then to Marlena (a petite, scum-sucking gold digger.") She has brought the key to set him free from his living hell, and declares him "The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust" before He says he will never be the same again. There will be no rules and no boundaries, but there will be whips and chains. As , Luna Vachon says that Vader will learn that pain and pleasure go together and that before the torture is over on Sunday, Vader will drag Goldust's chain. Luna then removes the ball gag on Goldust before making out in the ring.

Jerry "The King" Lawler beats "El Matador" Tito Santata to continue on to next week's championship match of the 1998 Karate Fighters Tournament, where he will take on Sunny.

A Four Corners match between Recon, D'Lo Brown, Chainz and Miguel Perez ends when The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball), Los Boricuas (Savio Vega, Jesus Castillo, Jose Estrada Jr.), The Truth Commission (Sniper and The Interrogator) and The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) all jump in and turn the match into an all-out war. The Jackyl briefly guests on commentary during the brawl to scout for new recruits for The Truth Commission as well as to stay out of the brawl.

D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna) show up. Triple H wheels Shawn to the stage, and Shawn says that DX shows the world that no matter how many millions of dollars people want to throw around, they are always one step ahead of the pack. They showed Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart that they can play anyone for a sucker, and tonight, Triple H gets to finish the job. Triple H says that in the back, Neidhart is known as "The White Rhino" and he knows rhinos are stupid, but he can't believe Neidhart is the biggest idiot he's ever seen. He gives Neidhart advice: don't think about what he'll do without his family, as nothing good can come of it. In just a little while, he will take all his decision-making ability away from him, and make the decision for him. He then tells WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter to make the match against him next Sunday any kind of match he wants, because he will bring all the heavy artillery he has and will take him out for good. He is, however, saving something for his wife: the big bazooka. Shawn then says that he is in a wheelchair because of the rigorous training Chyna has been putting him through, and says that the leg exercises come with a positive. He knows that "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock lives and dies by the ankle lock, and his pain tolerance is now at an all-time high. Without the ankle lock, Shamrock doesn't have a chance, and he then asks Triple H to show the pain tolerance that he has now. Triple H then twists Shawn's left ankle, and twists it 900 degrees, and the foot rotates in ways it shouldn't as he does. Shawn then says that DX always has a leg up on the competition, then Triple H moves the leg upwards. Strangely enough, the leg stays in that position.

We see the closing of Survivor Series as it is announced that it will be revealed what happened.

The introduction for War Zone plays to signal the start of the second hour.

Before the next match, Rocky Maivia makes it clear that the next match is a non-title match. When the match begins, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin drives his black "Austin 3:16" pick-up truck into the arena and starts drinking beer on the roof as AC/DC's "Back in Black" and "You Shook Me (All Night Long)" is blaring out of the stereo. Rocky Maivia runs away, but Kama Mustafa, Faarooq and D'Lo Brown get him back in the ring for his match against Vader.

Rocy Maivia beats Vader by count-out after the rest of The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa) distracts the referee and Goldust attacks Vader outside of the ring. Vader chases after Goldust and Luna Vachon, leaving "The Rock" to focus on Austin, who flips the Nation off from the top of the truck.

We see a video package of "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock.

Scott Taylor is in the ring for this WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament semi-finals match against "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher when Kane and Paul Bearer show up. Taylor fights Kane off, but Kane hits him with the choke slam and the Tombstone Piledriver. Paul Bearer tells The Undertaker that he hopes he is happy as all the carnage at Kane's hands is his fault, and that it will continue until he does what he has to do. He tells The Undertaker that his life is already a living hell. "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher continues to the finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament by default and will face Taka Michinoku this Sunday at In Your House: D-Generation X.

Before the next match, it is announced that Ahmed Johnson's rental car rolled over in Hampton, Virginia eight days ago and that Ahmed Johnson is not seriously hurt. Jeff Jarrett says that his wrestling debut will not happen tonight, saying that WWF is continuing to drop the ball by not knowing how to promote him, and if they can't do it right, he will have to take matters into his own hands. Last week, not one stipulation considering his dressing room was met. This week, Ahmed Johnson - one of the reasons he left two years ago - is in the ring, and he refuses to face him, saying Ahmed is not even on his level and that he would submit to the Figure Four Leg Lock in minutes. He says he is not wrestling tonight, and Ahmed can tell Vince McMahon that. Ahmed tells Jarrett "I guess you are chicken shit," and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter shows up to take the microphone from Jarrett and tells him that he does not have to wrestle tonight after a review of his contract. He will, however, have to wrestle at In Your House: D-Generation X, as Slaughter has found a top-level talent for him that night, and that he must wrestle or else he will be suspended indefinitely. Jarrett's opponent will be none other than The Undertaker, and Jarrett does not like the sound of that.

Before the next match, "Road Dog" Jesse James tells The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) that the last time they met, they wore a boombox as a hat. This time, they're just going to slap them around.

"Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beat The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) by disqualification after being attacked by The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk). They run out of the arena with the tag team titles, and The Headbangers almost go at it with The Legion of Doom.

Jim Cornette interviews Marc Mero and Sable in the ring. When told that Sable is getting more of a fan response than he is, Mero asks Sable if he has done anything than he has, and says that the fans have failed to realize his athletic ability and see his rugged good looks and chiseled body because they were chanting for Sable. The chants for Sable grow louder as Mero says he's the star and that Sable would be nothing without him and will be nothing when he kicks her to the curb. He says that Sable belongs to him and is his property. At In Your House: D-Generation X, he will make quick work of "Butterbean" Eric Esch. He then asks Sable to disrobe him so he can show a little exhibition, which she does. She then holds up the handmitts, which feature the side and back of Butterbean's head. She holds them up, and Mero punches them until one of them falls off her hands, and Mero tells her to pick it up. Mero says that for seven months, he sat in rehab wile Sable used the WWF ramp as her personal catwalk to model shirts such as the "Austin 3:16" shirt, and says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin owes him some money for that. He says that Sable should have been modeling Marc Mero wares, and that she has abandoned him. Mero calls Sable useless, and says he's sick of looking at her. He then tells her to get out of the ring, which she reluctantly does. Mero then tells Butterbean that he hasn't been in the ring with a real boxer yet, and that he is the greatest wrestler-boxer in the world. Mero plans to knock Butterbean out just like he will to anyone who stares at "his property."

We see footage from Survivor Series after the WWF Championship match between "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. We see Bret spit in Vince McMahon's face, and the footage of Bret never tapping is also shown.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart after Chyna distracts the referee and "The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels grabs Neidhart, allowing Triple H to hit Neidhart in the back with a steel chair. After the match, Shawn and Triple H attack Neidhart, and after a Pedigree to Neidhart on a steel chair, they pull down the upper half of his wrestling gear so Shawn can take a can of black spray paint and spray paint the letters "WCW" on Neidhart's back. Neidhart gets back up and clotheslines Shawn and Triple H, but Chyna forearms Neidhart and the Chyna, Shawn and Triple H handcuff Neidhart to the top rope. Neidhart tries to fight back with only one arm, and when WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter tries to stop this, he gets knocked down. "The World's Most Dangerous Man" then shows up and goes to town, putting Shawn in the ankle lock while Sgt. Slaughter comes back to and puts the Cobra Clutch on Triple H and Neidhart holds Chyna back with one hand.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 10, 1997

The show starts with D-Generation ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, "Ravishing" Rick Rude) coming out to brand-new music, but only Rick Rude shows up. Rude tells all the "fat, out-of-shape Ottawa idiots" to shut their mouths, open their eyes and give their respect to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn, Triple H and Chyna show up, and despite promising to do so last week, Shawn does not show up to the ring naked, with Jim Cornette saying that he has heard in the back that "the Canadians don't deserve it." It is also announced for the first time on WWF commentary as they show up that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart has left the World Wrestling Federation because of Shawn Michaels and that there will be more details later. Rude congratulates Shawn on a job well done at Survivor Series, and Shawn says that he wouldn't have it any other way as D-Generation X is now on top of the world. Shawn says that he considered coming out to the ring and being politically correct, but since somebody else drew first blood, he is now going to unload on everybody. He tells all the fans chanting "We want Bret" that he beat Bret in his home country and with his own finishing hold, and if they thought DX was hell to deal with before, they haven't seen anything yet. Shawn then states that the World Wrestling Federation was not big enough for him and Bret, and put him in the Sharpshooter and heard him give up, then ran him "down south with the rest of those dinosaurs," and that he has two friends there who are not dinosaurs who will beat the hell out of him one day, whether he likes it or not (a reference to Scott Hall and Kevin Nash). Shawn then says he is the only man on top who will ever be #1 and be an icon...not Bret, not "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, not "Macho Man" Randy Savage, as nobody has the will to be the best and he will outwill the rest of them as he has something they don't: god-given, pure, natural talent. He says he is willing to be a wrestling champion, and Rick Rude agrees with him, saying Shawn will never say "I quit." As Shawn says he will never beat up a 52-year-old man, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock shows up. Shawn tells Shamrock he gave him a wrestling lesson last week, and that he can't possibly want any more of him. He gives Shamrock the microphone and wants to see if he can put a sentence together. Shamrock initially tells Shawn "You aren't gonna give me shit!" then grabs the microphone and tells DX that are a disgrace to the human race, and tells Chyna to take a seat as he questions her gender. Triple H laughs, but Shamrock tells him that if he thinks that's funny, then he should wait until he gets a hold of him. He then immediately answers Shawn's challenge to take on anybody, anywhere, any time. He then tells Rick Rude that all he knows how to do is attack people from behind as he's an old man. He then focuses on Shawn's hair and chest, calling them both "sexy," then tells Shawn he's going to punch a hole in his sexy chest and that the rest of DX can't stop him. Shamrock then says he's got the microphone, and that he dictates when it's time to stop talking. Shawn then takes the microphone, says he makes the decision, and decides it's time for him to stop talking. He says Chyna (addressing her as "this woman") can knock him out any day of his life and that he should be lucky that Rick Rude doesn't knock him the hell out, then tells Shamrock that Triple H can beat him anywhere, any time. He doesn't blame Shamrock for thinking his hair and chest are sexy, then WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter shows up, then gives Slaughter the same directions as Shamrock, but tells him not to spit at him. Slaughter says "you have a WWF Championship match against Shamrock." tonight. Shawn tells Slaughter he beat a man who is a legend in his own, then goes back on his word and says he can't defend the title tonight, although he usually would. Slaughter tells Shawn's he not wrestling tonight; Triple H is. Triple H says he already has a match tonight, and he'd beat Shamrock's ass tonight, but he has other business to take care of. Slaughter tells Triple H that the match is against Shamrock anyway, and to ensure there is no interference, he will be at ringside and bars Rick Rude, Shawn and Chyna from ringside. It is then announced that the encore of Survivor Series is tomorrow night.

