During the match, The Union (Mankind, Test, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Big Show) arrive at the arena only to find the door is locked. Soon after this, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn attacks X-Pac until Kane chases him to the back, leaving X-Pac on his own. "Road Dogg" Jesse James soon runs into the ring and takes Kane's place, but The Acolytes get the win. Mideon and Viscera soon show up and attack X-Pac and Road Dogg as Big Show rips the arena entrance door off of its hinges, and when The Union shows up, Mideon, Viscera and The Acolytes flee. Kane soon returns and helps X-Pac to the back. As Road Dogg is not an official participant of this match, X-Pac and Kane retain the WWF Tag Team Championships.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beats Val Venis. During the match, Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up, and Debra gets on the ring apron and distracts Val Venis. When Debra steps off the apron, this allows Billy Gunn to hit the Fameasser for the win. After the match, Billy Gunn continues to attack Val Venis, then Kane shows up. Billy Gunn throws Val Venis into Kane, who choke slams Venis as Billy Gunn leaves. As Kane goes after Billy Gunn, Nicole Bass shows up and gives Val Venis CPR. Val Venis comes to and gets out of the ring when she realizes Nicole Bass is in the ring giving him mouth-to-mouth.

Backstage, Al Snow plays strip poker with the dead deer head and loses his shirt.

Hardcore Holly shows up in a referee's shirt and calls out Al Snow. Al Snow shows up, and Hardcore Holly has stated a Hardcore Championship match has been scheduled tonight as per the "Hardcore Executive Committee," and that it is between Al Snow and Head with him as the special guest referee. Hardcore Holly tells Al Snow that all he has to do is pin Head to become the WWF Hardcore Champion, and then he will get a Hardcore Championship match.

Al Snow beats Head to become the WWF Hardcore Champion after he pins him with the deer head after missing a moonsault through the table. After the match, Al Snow goes through the table with a moonsault.

Backstage, Lucas interviews "Road Dogg" Jesse James. Road Dogg says he may not be 100%, but Triple H could not beat half of him if the other half was helping him, as it will take more than being dropped on his head to stop him from solving some family problems with Triple H.

Triple H beats "Road Dogg" Jesse James. During the match, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn shows up, but gets knocked off the apron and into the barricade. Soon after this, Chyna grabs Road Dogg's legg, distracting Road Dogg and allowing Triple H to hit the Pedigree for the win. After Billy Gunn and Triple H have a brief staredown, Billy Gunn attacks Road Dogg until Kane shows up, and when Billy Gunn leaves, Kane is about to choke slam Road Dogg when X-Pac runs in and tells Kane not to do it.

In backstage footage from moments ago, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn speeds out of the arena parking lot.

Big Show hits Mideon with two choke slams, shoves referee Teddy Long out of the ring, then take the eyeball out of Mideon's jar, squeezes the eye and puts it in Mideon's mouth. Big Show take the microphone and hits Mideon with an elbow drop, then calls The Undertaker out, saying The Undertaker is the only one who can save Mideon from being torn limb from limb. The Undertaker shows up on the TitanTron and tells Big Show to finish it, as Mideon believes so strongly in a cause that he will pay the ultimate price, before telling Big Show that he will meet his destiny. The Undertaker then says he will have to beat "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the WWF Championship in two weeks' time and cause Austin to make the ultimate sacrifice, and that when they do come face to face, he will take Big Show's eye and give it to Mideon for his loyalty. Big Show then grabs Mideon and choke slams him again.
Backstage, The Rock shows up to the arena.

Meat beats Droz. As Meat gets the win, Prince Albert tries to pierce Terri Runnels, but Jacqueline leaps on top of him to stop him. Terri and Jacqueline get back in the ring, and they leap on Droz and Albert to help Meat get out of the ring.

Backstage, The Corporate Ministry has a meeting.

The Rock heads to the ring. He says that he will shove his cast up Triple H's candy ass at Over The Edge for breaking his arm and saying that he does comedy routines. The Corporate Ministry shows up, and Triple H tells The Rock that if he has wound up in a wheelchair, that would not have been good enough for him, and tells him "Your ass is grass." The Rock then dares The Corporate Ministry to get in the ring with him, and they do, overpowering The Rock until The Union (Mankind, Test, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Big Show) show up to fight The Corporate Ministry, ending the show.

X-Pac shows up and Gunn apologizes to him, and X-Pac shakes hands with the Outlaws before announcing that D-Generation X is here to stay. As they leave, Billy Gunn attacks X-Pac from behind, and Road Dogg has to pull Gunn off X-Pac. Suddenly, Kane shows up, and Gunn retreats while Road Dogg continues to check on X-Pac. Kane grabs Road Dogg and choke slams him, then helps X-Pac to the back.

Two limousines pull up, and The Corporate Ministry is seen exiting the limos and entering the arena.

In a 60 Minutes-style segment called "60 Seconds", Michael Cole says that the groundwork of the WWF has been based on the concept of integrity passed along from generation to generation, and for three generations, the pride of the McMahon family name has been held with dignity and honor. He then says that Vince McMahon has never disrespected his father, but times have changed and respect has been thrown out of the window by the fourth generation. We then see Cole's interview with WWF co-owner Shane McMahon from Backlash followed by his actions towards "Stone Cold' Steve Austin, then the scene of The Undertaker driving the limo containing Stephanie McMahon, his kidnapping of Stephanie, the aftermath of it and the creation of The Corporate Ministry.

After the match, The Corporate Ministry shows up and attacks Shamrock and Test, then The Big Boss Man calls out Mankind, saying he knows that he is in the boiler room and that he will find him and take him out for good. Shane McMahon asks if that was a coincidence before The Corporate Ministry leaves.

Big Show is seen entering the arena.

Backstage, The Big Boss Man enter the boiler room and is attacked by Mankind. Both men brawl, and the rest of The Corporate Ministry walk into the room and attack Mankind. Shane McMahon locks the doors to the room from outside to ensure that Mankind does not escape, and soon afterwards, Big Show tears the doors off their hinges and fights off The Corporate Ministry, forcing them to retreat.

Big Show shows up and calls out The Undertaker, saying that if he wants to abduct people and send his goons out to attack others, then he should step up to him and take the ride of his life. The Undertaker and Paul Bearer show up, but so does The Corporate Ministry, who surround and gang up on Big Show. The Undertaker joins in on the attack, then tells Big Show that he is the most powerful force in the WWF, not him, and continues to attack him to give him a reminder.

The Big Show is seen tearing the backstage area apart as he looks for The Undertaker. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon calls the police, saying that Big Show has physically threatened him.

Hardcore Holly shows up with Head. Holly says he came here tonight thinking he would get a shot at the WWF Hardcore Championship, and says that while he was champion, he gave Al Snow more than his fair share of opportunities, and wants to know why their match tonight is a non-title match. Suddenly, Al Snow shows up on the TitanTron, saying Head is the champion, not him, and that Holly having . He then says that Head has ruined his life and forced him to carry a dead deer head around. He then says he has "the coolest thing" that has taken him weeks to find, and proposes giving Holly a peace offering. Suddenly, Al Snow shows up on a toy race car with the dead deer head while Hardcore Holly's old music from his Sparky Plugg gimmick plays. Snow rides down the ramp, then Holly attacks Snow, starting their match, which ends with Hardcore Holly walking away after telling Snow that he will get Head back if he gives him a title shot.

