RAW
The World Wrestling Federation recognizes Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start tonight's show, and is interviewed by Michael Cole. Before talking about the Royal Rumble Match, Austin recalls when Mankind beat The Rock for the WWF Champion. He gives Mankind credit, and calls him "one tough bastard." He then says that the good news is that Mankind is a deserving and respected WWF Champion, but the bad news is that when the bell rings to start the match at WrestleMania, he will be Mankind's opponent. Austin says that nobody knows better than him that this could be has last shot at the WWF Championship after being made the first man in the match and having a $100,000 bounty on his head that will be given to anyone who eliminates him. He then says that nobody will eliminate him in the Royal Rumble Match. He then asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they want to see him beat WWF co-owner Vince McMahon's ass all night long and another "hell yeah" if they want to see him win the Royal Rumble Match. He gets a "hell yeah" both times, and says that when all is said and done, Vince will know that Austin 3:16 says "I just whipped your ass."

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beats Test by disqualification after Gunn is attacked by "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock until referees show up to restore order. Shamrock then sends Billy Gunn face-first into the commentary table from the apron to the outside before tossing him towards the table, then sends him into the steel steps before putting him in the ankle lock. He then attacks the timekeeper and referee Tim White before grabbing the hammer for the ring bell, teasing another attack on Gunn only to drop the hammer and leave. Referees have to tend to Billy Gunn.

Kevin Kelly interviews Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart and Debra. Jarrett says they have beaten The New Age Outlaws, The Brood and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken SHamrock and The Big Boss Man, and that all that is left is to make it official. Shamrock and Boss Man attack Owen and Jarrett, and referees and officials have to break up the brawl.
We see WWF co-owner Vince McMahon train some more, this time in a warehouse, as he complains about being made the #2 entrant in the Royal Rumble Match. Vince says he is ready for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin this Sunday. In case he is eliminated, there will be "100,000 reason" why Austin will not win, and tells Austin that this Sunday, he has "no chance in Hell."
The Big Boss Man is seen attacking Mankind backstage. The camera feed cuts off when Mankind tosses The Big Boss Man into the cameraman.

WAR ZONE
Mankind and The Big Boss Man now brawl their way into their arena, and their Hardcore Rules Match starts proper at this point.
Mankind beats The Big Boss Man in a Hardcore Rules Match by disqualification after The Rock shows up and hits Mankind in the back with a steel chair. After The Rock promises that he will win at Royal Rumble, The Rock gets back in the ring and hits Mankind with a Rock Bottom into the steel chair.
"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry follows Chyna, telling her to reconsider about telling him to set things straight and airing some dirty laundry, but Chyna tells Mark "It's your choice, Mark."
WWF co-owner Vince McMahon makes sure that Kane does what he tells him to do as he tells The Rock and Kane to have their match that WWF Commissioner "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels set up last night.
Chyna shows up, and calls out "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, telling him his 24 hours are up. Mark's mother is seen in the front row. Mark asks Chyna not to go through with what she is about to go through with, but Chyna tells him to make the decision. Mark tells Chyna that he and Sammy did not do "the wild thing, the mild thing or no thing." We then see footage of what hapened in the locker room that we did not see last week, where Sammy makes out with Mark Henry only for Mark Henry to find out that Sammy is a man cross-dressing as a woman. Chyna tells Mark she wouldn't date him if he was the last man on Earth, and tells Mark's mom he had it coming before hitting Mark with a low blow. Mark's mom then calls Mark out and disciplines him on the way to the back.
We see footage from backstage during the break where "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry is given a hard time by his mother.
Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco talk strategy over how they will beat Chyna tonight, and argue over who will pin Chyna for the victory.
Al Snow beats Goldust to regain possession of Head. After the match, Al Snow tries to hit Goldust with Head, but Goldust ducks it and hits Snow with a spinebuster before hitting Show with Shattered Dreams and leaving with Head again.
Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco continue to argue over who will pin Chyna.
Mideon shows up, going on and on about the number seven before the chanting of Druids can be heard and talking about how "he is coming." Druids show up, as do The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) and Paul Bearer. The Undertaker then shows up and sits on his throne, and tells the people that their world is polluted with rotting souls. Last week, we witnessed Dennis Knight - now Mideon - become one with the darkness, and now, he sees and feels what we cannot, and Dennis Knight ceased to exist and Mideon was given everlasting life, as was all of his ministry. Tonight, he speaks of prophecy, and what he will, shall be done. He says the sacrifices are not over, and the ceremony has been scheduled. At Royal Rumble, the next sacrificial lamb will be led to slaughter, and the people's simple minds will not allow them to believe who the next victim will be. He tells us to attend if we dare, and that to resist is to subject one's self to agonizing pain and extreme suffering.
Chyna beats Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco in a 2-on-1 handicap match. During the match, Sable shows up, but she is attacked by Luna Vachon with a leather strap. Referees and officials show up, and Luna flees through the crowd before Sable is tended to. After that, Brisco hits the Corporate Elbow, but Brisco and Patterson bicker over who will pin Chyna. As Chyna punches Patterson, Brisco throws power in Chyna's eyes before Patterson and Brisco fondle Chyna's breasts and buttocks, which fires Chyna up and causes her to attack them both. She then places Brisco on top of Patterson and sits on both of them to get the pinfall.
The Rock talks with WWF co-owners Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon. Shane and Vince guarantee that Kane will do exactly as Vince tells him to.
Before the next match, WWF co-owner Vince McMahon tells the fans not to get their hopes up, as "it is not happening." Vince tells The Rock to push Kane down with his finger, and for Kane to fall down in what is obviously a parody of what happened on Nitro between Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash two weeks ago. Vince asks Kane if he gets it, and tells him not to do anything stupid. Kane tells Vince to stick it, and The Corporation attacks Kane. The Rock then asks the rest of The Corporation to leave Kane to him.
The Rock vs. Kane ends with The Corporation attacking Kane when Kane choke slams both The Rock and Test. Mankind shows up with a steel chair and takes out members of The Corporation before confronting The Rock, who is approached from behind by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. As soon as The Rock sees Austin behind him, Mankind plasters The Rock with a steel chair to end the show.