Ahmed Johnson beats Marc Mero by disqualification when Mero is caught by the referee hitting Ahmed with a low blow. Mero gets disqualified, but he hits Ahmed with the TKO anyway. After the match, "Butterbean" Eric Esch, boxer and winner of 18 professional fights, is seen in the crowd.

Sunny is guest ring announcer for the next match. "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher guests on commentary.

Taka Michinoku beats Devon Storm to continue to the semi-finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament. During the match, "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher distracts Michinoku only to be drop kicked off the apron. Nevertheless, Michinoku manages to hit the Michinoku Driver on Devon Storm. After the match, Michinoku immediately hits Cristopher with a top rope cross body to the outside of the ring, and Christopher immediately runs to the back. Michinoku will face Aguila in the semi-final round.

Jim Ross interviews Goldust in the ring. Goldust now has flames painted on the front of his hair and red lipstick on his lips as he walks into the ring with a cigar in his mouth much like Marlena. The words "I'm 1st" are in black on the back of his head, and he is now wearing big, white pearl earrings on his ears and a gold leisure suit. Goldust tells Jim Ross that he knows what his "fat ass old man" did to him, and got out of that - and out of his marriage, where he wasn't allowed to be himself - and while Marlena was gone, he found somebody who allowed him to express himself, which he says Marlena never allowed him to do. Goldust says he has a broken arm, and says he can't wrestle in his current condition when asked why he turned on Vader. Vader shows up, says nobody walks out on him. Vader tells Goldust he's known him for a decade that they have both fought alongside and against each other, and he knew what kind of a man Goldust was. He wants to know why Goldust turned on him. Goldust says he's an invalid and couldn't wrestle, but Vader tells Goldust that he told him he was ready before last night's match. Vader tells Goldust this will be straightened out one way or another, then punches Goldust in the gut and puts him in a powerbomb before walking out of the ring.

Michael Cole reports that Blackjack Bradshaw is raising hell in the locker room as Blackjack Windham is lying on the floor, and that he keeps mentioning "two jackasses."

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) bring out The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) to surround the ring for the next match, and The Jackyl guests on commentary.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Truth Commission (Recon and Sniper). During the match, The Jackyl gets on the apron, but The Headbangers immediately knock him off, and The Interrogator meets the same fate near the end of the match (though he is not knocked off his feet). After the match, both teams brawl, and The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) get involved. The D.O.A. and The Headbangers come out on top as referees try to restore order.

The introduction to the show is replayed to signal the start of War Zone.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is interviewed in the ring by Michael Cole. Austin isn't even concerned about paying back Owen Hart for breaking his neck, because the fact of the matter is that he's back and Intercontinental Champion after sitting at home for three months and drinking beer. When Michael Cole tells him that he might as well paint a bulls-eye on his forehead after winning the Intercontinental Championship, Austin tells him he might as well paint a bulls-eye on Cole's ass and kick him around the building. The Nation of Domination's (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) music hits, but only Rocky Maivia shows up. Maivia says that when he was the Intercontinental Champion, he was the best there was, and that come hell or high water, he will be wearing it again, and if Austin has enough manhood to accept his chalenge, then Austin's bottom line will read "has been, compliments of 'The Rock.'" Austin gives Maivia a couple of challenges in response: get a decent haircut and flush himself down the commode because he's a piece of crap. He accepts Maivia's challenge, then says Maivia doesn't suck because the fans said so; Maivia sucks because Stone Cold said so.

