Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for February 28, 1999

Note: During the show, there were technical difficulties due to the mix of rain and snow in Dayton, Ohio, and only the audio could be heard. After Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) vs. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett, last week's episode of Sunday Night Heat was broadcast, with the results of the rest of the current show being available on WWF.com. When the episode was brought to the WWE Network, the episode appeared as intended to be shown with the aforementioned technical difficulties absent.

The show begins with Gillberg heading to the ring for a match only for him and his security team to be attacked by Chyna. Chyna makes her way to the ring, laying out Gillberg and the two men carrying sparklers on the stage before entering the ring and telling "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley - who is in the locker room watching the show with X-Pac - that he has laid his hands on her for the last time. She says that while her time is valuable, Triple H does not add up to the price anymore and that she will finish this one-on-one once and for all. She started this story, and now she plans to end it by knocking Triple H stiff. Triple H tells X-Pac that if Chyna wants her, she's got it.

Backstage, Shane McMahon tells Chyna that she will annihilate "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Chyna responds by grabbing Shane by the shirt collar, shoving him against the wall and telling him that she will kill Triple H.

Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) beat Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett. During the match, D'Lo Brown and Ivory show up, distracting Owen Hart and Debra and allowing The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball) to attack Owen as referee Jimmy Korderas is pre-occupied with Jeff Jarrett and Scott Taylor outside of the ring. After the match, D'Lo takes the microphone and says it is not over between them, Debra, Owen and Jarrett, then says Ivory has something to say to Jacqueline. Ivory says that last week, Jacqueline put her hands on D'Lo, and while D'Lo is a gentleman, she is not and she will put her hands on her. Ivory gives Jacqueline two minutes to get in the ring as she takes off her jacket to reveal a purple bustier underneath. After the commercial break, Ivory and D'Lo are still waiting for Jacqueline.

The newest issue of Playboy with Sable on the cover - and nude inside of the magazine - will be on newsstands next week.

Jacqueline and Terri Runnels show up, and Ivory and Jacqueline immediately go at it.

Ivory beats Jacqueline with a DDT after rolling out of the way of a top rope splash from Jacqueline.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Kurrgan, who is with the rest of The Oddities (Golga, Giant Silva, George "The Animal" Steele). Kurrgan says he just wants to dance with The Undertaker.

WrestleMania 15 is only four weeks away!

The Blue Meanie is seen feeding Goldust grapes backstage.

The Undertaker quickly beats Kurrgan. After the match, The Ministry of Darkness outnumber and overpower the rest of The Oddities (Golga, Giant Silva, George "The Animal" Steele) in the ring as they try to check on Kurrgan, all while The Undertaker watches. The Undertaker then tells WWF owner Vince McMahon that he was informed that Vince was unable to be here tonight, and says that word will get back to him about the carnage The Ministry they leave here tonight that is a reminder that tomorrow night, he has something in store for Vince. He also tells Vince he will own the WWF just like he owns Vince: mind, body and soul.

Michael Cole interviews Goldust and The Blue Meanie in the ring. Goldust questions Michael Cole's morality when he calls their alliance a "relationship," and when told that he has had an effect on The Blue Meanie, Goldust responds that maybe The Blue Meanie has had an effect on him. He says that The Blue Meanie wants to be like him, as he idolizes him like a son would to his father, and says that while he may not be The Meanie's real father, he "could be his mommy," saying he could care for him and shield him from all of "the evil, angry place in which we live." He then buries Michael Cole's head into his chest as he says that when The Meanie's head is nuzzled deep between his bosom, then and only then, he knows that "his mommy is here," and tells Michael Cole to re-examine his values when Cole says that he is sick. Goldust says that he is not The Blue Meanie's mother yet, but he can already feel the labor pains. Goldust and The Blue Meanie then crawl out of the ring together.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman, who is in a Kendo Stick Match against Droz tomorrow night on Raw. He questions Droz's audacity for challenging him to such a match and says he is "The Lethal Weapon" for a reason. He is then attacked from behind by Droz with a Kendo stick.

Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Flyboy Rocco) beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after putting Matt Hardy through a table. At the beginning of the match, The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) show up on the stage to watch the match from a distance, distracting Public Enemy at the beginning. After the match, The Brood attacks Public Enemy as referees run in to restore order.

Before the next match begins, X-Pac chases Shane McMahon around the ring and into the crowd, distracting "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and allowing Chyna to land the first blow. As Triple H hits the facebreaker knee smash and goes for the Pedigree, the lights go out and Kane shows up. Triple H lets go of Chyna to confront Kane, but Chyna hits Triple H with the low blow from behind and Kane hits Triple H with two choke slams followed by a Tombstone Piledriver to end the show.
