Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for January 31, 1999

We see the empty arena where Mankind vs. The Rock in an Empty Arena Match will take place. According to Michael Cole, the only other people will be WWF owner Vince McMahon, who will act as special guest commentator, and referee Earl Hebner, who will count the pinfall in this no-holds-barred, no-disqualification match.

WWF owner Shane McMahon shows up with The Corporation ("The World's Most Dangeorus Man" Ken Shamrock, The Big Boss Man, Test, Kane). Shane says The Corporation is proud to introduce its newest and hottest member, Chyna, who shows up with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco. Shane welcomes Chyna to the big time, and Chyna takes the microphone to welcome the opportunity to talk, saying everybody wants to get ahead. She says that she was the force behind D-Generation X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), who also wanted to get ahead, and she carried them on her back for almost two years. Unfortunately, she got no gratification and DX did not do anything for her. At Royal Rumble, Vince approached her to join the Corporation, saying that Chyna has something they wanted and needed. Chyna mentions that Vince shows appreciation for her, and says that Vince was willing to give in order to get. She then says it is all about the almighty dollar, and that "the buck stops here." She says that she has her appreciation for DX "right here," and that she can buy and sell them now like a bunch of cheap whores. Suddenly, DX shows up, and Triple H tells Shane he did a good job on putting one over on them, but tells him it will never happen again. He then tells Chyna that she wanted to be treated like an equal from the start, and he and everyone else in DX did it; the problem was that they were never equals as the four of them are men, and no matter how badly Chyna wanted "a set," she could never get them. He then says Chyna was right to say it was all about the money, as she is nothing but a two-dollar whore. X-Pac takes the microphone and tells Shane that if he wanted to get a bronco ride on him, then he will get his hands on him and take the silver spoon out of his mouth before shoving it up his ass. Road Dogg stops him before he can finish his statement, saying he can't say that on Heat. Shane says that won't happen, as X-Pac is hiding behind DX and that he can take X-Pac. As for Triple H, he has an idea: tomorrow night, Triple H will be in a steel cage match against Kane. When asked by Shane if she has any last for words for DX, Chyna says she has just one: "corporate."
