Souled Out 1999 - The Results

The show starts with a press conference by WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who says that WCW is in control once again. Those who stayed within the ranks of WCW and challenged those of the nWo, he gives their thanks for their support and loyalty. He says that WCW is the strongest wrestling organization in the world, and says there are hundreds who support him and hundreds behind him, and he does not stand alone. He says that WCW will continue to persevere against the nWo and those who would challenge WCW, and this time, WCW will reign supreme, as it is re-united and looking very, very good.

When the show goes to the arena, it is revealed that every instance where the show's logo appears, the "nWo" segment at the top is crossed out with a red X.

It is reported that Goldberg is on the floor in his dressing room backstage, holding on to one of his knees.

"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Mike Enos with the Crippler Crossface. During the match, is is reported that Goldberg is going to have his leg checked.

Before the next match, Norman Smiley shows up with a red urn, which contains the remains of Chavo Guerrero Jr.'s horse Pepe.

Norman Smiley beats Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the Norman Conquest after Norman tosses the remains of Pepe from the urn into Chavo's face.

Konnan is interviewed for WCW.com. Konnan says Kevin Nash and Lex Luger showed him a lot of love, and wants to know who said he was out and had everyone attack him.

Fit Finley beats Van Hammer.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Wrath.

Before the next match, Konnan tells Lex Luger to get ready to "toss my salad and peel his potatoes" after he beats him. After Luger shows up, Luger says he feels a lot of anger from Konnan and that it is not necessary, as he gave him a wake-up call. He says it does not have to go any further and that he can let him walk, because he has nothing but love for him; however, there is an "A-Team" and a "B-Team," and tells Konnan that he is not "A-Team" material. When Luger gives Konnan the option to either fight or leave, Konnan fights.

Lex Luger beats Konnan with the Torture Rack. During the match, Miss Elizabeth shows up just before Konnan puts Lex Luger in the Tequila Sunrise, and spray black spray paint into Konnan's eyes as he has the hold locked in. Luger then puts Konnan in the Torture Rack for the win. Konnan has to be helped to the back after the match by trainer Danny Young and referee Mickey Jay.

Chris Jericho and Ralphus show up with a paper bag containing a dress before the next match. It is also noticed that Scott Dickinson - who has been known as of late for having something against Saturn - is the referee for this match.

Chris Jericho beats Saturn after referee Scott Dickinson rolls Jericho on top of Saturn during an inside cradle and making a fast count to give Jericho the win. As per the recently revised pre-match stipulation, the loser must wear a dress, and Saturn puts on the dress. Saturn scares off Dickinson as he zips up the back of Saturn's dress, and afterwards, Jericho, Ralphus and Dickinson are seen smiling and laughing on their way backstage.

David Flair is interviewed for WCW.com. He knows he is not a wrestler, but he is out here for respect for his father "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Even though Barry Windham and Curt Hennig are twice his size, he wants to leave as David Flair, not just as "Ric Flair's son."

Kidman retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio Jr., Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera in a Four Corners Match.

Booker T is interviewed for WCW.com. As Booker T talks about Chris Jericho, Jericho shows up and brags about his victory tonight. Booker T tells Jericho that he only won because he had referee Scott Dickinson in his back pocket. Jericho tells Booker T that if he thinks he is bad, he can face him in the ring tomorrow night on Nitro. Booker T accepts the challenge.

Before the next match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair grabs a steel chair, and tells Barry Windham and Curt Hennig to "come on down here one time." Hennig says he is not getting into the ring until security removes "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, but then asks what Anderson could possibly do to him and Windham at this point. Flair tells Hennig to get in the ring unless he wants to work for WWF or some other company. Barry Windham then tells David Flair that if he wants to prove he is tough, he will start the match with him and he can teach him a lesson in front of everyone in the arena.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and David Flair beat Curt Hennig and Barry Windham after "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson hits Hennig in the back with a tire iron prior to the Hennigplex, causing David Flair to fall on Hennig for the pinfall (even though it looks like Hennig pulls David down, pulling David on top of him). After the match, the New World Order show up and attack the Flairs and Anderson. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit gets involved, but he is attacked. Hollywood Hogan shows up with even more members of the nWo while carrying a pair of handcuffs, and the entire nWo surround the Flairs. David is pushed around while Hogan cuffs Flair to the middle rope and stomps him. Hogan then trips David Flair, and when David charges at Hogan, he too gets attacked before Hogan whips David in the back with his weightlifting belt. Hogan then spray paints the letters "EZE" on David's back. The nWo then attacks David Flair with the weightlifting belt again as Hogan screams at a despondent Ric Flair, then leave. (As this happens, the nWo also takes a can of red spray paint, crosses out the WCW logo on the ring mat and spray paints "nWo" on the mat above the Souled Out logo.)

Before the next match, Scott Hall says there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that everyone got to see him, and the bad news is that Goldberg wet his pants, slipped in it and hurt his knee upon finding out he was facing him, and goes on to say that he has ended Goldberg's career. Hall then says there will be no Stun Gun Match tonight, and tells the referee to raise his hand. It is not long before Goldberg shows up with a knee brace on his left knee.

Despite a hurt knee and the interference by Disco Inferno which almost allows Scott Hall to take the stun gun and win the match, Goldberg beats Scott Hall in a Stun Gun Match. After the match, Bam Bam Bigelow shows up, and Scott Hall zaps both Goldberg and Bigelow with the stun gun to end the show.