Before the next match, Jim Ross interviews Steve Blackman at ringside. Ross says Blackman put on quite a performance last night, and Blackman says he feels that he acquitted himself at Survivor Series. Jesus Castillo tells Blackman to get an interview some other time, and Blackman tells Castillo to get out of his face. This leads to Castillo, Jose Estrada Jr. and Miguel Perez to attack Blackman, but Blackman effectively fights them all off at once with his martial arts prowess.

Michael Cole interviews Road Dog "Jesse James" and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn backstage, and announces that Blackjack Windham is out with rib injuries, and asks them how they can accept the Bunkhouse Battle when it is now 2-on-1 and in their favor. Road Dogg says Windham was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and now Blackjack Bradshaw is "higher than a Georgia pine and twice as stupid." Road Dog and Billy Gunn then come to the ring, telling the crowd to get ready for carnage as the plan to get rid of both of The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Windham and Blackjack Bradshaw). Blackjack Bradsaw then comes to the ring and throws powder into Billy Gunn's face.

We finally see part two of the Jeff Jarrett interview. Jarrett asks Jim Ross where, in 1997, you can find a man who is 30 years old with 12 years of experience in the professional wrestling business with no steroids, no skeletons in the closet, and the star potential and looks that he has, and says that the WWF is getting him at a bargain. It has been Jarrett's lifelong and immediate goal to become the WWF Champion, and Vince McMahon will have the greatest, most respected champion that he's ever had. Jarrett says he's never beaten Bret "The Hit Man" Hart before, and says he wants to beat him, saying that he is superior to Bret in all aspects, saying Bret is "the best there was" and not much else. He says he will not be surprised if "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at Survivor Series. Jim Ross then plays a game of word association with Jarrett. He says Bret is dedicated, says The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) has strength in numbers, says he has respect for Mick Foley, and calls "Macho Man" Randy Savage the hardest-working guy he has ever known. He says The Legion of Doom has raw ability, and says of Eric Bischoff "right time, right place, right wallet." As for "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, he says "charisma plus intelligence equals success." For Shawn Michaels, he calls him "a phenomenal athelete," calls Triple H "a tag-along" and says he doesn't know what to think of Chyna. As long as Shawn doesn't act juvenile around him or mess with him, he's not bothered by his behavior, saying that Shawn is frustrated at something and that this is how he is venting it, and that Shawn knows he can still be one of the best wrestlers out there today.

Michael Cole interviews professional boxer, 18-time Toughman Contest winner and IBWA Super Heavyweight Champion "Butterbean" Eric Esch and his trainer Art Dohr. As he mentions his fight on December 6th, he says he's here to train but also to watch Raw live as his friends watch it all the time, and says the crowd is wonderful and that he can't ask for a better night. Marc Mero shows up and tells Michael Cole that if he wants to interview a boxer, interview him. Marc Mero asks Butterbean who he's ever beaten, other than truck drivers and unemployed steel workers and "these lousy Canadians." He also tells Butterbean to even touch, look at or come near Sable, as he is a real boxed and the real star of the team, that he is a real boxer, and that Butterbean is a nobody he can knock out in four rounds or less before saying Butterbean is the Pillsbury doughboy and he is Superman. He warns Butterbean not to touch Sable again, and Butterbean almost jumps the guardrail as soon as he puts his hands on him. Butterbean is confused as to what happened, and Jim Ross apologizes on behalf of the WWF to Butterbean for Marc Mero's behavior.

The Undertaker vs. Kama Mustafa ends in a no-contest. Before the match, it is announced that the encore of Survivor Series is tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central throughout North America. During the match, Paul Bearer and Kane show up, and Bearer says it would be easy for Kane to get in the ring and bring 'Taker to his eternal damnation, but Kane really wants 'Taker to suffer like he did when he was in the fire. Bearer tells 'Taker that he must face Kane one-on-one, no interference, no excuses, so Kane can prove that he is superior. 'Taker tells Bearer to shut up before he rips his throat out, then tells Kane this is not the place and that Bearer is nothing but an infectious disease who has poisoned his mind. He tells Kane that somewhere behind the mask of evil is his little brother and that there is something good left in him, and asks him not to come to him as an enemy but as his brother, and to stand beside him as he will never fight him tonight or any other night, as Kane is flesh and blood - his flesh and blood - just like him, and if he has to go through the rest of the WWF, so be it. He tells Paul Bearer that he will pay for what he is doing, and Bearer says that all the agony he and Kane cause and all the souls they destroy will be 'Taker's fault, and for that, 'Taker will pay in the fires of Hell.

The show ends before "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. Triple H can finish. Despite being barred from ringside at the top of the show, "Ravishing" Rick Rude shows up and watches the match from the entrance ramp midway through the match. He tries to interfere, but is stopped by WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, as is Chyna when she tries to interfere as well. Triple H knocks out the referee, and Shamrock goes for the ankle lock submission. Rick Rude tosses the steel Halliburton briefcase to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, and Michaels smacks the briefcase into Shamrock's back. Triple H makes the pinfall after this, but the referee is pulled out of the ring as the show ends.