Backstage, Big Show is carrying a 2x4 as he walks to a limousine parked outside of the arena.

Big Show is seen busting out the windows of The Corporate Ministry's limousine outside of the arena. Soon, a police siren is heard, and police officers show up while Shane McMahon orders them to arrest him. Big Show goes peacefully, and allows himself to be arrested.

The Corporate Ministry shows up, and Shane McMahon joins them as soon as everyone else enters the ring. He says that The Corporate Ministry has taken care of "four little nuisances" - Mankind, Test, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and Big Show - and says it is far from over, as The Corporate Ministry's reign will be fierce and they have two more individuals to take care of: The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He says that The Rock is full of himself, and that Triple H is just the man to kick the crap out of him, and that the special guest referee in The Undertaker's match against Austin for the WWF Championship will be himself, due to the "great job" that he did last time. Shane then addresses his father, WWF owner Vince McMahon, saying he has taken his pride and dignity and that he has one thing left to take away from him. Shane then says that if Vince has "the grapefruits," then he will get on his jet and show up tomorrow night to face the music, as The Corporate Ministry reigns supreme.

In memory of Rick Rude, 1958 - 1999.

Before the next match, D'Lo Brown calls out Val Venis, saying that tonight's match was supposed to be a mixed tag match between him and Ivory and the team of Venis and Sable only for Sable to bow out of the match due to "previous Hollywood engagements." D'Lo then says that's not his problem, and tells Venis to replace Sable or else he will have "one hell of a handicap match." Venis shows up and says he may not be a one-man band, but after he is through drumming him solo, he may just let Ivory play with his slide trombone.

Val Venis beats D'Lo Brown and Ivory in a two-on-one handicap match. During the match, Nicole Bass shows up and grabs Ivory by the hair before choke slamming her for the win, making herself Venis' tag team partner in the match in the process. He then says that if Triple H wants to sell out on everything they believed him, it is his business, but he did it at his expense, and tonight, he will find out that his worst enemies are the ones who used to be his friends.

Backstage, Jerry "The King" Lawler interviews Triple H, who said that his recent actions were a long time coming and that X-Pac decided he was the decision maker. He then says that they were D-Generation, and when he wanted to play in the big leagues, it was him who got him over, but when it came time for decisions for him to be made, he thought it was wrong. He then asks X-Pac who told him to think, which he says is not X-Pac's forte, and says that he will be leader, for it is about the pecking order and he will both make and break him.

He says that tonight is the dawning of a new era and the "Shane McMahon 2000 inaugural ball," and in honor of tonight's show, he has created a stipulation for tonight's WWF Championship Match between The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, stating that the match will be decided under no holds barred rules. Shane promises that he will call the match down the middle, then tells "Stone Cold" that if he even so much as lays a hand on him, he will disqualify him on the spot and award the WWF Championship to The Rock. He then asks the fans if they can feel, as his power is in full effect after having seized the power and realized it felt good, then tells his father WWF Chairman Vince McMahon that he is creating a new dynasty for the World Wrestling Federation and a new era and new standard of excellence, and that he is "damn proud of it." Shane then tells Austin that he has been with The Rock day in and day out and knows that The Rock is furious after Austin crushed his $37,000 Lincoln Town Car, and says that it will be electric this evening after what has happened between The Rock and Austin. As Shane finishes talking, a black limousine pulls up outside of the arena, and Vince McMahon comes out of the limo with Stephanie McMahon to end the show.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for April 18, 1999

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Shane says that all week long, insiders have been saying that he would apologize for his actions last week on Raw, then says they are right. He says that he owes his father WWF Chairman Vince McMahon an apology, as he does not lack compassion and feelings and asks the fans what they would do if they "met their maker" like he did, then says it felt great when he reached out and grabbed that power, saying it felt fabulous. Shane says he is proud of what he did, and says he is "the only McMahon with balls the size of grapefruits." He says that in business, one must do everything they have to do and that nothing can get in the way, and while Vince and his sister Stephanie McMahon have gone through some emotional trauma, it is not his problem, for his priorities are this business and The Corporation, and The Corporation will be the most streamlined, omnipotent force in the history of the World Wrestling Federation. He then addresses "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying he is a blue collar worker who likes to get his hands dirty and dive into things, and for that, he is the special guest referee at Backlash. Shane then tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that he did not drown in the water, but at Backlash, he will gasp his last breath when he makes the three count and The Rock becomes WWF Champion again, as he is "the toughest S.O.B. in the WWF."

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats The Corporation (The Big Boss Man and Test) with an ankle lock to Test after The Big Boss Man refuses to let Test tag him in, telling him "You're gonna have to learn the hard way."

Backstage, Lucas interviews X-Pac, saying that Kane has yet to let him down, and is confident that that Kane will show up to the arena tonight.

Tiger Ali Singh shows up. He says that as he looks over "this sea of wasted humanity," he gets the distinct impression that the fans do not like him and think he should be driving a taxi cab, working in a 7-11 or talking in a stereotypical accent due to the way he is dressed. He tells the fans not to hate him for who he is, but to look in the mirror and hate themselves for something they will never be. He says that money is power and that he has plenty of both, then offers $500 in cash to any American woman who will get in the ring, get on her knees and massage his royal feet. Suddenly, PMS (Terri Runnels and Jacqueline) show up, then get down to massage his feet. When Tiger Ali says he will split the money between them, PMS take offense to this and hold Sing down so that a man can come down from the crowd and attack Singh. PMS hold security back, and it is obvious that this man is with PMS.

Jim Ross interviews The Rock, who says that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin makes a big deal about his personal property, calling it "fifteen pounds of metal" that is really "a piece of trash" to him, and says he could care less about Stone Cold's career. He also says he could care less if Stone Cold could swim or not, and says that he has a psychological advantage against Austin, whom he says has "a few pounds of fear" in him after facing him more than anyone else. The Rock says he does not fear Austin, and that he knows Austin like no other. As for the subject of his detractors saying that he cannot beat Austin without WWF co-owner Shane McMahon as special guest referee, The Rock says he does not need anybody to beat Austin, that Shane made himself the special guest referee, and that he could care less who the referee is. He then says that "the trailer park trash fans" behind Austin are the ones questioning his motives. The Rock then says he would do absolutely anything to beat "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, whom he calls "a nothing, a nobody, a peon...an absolute nothing" while calling himself "a man and a half" when told Austin is a man just like him. The Rock then says he plans on becoming WWF Champion for a fourth time and ending Stone Cold's career, and tells Jim Ross to tell Austin that he will not only beat his candy ass, but he will beat him out of the business. The Rock then leaves.

Backstage, X-Pac starts to impatiently look for Kane.

