In footage from earlier tonight, The Four Horseman ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) are seen discussing the events of last night. Flair says that when Hollywood Hogan shows up tonight, he is a dead man. The New World Order arrives to the arena in a limousine, and The Four Horsemen immediately go on the attack, and the limo containing the nWo drives away. Flair then makes his way to the ring, followed by "Mean" Gene Okerlund and a police escort. Okerlund interviews Flair, who tells Hogan that as the president of World Championship Wrestling, he told him last week that he would not drift off into the sunset and make a movie, or walk the world a free man doing what he chose to do, and that he works for him and for WCW. At SuperBrawl IX, Hogan will wrestle him for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and that in five weeks, after what he did to David Flair, he will not only have to beat him, but to kill him to keep Flair from killing him. Flair says he doesn't want to be just a 14-time World champ, but to also be the man who killed Hogan. Flair also tells Eric Bischoff to get his head out of the toilet and to come to the ring right now. Bischoff shows up, and says that he has nothing to do with what happened last night as he was not even in the building. Flair tells Bischoff that tonight, he will be wrestling him again. Bischoff says that there is nothing in his contract that tells him to wrestle anybody, and that he wrestles anybody when he wants to. Flair then tells Bischoff that if he beats him tonight, he will shave his head and have Bischoff do it for him. Bischoff rejects the challenge. Flair throws in the company as well, telling Bischoff that if he beats him, he will be able to run WCW again and he will go away forever. Before Bischoff can answer, David Flair shows up, shoves Bischoff to the side, and gets in the ring. Dvid tells Bischoff he knows he set last night's attack up, and says he will fight him, not Ric. Bischoff loves the idea, and accepts the match. Flair then tells Bischoff that if David wins, Bischoff gets his head shaved. Nevertheless, Bischoff tells Flair that he has his match.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Booker T beats Chris Jericho.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. He says he has been watching the actions of referee Scott Dickinson, and announces that he has been suspended for 30 days before asking Dickinson to sit home and give some serious thought to his responsibilities as a WCW official. He also says he wants to see Scott Hall, Bam Bam Bigelow and Goldberg in a Triangle Match after what has happened between the three men as of late, then announces that David Flair vs. Eric Bischoff is official for tonight. He then says that his father, who is currently in the hospital, is a big fan of Nitro, and that he would be on a fast road to recovery if he saw David Flair win tonight.
Bruise Cruise 1999 from Nassau, The Bahamas to Miami, Florida happens May 17th to May 21th! Make your reservations now!
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Rey Mysterio Jr. Rey says he stayed in the Latino World Order as he felt it was not time for him, and that red, white and green are his colors. He says that his mask represents everything in his career, and it will never be taken off and will always be a part of his life. As for Lex Luger, he does not know what he has against him, but he will not be intimidated by him, Kevin Nash or anyone big enough who wants to face him. If Luger does have something against him, he dares him to bring it on.
David Flair beats Eric Bischoff after hitting him with a right hand to the face, knocking Bischoff out. After the match, David reveals that he had a roll of quarters in his hand. The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) show up, celebrate with David and cut Bischoff's hair (and it is revealed that Bischoff dies it black on the surface). Before the cutting of the hair, Mongo takes two of the quarters and places them on Bischoff's eyelids. As per pre-match stipulations, not only does Bischoff get his hair shaved, but Ric Flair stays in control of the company. When Bischoff comes to, he is aghast that his hair has been cut. When the replay is shown, it is revealed that referee Randy Anderson slipped the roll of quarters to David Flair.
Backstage, Chris Jericho asks WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon to force Saturn to wear a dress, presenting a written contract and a dress thrown in the trash. Saturn shows up, and J.J. Dillon sadly and reluctantly has to enforce the contract.
Konnan shows up. He calls Kevin Nash and Lex Luger "punk mark busters" for being in cahoots with Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff, having never squashed the black-and-white when they had a chance. He thanks Luger and Nash for giving him a chance and letting him be himself, but says the nWo will have to pay, as when they attacked him, they attacked the fans, and eventually, he will catch up to them and they will have to toss his salad and peel his potatoes. He then tells Nash that if he isn't the lead wolf, the view never changes.
