Guilty As Charged 1999 - The Results

The show starts with Paul E. Dangerously, aka executive producer Paul Heyman, thanking the fans for purchasing Guilty As Charged. To show their gratitude, ECW will not "be like the other guys and jerk you around and bullshit you." He announces that there will be changes to the card. Masato Tanaka will not be coming in from Japan to challenge Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television Championship, and Jerry Lynn will be unable to perform at full capacity, as ECW refuses to give the fans a half-assed performance from a great competitor like Jerry Lynn. He announces that ECW wants to show him at his full capability, and that they will try it again on March 21st at Living Dangerously. Instead, ECW will shift things around and give the best show that they can. He has never believed in a locker room like the one of ECW, as they have the hardest-working performers, the best athletes and wrestlers who care the most about ECW. ECW promises to give the most bang for the bank and "break every f'n rule in the business," and for that, ECW is guilty as charged.

Joey Styles welcomes everyone to the event.

During the opening bout, Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney show up despite not being scheduled to be on the show. Axl Rotten says he was watching this match from backstage, and says it looked like a homosexual dance party. He then proposed making the match an elimination-style three way dance. The match becomes a three-way tag team elimination match immediately.

The team of Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney beat the team of Danny Doring and Roadkill and The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Tracy Smothers) in a three-way tag team elimination match. After the match, Big Sal E. Graziano and Big Guido get in the ring, but they get nailed with steel chairs for their efforts.

Terry Funk talks about how his father had a jackass that he loved and cared for. One day, that jackass kicked him in the crotch, and his father told him to get the knife. He did, and his father slit the jackass' throat. He looked down at the jackass and his father said to him "Payback is hell, son." He then says "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer is like that jackass, as he kicked him in the nuts by using Jake "The Snake" Roberts as his mystery partner over him. He says it is payback time on his part, and he will find out how much blood is in that body of his. He hates Roberts' guts, and says he can look at him and tell he is a "son of a bitch," and wants Dreamer to look at him and see a son-of-a-bitch, too. He then says that payback time is coming, and that it will be from now until the day Dramer dies. He then tells the cameraman to get out of the locker room.

Yoshihiro Tajiri beats Super Crazy.

Before the next match, former referee Jeff Jones shows up in a judge's robe, and calls himself Judge Jeff Jones. In a land in which the President is on trial by the Senate before they even reach their verdict, he has found President Bill Clinton guilty as charged. In a land where O.J. Simpson is allowed to run free, he finds Simpson guilty as charged. Tonight, John Kronus steps into his courtroom to face charges brought against him. Last week, he took him and laid him flat in the center of the ring, and hit him with the 450 splash. He tells Kronus he is the judge and jury, and finds him guilty as charged for assault. Now that he has sentenced him, Kronus will face his executioner, whom he says is a little bit psycho and will deal out his brand of justice. Kronus says nobody is crazy enough to come out and play with him, but Jeff Jones brings the man out: Sycho Sid, who goes by the name Sid Vicious. Sid puts Kronus through a wooden table in a matter of seconds.

Sid Vicious beats John Kronus.

"The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner and Sign Guy Dudley show up, as do The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray, D-Von and Big Dick Dudley). Buh Buh Ray does not care who they face tonight, as their opponents will soon be seeing 3D. When they get in the ring, D-Von says it is time for Gertner to get medieval on everyone's asses. After the introductions, Buh Buh Ray says that they are not even scheduled to be here tonight and that the crowd does not deserve to see them fight. He then issues an open challenge to any two people who want to fight Dudleyville style. The challenge is answered by New Jack - who shows up with a garbage can full of weapons - and Spike Dudley.

The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat New Jack and Spike Dudley. The Dudley Boyz and Big Dick Dudley continue to attack New Jack after the match, and D-Von reminds New Jack not to fuck with them. Buh Buh Ray then declares that New Jack and Spike Dudley are dead, and that they have beaten every tag team in ECW history, having split up The Gangstas and The Eliminators and destroyed Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, The Sandman and Beulah McGilicutty. He then tells Sabu and Rob Van Dam that their days are numbered, and that there is only one tag team left to beat to prove they are the greatest tag team in ECW history as well as the world: Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock). Buh Buh Ray tells them to show up on Saturday, January 16th at the ECW Arena if they have the guts, so they can put an end to all the rumors and prove they are the greatest tag team in the world.

Before the next match, Lance Storm says it is obvious he will not have a three-way dance tonight as Spike Dudley took the beating that he had planned for him tonight and Jerry Lynn is still crying about a cracked pelvis that he did give him. He then says this frees him for bigger and better things, but the only thing better than being from Calgary, Alberta, Canada is having a championship belt around his waist. He calls out Rob Van Dam, saying that if he has the guts to get out here, he will show him that he's not the whole f'n show, but "the best damn part of it." Rob Van Dam answers the challenge.

Rob Van Dam retains the ECW World Television Championship against Lance Storm. During the match, Van Dam accidentally hits referee John Finegan with a Van Daminator, knocking him out. Bill Alfonso tries to hit Storm with a chair, but Storm takes it from him only to run smack into a Van Daminator from the top rope. Finegan comes to, but Storm kicks out, and Finegan is out again. It takes a German Suplex bridge pin for RVD to get the win.

Justin Credible beats "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer in a Singapore Cane Match after Terry Funk shows up and hits Dreamer with a trash can, allowing Credible to hit Dreamer with the Singapore Can that he introduced into the match. After the match, Funk keeps hitting Dreamer with the trash can before raising Justin Credible's hand.

Stephen Prazak interviews Taz. He says that tonight is just another match and that "The Franchise" Shane Douglas is just another victim.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas tells Sid Vicious to go somewhere else to become world champ, as it is easier "up north or down south." As for Taz, they have gone at it since day one, and he is not giving the World title up to him as he made it, and will remain the ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

Taz beats "The Franchise" Shane Douglas with the Katahajime to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship! During the match, Sabu shows up and runs into the ring despite wearing a neck brace, and goes after both Douglas and Taz before splashing Taz through a table. Suddenly, Douglas raises the three fingers, signaling for the Triple Threat despite the Triple Threat. Tammy Lynn Sytch shows up, and Francine shoves her, wanting her nowhere near Douglas. Chris Candido has to keep Sytch away from her, and after Francine is ejected from the ring, Chris Candido nails Douglas and throws down his Triple Threat shirt before leaving with Sytch. Taz then locks in the Katahajime, and Douglas refuses to tap out, letting Taz send him into unconsciousness for the win.

Living Dangerously is March 21st!