The Brood (Edge, Christian, Gangrel) vs. Mideon and Viscera ends in a no-contest after The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) show up and attack The Brood and aid Viscera in hitting Gangrel with a body splash.

Backstage, Lucas interviews Triple H and Chyna. Triple H says that if X-Pac wants to be a man and face him and The Rock alone, then he will give him everything he deserves and tear him apart, then leave just enough of him for Backlash so he can finish him off.

Michael Cole interviews Sable in the ring. Sable says she is such demand these days that she barely has enough time for her beauty sleep, and that it is not easy being a diva. She then says that "Sable Inc." is the hottest stock on Wall Street and that everyone wants a share, and therefore, in the interest of her own safety, she has hired her own personal bodyguard: the world's largest female bodybuilder, Nicole Bass - the large, muscular woman from last week on Raw. Sable then says that if anybody is thinking about a hostile takeover on "Sable, Inc.," they will have to go through Nicole Bass first.

The Corporation (The Rock and Triple H) vs. X-Pac and Kane ends in a no-contest. X-Pac and Kane retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. Kane shows up shortly after the beginning of the match, then Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett run in and attack Kane. The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) then show up and fight off Owen and Jarrett to make the save for X-Pac and Kane. Afterwards, X-Pac tries to reach out to Kane, telling Kane that he has to trust him before handing him his half of the WWF Tag Team Championships. Kane then raises it up, and the show ends.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for April 11, 1999

X-Pac and Kane show up to start tonight's show. X-Pac says he and Kane are out here because Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart have been running around for the past week "whining and crying like a bunch of whining little bitches" because they were beaten for the WWF Tag Team Championships. He then says that as Jarrett and Owen are complaining about their loss being a fluke, he does not see it that way, and if Jarrett and Owen want to do it one more time, they can do it again right here tonight. Jarrett, Owen and Debra show up, and Jarrett insists X-Pac and Kane's victory was a fluke and that he and Owen are "a well-oiled machine" and had all the teams beaten and were unprepared for them. Jarrett says that X-Pac and Kane have pissed them off and that they will take the tag team titles back, then The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. Road Dogg tells Debra that she and Owen have been "smokin' some of the Dogg's goods" if they think they are the #1 contenders, as they see things a little differently. Road Dogg then says he is glad that Jarrett and Owens "had it oiled up," because it will feel a lot better when the Outlaws kick it to them Doggy-style. Billy Gunn tells X-Pac that they are friends, but business is business, and now that Kane and X-Pac are tag team champions, they have something the Outlaws want, and demand that he and Road Dogg be put on that list tonight. X-Pac admits he was not anticipating a challenge from the Outlaws, then says that Jarrett, Owen and the Outlaws all have got their tag team title shot and proposes that they have a three-way tag team match for the titles.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is seen angry and throwing things backstage on the way to the ring.

We hear from Lucas, who states that he will get a word from The Rock about what he will do with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's custom-made WWF Championship belt.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats Mideon with the ankle lock. During the match, Shamrock demands the whereabouts of his sister Ryan Shamrock from Mideon. After the match, Shamrock refuses to let go of the hold as he demands Ryan's whereabouts, and as referees show up to break the hold, Shamrock breaks the hold and terrorizes all of the referees in sight once again before throwing things around at ringside. Shamrock then takes the microphone and tells The Undertaker that he knows he can hear him and that tomorrow night on Raw, they will both be there and that while business is business, nobody messes with his family or anybody else's, and that he is willing to die for his sister before asking The Undertaker if he is willing to do the same.

Backstage, X-Pac talks with Kane, saying that the past is the past and that if they do not act like a team, they will lose the tag team titles.

Backstage, Lucas interviews The Rock, who tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that it behooves him why Austin wants his custom-made WWF Championship belt back when The Rock should have a custom-made title of his own. He says that Austin is a nobody and that he made him famous, and that Austin was one People's Elbow away from him beating him in the ring. He then says that at Backlash, nothing will change and he will walk out as WWF Champion.

Backstage, Mankind has a birthday cake for Mr. Socko.

Jim Ross announces that WWF Chairman Vince McMahon has made it so that he is coming back to commentary on Raw thanks to the fans' efforts, then interviews Mankind in the ring. Mankind shows up with the birthday cake for Mr. Socko as well as Yurple the Clown while confetti and balloons drop down from the top of the arena. Mankind says the cake should say "Happy Birthplace" and not "Happy Birthday," as it is in Michigan that Mr. Socko was born. Mankind congratulates Al Snow for landing a lucrative deal with Lay-Z-Boy, then leads the crowd into singing "Happy Birthplace" along with Yurple the Clown while asking the crowd not to riot due to his less-than-impressive singing voice. Mankind says he will lock himself in the boiler room in seclusion for two weeks to prepare for his Boiler Room Brawl with Big Show at Backlash. He then says that when the two weeks are up, only one man will walk out. He then "cuts" the cake with Mr. Socko and tosses the cake into the crowd.

X-Pac and Kane retains the WWF Tag Team Championships against The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) and the team of Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart. During the match, Triple H and Chyna are seen watching the match from the stage. Billy Gunn raises X-Pac's hand in victory as the show ends.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for April 4, 1999

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up with Triple H, Chyna and The Rock. Shane says that as a competitor in the World Wrestling Federation, he has nothing else to prove along with an unblemished and undefeated record, and announces that the is retiring the WWF European Championship. As for D-Generation X (X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), the name of the group belongs to Triple H. Triple H calls the boos "music to [his] ears," and says that the DX name, logo, music, crotch chop, two words and attitude are all his, and when he got done carrying "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, he and Chyna picked the rest of the group up - which he refers to as "The 1-2-3 Kid", "The Real Jesse James" and "Rockabilly" - and carried them for twelve months. He says that the rest of the group wanted to be "cool," "big time" and "over," and while he made them "cool" and "big time" and got them "over," they made the DX Army, because without them, it's "Just three little boys running around playing G.I. Joe in their back yard." He then tells DX that if they want a war, then they have come to the right place, because they've got one, and that he will break X-Pac down at Backlash. Shane says that since his father has other things on his mind, it is time for him to take on some newfound responsibility, starting with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He says that Austin was looking for something last week on Raw, and that it is around The Rock's shoulder right now, and when he tried to get it back, it did not happen. Shane then rules that if Austin wants it back, he will have to beat The Rock in a rematch for the WWF Championship at Backlash. He then says a match of that magnitude needs a special guest referee, and the referee for that match will be none other than himself. The Rock tells Austin that he wants and wants, but he wants something, too: the WWF Championship. The Rock then says some people say he is an icon, that some say that he is immortal and that some say that he is already legendary, but he will say that he is without a shadow of a doubt "the best damn WWF champ there ever was." He says that he will take his right hand and commence to kick his roody-poo candy ass at Backlash and guarantees that he will prove to Austin and the millions of his fans exactly why he is "The Great One", and says that the one things Austin will hear is the sickening sound of him shoving his foot in and out of his candy-ass. Shane then announces that he has a special present for "The Big Show" Paul Wight" tomorrow night, and he will stick his newfound authority down his throat.