Mike Enos and Bobby Duncum, Jr. vs. The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) in the WCW World Tag Team Championship Tournament ends in a no-contest. During the match, The New World Order returns to the arena, and Hollywood Hogan is made aware of Eric Bischoff's recent haircut as the nWo make their way to the ring and beat up all four men in the ring. Meng ends up being shocked with a stun gun by Scott Hall before Bischoff makes his way to the ring. Kevin Nash says there would be no tag team tournament as promised. Hogan says he had hoped that the WCW fans would realize that this is Armageddon for WCW, as what happened to Bischoff put it over the top, and after what happened last night with David Flair, the nWo had decided that the whole pack is on the hunt. Hogan tells "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair that he accepts his challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and in five weeks, the nWo will make WCW and Flair's life a living hell, for when Flair did what he did to Bischoff, it is like stripping the colors off the Hell's Angels, and someone is going to die. Now that the pack has tasted the Flair family's blood, it is his job to put the silver stake in Flair's heart.
We see a video package for Scott Hall vs. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Goldberg.
Before the next match, Disco Inferno shows up wearing an nWo shirt.
Disco Inferno beats Wrath. During the match, Scott Hall shows up, and eventually gets the attention of Wrath. Near the end, Scott Hall tries to hit Wrath with his stun stick, and Wrath kicks him out of the ring. Disco hits Wrath with the Chart Buster as soon as he turns around, and gets the win. After the match, he is congratulated by Scott Hall.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls...which is interrupted by Scott Steiner, who wants them to stop dancing as he is looking for a little romancing. Scott Steiner asks all the Nitro Girls if any of them want to be with a real man, especially Kimberly, and tells Kimberly he's seen her man - Diamond Dallas Page - and that he has beaten him like a dog. He then wants to know if there are any freaks out there in the crowd who have never been with a man like him, because after the show, he is ready to go.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner says he is looking for a "freak of the week." He and Buff Bagwell then make fun of Saturn, who doesn't look as good as he does, even in a dress. He calls Saturn out, telling he will show him what it is like to wrestle a real man. Saturn shows up, and Scott Steiner says only steers and queers from Texas, and immediately questions Saturn's manhood. This earns Scott Steiner - and Buff Bagwell - a punch in the face, starting the match.
Scott Steiner beats Saturn with the Steiner Recliner after Buff Bagwell gets on the apron and pulls Steiner out of the Death Valley Driver.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls, and this time they are not interrupted.
Kevin Nash, Lex Luger and Miss Elizabeth show up. Nash mocks Konnan's intro, and says if it wasn't for him and Luger, Konnan would still be a curtain jerker, and Konnan knows it. The only problem they have with Konnan is that they feel he has no heart, endurance, or soul. He tells Konnan he can talk about salads and potatoes, but it's all about the Benjamin, and asks Konnan how his view was before patting his butt. Luger asks if Elizabeth was a gorgeous sight to behold, and Nash says that Elizabeth "painted a pretty picture." Luger then focuses on Rey Mysterio Jr., whom he says is no bigger than his leg. Luger has heard what Rey has said about his mask, and says that he will not only beat his brains out tonight, but also take his mouth off and expose what he really looks like. He asks Rey to take his mask off and hand it over backstage - and not to be stupid like Konnan was - and they can call the match of. Otherwise, he will beat him down and rip his mask off.
A delusional Scott Steiner continues to harass Kimberly and The Nitro Girls, especially Kimberly. WCW security has to escort Scott Steiner, who tells them that all the Nitro Girls want his body, out of the room.
Psychosis beats Juventud Guerrera.
Before the next match, Rey Mysterio Jr. comes out with the Latino World Order shirt on and the mask on. Luger says he is trying to be nice, and if he takes off the shirt and hands him the mask, he will let him walk. Rey does not answer, and Luger ends up kicking him in the gut.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Lex Luger by disqualification after Kevin Nash, who shows up midway through the match, hits Rey with a sidewalk slam. After the match, Rey fights back against Nash and Luger, but Nash hits Rey with a Jackknife Power Bomb before Luger puts Rey in the Torture Rack. Before Rey can be unmasked, however, Konnan rushes in with a steel chair and chases Nash and Luger out of the ring.
We see the groundbreaking ceremony for The Nitro Grill at Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Scott Steiner continues to harass Kimberly in the ladies' restroom, and security has to keep Scott Steiner away again.
Goldberg vs. Scott Hall vs. Bam Bam Bigelow ends with the New World Order attacking Goldberg. The Four Horsemen ("THe Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn ANderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) all show up and fight the nWo, clearing the house. Flair chases after Hogan's limousine.t