New York, New York - WWF New York recap for November 1, 1997

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) after Thrasher scores a pinfall on Phineas with a Victory Roll. After the match, The Godwinns hit The Headbangers with a double Slop Drop.

The WWF will be at Madison Square Garden on November 15th with a special start time of 1 PM.

Recon beats Chainz after a brawl breaks out between the rest of The Truth Commission (Sniper, The Interrogator, The Jackal) and The Diciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball). After the match, The D.O.A. attack The Interrogator, which causes The Interrogator to lose his cool to the point that he has to be held back.

Scott Taylor and Taka Michinoku beat "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Yoshihiro Tajiri in a Light Heavyweight Division tag team match. Brian Christopher turns on Tajiri after the match.

Jim Cornette is sick and tired of wrestlers calling themselves wrestling icons, saying that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is one of the single greatest talents inside of the ring but is an adolescent, obnoxious jerk who takes his tights and goes home if he doesn't get his way outside of it. He says that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is also a great talent, but says that if he screwed by the WWF as often as he says he was, he'd have struck oil by now. He says "Macho Man" Randy Savage is a legend, but asks how many records Frank Sinatra sold last year. He then focuses on the steel cage match between "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper at WCW Halloween Havoc, saying the match was only the greatest in three weeks since Badd Blood's Hell In A Cell Match and that it included a 46-year-old bald movie star wanna-be who looks like Uncle Creepy with a good build (Hogan) and a guy with an artificial hip who hasn't wrestled a full schedule in ten years (Piper), calling it a tribute to the massive egotism of both men and an indictment of WCW's promotional policies that this match even took place, much less be in the main event, when the card for Halloween Havoc was probably the best of what WCW was capable of having. He says that both Piper and Hogan were so winded after the ten-minute mark that the first three rows died of oxygen deprivation, which would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Cornette says he is tired of men claiming they're the icon, especially from guys who didn't know when to quit, stating that Piper was his idol when he was a teenager...which was twenty years ago. He calls Hogan in his best years "50% media creation" and that those years are long gone. He calls the match a slap in the face to every wrestler who takes pride in his profession, and no one man is bigger than the sport. He says that if there really is an icon, it would be a man of great ability in the ring, and professionalism and maturity outside of it. He calls for the "I make more money than you B.S." to be left outside with the hat check girls and calls for a focus on talent and attitude. He says The Undertaker, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin have never claimed to be icons, which makes them prime candidates to be just that - icons. He then tells Hogan that he is a household word, but so is garbage, and it stinks when it gets old, too.

Vince McMahon starts the show with the announcement of Brian Pillman's passing in his hotel room in Bloomington, Minnesota yesterday, and that the WWE Superstars have put aside their personal differences at this time for a ten-bell salute to Pillman.

Michael Cole interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, who is accompanied by Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna. Shawn has sixteen stitches to his head from the events of last night's Hell In A Cell, when he was busted open. Shawn decides to give Michael Cole an official welcome from "the clique" by giving him a wedgie, then states that any hopes and dreams of putting him to an end at Badd Blood have been crushed, saying he is here and The Undertaker is not as he proved to the world that he is simply the very best sports entertainer in the world today and that last night was the proof. His status as Superstar in the WWF has been elevated to "the one true icon in the World Wrestling Federation." He says that the term "icon" has been thrown around loosely, and says that he is not "one of those fossils" and that he is "one of those icons who can still go." Helmsley states that what Shawn has states is "the everloving truth," and when he asks who is the man, the showstopper, the main event, Shawn says it is him. When asked who the greatest force in professional wrestling is, Shawn say it is "The Kliq." Shawn then asks the producers to show "some of the fine performance of The Heartbreak Kid" on the TitanTron, which takes a while to do due to technical difficulties. All of a sudden, the May 19th, 1996 footage from Madison Square Garden (otherwise known as "The Curtain Call"), and Helmsley and Shawn make fun of it before the footage vanishes off the TitanTron and Shawn and Helmsley head to the commentary table and give Vince a hard time by saying his father is spinning in his grave from the event and that they made an ass out of him. This continues into the commercial break, and when the show comes back on, The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) show up and says Shawn has no respect for anything or anybody and is a disgrace to professional wrestling. Hart says he is a second-generation wrestler who has paid his due, and calls Shawn the lowest form of scum he's ever come across and a degenerate, and calls both Shawn and Helmsley "a homo," saying that Helmsley barebacked his way to the main event and that he makes more money than Helmsley, Shawn and Chyna combined. Bret doesn't care what Shawn says until he takes the WWF Championship away from him. He says that he ran Razor Ramon and Diesel out of town and that he'll do the same with them, starting with Helmsley, and offers Helmsley a challenge to step in the ring with him. Shawn asks Bret if he wants Helmsley to wrestle him, and Bret says he wants Helmsley as he has Shawn at Survivor Series, when he will kick his scrawny little ass. Shawn has two words for Bret: suck it. He then says Bret makes more money, but he doesn't have more money as he works 24/7 to get his money and the business needs him, Helmsley, Chyna and "Ravishing" Rick Rude, who is seen at ringside. He then says the only way to get into the main event at Survivor Series is to wrestle him; otherwise, Bret Hart is a paper champion and just support on his pay-per-view matches. He then says he and The Kliq will continue to rule the World Wrestling Federation from now until when he decides differently, and that Bret didn't destroy The Kliq as he has confused expansion with destruction (a reference to Razor Ramon and Diesel heading to WCW). Shawn finishes by saying that The Kliq will own Bret.

