Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for February 7, 1999

The Corporation (WWF owner Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Chyna) show up to start tonight's show. Vince says that next week at St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Chyna will step into the ring. He hopes that this does not upset Chyna, as he is a fair and equitable human being and that it would be unfair for Chyna to face "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley one-on-one as she would utterly humiliate him like he has never been humiliated before. Vince than announces that in the interests of fairness, Triple H will have a tag team partner in X-Pac. Chyna will also get a tag team partner in the form of Kane. Vince then announces that there will be several massacres next week, and calls Mankind nothing more than a thief for stealing $100,000 from Shane's trust fund and blackmailed The Rock into a match for the WWF Championship, which The Rock would still have if not for Mr. Socko and a forklift. Nevertheless, Vince is confident that The Rock will regain the WWF Championship next week while Mankind will never wrestle again due to being massacred and butchered so badly by The Rock that he may never walk again. Vince then focuses on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying Austin displayed "stone cold fear" when he walked away from him, and while Austin is not afraid of him, he is afraid of defeat and history repeating itself since it eats him alive how he beat him to win the Royal Rumble Match. He tells Austin to put up his #1 contender's spot at WrestleMania, as he has a plan and he is going to defeat him one week from tonight, massacring his career. In order to make sure Austin is ready for his match, he puts Austin in a warm-up non-title match against Mankind on Saturday, then wishes Austin and Mankind a happy Valentine's Day.

Droz shows up with a stick in his hand before the next match, and Giant Silva chases him up the ramp and into the backstage area.

Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) beat The Oddities (Kurrgan and Golga). During the match, Droz attacks Giant Silva from behind with a steel chair. Later on, The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball) attack Golga with a DDT behind the referee's back as he deals with Taylor and Kurrgan.

We see footage from earlier today where Michael Cole interviews Al Snow. When asked what he will do to prove he is hardcore, Snow smacks himself in the head with weapons before running into a guardrail, trashing a concessions stand, spraying himself with a fire extinguisher and putting himself through a table. He then says that even i fhe does not win, he will hurt "Road Dogg" Jesse James for turning for turning on him.

We see Val Venis and Ryan Shamrock making out backstage.

WrestleMania 15 is eight weeks away!

The Godfather beats "The World's Most Dangerous Man Ken Shamrock by count-out. During the match, Val Venis shows up on the TitanTron and says he understands Shamrock's need to stay in control while he is in the zone, because right now, he is in the zone and he is about to lose control. Tyan Shamrock then shows up and makes out with Venis. Shamorck loses it and runs to the back, allowing The Godfather to win by count-out.

Backstage, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock finds and assaults Val Venis before grabbing Ryan Shamorck after she tells Ken she loves him.

Sable shows up to guest on commentary for the next match as it is announced that Val Venis is currently receiving medical attention.

Luna Vachon beats Jacqueline to become the #1 contender for the WWF Women's Championship. During the match, D'Lo Brown shows up and distracts Jacqueline, which allows Luna to hit a DDT and win the match.

Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett beat the team of D'Lo Brown and "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match. D'Lo and Mark Henry are eliminated by X-Pac after a tag team title shot to the head of D'Lo by Jarrett; . After the first elimination, Chyna shows up to watch the match from ringside. She later hits Triple H with a low blow behind the referee 's back as X-Pac and Jarrett brawl at ringside, allowing Owen and Jarrett to win the match.