WWF CHairman Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon are seen talking to Jerry "The King" Lawler via satellite from Grennwich, Connecticut.

Tori beats Jacqueline by disqualification after Terri Runnels grabs Tori by the hair. After the match, Jacqueline continues to attack Tori, and hits her with a op rope splash. Ivory shows up and confronts Terri, but Jacqueline attacks her from behind. Regeree Jimmy Korderas keeps Terri from burning Ivory with her cigar again.

Backstage, Lucas interviews Val Venis, who says he wants to make one thing clear before Ryan Shamock shows up. Ryan says she was hoping that you would come home, but Val Venis tells her it was real and it was good, but it was never real good.

Val Venis beats "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman. After the match, Black attacks Venis from behind and strikes him with Kendo sticks, causing several referees to show up.

We see a black-and-white shot of the Cleavage house.

Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up. Owen asks for some competition, and Jarrett says they are standing in the ring tonight as WWF Tag Team Championship with virtually no competition. He issues an open challenge to anyone who has the guts to face them in the ring. The open challenge is answered by Kane, who suddenly shows up in the middle of the ring. Jarrett and Owen retreat, and Jarrett tells Kane they will see him later for the WWF Tag Team Championships.

The Big Boss Man beats Droz. During the match, The Big Boss Man rips Droz's nose ring out and hands it to the announce table.

Backstage, a doctor tends to Droz's nose.

Jerry "The King' Lawler interviews WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon in Greenwich, Connecticut. Stephanie says she does not really remember all that much about what happened to her last Monday, and Vince says this has started some time ago and that Stephanie has endured this pain for some time. He says it started with the envelope containing candid shots of Stephanie McMahon in public as well as at home, all of which invaded her privacy. Vince then brings up the teddy bear that was given to Stephanie as a present as a very young child. Stephanie says that when she came back home the other night, she found strange things written on her mirror and that somet personal things were messed with, and says it is very uncomfortable that someone has been watching her. Vince says he thought he knew The Undertaker, but The Undertaker has changed and is becoming this creature with other people following him. He does not know what The Undertaker wants, as he has known him for a long time, and says he has no idea where his transformation is going. Vince says this is personal now, and that he is a business man. Stephanie says she has known The Undertaker, too, and says she never really known him due to the sudden transformation. Stephanie says she only feels safe when she is with her father Vince, and Vince says that if this does not stop, somebody is going to get hurt, and he will be damned if it is his daughter.

Kane beats Jeff Jarrett and Owen by disqualification after Jarrett hits Kane in the back of the head with a guitar to no effect. After the match, Owen and Jarrett continue to attack Kane, but X-Pac makes the save and fights alongside Kane. Kane grabs X-Pac for a choke slam, but lets go.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for March 28, 1999

WWF owner Vince McMahon and "The Big Show" Paul Wight show up. Vince says that WrestleMania conjures up images of larger-than-life competitors, extravagant pageantry and great personal sacrifice that sometimes results in either resounding defeat or even greater victory and triumph. He says that the images of this year's WrestleMania will equal, if not surpass, the images of all others; however, there are some who has hoped, dreamed and prayed that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will become WWF Champion. He says that these people are in for a major disappointment, for there is a new provision in the WWF Championship match in which there will be no disqualifications, The Rock is the better man and a sleeping giant has been awakened following the steel chair shots from Austin to Paul Wight, who will be refereeing the match. Wight tells Austin that all bets are off, and if he wanted his attention, he has got it, and that is not necessarily a good thing. He then clues Austin on what he will do with him by telling Mankind's mother to remember what her son looked like before he left home, because he will come back home looking like it. As for Mankind, he knows that Mankind loves pain, and says that Mankind will love what he has in store for him tonight. He calls Mankind an idiot that he has cut through like grass in order to do his job - protect the WWF Championship and keep it around The Rock's waist - which he will do with extreme prejudice. As for Austin, he is not afraid of rattlesnakes and likes to crush and eviscerate them to make key chains and boots out of them. He tells Austin that he is on his time tonight, and when he walks into the arena, he will find out if he really is the toughest S.O.B. in the WWF or if he is just selling T-shirts by waiting for him at the back door, where he will beat him up, toss him into the ring and have The Rock beat him to keep the WWF Championship. He says this is not the bottom line, but the last word. Vince says there is "no chance in Hell" that Austin will win the WWF Championship tonight.

Backstage, WWF owner Vince McMahon asks Pat Patterson to protect his daughter Stephanie McMahon, then tells "The Big Show" Paul Wight that even though he appreciates his intensity, he has to have a main event tonight.

Terri Runnels guests on commentary for the next match.

Jacqueline beats Ivory, then Terri Runnels burns Ivory with a cigarette. Tori runs in to chase Terri and Jacqueline out of the ring.

Rodney, Billy P, Willie Green and Pete Gas of The Mean Street Posse are in the front row.

Big Show is seen waiting for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at the back door.

D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. Triple H tells Kane that if he wants to play with matches tonight, then he should think back to last week, as he proved who has the biggest flame. He says that whether it is throwing punches or throwing fire, Kane will get in his battlefield tonight and he will go down in a blaze of glory. Road Dogg says that in his match, he has "a nut, a slut and ["The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken] Shamrock with his head up his butt." He says that it is like a Steve Gutenberg movie, but instead of "three men and a baby," it is "three men and the D-O-Double G," and he welcomes his opponents to the Dogg House. Billy Gunn says that if Road Dogg thinks he has problems, then he has a Triple Threat Match with "Mr. Rodgers and a goof who talks to a head," and he is fixing to unload a whole lot of "Badd Ass" on them, and it will be long and hard and it will get nasty. X-Pac tells Shane McMahon that he may be the boss' son, but tonight, he will pay some dues that he has never paid in his entire life. He says he is through talking about things, and tonight, his ass is grass and he is going to smoke it.

You can win a limited first edition copy of the Undertaker comic book by sending your cable or satellite bill to the address on your screen. Requests must be received by May 31, 1999. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. One request per household while supplies last.

Lucas interviews The Rock backstage. The Rock says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin wishes "The Big Show" Paul Wight was on his side and not The Rock's, then tells Austin that he will go out there and lay the smack down on Austin's candy ass.

Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett and Debra guest on commentary for the next match.

D'Lo Brown and Test are the last two men left standing in the ring in the Invitational Battle Royal. As per pre-match stipulation, they will face Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett for the WWF Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 15. During the match, Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Flyboy Rocco), not surprisingly, are the first team eliminated as soon as they enter the ring. After the match, Jarrett and Owen attack D'Lo and Test.

"The Big Show" Paul Wight is still waiting at the back door.