We see the inside of Brian Pillman's home as we learn that Brian's wife Melanie Pillman will be interviewed later tonight.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) in a lumberjack match after all the lumberjacks get in the ring and fight each other.

Jim Cornette is seen in the back with his microphone being set up, telling someone not to get a heart attack when he gets to Eric Bischoff as he has a lot to say tonight and that he is going to have some fun.

In footage from earlier today, Miguel Perez of Los Boricuas says he is up against Marc Mero, and that he will finish him in two minutes.

Marc Mero - now with a new attitude and appearance and no longer called "Wildman" - beats Miguel Perez with a new finisher, which is as yet unnamed.

Jim Cornette starts off by saying that the following is his opinion and is not necessarily that of his employers. Cornette says a lot of things in wrestling makes him cranky this way, especially how some people such as "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair are treated by fans and promoters, but also Mick Foley and The New World Order. He says The New World Order are like a bunch of guys hanging out in the backyard in a clubhouse in a tree, who have the easiest job in the world and just have to be themselves - childish, obnoxious adolescent guys with a case of severe arrested emotional development and a fixation on trying to act macho. He says Kevin Nash has six moves, no mobility, and enough timing to make up for some of it. He also calls Nash a manipulator, saying that WWF pushed him to star status only to head to WCW for a big contract. He says Scott Hall is a good wrestler but couldn't put three asses in a set for ten years and left for WCW a big contract much like Nash did. He mentions Sean Waltman (also known as The 1-2-3 Kid and Syxx), who he says is only employed because the other guys think it is funny when he gets drunk and throws up all over himself, and that Sean is the only man "since this whole wrestling war started" that was released from a valid contract from one company to go to the other, saying that this shows how valuable Sean is. He says that Nash, Hall and Waltman all have the push they have gotten thanks to Eric Bischoff, the boss of WCW, and mentions that Bischoff's name is on the credits of every pay-per-view and that he likes to throw millions of dollars around just like water to hire guys he likes to hang out with. Cornette calls Bischoff a "mark" for himself as well as for "big, studly guys with long hair and beards who like to smoke cigars and ride Harleys so some of that can rub off on his pansy-ass frame," and says he hires them to "prove his Johnson is bigger than everybody else's." He says it is about time for the fans and promoters recognize guys like Anderson, Flair and Foley who bust their ass and have ability and talent to get where they are instead of guys who hang around with the boss and suck up to him.

The British Bulldog beats Rocky Maivia. After the match, Faarooq whips at The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) with his belt, starting a brawl between The Hart Foundation and The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Maivia) that is quickly broken up.

The intro to the show is replayed to signal the start of War Zone.

We see footage from yesterday of a packed entrance to the Kiel Arena in St. Louis, Missouri prior to the events of Badd Blood.

Vince McMahon interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the ring. Vince tells Austin he hopes that he has made the right decision, and Austin says he hopes so too or else he'll whip Vince's ass. Austin says he struck Faarooq with the Intercontinental Championship because he does what he wants when he wants, and if he doesn't want to answer Vince's questions, he doesn't have to and he doesn't care if Vince owns the World Wrestling Federation or not. Vince sees that Austin is not carrying a doctor's certificate that medically clears him, and Austin says he hasn't seen the doctor and therefore doesn't have on. Vince says he has a release from absolving World Wrestling Federation of any and all liability in his hands, and all Austin has to do is sign it. Austin says Vine is telling the truth when he calls him "the toughest S.O.B. in the WWF," but if he were to sign his piece of paper, he'd be "the dumbest S.O.B. in the WWF, and that ain't true." Austin says he'll sign the form if Vince signs a contract giving him a match against Owen Hart in a match for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Vince says he's got his match and offers to shake his hand, but Austin tells him to put his hand down and tells him to show him the contract. All of a sudden, Faarooq shows up on the TitanTron, saying he will kick Austin's ass for thinking that running around with tattoos makes him tough and that his ass is his for sticking his nose in The Nation of Domination's (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) business. Austin tells Faarooq he'll take the entire Nation on after his legal troubles are over, saying it's not a race thing, it's not a color thing, it's a "me kicking your ass" thing and that nobody can stop him. On his way out, Austin kicks Jerry "The King" Lawler's crown into the crowd.