Michael Cole interviews The Big Boss Man in the ring. The Big Boss Man says his match tonight is a challenge, but a challenge he relishes, as he has spent more time in a cell than The Undertaker has spent walking the face of the earth. He says that Hell In A Cell is his home and a dangerous place, and tonight, he will make The Undertaker live up to his "Deadman" nickname. The lights then go out, and The Undertaker's voice is heard telling Boss Man that not only is he facing a phenom tonight, but he is also facing an entire movement of darkness and he will be his personal escort through the darkness and straight to Hell, as Boss Man cannot stand between them and he owns the key to his soul. Boss Man is then attacked by The Brood (Gangrel, Edge and Christian), and when the lights come back on, he is covered in blood.

Backstage, "The Big Show" Paul Wight is seen throwing things around.

Backstage, Mankind enters the arena through the back door, where "The Big Show" Paul Wight is waiting. This quickly leads to a brawl between the two men that ends the show. As both men fight, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin enters the arena in the background under The Big Show's nose.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for March 21, 1999

The Corporation (The Rock, Big Boss Man, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Test, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco) shows up to start tonight's show. The Rock says that WWF owner Vince McMahon is not here, but he is, and that the WWF Championship is symbolic of being "The Great One;" therefore, he calls all the shots tonight. He then says there has been a lot of questioning about him, then mouths off at Patterson and Brisco for saying he has paranoia towards Big Show, threatening to end Test's career, telling Shamrock he has beaten him "from January to January" and accusing The Big Boss Man of wanting to be him before telling him he cannot do it. The Big Boss Man tells The Rock to be paranoid on his own time, not his, for his time is hard time and he is very close to crossing the line with him. The Rock takes this as a challenge, and threatens to not only cross that line, but he will shove his nightstick up his rectum. Everyone else in The Corporation has to keep The Big Boss Man away from The Rock, much to the chagrin of Shane McMahon, who is on commentary.

Backstage, Al Snow tells Head they do not have a nicer ass than "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, and that they do not even have an ass at all.

Backstage, Shane McMahon talks with The Rock, who says he is not paranoid and that he is the smartest man walking. He tells Shane to handle his own affairs while he takes care of his own in his own way, much to Shane's chagrin.

Hardcore Holly guests on commentary for the next match.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against Al Snow after Hardcore Holly hits Al Snow with a steel chair.

Backstage, The Rock admires a painting of himself when Test shows up. Test tells The Rock that The Big Boss Man is in a foul mood and that he should not take him on, but The Rock refuses to listen to him.

Backstage, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock tells The Big Boss Man that his match against The Rock tonight is a bad idea, but Boss Man says it was not a good idea to get in his face, and that he should be paranoid on his own time, not his, because his time is hard time.

We see a video package of X-Pac chronicling his time in WWE since he returned after WrestleMania 14 as well as his current opinions on Chyna (he has no idea where her head is at after joining The Corporation) and Shane McMahon (saying that he is not a wrestler and that he is going to hurt him).

We see a vignette of Rodney and Willie Green of The Mean Street Posse talking about how tough they and Shane McMahon are and how nobody are.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. "Road Dogg" Jesse James for the WWF Intercontinental Championship ends after Val Venis gets involved in the match. "Road Dogg" Jesse James retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Val Venis brawls with Road Dogg while Goldust shows up and brawls with Ken Shamrock. Referees have to break the brawls up as Goldust and The Blue Meanie take Shamrock to the back.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams quickly beats The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

A limousine pulls up outside of the arena.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats The Godfather.

Big Show is seen exiting the limousine and entering the arena.

Before the next match, it is announced that Mankind, Sable, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock are on the four collectible covers of this week's TV Guide, now available everywhere.

. During the match, the lights go out and The Undertaker's music hits, and when the lights go out , The Ministry of Darkness attcks The Big Boss Man. The Rock leaves with the WWF Championship, but he runs into The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Big Show walks up the ramp to stand with The Rock, much to The Rock's chagrin, and the show ends.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for March 14, 1999

WWF owner Vince McMahon and "The Big Show" Paul Wight show up to start tonight's show. Vince announces that due to incarceration, The Undertaker will not be here tonight; however, those at home can enjoy The Undertaker on Poltergeist: The Legacy immediately after the show on USA Network, and jokes that it could be The Undertaker's future before saying that The Undertaker cannot threaten him and get away with it. As far as The Rock is concerned, The Rock is scheduled to be here and that will have the opportunity to successfully explain the role of Paul Wight in The Corporation to The Rock. He then introduces Mankind to the ring, and Mankind shows up. Vince applauds Mankind on his efforts as of late and says that he keeps his word as far as a WrestleMania opportunity is concerned, then says there is just one more thing that he would like Mankind to do: defeat Paul Wight in one-on-one competition at WrestleMania. He states that the winner of that match will be the undisputed special guest referee in the WWF Championship Match at WrestleMania 15. Mankind tells Vince that he felt bad for him and that maybe Vince had a little bit of heart, but after doing everything Vince has asked him to do, Vince wants to throw a swerve. He says that if a McMahon always stands behind his word, then a Foley always stands behind his sock. Mankind goes for a Mandible Claw on Vince, but Big Show clobbers Mankind from behind.

Mankind is seen in the ring with some referees, which he then attacks. One of the referees is given the Mandible Claw, then Mankind scares Shane McMahon out of the commentary table before stating that he is not waiting until WrestleMania and demanding a match with "The Big Show" Paul Wight tonight or else he will get a piece of WWF owner Vince McMahon. When Test comes out for his match, Mankind attacks him before heading to the back. X-Pac guests on commentary for the next match, but it isn't long before Shane McMahon shows up and slides the WWF European Championship into the ring for Test to use as a weapon. X-Pac chases Shane back to the back, then gets in the ring and fights Test, and Test beats D'Lo Brown by disqualification.

Mankind is seen backstage hunting for "The Big Show" Paul Wight with a steel chair in his hands. Meanwhile, WWF owner Vince McMahon tells Paul Wight to hide from Mankind, despite Paul Wight wanting to fight Mankind backstage. Paul Wight punches a hole in the wall and reluctantly does as Vince says.

Before the next match, Mankind returns to the ring with a steel chair and attacks Al Snow with it. Shane McMahon hides behind Kevin Kelly on commentary as Mankind continues to attack Al Snow. Droz shows up and stomps on Al Snow, but Mankind lays him out with a steel chair before hitting Droz with a double arm DDT onto the chair. Mankind then grabs the microphone and tells WWF owner Vince McMahon they can do this, and that he is even enjoying this just a little bit. However, if "The Big Show" Paul Wight won't come to him, he will come for Paul Wight. Vince and Paul Wight show up on the TitanTron, and Vince tells Mankind to wait until WrestleMania for all the Big Show he wants, and that he shouldn't push his luck. Mankind says he will get Paul Wight, and it will be tonight.

Val Venis and Hardcore Holly beat The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) in mere seconds. After the match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James tells Venis it's not his belt that he wants, but "the ass that holds it up," and his lesson in humility is over as of now after humiliating him on Heat. He then says it is his turn on Raw, then challenges him for the WWF Intercontinental Championship on Raw, anyway. Billy Gunn says that if Road Dogg wants a shot at the Intercontiental Championship, then he challenges Hardcore Holly for the WWF Hardcore Championship on Raw.

Mankind storms the locker room demanding to know where "The Big Show" Paul Wight is before attacking The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and another person. Meanwhile, "The Big Show" Paul Wight says he will show his fist down Mankind's throat and do what WWF owner Vince McMahon paid him to do. Vince tells him he will think about it.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Flyboy Rocco). Rocco says they felt and got the message from The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) last week, then he and Johnny Grunge are attacked by The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) before referees try to break up the attack.

Backstage, Mankind asks Jim Ross to keep an eye out for "The Big Show" Paul Wight.

The Rock enters the arena while giving the man carrying his bags a hard time.

We see footage of Bart Gunn training for his boxing match against Butterbean at WrestleMania 15.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews The Rock. The Rock says tonight, he wants no excuses and that he will get answers from WWF owner Vince McMahon.

Tiger Ali Singh is in the ring. He calls the fans "egomaniacs" and says that they are so concerned with focusing the attention on themselves that nothing else matters, and says that Jim Ross came to the ring with his black cowboy hat and his "half face" and embarrassed himself in front of a national audience because of his ego, and says it was so ridiculous and ludicrous and yet it entertained him so much that it gave him an idea. He announces that tonight, he will offer $500 to come into the ring and do a Jim Ross impression. He pulls a black cowboy hat out of a shopping bag, then picks out a man in all black to head to the ring. (This man is played by none other than WWF writer Ed Ferrara, who would later do this again with the "Oklahoma" character in World Championship Wrestling.) The man does a spot-on impression of Jim Ross, who shows up with "Dr. Death" Steve Williams. Williams suplexes the man, then hits Tiger Ali Singh with the Doctor Bomb.

After the match, Jim Ross says that he wants to go back to work tomorrow and says that upper management will not move them out of the ring as they have something to say. Tomorrow, they will be at Raw. As Jim Ross speaks, WWF owner Vince McMahon tells "The Big Show" Paul Wight to take his anger out on Jim Ross, and to beat up Mankind if he shows up, too. As Jim Ross says that he will be back on the commentary table sooner rather than later, Big Show shows up and Jim Ross leaves the ring. Suddenly, The Rock shows up, and Vince McMahon shows up as The Rock tells Big Show that he has three seconds to leave before he lays the smack down on him. The Rock then slaps Big Show before punching him, and both The Rock and Big Show fight. Big Show is about to choke slam The Rock when Mankind hits him with a steel chair, but it has little effect and Big Show punches Mankind through the chair before choke slamming him down on it. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin then shows up and contemplates the idea that he and Big Show are in this together before saying there will be no "what if's" at WrestleMania and that he will become the next WWF Champion. All of a sudden, Big Show lifts up the ring while The Rock is still in it to end the show.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for March 7, 1999

The Rock shows up to start tonight's show. He says that at WrestleMania 15, he and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be in what will prove to be the most electrifying match in sports entertainment. He says that Austin will go one-on-one with the Great One, and after WrestleMania, he will prove why he is The Great One and Austin is not. He says it is humanly and genetically impossible for him to ever like Austin, as there is a deep-seated heated between him and Austin, and as far as he is concerned, the greatest book ever written is "The Rock vs. Stone Cold," and that the beauty of it is that there are infinite chapters and he will be kicking Austin's monkey ass all over God's green earth. The Rock says that when all is said and done, Austin will thank him for the memories and The Rock will thank him for being "the biggest piece of Texas trailer park trash walking God's blue heaven. The Rock then addresses the special guest referee situation, saying he does not care who the special guest referee is due to Paul Wight's questionable actions in the last two weeks, and says WWF owner Vince McMahon has the answers to all his questions.

Backstage, Paul Wight is approached by Howard Finkel, who tells him that The Rock has "buried [him] with a ton of dirt." Paul Wight says he will have to have a talk with The Rock.

Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Flyboy Rocco) vs. The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) ends with The Acolyte decimating Public Enemy with steel steps, steel chairs and a wooden table. The assault ends with both members of Public Enemy being whipped into steel steps held by Faarooq before Flyboy Rocco is hit with a Dominator.

Backstage, Paul Wight is seen looking for The Rock.

Backstage, The Rock is on the phone when Howard Finkel tells him that Paul Wight is angry and looking for him. The Rock says he is not too hard for anyone to find, unaware that Howard Finkel is stirring the pot.

Kurt Angle, a United States Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, is seen in the front row before the next match.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James beats Jeff Jarrett. During the match, Owen Hart shows up to attack Road Dogg from the top rope, but someone dressed as The Blue Blazer shakes the top rope to knock Owen off before hitting Jarrett with a spinebuster as Debra distracts Road Dogg and referee Tim White. After The Blue Blazer leaves, Road Dogg turns around and get the win. After the match, The Blue Blazer unmasks, and he is revealed to be D'Lo Brown.

Last Thursday afternoon in New York City, Sable held an autograph session for the cover of the newest Playboy magazine, which features Sable on the front cover.

Backstage, The Rock is seen looking for Paul Wight.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and Goldust beat Val Venis and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn in a quick tag team match that also sees Ryan Shamrock shows up. After the match, Ryan runs away with Goldust and The Blue Meanie, Ken Shamrock runs after them, then Billy Gunn and Val Venis brawl as referees rush into to separate both men.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, but Val Venis, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and Goldust run in, continuing a brawl between all four men that referees have to break up.

Tiger Ali Singh shows up with the Indian Flag in one hand and another item rolled up on a stick in the other. He says that the American patriotism that the fans cherish deep in their hearts is renowned throughout the entire world, and he knows that American patriotism is a sham. He says that the only thing Americans cherish is cold, hard cash, and tonight, he will offer anyone in attendance $500 to come in the ring and blow their nose in the other item he has brought into the ring: the American flag. He then mentions that "a genuine American hero," "a local boy" and "an Olympic gold medalist" is in attendance tonight, and he notices Kurt Angle in the front row, telling him to get in the ring and prove his American patriotism. Angle climbs over the barricade, and proposes $500 in cash to blow his nose in the American flag. Angle tells him "No chance," but Tiger Ali Singh says there is a really good chance and ups the offer to $2,000. Angle tells him "Forget about it," and Tiger Ali Singh mocks him before upping the offer again to $5,000. Angle accepts, then places his nose in the American flag. As soon as Tiger Ali Singh turns his back, Angle grabs the Indian flag and blows his nose in it. Tiger Ali Singh attacks Angle with the American flag, but when it has no effect and Tiger Ali Singh eggs him on, Kurt Angle hits Tiger Ali Singh with a belly-to-belly suplex and a hip toss before Tiger Ali Singh retreats.

The Big Boss Man beats Al Snow as Snow tries to use Head as a weapon. After the match, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) show up and go after The Big Boss Man, and Boss Man manages to hold them at bay as he makes his way to the ramp.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen entering the arena.