Road Warrior Hawk says Owen Hart and The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) are like a loogie he can't seem to expel, and that Owen will be the shortest-reigning Intercontinental Champion that ever was as it takes one good hock to get rid of the loogie.

Before the next match, Owen Hart says he can't wait to see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin reinstated so he can get his hands on him after what happened last night. He says he is not scared of Austin, and if Austin wants to get back in the ring, all he has to do is get back in and take his best shot.

Owen Hart retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Road Warrior Hawk. During the match, The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) and Uncle Cletus show up, and nearly cost Road Warrior Hawk the match by hitting him in the back with the slop bucket. Road Warrior Animal shows up and fights off The Godwinns, but Uncle Cletus distracts the ref and allows Henry O. Godwinn to get a cheap shot on Hawk with Uncle Cletus' horseshoe to give Owen the win.

Vince McMahon interviews Melanie Pillman via satellite from Walton, Kentucky. Melanie says that there was a problem with his heart, which was put under a lot of stress and caused him to die of a heart attack in his sleep, though the results are still inconclusive. It is mentioned that Pillman has had to take prescription medication due to the car accident that he was in in recent years. Melanie says things were harder for Brian after the accident, and feels it would have been a matter of time before a reliance of pain medication would claim someone's life and that life was unfortunately Brian's and it could be anybody next. Melanie says that his youngest son doesn't understand why his dad isn't coming back, but her adopted daughter Brittany understands after losing her biological parents. When asked what she will do to support her five children, Melanie says she has no idea and that the outpouring of support from the fans is helping her go on. She wants Brian to be remembered as one of the most compassionate, loving men ever and the greatest father in the world who also loved and lived and died for the business, and she hopes nobody else has to die.

We see a video tribute to the life and times of Brian Pillman.

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) are about to face The Truth Commission (Recon, Sniper, The Interrogator) when Kane and Paul Bearer show up. Kane choke slams the Hardys before tossing Matt out of the ring and tossing Jeff right into Matt. Paul Bearer dares everyone to laugh at him, saying everyone should be laughing at The Undertaker as the proof that Kane is still alive is here. He says the people saw The Undertaker's face when he saw Kane for the first time in 20 years and knew it was him, and calls this the stop side on his highway to eternity. He says that he and Kane will destroy every Superstar in the WWF until they reach The Undertaker, and tells him that Kane will be behind his shoulder and that he will think of the fire every time he goes to sleep. Paul Bearer then welcomes The Undertaker to his worst nightmare.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley - now officially known as Triple H - beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart by count-out. During the match, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up and sticks Bret's Canadian flag in his left nostril, and Owen Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart show up soon after. When "Ravishing" Rick Rude arrives, he goes after Owen and The Anvil with the briefcase, allowing Shawn to hit Bret with a superkick after Chyna keeps Bret from putting the Figure Four Leg Lock on the ring post on Helmsley.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 29, 1997

Vince McMahon interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in the ring to start the show. Shawn is accompanied by Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna and "Ravishing" Rick Rude. When asked who his benefactor is, Rude says he adheres to strict confidentiality rules and tells Vince that with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin running amok in the World Wrestling Federation, even Vince is in dire need of a serious protection plan and that whether he gets one or not remains to be seen, but reminds him he can pay him now or pay him later. Shawn brags about the attack on The Undertaker last week, then says he doesn't have to get out of Hell In A Cell as he showed everybody last week that the initial outlaws of the WWF - him and Helmsley - "came, saw and kicked the dead man's ass." Helmsley says that the WWF and Vince McMahon have always been afraid of cliques, and says this is one clique he will never break up. He goes on to say he has been sitting back for the last couple of years while Vince and the WWF have "spread their legs like some cheap whore for all the so-called Superstars of the World Wrestling Federation" and that none of them could lace his boots. Instead of waiting for his break, he is now taking it in his hands and there is no stopping them now. He then tells The Undertaker he enjoyed every second of kicking his dead ass all over Madison Square Garden, and the way things are going, both Vince and The Undertaker will be lucky if they make it to the Hell In A Cell, as the ring is now their house and it is now a house of pain. WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter shows up and tells Shawn that 'Taker will be at Badd Blood and wishes Shawn luck that night as he will need it to come out alive. Shawn peeks through the belt and sticks his tongue out at him, and also covers up Helmsley's face with the WWF European Championship as Slaughter speaks to him. Slaughter then tells Helmsley that his luck has run out and that he will face The Undertaker tonight. As Helmsley argues with Slaughter, The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) shows up. Bret tells Helmsley and Shawn that they have more than The Undertaker to worry about and that they have committed crimes against The Foundation. He tells Shawn and Helmsley that they will suffer for them as they have crossed the line and there is no going back. As they leave, Shawn and Helmsley look towards the TitanTron and then at each other multiple times, refusing to take the Foundation seriously as the two of them begin to develop some more humorous, sophomoric mannerisms.