Paul Wight shows up. He calls out The Rock, saying what he is cooking smells "a lot like BS" to him. He says that WWF owner Vince McMahon is not here, and The Rock is in so much trouble, as he was hired to protect the WWF Championship from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He tells The Rock that if he wants answers, then he should step in his world and face him like a man. The Rock shows up and tells Paul Wight there is nobody that calls him out and lives to tell about it, and says Paul Wight wants to be like him but is nothing more than a roody-poo candy ass. As The Rock and Paul Wight stare down, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's music hits, and Paul Wight goes up the right to head Austin off at t he pass. Instead of coming out down the ramp, he comes out from the crowd and hits The Rock with a Stone Cold Stunner to end the show.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for February 28, 1999

Note: During the show, there were technical difficulties due to the mix of rain and snow in Dayton, Ohio, and only the audio could be heard. After Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) vs. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett, last week's episode of Sunday Night Heat was broadcast, with the results of the rest of the current show being available on WWF.com. When the episode was brought to the WWE Network, the episode appeared as intended to be shown with the aforementioned technical difficulties absent.

The show begins with Gillberg heading to the ring for a match only for him and his security team to be attacked by Chyna. Chyna makes her way to the ring, laying out Gillberg and the two men carrying sparklers on the stage before entering the ring and telling "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley - who is in the locker room watching the show with X-Pac - that he has laid his hands on her for the last time. She says that while her time is valuable, Triple H does not add up to the price anymore and that she will finish this one-on-one once and for all. She started this story, and now she plans to end it by knocking Triple H stiff. Triple H tells X-Pac that if Chyna wants her, she's got it.

Backstage, Shane McMahon tells Chyna that she will annihilate "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Chyna responds by grabbing Shane by the shirt collar, shoving him against the wall and telling him that she will kill Triple H.

Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) beat Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett. During the match, D'Lo Brown and Ivory show up, distracting Owen Hart and Debra and allowing The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball) to attack Owen as referee Jimmy Korderas is pre-occupied with Jeff Jarrett and Scott Taylor outside of the ring. After the match, D'Lo takes the microphone and says it is not over between them, Debra, Owen and Jarrett, then says Ivory has something to say to Jacqueline. Ivory says that last week, Jacqueline put her hands on D'Lo, and while D'Lo is a gentleman, she is not and she will put her hands on her. Ivory gives Jacqueline two minutes to get in the ring as she takes off her jacket to reveal a purple bustier underneath. After the commercial break, Ivory and D'Lo are still waiting for Jacqueline.

The newest issue of Playboy with Sable on the cover - and nude inside of the magazine - will be on newsstands next week.

Jacqueline and Terri Runnels show up, and Ivory and Jacqueline immediately go at it.

Ivory beats Jacqueline with a DDT after rolling out of the way of a top rope splash from Jacqueline.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Kurrgan, who is with the rest of The Oddities (Golga, Giant Silva, George "The Animal" Steele). Kurrgan says he just wants to dance with The Undertaker.

WrestleMania 15 is only four weeks away!

The Blue Meanie is seen feeding Goldust grapes backstage.

The Undertaker quickly beats Kurrgan. After the match, The Ministry of Darkness outnumber and overpower the rest of The Oddities (Golga, Giant Silva, George "The Animal" Steele) in the ring as they try to check on Kurrgan, all while The Undertaker watches. The Undertaker then tells WWF owner Vince McMahon that he was informed that Vince was unable to be here tonight, and says that word will get back to him about the carnage The Ministry they leave here tonight that is a reminder that tomorrow night, he has something in store for Vince. He also tells Vince he will own the WWF just like he owns Vince: mind, body and soul.

Michael Cole interviews Goldust and The Blue Meanie in the ring. Goldust questions Michael Cole's morality when he calls their alliance a "relationship," and when told that he has had an effect on The Blue Meanie, Goldust responds that maybe The Blue Meanie has had an effect on him. He says that The Blue Meanie wants to be like him, as he idolizes him like a son would to his father, and says that while he may not be The Meanie's real father, he "could be his mommy," saying he could care for him and shield him from all of "the evil, angry place in which we live." He then buries Michael Cole's head into his chest as he says that when The Meanie's head is nuzzled deep between his bosom, then and only then, he knows that "his mommy is here," and tells Michael Cole to re-examine his values when Cole says that he is sick. Goldust says that he is not The Blue Meanie's mother yet, but he can already feel the labor pains. Goldust and The Blue Meanie then crawl out of the ring together.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman, who is in a Kendo Stick Match against Droz tomorrow night on Raw. He questions Droz's audacity for challenging him to such a match and says he is "The Lethal Weapon" for a reason. He is then attacked from behind by Droz with a Kendo stick.

Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Flyboy Rocco) beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after putting Matt Hardy through a table. At the beginning of the match, The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) show up on the stage to watch the match from a distance, distracting Public Enemy at the beginning. After the match, The Brood attacks Public Enemy as referees run in to restore order.

Before the next match begins, X-Pac chases Shane McMahon around the ring and into the crowd, distracting "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and allowing Chyna to land the first blow. As Triple H hits the facebreaker knee smash and goes for the Pedigree, the lights go out and Kane shows up. Triple H lets go of Chyna to confront Kane, but Chyna hits Triple H with the low blow from behind and Kane hits Triple H with two choke slams followed by a Tombstone Piledriver to end the show.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for February 21, 1999

WWF owner Vince McMahon and Kane show up to start tonight's show, and Vince is seen carrying an envelope with him. Vince says that WrestleMania is in five weeks, and in five weeks, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will attempt to win the WWF Championship against The Rock, and that Paul Wight will be the special guest referee for the match. Vince tells Austin that there is a price to pay for getting in his face, and that The Undertaker has not learned that yet, saying 'Taker's comments have not fallen under deaf ears even though he was distracted by Austin. He says that The Ministry of Darkness taking over the WWF is a pretty tall order, but he hears The Undertaker loud and clear following the abduction of The Big Boss Man and his son Shane McMahon, the latter being humiliated and made into "an errand boy" by The Undertaker. Vince says he has read the contents of the envelope in his hand, and tells The Undertaker that he does not threaten him like he did, as he will not stand idly by. He then announces that on Raw, The Undertaker will be in an Inferno Match against Kane, saying it will not stop until The Undertaker is set on fire. Vince says the hell that The Undertaker knows will soon seem like Heaven for threatening him like he did, and Kane summons fire that envelopes the ring as Vince tells The Undertaker to burn in Hell.

Backstage, Shane McMahon runs up and down a small step of stairs while being coached by Chyna.

Mankind is seen entering the arena.

Darren "Puke" Drozdov guests on commentary for the next match despite being suspended from the World Wrestling Federation.

Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) and The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball) beat The Oddities (Kurrgan, Golga, Giant Silva, George "The Animal" Steele). During the match, it is announced that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will guest on The Howard Stern Show tomorrow morning.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn is seen making out with Ryan Shamrock backstage.

WrestleMania 15 is five weeks away!

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. The Godfather ends in a no-contest. During the match, Ryan Shamrock shows up with "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, and Ken Shamrock attacks Billy Gunn before taking Ryan to the back.

Before the next match, Shane McMahon promises to defend the WWF European Championship against any and all comers any time and anywhere, and demands that his first opponent be brought out. His first opponent is none other than Gillberg.