Vader beats The British Bulldog after the rest of The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) attack Vader. The Patriot rushes in to make the save, but he suffers the same fate as Vader as Bret puts him in a Figure Four Leg Lock around the ring post. Vader and Patriot are clocked with a Canadian flag and an American flag, respectively.

Ahmed Johnson is accompanied to the ring by "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) before the next match.

Faarooq beats Ahmed Johnson by disqualification to continue to the finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament. Ahmed slams the steel steps into Faarooq, and when the referee tries to stop him, he gets punched, leading to the disqualification. After the match, Ahmed, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) successfully fight off the rest of The Nation of Domination (D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia).

Further into Evil Dr. Madman's Lazer Tag Zone, Agent Sable faces The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh).

We see another edition of Brian Pillman's XXX Files, and this time Marlena is with him inside of a bed. He has news for the WWF: the two of them will not fight Dude Love at Badd Blood unless restraints are placed on Goldust, even if Goldust has to be handcuffed to the ring, as Pillman knows Goldust will interfere again. Once he is guaranteed that Goldust is restrained, only then will he face Dude Love.

Dude Love guests on commentary for the next match. It is also announced that Goldust and Marlena will renew their wedding vows next week on Raw.

Goldust beats The Sultan. During the match, Dude Love announces that if he beats Brian Pillman at Badd Blood, Goldust will receive a no-disqualification match against Brian Pillman.

It is announced that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has entered the building.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start the second hour. Austin says all he's heard all week is how Vince McMahon has something to say to him, and tells Vince to get in the ring with him. Vince enters the ring, and tells Austin that either he's a certified lunatic or he just doesn't give a damn, and that he doesn't give a damn anymore, either. He allowed WWF officials to be placed in a position of jeopardy just to protect Austin from himself, but it stops right now. Austin tells Vince that if he wants to fire him, then go ahead, as he doesn't care. Vince gives Austin three options: bring the doctor's certificate saying he is medically cleared, return to action if he absolves the WWF of any responsibility in case he gets hurt again, or getting fired. Austin says he would put him in the Stunner again if he wanted to, and says no doctor knows his neck better than he does. He entertains signing a waiver absolving WWF of responsibility before shoving it up Vince's ass. He then threatens to beat Vince's ass worse than it's ever been beaten if Vince fires him, then leaves, but not before giving Vince a heard time again and flipping him off.

Los Boricuas (Jesus Castillo and Jose Estrada, Jr.) beat The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) by disqualification after The Godwinns (Henry O. Godwinn, Phineas I. Godwinn, Uncle Cletus) attack Los Boricuas. The Headbangers retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. The other members of Los Boricuas (Savio Vega and Miguel Perez) rush in to make the save.

Owen Hart shows up with policemen in riot gear, and is also seen wearing a shirt with "Owen 3:16" on the front and "I just broke your neck." on the back. Vince thinks Owen is crazy for wearing such a shirt, and Owens says he can do it again. He says that Faarooq is a great wrestler, but he is confident that he is a better one and the only reason he doesn't hold the Intercontinental Championship is because of his compassion and his stupid mistake, and says that will never again as he wins the title a second time at Badd Blood. He says he knows what kind of lunatic "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and what he is capable of, and says that Austin has ruined his life and he doesn't want it. He says he will beat Faarooq as long as he has a fair shake and Austin isn't around, and demands that the WWF be rid of Austin as he will destroy it. He then says he cannot wait until Badd Blood when he wins the Intercontinental Championship again and Austin is out of the WWF. It is then revealed that Austin is one of the policemen in riot gear, and after Austin hits Owen with the Stone Cold Stunner, the other policemen go after him as he runs into the crowd.

We see some footage of the construction of the cell for the Hell In A Cell Match at Badd Blood.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and The British Bulldog attack The Undertaker as he makes his way to the ring, and The Patriot and Vader rush into to fight Bret and The Bulldog at the entrance ramp. After that brawl makes its way to the back, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley attack The Undertaker on the ramp until The Undertaker fights back. Helmsley finally has his match with 'Taker, but it doesn't last long as "Ravishing" Rick Rude shows up a few minutes later and hits THe Undertaker in the back with his briefcase. Shawn stomps The Undertaker as Rude pulls a bodybag out of the briefcase. Shawn hits The Undertaker with Sweet Chin Music so that Helmsley, Shawn and Chyna can place The Undertaker in the body bag, but even after it's zipped up, The Undertaker gets up and rips his way out of the bag with his bare hands. Helmsley, Shawn and Chyna try to attack 'Taker again, but to no availas 'Taker chases Shawn to the back only to reveal that there is a red light backstage. Shawn climbs up the TitanTron as 'Taker hits Helmsley with a Tombstone Piledriver on the stage.