Shane McMahon retains the WWF European Championship against Gillberg by using the European title as a weapon following a Spear by Gillberg as Chyna distracts the referee. After the match, Gillberg goes for another Spear only to run into Chyna with no effect and fall victim to the Pedigree. Afterwards, X-Pac shows up and says he could have sworn that Shane said against any competitors, anytime and anywhere. He entertains kicking his ass right here and now, but proposes they have a match at WrestleMania 15 so the whole world can watch him destroy Shane. Chyna tells X-Pac he does not get to the champ that easily, and if he wants to go through Shane, he'll have to get through her on Raw. X-Pac says he swore he would never hit a woman, but he is man enough and so is Chyna, and he accepts her challenge.

Backstage, Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett and Debra are seen having a private conversation, much to the chagrin of Owen Hart.

Al Snow beats D'Lo Brown with head after Debra shows up and distracts referee Teddy Long, allowing Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett to attack D'Lo from behind at ringside. After the match, Owen and Jarrett continue to attack D'Lo Brown.

Log on to the biggest spectacle in sports entertainment at WrestleManiaXV.com!

Mankind shows up. He says he feels just a little bit naked coming out without the WWF Championship, and if he is not sure if this is a very good thing. As he laid in his hotel room, he began to think that WrestleMania was his best shot at giving the fans a match they would never forget, and he feels that it has been taken away from him, and at this time next year, he is not sure if he will be around to wrestle. He has begun plans for after he is done wrestling in the WWF, but has nothing on his resume other than get hit in the head with steel chairs for the last fifteen years. Some of his ideas including becoming a mailman (though he feels he does not look good in shorts), a jet pilot (though he does not like the taste of hard liquor) or even going to World Championship Wrestling (although he's not old enough to head there quite yet). However, he knows what to do and where to do it, and says that the main event of WrestleMania 15 is crying for two referees, as he is universally respected and can count to three in four different languages. He then shows the petition that has been in his hand all along and asks for WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels to give him the job and the Chatanooga, Tennessee crowd to give him 10,000 signatures so that the fans can send Mankind to WrestleMania.

Viscera vs. The Big Boss Man ends in a no-contest. During the match, The Big Boss Man summons Kane, Test and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock to attack Viscera along with him, then the lights go out and fire envelopes the ring while The Ministry of Darkness is at ringside. The Undertaker tells The Corporation (Boss Man, Kane, Test, Shamrock) to deliver a message to Vince McMahon: he may burn in Hell, but if he does, Vince McMahon will go with him.

Vince gives Austin one last chance to break his contract tonight before they go to the cage, as he has big plans and he doesn't want to execute them. Meanwhile, Austin - who has been watching backstage - responds by throwing the monitor he has been watching the show on at the wall.

There are a few other women lined up near the wall, and The Rock tells them they are the largest collection of "female two dollar skanks" he has ever seen and tells them all to leave.

"The King" Jerry Lawler shows up. He introduces Debra to the ring, and Debra says she is about to make Ivory an offer she cannot refuses before calling her out. Ivory shows up, and Debra admits that they both got off on the wrong foot, she is not done with her. Instead of a regular tag match, she proposes a six-person tag match. Ivory says the title match will happen, and her man will take Debra's "boys" down. Also, if she sees Debra near D'Lo Brown or "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, she will rip her clothes right off of her back. This leads to a catfight between Debra and Ivory, and Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett, D'Lo and Mark Henry have to separate both women.

Backstage, The Iron Shiek swings his Persian clubs over his head.

Vince says that when he thinks about Austin, one word comes to mind: hate, as he loathes the ground that Austin walks on. Vince says that if Austin makes him do what he has to do, then he will do it with as much hate as he possibly can, and gives him ten more seconds to make his way to the ring. Instead of Austin, however, he gets WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, who has not been seen since the assault on him by The Corporation. He tells him that if he wants to get someone's attention, he should whisper, but that would be a waste of both their time and he would rather punch Vince in the face. After Vince accuses Shawn of hiding Austin behind his back, Austin shows up, and Vince dares Austin to break his contract and hit him while Shawn tris to dissuade him. Vince then spits in Austin's face, then Austin tells him he will wipe the spit on his shirt off with Vince's blood to end the show.

The Corporation (WWF owner Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Chyna) show up to start tonight's show. Vince says that next week at St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Chyna will step into the ring. He hopes that this does not upset Chyna, as he is a fair and equitable human being and that it would be unfair for Chyna to face "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley one-on-one as she would utterly humiliate him like he has never been humiliated before. Vince than announces that in the interests of fairness, Triple H will have a tag team partner in X-Pac. Chyna will also get a tag team partner in the form of Kane. Vince then announces that there will be several massacres next week, and calls Mankind nothing more than a thief for stealing $100,000 from Shane's trust fund and blackmailed The Rock into a match for the WWF Championship, which The Rock would still have if not for Mr. Socko and a forklift. Nevertheless, Vince is confident that The Rock will regain the WWF Championship next week while Mankind will never wrestle again due to being massacred and butchered so badly by The Rock that he may never walk again. Vince then focuses on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying Austin displayed "stone cold fear" when he walked away from him, and while Austin is not afraid of him, he is afraid of defeat and history repeating itself since it eats him alive how he beat him to win the Royal Rumble Match. He tells Austin to put up his #1 contender's spot at WrestleMania, as he has a plan and he is going to defeat him one week from tonight, massacring his career. In order to make sure Austin is ready for his match, he puts Austin in a warm-up non-title match against Mankind on Saturday, then wishes Austin and Mankind a happy Valentine's Day.

We see the empty arena where Mankind vs. The Rock in an Empty Arena Match will take place. She says that she was the force behind D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), who also wanted to get ahead, and she carried them on her back for almost two years. Unfortunately, she got no gratification and DX did not do anything for her. At Royal Rumble, Vince approached her to join the Corporation, saying that Chyna has something they wanted and needed. Chyna mentions that Vince shows appreciation for her, and says that Vince was willing to give in order to get. She then says it is all about the almighty dollar, and that "the buck stops here." She says that she has her appreciation for DX "right here," and that she can buy and sell them now like a bunch of cheap whores. Suddenly, DX shows up, and Triple H tells Shane he did a good job on putting one over on them, but tells him it will never happen again. He then tells Chyna that she wanted to be treated like an equal from the start, and he and everyone else in DX did it; the problem was that they were never equals as the four of them are men, and no matter how badly Chyna wanted "a set," she could never get them. He then says Chyna was right to say it was all about the money, as she is nothing but a two-dollar whore. X-Pac takes the microphone and tells Shane that if he wanted to get a bronco ride on him, then he will get his hands on him and take the silver spoon out of his mouth before shoving it up his ass. Road Dogg stops him before he can finish his statement, saying he can't say that on Heat. Shane says that won't happen, as X-Pac is hiding behind DX and that he can take X-Pac. As for Triple H, he has an idea: tomorrow night, Triple H will be in a steel cage match against Kane.
